00:00:00.000 Hobby Lobby funds Antifa Jesus, Star Wars makes Luke Skywalker gay, and the FBI is targeting

00:00:27.100 The POSO Daily Brief, humanevents.com slash POSO.
00:00:31.140 Let's get into it.
00:00:42.400 A rebel took to the streets.
00:00:45.160 He recruited others to join him.
00:00:48.180 They roamed the hood and challenged authority.
00:00:52.420 Community leaders feared them.
00:00:54.560 Religious leaders abhorred them.
00:00:57.100 We have to get them off the streets, they said.
00:00:59.940 But they weren't part of a gang spreading hate and terror.
00:01:03.460 They were spreading love.
00:01:12.800 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily powered by Turning
00:01:16.840 Point USA.
00:01:18.020 Today is February 9th, 2023.
00:01:20.420 Anno Domini.
00:01:21.220 Today, we're going to get into some of the cultural stuff that's going on because the cultural
00:01:26.640 rot is all around us.
00:01:28.280 But we also see instances of what I would also call subversion.
00:01:35.860 Subversion of messages.
00:01:37.200 Subversion of truth.
00:01:39.060 Subversion, in this case, of the message of who I believe is the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
00:01:49.020 king of the universe, because there is a new advertising campaign called He Gets Us or He
00:01:59.000 Get Us.
00:01:59.680 I'm not sure that does nothing but spread heresy and blasphemy about Jesus Christ.
00:02:06.100 So it is completely heretical, it's completely blasphemous. 0.97
00:02:09.680 The people who are behind this really need to pull the plug on it very soon and honestly
00:02:14.980 just apologize.
00:02:16.380 Not only to the millions of people who apparently have seen it, but also to God, because you
00:02:22.000 need to repent for this immediately.
00:02:24.620 Blasphemy is something that is obviously a sin and obviously something that Christ did 0.81
00:02:30.080 not want anyone to be committing.
00:02:32.520 So what's going on here?
00:02:34.020 There is a new ad campaign and because of Revolver.news, we've got all the receipts on it.
00:02:40.480 Hobby Lobby and other, quote, conservative evangelicals are behind a huge ad campaign using Jesus to
00:02:47.520 promote illegal immigration and the LGBTQ agenda. 0.94
00:02:52.840 Okay, let's explain.
00:02:55.040 The ads discuss how Jesus Christ was a refugee, false, had disdain for hypocrisy, and also
00:03:03.240 was unfairly judged like other marginalized members of modern society.
00:03:09.320 That's funny because I don't remember Jesus coming to say that he was offering redemption
00:03:15.980 and salvation to marginalized members of modern society.
00:03:19.880 I believe he was actually talking about everyone.
00:03:21.640 So that included the Romans, that included the Pharisees, that included anyone who believed 0.85
00:03:28.040 in him.
00:03:28.680 You know, maybe you guys have a different version of the Gospels than I do.
00:03:33.960 But please, you know, go with the original version, not the Gospel according to Dallas
00:03:41.280 Jenkins.
00:03:42.700 The story goes on.
00:03:43.680 In one of the commercials, a black and white slideshow of photos tells us the story of
00:03:47.080 Central American migrants who must flee their home.
00:03:49.860 At the end, it is revealed that the story is being told of that of Jesus and his parents,
00:03:55.060 Mary and Joseph.
00:03:56.860 Okay, see, there's a big difference there because when just factually, that's incorrect, because
00:04:02.380 when Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the Holy Family, fled from Israel to Egypt, those were different
00:04:11.520 provinces of the Roman Empire at that time.
00:04:14.600 They didn't actually cross any borders because it was all part of one country.
00:04:19.800 Those were provinces.
00:04:21.260 It was called Judea at the time.
00:04:23.960 Then this idea, though, and you can see there's other ones of this where Jesus is compared to
00:04:31.380 essentially he's a rebel.
