00:00:00.120 Evidence is piling up that Liberal MPs just might be filling their family members' pockets with taxpayer money.
00:00:06.680 The CBC likes to defend scumbag politicians, and Bill Morneau resigns, leaving our country with the most debt it's ever had in history.
00:00:14.900 This is Canada Now. I'm Greg Wycliffe. 0.95
00:00:18.860 Our top story tonight is a detailed, up-to-date breakdown on the We Charity scandal.
00:00:30.000 Too many Kielburgers. 1.00
00:00:44.720 In other news, the Liberal government has been under fire for misplacing over 20,000 infrastructure projects.
00:00:50.340 With billions of dollars unaccounted for, the auditors in charge of auditing these projects don't even have the resources to keep track of how much money we've lost track of.
00:01:00.080 In other words, we've lost track of so much money, and we don't even have the money to measure how much money we've lost track of.
00:01:07.260 Who the hell writes this stuff?
00:01:09.240 Canadians who aren't part of a goat-worshipping cult, sorry, I mean Canadians who aren't Liberal supporters, are beyond frustrated with this.
00:01:17.200 One Canadian man went to the office of Catherine McKenna, Canada's Minister of Infrastructure.
00:01:22.400 And when this man was turned away at the door by McKenna's staffer, he started complaining about her mismanagement of these projects, and things got a little heated.
00:01:29.920 Hello, how are you today?
00:01:30.900 How are you?
00:01:31.620 Can I speak with Catherine?
00:01:32.760 No, sorry, your office is open to the public.
00:01:35.160 Okay, I got a tiny bit of an issue. Can you help me?
00:01:37.660 She says she's spending $5 billion, $10 billion a year on infrastructure.
00:01:41.280 The PBO office, Eve Giroux, says she's only spending $5 billion a year.
00:01:45.280 What's up with that? 0.93
00:01:46.080 I don't go to work every day and bust my ****** for this ****** to steal our ****** money. 1.00
00:01:51.740 You're all scumbags. 1.00
00:01:53.100 I hope you all burn in ****** hell. 1.00
00:01:54.800 You're all going to get what you deserve, you ****** traitors. 1.00
00:01:57.620 Now, based on the explicitives in this video, I can only assume this guy was making some great points. 0.99
00:02:05.140 But here in Canada now, calling our politicians' names, holding their feet to the fire, ridiculing and shaming them to be better,
00:02:11.580 Well, that's a hate crime now.
00:02:13.900 Well, according to CBC, the police are launching a hate crime investigation against this man.
00:02:18.840 So, entire province of Alberta, people who don't like Trudeau, look out.
00:02:22.640 You might be being investigated.
00:02:24.580 Being investigated by the police for criticizing politicians and authority figures.
00:02:29.420 What does that remind me of, huh?
00:02:33.220 Huh.
00:02:33.820 But not to worry, we have the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, designed to serve everyday Canadians, just like this guy.
00:02:41.720 Did the CBC have sympathy for the little guy and hear out the frustrations of this taxpayer,
00:02:46.480 who feels like our infrastructure minister could have done a little better,
00:02:49.760 considering she's misplaced tens of thousands of projects?
00:02:52.200 Of course not.
00:02:54.140 The state-funded CBC acted like a state-funded propaganda machine defending this incompetent politician,
00:03:00.240 downplaying the irresponsible management of projects,
00:03:03.040 and instead propagating the idea that this random Canadian guy complaining is a hate crime.
00:03:09.860 State-run propaganda defending corrupt politicians.
00:03:14.660 What does that remind me of?
00:03:16.840 It's right in front of you guys.
00:03:18.580 And some of you might say, Greg, shouldn't you have more sympathy for Catherine McKenna?
00:03:22.540 She's a woman in politics, and she's being shouted at by this man and physically intimidated.
00:03:27.440 Look, politics is an ugly place.
00:03:30.940 I ran for politics last year.
00:03:32.400 The CBC and other mainstream media outlets grossly mischaracterized my party and my leader.
00:03:37.040 Because of these mischaracterizations, some of which from our public broadcaster,
00:03:41.040 I had an 18-year-old volunteer shouted at in the street
00:03:45.300 and physically intimidated by a man probably twice his age.
00:03:49.260 I was flagrantly disrespected at debates by grown men who are hoping to represent you in Parliament.
