00:00:00.000 Do we know which bail condition or conditions police are saying she violated?
00:00:30.000 So, we now know that the alleged breach is that one of her conditions, in addition to her not being allowed to talk about criticizing the government for COVID-19 restrictions or support in favor of the Freedom Convoy, whatever that means, and that should be troubling in its own right to anybody listening.
00:00:51.000 in addition she was not allowed to have communications with certain individuals
00:00:57.820 one of them was tom marazzo but there was a big exception which was except in the presence
00:01:03.940 of legal counsel because they've all been sued together so they need to be able to
00:01:09.240 to to speak to counsel they were invited by the commissioner of the public inquiry to get counsel
00:01:15.500 and participate in that so you can see there's a legitimate need for him them to have communication
00:01:20.300 so um at the awards dinner after you know everybody was mingling i wasn't there but
00:01:27.460 you were there and many others were um off camera the lawyers were there and someone asked to take
00:01:33.940 a picture with tamara and in her she was with tamara and tom and and and a few other key players
00:01:41.260 from from ottawa from the freedom convoy and um embracing there it is that's what in can't in
00:01:49.720 Trudeau's Canada, that's right there what gets you a Canada-wide warrant for your arrest.
00:01:59.160 Well, isn't that the truth? How you doing, everybody? Welcome to this very special episode
00:02:05.220 of House Arrest. I think Chris is going to be joining us here pretty soon. He's just doing

00:03:03.280 how that's going to all break down in the event for some reason we get a win and there's a
00:03:09.240 settlement what's going to happen to that money i think all of us uh well anyone involved in the
00:03:14.280 freedom convoy anyways knows um how that goes anytime there's money involved excuse pardon me

00:09:22.740 There is.
00:09:24.180 I know.
00:09:24.680 We are so lucky.
00:09:25.960 You are so, so lucky.
00:09:26.660 I see it every day.
00:09:27.620 I see it every time I stop.
00:09:28.980 I just stopped in Shonovan for that sub, and I met a couple people there that came up to
00:09:33.200 the truck.
00:09:34.880 Really, it's overwhelming when you're out here trucking, so it's amazing to see, and
00:09:38.300 we're very thankful for that.
00:09:40.040 Mm-hmm. I know. We've been really lucky. And even just like the crowdfund for my case, Chris, I can't believe it. It's sitting at $32,000. Like, that's amazing. That is so much support. It's absolutely amazing. And so thank you to everyone who's contributed. We're going to get into that right away. We got Marlene in from Niagara. Hi. That's one of my favorite spots in the whole wide world.
00:10:05.620 uh jerry ogee from midland ontario must be christmas channel
00:10:14.100 i don't know who that is and we got cardinals cardinals from victoria bill quebec oh bienvenue
00:10:25.780 do you even see my i got i got the flag up here the so the flags are basically the provinces
00:10:40.260 that i've lived in and i'm counting quebec because we lived there for like two and a
00:10:44.020 half months when we started our trial we were we lived at blue sea quebec about an hour and
00:10:48.580 20 minutes north so um i had to include it uh oh what i lost my uh my little bluetooth here so i
00:11:01.140 can try to pick their uh my earbuds quit so oh okay try to figure out what's going on good give
00:11:07.460 me a minute here yeah no problem you go ahead and do that i will just get started in my my little
00:11:15.700 story here so that everybody sort of knows what happened i did play that little clip at the
00:11:19.900 beginning um where you saw keith wilson and by the way um keith wilson is debating jason kenny
00:11:25.420 at edmonton tonight so we wish him well it's probably already started by now actually
00:11:29.600 so that should be pretty interesting he's um debated jason kenny tonight for i believe it's
00:11:35.360 civitas and then at the end of may he's going to be debating him in calgary so i will be at that
00:11:41.860 one to cover that one for rebel news so it should be good i had a couple of a couple people asked
00:11:47.880 me about that today asking if it was streaming and it is streaming rebel rebel will be there so
00:11:51.800 it'll be uh yeah are you excited for that i'm excited for that jason canning and keith wilson
00:11:56.320 yeah it's gonna be really interesting it'll be good i can't wait to hear the feedback from
00:12:01.020 from tonight and then just other news there's so much happening right now um of course you've got
00:12:10.020 Like Benita Peterson, a freedom fighter from Westlock, Alberta, was charged with a human rights violation for protesting the pride flag sidewalk in Westlock.
00:12:21.260 Is this where we're going right now?
00:12:22.360 You've got this guy out in B.C. that's going into parlors to try and have his genitals waxed, claiming that he's a woman.
00:12:33.980 And anyone that criticizes or critiques him, he files a human rights complaint against them.
00:12:38.600 Is this where we're headed right now?
00:12:40.020 and it's just disgusting to see the
00:12:41.860 I don't know what to do with this
00:12:43.940 you're hurting, people are getting
00:12:46.080 upset and this has got to stop eventually
00:12:48.080 I think
00:12:50.140 it is, I think woke is dead
00:12:52.180 and I think it's dying a slow
00:12:53.980 and very painful death for sure
00:12:55.640 but I think it is dying
00:12:58.000 that Jessica or whatever
00:13:00.140 the heck her name is
00:13:01.600 or it's name, I don't
00:13:04.060 even know
00:13:04.540 she just likes to sue people
00:13:07.840 like she just likes that's her 50 nits her thing you know some people like to go to movies some
00:13:12.800 people yeah to litigate what are you gonna do and then of course don't forget thanks to the justice
00:13:17.920 center for constitutional news today yeah he he he won't recuse himself from hearing the the
00:13:25.200 emergencies act you know he's he's definitely biased 100 biased this this country um yeah
00:13:34.640 crazy yes he's decided he's decided that he isn't biased and he can do whatever he's not
00:13:42.300 going to recuse himself anyways i think that is just peak it's it's the level of corruption in
00:13:48.740 this the kind of the corruption in this country right now under you know especially judicial we
00:13:53.620 we've witnessed it for the last number of years i mean if we ever decided to get into you know
00:13:57.940 we could do an episode or actually a whole series on just going through our trial and and the amount
00:14:03.020 of stuff that we witnessed during that it was uh yeah maybe we could dedicate a lot of series to
00:14:09.500 that yes we could well gosh i know you at least took a lot of notes i played games on my phone
00:14:16.260 most of the time because it was so ridiculous it was all just ridiculous just sitting through all
00:14:23.260 of that listening to the things that they were saying about us the way that they were trying to
00:14:27.580 frame us the way that they were trying to twist your videos and twist your text messages i mean
00:14:34.080 that's what they do i really i really don't understand how these people can kiss their kids
00:14:37.660 at night you know and i think you and i talked about that one day because you were really nice
00:14:42.340 to our second crown prosecutor tim and i was too at the beginning and then you know finally i
00:14:47.620 realized these people are not our friends and i think i said that to you one day like i'm not
00:14:51.060 going to be nice to him this guy's trying to throw me in jail for 10 years yeah you know don't shake
00:14:55.600 my hand and smile in the hallway and then go into a courtroom and say these things about me
00:15:03.760 you know a lot of people when we get into actually talking about the events in the trial and then
00:15:07.840 realize that you know our lawyers advised us after the crown laid their case out for how many months
00:15:13.120 you know we weren't going to put up a defense because our lawyers both of our lawyers were
00:15:16.960 pretty adamant that you know like they haven't proved anything they have a whole bunch of
00:15:20.560 circumstances every everyone that testified against us from downtown ottawa citizens never
00:15:25.120 had a personal interaction with either one of us I didn't honk a horn I had to say that to my
00:15:29.780 probation officer when we were having our conversation last week she kind of said you
00:15:34.880 know I feel like you're you're not having any remorse for your actions in Ottawa and I'm like
00:15:38.960 remorse for what I worked with you know law officials from the time we left Medicine Hat
00:15:44.800 to the time we we pulled into downtown Ottawa I worked with liaison officers for that entire time
00:15:50.620 while people were protesting on Parliament Hill I was working with liaison officers making
00:15:54.940 sure emergency lanes were open all over the city i was at every liaison officer's beck and call at
00:16:00.140 any time i remember one apartment building in downtown ottawa and the the liaison officer
00:16:05.980 nicole was her name she'd stated how you know an ambulance will ambulance will frequent this this
00:16:11.580 one apartment because it's full of senior citizens and so i can't tell you how many times we went
00:16:16.140 there to make sure that that lane was open to get in and under that building so in case an emergency
00:16:20.940 vehicle needed to get there and it was done that was what i spent my days with doing in ottawa and
00:16:25.260 people are like i didn't see chris but i was out walking around downtown working with law
00:16:29.580 enforcement so and as soon as there was a deal some sort of a deal to move forward with the
00:16:34.460 government or trying to alleviate some of the traffic i was on that one right away as well
00:16:38.460 um trying to do what we can do so i did what i could people didn't see chris like i mean you
00:16:45.100 and the road captains literally ran yourselves into the ground constantly going out there trying
00:16:51.340 to you know talk to some of the truckers about not honking their horns trying to get them to move
00:16:56.220 opening uh making sure there was an emergency lane open and a lot of the times you get emergency
00:17:01.820 lanes open we'd go to bed and wake up and truckers have come in in the night and backfilled those
00:17:06.140 spaces so then you had to go out and do it all over again and that's a lot of stuff that people
00:17:10.300 don't didn't see um and that's some of the stuff that we that never came out of the trial um i
00:17:15.900 guess well the hard part you know some of the people that are actively speaking against us
00:17:22.380 you know we're allegedly on our side during convoy were the ones that were pushing those
00:17:26.060 vehicles back into the residential areas at night after we spent the day trying to clean them up so
00:17:31.580 um and then they criticize us to this day and meanwhile they were the ones that were basically
00:17:36.140 initiating that you know in the cover of darkness so it was really felt you know betrayal now when
00:17:41.820 you think back because they were working against us from day one and little did we know it but
00:17:46.620 yeah that's right richie rich says you don't have to show remorse for anything and certainly not to
