00:00:46.340 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:00:49.400 Christ is king.
00:00:51.040 We are following breaking news.
00:00:52.760 Just into CNN, a Georgia prosecutor officially dropped the historic rocketeering case against
00:00:58.440 President Trump and others for attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
00:01:03.360 Clogged showers, inadequate lighting, mold growth, broken windows, methane gas leaks, fire alarms
00:01:10.140 that don't work, non-existent heating.
00:01:13.740 During the last administration, these were some of the chronic living conditions in our barracks.
00:01:19.080 Even though these barracks are where hundreds of thousands of great warriors live, the conditions
00:01:24.340 were never improved.
00:01:25.580 So, the Department of War is investing more than $1.2 billion right now to improve barracks
00:01:31.340 conditions.
00:01:32.320 The task force is empowering local commanders, think garrison commanders, with more than $400
00:01:38.040 million to direct immediate work.
00:01:40.760 And we're launching more than $800 million in critical barracks renovations immediately.
00:01:45.120 President Trump says only a few points of disagreement remain on a possible deal to end the war between
00:01:51.780 Russia and Ukraine, with a U.S. official telling CBS News yesterday that Ukraine's government
00:01:56.900 had agreed to a peace proposal in principle.
00:02:00.420 Mr. Trump discussed the negotiations last night on Air Force One.
00:02:04.460 We're having some talks with Russia.
00:02:07.560 Ukraine is doing well.
00:02:09.060 I think they're pretty happy about it.
00:02:10.620 They'd like to see it end.
00:02:11.480 And we won't know for a little while, but we're making progress.
00:02:16.140 They're trying to get someone to start leaking classified information, national security information,
00:02:21.240 like, oh, I don't know, the current peace negotiations between the United States, Ukraine, and Russia.
00:02:27.700 Leak that out to try to gin up yet another impeachment of President Trump.
00:02:31.880 The White House is under pressure tonight after an embarrassing leak.
00:02:35.620 Bloomberg has obtained a transcript of a phone call between Donald Trump's right-hand man, Steve Witkoff,
00:02:42.380 and a key Vladimir Putin aide discussing the peace plan for Ukraine.
00:02:49.120 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
00:02:52.800 We're here live, Real America's Voice.
00:02:56.280 Folks, today is November 26, 2025.
00:02:59.120 Anno Domini.
00:03:00.780 And go listen to what we said yesterday.
00:03:02.400 So yesterday, I sat down and did an interview with Liz Wheeler over on The Blaze.
00:03:08.560 And we were talking about the Seditious Six, and I know I've said this here as well in other spots.
00:03:13.720 And we were talking about why did I think the Seditious Six put out what they put out, said what they said,
00:03:19.780 Senator Mark Kelly, the rest of them, why are they suborning sedition?
00:03:22.600 Why are they asking for this?
00:03:23.940 I said they're looking for another leak.
00:03:25.860 They want someone to come forward and leak on them the same way that the phone call between Zelensky and Trump all the way back in 2019 was leaked.
00:03:33.920 And they're trying to use this eventually to set up another impeachment, a color revolution, get Trump out of office.
00:03:40.100 That's what this is all about.
00:03:42.800 Well, little did I know that at two—so Human Events Daily runs live 2 p.m. Eastern to 3 p.m. Eastern.
00:03:49.320 At 2.53 p.m. Eastern, so we're on air, we're live, there comes a story, exclusive Bloomberg News.
00:03:58.440 And what does it say?
00:04:00.180 They have just received a leaked phone call of Steve Witkoff talking to the Russians all about the Trump-Ukraine peace deal.
00:04:10.540 It's Witkoff leaks, folks.
00:04:12.260 It's not WikiLeaks anymore.
00:04:13.560 It's Witkoff leaks.
00:04:14.520 So someone—we don't know who exactly—but someone with access to classified information—and if you remember, by the way, go back to the Mike Flynn leaks with the Russians, David Ignatius over at The Washington Post.
00:04:27.180 What did he do?
00:04:28.520 He got a leak through FISA.
00:04:30.580 So he got a leak through FISA, which was on the Russian ambassador, Sergei Kislyak's phone.
00:04:36.180 He got that leak of Mike Flynn talking to him during the transition period, and they used that to open up a Logan Act criminal investigation on National Security Advisor incoming Mike Flynn all the way back in December of 2020—or, excuse me, 2016.
00:04:52.980 Gosh, it's so long ago, 2016.
00:04:54.980 So could it be that elements of the U.S. government—and we don't know if it was specifically the U.S. government, possibly CIA, possibly Ukraine, and they passed it to someone?
00:05:07.040 We don't know exactly yet.
00:05:08.900 But there was a conversation between Steve Witkoff and the Russians, and they're having a conversation, negotiations.
00:05:15.940 The peace deal is going in.
00:05:17.920 You know, he's talking about how the call is going to go, Trump and Putin, and they're talking about their bosses.
00:05:23.960 It is really basic stuff that happens during negotiations, and the media is going to be very upset.
00:05:29.720 But, yes, this is standard negotiation dialogue, which he's having.
00:05:33.480 In fact, that's been Steve Witkoff's job.
00:05:35.780 That's what he was asked to do.
00:05:38.100 And, in fact, by the way, dutified, duly noted and appointed by the president of the United States as a cabinet-level position to go and seek peace with these various disputes.
00:05:50.440 Now, he had Israel-Gaza a couple of months ago.
00:05:54.040 Now we're looking at Russia-Ukraine, which has really become something of the white whale of this new administration because, of course, you're looking at the end of the first year and people saying, you know, is there going to be any end in sight?
00:06:06.000 Now, I've, you know, I can personally attest to these efforts because I've been there in the room, traveled all the way to the presidential palace in Kiev with Secretary Besant on the mineral deal, then traveled to Anchorage, Alaska with President Trump to sit down with Lavrov.
00:06:23.400 And Vladimir Putin himself also was there when Zelensky came to the White House, along with this coalition of the willing.
00:06:30.220 And what do we see also?
00:06:31.620 That Macron is now calling yet again for European troops and American troops to enter Ukraine to, quote, maintain the peace, have a be a peacemaking force on the ground.
00:06:44.260 Well, let me tell you something right now, folks.
00:06:46.680 The old dog doesn't have any new tricks.
