Corrupt politicians in both parties spent trillions, killed millions, made billions for themselves
00:00:55.520
in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, fighting wars that sent thousands of our sons and daughters,
00:01:01.140
people my age to die, in wars that did not advance anyone's interests.
00:01:05.440
Do you want a leader from a different generation who's going to put this country first,
00:01:09.400
or do you want Dick Cheney in three-inch heels?
00:01:14.120
This morning, tensions escalating across the Middle East and the United States increasingly
00:01:18.800
involved, responding after U.S. bases have come under attack from Iranian-backed forces.

Aren't we all tired of the deep state bullsh**t?
00:02:30.620
This should be Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, and Elon Musk.
00:02:33.660
We'd have ten times the viewership asking questions that GOP primary voters actually care about
00:02:41.860
This is Libby Emmons coming to you live with Human Events Daily, where I am sitting in for
00:02:47.320
A few things were made clear on the GOP debate stage last night.
00:02:50.420
One is that the schism in the Republican Party between the establishment Warhawks and the MAGA
00:02:54.640
base is growing even deeper as we head into 2022.
00:02:58.640
And the other is that Vivek Ramaswamy asked the most compelling question of the night.
00:03:02.940
A lot of questions were asked at the RNC debate.
00:03:05.760
Many of them were asked by NBC's Kristen Welker, Lester Holt, Hugh Hewitt, but Vivek's question,
00:03:12.420
He questioned RNC chair Ronna McDonald about her ability to lead a party that has seen nothing
00:03:16.560
but losses, even inviting her to come up onto the stage and explain herself, and he asked
00:03:21.380
Welker, Holt, and Hewitt why they were the ones asking questions.
00:03:25.480
He said that there was no reason to see what were essentially partisan pundits questioning
00:03:29.480
conservative candidates for president, and he's right.
00:03:31.840
A recent report out from Media Matters showed that the big three networks have barely covered
00:03:36.680
the GOP, and when they have, it has mostly been on Trump's indictments, and of that coverage,
00:03:44.280
Why is the conservative platform being represented on the national stage by a partisan network
00:03:50.220
Why, as Vivek asked, aren't Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, or even Elon Musk out there asking
00:03:56.260
Did the nation really get a fair look at these candidates who seek the highest office last
00:04:01.980
Why is it that the Republicans are seeking legitimacy from a media enterprise that has consistently
00:04:06.040
misrepresented and lied about their values and positions?
00:04:09.180
Do the Republicans have no respect for their own side?
00:04:11.940
Why are these the people who were chosen to suss out the views and the message of the GOP?
00:04:16.200
It is hard to believe that the moderators even thought it was their job to help the nation
00:04:20.700
understand the conservative perspective, a perspective that has been censored, suppressed,
00:04:24.920
and misrepresented consistently across mainstream media.
00:04:30.500
There is mounting evidence that the Biden administration has colluded with media and social media to
00:04:38.200
Why does the RNC think that their job is to appeal first and foremost to the people that
00:04:43.720
hate them, and only secondarily to try to construct a cohesive message for the party and its constituents?
00:04:49.440
It doesn't make any sense, and everyone should be pretty much horrified that this is the way
00:04:54.200
conservative values are being presented in the United States by the party that claims to
00:05:01.400
It's almost as though, as Vivek said, losing is the goal.
00:05:04.980
And judging by 2018, as he pointed out, 2020, 2022, and even just this past Tuesday, when
00:05:11.880
Republicans were given another solid defeat across the United States, you sort of get the
00:05:16.180
sense that perhaps the goal of the RNC is not to win elections, but to belittle and demean
00:05:21.040
their base until their base gives up and abandons the voting booths entirely.
00:05:26.180
One thing is clear, the force that is missing for victory is MAGA.
00:05:30.280
And while Vivek Ramaswamy clearly won the debate, Donald Trump will definitely be the nominee.
00:05:37.720
And we've got a great show coming up for you today.
00:05:40.300
We are going to be talking about what's been going on on college campuses.
00:05:43.440
If you've been watching that footage, it's been absolutely insane to see on American
00:05:48.840
University and George Washington University and all over the place, students coming out
00:05:55.060
and standing against Israel, against Jewish students, and for Hamas.
00:06:00.080
So we're going to definitely be talking about that.
00:06:02.260
We're going to be talking about some of the crazy laws that have been happening in California,
00:06:07.240
specifically the ones that are taking away parents' rights.
00:06:37.240
On college campuses across the U.S., we've been seeing students praising terrorists and
00:06:56.580
At George Washington University, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, American University,
00:07:01.240
University of Washington, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UVA, UPenn, NYU, Cooper Union, Oberlin, Wesleyan,
00:07:08.460
Penn State, Texas A&M, Sarah Lawrence, and dozens of others, students have held protests
00:07:15.200
They use slogans that call for the eradication of Israel.
00:07:17.920
They claim Israelis should go back to where they came from.
