00:02:42.800 Tens of thousands took to the streets angry over a deal made by the acting prime minister for another term in office.
00:02:51.080 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard.
00:02:52.780 Today's edition of Human Events Daily live with Jack Posobiec from Washington, D.C.
00:02:58.080 Today is November 13th, 2023.
00:03:00.700 Anno Domini.
00:03:01.420 There is a socialist coup underway right now in Spain.
00:03:06.160 This has all been kicked off by an assassination attempt of one of Spain's conservative leaders.
00:03:13.980 The founder of the Vox Party found shot in the face on the way to a protest, Alejo Vidal Quandras, 78 years old, rushed to the hospital last week following this gunshot to the face.
00:03:28.620 A man on a motorcycle came after him, shot him in the face with a .22 caliber bullet.
00:03:34.000 He remains in critical condition.
00:03:36.600 However, this is taking place amidst the backdrop of a larger campaign that's going on in Spain at the moment of socialists attempting to overturn the election results where they lost the election and now are throwing out their own constitution as well as their own rule of law,
00:03:55.680 being willing to allow convicted separatists and traitors out of prison in order to maintain the votes to keep power over Spain throughout the weekend.
00:04:07.680 Millions of Spanish nationalists, patriots, conservatives campaigned in city after city by the hundreds of thousands, millions all in.
00:04:18.860 And we are very proud to be joined by one of the member of the Congress of deputies of the Vox Party herself.
00:04:26.540 Rocio Demir joins us here on Human Events Daily.
00:04:29.580 Rocio, thank you so much for joining us.
00:04:31.720 Tell us, how did this all begin in Spain?
00:04:34.600 Thank you so much, Jack, for inviting me to your show.
00:04:39.860 Well, first of all, I have to start with my dear Alejo, isn't it?
00:04:45.000 He just suffered this week, this attempt of assassination.
00:04:49.660 But I also have to say that we don't think it's related with the political situation in Spain right now.
00:04:57.260 He just said that, well, he had international, he's part of an association in international, which headquarters are in Paris.
00:05:08.780 And probably this assassination is related to his international movements.
00:05:15.680 So it's a, however, it's a crime and it's media, mass media in Spain are not speaking about it.
00:05:24.160 And we want to know all the truth.
00:05:26.940 It's funny that when something, you know, some other thing happens in Spain, like, I don't know if you remember the Rubiales Kiss,
00:05:36.960 which is a kiss that happened the last, you know, football, the feminine football matches in Spain.
00:05:51.360 And, you know, everyone was speaking about that kiss because it wasn't a feminist topic.
00:05:59.240 And in the end, a serious thing.
00:06:02.580 Roussa, hold us, hold us for a second right there.
00:06:04.980 We've got a quick break.
00:06:05.940 When we come back, we'll have a much longer segment.
00:06:08.040 I want to get into detail why these protests have broken out now across Spain and what it means for conservatives and for patriots,
00:06:16.600 the nationalist populist movement across Western civilization.
00:06:19.360 Civilization.
00:06:20.340 We'll stay tuned.
00:06:20.900 A quick break.
00:06:21.420 We'll be right back.
00:06:22.380 Garcia DeMiro, the Vox Party joins us live human events for this exclusive special.

00:06:58.740 All right, Jack Posobiec back live here at Human Events Daily.
00:07:04.400 Back in the saddle after being on assignment for a week.
00:07:07.080 We'll get into that in a second.

00:07:17.140 It is the price of admission.
00:07:18.680 What is the best way to deal with jet lag?

00:07:42.960 How do you wake up and have the energy to do this show, to fight back against the globalists,
00:07:47.980 and possibly even power a counterrevolution in Spain, blackoutcoffee.com, promo code POSO20.
00:07:54.880 Now, I want to go back to our exclusive interview that we're having right now with Rocio Demir.
00:08:00.500 She is a member of the Congress of Deputies of the Vox Party.
00:08:04.480 They're the third largest party in Spain.
00:08:06.880 These are, these are the, this is the MAGA party, right?
00:08:09.760 This is the MAGA party of Spain.
00:08:11.420 These are like the nationalist populist.
00:08:13.540 They're the true conservatives.
00:08:14.740 But even this weekend, if I understand correctly, that Vox was actually joining with the center
00:08:22.060 right party and really building a greater coalition against the socialist coup.
00:08:26.720 So Rocio, if you can, and such a wonderful time, by the way, that we had in Belgrade last
00:08:32.140 week, getting to meet you, getting to meet with Tanya Tay and you explaining to us what
00:08:37.420 was going on in Spain.
00:08:38.860 When you told me that and really briefed me on the situation, I didn't even know this was
00:08:43.660 going on because the mainstream media isn't talking about it anywhere in the English world.
