00:00:00.000 Hey guys, it's Jack. I wanted to let you know that we're starting a new push for subscriptions here on Human Events Daily.
00:00:09.340 So make sure that when you're listening to this podcast, you hit subscribe, you download it, and you share it with five of your friends.
00:00:16.720 Make sure they're all going and downloading as well, because we need to get the signal out as much as possible.
00:00:22.440 Look, we've done so much over the past couple of years since this show started, and we're only going to do so much more.
00:00:29.360 Let's get it. Never, ever stop fighting no matter what. We will achieve American greatness. We are just getting started.
00:00:47.120 Welcome back to Justice for Charlie. We have Jack Posobiec on the ground at the courthouse in Provo, Utah. Benny, I know you had a question for him before the break that got cut off. So go ahead, please.
00:00:55.660 yeah jack first of all we're with you we are we stand with you throughout this whole time but you
00:01:01.760 know i wanted to touch on just a few weeks ago you and i were in the west wing of the white house
00:01:05.400 and we were having conversations about you know the the upcoming months and what this trial looked
00:01:10.120 like and you said you knew you know you you've been following this you had you know you've seen
00:01:14.980 the evidence you've seen certain things and you're very confident in what you've seen has there been
00:01:19.620 anything these past couple of days that have surprised you or stuff that's been you know
00:01:23.600 just different than what you thought? Well, I think, if anything, it's what's new is that
00:01:34.680 we're realizing that the case that the prosecutors have put together is something that they are going
00:01:42.420 to be releasing on their own schedule. They're being meticulous about that. And the evidence
00:01:47.080 that's been collected is far beyond that which has already been released to the public or even
00:01:54.840 released here at the trial. And of course, this has been the biggest fight as we sit there.
00:01:58.780 Now, there are certain times where I can see things in the courtroom that the public can't see.
00:02:06.180 And there are other times where there are videos being played that everyone can see,
00:02:09.820 but it's from a kind of a canted angle. So people can't see it quite as clearly as we can. And I'll
00:02:15.680 I'll tell you, for example, that high quality footage of Tyler Robinson walking around campus.
00:02:20.900 It's I mean, when I saw it, it's it's as clear as day on some of those cameras.
00:02:25.960 Now, in addition, some of the cameras, it's it's very much zoomed out.
00:02:29.700 And I certainly would love if we can get either the raw footage or the zoomed in footage there.
00:02:36.100 I think that that's something where, you know, the judge decided to hold that back, but did publish it.
00:02:41.400 So I think we still have to make media requests for it.
00:02:43.160 I really want to get that footage out there, especially if you can see him in that prone position crawling forward to the edge and then, of course, taking the fatal shot.
00:02:55.580 So beyond the specifics there, it's really the sheer amount and volume of evidence that they have collected here, which is far beyond some of the other cases that we see in high profile.
00:03:08.740 for example, the Brian Koberger case out in Idaho with the four sorority girls that he hacked to
00:03:14.420 death. In that case, there were a few witnesses of a car. There was a bloody fingerprint, but that
00:03:21.460 was about it. You just didn't have this massive volume and really mountain of evidence that they
00:03:28.640 are slowly but surely unveiling here in court. And I expect that today we're going to get more of
00:03:34.100 that. Obviously yesterday we got the, not just the fact that there was a DNA match, but 89% match
00:03:39.460 on the screwdriver, 95% match on the towel to Tyler Robinson. And then yes, also the minority
00:03:46.760 partial match to Lance Twiggs, of course, being the roommate. And then again, of course, questions
00:03:53.240 today about whether or not we will get to Twiggs' testimony. And of course, the fact that the defense
00:03:58.680 was very, very cagey about letting in any of the information regarding Charlie's political views,
00:04:06.320 specifically relating to marriage, man and woman, gender issues.
00:04:12.800 Obviously, that's something that is clearly going to come up in this case, and that speaks directly to motive.
00:04:19.140 Yeah, Jack, that's a very, very interesting point you're making.
00:04:21.960 I thought it was really a microcosm of the entire trial, this targeting enhancement.
00:04:26.460 If we don't know what Charlie Kirk stood for, we can't know what the defendant's state of mind was.
00:04:32.480 And I think that the defense attorney got backed into a corner when Judge Graff asked him that question.
00:04:37.160 And it seemed the lid kind of just this veil kind of came off of what this case is about.
00:04:41.200 And I really thought that piece of evidence that was being admitted that Judge Graff permitted was actually a wonderful moment, a watershed moment of what we're actually talking about here.
00:04:49.720 And if we're going to extend that a little bit bigger, Jack, 30,000 feet, and because we are talking this whole hour is justice for Charlie,
00:04:56.180 I want to ask you a question that I asked your brother, Kevin, yesterday.