00:07:20.220
And they tear down missing posters of those 250 people who were kidnapped by Hamas on October
00:07:27.080
And they claim Hamas is simply fighting to destroy their oppressors.
00:07:30.120
And these students, these young Americans, speak with the authority that comes from obtaining
00:07:33.920
a so-called top-tier education in the richest nation on earth.
00:07:38.240
What's shocking, however, is not just their anti-Semitism and their poor understanding of
00:07:41.960
the facts, but the complete and total immersion of a worldview that sees only victims and oppressors.
00:07:47.260
We know the origins of this worldview and how it has come to take root on campuses.
00:07:51.980
And there's plenty of terminology that we use to explain it.
00:07:54.760
Critical race theory, Marxism, socialism, communism.
00:07:58.080
We know that university professors who are now bestowing their legacy on these kids are
00:08:01.920
steeped in the victim-oppressor worldview themselves, going back to the 1960s.
00:08:05.980
And the educators themselves took up this worldview and imparted it to American kids as early as
00:08:11.260
1989 when Peggy McIntosh released her absurd missive on the invisible knapsack.
00:08:17.620
I saw the beginnings of this when I was in high school, and it was termed political correctness.
00:08:21.980
The idea that there were certain things you should not say and that the metric for what
00:08:25.620
a person should say or should not say was based on their own skin color, relative privilege in
00:08:29.780
society, and the relative victimhood of the person you were talking to or about.
00:08:34.080
Political correctness was a manifestation of the oppressor-victim worldview, and it seemed silly.
00:08:38.620
It seemed like something we could overcome as a culture.
00:08:41.080
But as the years wore on, we ended up in this place where our American culture has been derided
00:08:45.640
and undermined as something that stemmed from the oppressor.
00:08:48.360
And those who claim to be on the side of the victim are more than willing to cast it off,
00:08:52.540
destroy it, and every good thing that came from it.
00:08:55.500
Now we have this glaring problem in our educational system that has transformed the United States
00:08:59.500
in these kids' minds from the ultimate benefactor to the ultimate oppressor.
00:09:04.020
And that worldview is able to be exploited by those who hate the U.S., who hate these kids,
00:09:10.740
and who want nothing more than our own destruction.
00:09:13.520
This is happening to such a degree that the scope of it is hard to comprehend.
00:09:17.100
And let's not forget the revelation that CNN, the New York Times, Reuters, and the AP all
00:09:22.100
had freelancers embedded with Hamas when they massacred civilians on October 7th.
00:09:26.880
This is the media landscape that is supporting these views and literally bolstering the perspective
00:09:33.680
Groups that have obtained charitable status from the IRS or are operating under not-for-profit
00:09:38.280
umbrella groups like the Tides Foundation are funding and organizing anti-Semitic hate
00:09:44.200
They are indoctrinating our students, our future leaders, and are doing so with the support
00:09:52.040
These groups are funneling money into the U.S. to turn our children against their homeland.
00:09:56.380
And much of what they're doing looks shockingly similar to what we saw in the summer of 2020
00:10:01.060
when fiery but mostly peaceful protests crisscrossed the nation.
00:10:05.520
Here to talk to us about all of that is Ari Hoffman.
00:10:17.480
So you were actually on the University of Washington campus just recently, and you saw some of these
00:10:23.900
You saw these kids just calling for basically the death of everyone in Israel.
00:10:28.080
And the Jewish students on campus were really disturbed by this.
00:10:34.280
So what I saw was a lot of activists came to campus to support this student-led group,
00:10:39.380
which is these students against, for a Palestine as its own independent state, they say.
00:10:44.880
But really, they're a bunch of Hamas supporters.
00:10:46.800
And what happened was they attracted every activist in Seattle, be them from BLM or whether
00:10:54.600
I saw faces of people I saw from the 2020 riots and the Autonomous Zone wandering around
00:10:59.540
Because really, there's this intersectional coalition on the left which hates America.
00:11:05.200
This is unfortunately nothing new to the Jewish world.
00:11:07.780
We've been tracking this stuff for the last 20 years.
00:11:09.780
We've been seeing this kind of curriculum work itself, as you mentioned, you saw it when
00:11:14.100
you were in high school, work itself into the American education system.
00:11:23.240
Black Lives Matter was replacing all the stuff from Martin Luther King Day in Seattle public
00:11:28.220
schools with stuff about Marxism, with stuff that hated America, talking about oppressors,
00:11:35.020
And they were talking about all the Marxist advisors to Martin Luther King Jr., not anything
00:11:41.320
So on MLK Day, they weren't even discussing him.
00:11:46.680
They use it as a gateway to get in their hateful messaging.
00:11:49.700
Something else is there's a lot of afterschool clubs that are on high school and college campuses
00:11:54.340
that are paid for by outside agencies, be it allies of Hamas, be it allies of the Chinese
00:12:00.580
A lot of this money is coming into educational institutions because they want the downfall
00:12:06.300
And this is something Jews have seen for a long time.