00:08:49.500 Explain to us, why are we seeing these, these striking images of so many patriotic Spanish
00:08:55.600 citizens flooding the streets in 42 cities across the country?
00:09:02.040 First, well, last summer we had general elections in our country.
00:09:07.040 And the, you know, we, we couldn't form a government, actually the Patriots and the Popular Party, which
00:09:16.700 are the two parties that believe that national unity, weren't able to form a government because
00:09:23.580 we lacked for votes in the, in the parliament.
00:09:26.480 So finally, the socialists and the communists start negotiating to renew its government and
00:09:35.320 to renew this government to, to, to stay at power.
00:09:39.480 They just need to sign an arrangement with separatist movement in Spain.
00:09:45.940 The separatist movement is the Catalonia, uh, mafia politicians that did a coup d'etat in 2017.
00:09:57.100 They actually, uh, were judged for that and they had the finals, their final sentence and politicians
00:10:04.500 as Puigdemont, which was the president of Catalonia in that moment is, uh, actually, you know, he actually
00:10:11.600 had to run away from Spain in a, in a car and, and he's actually in Brussels in the water loop.
00:10:18.560 So, uh, first of all, that the negotiation about, uh, the, to, how to renew the Spanish government
00:10:27.440 has, hasn't even been, uh, negotiated in Madrid or in Spain.
00:10:34.160 It was actually negotiated in Brussels with this criminal that, uh, actually, you know,
00:10:40.760 um, run out of the justice in our country.
00:10:44.520 And in the end, last Thursday, they just signed this deal and the deal is like a really serious,
00:10:53.400 uh, deal for our country.
00:10:55.440 Um, our sovereignty is at stake, at stake, our, our unity is at stake, our integrity is
00:11:04.140 at stake.
00:11:05.580 So all the patriots in our country are now in the streets.
00:11:11.420 We just, uh, you know, we just had lots of demonstrations, uh, last Sunday, there was
00:11:17.740 huge demonstrations all across the country.
00:11:20.740 You can see this images, millions of people went out the street, you know, families, uh,
00:11:27.140 young people, uh, you know, all kinds of people were out and they just wanted to say one thing
00:11:36.900 that they want the, uh, the national unity to be respected that our country and our sovereignty
00:11:43.140 are not for sale.
00:11:44.580 And they are also against this arrangement that they signed last Thursday, which has,
00:11:50.220 uh, like polemic points.
00:11:53.380 One of these points is the amnesty law.
00:11:57.620 So the socialists and the communists actually promised the separatists that they were going
00:12:04.420 to run an amnesty law in the parliament, which this means is that, uh, the, the criminals in
00:12:14.020 last 2017 are going to be amnestied.
00:12:17.780 They're going to pardon their crimes.
00:12:19.860 I mean, amnesty is not an adult.
00:12:23.540 Amnesty is like the act that denying that the act even happened and the, the crimes that
00:12:32.100 the separatists committed were not only rebellion or cessation.
00:12:37.220 They did a strong coup d'etat in that moment, but also we had other crimes as terrorism in
00:12:44.580 the streets in 2017.
00:12:46.420 So Spanish people is wondering if, um, this, um, socialist and communist government just
00:12:54.420 need a bunch of votes, uh, from the separatists and to buy those votes, they are going to run
00:13:02.580 this law, which is pardoning all their crimes.
00:13:06.820 Why do, uh, Spaniards have to obey law?
00:13:11.860 I mean, it's like they, the, the, it's a huge, um, it's a huge break of the rule of law state
00:13:20.740 in our country because they have no legitimacy.
00:13:25.940 So what we're seeing here is they're essentially saying that for, because they lost the last election,
00:13:33.140 that Sanchez, who was the socialist prime minister, he wants to stay in power, but he needs the support
00:13:39.860 of these other parties, the separatists who are by and large, uh, huge pro migrant, uh,
00:13:46.580 they want to bring open completely flood open the borders of Spain, um, communities.
00:13:51.940 They're communists.
00:13:52.820 They've committed these acts in 2017 of treason, essentially against Spain, trying to pull
00:13:58.740 Catalonia away.
00:14:00.260 And in order to do this, they're currently in jail.
00:14:04.100 He wants to let them out of jail, suspend there.
00:14:07.860 And they've all been criminally charged, right?
00:14:10.020 They've all been criminally charged sentence.
00:14:11.700 They're convicted.
00:14:12.500 He wants to overturn all of that in exchange for their political support to keep him in power,
00:14:19.780 even though he lost the election to the right wing coalition.
00:14:24.980 If that happens, would this be the end of the constitution in Spain?
00:14:30.740 Well, this will be the end of, of a lot of things, but first of all,
00:14:34.740 the constitution and the rule of law.