00:03:55.520 I was protested against, banned from debates, slandered online,
00:03:59.200 campaign signage was vandalized, along with many other PPC candidates.
00:04:03.660 They had that experience.
00:04:05.100 And finally, I had a Canadian volunteer of Indian heritage harassed on the street for campaigning with me,
00:04:11.060 even having vegetables thrown at him.
00:04:13.400 So, no, I don't have any sympathy for Catherine McKenna.
00:04:17.980 She did a bad job, and now she's getting called out on it. 0.98
00:04:21.160 Now, if we could only do something about our state-funded broadcaster and other mainstream media outlets, 0.95
00:04:27.500 instead of defending these incompetent crooks in suits,
00:04:31.300 maybe they could focus on the very valid concern of Canadian taxpayers.
00:04:36.400 Dare to dream.
00:04:37.500 But should Canadians really be worried about billions of misplaced dollars
00:04:41.980 and 20,000 missing infrastructure projects?
00:04:45.060 Like, grow up.
00:04:46.840 Besides, a journalist from Rebel News, Kian Bexty, just asked Catherine McKenna
00:04:50.880 the other day about these infrastructure projects.
00:04:53.620 So, I'm wondering if any of the 20,000 government projects that Minister McKenna
00:04:59.100 lost track of were aimed at easing Alberta's unemployment rate.
00:05:08.880 It appears we've lost Minister McKenna.
00:05:11.520 Oh, my God, I'm losing connection.
00:05:14.000 Click.
00:05:15.000 You've got to hand it to those liberals.
00:05:16.300 They are getting very good at just completely avoiding questions. 0.97
00:05:20.220 Speaking of incompetent female politicians, 1.00
00:05:22.720 Chrystia Freeland has been appointed Canada's new finance minister. 0.93
00:05:26.680 Yes, she may have the financial experience of a digital watch,
00:05:30.320 the political tact of a bowling ball, cottage cheese for legs,
00:05:33.460 and the condescending space cadet demeanor of a kindergarten teacher,
00:05:36.500 but in this liberal government?
00:05:39.000 She's a perfect fit.
00:05:39.980 See, as she continues to spend our money irresponsibly, 1.00
00:05:43.500 having us head towards third-world country status,
00:05:46.180 she will have her cooing soft voice to make us feel safe,
00:05:49.480 and her female victim status to make villains out of anyone who dares 1.00
00:05:53.400 criticize her while she turns our economy into shit soup. 0.99
00:05:56.940 The restart of our economy needs to be green. 0.99
00:06:01.260 It also needs to be equitable.
00:06:04.260 But let's face it, if there's anything I've learned about the pitiful state of this country, 1.00
00:06:08.360 it's very clear that many Canadians love being talked down to like their stupid children. 1.00
00:06:13.420 Personally, I look forward to her reading me pop-up storybooks about the green economy, 1.00
00:06:17.880 tales about the end of racism and sexism,
00:06:20.300 and guys, this is not thinly veiled Marxist propaganda designed to tear our nation apart
00:06:24.920 at the seams through divisions of race, gender, and class.
00:06:27.200 No, no, this is economics.
00:06:29.800 Freeland, the liberals, yeah, they may ignore the very real plight of homelessness,
00:06:33.280 drug addiction, record job losses, the inefficiencies of green energy,
00:06:36.520 the rising crime rates, and illegal firearms in Toronto,
00:06:38.840 but as long as we get a nice shot or perhaps close-up of those milky thighs, 0.97
00:06:44.640 I'm all for it.
00:06:45.580 And then there's Bill Morneau. 0.95
00:06:49.920 Bill Morneau resigned earlier this month from his former position of shitting the bed
00:06:54.620 as finance minister.
00:06:56.420 After plummeting Canada into more debt than we've ever had in our history,
00:07:00.460 he thought to himself,
00:07:01.660 you know what, I think now is a good time for me to leave.
00:07:04.840 You think?
00:07:05.720 During his press conference announcing his resignation,
00:07:08.820 he assured us that he made this decision on his own.
00:07:12.560 His resignation had nothing to do with this We Charity scandal that's been in the news.
00:07:17.420 It had nothing to do with the fact that he was caught accepting over $40,000 from We Charity
00:07:21.580 that he suspiciously just remembered to pay back recently.
