00:00:00.000 .
00:00:30.000 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard to this Sunday special of human events, the battle
00:00:57.900 for the border.
00:01:00.000 .
00:01:10.000 .
00:01:11.000 TPUSA has just launched their latest docu-series, the very first one.
00:01:15.960 Of course, you knew about the Great Reset one.
00:01:18.380 Okay, we do our normal Sunday specials.
00:01:20.340 We just did the Holy Land special last week.
00:01:22.920 We also know about the FBI whistleblower that's out there.
00:01:26.240 That's running every single week.
00:01:27.680 But Turning Point now has their new special out called Border Battle.
00:01:33.680 And we have joining us the star of that new docu-series himself.
00:01:39.680 It's Sheriff Mark Lamb, Pinalcari, Arizona.
00:01:44.500 Sheriff, thank you so much for joining us today.
00:01:46.900 Thank you, Jack.
00:01:47.520 I'm kind of smirking because I'm the star now.
00:01:49.740 I like to think of myself as the protagonist of the story.
00:01:53.860 Well, I'm glad that we have at least a few protagonists because there's plenty of villains and adversaries and antagonists to be found throughout this entire piece.
00:02:02.980 Man, that is the truth, Jack.
00:02:06.080 It is crazy what is going on, not only in this country, but specifically where we come into play is at the border.
00:02:14.220 Well, Sheriff, for the folks who haven't seen it yet, because there may be some who haven't yet, what I want to do is just take a couple of seconds, play the trailer for the actual docu-series, and then we'll watch it together.
00:02:26.180 And then we'll come back on the other end, and I'll get your response to it.
00:02:29.800 Sounds great.
00:02:30.660 All right, let's do it.
00:02:31.320 Describe the cartel, pure evil.
00:02:47.080 They have zero regard for human life, and they're about as evil as they come.
00:02:53.400 They're not just a transnational crime organization.
00:02:56.100 They're well beyond that.
00:02:57.480 Now they have sophisticated weapons.
00:02:59.340 They have tanks.
00:03:00.780 They have drones.
00:03:01.820 They're dropping explosives.
00:03:03.540 We've never seen this before in the history of the country.
00:03:06.800 Fentanyl is an extremely powerful drug.
00:03:10.300 It is 100 times more powerful than morphine and 50 times more powerful than heroin.
00:03:16.160 It would be like three grains of salt.
00:03:18.180 If you were to have that much fentanyl, it would kill you.
00:03:20.300 I just think of every mom that is going to spend the rest of their lives without somebody they love.
00:03:26.140 It's not a red or a blue issue.
00:03:37.460 It's a red, white, and blue issue.
00:03:39.800 That's powerful.
00:03:41.160 That's incredibly powerful.
00:03:43.960 That's good stuff, and I'm excited.
00:03:45.360 I'm excited to have been part of it.
00:03:46.760 I'm excited that the American people are going to actually get a chance to see what we're dealing with here, and really that it's not an Arizona or a Texas issue.
00:03:55.000 It's an America issue, and I love what Derek Maltz said when he said it's not a red or blue issue.
00:04:00.120 It's a red, white, and blue issue.
00:04:02.360 Yeah, I actually got to be a little behind the scenes for everybody, so I actually was on set when Derek gave his interview to the team because we actually filmed that over here in D.C. where I am.
00:04:15.400 Of course, most of his work was down on the border, but it's also a situation that one of the things they get into in this first episode that just came out on Friday is this idea of the North-South divide on it.
00:04:29.640 Now, look, I'm out of Philadelphia.
00:04:32.260 We do the show from D.C., but for me, when I think of fentanyl, my mind doesn't go immediately to the border.
00:04:40.180 My mind goes to Kensington and Allegheny Avenue in Philadelphia.
00:04:44.860 Why?
00:04:45.380 Because it's completely populated by fentanyl zombies that you can see walking around any time of day.
00:04:51.840 You and I could go there right now, and I guarantee you there'd be hundreds of them walking around, shambling around, trying to get their next fix.
00:05:00.180 It is literally an open-air drug market.
00:05:03.140 Some of them die.
00:05:04.180 The city cleans it up.
00:05:05.580 But the people are left there to their own devices every single day.
00:05:10.580 And what's interesting is that in this first episode, one of the things they talk about is the difference between the North-South divide on this.