00:14:36.740 I mean, all Spaniards are not, uh, the government is no more legitimate to, to, to, to, you know,
00:14:45.140 to, to tell people that they have to, to obey the law, to obey the constitution.
00:14:50.900 If the government is the first one breaking the constitution actually to, to commit some
00:14:57.220 act of corruption, which in the end, you know, a politician that it's pardoning the crimes of
00:15:03.780 other, uh, politicians, um, as a, as a, as an operation, if they need their votes, that's
00:15:11.060 corruption that has no other name.
00:15:14.100 So in the end, this betrayal to, to our integrity, to our unity, to our sovereignty, to our country
00:15:21.300 has also another points because in the deal, they actually also, um, one of the points is the
00:15:28.580 referendum point, which is also illegal in, and it's also in constitutional in our country.
00:15:34.820 And they also signed that part in the deal, but they also signed, um, other point it, it,
00:15:43.140 which is scandalous in our country. And it is that they are going to proceed to, um, now,
00:15:52.180 uh, an international relator for the Catalonian conflict. I mean, there's no international
00:15:58.740 conflict. It's a national thing that has been solved in the, in the tribunals with the judges.
00:16:07.460 There's no international conflict. We do not need an international relator. This is an attack
00:16:13.940 and a betrayal against, um, against our sovereignty, our national sovereignty. So Spanish, uh, patriots
00:16:23.300 are on the streets and actually we were last Sunday, um, like a massive way last Sunday morning, but
00:16:32.180 every day we are on the streets every night in the headquarters of the socialist party, which, uh,
00:16:39.540 I'm going when, when I, when I finished this interview, I'm actually going to this demonstration.
00:16:45.300 And every night in these headquarters, we are telling Pedro Santa that we are not going to sell
00:16:52.900 our country and we are, and our integrity, our identity, and our culture are not for sale. And,
00:17:00.500 you know, last there, there are also happening some, some miserable things in this demonstration,
00:17:08.260 because for example, last, uh, last Monday, um, police started to use tear gas and rubber, rubber
00:17:20.660 balls against demonstrators and demonstrators were Pacific demonstrators last Monday. No, there were
00:17:28.420 families, there were, um, grandfathers, grandmas, and even kids and the police without a previous
00:17:37.300 attack started to use tear gas. So last Monday was a miserable thing. It was, you know, a political
00:17:46.100 party using, uh, the police as a party police to defend their headquarters when they actually don't,
00:17:56.260 don't even defend our borders. So what, one of the things that people, uh, is, is, uh, constantly
00:18:03.780 proclaiming in this demonstration is that, um, those, those cars, those police cars should go
00:18:11.140 to the frontiers, should go to the borders, not to attack Spanish people that just are in the
00:18:18.020 streets to defend, uh, their unity, their sovereignty and their identity. This story deserves coverage.
00:18:25.140 The Patriots of Spain deserve our support. We are going to stick here. Thank you so much,
00:18:30.900 uh, for continuing this interview. Stay tuned folks, because we are not going away. Our exclusive
00:18:36.820 coverage of the Spanish counter revolution against the socialist coup continues here as human events
00:18:43.140 comes back. They talk about influences. These are influences and, uh, they're friends of mine,
00:18:50.420 Jack. You're so like, where's Jack? He's got a great job.
00:18:59.140 All right, Jack, we're so like back live human events daily folks. Have you ever talked with a
00:19:03.460 friend? And then a couple of minutes later, you had ads that relate to that exact conversation
00:19:07.940 pop up on your phone. I call it ad popping. Do you feel like big brother is watching or worse?
00:19:12.100 Like every move you make is being tracked. Sadly, in our digital age, that's not paranoia between
00:19:17.460 criminals, government and corporate America. It feels like personal freedom and privacy is

00:20:19.540 Congress of Delegates, uh, Rocio Demir from the Vox party. Rocio, you say that you are actually on your
00:20:25.460 way back out. I believe it's been a full week of protests outside of the socialist party headquarters.
00:20:31.460 There walk us through some of the programs that these, um, that these socialists want to continue
00:20:38.420 and Sanchez wants to continue. If he is able to stay in power. I know when we spoke in Belgrade at the
00:20:45.700 cross continental conservative summit, we really talked about the problem of migrants and the open borders
00:20:53.140 that they're pushing for in Spain, as well as so many others. And people need to understand that Spain
00:20:57.860 is it's, it's, it's almost like the Southern border of Europe in many ways. This goes all the way back. Uh,
00:21:03.300 and Spain of course has a history of dealing with, uh, shall we say invasions of people from across that
00:21:09.380 Southern border in the past. Rocio, is this something that the socialists want to continue in Spain?