00:12:08.740
Why do you think that American institutions have been so vulnerable to this kind of funding
00:12:17.020
It's the same kind of stuff we saw in the 1960s.
00:12:19.420
This is the same kind of radical anti-American stuff we saw with critical theory, which was
00:12:24.260
a tool of the Soviet Union to combat capitalism.
00:12:27.600
Now they just put a new word into it, critical race theory.
00:12:31.320
They use it to create this culture of people who feel victimized.
00:12:37.700
They're going to lash out at their victimizers in their mind.
00:12:40.480
But here they're trying to make their victimizers America.
00:12:45.020
They're trying to say it's anybody but the people who are doing it themselves.
00:12:47.960
That's why you see LGBTQ activists supporting Hamas when Hamas would throw them off roofs in
00:12:54.060
That's one of the things that makes absolutely no sense to me.
00:12:56.340
You see queers for Palestine and you're just looking at this.
00:13:01.980
And so I started looking up some of the laws in Gaza regarding homosexuality.
00:13:07.540
And you get 10 years in prison for homosexuality.
00:13:10.080
And you see all of these signs that are like reproductive justice for Palestine.
00:13:14.560
And so I looked that up and I was like, oh, is abortion accessible in the Palestinian territories?
00:13:20.740
And you look at it and you're like, no, it turns out that that's not legal.
00:13:28.140
And of course, abortion is legal if the life of the mother is at risk, if the doctor approves
00:13:35.020
And in cases where there's fetal abnormalities, the parents can decide to terminate the child,
00:13:40.880
which of course we know is how Iceland ended up with 0% Down syndrome in their country anyway.
00:13:47.080
So, yeah, it's actually been really surprising.
00:13:50.380
Why do you think that there's been this total disconnect between this one ideology of complete
00:13:57.860
sexual and gender liberation embracing the ideology of essentially racism and hatred?
00:14:08.960
It's like chickens holding up signs that say chickens for KFC or cows holding up signs that
00:14:14.640
In some cases, ignorance, they just don't know.
00:14:18.700
How much do you and I know about the politics of Mexico or anything in South America?
00:14:23.500
We know what we need to know to cover the border and that's about it.
00:14:26.760
So how much do people really know about a country that's on the other side of the world?
00:14:30.400
But in some cases it's about the ends justify the means.
00:14:34.020
They know exactly what they're saying and they want the downfall of America.
00:14:38.040
What they don't realize is that Hamas would cut their heads off too.
00:14:41.780
So they see themselves as allies right now and don't know that Hamas wants their death.
00:14:46.320
The Saturday Night Live in Israel, they have their own version of it.
00:14:50.460
They did a great parody sketch over the weekend which has these college kids talking to a Hamas
00:14:55.620
member where they're saying, oh, we love you so much.
00:14:57.760
And he's literally calling for their deaths and they're too dumb to comprehend what he's
00:15:01.840
So, yeah, that's another thing is you were looking at this yesterday for the Postmillennial,
00:15:06.740
the photographers who were embedded with Hamas on October 7th.
00:15:13.240
What did you discover about the relationship between these freelancers and CNN, the New York
00:15:22.020
So it seems like all those outlets took whoever was willing to give them pictures and made them
00:15:30.860
And meanwhile, these guys were not just embedded with the terrorists.
00:15:35.660
There's tweets where they are celebrating what was happening.
00:15:43.180
There's tweets where they are celebrating the massacre that's going on in Israel.
00:15:47.500
There's some tweets where they're talking about planning the massacre that's going on in
00:15:51.960
And all these media outlets, due to the backlash, have come out with these statements.
00:15:57.600
But when I reached out to them and said, what's your vetting process for these journalists?
00:16:06.840
And let's not forget that also all these media outlets, since this expose came out from
00:16:12.100
Honest Reporting, which first exposed it, have been removing the photo credits because
00:16:16.780
they don't want you seeing who took these pictures.
00:16:18.640
There are so many of these quote unquote journalists that are now, shall we call them guests of
00:16:23.920
the Israeli government because they were actually terrorists carrying around grenades, attacking
00:16:32.080
If you're a journalist and you're there to document things, let's give them benefit of
00:16:37.160
That still doesn't remove you from being a human being.
00:16:45.700
We need to help people because we're human beings.
00:16:47.600
And they didn't because they were directly involved in it.
00:16:52.680
So at the point when they were embedded with these terrorists, they had known ahead of time
00:17:00.700
I mean, to what extent do you think the media outlets that bought the images, do you think
00:17:05.640
that they ever questioned these photographers about what they knew and when they knew it?
00:17:12.500
They probably just said, what's the location of this?
00:17:14.740
Because let's not forget that going back to the last time there was a conflict between
00:17:19.260
Israel and Hamas, Israel blew up the Associated Press building after they evacuated it.