00:17:54.180 a po officer i'm really lucky i have a great po officer um she's very fair-minded i i'm i feel
00:18:01.240 like I'm really lucky. Dennis says, what are you going to do with all that support? I bet
00:18:08.880 nothing. You are stars now. Chris, we're stars. Do you feel like a star? And don't have to do
00:18:16.020 anything. No, I just have to serve an 18-month sentence for house arrest, completed 100 hours
00:18:23.160 of community service. I'll talk and no action with no results. That's pretty funny, Chris. Have
00:18:28.800 we taken any action gotten any results anything maybe in the last four years change in the world
00:18:33.920 that you know taking a lot of shit and i think uh you know go back and listen to dr christian's
00:18:39.640 interview last night and to hear it in dr christian's words on how we did have an effect
00:18:44.480 on a lot of people there's one vehicle going by yeah sorry about that my earbuds pick up a lot
00:18:52.360 of background noise so as i'm busy dusting my dash right now yeah exactly i just have to give
00:18:57.800 a shout out to this lovely lady roxanne i even made a note when i saw your name come up nice to
00:19:02.560 see you here roxanne i hope you're doing awesome uh roxanne is in north bay if i'm not mistaken i
00:19:07.920 met her after i was released from prison on my breach on the way home afterwards i think that
00:19:14.940 was it um it was one time anyways gosh only knows goodness only knows all right well i'm gonna all
00:19:24.020 i'll get into this um is it chris yeah but you're under house arrest yes we are under house arrest
00:19:32.100 um so the circumstances surrounding my breach well maybe i should just go over the
00:19:35.940 uh give send go here first let's see if i can bring it up and i can show you the campaign
00:19:45.060 there we go um so i'll bring this up and then we can just i'll go through it i'll read the campaign
00:19:54.020 over four years have passed since my participation in the most peaceful and polite protest of all
00:19:58.900 time the canadian freedom convoy it's been over four years since chris barber and i were arrested
00:20:04.020 on the streets of ottawa mere days following the unconstitutional and unlawful invocation of the
00:20:10.260 emergencies act by the liberal government the invocation saw bank accounts frozen insurance
00:20:15.060 policies suspended the forceful violent removal removal of peaceful canadians and truckers and
00:20:20.420 supporters arrested for our part chris and i endured the longest mischief trial in the history
00:20:25.540 of the commonwealth that's crazy eh chris the crown prosecutor made repeated attempts to charge
00:20:30.820 me with a breach of conditions violation and remanded to custody until trial and on one
00:20:35.940 occasion he was successful chris and i were convicted on april of 2025 of mischief and
00:20:42.500 sentenced october 7th to 18 months of house arrest granted some time served my sentence will conclude
00:20:48.340 on january 21st 2027. i've secured the services of a civil litigation lawyer from toronto-based
00:20:55.060 loopster and nixon and have launched a lawsuit against the ottawa police service the ottawa
00:20:59.620 police services board oh nice birds uh the attorney general of ontario the original
00:21:05.140 crown prosecutor on our file the two ottawa police services detectives that were on our
00:21:11.540 mystic case and his majesty the king in right of ontario for malicious prosecution and negligent
00:21:18.100 investigation my goal is to ensure transparency accountability and justice are brought to those
00:21:24.020 involved in decisions and actions leading to the unprecedented treatment i was subjected to
00:21:29.940 to that so that will never happen to another canadian again for background which is what
00:21:35.940 we'll start talking about now on june 16th of 2022 after successful bail variation allowing
00:21:40.900 me to go back to ontario remember i was banned from ontario in the beginning
00:21:45.860 I don't know if you were ever banned from Ontario, but I was actually banned from the province of Ontario.
00:21:51.080 I attended the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms George Jonas Freedom Award dinner in Toronto,
00:21:56.480 and I had the honour of being the recipient of that award in 2022.
00:22:00.520 A group photo was taken as we were exiting the event, which included Tom Mirazzo.
00:22:05.320 My conditions explicitly stated I was allowed to communicate with him in the presence of counsel.
00:22:10.680 Despite being surrounded by lawyers, some of whom were representing both me and Tom,
00:22:14.900 the photo was sent to the crown prosecutor's office in ottawa any guesses who did that
00:22:20.800 the crown responded by issuing a canada-wide warrant for my oh you can't you can't just move
00:22:25.740 on to that in his part uh the part of his office or by the homicide detectives assigned to our
00:22:32.980 mischief case a phone call of inquiry was not even made to my criminal defense lawyer lawrence
00:22:38.360 greenspawn on june 27th of 2022 while commuting home from work i was pulled over by the medicine
00:22:44.140 at police service a block from my home i assumed it was a random stop and questioned whether i'd
00:22:49.180 been speeding on the highway as i handed the young officer my license registration and insurance he
00:22:54.060 informed me that he was arresting me on a canada wide arrest warrant and i laughed honestly i
00:23:00.380 laughed because i i was like you've got to be kidding this there's this is how can that even
00:23:04.780 pardon me i laughed honestly and naively it seemed so surreal that i couldn't it couldn't
00:23:13.840 possibly be true for my participation in the freedom convoy i was facing a non-violent mischief
00:23:19.220 charge mischief is a summary offense in canada generally dealt with through fines or probation
00:23:25.260 especially for a first-time offender in a move reserved for violent murderers sexual offenders
00:23:31.220 and drug traffickers the ottawa crown prosecutor issued a canada-wide warrant for my arrest the
00:23:35.860 first of its kind unprecedented for allegations of breach of conditions for a mischief charge
00:23:42.020 i was taken into custody flown back to ottawa in leg shackles by two ottawa police police service
00:23:47.460 homicide detectives who clearly didn't have anything to do like i don't know investigate
00:23:52.980 homicides um i was denied bail by a justice of the peace held in remand for 30 days and as a result
00:23:59.380 i lost my job which i've loved and i was very good at um time with my family my grandchildren
00:24:05.780 and potentially facing over a year in pre-trial custody if the crown had had its way finally a
00:24:11.460 superior court judge released me after finding errors in the justice's ruling himself delivering
00:24:16.500 a scathing decision noting the justices and prosecutors behavior and famously ordered the
00:24:22.660 bailiff to take those shackles off you were what like are you like five what are you four foot 11
00:24:31.700 or something like that four foot ten i'm i'm five feet zero 105 pounds yeah yeah what was i going to
00:24:40.820 do in shackles just yeah in shackles like it he was disgusted judge johnson was the last one that
00:24:49.780 i had and that was in superior court and he was absolutely disgusted that they had shackles on me
00:24:55.300 and i remember because when i left the prisoner's box to go up and be cross-examined um you know of
00:25:01.620 course i'm walking and they're like chink chink chink and he wouldn't he just looked i kind of
00:25:06.420 glanced up and i just saw him look down and the look on his face was one of utter disgust
00:25:10.900 that's exactly it like leg shaffled for mischief what am i gonna do like jump over all the pews
00:25:16.420 and like run out like the place is crawling with you know um guards and guards and police officers
00:25:24.420 for peace sake oh so but but what about the homicide investigators well yeah i know that's
00:25:32.180 the thing that's exactly it um it's it's it's ridiculous and so what happened with the breach
00:25:40.580 was oh sorry i'm gonna get rid of that there we go um to go back even further than that particular
00:25:51.940 time with tom it was this pendant so in may the month before the george jonas freedom award dinner
00:26:01.460 in ontario we had to go to court to apply for a bail variation to allow me to go to ontario
00:26:09.220 because i was banned and and we were successful in that variation order uh variation change and
00:26:15.060 that's when they changed it to i was not just not allowed in the red zone in ottawa i was allowed
00:26:20.740 everywhere else in ontario but it went down to the red zone in ottawa um but during that trial
00:26:26.980 moiz karimji again tried to have me incarcerated over this pendant and the reason why was because
00:26:35.940 a lady from thailand over the pandemic she was a canadian um stuck in thailand hadn't seen her
00:26:41.220 kids for two years and she made jewelry and so she made she designed these and i don't know if
00:26:46.580 you can't really see them they're really quite nice but they have a picture of a truck on it
00:26:50.500 it says freedom canada and then there is a canadian flag on the back so she sent me this
00:26:55.460 lovely email she said you know i want to um you're like my brand ambassador um i'm gonna donate you
00:27:02.100 know a certain percentage of this to the truckers can i put it on social media and she left her
00:27:08.020 number or an email address i can't remember so i called i sent her a message and i said thank you
00:27:12.340 very much no i'd emailed her that's what it was because how i how that came about was i found the
00:27:17.060 email so i emailed her back and i said thank you very much i absolutely love it i'm never going to
00:27:21.940 take it off um as far as you know posting it on social media um one of i wasn't allowed on social
00:27:28.580 media for two years i wasn't even allowed to tell somebody they could post something on my behalf
00:27:32.660 on social media for two years um so i emailed her back and i said as far as you know posting
00:27:38.260 that photo on social media i can't really advise you because i'm not really allowed to um i said
00:27:44.580 i can tell you that other people have taken photos of me and posted them on social media but i can't
00:27:49.060 say that you can and i can't say that you can't so she posted that photo of me um wearing this
00:27:56.180 pendant and at the bottom of it she's posted with permission so in one simple bail variation hearing
00:28:03.380 to go and have this variation overturned we ended up having an entirely new bail hearing
00:28:10.500 because boys karimji wanted to throw me back in jail over that photo because she said at the
00:28:15.140 bottom it was posted with permission and so i told him that wasn't the case obviously i didn't give
00:28:21.140 her permission we had this whole new bail hearing um again where he wanted to be thrown back in
00:28:26.020 jail to the beginning of the trial and um anyways that's the that's the hearing where he told the
00:28:32.820 judge because this was a superior court judge just judge kevin johnson i believe his name was
00:28:38.180 kevin phillips sorry um karim she told him to recuse himself from from the proceedings because
00:28:46.100 because he wasn't just going along with everything he said.