00:21:18.500 Yes. Uh, that's it. I mean, Patriots are on the streets, not only
00:21:22.980 to, to, to, to proclaim Spanish unity and integrity, but also to proclaim our culture,
00:21:31.380 because in the end we've, we have had last years, uh, several governments that had let our borders
00:21:40.100 open. And in the end there's thousands and thousands and thousands of migrants coming from Africa,
00:21:46.900 which have very different cultures and very, you know, different, not only different, but
00:21:55.140 violent cultures, again, that, that in the end are really problematic in our streets and in our
00:22:03.620 districts. We are starting to see Sharia law in some, in some districts in our country as in France or
00:22:12.340 the rest of Europe because Islamization of Spain and Islamization of Europe is a reality that, that
00:22:19.860 people were, do not want to see, but it's a reality that we can see, uh, thanks to, to the social networks,
00:22:27.620 isn't it? And this government also did, uh, great, uh, liberal things the, the last years as a feminist
00:22:37.300 ministry with millions and millions of viewers of all the Spaniards to, um, bring laws as the trans law,
00:22:47.620 which means, uh, that people can, uh, change their gender, uh, just saying it and, and, you know, uh,
00:22:57.300 other, other, um, liberal policies as, as, as these, they are also a government that is for
00:23:06.580 not, not only open borders or feminist politics policies or a trans law, but also they are
00:23:14.260 destroying our economy because, um, Spaniards are paying more, uh, more, uh, each time more, um,
00:23:26.020 well, I, I don't know the word right now. You're going to, you were telling me, um, English
00:23:31.780 you were, you were actually telling me that's, that's fine. That's, that's perfectly. And we
00:23:35.700 know that you've been out, you've been pro just so everybody knows Rocio has been out on these
00:23:40.100 streets day and night, 14, 15 hours a day. She's come on to human events to do this interview.
00:23:45.780 She's going back out to the barricades after this, but Rocio, you were telling me,
00:23:51.460 you were saying that in, they have just instituted something new. They're a new ministry,
00:23:56.580 uh, the ministerio de igualdad, the ministry of equality. They have a ministry of equal.
00:24:04.420 What is the ministry of equality?
00:24:09.700 It's like, as, as the, as the minister call it, calls it, it's the feminist ministry,
00:24:16.020 which actually has this 500 million dollars of budget and starts politics like the trans law.
00:24:23.940 Also, they, they just made up an application for your phone. So, uh, people in their homes can,
00:24:32.100 can, can, can, can say if, whether if they're doing, uh, if men or women are doing the, the home stuff,
00:24:42.100 it's also a ministry that, you know, uh, makes, um, make some studies for non, non binary gender studies,
00:24:51.540 or, I mean, it's, it's full. It's like, it's a, it's a super mad ministry.
00:24:59.060 Uh, or also, um, pays parts of the budget to, to actual, to, to trans LGBTQ lobbies, uh, to be on the schools.
00:25:11.940 I mean, all the destroying families and homelands policies in general.
00:25:18.340 So it's a, it's a horrible situation, Spanish situation, not only because of the unity of Spain is at stake and its identity,
00:25:28.740 but also all of these politics are policies are destroying our cultural heritage indefinitely.
00:25:37.620 Do you believe, do you believe that these things, these factors that are going on, the Islamification of Spain, setting up a ministry of equality, the Ministerio de Igualdad,
00:25:49.620 this idea that a, a government funded ministry would be pushing transgender ideology, and this, and by the way, that's every school, right?
00:25:59.620 Every school in Spain must adhere to these standards. Is that correct for Spanish children?
00:26:05.460 Every public school, and also the private school, they have to also have some standards that are, uh, reviewed by the education ministry.
00:26:15.300 And also, of course, it is also an abortion ministry that wants free abortion for the public health care, covered for every woman and all that.
00:26:27.900 So it's like, uh, the great pack of, uh, leftist policies that destroys families and countries in the end.
00:26:36.780 How can, how can, how can Americans help? What can we do to help you as you stand up for these values, these Western Christian values in Spain?
00:26:50.380 What can we, we're trying to get the word out here. What else can we do?
00:26:53.620 Well, uh, your support is a lot. And, you know, to spread out what's happening in Spain. And there's videos every day about what happens every night in the headquarters of the Socialist Party, but also saying everyone that, um, that Europe is a continent that's failing because of open borders.
00:27:22.260 And if we still have politicians and governments that support open borders, we're going to the Africanization of Europe.
00:27:31.140 And we're going to see African cultures and, uh, in, inside Europe and also African demography because Europeans are really suffering a civilization problem in this moment.
00:27:46.900 And it's not only local problems, but also, uh, Christian civilization civilization is at stake in this moment.
00:27:54.980 So, uh, we're just hoping, we hope that in the national, uh, movements that some of the young guys that are every night in the headquarters of the Socialist Party are naming it as the National November.