00:05:18.360 Because in the North, we do see the fentanyl deaths.
00:05:20.880 We do see the fentanyl overdoses.
00:05:22.540 We do see the fentanyl addicts.
00:05:24.180 But it's through the South that get hit with it first.
00:05:28.900 Because down there, it's not just about the drug trafficking.
00:05:31.980 It's also even more about the human trafficking that's coming in.
00:05:36.900 Yeah, and you're right, Jack.
00:05:38.280 My son is actually serving as a missionary in the Philadelphia area and served in the Kensington area.
00:05:44.180 Oh, no way.
00:05:45.500 I had no idea.
00:05:46.880 And he actually told me the same exact thing.
00:05:49.500 He said, Dad, this is like zombie land out here.
00:05:52.060 There's needles everywhere and people walking around like zombies.
00:05:55.380 And it's interesting that you bring that point up is because one of the most common things that I get from people is,
00:06:00.840 I feel sorry for you guys down in Arizona or Texas.
00:06:04.040 And I tell them, look, this isn't our problem.
00:06:06.700 This problem is coming your way.
00:06:08.920 As a matter of fact, the product, which is human beings, which you mentioned, and the drugs, is not designed to stay in Arizona or Texas.
00:06:15.960 It's designed to go throughout America.
00:06:17.700 And the disconnect, which has really been created by the politicians and the mainstream media's gaslighting of the American people, that disconnect is right there because they see the effects of fentanyl, but they're not told where it's coming from, which is right across our southern border into America.
00:06:36.840 Something that we could easily stop if we were committed to it.
00:06:39.840 So then what's very interesting, though, that I think for a lot of people is that, and this is something that you hear politicians starting to say more, conservative politicians, conservative leaders, this idea that every state is a border state.
00:06:55.840 Now, obviously, that's not true in the geographic sense, but it's true in the sense that the crime, the cartel crime that's affecting Texas and Arizona and New Mexico and the southern border states.
00:07:07.680 California is now also seeping all the way throughout the country so that it's literally a 50 state, even Alaska, a 50 state issue because of the drugs and because of the human trafficking that's pouring in.
00:07:21.940 And yet, because there are so many people that are benefiting, that are actually benefiting from this flow, that are getting a cut of it, we're told to completely look the other way.
00:07:31.680 We're told to focus on conflicts that are going on in the world thousands of miles away that involve people that have been fighting for for thousands of years.
00:07:41.780 We're supposed to they want us to focus on that.
00:07:44.020 They don't want us to focus on what's actually happening in our own communities.
00:07:47.820 And so I do commend you for putting this together, being the main, you know, voice in this.
00:07:53.780 But, you know, out of many, many voices, we're either currently serving, have served as a there's a whistleblower at one point, by the way,
00:08:00.300 who's currently serving in the Border Patrol on this.
00:08:03.900 And actually, for folks who don't know or they may have seen the Great Reset documentary that we did.
00:08:08.260 This is actually the same crew that worked on this piece that made.
00:08:12.500 So, you know, produced by the same the same team that went over to Davos.
00:08:16.780 It's actually the guys. And I think you saw the video as well.
00:08:19.140 It's the guys who are getting detained with me over in Davos right outside by Klaus Schwab and his thugs.
00:08:25.800 Yeah, I'm going to give a shout out to Marcus and Ken Ryan.
00:08:28.180 And it's a great crew. They work hard.
00:08:30.740 They really caught on to the vision, much like what you experienced over there in Davos.
00:08:35.520 These are guys that are committed to the project.
00:08:37.540 But, frankly, they're committed to America.
00:08:39.680 And they wanted to expose this just as much as I did.
00:08:43.280 They did so much work in Texas.
00:08:45.920 They talked to Derek out in D.C.
00:08:48.040 They were in Arizona.
00:08:49.200 They went everywhere where this story took them.
00:08:51.560 And where this story took them was all throughout America.
00:08:54.420 And that's what you're going to see.
00:08:56.280 You've seen it in one episode and you're going to see it throughout the other episodes.
00:08:59.580 Just how really this is affecting not just Arizona or Texas or the southern border.
00:09:04.640 This is affecting America.
00:09:06.720 That's 100 percent right.
00:09:07.980 And unfortunately, though, the brunt, it seems, of the violence is being affected more in the south.