00:28:49.460 I'm sitting there, and this wasn't Zoom, because I was at work, actually.
00:28:52.220 I got to do this hearing from my office.
00:28:55.380 Yeah, I couldn't believe it.
00:28:57.600 Here's a Crown prosecutor telling the judge that he should recuse himself,
00:29:00.700 and that's when the judge basically told him to go have a timeout.
00:29:03.540 It was awesome.
00:29:05.300 Anyways, he ended up losing.
00:29:07.200 I didn't go back to jail, but that's going to come into play later.
00:29:11.100 So fast forward to a month.
00:29:12.740 I've got permission to go.
00:29:13.920 we show up at the George Jonas Stratum Awards dinner in Toronto and Thomas O'Connor came with
00:29:19.020 us and so we walk in the door and the first thing Thomas O'Connor sees is Tom Marazzo
00:29:27.380 and he starts freaking out he's like oh my god he can't be here you can't be here and he goes I'm
00:29:33.980 gonna go talk to John Carpe so he went and talked to John Carpe and John's like no no it's fine
00:29:37.960 there's lawyers here all night I'm gonna be with Tamara we're sitting at the same table all the
00:29:43.500 evening everything's okay so we did our little we did our mingling and and whatever and then we went
00:29:50.640 down to go have supper and as i was walking towards the table i noticed that tom was seated
00:29:54.800 at the same table as me and i was like well there's no way there could be anything wrong
00:29:59.260 they're not going to stick me at the same table with tom if they think there's going to be something
00:30:03.060 bad happen right um john carpe was sitting seated at our table diane magus was seated um at the
00:30:10.240 table next to us all of our jccf we were surrounded by lawyers and um anyways then at the end of the
00:30:18.420 evening uh as we were leaving somebody suggested that we take a photo and thomas and i were just
00:30:24.940 like oh i don't know um and then i said well let's take it this will just be for our memory this is
00:30:31.240 just for us just to remember you know this very special night and so we took the photo and the
00:30:37.660 next morning i woke up and saw it on social media and that's how that went so how did it get from
00:30:46.140 social media to karimji i think her name was rudy relton wasn't it yeah does it remember that rhymes
00:30:53.360 with something like that yeah um anyways um so i i called my lawyer obviously i called my surety
00:31:01.620 and let her know exactly what was going on because i was like oh here we go already the comments
00:31:06.220 we're on it right so two weeks go by and i'm on my way home from work on a beautiful sunday
00:31:13.060 afternoon that that weekend we had just played um at the whistle stop actually and we were getting
00:31:18.380 ready to go back and play for canada day the following weekend and i was on my way home and
00:31:23.600 i got pulled over and i didn't see it at the time but as we left i realized there was a whole
00:31:29.840 takedown there was like cops staked out at every intersection on the way to my house i didn't
00:31:35.020 realize how yeah it was crazy and so anyways i get pulled over i hand this guy you know my
00:31:42.000 license and registration just like it says in my thing i'm like i'm like here you go i got it all
00:31:46.140 ready for you and he's like well i need to let you know then i you know i need to place you under
00:31:50.660 arrest there's a canada wide warrant for arrest and i'm like what are you kidding me and he's like
00:31:55.640 no and you know he was so young like he was just so young i felt bad for him honestly um because i
00:32:01.060 said uh what's your name and he told me i said cory or something like i'm expecting to say officer
00:32:06.100 so and so and he's like cody or whatever his name was um so hi debbie from taber i just gotta say
00:32:13.540 hi to debbie there um so pardon me anyways i had my truck there obviously i was literally a block
00:32:25.460 from my house i could have picked up a stone threw it across the back alley and hit hit my house
00:32:29.860 so i put my my cell phone into the truck was going to get out and get everything leave everything in
00:32:35.720 there and then i realized i didn't have anybody's phone numbers right nobody's phone numbers there
00:32:40.840 was a time chris when i could have told you every single employee's number at slumber j or uh baker
00:32:46.520 hughes all the service guys all the tank haulers all those days are long gone i mean you just push
00:32:53.260 push somebody's face on your phone now and so i asked him if i could go back to the truck and get
00:32:58.000 some numbers he's like absolutely so he did let me go back in i found some paper wrote out some
00:33:02.080 numbers sent duane a text said i'm being arrested this is where the truck is i'll leave the keys in
00:33:08.260 it and that was it um i was handcuffed and taken down to the police station and i spent two nights
00:33:16.180 there and they were really good to me at the remand center i think i told you that before
00:33:20.860 other than the staff sergeant um because i was in cells basically in cells just like at the ottawa
00:33:26.280 police services where you just have like a cement slab and you know and he wouldn't give me my
00:33:31.240 glasses i finally asked the staff sergeant for my glasses and he's like well these are freshly
00:33:36.540 painted i what you what if you decide to scratch up the walls i'm like with my glasses like
00:33:43.620 and for mischief for mischief but anyways um the rest of the rest they were really really
00:33:51.620 really awesome uh the ladies there i stayed there for i was there for two nights and then they
00:33:56.500 arranged to get me back to ottawa of course and um so many wonderful things happened out of that
00:34:04.740 experience though and some of them i hope i can share here tonight i don't want to be too long
00:34:08.740 winded but some of them that i hope that i can share um as we were leaving to get ready to go
00:34:16.420 the sheriffs were going to take me to basano to meet the calgary sheriffs for the transfer to the
00:34:20.420 airport and the remand center had let me take a book with me which which i never saw again until
00:34:26.660 the very end because they don't really that was nice of them to do that and i was sitting there
00:34:30.580 you know with my handcuffs or whatever and my leg shackles i have this book and this officer comes
00:34:36.500 over to me and he has tears in his eyes and he grabs my book and he pretends that he's looking
00:34:43.060 at my book and he says to me i just want to thank you for everything that you did for my family and
00:34:47.700 and all the sacrifices that you've made and you know we were both we were both crying a little
00:34:53.200 bit it was quite emotional um and I ran into him again not that long ago at an event here that I
00:34:59.160 was covering and this gentleman what I could see him looking at me and I recognized him and I knew
00:35:03.660 it and as soon as he walked up to me he said hi Tamara my name is so-and-so and I work at
00:35:09.380 the remand and I was like I know exactly who you are and I will never forget every single word you
00:35:13.820 said to me and he couldn't believe it couldn't believe it so um anyways we're still trying to
00:35:20.780 figure out what the heck is going on still completely dumbfounded that a canada wide
00:35:25.180 arrest warrant has been issued for my arrest unprecedented um over all this nonsense
00:35:32.060 and steve richardson you're being a loser get out of here oh steve's a little triggered bait he's
00:35:39.900 been sending me messages all day long he is so deranged it's unbelievable this guy is i know i
00:35:45.420 was having fun with him on messenger he was saying some pretty horrible things so yeah he's he's a
00:35:52.140 muppet steve richards crawl up from behind your behind your keyboard there coward come on
00:36:00.220 um so anyways uh they put me into the transport we're driving to cal or to bassano to the rcmp
00:36:08.140 detachment there and it was so funny because the two sheriffs that took me especially the driver
00:36:12.780 was so curious like he's asking me all these questions but convoy he wants to know this he
00:36:18.220 wants to know that and of course you know we're told don't talk to these people because everything
00:36:23.100 you say can and will be held used against you in a court of law but i mean there was nothing
00:36:26.700 harmless and it was good um and then when we got to passano um i asked if i could use the washroom
00:36:35.260 and the one of the officers absolutely took me inside took my handcuffs off let me use the
00:36:40.700 washroom and as we're walking back to the cop to the uh cruiser and i was getting ready to hop into
00:36:47.100 the calgary one this guy says to me he said don't let them break you tamara and i said i won't he
00:36:54.620 said stay strong and i said i won't i won't and stuff like that happened you know all the time
00:37:01.020 um the the calgary sheriffs weren't quite so pleasant that was a little bit more of a quieter
00:37:06.880 drive but uh then we get to that then we get to the airport we get to the calgary airport
00:37:11.880 and somebody goes to get a wheelchair for me so they bring this wheelchair out i sit in the
00:37:18.400 wheelchair i've got shackles on my ankles handcuffs on and they proceed to wheel me to the cells that
00:37:27.740 in the airport now up until then i didn't really realize there was cells in the airports but i
00:37:31.780 guess it does make sense they're gonna have to have something so and then i sat there and just
00:37:36.840 waited for benson and hassan to come and i so i was like doing squats and doing push-ups and just
00:37:45.000 you know exercises just to keep busy and detective benson pokes his head in and he's like hey how's
00:37:50.960 it going and i said good um really good he goes we're gonna just got some stuff to do and we'll
00:37:56.800 be out of here and i said that's fine and then he starts to close the door and he opens the door and
00:38:01.060 he goes what you're going to have to wear a mask on the plane you're not going to give us any hassle
00:38:04.380 are you and i said of course not i said i want this to go just as smoothly as you do you know
00:38:09.820 and um so when time came to board the plane they put me back in my wheelchair and um they
00:38:17.580 they took my handcuffs off though um sergeant hassan said to help preserve my dignity which
00:38:23.320 i thought was quite nice you're just wheeling me through you're just wheeling me through the
00:38:27.160 airport in leg shackles but okay thanks for thinking about my feelings it's like you're
00:38:33.720 a danger to society wide warrant but thanks for worried about worrying about my feelings
00:38:40.920 so and then anyways of course you know we get to ottawa uh i'm taken back to the remand center
00:38:47.160 denied bail um so this was on a monday i think we didn't get in front of the judge until later
00:38:54.260 that week and it wasn't even a judge it was a justice of the peace justice of the peace harris
00:39:00.100 paul harris do you know what you have to do to become a justice of the peace in canada chris
00:39:04.480 probably um yeah nothing right do you know how much legal experience you need to become a justice
00:39:14.480 of the peace in canada chris you can marry people that's about all my experiences you know and then