00:04:59.020 What does justice for Charlie look like?
00:05:01.100 We know that the death penalty is on the table.
00:05:03.220 I know that you're a devout Catholic.
00:05:04.660 I know that this matters to you.
00:05:06.680 But if the prosecution proceeds with the death penalty and he were to receive that, is that justice or what is justice in your eyes?
00:05:17.540 Well, look, Beau, I mean, nothing will ever make this right.
00:05:22.460 Nothing will ever give us our friend back.
00:05:24.980 Nothing will ever give us back our leader at Turning Point, the guy who was such a leader and a fighter for this country.
00:05:34.380 So no amount of response will ever give us back what was taken.
00:05:40.960 And when I think of Erica and I think of their children and the fact that that's a boy and a girl who are so young and of every single moment that was robbed from them,
00:05:53.280 not just when it happened but for the rest of their lives he'll never be able to walk his
00:05:57.360 daughter down the aisle he'll never be able to teach his son to throw a baseball or throw a
00:06:01.160 football as incredible as he was or teach him both to play basketball which he was also an
00:06:05.020 incredible champion at that that's a debt that's a serious debt that needs to be paid to a real
00:06:12.420 family who are suffering real trauma because of all this but more more than that this was an attack
00:06:19.560 on our civilization and our society and our way of life because it was an attack on freedom of
00:06:23.880 speech. It was an attack on free debate. It was an attack on our very system of having a republic
00:06:30.840 the way that we have it. And as such, that's why I've always said for assassins specifically,
00:06:37.460 the death penalty should absolutely not just be warranted, but always sought because it's
00:06:43.900 an attack on our very way of life itself. All right, Jack, that's important. Sorry to
00:06:50.380 cut you off there, Benny. I know they're telling me that I got to go to break, but thanks for
00:06:53.100 being with us and providing that insight. I think we're all thinking about this, and I think you're
00:06:58.380 right, Jack, to say that there really is no true justice. It doesn't bring our friend back. It
00:07:04.160 doesn't bring the leader back. There's so much in debt that we owe that the vacuum that's filled
00:07:09.380 can't be filled by any one person i think all of us we probably have to collectively have to rise up
00:07:14.900 in the best way that we can and jack you've been at the forefront of that and we certainly salute
00:07:18.440 you for it so uh jack thanks for your your um your um your uh observations right now and i guess we
00:07:25.160 have to go to vice president jd vance so jack thanks for all the good work that you're doing
00:07:28.640 right there and we'll make sure to stay tuned to your presentation tonight at nine and now we go
00:07:32.520 to vice president jd vance they weren't getting them because the fraudsters were getting rich
00:07:37.560 off the generosity of the American taxpayer. So you know what we did? We came in and we said,
00:07:43.140 we are not sanctioning a single one of these companies to defraud the American people. If
00:07:49.020 you say that you're going to provide medical equipment to our seniors, we're going to confirm
00:07:54.080 that you're actually delivering product before we pay a single one of those bills. And we saved
00:07:59.000 billions of dollars. And you know what happened is we had great support from Brian Stile and
00:08:07.180 Derek Van Orden and all of the other great congressional representatives to keep that
00:08:11.940 money out of the hands of fraudsters to ensure that it went to the seniors who needed it.
00:08:16.280 And you know what happened?
00:08:17.580 Not a single congressional Democrat stood up and said, we are going to fight back against
00:08:22.580 fraud.
00:08:23.580 And that's the problem with modern congressional Democrats.
00:08:27.060 You know, I was raised by blue-collar Democrats.
00:08:29.880 They were Christian, patriotic people, union steel workers who loved the United States
00:08:35.560 of America.
00:08:36.560 But my Mamaw and Papaw, the people who raised me, they supported Democrats because they
00:08:41.460 felt like the Democrats of 20, 30, 40 years ago had better policy.
00:08:45.660 Now you may agree or disagree with that, but today this is not about better or worse policy.
00:08:51.260 This is about who is supporting the fraudsters and who's supporting you.
00:08:55.600 And I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if Mamaw and Papaw were alive today, they
00:09:00.640 would not recognize the modern Democratic Party in 2026.
00:09:05.500 They would not recognize a party that tries to send your money to illegal aliens instead
00:09:10.820 of our hard-working seniors who earned those benefits and ought to have access to them.
00:09:15.900 They would not recognize a party that raises your taxes so that we can give more money
00:09:20.560 to the fraudsters and they would not recognize that they would not recognize that they would
00:09:30.260 hear anything yet everybody needs to pray for charlie kirk right now he is a voice of reason
00:09:38.180 out there that has been gunned down for daring to be an american to tell the truth to believe
00:09:44.740 in free speech my husband laid down his life for me for our nation for our children when america
00:09:53.700 needed a hero god sent us a charlie kirk charlie kirk is a casualty of the political war going on
00:10:00.100 of this country. He was gunned down in cold blood. The evildoers responsible for my husband's
00:10:06.640 assassination have no idea what they have done. With a high degree of certainty, we have him
00:10:15.440 in custody. U.S. media are now reporting that the suspect is 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.