00:17:27.260
They were just, the AP was like, hey, how dare you?
00:17:32.160
And then it came out that it turned out that they were sharing basically office space, essentially.
00:17:38.380
It's the worst kept secret in the Gaza Strip that Hamas says to journalists, here's what
00:17:44.640
Here's what you're going to report, or we're going to kick you out, or we're going to kill
00:17:48.620
And of course, they shared offices with the AP.
00:17:50.680
There's big satellite dishes on the roof, which they were using.
00:17:57.300
And you notice the mainstream media isn't picking up this story because it's embarrassing
00:18:00.960
for them because most of them do the same thing.
00:18:03.260
So what would happen was, if they point to these guys and go, hey, you did it, they're
00:18:11.640
Well, yeah, because they are the ones that get all the funding, and they get out there,
00:18:17.540
Yeah, that's really stunning to see that happen.
00:18:21.320
And it is really also quite a thing to see what's going on on campuses and how similar it
00:18:27.040
is to what was going on on campuses in 2020 as well.
00:18:33.680
These are influences, and they're friends of mine.
00:18:48.000
We have this from humanevents.com, which you can go check out.
00:18:54.100
Spain's right-wing party, Vox, the co-founder of that party, was shot in the face on the
00:19:00.660
way to protest the socialist takeover of Spain.
00:19:09.780
And he was shot after leaving his home in downtown Madrid.
00:19:18.300
He is projected to survive after having been shot in the face by a man in a motorcycle helmet
00:19:24.860
who then jumped on a motorcycle after he was shot and rode off.
00:19:30.200
It took place about 1.30 p.m. on the Núñez de Balboa Street in Salamanca.
00:19:35.120
And the attacker was a small man who took off, as I said, on a motorcycle.
00:19:42.380
And what happened after that is that the Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, you know, conveyed
00:19:52.440
But also the head of the Vox Party had said that he is looking for a mass mobilization
00:19:58.600
in the streets to protest this socialist takeover.
00:20:02.840
And there's been a lot of protests recently stemming from a call for amnesty for some
00:20:11.960
And yeah, so that's actually been pretty shocking.
00:20:15.680
They've been out there calling for Spain to be considered a Christian nation as opposed
00:20:21.560
And this is something, of course, that we will continue to be tracking at humanevents.com.
00:20:27.000
And it does mirror some of what's been going on across Europe with the influx of migrants
00:20:34.560
In Germany, we've seen that in London as well and in France.
00:20:38.620
And there's been so many protests coming from Muslim quarters in those nations.
00:20:44.760
And it looks like Spain is hoping to stave off some of that as well.
00:20:48.760
And of course, here in the United States, some more breaking news we have that's sort
00:20:54.440
We had Marjorie Taylor Greene today in the House of Representatives.
00:20:58.640
She brought a resolution to impeach the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
00:21:05.780
And though she has called for his impeachment several times before, what makes it interesting
00:21:10.500
this time is that two of her constituents from her home county in Georgia were actually just
00:21:19.740
So they were traveling from Georgia to Mexico, and their car was smashed by a car that was
00:21:26.880
driven by a human smuggler who was carrying illegal immigrants from the border.
00:21:37.180
And she said that it was time to impeach him for high crimes and misdemeanors.
00:21:43.260
And those constituents were Jose and Isabel Lerma from her district.
00:21:48.460
And the human smugglers actually, what's really interesting is that a lot of times the human
00:21:57.520
And the cartels advertise on TikTok and other places to get Americans to come pick up illegal
00:22:02.920
immigrants from one place and bring them to another place.
00:22:06.500
And where they're picked up again, you know, by another person in that cartel and driven
00:22:12.720
further into the interior of the United States.
00:22:19.540
And it's a problem that we've seen since Biden took office.
00:22:22.920
And when Marjorie Taylor Greene calls for the impeachment of Mayorkas, it's not even just
00:22:28.060
for the most recent problems that have been at the border.
00:22:31.000
If you look back at the spring of 2021, shortly after Biden took office, you had Alejandro Mayorkas
00:22:38.380
stand up there and say to illegal immigrants or would-be illegal immigrants, we're not saying
00:22:48.100
And I remember because I was watching that day when he said that.
00:22:51.020
And we were shocked at the post-millennial when he said that.
00:22:55.400
In Congress, they continued to try and press him on that.
00:23:00.220
And now we have a situation where, according to MTG's resolution, some 10 million illegal
00:23:06.700
migrants have entered the country since Joe Biden took office.
00:23:10.700
That's 10 million more people than should be in this country.
00:23:14.520
And we have situations where human smugglers are causing all kinds of problems all over
00:23:20.900
So, yeah, she said that rather than adhering to an oath he took to defend and secure our
00:23:30.240
country and uphold the Constitution when he was sworn in as Secretary of Homeland Security,
00:23:35.780
Alejandro Nicolás Mayorkas has engaged in a pattern of conduct that is incompatible with
00:23:42.600
She said that he has not executed the laws passed by Congress and has not maintained operational
00:23:47.060
control over the entire international land and maritime borders of the United States.