00:39:22.800 now they have them sitting in chairs you know tell me that's not set up hey um yeah he you just have
00:39:30.320 to have um generally some government work experience and volunteer do some volunteer work paul harris
00:39:37.280 was a procurement officer for parks canada before he became a justice of the peace
00:39:41.280 so when we went into that first bail hearing i should get my notes out i kept a diary of this
00:39:46.720 honestly so it's on my x and sub stack i think um my phone like yeah you go ahead and do what
00:39:55.160 you gotta do i hope i'm not boring everybody to tears here i'm just trying to explain the story
00:39:59.220 so anyways no this is i'm gonna feed zippy and if i crack my bag of drug food then it's gonna be
00:40:05.000 long yeah go ahead um and so throughout this hearing this bail hearing um i actually thought
00:40:14.600 you know a lot of justice harris's questions were good and i i see i thought he seemed
00:40:19.960 you know just like a normal judge i guess whatever that means and um and uh
00:40:28.280 i thought everything went good um but of course you know it was friday he wasn't ready to render
00:40:33.320 his decision it was also a long weekend don't forget because it was canada day long weekend
00:40:37.160 and um basically he said yeah you know we'll we'll just be i'll come back with my decision
00:40:43.240 sometime next week basically saying she's done this much time in jail it's not going to hurt
00:40:47.080 her to sit in there a little bit longer which is which is also you know that doesn't happen
00:40:52.520 our our system is set up to design in such a way designed so that you don't go to jail unless it's
00:40:59.720 absolutely necessary unless you are absolutely a danger to society and oh hi zippy you know what
00:41:07.860 I mean judges typically don't like to put people in jail so I went back to the revamp center and
00:41:14.860 um and there was lots going on there too I mean there was so much that happened in that whole
00:41:19.460 month in prison i can't even tell you i was um um in cells with a lady that um she was a
00:41:30.660 schizophrenic she was a drug addict she was six months pregnant um having episodes like wicked
00:41:37.500 episodes and um the second day that we were there actually counted a day july 1st they put another
00:41:44.160 girl in our cell with us so she had a mat and she slept on the floor because the cells were
00:41:50.220 overcrowded so normally two people per cell and they had three people in one cell you included
00:41:57.320 yes exactly so and so i mean this pregnant lady couldn't even walk around or move or anything i
00:42:03.660 mean i was working out every day in there and i ended up just with this little four by four space
00:42:07.920 in front of the toilet um to work out in and and this other lady was also a schizophrenic and a
00:42:15.120 drug addict and she she wouldn't throw her garbage out like after you eat about 20 minutes after you
00:42:21.120 eat they come around and you put your garbage through the little thing and they take it
00:42:24.800 and um she would keep her garbage because she thought she was getting messages and good energy
00:42:30.480 from it did you fear for your life at any time when you were in there um no i wouldn't i didn't
00:42:38.960 fear for my life i mean there was one instance where this is going to be a little bit graphic
00:42:43.920 i'm going to try to not i'll try to not make it so graphic christy and i had to go to court um
00:42:50.880 it must have been it was for the day that when i got the judge's decision that he was denying me
00:42:55.360 bail because i was a danger to society um the my release would put the administration of justice
00:43:03.040 into disrepute he likened my charges to firearms and said i was going to serve 10 years in a prison
00:43:10.800 uh yeah like when i walked in for his decision he he just he made me stand up while he read
00:43:16.000 out my charges like they do on tv that tells you how much experience he has like that's we've never
00:43:21.120 had to do that no um but christy and i so when you leave when you leave remand and go to court
00:43:28.320 if you if they release you you're released you don't go back and collect your things right that
00:43:32.640 that are in your cell or in your dorms um so anyways christy and i had court the same day
00:43:40.720 and so we've gone to court and we came back they hung on to christy longer and keep in mind every
00:43:45.760 time we come back we have to be strip searched like keep your mask on take off all your clothes
00:43:52.320 you know hands up open your mouth lift up your head lift up your breasts squat down and cough
00:43:59.600 every single time that we left yeah but you have to have your mask on you definitely had to have
00:44:06.720 your mask on because you wouldn't want to like spread any germs or whatever even though you're
00:44:11.440 whatever anyhow uh so so anyways i got that i got back to myself before christy did and um
00:44:21.040 this is awkward sorry this is really awkward but i walked into cells or you know i was put
00:44:27.280 back into my cells and uh air jean is talking about um feeling aroused because her because of
00:44:35.460 her pregnancy hormones um because I of course walked in and I went over and I gave her a big
00:44:41.860 hug you know hey you know I didn't get to go home obviously but I was like hey I'm back and she's
00:44:46.200 like hey and like she kind of grabbed me I was like oh my god um I'm a grandmother and this is
00:44:53.380 not cool and so thankfully um right at that moment they they brought Christy back in because she said
00:44:59.920 because well what she said to me I'm not going to repeat it but it was alluding to something that
00:45:04.020 she was going to do to me if christy wasn't coming back to herself oh yeah so i saw some nasty fights
00:45:13.680 in there um but you know for the most part it was it was there were some good people in there there
00:45:20.040 were some really good people in there and we've talked about this before you know a lot of these
00:45:24.380 ladies that i was in prison with are drug addicts they're prostitutes they're homeless um they don't
00:45:30.300 have anywhere else to go they literally don't have anywhere else to go so they're charged with things
00:45:37.100 other than mischief remember that this is the whole point of this this whole lawsuit right now
00:45:42.240 is the stuff that they did to you for mischief charges yeah like going back to detective benson
00:45:50.100 i i detective benson i actually want to he said that one of these days every year we're back in
00:45:55.560 ottawa i'm buying you a beer and of course diane i guess my lawyer was it was within earshot so she
00:46:01.340 said not without me sitting with you and we all giggled but you know i i would like to go have
00:46:06.620 a beer with chris to find out his mindset into taking away the time from murder charges like
00:46:14.940 investigating homicides in ottawa to then being full-time um prosecuting a mischief case and
00:46:23.340 high profile and no he'll never be honest with you that's the thing and he can't be because he's
00:46:28.840 he's he's he's assigned to your case and you know so i mean you can and and obviously you
00:46:36.640 got you could you chris you could sit and have a conversation with him you're not going to say
00:46:39.720 anything that could put you in trouble because we didn't do anything to put us in trouble but
00:46:44.440 i'm sure he'd love to have a coffee with us but you know this guy tried to this guy wants us in
00:46:51.200 jail for a decade right so these people are not your friend and even sergeant he was very kind to
00:47:00.000 me he was great to me he's always been great to me um and i will smile at him and wish him a good
00:47:05.820 morning he's never done anything to me um other than arrest me to take me to ottawa but um you
00:47:13.560 know what i'm saying but i mean i still know that he's not my friend i'm not going to go have a beer
00:47:17.460 coffee with with them that's for sure but i know what you mean it would be like it would be nice
00:47:21.440 to know you know what a homicide detective assigned to a mischief thinks about that like i
00:47:27.400 always swore like he either really pissed somebody off or or they were really wanting to nail us to
00:47:32.740 the cross right oh they were wanting to nail us to the cross you can see that just with how
00:47:37.400 vindictive they are and how vindictive they are continuing to be you know with all the appeals
00:47:42.520 in place right now yeah exactly exactly so eventually anyways um obviously i spent 30
00:47:50.320 days in jail and i finally did uh receive bail and i have to say that just judge johnston's
00:47:57.820 um well this is a great question tamara hang on i want to bring it up did you find the people in
00:48:06.180 jail with you were supportive when they learned who you were and why you were there thank you for
00:48:11.700 the question nancy uh the first time um well the first time i was in solitary confinement for a few
00:48:18.620 days and then i was put in cells with another tamara um i've met more tamaras in jail than i
00:48:24.600 have anywhere else if i'm being honest um anyways i was in sales with her and then i went to dorms
00:48:30.300 and i remember because this was just after the convoy so there was still a lot of news happening
00:48:34.520 um and who was it that came on oh they were something had come on about convoy and about
00:48:41.640 me and i heard this group of girls sitting at the table talking and they're like
00:48:44.840 yeah and i heard i heard her boyfriend flew out on a private jet so then i realized they were
00:48:53.000 talking about me um so and they kind of knew who i was and actually there was two girls in there
00:48:59.100 that had been at the convoy and they were huge hugely supportive um one of them had been down
00:49:04.740 there one of them had got picked up on another warrant at a canadian tire while she was there
00:49:08.320 buying jerry cans and supplies to take up to the truckers um she was apprehended and brought in
00:49:13.820 there so anyways so some of them did and actually on the breach um when i was there on the breach
00:49:19.900 the doctor that came to see me um when i got there the second time was the first one that i saw the
00:49:27.020 first time and he he's like you again i didn't think i'd see you back here and i'm like yeah
00:49:32.900 i don't know i said hopefully i'm not here long and he's like this is a witch hunt literally 100
00:49:39.760 let's see hang on um question who is funding their appeal if it's the tax it is the taxpayers
00:49:48.200 michelle the taxpayers of ontario are funding that appeal yep you bet it is estimated 15 million now
00:49:55.800 15 million i was estimated yeah about 20 million dollars it cost the ontario taxpayer to try
00:50:01.900 chris and tamara for the two years the 60 days in trial you know and that's what they've tried
00:50:07.240 to do they've tried to break us mentally physically spiritually financially and uh
00:50:12.120 well guess what we're still here aren't we yeah yeah we are well and that's one thing that i think
00:50:18.880 is so important about this case chris i mean and you and i and the others talk about this lots but
00:50:24.920 we have to suck up and suck up and suck up and you're in trial and you can't
00:50:29.440 talk and you're dealing with this and you can't talk about that.
