00:00:00.000 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, powered by Turning Point USA.
00:00:05.340 A crazy-eyed, clout-chasing Wiccan theater girl thinks that she can take down President Trump.
00:00:14.940 We've got a lot going on today. We're going to cover the latest out of East Palestine, Ohio.
00:00:20.360 People comparing it to the 9-11 first responders and the respiratory and later diseases that they had to deal with.
00:00:27.520 And then we finally have a huge update. AP is out with a new poll on Ukraine, Russia, and should the United States have a major role into it?
00:00:36.920 So much going on today. Folks, the Poso Daily Brief is completely free, and it is available to you right now to sign up for one email directly to your inbox every single day.

00:01:00.840 You can have a one-stop shop to find out what's on my mind, what's going into the show, and even stories that don't quite make it into the show.
00:01:07.580 The Poso Daily Brief. Humanevents.com slash Poso. Let's get into it.
00:01:11.000 Personally, want to hear from the former president.
00:01:23.720 I wanted to hear from the former president, but honestly, I kind of wanted to subpoena the former president because I got to swear everybody in.
00:01:29.840 And so I thought it'd be really cool to get 60 seconds with President Trump of me looking at him and being like,
00:01:36.000 Do you solemnly swear? And me getting to swear him in, I just, I kind of just thought that would be an awesome moment.
00:01:41.320 After everything that you've seen, what would your reaction be if the DA decides against bringing any charges after what you've seen?
00:01:47.480 I will be sad if nothing happens. Like, that's, that's about my only request there is, is for something to happen.
00:01:58.200 I don't necessarily know what it is. I'm not the legal expert. I'm not the judge. I'm not the lawyers.
00:02:03.100 But I, I will be frustrated if nothing happens. This was too much, too much information, too much of my time, too much of everyone's time, too much of their time.
00:02:15.040 Too much argument in, in court about getting people to appear before us. There was just too much for this to just be, oh, okay, we're good. Bye.
00:02:26.420 And if it was just a perjury charge, or perjury charges, would that be acceptable to you?
00:02:31.240 That's fine. I will be happy as long as something happens.
00:02:35.480 I just want something to happen. I'd be so frustrated if something doesn't happen.
00:02:45.140 Well, Emily Kors, Emily Kors, this individual who has appeared to us on multiple mainstream media networks, CNN, MSNBC, telling us how important it is that we indict President Trump.
00:03:09.620 And why is it important? You notice it's, it's very interesting to me that this Emily Kors, and give me one second here, because we're going to delve into some receipts on her background, who exactly she is.
00:03:21.140 And the, the fact of the matter is, you don't actually hear Emily Kors say anything about the justice, rule of law, order in society.
00:03:32.920 She doesn't say any of those things. She's having fun. She's having a great time. She wants to be there.
00:03:38.620 She has nothing to say about doing the work of the American people, setting things right, solving crimes.
00:03:46.440 Do you have any idea the amount of homicides right now in Atlanta that are going on?
00:03:53.120 But she doesn't seem to care about any of these actual, you know, murders, the spate of killings that we've seen in this country since the rise of Black Lives Matter and defund the police.
00:04:03.200 No, no, no problem with that, because she's very interested in getting President Trump.
00:04:07.880 That's the only thing on her mind. Actually, no, you know what?
00:04:12.360 I'm going to have to belay my last because there is something else on her mind.
00:04:16.160 And what is that? It's apparently Wicca, witchcraft and paganism.
00:04:20.620 Because on Twitter, some folks on Twitter pulled up her Pinterest page and she is a straight up black magic believing occultist who believes in witchcraft, Wicca, paganism, healing crystals, magic, green witchcraft, tarot cards, witchy gardens, grimoire ideas.
00:04:45.780 She has a book of shadows, sacred science.
00:04:51.280 Oh, we really have to get into the sacred science, casting circles, alchemy.
00:04:57.180 I don't even know what some of these things are. What is this?
00:04:59.540 The seven planetary metal. OK, we're not going to get into that.
00:05:04.580 This is a literal witch, a literal witch was in charge of determining whether President Trump should get in.