00:06:49.540 The neocons have one playbook and only one playbook, and that is to leak, to obfuscate, to subvert, and to try to keep the war going because they don't want us focused on the invasion of our lands, places like Texas, places like Western Europe, where our leaders in those areas have been complete failures, and they don't want people waking up to what's actually going on.
00:07:14.980 Jack Posobiec, right back, Human Events Daily.
00:07:19.540 All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard.
00:07:45.560 We are back here, Human Events Daily, Real America's Voice.
00:07:51.200 Folks, somewhere along the way, we in this country, we went a little bit astray.
00:07:56.360 We traded real flavor for seed oils and processed junk.
00:08:00.400 And this Thanksgiving, it's time to take back our kitchens.
00:08:04.600 And Human Events' new partners over at Steak and Shake are here to help.
00:08:08.040 And they are introducing Steak and Shake's 100% pure beef tallow.
00:08:12.620 No chemicals, no fillers.
00:08:15.040 Just premium beef fat rendered the old-fashioned way, the way that my Polish grandparents used to cook.
00:08:20.580 Right now, they've got two options to choose from both at SteakandShake.com.
00:08:24.480 That's Steak and Shake with the letter N.
00:08:26.820 Now, that's the grass-fed beef tallow, only $9 a jar.
00:08:30.480 But then there's also the American Wagyu beef tallow, $12 a jar, with rich, buttery taste.
00:08:37.840 Or you could bundle them both together for $19.99 and revolutionize your cooking for not just Thanksgiving.
00:08:44.440 Think Christmas, think gifts.
00:08:46.400 Folks, fry the crispiest fries.
00:08:48.300 Sear the perfect steak.
00:08:49.320 Roast vegetables bursting with real flavor.
00:08:52.440 This is how food should taste.
00:08:53.540 So bring tradition and taste back to your table with Steak and Shake beef tallow.
00:08:57.780 Order now at SteakandShake.com.
00:08:59.960 That's SteakandShake.com with the letter N.
00:09:03.060 All right, so J.D. Vance, we're told right now we're down at Fort Campbell with Secretary of the Army Driscoll,
00:09:09.540 who has also been sort of the new special envoy on Ukraine working on this tack with Witkoff.
00:09:17.520 We've got some of the images right there of Vice President J.D. Vance as well as Dan Driscoll.
00:09:23.540 There with the troops handing out meals for this Thanksgiving time.
00:09:27.800 It's an incredible, incredible work from our Vice President, former United States Marine himself.
00:09:33.020 Oh, belay my last.
00:09:33.840 There's no such thing as a former Marine.
00:09:35.820 He is a Marine.
00:09:38.040 Someone else who is a Marine is joining us right now.
00:09:41.840 It is Dan Caldwell, a former, I can say former here, official over at the Pentagon.
00:09:47.140 Dan, how are you?
00:09:48.560 I'm doing fantastic.
00:09:49.960 Thanks for having me on, Jack.
00:09:51.320 So walk me through this story of the leaks, which I have to say, you know, when I was talking about, I said,
00:09:59.360 I predict there's going to be a leaked phone call of these peace talks between Trump and I thought it'd be, you know,
00:10:05.120 Trump and Zelensky or Trump and Putin.
00:10:06.880 But yeah, here we go.
00:10:08.060 Less than less than two hours later, we get this leak.
00:10:10.760 I'm calling it the Witkoff leaks, right?
00:10:12.720 We had the WikiLeaks and we have the Witkoff leaks.
00:10:14.480 And they're leaking this out because it's very simple.
00:10:18.500 They're trying to blow up these peace talks.
00:10:21.240 And people are saying, oh, well, he said this about Trump and he said this about Putin.
00:10:24.860 It's just stop, right?
00:10:26.060 Stop.
00:10:26.500 They're having a conversation.
00:10:27.800 He's building rapport.
00:10:29.040 Obviously, he's doing his job.
00:10:31.840 And Dan, what are you hearing inside the system?
00:10:35.520 Because I know you still have your ear to the ground in D.C. regarding these talks.
00:10:39.420 Why does it seem like this town, the town of D.C., is trying to blow them up?
00:10:45.680 Well, they want them to fail for a number of reasons.
00:10:48.700 So let's just say you've nailed it.
00:10:52.140 The timing of this is just too perfect, is that President Trump truthed out that Dan Driscoll
00:10:58.540 and Steve Witkoff were going to go Driscoll to Kiev, Witkoff to Moscow,
00:11:03.140 and that that was a sign that these talks were making actual progress.
00:11:07.720 So surprise, surprise, somebody, I have my suspicions of who it is, but I'm not going
00:11:14.580 to say it here.
00:11:15.620 But I'll just say it's somebody who doesn't want to see these talks succeed because they
00:11:20.340 have a vested interest in the war continuing.
00:11:23.480 And within Washington, D.C., there are obviously a lot of entities, you know, obviously certain
00:11:29.600 parts of the government, but also the think tank community, the media.
00:11:33.700 They invested in this narrative for years that Ukraine could achieve a total victory, reclaim
00:11:41.960 all the land it lost from 2014 to 2022, and ultimately deal decisive defeat to Putin.
00:11:49.500 And we all knew at the time, those of us that understand these things, that can do basic
00:11:54.700 math, understood that Russia had key advantages that the Ukrainians couldn't overcome, even with
00:12:00.920 American and NATO support, and that the war was always going to end at the negotiating
00:12:05.140 table.
00:12:06.160 And they denied that for years.
00:12:08.200 So their credibility is on the line.
00:12:09.940 And there's also people involved that have a financial interest in the war continuing.
00:12:14.720 So what they're trying to do is they're trying to take down people like Steve Witkoff, who,
00:12:18.360 by the way, I just have to say, I think is a patriot.
00:12:21.120 He could be sitting on a beach in Miami right now, but instead is flying around the world trying
00:12:25.160 to end wars for President Trump.
00:12:26.600 And they're also trying to divide the Trump team.
00:12:29.100 They're trying to pit them against each other.
00:12:30.940 And it's absolutely disgusting.
00:12:33.420 But I think that the silver lining is, it is a sign that these talks are making actual
00:12:39.080 progress.
00:12:40.000 And that's what this is really about.
00:12:43.860 And I think you're exactly right.