00:50:32.380 These people are saying horrible things about you,
00:50:34.480 but you can't talk about that.
00:50:36.540 And so finally I feel, you know,
00:50:38.360 with this lawsuit is an opportunity for us to push back a little bit,
00:50:42.720 just a little bit.
00:50:44.260 I mean, how they treated us, how they treated other Canadians.
00:50:47.480 I mean, you can't just do that.
00:50:49.440 You can't just issue a Canada wide warrant because you woke up and you feel
00:50:53.180 like it you know for like there where's the justification and the thing is is that all the
00:50:59.100 checks and balance and balances that are in place to prevent stuff like that malicious prosecution
00:51:04.060 from happening were completely ignored and so so so this video so they get this photo of me
00:51:11.900 uh nobody called me to even ask what happened nobody contacted the justice center to ask what
00:51:17.900 happened. Nobody contacted my lawyer to ask what happened. There was no investigation done. They
00:51:24.380 just issued a warrant, come and arrested me and threw me back in jail, flew me back to Ottawa,
00:51:28.700 threw me back in jail. And even after that, when we were at the first bail hearing, Chris Benson
00:51:34.540 had to testify, of course, and he gets on the stand and we find out he doesn't know who a single
00:51:39.580 person in that picture is. My surety did more investigation into that photo and can tell you
00:51:47.100 the names and occupations probably the email addresses phone numbers and mailing addresses
00:51:52.700 of everybody in that photo but the detective benson only knew who me and tom were
00:51:59.580 so there was no investigation and then at that point the crown prosecutor's job is to say
00:52:05.340 there's nothing here this is you know they they can only proceed prosecutors can only proceed
00:52:12.460 um if they feel that they have a winnable case like you can't proceed with the case if you think
00:52:16.940 it's not if you're not going to beat it it's just a waste of time right yep so but that all those
00:52:24.540 fail safes were bypassed in the last number of years especially from the ontario the the attorney
00:52:30.380 general's office the ottawa crown's office um for moise karimji the lead crown prosecutor that did
00:52:36.700 why did he focus so solely on you his focus was so thick on you and what was his reward for all
00:52:43.180 this afterwards he got a he got a promotion in the in the crown's office in ottawa a promotion
00:52:48.060 for being this guy this is the same crown prosecutor i want to remind people too that had
00:52:53.500 4200 pages of my private cell phone messages and mysteriously got handed to greg glenn mcgregor with
00:53:00.860 ctv news on a thursday of a long weekend on a thumb drive just to make it super convenient on
00:53:07.580 a thumb turn yep 4200 pages those are conversations with my parents and my customers
00:53:15.020 well at my hearing at the bail hearing where i was released is where our friend thomas saw these
00:53:20.460 guys standing in a corner um so moise karimji detective benson and glenn mcgregor were all
00:53:26.140 standing huddling whispering at a corner giggling like school girls talking about their baseball
00:53:31.180 team and going voting together so i mean you know it's a community it's a community there that's why
00:53:38.300 i had to get a lawyer that wasn't from ottawa too because it is a community there you know they work
00:53:42.780 together um the courthouse would be like working at a hospital like it's just an ecosystem you know
00:53:48.540 everyone knows everyone they're working together even if they're working against each other um
00:53:53.500 um so yeah and so and even just to be denied bail like nobody goes for 50 days on a mischief
00:54:01.500 especially if you have no criminal history no criminal record um but you're right like that
00:54:07.100 for my first introduction to the criminal justice system moise karimji was probably one of the most
00:54:14.220 unprofessional unhinged men i've ever met now let's not forget chris last year at this time
00:54:22.380 when we were out in ottawa for our conviction in april um there was five other people that had
00:54:30.140 been charged with the same crimes same charges as us at a pro-palestinian protest in ottawa
00:54:36.380 the cops had picked these five people up laid these charges on them and moise karimji stayed
00:54:42.620 the molly dropped them all on the condition that they write a letter of apology and donate to a
00:54:47.580 charity and i was never given that option you were never as a matter of fact they wanted us
00:54:56.940 they tried to put me in jail that first year every time they turned around they were trying
00:55:01.020 to throw me in jail and they would have done the same to you and not just throw me in jail they
00:55:05.260 he wanted me in jail until our trial started like full pre-trial incarceration or mischief mischief
00:55:14.780 yes so thank you guys if you have any questions please pop them in the chat unless they're
00:55:23.660 ridiculous um yeah exactly steve you're right that's exactly right they knew you'd speak the
00:55:30.940 truth yeah well and as a matter of fact okay that sort of brings me back to how this this
00:55:36.620 breach charge got stayed so going back to the story about my pendant um just before our trial
00:55:43.500 started I was going through a whole bunch of old emails and I came across my email to that lady
00:55:49.460 where I specifically was saying you know I can't advise you what to do I can't tell you to put this
00:55:54.740 on social media or not and so I was I sent it to Lawrence immediately because I said this proves
00:56:00.160 that I was telling the truth because we're in this bail hearing and Moyes Karimji is accusing
00:56:05.040 me of being a liar like I was always such a liar you're such a liar you're lying you're not telling
00:56:09.620 the truth right over this pendant and i so i produced that email and a few days later the
00:56:16.760 mischief charge was dropped or not long after that anyways oh sorry the breach charge was dropped i
00:56:21.800 proved that i was telling the truth you know so 30 days in jail over that a lost job uh lost wages
00:56:31.520 you know just the the experience itself and again like i said it's this isn't even about me because
00:56:37.980 i could have just just just walked away and sucked up yet another one but we cannot have the justice
00:56:44.540 system and um the law enforcement agencies used as a political tool because you don't like the
00:56:52.300 way somebody thinks or you don't like how somebody believes there was still no evidence against
00:56:57.500 either one of us that we committed a mischief we were convicted of mischief because of a previous
00:57:03.340 conviction where the judge said it was a mass mischief and the accused was a party or aided
00:57:10.860 and abetted a mass mischief even that guy didn't have what didn't commit any mischief and the judge
00:57:16.460 even said it while you didn't commit mischief you were participating in a mass mischief so here we
00:57:22.220 are now in 2025 just making up making it up what's a mass mischief i never heard of a mass mischief
00:57:29.820 before it's just it's just opposites you know just just imagine this roles reverse a conservative
00:57:37.680 government is in power the left is losing their mind because they don't like the direction of
00:57:41.780 the country under the conservative government the case law is now set so if you go to ottawa
00:57:46.320 to protest that conservative government and you have a vindictive dipshit government like we do
00:57:51.880 under the liberals here or vice versa when it comes to conservatives they can use this same
00:57:56.620 case law against you in the future the same way they did against us your uh you know your woke
00:58:03.120 ism protests be careful it's a slippery slope they used us as the case law they can do it in
00:58:08.120 the future now not saying it's going to happen but my gosh the double standard in this country
00:58:13.280 is disgusting the amount of stories that you and i can tell for the rest of our lives of all the
00:58:18.660 all the chaos that's been in our lives over the last four years i get death threats because of
00:58:23.880 what the media and the government and the crown's office have put in people's minds over the person
00:58:28.320 that i am if you're in a if you're in a restaurant with me i would buy you supper um that's the kind
00:58:33.880 of guy i am as long as you're a decent civil human being and not a liberal scumbag that's uh you know
00:58:38.440 out there trolling on the internet like steven that's right and this is a great point by cassandra
00:58:45.220 what about tony spending uh for 1 444 days in jail absolutely i mean how is that even possible
00:58:52.980 in today's day and age you know no hearings no nothing just remant here i mean i hope i hope
00:59:00.640 and pray that those boys will also launch some lawsuits i certainly hope they do chris carver
00:59:07.480 jerry uh you get you get the four coots boys but you also have the three coots boys you know
00:59:14.540 marco vendenhugen boss is literally sitting in remand as we speak right now serving his sentence
00:59:19.880 for mass, mass mischief.
00:59:21.840 Mark Levin and Hugo Boss.
00:59:23.280 He lost his appeal.