00:05:10.200 She's probably one of those people back from 2016 that was, you know, trying to cast spells on President Trump to to stop him from, you know, becoming president after after the election.
00:05:20.380 I was going to say something right now. The 90s church moms were right about Harry Potter.
00:05:27.120 I'm sorry. They were right. 90s church moms were completely right about Harry Potter.
00:05:32.000 There are a lot of priests that spoke out about Harry Potter.
00:05:34.240 They said this is a gateway. It's going to open up things.
00:05:37.240 And people thought they were silly. People said, oh, it's just a fun book.
00:05:41.220 It's just a cute thing. Yeah. Well, guess what?
00:05:44.240 Now we've got a Harry Potter fanatic who is trying to indict.
00:05:52.240 For president, United States, who, by the way, is planning to run for president again.
00:05:58.760 So in order to get him to stop running, to get him out of there to prevent him from seeking for their office,
00:06:03.700 they're trying to throw this indictment on him, which, by the way, doesn't actually affect that.
00:06:07.060 But it's another sort of story. This case.
00:06:11.640 All of which had to do, by the way, with a phone call that President Trump made to Georgia officials.
00:06:16.420 And he was saying, find evidence of fraud. I believe there's evidence of fraud.
00:06:20.280 I want you to investigate it. I want you to find it. I want you to get all the receipts.
00:06:23.420 So he's saying the phone call. And they're saying that he was, you know,
00:06:28.480 trying to swing an election by making fake votes.
00:06:33.460 I don't want to get into all of it right now. Point being is.
00:06:38.940 Nobody forced her to do this. Nobody forced her to go on all these these interviews.
00:06:43.920 Nobody forced her to have all of this.
00:06:46.920 But where are we as a society now where you've got people like her?
00:06:52.740 That have been put up by the Fulton County D.A., that have been put up by these woke prosecutors to say it's not us.
00:06:59.740 It's not us filing these indictments and prosecuting.
00:07:03.160 We're doing the work of the people. Does this seem like a serious person to you?
00:07:07.980 Does this seem like someone that we should all take seriously?
00:07:11.180 Does this someone that seems like does it seem like someone that's taking these matters of state very close to heart?
00:07:19.380 No, this is ridiculous. It's just sad.
00:07:23.100 It's had the whole thing is an argument against the 19th Amendment.
00:07:25.700 It's very sad. And.
00:07:29.060 Folks, buckle up, because this is who we are.
00:07:31.480 A national divorce ain't happening.
00:07:33.980 This is our country.
00:07:35.480 We're all in here together and we have to live with it.
00:07:39.000 You know, every single day you see a new story in the news about somebody who was the victim of a violent crime.
00:07:43.960 Some of you think you're ready to defend against evil.
00:07:46.000 And the truth is, you're probably not.
00:07:47.380 That is only possible if you train and train often.
00:07:50.340 But with the inflation causing the price of ammo to skyrocket, along with gas, getting to the range isn't as easy or affordable as it used to be.
00:07:58.580 Thankfully, there is a better way to train with your firearm in the comfort and safety of your own home.
00:08:03.560 It's called the iTarget Pro.
00:08:05.340 This revolutionary system develops muscle memory, reaction speed, sight alignment, trigger control, and much more.
00:08:10.160 Even better, it costs less than a day at the range.
00:08:12.840 Right now, save 10% plus free shipping with promo code POSO when you go to iTargetPro.com.
00:08:18.720 When you get yours, simply download the iTarget app, load the laser bullet into your firearm, and start training.
00:08:24.440 iTarget comes in most calibers from 9mm to .223, so you can train with almost any firearm.
00:08:29.800 This is the easiest and most cost-effective way to train and pays for itself in a single day.
00:08:33.180 That's the letter iTargetPro.com, iTargetPro.com, promo code POSO.
00:08:38.620 Doctors say the number of 9-11 related cancers is on the rise.
00:08:42.800 As CBS 2's Jennifer McGlogan reports, the consequences of being exposed to toxic materials can take years to emerge.
00:08:50.420 I just came from my radiologist.
00:08:52.180 We spoke with retired NYPD Sergeant Robert Garrity, age 53, moments after meeting with his doctor.