00:12:45.720 And by the way, that's so true about Steve Witkoff.
00:12:48.740 And by the way, so many other members of the administration, up to and including the president
00:12:53.640 himself, they could all be just sitting on a beach.
00:12:56.340 He could be sitting down at Mar-a-Lago, which is one of the most beautiful clubs in the entire
00:12:59.820 world.
00:13:00.640 And he could be kicking up.
00:13:01.860 He's got his money.
00:13:02.680 He's got his his fame, his family, his supermodel wife.
00:13:07.000 You know, he could be doing it all.
00:13:09.380 He's not.
00:13:10.300 None of these guys are.
00:13:11.200 Steve Witkoff doesn't even draw a salary.
00:13:12.620 And I believe, if I remember correctly, he still flies around on his personal plane.
00:13:16.860 He doesn't even take a government plane when he's doing all this travel all around the
00:13:20.860 world.
00:13:21.800 And imagine us actually having, you know, in the past, you couldn't even dream of having
00:13:27.260 something like this.
00:13:27.800 So, of course, what they're going to do is pit against it.
00:13:30.140 They're going to attack.
00:13:31.060 They're trying to do everything they can, because when when it comes down to it, I think
00:13:37.320 you're right that they are and they have been selling a lie for all of these years.
00:13:43.820 And particularly, I said this on Steve Bannon earlier this morning, particularly, I think
00:13:47.680 that the leaders of Western Europe are also using this this this threat of Russia, this
00:13:53.640 constant threat of war.
00:13:55.660 You have to be have to be careful.
00:13:57.160 You know, we have to keep continuing the war because it's it's very important or else
00:14:01.200 we're about to be destroyed.
00:14:02.180 What are they doing?
00:14:03.200 They're using that to distract from the failures of their own governments, the failures of massive
00:14:07.900 inflation across Western Europe.
00:14:09.600 And, oh, by the way, the failures of them to defend their borders in the face of this
00:14:14.440 massive migrant invasion that is absolutely embroiling all of Western Europe right now.
00:14:20.420 They're raping little girls.
00:14:21.880 They're killing people.
00:14:23.360 And they say, oh, don't worry about it, because, you know, the real threat is Russia.
00:14:27.940 And so I think that the minute that this goes away, now, all of a sudden, they're going
00:14:33.100 to have to face their own people.
00:14:34.200 And by the way, that's also holds true for Zelensky, who the minute that martial law is
00:14:39.380 rescinded in Ukraine, he's going to have to stand for elections, which he has yet he
00:14:42.960 has not done since twenty nineteen.
00:14:45.460 And he'll likely lose.
00:14:47.380 The polling in Ukraine shows that he will likely be defeated by either, you know, an
00:14:54.000 alternationalist or a former member of the military.
00:14:56.640 He he has a vested interest in the war continuing or maybe as part of the peace deal, getting
00:15:03.860 an out, maybe getting a condo and another country.
00:15:08.120 So I think maybe that may be at play as well, too.
00:15:11.560 I just I have to say something else, Jack, just to back up on on the attacks against not
00:15:16.040 just Steve Whitcoff, but Dan Driscoll, Vice President Vance and whatnot, is there is an
00:15:20.600 element of jealousy here is that you had the Biden administration full of these highly
00:15:26.100 credentialed diplomats and people that had served in all the right posts throughout their
00:15:30.860 career, people like Victoria Nuland, Tony Blinken, Brett McGurk.
00:15:35.760 And their entire legacy is one of failure and death and destruction.
00:15:39.740 And here you have guys like Steve Whitcoff, who in nine, ten months have ended more wars
00:15:46.460 and ended more suffering and ended more bloodshed than they did in their entire 20 and 30 years.
00:15:52.320 So they're jealous.
00:15:53.240 They're jealous of what Steve Whitcoff and President Trump and Vice President Vance and
00:15:57.900 Secretary Rubio and now Secretary Driscoll are doing.
00:16:01.180 And that is is is is so apparent in some of these comments you made.
00:16:05.280 I mean, God forbid you turn on CNN, but you can just see the acid and the jealousy coming
00:16:09.600 out of these people.
00:16:10.520 And I think you can't ignore that human element as well well, too, here.
00:16:15.480 Well, no, I think that's true.
00:16:16.460 I would just add that, you know, you go back to the Obama administration, which, of course,
00:16:21.420 Biden played a huge role in and all the way back to the events of 2014, where you've got
00:16:26.480 again, you just can't separate all of these things that happen.
00:16:29.900 And people say, why are you bringing that stuff up?
00:16:31.360 Because you can't separate them from the history.
00:16:34.380 You can't separate the fact that Biden's son was on the board of an energy company in Ukraine
00:16:40.500 while he was the sitting vice president in the middle of what a lot of people have called
00:16:45.220 a regime change operation.
00:16:46.980 Certainly something that had folks like John McCain and Lindsey Graham and others going
00:16:53.540 over there trying to fan the Amy Klobuchar was over there trying to fan the flames.
00:16:58.460 Standing with literal Nazis.
00:17:00.780 Right, right.
00:17:01.240 Standing on stage with literal Nazis and people who were mercilessly slaughtering Jewish and
00:17:07.700 Polish villages in eastern Galatia, you know, during World War II, these reprisals, the
00:17:13.180 Banderas.
00:17:14.440 And and yet, you know, we act like, oh, no, this was just, you know, it's just a totally
00:17:20.340 natural, organic uprising.
00:17:22.220 The United States had nothing to do with it.
00:17:23.760 And, you know, you really have to sit back and ask the question, you know, when when people
00:17:30.060 in the area feel that this was provoked, when we do things like that, they might just have
00:17:35.140 a point.
00:17:36.860 Yeah, absolutely.
00:17:37.900 As you cannot, there's a straight line from Victoria Nuland handing out cookies on the
00:17:43.300 Maidan to neo-Nazi organizations to what we're dealing with now.
00:17:47.240 It's a straight line of the of foreign policy establishment failure.
00:17:51.440 And that is the world that President Trump walked into.
00:17:55.580 And it's a world he has to operate in.
00:17:57.780 And this gets to the most important point, is that there there is this delusion that there's
00:18:03.160 this magic set of sanctions and munitions and arms that you can dump into Ukraine.