00:04:32.420 Like he's an Antifa member, Antifa Jesus promoting the LGBTQ agenda where we just saw the Protestant 1.00
00:04:40.320 Church of England earlier today voted to recognize or bless same-sex marriages, which of course
00:04:47.280 is completely against the Gospel.
00:04:49.540 So this idea that we now have these woke churches, apparently people are funding woke Jesus, depictions
00:04:58.420 of woke Jesus, which I'm sorry, that's just straight up blasphemy, but I understand what's 0.96
00:05:02.400 going on here because people are making this, here's the, here's the false argument they use
00:05:07.820 and Dallas Jenkins says this all the time.
00:05:09.380 He says, it's okay if we commit blasphemies because we're bringing people into Jesus and
00:05:17.340 being more inclusive of Jesus.
00:05:21.000 And that will broaden the message to bring people in, be more inclusive.
00:05:28.120 So we can reach out to minorities.
00:05:30.740 We can reach out to marginalized communities.
00:05:33.280 We can reach out to this organization, that organization.
00:05:37.160 We just have to, it's, it's all just in the name of inclusivity.
00:05:40.080 You know, that's all it is.
00:05:41.160 So it is no, no Dallas Jenkins, no Hobby Lobby.
00:05:46.540 This is not the way Dallas Jenkins is the guy behind the chosen, by the way.
00:05:49.480 What you're doing is you're diminishing, falsifying, editing, and ultimately smearing the teachings
00:06:03.160 of Jesus because what's going on here is you're diluting the message.
00:06:11.540 And I say this all the time.
00:06:13.340 Did Christ say that he would come to everyone, that everyone can come to him?
00:06:19.120 Absolutely.
00:06:20.420 A hundred percent.
00:06:21.320 Couldn't agree more.
00:06:22.960 He will take you as you are, but he will never leave you as you were because there's a second
00:06:32.680 part of this.
00:06:34.240 And a lot of churches in the Western world have forgotten about sin.
00:06:36.980 They've forgotten about hell.
00:06:37.840 They've forgotten about eternal damnation.
00:06:40.460 Don't even want to talk about it.
00:06:43.440 Go and sin no more.
00:06:45.700 This is the teaching. 0.88
00:06:50.520 He calls the Pharisees a brood of vipers.
00:06:53.260 He throws the money changers out of the temple.
00:06:57.960 Woke Jesus is not a thing, no matter how much money you put behind it.
00:07:02.740 What you're doing is you're trying to take Jesus, but strip the moral core, the moral core of
00:07:10.220 his teachings, which have formed the moral core of Western civilization for 2000 years.
00:07:16.800 And in doing so, you are doing the work of everyone who stands against Christ, who stands 0.53
00:07:25.060 against Christianity, and who stands against moral society.
00:07:29.100 Well, let's talk about someone who's not like that.
00:07:33.000 Thanks to your support, Patriot Mobile has emerged as one of the leaders in the parallel
00:07:37.300 economy, and they've got big news.

00:08:23.000 That's PatriotMobile.com slash POSO.
00:08:25.720 The Internet is a very interesting experience for me because in the old days, you'd get
00:08:31.640 fan mail and you'd sign as much as you can until it gets so voluminous that you had to
00:08:36.980 have help and so forth or form letters that you just signed or sent.
00:08:40.580 A lot of times I would say, you know, I don't have time to specifically answer your letter,
00:08:44.200 but, you know, the signature is real, et cetera, et cetera.
00:08:46.380 But now it's like the fans come right into your house and they ask you all these questions.
00:08:51.640 I'm getting bullied at school.
00:08:53.260 I'm afraid to come out because my parents are religious and they'll hate me and so forth.
00:08:57.860 It just breaks your heart.
00:08:59.160 And they would say to me, you know, could Luke be gay?
00:09:04.020 And I would say, you know, it's meant to be interpreted by you. 0.74
00:09:08.220 If you think he's gay, of course he's gay. 1.00
00:09:10.460 If you think he's straight, that's off.