00:08:58.460 I have a couple of weeks to make the decision whether I'm going to have surgery or radiation or a combination of both.
00:09:03.620 Garrity was just diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer emerging 21 years after 9-11, linked to the terrorist attacks in his weeks inhaling toxic ash at Ground Zero.
00:09:15.740 He and hundreds of other first responders are shocked that they're now developing cancerous tumors.
00:09:22.000 East Palestine, Ohio.
00:09:24.460 The experts are saying everything's fine.
00:09:27.540 There's nothing to worry about.
00:09:29.060 Just go about your business.
00:09:30.820 There's nothing to see here.
00:09:34.020 But we all know that's not true.
00:09:35.900 Because the lawyer, by the way, for the 9-11 cancer victims, has now come out to the East Palestine residence.
00:09:42.680 And he said, guess what?
00:09:43.960 You are right to be afraid.
00:09:46.320 And warns that the toxic train derailment could cause an explosion of illnesses for years to come.
00:09:53.500 This, of course, is Michael Barris, who represented thousands whose cancer has been tied to 9-11 dust.
00:10:01.860 This was the 9-11 first responders.
00:10:03.240 The same ones, by the way, who in their lawsuit against Christine Todd Whitman, who had been the director of the EPA at the time, that was found to have been deliberately misleading about the threat to the first responders.
00:10:17.400 In terms of all of this.
00:10:19.280 So, let's go look.
00:10:20.940 Let's go look.
00:10:21.820 To date, 69 different types of cancers have been linked to the attacks at Ground Zero.
00:10:28.380 And this is the toxic dust.
00:10:29.600 And keep in mind, this wasn't necessarily vinyl chloride, what we're talking about in East Palestine.
00:10:34.340 I mean, this is 9-11.
00:10:35.560 This is so the jet fuel.
00:10:37.120 This was any of the material that were found in the World Trade Centers that had been destroyed.
00:10:42.440 Just that huge amounts of industrial fluid, industrial substances that all mixed together, obviously, with the jet fuel set on fire, leading to this huge toxic soup that people were, by the way, willing to go into.
00:10:59.140 We're willing to go into to try to save lives and try to see if there were people that were buried under the rebel.
00:11:04.120 Absolute, actual, national American heroes.
00:11:08.480 And the point isn't that they didn't know the risk.
00:11:10.480 The point is they were lied to.
00:11:12.740 The same way that the experts tell us right now that there's no problem in East Palestine.
00:11:20.220 The same experts who last year were forcing people to wear masks at the beach that were shutting down skate parks with sand that were taking off the, you know, the basketball hoops, the basketball court.
00:11:34.740 I remember I actually remember taking my kids to a playground once during the lockdowns and the playground itself.
00:11:41.100 The equipment had like police tape on it, on the playground for children outside, outside, an outdoor playground.
00:11:49.260 I want to lose indoor deals when the outdoor playgrounds.
00:11:51.340 I remember we actually had I forget if I told the story.
00:11:53.980 We had a ski trip planned.
00:11:55.380 We had a ski trip planned up at Lake Placid for me and a couple of friends.
00:12:00.980 And we all chipped in and we were going to go skiing together.
00:12:04.200 And the pandemic hit the lockdown set and they shut down a ski slope.
00:12:08.340 It's a mountain.
00:12:09.160 How are you going to pass that on a mountain?
00:12:13.360 It's a big mountain.
00:12:15.360 You're outdoors.
00:12:17.040 You're in the sunshine.
00:12:19.520 And they shut down the mountain.
00:12:21.260 So the same people in terms of all of this.
00:12:25.020 Are saying we're supposed to be completely fine.
00:12:28.900 And so the question before all of us is who's actually going to be blamed for this?
00:12:33.920 Well, I know someone we can blame for not caring.
00:12:35.400 His name is President Joe Biden, because Joe Biden is over in Ukraine.
00:12:39.160 Right now, Joe Biden does not care about the people of this country.
00:12:43.320 And I got to say, you know, President Trump's there.
00:12:45.940 Pete Buttigieg might be going there.
00:12:47.380 Where's Jon Stewart?