00:28:15.220 So we hope that National November gives us, um, this, this, this, this, this, all this spirit that we need to, to reconquer our land and to, to reconquer our homeland, our identity, our culture, and our families, and to give a future to our, to our sons and to our daughters.
00:28:40.160 National November.
00:28:42.160 National November.
00:28:44.160 And I hope that here in the United States, we'll be having a national November in 2024 as well.
00:28:49.160 When we hold our next elections, uh, you've also called it, uh, as well, and I've, I've seen Santiago, the, the president of Vox has called for permanent mobilization.
00:28:58.160 What does it mean?
00:28:59.160 Permanent mobilization.
00:29:00.160 Permanent mobilization.
00:29:01.160 Well, that means every day on the streets.
00:29:05.160 So it means that we, we cannot be in our homes when something so important is at stake.
00:29:13.160 We cannot be in our sofas.
00:29:15.160 We cannot be, um, waiting for others to solve that, those problems.
00:29:21.160 We have to be in the streets.
00:29:23.160 We have to make pressure.
00:29:24.160 We have to stop this, uh, this nonsense.
00:29:28.160 We have to stop these, these corrupt politicians that want to sell our sovereignty and to sell what is Spanish and Spaniards heritage indefinitely.
00:29:41.160 Amen to that.
00:29:43.160 Where can people go to follow you and to follow all the information about the protests and about this socialist coup?
00:29:49.160 Thank you, Jack.
00:29:50.160 Thank you for, for your time and thank you for the opportunity to be in this program and explain what's happening in my homeland.
00:30:00.160 God bless.
00:30:01.160 Thank you, Rocio.
00:30:02.160 Okay, guys, you can follow her on, uh, and, and, and we know that she's out there.
00:30:11.160 It's Mero C O M E E R R O C I O at Twitter or X.com these days, Vox underscore E S for the Vox Twitter account.
00:30:23.160 Uh, I believe there's also a Vox, uh, telegram.
00:30:26.160 So, uh, T dot me backslash Fox Vox telegram.
00:30:30.160 Of course, that's going to be in Spanish.
00:30:32.160 So you guys over there who want to brush up on your Espanol, you can do that as well.
00:30:36.160 That's going to be something that comes up in these days, folks.
00:30:39.160 Remember Spain at one point was conquered by the Moors.
00:30:44.160 Spain was conquered and they only had one mountain left.
00:30:47.160 And you know what they did?
00:30:49.160 They continued fighting.
00:30:51.160 They fought all the way until the battle of Grenada night, 1492, 1492.
00:30:57.160 And they won back their country.
00:30:59.160 They kicked the Moors out of Spain because they refused to give up.
00:31:04.160 They refused to surrender.
00:31:06.160 They have the history to fight back for their civilization.
00:31:11.160 And it looks like that's what they're going to have to do again in my ear about the boring people at your office.
00:31:18.160 I'm trying to listen to the new human events with Jack.

00:32:24.160 All right, want to bring on now my favorite anti-communist, also someone who graciously filled in as a guest host for me while I was on assignment last week twice, not once but twice, here on Human Events.
00:32:37.160 Evita Duffy rejoins us here on Human Events to break down the latest in the socialist coup in Spain, Evita.
00:32:44.160 Thank you so much again for joining us, and thanks again just personally for doing that job of hosting for us.
00:32:50.160 You did a great job.
00:32:51.160 Of course.
00:32:52.160 I had a blast.
00:32:53.160 I'm happy to be back.
00:32:54.160 So walk us through this.
00:32:56.160 Why is it that we're seeing, and we just had the great Rocio Demir on.
00:33:01.160 She's right there in Madrid.
00:33:03.160 She's going back out to the barricades as we speak to protest these socialists.
00:33:08.160 What are the pressures that we see in Spain right now?
00:33:11.160 Why is this kicking off at such a massive scale?
00:33:15.160 So I want to just start off by saying one thing that's super important for everyone listening to understand.
00:33:21.160 The American media, only one side ever really covers Spain, unfortunately, because conservative media isn't that big.
00:33:27.160 Most of us stay pretty domestic, at least at the Federalists.
00:33:30.160 That's generally what we do.
00:33:31.160 And so whatever you're going to be hearing about Spain from all of the corporate media outlets, throw it out.
00:33:36.160 I mean, you have to go to alternative media for what's happening in Spain and even the history of Spain, which has just been completely just lied about by the left.
00:33:46.160 They have a monopoly really on information when it comes to what's happened and what's happening in that country.
00:33:53.160 I actually talked to some people who actually are part of Vox, which is the real conservative party in Spain.
00:34:00.160 There's the Partido Popular, which is like the conservative party, but they're not very conservative.
00:34:06.160 And then there's Vox, which is like you've said, Jack, it's MAGA conservative in Spain.