00:09:12.300 Anything you want is real. 0.97
00:09:14.820 Luke Skywalker is now gay. 0.97
00:09:18.980 According to Wookieepedia, which is the official Star Wars fan encyclopedia, according to Disney, 0.52
00:09:29.900 it's reporting coming from the Post Millennial, the most iconic character in Star Wars,
00:09:33.580 the main character of the original series, Luke Skywalker, is now listed among the LGBTQ plus
00:09:39.420 individuals.
00:09:41.040 This is, quote, based on a recent short story by activist writer Sam Maggs.
00:09:49.440 I don't also other members of the LGBTQ plus community there now include Obi-Wan Kenobi,
00:09:57.020 Grand Moff Tarkin, and a bunch of people that I've never heard of.
00:10:00.960 One Twitter user asked Wookieepedia about Luke's LGBTQ plus categorization and wrote,
00:10:08.380 not trolling in any way, but what is the rationale for this?
00:10:12.300 Not saying there isn't one, but I'm not really familiar with anything defining that,
00:10:16.760 except maybe a girlfriend in the comics. 0.98
00:10:21.800 They wrote, the editor wrote back, short story, Luke on the bright side.
00:10:26.060 The short story apparently was written in June 2022, so just last year, a couple of months
00:10:34.260 ago, in a book targeted for children, the age range of 9 to 12, just like all of Star Wars
00:10:39.700 targeted children, even though their main audience is particularly millennials at this point.
00:10:45.780 The actual short story doesn't appear to show any direct romantic feelings expressed by Luke
00:10:53.720 Skywalker towards Sergeant Raye Hollis of the Alliance Special Forces, despite Sam Maggs'
00:11:01.180 clear history of pushing her activism into her stories.
00:11:04.900 And now people are all responding back.
00:11:07.020 Can you explain where this is?
00:11:08.420 Can you explain where this is?
00:11:09.680 Um, and people have said, well, it's implied.
00:11:17.280 Therefore, Luke Skywalker apparently is LGBTQ plus, et cetera, et cetera. 0.87
00:11:25.780 Um, this of course goes back to the opposite.
00:11:29.940 Of what, if you, if you had read Star Wars, or if you were into Star Wars in the nineties,
00:11:37.560 you would know that in the other, you know, series that, that Disney of course made completely
00:11:42.560 non-canonical, Luke Skywalker does have a girlfriend.
00:11:45.860 Her name is Mara Jade.
00:11:46.960 Uh, she becomes his wife.
00:11:48.560 They get married.
00:11:49.180 They have kids.
00:11:49.820 There's a whole, there's a whole thing behind it.
00:11:52.440 Um, in, in the original Star Wars, um, since we are doing cultural topics today, the idea
00:11:58.960 of the Jedi Knight.
00:12:01.120 So you have to take away all the crap that the prequels put in and all the stuff that
00:12:05.140 the sequels put in and just focus on the original concept.
00:12:08.380 So the idea of a Jedi Knight was based around a combination of the, of the priestly monks
00:12:15.900 from the middle ages, as well as the concept of a knight errant or a Ronin samurai.
00:12:20.680 Uh, the knight errant is a perennial character in medieval fiction, short stories, et cetera,
00:12:27.960 where they are a knight similar to a Ronin samurai that, that are, they're not necessarily,
00:12:32.800 uh, beholden.
00:12:35.100 They're not sworn to any one Lord or King or Duke or any noble.
00:12:38.640 And they instead go around the land and write wrongs.
00:12:43.020 So this was the original concept of where the Jedi Knight came in.
00:12:47.000 It was night with a monastic kind of background.
00:12:50.100 And this would explain, of course, their connection with the force.
00:12:52.600 This is where Obi-Wan Kenobi's character comes from.
00:12:54.660 It's also why he wears robes.
00:12:57.540 The idea that that would be taken away and added to all this other stuff.
00:13:05.760 Plus this new connection of taking the character that we've all seen, even if you just watch
00:13:15.320 the movies, you would know he was obviously interested in Princess Leia.