00:12:48.780 Look, Jon, I know you and I have had our differences in the past, but we've been able to come together on big issues.
00:12:53.900 I know you were a massive advocate for the 9-11 first responders.
00:12:57.120 Huge advocate for the burn pits.
00:12:59.280 Jon, come to East Palestine.
00:13:02.340 I'll come with you.
00:13:03.360 We'll go together.
00:13:04.620 This is something that should be beyond politics.
00:13:08.720 And I hope you'll agree.
00:13:10.260 And I saw some people arguing with me about what does America first mean?
00:13:14.960 I said, it's very simple.
00:13:16.000 There's lots of great issues out in the world.
00:13:18.100 You can be anti-woke.
00:13:19.260 You can go and do all these different things.
00:13:21.700 But America first has a set definition.
00:13:24.620 And America first, me, it is trade.
00:13:27.360 It is immigration.
00:13:28.260 And it's foreign policy.
00:13:29.620 And it makes sure that at the front of it, that all of those policies are done to benefit the people who live within the confines of the United States now.
00:13:42.720 Like the people of East Palestine.
00:13:45.360 Like the people of the entire Rust Belt that has been decimated by design.
00:13:50.380 By design, by Wall Street and the VCs and everybody else who says, you know what, we can make a lot more money just by having our manufacturing be shipped off to China.
00:14:01.780 We'll go do that.
00:14:03.220 We'll make more money.
00:14:04.500 We'll make more money on the long run.
00:14:06.880 Then what we're going to do is open up the borders to low-skilled labor so that all of this comes in.
00:14:12.680 We'll be able to pay those people less.
00:14:14.420 Then we'll even open the borders to high-skilled labor because then we can pay those people less.
00:14:18.280 Then we'll be more competition in the market, which, of course, is so much better for us to be able to lower wages, lower artificially wages in this country.
00:14:29.460 That's always been the goal.
00:14:31.400 And so when I hear people talk about, well, why don't those people just move?
00:14:35.420 Why don't those people just do it?
00:14:36.440 Shut up.
00:14:38.220 How about you do your job and actually care about the people of this country?
00:14:41.680 How about you do your job and actually care about the people who live here now?
00:14:44.500 That is your job, number one.
00:14:45.820 So you're already seeing Governor Shapiro from Pennsylvania and Governor DeWine of Ohio, and they're going to try to scapegoat everyone.
00:14:52.880 First, they try to blame Trump, but that got immediately debunked, this breaking regulation that turns out wouldn't have anything to do with it.
00:14:59.360 Then they're trying to – okay, now it's Norfolk Southern.
00:15:01.460 Norfolk Southern.
00:15:01.900 Well, at the end of the day, though, at the end of the day – and to be sure, Norfolk Southern absolutely has some blame here.
00:15:07.880 There's a lot of blame here.
00:15:08.640 But at the end of the day, you signed off on the controlled burn.
00:15:14.520 They poured these chemicals into trenches and then set them on fire.
00:15:21.040 Sounds an awful lot like the burn pits of Afghanistan, only worse.
00:15:25.300 Sounds an awful lot like the fumes from 9-11, the 9-11 dust.
00:15:30.320 Couldn't transport it out of there.
00:15:32.620 Couldn't find any other way to deal with this.
00:15:36.100 Now you've contaminated your waterways.
00:15:37.680 Who knows what's going on in the air?
00:15:40.780 And the people of that area, I would be worried.
00:15:45.180 I would absolutely be worried about what's going to happen down the road.
00:15:50.260 Did you just kill this town?
00:15:52.900 And how far is this going to spread?
00:15:56.560 Look, folks, as the parallel economy continues to grow, we've seen a whole bunch of conservative coffee companies come and go.
00:16:03.940 And look, I did hold off for a little bit.
00:16:05.420 I held off until I found one that I really liked.
00:16:06.940 And that's why I'm happy to tell you about Blackout Coffee.
00:16:10.220 Blackout Coffee is not enough to simply taste great.
00:16:12.760 You want to be proud to support the company knowing that they align with our values.
00:16:16.640 And that's why I'm telling you to give them a try.