00:18:09.980 You can impose these sanctions on Russia and Russia will buckle and withdraw and agree to
00:18:16.020 terms that are more favorable to Ukraine.
00:18:17.620 That is not reality.
00:18:20.420 And the reality is, is that the longer this goes on, the worse it gets for Ukraine.
00:18:25.960 And President Trump and his team knows that.
00:18:28.540 And that is why they were aggressively pursuing this deal.
00:18:32.440 And all the people that are trying to say that it gives too much to Russia or it's going
00:18:37.060 to undermine Ukraine's sovereignty, wait six months, wait six months, and it's going to
00:18:41.600 be fundamentally worse for Ukraine.
00:18:43.720 And the deal will be worse for them then.
00:18:45.500 No, the deal's only going to get with the best deal is the first deal, right?
00:18:50.900 The best deal is always the first deal.
00:18:52.420 Every single deal since then, the price goes up and up and up, not just terms of concessions,
00:18:58.440 but also in terms of the amount of men, materiel, manpower and human lives that are lost every
00:19:04.640 single day on the battlefield of a war of choice, a war of choice.
00:19:09.800 Right back.
00:19:10.340 Jack Posobiec and Caldwell Human Events Daily.

00:19:56.620 troops, not the Trumps, over at the DFAC.
00:19:59.400 And it's incredible to see him there handing out some chow.

00:20:18.340 bank accounts, emails, and more at risk.
00:20:21.100 Google is publicly denying the severity of the breach.
00:20:23.880 And the real problem is far worse.
00:20:26.060 Those leaked Gmail logins came from criminals compiling people's personal info from data brokers,

00:21:29.700 Dan Campbell, Caldwell, gosh, Ford Campbell, slept on a plane again last night, Dan, what
00:21:34.960 can you do?
00:21:36.500 I think it's my fourth red eye in like six days or something.
00:21:40.220 Uh, so, uh, running, running down to the bone here, but, but, uh, Dan Caldwell, as we look
00:21:47.920 at Ford Campbell, um, what is the deal with all of these peace plans?
00:21:54.900 We hear the 28-point plan, the 19-point plan, the European plan, the Ukrainian plan, the Russian
00:22:00.860 plan.
00:22:01.780 Is there any one plan?
00:22:03.880 And I think obviously the answer is that clearly these are ongoing negotiations and people
00:22:07.760 are trying to get in.
00:22:08.500 And so what are your sense that on that, but then also let's get into some of these sticking
00:22:13.300 points on the various iterations of the plans.
00:22:16.360 So first of all, my advice to all your listeners and viewers is what I was told when I went as
00:22:25.060 a Marine to Iraq, and that is believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you
00:22:29.800 see right now.
00:22:30.680 There is a massive disinformation campaign going on to try and shape the narrative about
00:22:37.220 these deals.
00:22:38.580 And you also have the Ukrainians, the Russians, and the Europeans, they're trying to speak
00:22:43.780 to certain domestic constituencies.
00:22:45.900 And in the case of the Ukrainians, I believe that they're trying to save face, is that a lot
00:22:51.500 of them know they're going to have to make some tough concessions, and they don't want
00:22:56.260 to give that impression right off the bat.
00:22:58.620 So there's a lot of people leaking to the various media outlets and friendly reporters trying
00:23:04.060 to shape a narrative here, and everybody should be suspicious of that.
00:23:07.040 But ultimately, at the end of the day, I think that this is really going to come down to a
00:23:11.280 couple major issues.
00:23:12.920 And first and foremost, I think the biggest one is Ukraine's alignment, whether or not it's
00:23:18.900 going to join NATO or it's going to join the EU, either economically or part of the whole
00:23:24.100 package, which includes certain security guarantees, and then what type of security guarantee is
00:23:28.920 going to be given to Ukraine and how that is structured.
00:23:32.720 Secondarily to that is the issue of territory, is are there going to be land swaps?
00:23:37.980 Is the line of contact going to be frozen?
00:23:40.660 Are there going to be other types of deals around territory, like a demilitarized zone?
00:23:44.640 And I think the other big issue is going to be the size and scope of the Ukrainian military.
00:23:50.440 And what I'd just finally say on this is, is that one thing that I would advise everyone
00:23:54.860 is, is that there's going to be some face-saving things for both sides that fall under these
00:24:00.560 buckets.
00:24:01.220 So like the cap on the Ukrainian army, in my view, doesn't really matter that much.
00:24:06.160 If there's a 600,000 cap or an 800,000 cap, the reality is the Ukrainians are unlikely
00:24:11.420 going to be able to sustain a military of 500,000.
00:24:14.740 But if there is a cap, then the Russians can say they got something out of that.
00:24:18.680 So there's going to be a lot of things like that playing out.
00:24:21.600 And ultimately, at the end of the day, where I think those issues are truly going to be
00:24:25.540 resolved is when Steve Witkoff and Dan Driscoll and others get it to a point where President
00:24:31.660 Trump, Zelensky, and Putin are ready to sit down.
00:24:34.920 And those, it's those three that are going to ultimately resolve those issues.
00:24:38.760 Well, and a big piece of this too, of course, is the security guarantee, because I've heard,
00:24:48.220 you know, what in one of the drafts, I believe it's the European draft, they're talking about
00:24:52.520 a potential roadmap for Ukraine to join NATO.
00:24:56.780 And I came on the program and said, well, there's no way Russia is going to agree to that.
00:25:00.960 And that's been their, their sole main sticking point of any, you know, of any agreement.
00:25:08.360 That's why they launched the war was over this issue.
00:25:10.900 So they're just not going to agree to that in any situation.
00:25:14.520 They're going to say, if that's your, you know, your condition, we're just going to keep
00:25:17.960 fighting.
00:25:19.160 And then when it also comes down to this, the idea of land swap, I, I, I saw that obviously
00:25:25.780 Wyckoff mentions that in the, in the leak transcript, but at the same time, I haven't really seen
00:25:32.300 any proposals for Russia to give back any land that they've taken, save that, that DMZ potentially
00:25:40.320 in Donetsk.
00:25:42.660 Correct.
00:25:43.560 And I think they hold small amounts of territory in Kharkiv and Sumi province.
00:25:48.580 They'd probably withdraw from there and maybe agree to some type of buffer zone, but there,
00:25:54.140 there likely wouldn't be a lot of, of land given back on the Russian side.