00:23:54.480
She said, in his willful admittance of border crossers, terrorists, human traffickers, drugs
00:24:00.080
and other contraband, he has failed to uphold the Secure Fence Act of 2006.
00:24:04.760
He has not protected the nation against invasion.
00:24:07.200
He's allowed 10 million illegal border crossers into the country.
00:24:10.700
She said, the ongoing invasion at our southern border is a direct national security threat against
00:24:18.560
Secretary Mayorkas has willfully abandoned his duty to secure the border and protect states
00:24:22.960
against invasion, thereby violating Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution.
00:24:28.620
She also went through the number of people who have been let into the country who really
00:24:33.740
shouldn't be here in addition to just, you know, they shouldn't be here.
00:24:36.860
That includes 280 people on the terrorist watch list who are caught entering the country,
00:24:40.920
400,000 unaccompanied minors who have been let into the country.
00:24:45.300
And that includes 85,000 of these children who are now missing.
00:24:49.980
And that's after the DHS has turned them over to sponsors.
00:24:56.440
And this leads to further human trafficking in the United States.
00:24:59.560
The DHS washes their hands of them as soon as they are given over to their sponsors.
00:25:06.000
There have been nearly 1,500 deaths of illegal immigrants attempting to cross the border,
00:25:14.040
73,000 special interest aliens have been in, have made their way in.
00:25:19.440
And along with that, there's been this huge amount of fentanyl that's been leading, as
00:25:24.160
so many of you are aware, to deaths of despair across the country and to increased problems
00:25:31.880
And this, you know, this has taken full advantage of Biden's unwillingness to secure the border.
00:25:40.640
So it makes a lot of sense to get Mayorkas out of the way.
00:25:45.400
I don't know if she's really going to be able to get him out of there, though.
00:25:49.100
Mayorkas has been derelict in his duty, she said.
00:25:51.400
He has practiced catch and release where illegal immigrants are apprehended and turned loose
00:25:57.320
He halted construction on the border wall, which is another thing she said.
00:26:04.800
And he entered the migrant protection protocols, which is the remain in Mexico policy that was
00:26:09.980
so successful under Donald Trump, where a person needs to apply for asylum in Mexico and
00:26:18.400
Instead, now what we have is a situation where illegal immigrants cross over the border and
00:26:23.740
border patrol, they give them a court date, sometimes years and years into the future where they
00:26:30.260
will come and have to come back to court and say that they're going to, you know, that they
00:26:36.000
And in a lot of these cases, and as DHS and border patrol have said, many of these people
00:26:40.780
are not going to be eligible for asylum and their cases are not going to be found favorably.
00:26:45.220
Yet they're being transported out into the rest of the country.
00:26:48.240
By the time five years is up, who knows where they will be or what will have happened or
00:26:53.360
if, you know, it will even be possible to deport any of these people at that point.
00:26:59.260
She said that Alejandro Nicolás Mayorkas, in his inability to enforce the law, has engaged
00:27:04.820
in a pattern of conduct that is incompatible with his duties as a civil officer of the United
00:27:10.020
And of course, this comes after he was just recently questioned in the Senate about the
00:27:18.740
And he was questioned about it, if he thought it was a disaster.
00:27:22.740
And he said no, that he did not think the border was a disaster at all.
00:27:26.400
I think MTG's constituents, who tragically lost their lives, would surely disagree.
00:27:31.820
He said no, the disaster is that we have a broken immigration system that we cannot seem
00:27:36.440
But of course, this is the man perfectly standing in the way of fixing it.
00:27:40.800
Um, so I think we're going to wait and see if there's any success to this motion.
00:27:47.060
MTG has moved to impeach a number of other Biden administration officials who she feels
00:27:54.880
And I think in many cases, the current circumstances of the United States show that they are not
00:28:02.540
Um, I would love to know personally why the Biden administration thinks that it's a great
00:28:08.000
idea to let so many illegal immigrants into the country.
00:28:11.280
And just for comparison's sake, during Trump's last year in office in 2020, I believe it was
00:28:23.580
We have more than that coming in practically every month.
00:28:26.920
There's 10,000 illegal immigrants going into New York City every month, which we've already
00:28:32.240
Uh, Mayor Eric Adams has said this was a disaster and that he's going to have to cut other areas
00:28:38.380
of funding in order to accommodate paying for all of these illegal immigrants.
00:28:42.960
Um, New York has a right to shelter law, which means that it is required by law that the government
00:28:49.360
finds somewhere to put these people, they're renting hotels from Pakistani organizations.
00:28:56.260
Um, it's absolutely insane to see what's going on there.
00:28:59.960
So, um, I'm very interested to see if, uh, if MTG's motion gets, gets any steam, especially
00:29:07.020
since now there's such a personal reason for her to, um, to pursue this matter.