00:59:24.480 They wouldn't even hear it.
00:59:25.520 So back into jail you go.
00:59:26.860 This is a Christian family man
00:59:29.200 from the Lethbridge-Nobleford area,
00:59:31.100 I believe, or Fort McLeod.
00:59:32.220 Former councillor.
00:59:34.040 Yeah, still former councillor.
00:59:35.760 Who'd had enough of the mandates?
00:59:37.680 The lengths of this government
00:59:39.060 will go to to persecute anyone
00:59:40.780 that dares to stand against them.
00:59:43.240 We have other people
00:59:44.400 in other countries right now
00:59:45.720 picking up the story of Canada
00:59:47.700 and just how far it's,
00:59:49.880 left um but we don't some people in this country don't even see it like you're some of these people
00:59:58.020 out here are so heavily conditioned and brainwashed to believe anything that the government or the
01:00:01.520 media tells them and that's they're angry about it if you try and tell them anything else it's
01:00:05.720 disgusting here's a comment you're like chris but if belton and kong were the leaders why are you
01:00:13.160 the targets. You can have them. Yeah, exactly. You can have them. Anyone who wants to follow
01:00:21.460 that, go right ahead. There's so many things that happened, you know, with all of these
01:00:27.100 cases, the Coots cases, our cases, all of the Freedom Convoy cases where, you know,
01:00:32.140 I look back at some of the hearings and stuff that I sat in, the amount of times I was cross
01:00:36.720 examined by these people and you know they were literally like rabid dogs to come after us the
01:00:43.520 way that they did you know um so yeah so anyways you know it was a really tough decision and i
01:00:52.140 decided um i talked with lawrence quite a while ago about possibly doing this it's malicious
01:00:57.920 prosecution cases are very hard to win um but we all like every every this one is just on its face
01:01:05.720 like, it should be an easy win because it's all right there. It's all right there in my
01:01:10.100 statement of claim. By the way, you can find my statement of claim at www. I'll put that in the
01:01:14.560 comments. If you want to, oopsie, have a look at it. I don't know what I just did here.
01:01:28.160 .com. You can find my statement of claim right on my website. If you want to have a look at it
01:01:35.240 and read it. I hope I spelt that right. No, I didn't. Look at that. Official. Oh, no, I did.
01:01:48.380 Never mind. So you can find the statement of claim there. I mean, it's, it's, I talked to
01:01:55.700 this a long time about this. It's official Tamera Leach.com. I think I just put it in
01:02:00.700 there www.officialtomaryleach.com um um where was i yeah i mean i i talked to lawrence a long time
01:02:10.200 about possibly doing this because like i said i know that there are very hard cases to win
01:02:14.000 um and he said they are hard cases to win but sometimes you have to do it on principle and
01:02:18.760 if there was ever a case to do that it is your case and everything that happened um so but of
01:02:25.680 course you know like we've been really blessed i admit we've been completely blessed to have
01:02:29.860 organizations helping us with our criminal defense uh legal fees uh they've been helping a lot of the
01:02:34.900 other convoy participants and supporters um but because this is a civil action um it's just
01:02:42.020 something they can't do and i i they shouldn't i mean they have a very important job to do and
01:02:46.580 every penny that they raise needs to go to help uh you know canadians that are being persecuted
01:02:52.580 uh here's to your victory thank you the justice center for constitutional freedoms john kirpi and
01:02:59.060 his crew you know the amount of people that donate to the justice center please keep it coming because
01:03:03.700 you know benita peterson will be represented by the justice center here for her case going
01:03:07.860 forward against the human rights tribunal like my gosh this is where we are right now there's
01:03:11.780 so many people across this country that the justice center and the democracy fund two different
01:03:15.940 organizations are doing right now but they can't do it unless they have uh donated dollars to to
01:03:22.740 keep the fight going forward so yeah exactly and and so if i win i mean that's the other thing about
01:03:30.100 because this is a civil action i am seeking damages i think in the statement of claim i
01:03:34.820 think it's 1.7 million which i'll never get in a million years even if i win um i'll be if i win um
01:03:44.260 if i win you know a hundred thousand dollars maybe but uh most of that i'm going to donate um like i
01:03:51.700 i said right in my in my campaign i'm going to probably keep a little bit of for remediation for
01:03:57.940 myself and the rest i'm going to split 50 50 and donate to the justice center and to the democracy
01:04:03.300 fund um what because they'll get the majority of it because i don't need it i don't have it now i'm
01:04:09.620 i'm you know managing without all that and it's not about the money chris it really isn't about
01:04:15.060 the money they can't do this to people they can't do this to another canadian ever again
01:04:19.860 yeah the principle we have a rule of law we have due process in this country and so it has to be
01:04:27.300 i just it just can't be done um the other really great thing about crowdfunding now
01:04:32.500 we did learn some very valuable lessons when we were crowdfunding um for the convoy didn't we chris
01:04:38.980 step we did well i wasn't part of never choose go fund me step number one no avoid go fund me
01:04:45.620 at all costs um and one of the things i really love about this crowdfund is that i can uh
01:04:52.900 it completely open and transparent like i we were we will not be withdrawing any money unless we get
01:04:58.180 an invoice from the lawyer so i will be withdrawing 25 000 to pay for the retainer um sometime next
01:05:04.180 week i will post um i'll post that the parts of the letter so that everyone can see what it is
01:05:11.060 and then as the invoices come in um we'll just draw off of that and pay the invoice i've already
01:05:16.580 talked to jacob wells at give send go um if you can do that just take out a specific amount
01:05:21.380 instead of just transferring it all because i don't really want to touch too much of it i
01:05:25.780 actually tried to set it up so that the money would go directly to my lawyer into a trust but
01:05:31.060 they weren't comfortable doing that so it is going to have to come into an account that actually an
01:05:35.780 account that i had set up for our show here um if we ever started generating any money
01:05:41.140 to cover our bills for it but i wanted to i wanted to keep it separate um so anyways i'm
01:05:46.900 going to use that account and um so that's the great thing about it it can everything will be
01:05:53.380 open everything will be transparent i'm not going to be spending any of it to go buy myself a boat
01:05:59.060 or a brand new truck or take a trip anywhere um you know steak and a boat remember that one
01:06:06.360 yes that's right so i can be um yeah so i can be completely transparent and even better jacob
01:06:13.340 told me that if there's anything left over you know goodness gracious i couldn't even i can't
01:06:19.320 even imagine making that goal but um it can be returned so donations are basically withdrawn on
01:06:28.080 to first give i guess first give first serve basis almost right so if there is sound left over then
01:06:35.120 he can return that back to those donors so um i will not be getting i will not be personally
01:06:41.120 receiving a penny of it other than to get it from my account into the lawyer's account and
01:06:47.340 there's screenshots there's going to be letters there's going to be all different ways to keep
01:06:52.060 everybody informed and you know that's one of the things that we tried to do during the convoy if
01:06:56.180 remember chris was always i mean that's why i started doing those videos even though i was
01:07:00.080 awkward and weird and i mean i'm just not the kind of person that sits in front you're so good at it
01:07:04.980 like you're so good at it you're just a natural you can whip your phone out rip off a video in
01:07:10.060 five seconds and i'm like awkward and weird and and i never wanted to do them but i you know right
01:07:16.500 off the bat when those donations started coming in at the beginning of the convoy we all just
01:07:21.100 decided like it was really important that all the donors and Canadians knew exactly what was going
01:07:26.880 on with their money it was their money so they had a say or you know at least had to be you know
01:07:33.080 kept informed as to what was going on with it how GoFundMe was jerking us around and so I mean we
01:07:40.000 just we learned a lot of valuable lessons I remember that you know when it comes to the the million
01:07:45.480 dollars that was released by GoFundMe after a fight with them and trying to get lawyers involved
01:07:49.680 to try and have something released so we could we could aid in some of the truckers expenses in
01:07:54.080 downtown ottawa you know we had to have some place to put that one million dollars and so
01:07:58.180 you know you being the person you are completely worried somebody would think you did something
01:08:02.800 wrong took me to the bank and and zero to balance out in your savings account had me added to that
01:08:08.840 bank account for transparency and the the money hit the bank account within what was it a day it
01:08:16.000 was all frozen by toronto dominion bank and then our bank accounts were frozen for how three and
01:08:20.060 a half months until we released that 1.3 million dollars into the escrow from court could you
01:08:26.360 imagine if we had access to the 5.5 million dollars and still sitting in the escrow account
01:08:31.060 in the ontario because of the ontario attorney general's office and because of paul champ's
01:08:36.200 lawsuit and the citizens of ottawa do you know how many people we could have helped with their
01:08:40.260 legal battles and if we're through with the court season for the last four years we would have been
01:08:44.480 able to fix everything. But this is all by design. They want us broke. They want us desperate. We're
01:08:49.320 in Canada right now and the government come in and froze everything. Yeah. And we're never going
01:08:56.680 to see that money. We're never going to see that money. If Paul Champ, for some reason, if that
01:09:01.520 sell suit goes sideways on him, then the attorney general is going to take it. Like we're never
01:09:07.060 going to see it. And that's, you know, honestly, I don't want to give up the donations to people.