00:25:59.000 I think that's reality, but Jack, you're absolutely right about the NATO point.
00:26:02.600 And I think it's also worth noting too, that president Trump repeatedly going back years
00:26:08.160 has said that Ukraine shouldn't be in NATO and said exactly what you said is that this
00:26:13.160 is one of the main drivers of the war.
00:26:15.500 I was with secretary head staff back in February, where he made very clear in front of all the
00:26:22.280 NATO defense ministers and the Ukraine contact group that we don't believe that, that Ukraine
00:26:27.420 should join NATO.
00:26:28.740 And so I, I, I, I think that that for the United States and Russia is a deal breaker, but for
00:26:34.840 the Europeans, they keep pushing that in my view, because a lot of, a lot of the, the members
00:26:40.800 of the EU and European members of NATO, let's just be honest, they want the war to continue.
00:26:45.120 So they're trying to insert that as a poison pill to undermine the negotiations and ultimately
00:26:50.780 keep this war going on as long as it can for, for their own reasons.
00:26:55.920 Indeed they do.
00:26:56.520 All right.
00:26:56.760 Jack Rosobiec, Dan Caldwell, right back human events daily.
00:26:59.880 Jack Rosobiec, Dan Caldwell, right back human events daily.
00:27:16.720 Where is Jack?
00:27:19.200 Where is Jack?
00:27:21.380 Where is he?
00:27:22.680 Jack, I want to see you.
00:27:26.320 Great job, Jack.
00:27:27.860 Thank you.
00:27:28.620 What a job you do.
00:27:29.880 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:27:31.440 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys and these are the
00:27:35.900 guys who should be getting policies.
00:27:40.120 All right, Jack Rosobiec, we're back live here.
00:27:43.160 Human events daily.
00:27:44.040 We're on Dan Caldwell.
00:27:45.280 Dan, you know, it's, what's interesting about all of this is you and I are sitting here and
00:27:49.340 we're chatting during the break a little bit, but we're having this discussion about the
00:27:52.880 Ukraine, Russia peace deal.
00:27:54.160 We're trying to be very sober about this, not give, you know, not let emotions or,
00:27:59.880 you know, opinions really guard it other than this is analysis, right?
00:28:03.900 This is understanding what the status of forces is on the ground, understanding what the order
00:28:08.180 of battle is and trying to look at what's in the best interests of certainly the United
00:28:13.360 States and, you know, hopefully, obviously our allies and partners as well.
00:28:16.500 But that's not what you get from a lot of people when you read about this conflict.
00:28:20.960 What you get are these sweeping statements about legitimacy and credibility and histrionics and
00:28:27.760 shrieking from, you know, the neocon crowd.
00:28:30.980 And I guess, I guess my sense of it is, you know, and, you know, having worked in the IC
00:28:36.240 and having worked in DC, I do try to get us, you know, this, there's, there's one school
00:28:40.640 of thought, right.
00:28:41.440 That says, okay, it's all cynical.
00:28:43.020 It's all about money.
00:28:43.960 It's about oil.
00:28:44.660 It's about this and that.
00:28:45.660 And to be sure that plays a part, but I don't know if that completely answers the question.
00:28:50.760 I think that a lot of the neocons, they just actually believe this stuff.
00:28:54.380 Like it's a religion.
00:28:56.980 Absolutely.
00:28:57.720 Their religion is American primacy.
00:29:00.660 It is America needs to not just be the most powerful country in the world, which we should
00:29:05.820 strive to be, but we need to dominate the world so we can oppose liberal hegemony.
00:29:12.180 Is that they believe that ultimately America was founded.
00:29:16.780 And obviously this is the wrong interpretation of America's founding, but that America was founded
00:29:22.000 with this, this holy mission to make the world safe, not, you know, for Americans, but for
00:29:30.800 liberalism as a whole.
00:29:33.100 And so for them, especially over the last few years, is that Russia, Ukraine has become the
00:29:40.160 central theater in that battle.
00:29:41.860 Nevermind the fact that as the war is dragged on, Ukraine has indisputably become more illiberal.
00:29:48.500 You know, as you mentioned earlier, Zelensky's ruling under martial law.
00:29:53.300 They're cracking down on media outlets in Ukraine.
00:29:55.880 They're trying to close certain churches in Ukraine.
00:29:58.080 And they're press gaining tens of thousands of Ukrainian men and forcing them to serve on
00:30:03.940 the front lines.
00:30:04.960 By no reasonable measure is that a symptom of a healthy liberal democracy, not to mention
00:30:10.460 the recent corruption scandal that is rocking Ukraine.
00:30:13.940 And so for them, they are so invested in that narrative, in that mission, that if the war
00:30:21.700 ends with anything short of a total Ukraine victory, it is going to shatter a core tenet
00:30:29.700 of their faith.
00:30:31.360 And so that is driving a lot of this.
00:30:33.880 It's not like, it's not just the military industrial complex wanting to make more money.
00:30:38.920 In reality, Jack, as we've talked about before, is military industrial complex is more work
00:30:43.160 than they can handle.
00:30:44.320 They have like seven, eight, ten years worth of backlogs and orders.
00:30:48.800 So that's not the only motivation here.
00:30:51.560 Definitely people want to make money off of it.
00:30:53.600 But in the United States, in the Beltway, there are so many people just invested emotionally
00:30:59.020 and personally in this, that it's like this quasi-religious fervor that really has overtaken
00:31:04.980 their thinking and preventing them from doing reasonable analysis of this conflict.
00:31:09.360 I'm so glad you put it that way.
00:31:12.140 It truly is the religion of D.C., the Bible of the Beltway, if you will.
00:31:19.920 And the Bible of the Beltway gets taught when you're going through George Washington University
00:31:24.320 or you're going through Georgetown or whatever it is or any of the foreign policy schools.
00:31:29.240 You get taught neoconservatism, neoliberalism, and that is your soul.
00:31:34.840 And by the way, that doesn't matter if you're a Republican or a Democrat.
00:31:37.360 You get taught that this is a central tenet of our faith, that the United States must be
00:31:42.820 this, what they call it, you know, the global guarantor, right?
00:31:45.620 The global guarantor of the international rules-based order.
00:31:49.800 And by the way, Tony Blinken would talk about this at length.