00:29:13.660
So, yeah, I wonder what's next for, I wonder what's next for, uh, for the border situation
00:29:21.180
Um, there's been a lot of speculation as to why Biden would let so many illegal immigrants
00:29:26.340
in, despite him saying that that's not even his intention.
00:29:29.900
You of course have the idea that these illegal immigrants are going to eventually be granted
00:29:38.580
Although one wonders if like a thorough amnesty and allowing people to become, um, citizens
00:29:44.940
in some easy way is really on the mind of the administration.
00:29:49.120
Perhaps that's something that we would see if they end up going, um, going on to be successful
00:29:56.980
One thing that is clear, however, is that Trump's border policies, even though they were called
00:30:02.500
all kinds of horrible things like inhumane and not compassionate, it turns out that those
00:30:07.300
were the most compassionate policies of all because they didn't encourage cartels to come
00:30:14.380
They didn't encourage families to send their children north with human traffickers only to
00:30:21.920
And they didn't encourage all of these nations to just let loose all of their, all of their
00:30:29.620
So I think it's clear that the least compassionate policy is an open border policy, uh, such as
00:30:38.260
I hope that's something that we can turn around if, um, if we get another shot at the White House
00:30:44.440
I don't think that this is the kind of thing he would tolerate.
00:30:47.000
We've already seen, uh, candidates for the GOP saying that they would revoke visas and,
00:30:59.620
Stop buzzing in my ear about the boring people at your office.
00:31:03.140
I'm trying to listen to the new human events with Jack Pozovic.
00:31:09.040
California isn't the first state you think of when you imagine parents fighting back against
00:31:15.040
But it's one of the states from which I've had an enormous number of parents reach out
00:31:18.960
wanting to make public both the atrocities being committed against their students and
00:31:25.460
And if there's hope for parents in California, there's hope for all of us.
00:31:29.800
Parents have watched schools gender transition their daughters in secret.
00:31:33.660
Parents have had schools refuse to show them the curriculum being force-fed to their kids
00:31:38.600
These are kids who were mastering COVID, who had their extracurricular activities cut supposedly
00:31:44.500
California has authorized textbooks for use that soft-pedal the concept of Islamic Jihad, bash
00:31:50.780
California allows schools to keep students' gender transition secret from parents.
00:31:55.880
This is a state that allows teachers to provide so-called transition closets where daughters
00:32:00.100
can come to school dressed in clothes their parents bought for them only to change into
00:32:04.280
chest binders, stuff packers in their underwear, and sons can put on dresses and makeup all to
00:32:10.480
wear during the school day only to change before going home so their parents don't see and
00:32:14.720
don't have any knowledge of what they're actually up to.
00:32:16.820
Senator Scott Wiener has backed laws that our next guest, Erin Friday, calls state-sanctioned
00:32:22.540
kidnapping, where schools can refer students to mental health counselors, and those counselors
00:32:27.480
can remove a child from the family home without even informing parents.
00:32:31.680
Wiener says this can happen in cases of abuse, but he also has redefined the concept of abuse
00:32:36.360
in California to include parents who refuse to affirm a child's gender identity.
00:32:41.720
In California, if your daughter says she's a boy and you say no you aren't, that's abuse.
00:32:48.420
He also pushed through a law that permits runaways from other states to undergo medical gender
00:32:52.720
transition in California without informing parents that it's what's happening or even
00:32:59.220
Wiener also allowed male violent offenders to self-ID as women in order to gain access
00:33:06.380
One man, convicted murderer Dana Rivers, murdered a lesbian couple and their son before attempting
00:33:11.300
to set their house on fire and destroy the evidence.
00:33:13.300
He is housed in the Women's Correctional Facility at Chowchilla.
00:33:17.420
Erin Friday of Our Duty has been fighting against all of this, and she's here to talk about
00:33:34.060
I was hoping that you could talk to us about some of the bills that Scott Wiener has been
00:33:39.520
He's been rather successful, I think, in his efforts.
00:33:43.200
This is the BDSM-loving state senator from the Bay Area who also, I know that you saw
00:33:51.900
this, he also was advocating for a parade, a whole, it was like a whole festival in the
00:33:58.640
street where there was a pee pool where people could get in and other attendees could pee
00:34:14.320
A senator in the most powerful state in our country is advocating that people urinate on
00:34:26.220
Libby, as you know, I'm a Democrat and I'm a liberal, but this is just absurd.
00:34:32.300
I mean, children are walking in these parades, children are walking by and watching naked men
00:34:38.000
with, you know, semi-erect penises walk around.
00:34:46.180
He's just a hedonistic human who has no respect for women, no respect for the family, and no
00:34:57.520
So why don't you tell us about some of the custody laws that he has managed to implement
00:35:05.520
Well, the one that you spoke about, it's called AB665.