00:13:18.640 Um, there's a whole backstory behind that about how in the original writing of Empire Strikes 0.99
00:13:24.220 Back that George Lucas didn't write because George Lucas is a mongrel idiot and the biggest 0.99
00:13:27.600 con artist in Hollywood. 0.99
00:13:29.500 George Lucas didn't write any of Star Wars that even though he takes credit for all of
00:13:33.840 it, that his role was actually quite small.
00:13:36.460 The person who was originally writing it was going to have Luke's sister be someone completely
00:13:40.700 separate.
00:13:41.300 And it was an obvious love trial between a love triangle between Luke, Han and Leia.
00:13:45.740 This would have then, uh, come out later in Return of the Jedi, et cetera, et cetera.
00:13:50.880 But that gets changed because that person, Lee Beckett ends up passing away.
00:13:55.340 And so they had to retcon the entire thing, make Leia the sister because Lucas just decided
00:13:59.980 to cut corners.
00:14:00.920 And then, uh, obviously that made this very awkward kiss scene in Empire Strikes Back.
00:14:05.840 They don't have to deal with me and say, oops, it was an accident.
00:14:08.540 Let me explain what's going on here.
00:14:10.980 Just like we talked about in the last segment, what are they doing?
00:14:13.840 Now, obviously Star Wars is not on the same level, but it is a powerful, persuasive, cultural
00:14:24.520 force in the world and in the West.
00:14:28.920 And what's going on today?
00:14:31.840 The wokes, the deconstructionists, they're taking that property, that franchise, that institution, 1.00
00:14:41.900 they're wearing it like a skin suit.
00:14:46.100 And just like any other revolutionary movement, they're taking your heroes and they are defiling
00:14:52.760 them.
00:14:54.220 They are casting them into completely separate, completely other, completely deconstructed
00:15:02.140 versions of themselves.
00:15:03.900 This is why you can't get a good Superman made anymore.
00:15:07.860 This is why you can barely get a good Batman out there.
00:15:12.000 Uh, this is why they will take any institution and turn it to their own radical agenda.
00:15:18.380 It's not necessarily just so, or just because they want to push any one agenda or another.
00:15:26.260 It's also because they must tear down everything that has been built before.
00:15:31.600 They must tear down everything you care about.
00:15:34.540 And personally, for me, it's just another great example of why Star Wars is not welcome
00:15:39.400 in my house and why my kids have no idea what Star Wars is.
00:15:42.940 Now, look, a lot of people complain about the state of our country, the way woke corporations 0.99
00:15:48.320 treat us and our employees, as we're just talking about.
00:15:51.580 But it's not enough to complain.
00:15:52.880 We need to change the way the marketplace works.
00:15:54.840 And that starts with you and where you spend your money.
00:15:57.760 Again, stop giving money to people who hate you.
00:16:00.400 In less than a year, Public Square has grown to be the largest platform of patriotic, freedom-loving
00:16:04.000 businesses the world has ever seen.
00:16:05.800 And whether you want to support a restaurant that only buys from local farms, a coffee shop
00:16:09.860 that took a stand against COVID mandates or a bank that would never cancel you for your
00:16:14.300 political views, Public Square is your guide.
00:16:16.500 There's also interactive, censor-free community groups where you can connect with other local
00:16:20.520 members.
00:16:21.060 Here's the best part.
00:16:21.780 It's absolutely free to join.
00:16:23.540 Just go to publicsquare.com.
00:16:25.100 That's publicsq.com.

00:16:28.800 Simply create an account.
00:16:29.760 Begin your search.
00:16:30.700 You can also list your business for free so your local community can support you.
00:16:33.960 Look, we can't always change the world, but we can change how and where we spend our
00:16:38.060 hard-earned dollars.
00:16:39.120 Begin your search at Public Square today, publicsq.com.
00:16:42.440 That's publicsq.com.
00:16:46.660 Once upon a time, the Southern Poverty Law Center served as a champion in the civil rights
00:16:51.900 struggle.