01:09:11.140 the only reason i want to fight for that money is because it belongs to canadians but
01:09:15.460 i don't want to i don't want to touch it i don't want to have anything to do with it
01:09:18.980 i really just um and the other part of that i don't i don't want some of the other players
01:09:24.340 involved to have access to do easier because you know there's some pretty bad intentions
01:09:29.060 out there and some people out here that were involved with us that do not have jobs and are
01:09:32.980 looking forward to having some access to that money so i will never uh relinquish my control
01:09:38.820 of that to to protect that money from those people if you know what i mean i don't know what they
01:09:45.780 would do with it anyways like you know what i mean like i don't know but i think maybe
01:09:50.260 maybe buy maybe buy a boat and take a trip to cuba you never know i'm pretty sure that would
01:09:56.340 probably happen yeah um yeah no kidding uh the only trips i get to take are for work so i'm not
01:10:05.800 to complain i'm not going to complain at all um insert chris's subtle jabs
01:10:15.240 uh jerry oj says in my opinion a reasonable award for you would be a thousand per day
01:10:21.640 you were detained and imprisoned in addition to your court-related expenses
01:10:25.480 thank you jerry that's very sweet yeah i mean that's the thing i got a i got a one-way trip
01:10:30.680 to ottawa but uh um they certainly weren't going to help me pay my way back
01:10:38.200 no when that was all done how did you get home let's tell that story
01:10:42.360 i had to fly but um i stayed with thomas and leanne and the o'connors for a few days
01:10:50.280 oh my god there's a kevin story so okay i gotta tell this story too chris
01:10:55.480 um just prior to all this happening a friend of mine sent me a message that he'd received from a
01:11:02.040 gentleman from montreal who was dying of cancer and he just sent this beauty he was like can you
01:11:06.540 please get this message to tamara um and it was a beautiful message about how uh he'd met me in
01:11:13.980 ottawa and a little bit about his life and how chris and i and all the freedom convoys saved his
01:11:20.520 life and it went on to say that he had stage four cancer and he was dying and all he wanted to do
01:11:28.040 was just meet me one more time so i put a call out to a lot of our chat groups that we were in at the
01:11:34.760 time um and actually a good friend of ours i'm not going to mention his name but a good friend of
01:11:40.600 ours actually put a flight on his points uh paid for a flight for me to fly out there to go see
01:11:47.480 this gentleman um so that i could you know go say goodbye or help whatever and he was the last person
01:11:55.400 i texted uh because i just found out that there was a flight booked with um andrews points everything
01:12:00.600 was good to go i was going to fly out there and go meet this gentleman and fly back home
01:12:06.120 um he was the last person i texted before i got arrested other than my husband when i was in the
01:12:10.680 the truck um so after i was after i was finally released um me and johnny scooby scooby and
01:12:19.080 thomas drove to um drove to montreal and went and had dinner with this gentleman and got to meet him
01:12:25.240 and stuff but uh turned out a few months later that we found out that he was just a scammer and
01:12:29.800 it was all a lie and it was very scary honestly um because my sister and i flew out after that
01:12:36.760 too and went and helped him move he said he needed help moving and um anyways what we found
01:12:42.780 out after is where like this lady that informed us of who this guy was and what he was doing was
01:12:47.700 like you didn't leave your bags alone with him or ever right and i said no there was always either
01:12:52.280 myself or my sister in the room with all of our stuff and um anyways can you imagine what would
01:12:58.660 have happened if i would have went there by myself i mean i thank god i went to jail i mean this but
01:13:04.960 this is me and being so naive you know thinking that everyone's got good intentions and not
01:13:09.720 everybody has good intentions and so to lie to somebody that you're dying of stage four cancer
01:13:16.240 and and for what i didn't really know i mean i think i think honestly a lot of people especially
01:13:21.560 in the beginning chris just thought that you know some of us had access to all that money or we were
01:13:25.740 just rolling in piles and piles of money and you know we never were our freaking bank accounts for
01:13:31.880 frozen you you know how many you know and there was that person in downtown ottawa that was at
01:13:38.280 the protest that allegedly put like thirty thousand dollars there's life savings into
01:13:42.600 the truckers and the fuel and all that and then it turns out and he went public with it cbc grabbed
01:13:46.840 the story do you remember this guy it turned out to be all bull yes yeah yeah how many how many
01:13:55.560 crazy people have we encountered in the last number of years is what i try to take a mental
01:14:00.600 note on the people that cross us and then just kind of do a little above their name miranda yeah
01:14:07.720 we'll just keep working through the rest of the stuff that
01:14:12.840 i don't know how we ended up surrounded with so many i don't know you know but it is what it is
01:14:19.000 and yep here we are all we can smile move forward and smile that's right exactly and i mean even
01:14:27.720 with regards to all of this you know i i think there's a lot to be said has it been always a
01:14:33.560 pleasant experience chris no but we've learned a lot no we've learned a lot about human nature
01:14:41.720 uh we've definitely learned a lot about what our government truly thinks of everyday canadians um
01:14:49.880 we've met some amazing people though like absolutely amazing people we've met people that
01:14:55.080 we'll be in our friend circle for the rest of our natural born lives.
01:14:59.520 And those people that you almost, you went to battle with and you know,
01:15:03.080 their intentions, you know, they're true, you know, Tom and Danny and Eva,
01:15:07.780 you know, there, there's so many people, Dale, Ryan, I don't want to miss any.
01:15:11.440 We've had a lot of fall off over the years,
01:15:13.320 but we still have that original core group of good solid people.
01:15:16.900 And you can tell who the solid people are.
01:15:20.960 Yeah, you sure can.
01:15:22.120 um terry ford says i followed you all since 2022 and you are the best thing that happened towards
01:15:27.800 trying to open up people's eyes to the corruption of this liberal cabal if people don't see the
01:15:32.760 worth of the freedom convoy did for canada then they are part of the problem in canada today
01:15:38.840 um yes exactly we got a super chat here hang on one second chris no super chats
01:15:45.720 um two dollars super chat from neil from the hill i'm sure the government has sent the money
01:15:51.400 to ukraine yeah you're probably exactly right uh you are probably exactly right i thought i
01:15:58.760 saw another one oh another two dollars oh that's there we go yeah perfect same one thank you so
01:16:03.000 much neil for the super chat really appreciate that for sure yeah i mean where's this comment
01:16:09.560 here oh yes the movement brought out all the crazies and it did and it does and you know i
01:16:16.200 think a lot of people just have a lot of good intentions they just they just choose to do
01:16:20.040 things differently um definitely there was some crazies there for sure but i mean it's uh i've had
01:16:27.720 i've had an you know and you've had probably encountered her too but her name is darlene
01:16:31.400 from camaro's area she has been on me from day one and she mass emails my uh my email she she
01:16:39.560 texts me she calls me and i've i've tried really hard to be patient with her and debate with her
01:16:45.960 and say darling you have it all wrong she you know she's she's like literally loco not there
01:16:51.720 you know i should have called the rcmp with some of the stuff that she's done for criminal
01:16:56.020 harassment it would have been a heck of a case i just wanted to get some mental help but i've
01:16:59.860 dealt with this and i gotta admit too my patience level for people like that is only so good after
01:17:05.540 so many experiences i start to kind of i start to like melt down a little bit and then you start
01:17:10.240 getting the chris that people don't want to see and and i start putting it to her bluntly and
01:17:15.000 rudely and and then you know but for the last probably four months she's she's kind of went
01:17:20.260 quiet so i don't know if she got put into an insane asylum might have but this this she'll
01:17:27.240 probably see this and be starting to call again but it's definitely been an exercise in patience
01:17:33.620 for sure i couldn't even make a movie or i couldn't even write a book of my experiences at
01:17:39.100 this time i literally would be a documentary for you know a series documentary excuse me
01:17:44.620 this is my water bottle when i'm in the truck here i believe in drinking about a gallon of
01:17:48.140 water a day so and in the states i get better water bottles in canada here they suck
01:17:56.940 well i really hope that we can try and get you know the story out and i'm i don't know i'm really
01:18:02.300 hopeful that this lawsuit will at least lead to something i think um at the very least it's
01:18:06.460 going to be interesting to get some disclosure and see how all of this went down and um and
01:18:14.140 Hopefully we can provide some regular updates to, well,
01:18:17.500 I will be providing regular updates to what's going on every step of the way.
01:18:21.420 Well, like I said, too,
01:18:22.720 we just need to encourage people to like and share and subscribe and share it
01:18:29.260 with your friends as we're here.
01:18:31.040 We haven't changed the people that we are and we've always been these people.
01:18:34.860 So, you know,
01:18:36.320 share it with the people that think we're horrible people and just watch our
01:18:39.440 shows and watch our podcasts and watch what we do and the people that we are.
01:18:43.720 we're not out there you know we we tend to go down a venting track every now and then where
01:18:47.580 we've literally had enough of the amount of stuff thrown at us but um that's just human nature we
01:18:52.800 need to we need to have the avenue to vent when we're frustrated and we see a whole bunch of
01:18:57.040 negative and people slandering us trust me if we could we could make an entire episode of if we
01:19:02.040 wanted to but it's everything we have to do to sit back and not do that so that's exactly right
01:19:08.580 Sandra says it will either be a success and justice will move forward or they will show their hand and prove how terrible they are.
01:19:17.180 Yeah, exactly.
01:19:18.100 I mean, we said that right from the start.
01:19:19.780 You know, God used this to expose so many things.
01:19:23.660 And as I said, you know, I've said it, told you guys many times, even when I was arrested, I was like, okay, God, you're not done with me yet.
01:19:30.820 It's totally fine.
01:19:31.720 You're obviously not done with me yet and we have more work to do.
01:19:34.060 And I'm hoping that this lawsuit will just be another avenue where we can just continue to expose what is going on.