00:35:09.960
This is the state-sanctioned kidnapping bill, and there needs to be no claim of abuse, no
00:35:17.020
claim of harm or self-harm of the child or harm to others before a 12-year-old can walk
00:35:23.600
out the front door of their family's home and choose a new family so that child can emancipate
00:35:29.960
themselves, go ahead and go to a residential facility.
00:35:35.180
They don't even need a counselor to assist them on that.
00:35:39.560
So a 12-year-old can just walk out of school one day, go to a state-run facility, declare
00:35:48.260
And what reasons do they have to give in order for the state to allow them to just leave
00:36:01.180
So the way the law used to be before Scott Wiener got his hands on it is a child to leave
00:36:07.260
the family home, had to have one of four things happening at home.
00:36:11.540
Incest, abuse by the parents, self-harm or harm to others.
00:36:18.260
And so now a child is able to go to a residential facility, check themselves in, and then mom
00:36:27.800
and dad have to try to get that child back if they even find out where that child is.
00:36:33.060
Because the law only requires that the residential facility make best efforts to locate mom and
00:36:42.240
And then once mom and dad find out where the child is, then they have to fight to get the
00:36:47.560
child back when there's no claims against them.
00:36:51.040
So I don't know how the parents are going to get their kids back.
00:36:53.700
And I haven't quite finished my research on this, but I do believe that the state of
00:36:59.400
California is building new facilities to house these 12 and up children that want to
00:37:05.400
opt out of their family so that they have some place to put them.
00:37:10.120
We also know that these residential facilities aren't safe places for kids.
00:37:17.260
So what is it that California, who does California think should be raising California's children
00:37:27.100
Like, how often does your kid not want to be at home?
00:37:30.520
Kids have all kinds of crazy ideas that can last for a few days, a few hours, a few minutes,
00:37:38.280
So if you end up, if you're a child and you end up in an argument over any kind of thing
00:37:44.240
that you're not letting them eat enough Fritos and Twinkies, you could have your kid in a fit
00:37:49.980
of anger be totally severed from you and your family home, all because of why?
00:37:55.820
What is it that California and Scott Wiener think is so good about this?
00:38:00.260
What is it that they even think the positive is?
00:38:04.160
Well, I think we have to look at it a different way.
00:38:06.400
They find all parents to be abusive and negative and horrible humans.
00:38:11.880
We saw that with Rob Bonta's lawsuit, where he said that all parents of trans-identified
00:38:18.220
kids are abusive and will harm or kill their children.
00:38:22.160
So there's a sentiment that parents are bad and that the state is great at parenting.
00:38:27.820
And we know that's a falsehood because look at the terrible success rate or failure rate
00:38:35.760
How often they graduate from high school, become homeless, become sex workers, or become
00:38:49.580
This is queer theory in its full-blown glory, is to blow up everything that's good.
00:39:00.100
And they want to blow it up and empower children to make adult decisions.
00:39:06.320
This, of course, dovetails into, well, if a 12-year-old can emancipate, a 12-year-old
00:39:14.440
So yeah, in a lot of ways, I think that you're right.
00:39:17.620
And a lot of this is a push to almost, you know, you almost hesitate to say it, but it's
00:39:29.120
And Scott Wiener is also the one who changed the laws about sex offenders, right?
00:39:36.660
Wasn't he also the one who said that certain kinds of sex offenses against minors should
00:39:41.460
not actually be considered sex offenses because it's really just bigoted against the LGBT community?
00:39:50.880
What he did was he passed a bill that took sex offenders off the registry.
00:40:00.120
So it's not that they can't be criminalized or penalized, but they have been, they no longer
00:40:09.560
So, you know, a family doesn't know that their neighbor, their neighbor, you know, was sexually
00:40:16.680
assaulted by a man who was within 10 years of that person's age.
00:40:23.480
So it's just a way to hide criminals and decriminalize pedophilia.
00:40:32.080
And I'm, you know, I'm glad to see that parents like you are fighting back against this.
00:40:37.660
When we come back after the break, we can talk to Erin more about why people like Scott Wiener
00:40:43.640
keep getting elected in California and what parents can do and what she's been doing with
00:40:48.920
her group to make sure that parents are informed and aware and can really fight back against
00:40:57.280
And I'm hoping that some of these lessons from California can help out here in the rest of
00:41:04.160
I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:41:16.260
I am back with you on Human Events Daily, filling in for Jack Posobiec.
00:41:21.440
And we've been talking to Erin Friday, who runs our duty out of California, which seeks
00:41:28.960
to help parents, seeks to deal with some of this insane legislation that comes up in California
00:41:36.520
and in so many states across the United States.
00:41:38.920
I think that a lot of us are just not even aware of how insidious gender ideology is, not
00:41:46.460
just in California, but pretty much everywhere.
00:41:49.280
It's in New Jersey and Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, New York, Massachusetts.
00:41:53.900
These are just a couple of states that I can name off the top of my head.