00:16:52.860 It's said that the SPLC helped put the Ku Klux Klan out of business.
00:16:57.720 Klan membership used to be in the millions.
00:17:00.380 Today, it's only a few thousand.
00:17:02.600 But when you look at the SPLC's map of hate groups in America today, one would think America
00:17:08.140 is consumed with hate.
00:17:10.380 Or is it?
00:17:11.460 When you've put the Klan out of business and won all your battles, but you're not ready
00:17:15.380 to close your doors, you need to find new enemies to fight.
00:17:19.000 You might also need to change the definition of hate.
00:17:21.980 One of those new enemies is former Vanderbilt history professor Dr. Carol Swain.
00:17:27.800 Swain grew up in the Old South and fought poverty and racism to become a university professor.
00:17:34.140 She's an expert on white nationalism.
00:17:35.920 But she's publicly attacked the SPLC, and Swain, a conservative Christian, found herself on
00:17:42.480 the SPLC's hate list as, quote, an apologist for white supremacists.
00:17:48.420 Other SPLC targets have included Dr. Ben Carson, who was then removed from the SPLC hate list,
00:17:55.620 female genital mutilation victim Hersi Ali, and even small charities like the Ruth Institute,
00:18:02.040 whose mission is to help families and children.
00:18:05.620 The Ruth Institute said, if this makes us a hate group, so be it.
00:18:10.480 So there's a piece, huge whistleblower report that just came out from Uncover DC,
00:18:20.600 UncoverDC.com, and it was written by Kyle Serafin, who he himself is a former FBI special agent.
00:18:28.480 He's a confirmed Catholic and a father of three.
00:18:32.400 What did he get for us?
00:18:33.640 He just produced this document from the FBI.
00:18:36.980 It's written just a few weeks ago from FBI Richmond.
00:18:40.060 This new report, listen to this.
00:18:44.060 Interest of racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists in radical traditionalist
00:18:52.520 Catholic ideology almost certainly presents new mitigation opportunities. 0.95
00:18:56.800 What does that gobbledygook mean?
00:18:59.980 The FBI is now tracking traditional Catholic marriage, Catholic mass, I should say, attendance.
00:19:10.840 So TLM, traditional Latin mass.
00:19:12.860 And they're claiming that if you attend this, that the new FBI assessment is that racially or ethnically
00:19:24.840 motivated violent extremists are the ones who are going to these masses.
00:19:30.600 Listen to this now.
00:19:33.720 They're basing this with high confidence on FBI investigations, local law enforcement agency
00:19:41.760 reporting and liaison reporting with varying degrees of corroboration and access.
00:19:49.200 Huh.
00:19:50.500 Now, the question is, what sources were you?
00:19:53.420 Are you telling me that the FBI is investigating Latin mass people who go there?
00:19:58.420 Well, it's you scroll down to the bottom of the sources that they've used, and it seems that
00:20:04.760 they're actually tracking them based on the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is a group
00:20:11.120 that was supposed to be designed to go after people like, I don't know, the Ku Klux Klan and
00:20:16.580 other actually violent groups.
00:20:18.940 But apparently, as you just saw in the clip there, that's not what they do now.
00:20:22.760 They just rather target anybody that they can use to raise money off of. 1.00
00:20:26.680 And apparently, though, there are idiots and woke psychopaths inside the FBI that are using. 1.00
00:20:36.260 And you can look at this this article. 1.00
00:20:38.660 They've gone and cited the SPLC.
00:20:41.960 They cite Salon dot com.
00:20:44.840 They cite an article by.
00:20:47.600 The Atlantic, I actually remember this article, it says it was talking about how people who pray
00:20:55.460 the rosary are extremists.
00:20:58.080 These are the sources being used by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to go after people.
00:21:04.840 These are the sources, the groups that they're using, the completely disgraced SPLC, which is
00:21:11.580 nothing but a far left hate group.
00:21:13.360 And you read this article from the FBI, this internal FBI report.