00:10:23.540 The man charged with assassinating Charlie Kirk was living with a transgender partner.
00:10:29.360 It was a family member and a family friend who helped deliver Tyler Robinson to law enforcement in Washington County.
00:10:37.840 Inscriptions on the three unfired casings read,
00:10:41.240 Hey, fascist! Catch!
00:10:45.400 He believed strongly that we could solve a lot of our differences with just a good old-fashioned conversation.
00:10:52.440 He was shot for speaking the truth. He was shot for speaking his mind.
00:10:56.660 He was shot for defending the Constitution.
00:10:58.360 He didn't hate people. He didn't even hate liberals. He just hated intolerance.
00:11:03.600 He was fighting not just for his own young children, but for all of our children.
00:11:09.040 Never, ever stop fighting, no matter what.
00:11:13.640 We will achieve American greatness. We are just getting started.
00:11:17.580 Welcome to this special presentation of Justice for Charlie,
00:11:30.960 an hour of exploration and analysis.
00:11:33.760 And we are using this hour to dive deep into the Tyler Robinson case
00:11:37.360 so that Human Events Daily can have its own special presentation
00:11:40.300 at 9 p.m. Eastern each night.
00:11:42.840 I'm joined by Benny Ray Harmony in the D.C. area.
00:11:45.700 I'm Beau Davidson, and we also have Jack Posobiec on hand at the courthouse in Provo, Utah.
00:11:51.020 And we want to get right to Jack because we want to get some information, get a live look at what's going on.
00:11:55.640 The trial is supposed to be resuming in about an hour.
00:11:58.660 Jack, are you able to hear me yet?
00:12:02.620 Yeah, Beau, I've got you.
00:12:03.800 And, of course, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard because we're here, and normally I'd be on in this time slot.
00:12:11.040 But, of course, the last couple of days I've been inside the courtroom.
00:12:14.880 I've got my notepad right here because there's no phones.
00:12:18.520 There's no electronics in the courtroom, but we've been taking extensive notes.
00:12:22.180 We've been learning a lot.
00:12:23.600 And this is the very courthouse here, the 4th District, Provo, Utah.
00:12:28.460 It's a hot day.
00:12:30.100 And when you're in the courtroom as well, something that, you know, I don't know exactly if people realize or you can quite tell from, you know, seeing it.
00:12:39.240 I posted, and I think my brother Kevin posted as well, some images we found of what the courtroom looks like
00:12:44.660 because of the way they've put restrictions on the live stream.
00:12:48.780 It's a very small room.
00:12:50.140 It's quite small, and you can already see security is around us here.
00:12:55.560 We've got sheriffs.
00:12:56.880 We'll have SWAT team out very soon as more and more people show up,
00:13:01.440 and, of course, as the defendant shows up in the Bearcat.
00:13:04.520 We have SWAT lining the room itself as well,
00:13:08.080 And they're on a, you know, they rotate out, but we've got multiple SWAT officers all over.
00:13:13.700 We've got sheriffs right there in the actual court area.
00:13:17.200 And there's only about four rows for the gallery.
00:13:22.460 So about four, I would say, pews, almost like a pew in church.
00:13:25.900 It's wooden, not particularly comfortable.
00:13:28.700 And when you're sitting there again, you know, you can't get up and leave.
00:13:32.460 You can't, you know, and then come back.
00:13:34.960 You can't, you know, talk.
00:13:37.680 you know phones you've only got again your notepad and of course myself i i did have my rosary out and
00:13:43.280 i was saying my rosary at a number of times during this but um you're you're all right there so
00:13:49.040 obviously we're with charlie's family tyler robinson's family is just one row away right
00:13:54.320 there in the room as well and then a few feet away from all of us is tyler robinson himself
00:13:59.920 the accused assassin and so it's it's very tight quarters it's very small and yet the emotions are
00:14:06.800 large and the impact of course is not just national but international and it's it's i have to
00:14:12.720 say it's just surreal being in that room seeing what it's like that something so monumental could
00:14:20.680 be squeezed into such a small place but what we're going to be going through of course today
00:14:26.640 more evidence expected to come and in fact i'm being told that we may if we get to it get to
00:14:34.000 the testimony of Lance Twigs. And that would be a pre-recorded testimony, but it is possible
00:14:41.300 that we could get to that today. And that, of course, is going to speak directly to those
00:14:45.140 gender issues that we saw being debated yesterday. And I believe we have some folks
00:14:51.700 showing up right now. And Kevin, can you tell who that is?