00:16:19.460 Look, I tried Blackout Coffee.
00:16:21.360 I like Blackout Coffee.
00:16:22.580 I drank it this morning.
00:16:23.900 My wife drinks it.
00:16:24.720 We give it to my father-in-law.
00:16:25.860 We actually really like this stuff.
00:16:27.620 I've tried the medium roast so far.
00:16:29.040 I haven't tried the dark roast yet.
00:16:30.620 So we're going to finish out the medium roast.
00:16:31.960 Then we're going to go dark, try the dark roast.
00:16:34.240 But I'm really enjoying it.
00:16:35.660 Giving me plenty of caffeine, plenty of energy in the morning.
00:16:38.220 And especially when you have two toddlers like we do, you're chasing them around all day.
00:16:41.920 You absolutely need it.
00:16:43.100 So that is why I am proud to personally recommend Blackout Coffee.
00:16:46.520 This is a coffee company that's 100% committed to conservative values.
00:16:50.880 From sourcing the beans to the roasting process, customer support, shipping.
00:16:54.860 They have an incredible work ethic and accept no compromise on taste or quality.
00:16:58.800 What do you do?
00:16:59.220 You go to blackoutcoffee.com slash POSO and use promo code POSO for 20% off your first order.
00:17:04.360 Stop giving your money to woke companies that hate you.
00:17:07.200 Stay true to our values.
00:17:08.680 President Biden!
00:17:10.120 Putin!
00:17:11.120 President Vladimir Putin!
00:17:28.120 Autocrats only understand one word.
00:17:31.120 No. No. No.
00:17:34.120 No, you will not take my country.
00:17:39.120 No, you will not take my freedom.
00:17:41.120 No, you will not take my future.
00:17:43.120 And I'll repeat tonight what I said last year in this same place.
00:17:47.120 A dictator that I'm rebuilding an empire
00:17:51.120 will never be able to ease the people's love of liberty.
00:17:56.120 Brutality will never grind down the will of the free.
00:18:00.120 And Ukraine, Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia.
00:18:06.120 So the Associated Press is out with a new poll all about
00:18:11.120 support for U.S. involvement one year.
00:18:14.120 So we're on the one year, the cusp of the one year anniversary
00:18:18.120 of the war in Ukraine.
00:18:20.120 Or you could you could say this this current phase of the war in Ukraine
00:18:24.120 because many people pointed out this all goes back as
00:18:28.120 as President Trump pointed out earlier this week,
00:18:30.120 goes all the way back to the Maidan uprising.
00:18:33.120 And President Trump has publicly stated that
00:18:36.120 the Obama State Department was behind that uprising.
00:18:39.120 We've talked about at length here on the program.
00:18:41.120 We've called it a coup.
00:18:42.120 We've called it a textbook coup,
00:18:44.120 as the former founder of Stratfor even once said.
00:18:47.120 But let's see.
00:18:49.120 Should America have a role in the war?
00:18:54.120 Only 26% of Americans, according to the Associated Press,
00:19:00.120 say that America should have a major role in this war.
00:19:04.120 That includes 40% of Democrats, 19% of Republicans.
00:19:09.120 Only 19 or excuse me, 17, 17% of Republicans, only 17%.
00:19:15.120 So let's go through this on on specifics.
00:19:18.120 You're seeing decreased support for economic sanctions,
00:19:22.120 decreased support for refugees across the board,
00:19:26.120 decreased support for providing weapons,
00:19:29.120 even decreased support for an absolutely decreased support
00:19:32.120 for sending government funds directly to Ukraine,
00:19:34.120 with the exception of liberals.
00:19:36.120 Liberals, if anything, they are the only group,
00:19:39.120 according to the Associated Press,
00:19:41.120 that is still continuing to have this full support.
00:19:45.120 For liberals, it's 83% for sanctions,
00:19:49.120 73% for refugees, 63% for weapons.
00:19:54.120 And to be short, conservatives are at 42% for refugees as well.
00:19:57.120 So it's not like it's that low.
00:19:59.120 63% for weapons to Ukraine is liberals,
00:20:03.120 and 59% liberals support sending government funds directly
00:20:08.120 to the government of Ukraine.