00:41:58.500
We saw in the past year or so how bad it was in Florida that a whole parental rights in
00:42:04.080
education legislation had to be passed in that state just to protect parents from schools,
00:42:09.760
essentially, and to protect students from schools.
00:42:12.360
So, Erin, a lot of what you and I have talked about in the past has to do with these laws that
00:42:17.140
have been pushed into place by state senator Scott Weiner, who so many of us just, I mean,
00:42:25.480
He's just so, so terrible at what he does here.
00:42:28.740
Can you tell us a little bit about what our duty is doing and how you are helping parents
00:42:34.120
fight back against this terrible legislation and the gender indoctrination that we see in
00:42:47.020
We also do calls to action where we give people the scripts to call their local lawmakers
00:42:52.740
and stop some of these bills, where to write, where to protest, and people can go to our
00:43:01.640
duty.group and they can sign up as an advocate and we can help them figure out what letters
00:43:06.660
to write and how to protect their kids at the schools.
00:43:09.440
The most important thing really is the schools and parents really need to step up and run for
00:43:16.620
School boards are so incredibly powerful and are needed to stop the faucet.
00:43:26.180
Basically, schools are creating gender dysphoria kids.
00:43:32.100
The schools are filling these young children with thoughts that they can just opt out of
00:43:38.520
You're saying that schools are creating the epidemic of gender dysphoria, that it's coming
00:43:49.060
When you read to a child that they can opt out of their sex when they're little and those
00:43:54.620
brains are little sponges, they keep that in their brains and it feeds them.
00:44:01.040
They're doing sex ed classes where an entire hour or two hours is just on gender identity.
00:44:08.620
These kids are gravitating to it because they're also being taught that as a white middle class
00:44:15.860
person that they're oppressors and they want to hop into a victimization bucket.
00:44:21.740
The easiest way to do that is to go on the LGBTQ train.
00:44:34.940
The nerdy, weird kid suddenly has a tribe and is celebrated at school as soon as they
00:44:44.960
So it's a very intriguing identity to glum on to.
00:44:51.800
Schools in Transition is a manual that was created by the ACLU.
00:44:56.220
The ACLU would create this, the Schools in Transition manual?
00:45:01.920
This is, of course, the organization that is supposed to be upholding civil liberties and
00:45:10.460
What you're saying is they've created this Schools in Transition manual, but they also
00:45:14.260
are taking up cases all over the country along with PFLAG to prevent data from being released
00:45:21.320
about, you know, how many men are in women's prisons, as we saw in Washington and in so
00:45:26.460
many other states, trying to make sure that state legislation that has gone through to
00:45:31.800
prevent children from being medically gender transitioned is stopped.
00:45:35.780
They're actually trying to halt the protection of children in a lot of states.
00:45:40.620
So tell us about this, tell us about this Schools in Transition thing.
00:45:44.080
Yeah, well, let's just talk for one more second about the ACLU.

I mean, they're totally captured by transgenderism, completely.
00:45:54.000
I mean, I used to write checks to them, I'm embarrassed to say.
00:45:57.600
But they wrote this book or this manual called Schools in Transition, and it says in there
00:46:02.900
that young children are more malleable than the older children, so they need to be teaching
00:46:13.660
And in that document, it has forms, secret social transition plans.
00:46:21.760
So the ACLU is grooming American kids, basically?
00:46:29.780
Anybody who's saying, let's go ahead and teach young children about sexuality and transgenderism
00:46:40.820
I don't care who they used to be or what their name is.
00:46:46.000
And that document even says the school should scaffold the child's gender identity.
00:47:06.980
And most people can find this on their school's website.
00:47:10.260
If you keep going deep enough, you'll actually find it, that schools are following this.
00:47:15.980
And that brings me to the secret social transition plans, which are part of that manual, which
00:47:21.240
are being adopted by schools all over the nation, not just the states that you talked
00:47:25.560
This is happening in every state, whether it's a red state or blue state.
00:47:30.720
Computer programs are actually being used by schools where teachers can manipulate the
00:47:39.920
records so that every time they send an email to mom and dad, it has the child's legal name
00:47:56.600
I just looked up Aries, and that's what it does, is you can put a flag.
00:48:00.260
So all the teachers and everyone in school knows that your child is gender confused, except
00:48:05.480
mom and dad, because mom and dad are going to throw their children out, allegedly, or harm
00:48:12.240
It's such an absurd statement, and that the school is the safe space.
00:48:17.260
And remember, these kids are in school 160 days out of the year.
00:48:26.040
And to cut the most important adult out of a child's life is absolutely alarming.
00:48:32.300
It is really totally insane to see that, as you're telling us, schools and so many legislatures
00:48:41.040
are actually taking aim at the American family, at American students, at American kids, and
00:48:47.320
seeking to undermine American culture and our values and everything that we think is
00:48:54.000
Thank you so much, Erin, for sharing that with us today.
00:48:57.040
I think that that's eye-opening for a lot of us out here.