00:31:52.440 And this is one of the reasons that they oppose Trump so much, because Trump doesn't play within
00:31:57.340 the rules.
00:31:57.900 He holds these unilateral calls.
00:31:59.440 He appoints people like Steve Witkoff, right?
00:32:01.600 So to them, they view Trump.
00:32:03.660 It isn't even just so much that he's offering, you know, a peace deal to the Russians.
00:32:10.100 It's the way that he's going about it.
00:32:12.240 He's not kissing the ring.
00:32:13.720 He's not going through the institutions.
00:32:15.440 So it's like he's not working through, you know, his diocese and his archdiocese and
00:32:20.940 his bishop and the monsignors and the cardinals.
00:32:23.260 No, he's set up his own religion, and he's trying to do it on his own.
00:32:27.580 And that's the kind of response you're getting.
00:32:29.640 You're getting a response of a religion that's trying to drive out a heretic.
00:32:35.740 Oh, absolutely.
00:32:36.540 You know, and in this case, the cathedrals are places like AEI, you know, on the right
00:32:42.240 and Brookings on the left, which I just have to note, the differences between those institutions
00:32:46.960 aren't much.
00:32:48.160 The same family runs the foreign policy program largely at both institutions.
00:32:54.980 Fred Kagan at AEI, his brother, Bob Kagan at Brookings, who, by the way, is married to
00:33:00.860 Victoria Newland.
00:33:02.100 So a lot of the, as you pointed out, like the debate really is within the 40-yard lines
00:33:07.420 here, and there's not much difference.
00:33:09.200 And that was the case for, you know, nearly 30 years until Donald Trump comes down the
00:33:14.540 golden escalator in 2015 and just blows it all up.
00:33:18.020 And a lot of the anger against him, a lot of the just the over-the-top rhetoric, and let's
00:33:24.080 be honest, a lot of the actions by the national security state against him have been driven
00:33:28.940 by the fact that he's a heretic in the main religion in D.C., and that religion is liberal
00:33:35.260 hegemony.
00:33:35.880 And by the way, you know, as obviously we see what's going on down in Venezuela or off
00:33:43.160 the coast of Venezuela, and certainly the president is within his rights and absolutely
00:33:48.060 within the interest of the United States to drive out narco-terrorists that are affecting
00:33:52.200 our country.
00:33:52.840 But at the same time, you do hear and you can feel those winds of liberal hegemony pushing
00:33:59.980 that naval flotilla, that carrier strike group, closer and closer to Venezuela because they
00:34:06.000 want to drive this out and get us embroiled in yet another war, the Vietnam of the tropics,
00:34:11.640 I guess, right in our own hemisphere because this is a religious fervor for these people.
00:34:17.120 Right, and again, as you and I have discussed, what matters in our own hemisphere is more
00:34:24.220 important than the negative dual issue of which Eastern European oligarch gets to loot
00:34:29.500 the Donbass.
00:34:30.640 You know, that's maybe a little flippant.
00:34:33.020 Let's just be honest.
00:34:34.340 It's like that doesn't really matter to our core national interests.
00:34:37.400 That's great power politics.
00:34:38.600 It's just true.
00:34:39.140 Yes, exactly.
00:34:40.480 It's just true.
00:34:41.620 But, you know, so we do—this does matter.
00:34:44.880 The cartels and other entities in the Western hemisphere are more of a threat to us than,
00:34:49.660 say, the remnants of al-Qaeda and ISIS in the Middle East.
00:34:52.860 But I don't think it's in our interest to conduct a regime change war in our own hemisphere
00:34:59.120 right now.
00:35:00.400 We'll see what happens there.
00:35:02.260 It looks like President Trump has maybe backed off and is trying to, once again, pursue diplomacy
00:35:06.500 with Maduro.
00:35:07.220 We'll see how that develops.
00:35:09.620 But it's interesting is that there actually are some people who traditionally are war hawks
00:35:15.560 opposing what is happening in Venezuela because, one, it's President Trump doing it, let's
00:35:22.000 be honest, but also, two, is that they are more attached to what happens in the Middle East
00:35:26.660 or in Eastern Europe than our own hemisphere because they don't really have an attachment
00:35:30.880 to here at home.
00:35:32.420 It's an attachment to the global project of liberal hegemony.
00:35:37.580 And so that's why you have Bill Kristol, who's never met a war he didn't like.
00:35:42.060 I mean, a few years ago, he was talking about making Cuba our 51st state.
00:35:46.200 It's like he's raising concerns about doing stuff in Venezuela.
00:35:49.180 And so that's something I'm starting to see pop up, is people opposing this and calling
00:35:55.540 for congressional oversight in Venezuela when they've opposed it for years in Ukraine and
00:36:01.280 Iraq and Syria and Afghanistan.
00:36:03.160 Because for them, it's about the global project, not what actually matters to us here in our
00:36:09.300 own backyard.
00:36:09.960 Right, because we're not exactly up against another empire there.
00:36:15.840 It's not exactly this crossroads of the world, the, you know, we're East meets West.
00:36:21.200 I mean, Ukraine itself, the name Ugoranitsa means at the border, it means borderland.
00:36:25.560 So it's always been this sort of area where, you know, you've seen this clash of empires.
00:36:31.000 And of course, we saw that in World War I, we saw that in World War II, and we see it yet
00:36:34.240 again today, Napoleonic Wars, it's everyone knows the history.
00:36:37.060 And if you don't, you should start learning it, because you will be doomed to repeat it.
00:36:40.900 Final minute to you, Dan Caldwell, and make sure you also give us your coordinates for
00:36:45.880 where to follow you.
00:36:47.240 Jack, I just want to say real quickly, you absolutely need to learn about that history,
00:36:51.660 not just World War II.
00:36:53.280 I'd advise everybody to learn about another war besides World War II, specifically World
00:36:57.620 War I.
00:36:58.440 But putting that aside, where you can find me the most is on X, at Dan D. Caldwell on X.
00:37:05.160 And Jack, thank you for having me on.
00:37:06.700 I really love this discussion.
00:37:07.780 All right.
00:37:09.280 And by the way, just to get this out there, because this has been kind of blowing up on
00:37:14.280 my Twitter feed, I got to know, what is your stance on green bean casserole?
00:37:19.000 Are you for or are you against?