00:20:10.120 Now, here's a really interesting cross tab.
00:20:14.120 Limiting the damage to the U.S. economy has become a larger priority
00:20:20.120 than effective sanctions against Russia.
00:20:22.120 Let me break that down.
00:20:23.120 So in March of 2022, when this poll was first asked,
00:20:26.120 this question was first taken by the Associated Press,
00:20:29.120 and I love that they've matched it up here.
00:20:32.120 At that point, the overall support for sanctions on Russia was 55%
00:20:41.120 versus 42% said we need to limit the damage to the U.S. economy.
00:20:46.120 Now, those numbers are completely upside down one year later.
00:20:51.120 Now, sanctioning Russia is at 36% versus limiting damage to the U.S. economy,
00:20:58.120 59%, including 68% for conservatives.
00:21:02.120 So that means, and by the way, 49% for liberals.
00:21:05.120 So what does this mean?
00:21:06.120 People understand that giving this blank check,
00:21:09.120 sending tens of billions of dollars,
00:21:12.120 as much as 60 to 70 to 80 billion dollars,
00:21:15.120 a point where we actually had, I had the IMF sent one of their flunkies after me on Twitter
00:21:21.120 and was arguing with me about this.
00:21:23.120 That's how terrified they are because they realize that the poll numbers
00:21:27.120 are completely upside down from where they were.
00:21:30.120 And people have now begun to understand that us sending money overseas
00:21:35.120 to yet another forever war.
00:21:37.120 We got President Biden over in Europe declaring another forever war.
00:21:40.120 It's completely unpopular.
00:21:44.120 And at the same time, people are asking, are starting to ask themselves,
00:21:48.120 is this affecting us?
00:21:49.120 Is this the reason gas prices are up so much?
00:21:52.120 Is this the reason that inflation is up like crazy?
00:21:54.120 That prices are up all over the place, the supermarkets,
00:21:58.120 because you can't have globalization and put this run on supply chains
00:22:03.120 like we're doing right now.
00:22:04.120 You can't do it.
00:22:05.120 And at the same time, you can't just keep printing and printing and printing
00:22:08.120 in terms of all of this.
00:22:10.120 And so this is why, by the way, you're seeing the neocons lash out the way they are this way.
00:22:14.120 And Biden, at the end of the day, he's just a neocon, too.
00:22:16.120 He believes that he's actually obsessed with this stuff.
00:22:19.120 I said this.
00:22:20.120 I was on Judge Impolitano yesterday.
00:22:21.120 I said Biden is completely obsessed.
00:22:23.120 He is emotionally invested.
00:22:25.120 Obviously, he's never going to change.
00:22:26.120 He's never going to change the position.
00:22:28.120 He's never going to change where he is.
00:22:29.120 He's never going to consider simply calling for peace,
00:22:33.120 calling for a ceasefire for an end to the fighting.
00:22:35.120 He's not going to call for any of that.
00:22:37.120 And why?
00:22:39.120 Because he is obsessed because there has been social conditioning in this country for generations
00:22:45.120 to be obsessed with regime change in Russia, taking over Russia, defeating or going to war
00:22:51.120 with Russia and defeating them, et cetera, et cetera.
00:22:53.120 For what?
00:22:54.120 They never quite explain that.
00:22:55.120 Never quite explain for what or how that helps the United States.
00:22:58.120 And that's why we say that is the difference between America last and America first, because
00:23:03.120 an America first policy is to say, what is the best outcome for the American people?
00:23:09.120 And what is the best outcome for our allies in this situation?
00:23:12.120 Well, the best outcome for the American people is that we're able to have world peace and not
00:23:18.120 have this situation.
00:23:19.120 We are escalating into a two front global conflict.
00:23:24.120 We are following exactly Meersheimer's warning.
00:23:28.120 We are following exactly what he said, that this.
00:23:33.120 The future is now rapidly becoming a reality where China and Russia are now working closer
00:23:40.120 and closer every single day.
00:23:42.120 And even President Zelensky is talking about it now.
00:23:44.120 Maybe he should go and listen to Dr. Meersheimer.