00:34:12.160 And they are really in mass protesting two things.
00:34:16.160 One, the amnesty agreement.
00:34:18.160 And then two, the socialist takeover, which are which are very connected.
00:34:22.160 So the the prime minister of Spain is making a deal with separatists in Catalonia to maintain control over the government, even though that's not what the people want.
00:34:32.160 And Pedro Sanchez has essentially turned Spain into Venezuela 2.0.
00:34:37.160 It is a disaster there. I mean, the unemployment is is sky high.
00:34:42.160 It's at I think it's almost at 12 percent now.
00:34:44.160 Groceries rent through the roof.
00:34:46.160 He's also aligned himself very closely with Agenda 2030.
00:34:50.160 And he's also somebody who could because he's so aligned with globalist forces.
00:34:55.160 Right. The Klaus Schwab's and the George Soros of Europe.
00:34:58.160 He is sending tons of money to Ukraine, tons of money to the green energy projects.
00:35:03.160 Meanwhile, his people are suffering and taxes only go up.
00:35:06.160 Like any socialist government. Right.
00:35:09.160 The poorest, the middle class are the ones that are really suffering in that region.
00:35:13.160 And he is holding on to power despite it being against the will of the people.
00:35:18.160 Right. So the people voted against him.
00:35:21.160 They voted to take him out.
00:35:22.160 So what he's essentially doing, and this is what Rocio broke down for me, and she's the one who even filled me again because she's a member of Vox last week when we were in Belgrade together, that what he's being willing to do is to let communists out of prison.
00:35:37.160 But he is going to empty the prisons to let them come forward so he can just get enough votes so that his coalition and possibly by the end of the week will allow him to stay in power.
00:35:49.160 Evita, you've studied this. You have the family history.
00:35:54.160 It pains me to have to say something like this.
00:35:56.160 And you and I have talked about the Spanish Civil War and the history of the 1930s in Spain here on this program many times.
00:36:02.160 Is this something like we saw perhaps in the 1930s?
00:36:06.160 Does it seem like something like that could be kicking off again?
00:36:09.160 Yes. And so there's a few things. Right.
00:36:13.160 So one, there's the amnesty deal. The other is the socialist takeover in the same way that we have, you know, states in America. Right.
00:36:21.160 They have sort of autonomous zones in Spain.
00:36:23.160 Catalonia is a zone with its own sort of localized government, but it's still part of Spain.
00:36:29.160 And so when it separates and that's completely unconstitutional in Spain, just like it would be if New Hampshire said I'm going to separate from America, that would be against our American Constitution.
00:36:38.160 So there could be a civil war over that.
00:36:40.160 But the deeper issue really is the direction that Spain is going in ideologically and what Sanchez is proposing for the Spanish people in major parallels to what the Republicans, which they're not Republicans as we think of them today.
00:36:56.160 The Republicans back in the 1920s and 30s in Spain wanted these.
00:36:59.160 These were the communists to not just get rid of or not just to implement communism in the economic form.
00:37:05.160 Right. But to do everything that comes with it, to take away Spanish heritage, to to go against the Catholic faith, to say that the Catholic heritage of Spain is no longer going to be a part of our identity.
00:37:17.160 We are a communist country. We are an atheist country. And even that you saw art and churches, religious people targeted during this era that is going to be paralleled again.
00:37:29.160 I think if the right really stands up in the way that it is here and something that's really interesting that many have pointed out is you're seeing millions in the street.
00:37:38.160 I'm seeing the B-roll right from from from the show now, just the massive amounts of people that are there protesting.
00:37:44.160 They don't have a First Amendment. They don't have the Constitution saying, you know, you can you can speak and bear arms and you have the right to assemble.
00:37:52.160 Spain is doing this on their own. And I wonder, where are the American protests on this scale?
00:37:57.160 We are facing many of the same issues there. The mass immigration influx, the communist takeover, the the irreligiosity, the targeting of of of of conservatives and Christians.
00:38:08.160 And yet we are not rising up in the same way they are. And I think that that is a really troubling thing for Americans to be thinking about as we look at what's happening in Spain.
00:38:16.160 That's exactly right. You know, I've seen so many in the comments here just been absolutely on fire because we're seeing these people saying, why don't Americans protest like this when we see our rights being stripped away, when we see our heritage, our culture being stripped away.
00:38:33.160 And Evita, you've told us before what the Socialists did the last time they took full power in Spain, because you have the family history on this, the history of the Spanish Civil War, which is completely lied to in every single textbook.
00:38:46.160 It's lied to about movies, lied about in movies, and that was lied to so much that George Orwell, when he went over to Spain, right, this was actually what you could say opened his eyes to the lies of socialism.
00:38:59.160 He wrote an entire book about this, and then it led him to write actually Animal Farm.