00:37:21.040 Can green bean casserole be part of your Thanksgiving dinner?
00:37:25.700 I have never had green bean casserole as part of Thanksgiving.
00:37:30.860 That doesn't mean I'm opposed to it.
00:37:32.460 This is a cop out.
00:37:33.840 Maybe I'd like it.
00:37:34.600 Maybe I'm not.
00:37:35.100 That's just not something my family's ever done.
00:37:37.980 But OK, but how about in OK, how about in the abstract in general, is green bean casserole
00:37:43.260 served at your table?
00:37:45.320 I don't think I've ever.
00:37:46.480 I look my you may kick me off the show.
00:37:49.760 All right.
00:37:50.020 I see what's going on.
00:37:51.840 You're coming over.
00:37:52.860 We're having dinner.
00:37:53.740 Tanya's making the casserole.
00:37:55.220 We're going to twist you on this, man.
00:37:57.440 Absolutely.
00:37:57.940 I'd love it.
00:37:58.740 Going to get you on the team.
00:37:59.920 Hey, happy Thanksgiving, brother.
00:38:01.000 Thanks for joining me right back.
00:38:04.620 Cune Events Daily.
00:38:13.880 Jack is a great guy.
00:38:15.420 He's written a fantastic book.
00:38:17.120 Everybody's talking about it.
00:38:18.280 Go get it.
00:38:19.440 And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
00:38:23.380 And we're going to turn it around and make our country great.
00:38:25.960 Amen.
00:38:26.160 All right, folks, we're back.
00:38:31.760 Jack Posovic here.
00:38:33.020 Human Events Daily.
00:38:35.080 I want to thank Dan Caldwell for coming on and giving us that great round robin.
00:38:39.540 Ukraine, Russia, Venezuela.
00:38:42.200 We kind of hit all of it.
00:38:43.160 The Whitcoff leaks.
00:38:44.120 We got in there.
00:38:45.420 So Thanksgiving is tomorrow.
00:38:46.960 And we're obviously very excited about that.
00:38:49.020 I'm very excited about that.
00:38:50.240 We're going to be home, Philadelphia area.
00:38:53.420 I'm probably going to be probably going to be seeing a football game at some point this weekend.
00:38:58.740 But more to come on that.
00:39:02.000 And we've got something really exciting for everybody on.
00:39:06.740 So Thanksgiving Thursday.
00:39:08.080 And then, of course, Black Friday right after.
00:39:11.120 What we're going to be doing here on Human Events Daily is taking kind of a different tack on things.
00:39:16.120 And there's been a few stories that I've wanted to get to and really just sit down and devote a lot of time to.
00:39:23.360 And the biggest one, I think, of course, that's clearly on my mind and all of our minds.
00:39:28.540 It's certainly not never far from my thoughts is the murder of my friend Charlie Kirk.
00:39:32.860 And we are got the T-shirt on here, the black freedom shirt.
00:39:38.180 And these are available, by the way, if you want one of these, you just go to turningpoint.com.
00:39:43.960 They they gave me a shirt and they said that if I want the shirt, I have to say turningpoint.com.
00:39:48.620 So you can go and get the they've got shirts, they've got hats, they've got other things up.
00:39:52.000 But we're going to try to dig in.
00:39:55.820 Into the case of Tyler Robinson himself, who was this guy?
00:40:00.740 Why did he do what he's alleged to have done?
00:40:03.920 What was his relationship with Lance Twiggs, his homosexual boyfriend and then later transed furry lover?
00:40:15.520 And how did liberalism, furry fetishes, pornography and all the rest of it lead to what we're told is him.
00:40:27.740 Climbing up on that roof and taking shots at my friend.
00:40:32.540 And so we're going to spend two days on this.
00:40:36.520 We're going to go through leaks that originally were released by a YouTuber called Turkey Tom.
00:40:42.600 And we're going to talk about it with Liz Wheeler tomorrow.
00:40:46.320 And then on Friday, we've got clinical psychologist, Dr. Chloe Carmichael is going to join us.
00:40:51.740 And with Dr. Chloe, we're actually going to do a sort of, you know, psychoanalysis, psychoanalytical description of the relationship between these two.
00:41:01.220 So what makes them tick, how one drove the other and potentially what the motive may have been.
00:41:07.320 All of this is going to come out at the trial, by the way.
00:41:09.660 So, you know, we're clearly trying to get ahead of that.
00:41:12.120 But, you know, even from my own edification, you know, this is how I deal with things, folks.
00:41:16.700 This is how I when something like this happens, you know, other people, you know, have different processes.
00:41:23.260 It is my process is this.
00:41:25.060 I want to know everything.
00:41:26.440 I want to understand it.
00:41:27.560 I want to get my arms around it.
00:41:28.660 I want to get my head around it.
00:41:30.360 So that's what I dig into.
00:41:32.540 Last night, we played on ThoughtCrime some of the footage from last year's Thanksgiving episode.
00:41:40.000 And it was a really interesting time because I want to put you into the context of where we were a year ago, Thanksgiving, the last Thanksgiving.
00:41:48.900 So Charlie and I were down in Florida and we were spending a lot of time at Mar-a-Lago.
00:41:54.200 It was the transition period.
00:41:56.060 So just picture it, right?
00:41:57.260 The context.
00:41:57.880 Trump has just won the election.
00:41:59.820 The MAGA movement is ascendant.
00:42:01.700 Won the popular vote.
00:42:02.800 Won all the swing states.
00:42:04.060 And, you know, you're down there, you're seeing, you know, Pete Hegseth is coming in and then gets announced that he's going to be secretary of defense, later secretary of war.
00:42:15.100 You're seeing so many people come in through the cabinet.
00:42:17.680 You're seeing the incredible work of the Trump team as they go from being the campaign senior staff, Susie Wiles, Stephen Miller, Stephen Chung, Caroline Leavitt, everybody, you know, going through Taylor Budovich, Dan Scavino, so many names, right?
00:42:32.540 And I apologize for anyone that I may have missed.
00:42:35.320 But it's it was an incredible time.
00:42:38.900 And, you know, Charlie was on top of the world.
00:42:41.000 He was absolutely on top of the world.
00:42:42.960 Who does he want to be in the next government?
00:42:44.760 Elon, of course, is is all over.