00:21:19.300 It's likely to increase in the next 12 to 24 months.
00:21:23.140 They give no explanation for that.
00:21:24.720 They give no explanation or quantifiable reasons.
00:21:27.740 There's no names in this.
00:21:28.800 They're not saying, hey, we're tracking a guy.
00:21:30.860 We're tracking a group.
00:21:32.040 No.
00:21:33.820 They're not tracking any one specific individual.
00:21:35.900 What they're tracking are Catholics.
00:21:39.160 Listen to this.
00:21:41.220 They might have.
00:21:44.540 Common cause interests, including legislation or judicial decisions in areas such as abortion
00:21:50.400 rights, immigration, affirmative action, LGBTQ.
00:21:56.160 It's I'm sorry.
00:21:58.300 You're tracking political movements and religious movements at this point.
00:22:02.400 And what are they also saying?
00:22:07.420 Opportunities for mitigation.
00:22:08.740 What does that mean?
00:22:10.340 Well, opportunities for mitigation.
00:22:11.940 It's simple.
00:22:12.500 What they're saying is they want the FBI to start infiltrating.
00:22:19.600 Latin mass.
00:22:21.600 That they want FBI agents informants.
00:22:23.700 And we know this is what's done.
00:22:24.720 We've seen this a million times.
00:22:26.820 But that's how these operations work.
00:22:28.600 And they want to put FBI agents into your Latin mass. 0.86
00:22:35.180 By the way, you'll be able to check that you little Catholic Catholic joke here, but you 0.74
00:22:40.260 will be able to to spot the FBI agents.
00:22:43.000 Why?
00:22:43.200 Because they'll be the ones getting communion in the hand at a Latin mass when everybody 0.95
00:22:48.060 else is getting it on the tongue.
00:22:49.440 If you guys are Catholic, you get that one. 0.99
00:22:52.600 But this is dangerous.
00:22:54.660 It's extremely dangerous.
00:22:56.220 And they're talking about FSF SSP houses of worship in the FBI, Richmond, AOR.
00:23:06.180 I'm sorry.
00:23:06.920 Are you going after like cartels and criminals and and drug gangs and people actually murdering
00:23:14.300 and causing crime on the street every day?
00:23:19.100 Because that's what I would want my law enforcement to be doing.
00:23:22.160 But instead, they're going in the Internet, they're accessing insane far left sites that
00:23:27.680 have been completely disgraced.
00:23:29.740 Ones that have been accused and found in court.
00:23:34.800 Of defamation.
00:23:36.520 To have conducted defamation and defamatory operations.
00:23:40.960 Rather than actually protect people.
00:23:44.300 Instead, they've been the FBI themselves have been co-opted by the far left.
00:23:48.900 And we know, of course, we've known that for years.
00:23:51.160 But here's another example of where they're moving the chains just a little bit further.
00:23:57.040 They're wearing the FBI like a skin suit. 0.99
00:24:00.320 And I've told you this before so many times that this began during the pandemic when so
00:24:05.000 many FBI analysts would sit at home watching CNN, watching QAnon stuff and say, oh, we assess
00:24:11.740 that QAnon is going to be this violent movement or something that there's QAnon cells going 0.89
00:24:18.540 all over.
00:24:19.600 Yeah, it's it's the it's the traditional Catholics that are responsible for the rise in violent 1.00
00:24:24.860 crime in America today. 0.87
00:24:25.940 It's traditional Catholics that are responsible for murders in the inner city. 1.00
00:24:29.640 It's traditional Catholics that are responsible for the mass shootings that we see going on. 1.00
00:24:35.260 Right.
00:24:35.440 It's it's all traditional Catholics that are responsible for this. 1.00
00:24:38.860 This is your FBI.
00:24:39.440 Yeah.
00:24:41.740 To be ashamed, this is a disgrace.
00:24:45.060 And the fact that our federal government is behind all of it really means you need to
00:24:51.980 take notice because this might not be you today, but it'll be you next.
00:24:58.300 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