00:39:04.160 And then 1984, the Great Ninety Four, it was the Spanish Civil War, because he went over there thinking that, oh, it's all about freedom and equality, and it's going to be great.
00:39:12.160 And then it turned out to be savagery, brutalism, the killing of priests, the raping of nuns in churches, absolute degeneracy degradation going on the Soviet Union, the full on Bolshevik tactics that were being pushed in Spain.
00:39:28.160 Of course, it was shut down by the nationalists.
00:39:31.160 Why is it that we've been lied to so much about the Spanish Civil War?
00:39:36.160 Well, I think it's important for the left, right?
00:39:39.160 And the left weaponizes history all the time.
00:39:41.160 This is what they do.
00:39:42.160 If you pick up Howard Zinn's A People's History of America, right, that the whole point of that book is to rewrite American history on Marxist terms.
00:39:50.160 It's a lie. It's propaganda.
00:39:52.160 And so it actually becomes, for us in America, right, we look at a people's history and we can refute it.
00:39:57.160 And we have debunking Howard Zinn's A People's History, right?
00:39:59.160 That book actually came out.
00:40:01.160 The problem is when you look at international history, international politics, it becomes a lot easier for the left to spin these lies and to push that agenda because the public isn't always aware of it, right?
00:40:13.160 We're aware of our own history here in America, but sometimes we don't always look on the outside.
00:40:17.160 And so, like you said, they've had a monopoly on information and it's important for them because the communist values and takeover and the atrocities that were committed are paralleled all the time.
00:40:30.160 Even in America, right, we saw glimpses of it during the BLM riots.
00:40:34.160 And so to keep that intact and to pretend like this was a democracy people's revolt and not what it really was, which was anti-Catholic hatred, death, destruction of the economy and the values of an entire nation.
00:40:50.160 That is essentially that's it's essential to say that this was not what it was in order to have the same thing happen here in America.
00:40:57.160 So history is so important. We always have to stay up on it and know when there are lies or when it's happening in real time.
00:41:03.160 And I'll tell you what's happening in real time right now.
00:41:05.160 Either the media is not covering what's happening in Spain right now or they're doing a really poor job of covering it and siding with Pedro Sanchez because they demonize the right.
00:41:14.160 Demonize Vox, they call them extremists or Nazis and they're not. This is a regular.
00:41:19.160 These are like MAGA Republicans being called extremists. So very similar. Lots of parallels.
00:41:24.160 Yeah, a lot of that going around lately. Look, this is what we're seeing, folks. And of course, where do we have the left protesting right now?
00:41:31.160 Columbus Square, Columbus 1492, Spain. It's all tied together.
00:41:37.160 Stay tuned as we continue our exclusive special on the socialist coup in Spain with Evita Duffy Alfonso and Human Events continues.
00:41:44.160 I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:41:49.160 Jack Posobiec back here live, Washington, D.C.
00:41:52.160 We're covering down on the socialist coup that's ongoing in Spain at the moment.
00:41:58.160 The parallels we can see the possible history repeating itself, whereas they say history doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme.
00:42:06.160 Evita Duffy Alfonso is our guest. She's had family that lived through the Spanish Civil War.
00:42:12.160 She's explained the horrors and the atrocities as well as the lies about the Spanish Civil War in the past that we've seen throughout Hollywood, throughout our textbooks.
00:42:21.160 Evita, what's the latest that you're hearing? Because you mentioned that you spoke to not only some family members, but also members of Vox. What's going on?
00:42:28.160 Yeah. First of all, it's been very heartening for them. I have a family friend who used to be a social media manager for Vox, actually, who said that they have always been having a problem with young people and feeling like they don't care.
00:42:42.160 And suddenly these protests have just rejuvenated the entire movement and brought people together, not just in unity of Spanish heritage, also their Catholic identity and against everything, not just that with the amnesty agreement and the Catalonians, but also what the socialists are doing and what that agenda means for Spain.
00:43:02.160 What they describe that is Venezuela 2.0. They're saying that they want to, I mean, they have mass influx and immigration from North Africa.
00:43:11.160 They've now, because of this massive Muslim immigration, that's a hallmark, right, of multiculturalists, of people who really don't care about keeping the integrity of Western civilization.
00:43:24.160 They're allowing all of these immigrants to come in. Now they have no-go zones. Spanish women are under threat in these areas. They can't go to them after dark because they'll be afraid of getting raped or killed.
00:43:37.160 This is a very serious. And also Spain is not a country that has the right to bear arms. So they are especially vulnerable. The people are now realizing what the socialist agenda has meant for Spain, the destruction of their country and of just basic safety.
00:43:53.160 And they are rising up in the millions to fight against it. And like I said in the last segment, this is something for everyone in America to watch because we have rights that the Spaniards don't to assemble, to bear arms, to protest.