00:15:04.000 oh this is uh uh this is uh rush limbaugh's um rush limbaugh's widow she's actually been here
00:15:13.200 all week and she's been uh just been great through all of this sitting with us so people are people
00:15:18.800 are starting to show up and and really show their support obviously the president's son don jr
00:15:23.680 my friend dom was here sitting with us and he's been out talking about how he's he's very much
00:15:28.960 tracking all the evidence on this case he's digging into what's going on and he's been
00:15:33.280 out speaking out publicly as well and i believe we're going to do some uh do some videos here
00:15:38.480 later today and kevin kevin is today our field correspondent kevin has been doing great work the
00:15:42.640 whole rap team has been doing incredible work this whole week and and by the way i should i'd be
00:15:46.480 remiss if i didn't say you guys to bow and benny thank you for all you do to for the live coverage
00:15:51.600 of these hearings as well while we're going through all this yeah jack and i know we don't
00:15:54.640 have a ton of time with you left uh but i do want to ask you you you mentioned on your your special
00:15:59.040 coverage last night talking about tracking tyler robinson's movements after the shooting that was
00:16:03.680 big how does that get us closer to a conviction uh since you've been following this evidence so
00:16:09.120 closely right so so what what they're going to need to do in order to attain a conviction and of
00:16:16.600 course we're you know still months possibly even years away from a conviction and and getting to
00:16:21.540 the actual trial this is just a pre-trial hearing but in order to attain that conviction they're
00:16:26.400 going to need to place him at the scene, prove that he was there, prove that he was the one
00:16:31.340 who in fact operated the murder weapon, and prove that he was the one who had, again,
00:16:37.140 that motive and opportunity to be able to do that.
00:16:39.920 So by placing him at the scene where we can all see in this video that there's only one
00:16:45.980 person on that roof, there's only one person on that roof at that moment, they've tracked
00:16:50.180 that person meticulously and methodically throughout the day to be this one individual
00:16:55.920 of Tyler Robinson. And then there's also key pieces of corroboratory evidence that they've
00:17:02.180 been bringing up, things like the car and the license plate of the vehicle. So the license
00:17:07.900 plate being registered to himself and his mother, that's key as well. So now we can prove that the
00:17:13.320 car is in fact his car. There was an officer who had an interaction with Tyler Robinson,
00:17:17.600 I believe the fourth time that he went to campus early in the morning on September 11th,
00:17:22.820 that time just past midnight. So we know the license plate because the officer even ran it
00:17:27.720 at the time. Then there was another piece of information that came out yesterday that people
00:17:33.640 have been talking about it. The fact that he ate Chick-fil-A, that he purchased Chick-fil-A and ate
00:17:38.340 the Chick-fil-A. And, you know, people, of course, questioning how could how could someone do such a
00:17:42.880 thing? How do you have an appetite when you're planning to do something like that? And of course,
00:17:47.160 I'm right there with you. But I would also point out that him making that purchase, and in fact,
00:17:53.340 any purchase, gas or going to stop at the store to buy a drink, all of those purchases, if he used
00:18:00.520 a card, if he used a credit card or a debit card, that is going to be on those financial transactions.
00:18:06.980 So now we can corroborate that he was, in fact, the person who got Chick-fil-A because it's going
00:18:13.080 to be right there on those financial statements when they pull those as well. So these are
00:18:17.640 actually key elements that the prosecution is doing as they're building that scaffolding
00:18:23.780 for this case. So the walkthrough, those pieces of corroboratory evidence, and I expect that very
00:18:30.140 soon, Agent Hull mentioned something a few days ago, but I expect that very soon we're going to
00:18:34.660 hear about cell phone tracking as well. And I suspect that's how they knew that he was there
00:18:39.740 at 1238, just after midnight, because they more than likely tracked his cell phone to that time.
00:18:46.340 And Jack, just a few weeks ago, you and I were in the West Wing at the White House,
00:18:50.100 and we were kind of talking about this case, talking about everything. And you had said that
00:18:54.740 you know this case in its entirety. You have went through the evidence that's been, you know,
00:18:59.440 that you had seen, you knew this. Has there been anything that surprised you these last two days
00:19:04.960 that is maybe new knowledge that you've learned?
00:19:09.740 did we drop i don't know if jack jack there are you able to still if you still with us
00:19:17.800 he might have dropped all right well let's just take this opportunity i think we lost jack let's
00:19:22.780 take a quick break and we'll be right back with more special coverage of justice for charlie we'll
00:19:26.620 be right back never ever stop fighting no matter what we will achieve american greatness we are
00:19:35.680 just getting started.