00:42:47.700 And a lot of late nights just sitting out with with Elon on the terrace at Mar-a-Lago chatting.
00:42:53.840 So in the middle of all this, we put together a because, you know, we're all in great moods.
00:42:59.420 So we put together this thought crime Thanksgiving special.
00:43:04.860 And Charlie and I, for once, it was just the two of us in the studio together.
00:43:09.700 And it's just from a personal note, one of my one of my favorite times that we did the show and probably my favorite episode.
00:43:17.640 I'm going to go have to say and it's my favorite episode.
00:43:20.320 And I want to play a clip of that for you right now because it was not us just agreeing.
00:43:24.120 No, we got into it.
00:43:25.400 And I held Charlie's feet to the fire, by the way, by the way, I don't want to throw my mom under the bus because every single year.
00:43:31.520 And I know she's going to watch this every single year post that there's like a selection of pumpkin pies that is always available.
00:43:38.520 That's the way it must be.
00:43:39.060 By the way, do you think that pecan pie can also make an appearance?
00:43:42.660 Of course.
00:43:43.100 Yeah.
00:43:43.200 OK, good.
00:43:43.660 Other pies can be there, but pumpkin is the only one.
00:43:46.200 Pecan pie.
00:43:46.760 I actually prefer more than pumpkin pie.
00:43:48.660 Yeah.
00:43:48.860 However, I must have a slice of pumpkin pie.
00:43:51.220 Wait, wait, wait.
00:43:51.620 Were you always like that, though?
00:43:53.840 When you were little, my mom makes a killer pecan pie.
00:43:57.020 OK.
00:43:57.340 Like, destroys the world.
00:43:59.600 OK.
00:44:00.020 What about when I was younger, I was always pumpkin, but then pecan pie.
00:44:05.060 Now we're getting into chocolate pecan pie, and that's where you just surrender.
00:44:09.600 You're just done at that point.
00:44:10.820 It's just.
00:44:11.520 So you throw, you throw, because guys, you know, folks who don't know, Charlie, you're usually pretty strict with your diet.
00:44:16.400 You're usually.
00:44:16.820 Pretty strict.
00:44:17.260 It's like.
00:44:17.920 Yeah, you're usually like.
00:44:18.620 No, no, no.
00:44:18.960 But Thanksgiving's different.
00:44:20.300 Thanksgiving, you go all in.
00:44:21.700 So that's that's us one year ago.
00:44:26.460 That's me and Charlie in studio.
00:44:28.620 And, you know, I got to say, just look, no hate for pecan pie.
00:44:33.100 I like pecan pie.
00:44:34.700 I'm not against pecan pie, but it's not better than pumpkin.
00:44:37.660 All right.
00:44:37.900 It's just not better than pumpkin.
00:44:39.260 But to his credit, Charlie did admit that pumpkin pie is required for Thanksgiving.
00:44:45.700 And in fact, we put together and if you guys want to go watch the episode, it's up on on Charlie Kirk's podcast and you can get it on Human Events Daily as well.
00:44:54.840 We're going to be re airing a lot of this.
00:44:56.940 We put together Charlie Kirk's entire Thanksgiving menu.
00:45:00.360 And so I want I want everyone to go and check that out.
00:45:03.940 So he's got, you know, turkey is required turkey with gravy stuffing.
00:45:08.960 And he gives out an entire recipe for stuffing cranberries straight from the can.
00:45:12.360 No alterations, by the way, to the can.
00:45:15.920 Sweet potatoes, but no marshmallows.
00:45:18.060 Charlie believed that marshmallows were kind of a new age thing and they're not really part of it.
00:45:23.320 And then, yes, you you cap it all off with that commandment.
00:45:29.320 And what he said was the first commandment of Thanksgiving.
00:45:32.020 Thou shalt have pumpkin pie.
00:45:35.180 Great dinner.
00:45:36.100 Great meal.
00:45:36.880 I didn't know that.
00:45:38.940 I remember going into the episode.
00:45:40.160 I don't think we were planning to talk about Thanksgiving or maybe just we were going to talk about like what we did.
00:45:44.360 And I had no idea that Thanksgiving was such an important holiday for Charlie and something that he took so incredibly seriously.
00:45:53.320 But it was cool to see that that this really was a big holiday for him.
00:45:56.980 And, you know, I'll just say this, that, you know, you saw that video of of him talking about his mom making such a what he said, a killer pecan pie.
00:46:07.460 And I hope that she's making it again this year and I hope that she continues to serve it because it was her son's favorite, favorite pie.
00:46:17.220 And but you got to also have the pumpkin pie as well.
00:46:20.240 Can't can't break the first commandment of Thanksgiving.
00:46:22.860 So I know that all of us are going to be thinking about Charlie a lot during the holidays.
00:46:27.800 And what can I say?
00:46:28.780 It is kind of hitting me a little more.
00:46:29.960 I do also have.
00:46:33.960 Oh, it's over there.
00:46:35.020 The new book.
00:46:38.300 So this is a copy of the new book that Charlie is going to be putting out comes out December 9th.
00:46:44.040 I want to give some promo.
00:46:45.020 It's called Stop in the Name of God.
00:46:46.900 It's about how Charlie would take one day a week off of social media and focus on family, focus on God, focus on reading.
00:46:57.220 So taking that one day off, stop in the name of God.
00:46:59.820 And the forward is done by Erica Kirk.
00:47:05.400 So got my copy.
00:47:07.100 Really, really want to say thank you to everybody for getting the early copy of this.
00:47:11.140 We're going to be checking it out this weekend, of course, over Thanksgiving.
00:47:14.180 And if you guys want to get a copy of it as well, you guys can go ahead and preorder that right now.
00:47:20.720 And, you know, from the Poso family to all of yours, have a happy Thanksgiving.
00:47:26.500 Think of what you're thankful for.
00:47:28.480 Be thankful for the things that you have because you could lose them in an instant.
00:47:33.420 And I'll just say this, folks, that for this Thanksgiving at our table, we're going to be leaving a chair empty for Charlie.
00:47:43.980 As a reminder, not that he's gone, but a reminder that he's with us celebrating Thanksgiving up in heaven with Rush and all the heroes.
00:47:54.640 Because that's where Charlie is right now.
00:47:57.480 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
00:48:03.420 We'll be right back.