00:44:07.960 And we should be doing that as well because the same issues that they're facing, we are facing.
00:44:12.160 Look, we're looking right now at the birth of the Spanish resistance. We need the American resistance to take this kind of energy that we're seeing. This is Western civilization that's at stake. That means fighting up for our heritage. That means, I said this on War Room this morning, stop apologizing for Western civilization.
00:44:33.160 We are the ones who built Western civilization. We are the ones who built this society. We are the ones who constructed this culture through our hard work, through the work of the people who came before us.
00:44:46.160 And it's our job to maintain it and continue it coming forward. That means we're not going to throw the doors open for anyone to just waltz in here and do whatever they want with them.
00:44:55.160 And by the way, when it comes to Spain, they have a little bit of history when it comes to people being forced into their country, taking over it, taking over the, the Moors took over all of Spain, except for they had like one mountain, right?
00:45:07.560 They had just like one mountain left. And then finally they came down. This is where you get the conquistadors, the reconquista, the rest actually comes from the retaking, the reconquista, 1492.
00:45:18.380 I don't know why I keep saying that 1492 before Columbus sails over. This is the final battle, the battle of Grenada to retake Spain. This is what's at stake. This is a country fighting for their heritage and fighting for their freedom.
00:45:34.520 And so when I see people fighting for their heritage, when I see people fighting for their nationhood, when I see patriots, and to your point, by the way, I'd love to tease that out on you because you're saying that it basically Gen Z, that Gen Z is out there along with them, Catholics, traditionalists.
00:45:52.680 Why is it that Gen Z is wrapped up in something like this? Because I heard Gen Z was all just a bunch of, you know, socialist lefties.
00:45:59.100 There are those Gen Zers and then there are also, and this is across America, across Europe, a movement of Gen Zers who are very traditional, who have seen what's happening to their peers or even sometimes their parents and have gone completely in the other direction.
00:46:16.420 That's why in the States we have this massive influx of people attending Latin Mass and not just people, but young people attending Latin Mass.
00:46:24.500 There's now a growing movement of people who want to have large families. That has been on the decline for 100 years in America.
00:46:31.080 All of a sudden, we're back to big families. There's a countercultural movement that's happening across the West that is really important.
00:46:37.920 Something that I think you touched on that I think is important for people to know is that there is a very Christian, very Catholic movement that's happening in Spain right now.
00:46:47.480 We need to have the same thing in America. We talked about this on the break, that this needs to be our opposition to the anti-religious, godless left should be the same as in Spain, where we're talking about our Christian heritage, what our country was founded on.
00:47:04.480 The left has made it seem like we're a country that is removing God from everything, but instead we were founded by Christian leaders with the idea that democracy or a democratic republic really only works when you have moral citizens.
00:47:20.820 This is a really important thing to parallel as we think about what we should do in America.
00:47:25.960 I think that's exactly right, and I keep saying this over and over. This is why when the revolutionaries came to the United States in the 1960s, the very first target that they made was the role of God in the public square.
00:47:41.480 They targeted God first. They pushed God out of the schoolhouse. They pushed God out of the public square.
00:47:46.200 They started tearing down the Ten Commandments across courthouses. Guess what our laws are based on? Guess what our morality is based on?
00:47:53.620 You may not like it, but accept it. We are Western civilization, and we've always been based on these things. We've been based on these things forever, and if we throw out our culture, if we throw out our heritage, then we will be taken over by those with moral clarity.
00:48:10.060 The eco-terrorists of the left, the feminists, the transgressors, group after group, whatever you want to call it.
00:48:18.000 And then, of course, these Islamists in city after city that we're seeing not just in Europe, but now increasingly in the United States as well.
00:48:28.660 Why? Because they have moral clarity.
00:48:31.160 Last point on this, Evita, because I think it's interesting. Do you think that moral clarity is returning, and that's what Gen Z is actually resonating with?
00:48:41.460 Yes, I do. I actually think that we have gone so far in the other direction that people are realizing the push for witchcraft on Snapchat.
00:48:53.880 You can look that up. That's real.
00:48:55.300 Or just the sense of hopelessness, not having fulfillment in their lives, it's gotten so bad for this generation that suddenly many of them think, oh, my goodness, I'm not living correctly and have gone completely in the other direction.
00:49:11.940 Sometimes you have to really hit rock bottom before things can get better, and for a lot of people, that's exactly what's happened.
00:49:17.260 David Duffy Alfonso, from the streets of Madrid to the witches of Snapchat, thank you so much for always coming on and telling us all the latest trends.
00:49:27.600 Folks, fight for your language, fight for your borders, fight for your culture and your heritage, because at the end of the day, that's all we've got, and it's up to us.
00:49:38.100 No one is coming to save you.