01:19:42.000 Janine says, we need people to stand up.
01:19:45.360 Yeah. And grateful and irritated at all the bees you guys have and are still dealing with.
01:19:51.080 My boys and I were there for the big stand. Oh, wow.
01:19:55.560 You were there. I think I was already in jail, honestly.
01:19:59.620 If you if you're talking about the takedown, then for sure.
01:20:02.120 emily research says god bless you both see i know we're so lucky we do have our haters but
01:20:07.940 they're mostly just unhinged lunatics so just low life said hide behind a keyboard so
01:20:15.380 guys i've been here for an hour and a half i'm about five ten miles away from my destination's
01:20:20.680 ranch down the bottom of the river valley here i need to kick his tractor off and take his broken
01:20:24.440 one back to slip current tonight and then head over to tilly alberta tomorrow for so i appreciate
01:20:29.080 everybody joining in saying hi i did what i could to be here um keep going tomorrow just keep telling
01:20:33.640 your story i'll uh yeah i'll check i'll check in from the comment section just imagine i'm here
01:20:38.280 just there's this guy beside you you happen to yourself i appreciate you have a good night
01:20:43.240 everybody i appreciate you making the time okay bye chris have a good night anytime see you guys
01:20:52.440 get him out of here all right there he goes okay the frenchman river valley i don't know if you've
01:20:58.440 ever been down there but it's a beautiful beautiful part of saskatchewan oh it's where i grew up
01:21:03.880 um absolutely house arrest yeah canada the crown land well i just want to thank all of you guys
01:21:13.240 some for joining tonight and listening and um i tried to see if there's some questions here
01:21:19.640 um but i really appreciate you guys coming on and i hope shared i know that lots of people are going
01:21:23.880 to have a lot of questions um about this lawsuit um again you can find my statement of claim i'll
01:21:31.480 put that back in here my full statement of claim is listed at www.official whoopsie tamaraleach.com
01:21:44.200 um and then you can find you know i'll be listed there and then of course the crowdfund the gifts
01:21:52.360 give send go campaign i gotta tell you a story about give send go and i did post this
01:21:57.080 but why i chose give send go so a lot of you obviously know um what happened with gofundme
01:22:05.720 but when they tried to go after give send go to steal our your don't your donations um
01:22:14.200 they said that the the lawyers told jacob that they were going to um
01:22:18.360 sees all the money that had been donated because, of course, everyone was contributing to domestic,
01:22:25.820 you know what. And anyways, he said, absolutely not. He said that money will be back in the
01:22:31.400 donor's accounts before you even have your paperwork filed. And he did. And that's one
01:22:36.600 of the things I really respect about Jacob is he prioritizes the donors, the people that donate
01:22:42.880 to campaigns on his platform that's his first responsibility and so um i've i'm pleased to
01:22:49.840 be using gifts and go i wish we would have started with them in the first place um but we just didn't
01:22:54.640 know right i mean we just didn't know and obviously even that got exposed too with the
01:23:00.320 whole gifts or the whole gofundme uh situation i had absolutely no idea that they were going to be
01:23:07.600 um yeah they are give send go is so awesome very much yep they are they are very uh faith freedom
01:23:15.600 and family i love it is there any way to donate besides uh i don't honestly know that that's a
01:23:24.300 good question i suppose it's all it's all hooked up to your credit card isn't isn't it um you know
01:23:30.140 i i could set up e-transfers but i'd really prefer not to do that only because i think it's going to
01:23:35.760 be easier to be completely transparent if we keep it all um right in in the crowdfund campaign um
01:23:48.800 yeah have an episode where you negatively affected people's lives probably not
01:23:55.760 mm-hmm okay
01:24:00.440 yeah smash the like button before you go yeah give us a like before you go guys that'd be
01:24:07.360 like i said we're this channel's growing we're really we're really excited and we've got a lot
01:24:12.880 of great episodes coming coming up so i mean i think it can only get better um obviously we have
01:24:18.940 absolutely no idea what we're doing here and we're not always technologically inclined but
01:24:23.140 we're very lucky to have tasha helping us most of the time and she's doing a fantastic job and
01:24:28.740 then of course you know it gets better every day we're not super polished but we don't really need
01:24:33.280 to be polished to just talk about our stories and talk about the truth and sharing other people's
01:24:37.880 other people's stories um debit visa is likely fine yeah that could be or maybe a prepaid one
01:24:44.760 too i never thought of that but i think you can do a prepaid a prepaid version so oh yes may the
01:24:52.620 4th is coming up duane's already watching uh star wars tonight getting ready for may the 4th
01:24:57.720 uh yeah okay well you guys i don't want to take up too much of your friday night i also didn't i
01:25:06.220 don't want to cut into uh clyde's live stream time tonight i think clyde and derek both have
01:25:11.540 live streams tonight so oh thank you because we're really enjoying it you know honestly christy this
01:25:17.200 has been almost like therapy and we're so proud that we can feature you know the doctors some of
01:25:24.820 the doctors and a lot of our injured friends get their stories out there next week we actually have
01:25:29.940 kevin street from petawawa coming on to share his story chris and i had the chance to meet him a
01:25:36.640 couple years ago when we did a an interview with him so looking forward to that one
01:25:45.200 yeah thank you well yeah we have awesome followers awesome supporters awesome followers
01:25:52.180 oh yes i can't thank you full moon tonight well you guys i hope you all have a great evening and
01:26:00.720 i just want to say thank you once again um if you ever have any questions about what's going on
01:26:05.920 uh with the with any of the stuff on here i'll get i'll get our you can always um email us at
01:26:11.940 18house.arrest at gmail.com and that's if you want to send uh guest suggestions if you want to send
01:26:19.620 um a critique of the show if you want to send some hate mail you can hit us up on
01:26:25.620 on 18house.arrest at gmail.com we are also on x at 18 house house we are on rumble at house arrest
01:26:36.180 18 uh as i said tasha just also got us set up on substack so with that i want to thank you all so
01:26:44.820 much for coming bearing with me tonight is therapeutic to hear thank you sometimes it's
01:26:50.500 therapeutic to tell them jerry i'm not gonna lie um one thing i'll finish off with is that
01:26:56.000 um i've been working on my second book and stuff and talking about a lot of stuff and you know i
01:27:01.620 think i even realized how much that first year really affected me emotionally and mentally too
01:27:08.900 i mean when you're in a situation sometimes you just you live it you have to get up every morning
01:27:14.580 you have to keep on living you've got you know grandkids to look after homes to look after you
01:27:19.940 just have to keep functioning and you keep going um but in my case you know the conditions that i
01:27:26.260 i was originally let out under were so very broad so broad um like i said for example the uh the
01:27:34.480 social media um condition where i was banned from social media i was not allowed to log in
01:27:40.340 uh post log in or ask anybody else to post on my behalf um you know so even for example if i would
01:27:48.940 have said hey duane can you just put something on facebook and let everybody know that i'm okay i
01:27:53.360 would have went to jail and I didn't realize that whole first year you know how I was constantly
01:28:00.040 looking over my back like the constant anxiety of living that way and I was in Vancouver on the
01:28:05.780 weekend with Rebel News for Rebel News at the Canada Strong and Free event in Vancouver and as
01:28:14.040 I was leaving I happened to run into my good friend Alex Zoltan who is now working for the
01:28:18.000 Western Standard and you know we were just standing outside visiting as I was walking
01:28:22.020 getting ready to head back to um my hotel obviously you know i've got times when i
01:28:26.980 have to this all has to be planned out now and you know it's still you know being um
01:28:34.020 someone that people recognize you know you just never know if someone's going to just see you
01:28:38.940 walking down the street or talking to someone you know you know i think was somebody going to phone
01:28:43.520 the police are they going to show up here i mean that's the kind of anxiety that we're talking
01:28:47.880 about um that's the kind of then that's how they want you to live and my conditions in the beginning
01:28:53.320 were so broad because they wanted me to breach they wanted me in jail so bad all of us well look
01:28:59.000 what they did to pat king they kept pat in jail for five months five months um and and trust me
01:29:06.040 it's not a nice place um the ottawa carlton detention center is not a nice place and as a
01:29:12.360 matter of fact one of our lawyers diane told me at the beginning that it's basically known for
01:29:16.840 some pretty horrible human rights violations and i can definitely attest to that um how i saw some
01:29:23.320 of the inmates be treated by some people by each other um was was something and um it's really
01:29:32.440 literally an experience i never thought that i would have but that said there was a lot of good
01:29:36.680 people there i got a lot of support there like i said even from the doctor a lot of the guards were
01:29:41.600 very supportive um but again you know it's just this is just all a part of the process and i still
01:29:48.180 believe with all of my heart that god has our back and that he he knows what he's doing i trust his
01:29:54.400 plan and we're just going to keep doing what we can do to keep exposing um the corruption and the
01:30:00.760 nonsense that's happening in this country and um we just got to keep calling it out so with that
01:30:07.740 you guys. I have rambled on long enough. I want to thank you all once again for joining us on this
01:30:12.580 very special episode tonight. Uh, we've got some other things coming up, so we'll be adding
01:30:16.440 memberships here pretty soon. So we're going to do some extra special streams and, uh, get some
01:30:20.700 stuff together. Um, cause we're just having a blast with the show and, uh, I hope you guys are
01:30:25.840 too. So have an amazing weekend, have an amazing evening. Thanks all again. And, uh, keep fighting
01:30:33.900 for freedom, guys. Keep fighting for freedom. I love you guys. Thanks for the support. It means