00:07:24.960 It had nothing to do with the fact that one of his relatives was at one point a full-time employee for We Charity.
00:07:30.360 No, his resignation had nothing to do with that stuff.
00:07:33.560 What? What are you, stupid? 1.00
00:07:35.420 I know that with this liberal government, Canadians will be in good hands. 1.00
00:07:40.360 However, many Canadians are speculating,
00:07:43.460 couldn't Bill Morneau's resignation just be the latest scapegoat to distract us all from the latest liberal scandal?
00:07:50.720 Could Bill's resignation be the very surface-level signal to sleepy Canadians? 0.84
00:07:55.120 Ah, yes, the We scandal. 0.99
00:07:56.860 All the corruption has been dealt with now.
00:08:00.000 I mean, it does seem oddly familiar to the SNC-Lavalin affair
00:08:03.880 when Jody Wilson-Raybould resigned
00:08:05.840 and then Gerald Butts resigned, only to return later.
00:08:08.680 I mean, the We scandal does kind of seem like another hokey-pokey, if you will. 0.97
00:08:15.340 You put a minister in, you take a minister out,
00:08:18.440 you get caught with the bag and blame everybody else,
00:08:21.640 you do a cabinet shuffle and you turn yourself around,
00:08:24.780 that's what it's all about.
00:08:27.420 But for those of us who are no longer lulled to sleep by CBC propaganda,
00:08:31.920 we're left painfully aware of the putrid smell coming from Parliament Hill.
00:08:35.720 And what do we need to do about it?
00:08:37.580 I mean, Canadians are proving to have the attention span of goldfish, 1.00
00:08:41.020 the moral fiber of a wet noodle,
00:08:43.460 and the gratitude of a young child having a temper tantrum at the grocery store.
00:08:48.000 Indoctrinated Canadians care about corruption in their government,
00:08:50.880 like they care about indigenous reserves in Canada not having clean drinking water.
00:08:54.860 They may tell you they really care, 0.98
00:08:56.540 but I can guarantee you they don't plan on doing jack shit about it. 0.96
00:09:00.480 So what can we do? 0.92
00:09:01.580 I mean, we can try to hold each other accountable.
00:09:03.580 We can try to support alternative news and alternative media in Canada.
00:09:07.540 You can start by subscribing to this YouTube channel.
00:09:10.000 Share it with your friends.
00:09:10.880 Have a conversation.
00:09:12.360 I'm really tired of making jokes about these people
00:09:14.660 and giving the implication that they are to blame.
00:09:17.440 In many cases, they're not.
00:09:19.180 It's us, the people, who are not holding them accountable,
00:09:22.240 not holding each other accountable.
00:09:23.840 It's us people getting caught up in these petty, insignificant arguments.
00:09:28.980 That's the problem.
00:09:30.040 It's this cult-like obedience to one political party or another.
00:09:34.060 That's the problem.
00:09:35.280 Do mainstream media outlets exacerbate this problem?
00:09:38.340 Of course.
00:09:39.340 And the fact that they are now largely subsidized by the liberal governments
00:09:42.480 to the tune of millions of dollars a year,
00:09:44.460 yeah, that might have something to do with it as well.
00:09:46.920 What I would hope for Canadians is that they truly engage with politics.
00:09:51.780 Oh, sorry.
00:09:52.960 I hope that Canadians truly engage with politics in their own country.
00:09:59.360 Because that can be very challenging in Canada
00:10:01.560 when you have the CBC, which is funded by Canadian taxpayers,
00:10:06.240 focusing on American stories and American politicians,
00:10:10.000 black female politicians running for leadership in America, Kamala Harris, 0.99
00:10:14.820 instead of focusing on black female politicians running for leadership in Canada,
00:10:19.480 Leslyn Lewis.
00:10:20.540 In one week alone, the CBC had 32 different headlines
00:10:24.020 talking about Kamala Harris, the American.
00:10:26.800 In that same week, Leslyn Lewis, the Canadian,
00:10:30.320 was only mentioned three times by the CBC.
00:10:34.580 That's sad.
00:10:36.880 And that's Canada now.
00:10:38.280 How do I get out of the studio?
00:10:46.380 Where's the exit?
00:10:47.620 Where's the bathroom in here? 0.97