00:09:15.600 Now, we are seeing the overdose deaths in the north.
00:09:18.080 And there's a philosophical argument that I've heard.
00:09:21.240 I find it interesting when they say, is every overdose technically a suicide?
00:09:25.720 And it's an interesting philosophical take.
00:09:27.920 But, you know, for the brunt of this, we're talking about the actual physical violence that's going on.
00:09:33.220 That really is more focused on the southern border.
00:09:36.840 And for folks who, you know, we should probably throw out there right now.
00:09:40.720 I'm not going to use the phrase trigger warning.
00:09:42.480 Right. But, you know, there's that idea of parental discretion advised.
00:09:46.300 I would absolutely say that for this documentary, because even in some of the scenes that I saw, this is gory stuff.
00:09:53.860 And, you know, for a Turning Point USA production, Turning Point's known, of course, you know, focusing with with students,
00:09:59.860 that this is a topic that includes some imagery that's very bloody, that's very gory.
00:10:06.940 You're looking at the aftermath in some cases of cartel hits, cartel executions.
00:10:12.920 And there are no punches pulled in terms of this is completely uncensored.
00:10:16.740 And you are going to see exactly in this documentary what the cartels are doing in places, by the way, and not just on the border.
00:10:25.220 It's it's this goes far, far, far north of the border, even into your county, into places of Texas, Dallas, Texas, which is nowhere near the border.
00:10:32.960 If you know Texas, this idea that it's happening everywhere.
00:10:36.880 We've got a couple of minutes left in this segment, but I wonder if you could if you could just touch a little bit generally on the violence.
00:10:42.620 We'll get into it more later.
00:10:44.920 Yeah, of course, we're seeing that violence spilling over.
00:10:47.080 This is violence that occurs in Mexico every day.
00:10:49.660 We are seeing that violence occur here in Arizona, Texas.
00:10:53.360 But I'll tell you, I talk to sheriffs all across this country and we are seeing more and more violence throughout the rest of the country as well that involves people that are here illegally.
00:11:03.440 And really, I want to touch on you had mentioned the fentanyl overdoses.
00:11:06.860 I think we got to call them for what they are.
00:11:08.700 And they are fentanyl poisoning.
00:11:10.700 They're poisoning the American people to the tune of over 100,000 people last year.
00:11:16.480 So not only do you have the violence that is spilling over in our communities, you have the poisoning of the American citizens by the cartels and by the Chinese who are providing the precursors for this.
00:11:28.100 And I think it's important, Jack, that we tell the story exactly how it is.
00:11:31.760 If you want to understand the reality of this, of the open border policies, you have to see it real and full on.
00:11:39.240 And that's the only way the American people are going to wake up to what is going on at the southern border and how this will cripple America and bring us to our knees if we don't fix it.
00:11:49.240 That's 100 percent right.
00:11:50.360 We've only got a couple of seconds left in this segment, but we're going to hold you over.
00:11:54.500 We've got you for the entire show.
00:11:56.380 I appreciate, by the way, being so generous with your time for us, for the Real America's Voice audience, for Turning Point USA because of the importance of this issue.
00:12:04.460 And we're going to get into that.
00:12:05.580 We're going to get into the poisonings.
00:12:06.920 We're going to get into the fact that the precursors are being sent by the CCP, and there is a historical precedent for that, going back to the opium wars.
00:12:14.300 And we're going to talk about what's happening with these cartels, how they've evolved from these mere drug trafficking operations into a almost parallel transnational criminal government that's operating as a transnational force across our border.
00:12:31.760 The question is, folks, we don't have control of our border.
00:12:35.460 They do.
00:12:36.060 And I'll tell you right now, in this fight, we're losing.
00:12:39.620 Stay tuned.
00:12:40.080 We'll be right back.
00:12:42.880 And we're back.
00:12:43.820 This is Jack Posobiec, Human Events Special, The Battle for the Border.
00:12:48.300 And I'm joined by the Sheriff of Pinal County, Mark Lamb.
00:12:51.700 Sheriff, before you left, we were starting to talk more and more about these cartels.
00:12:56.280 But before we go into that more about what the cartels are doing on our side of the border, I wondered if you could give us a little bit of, you know, when I was in the intel community, we would say an intel brief, you know, just a basic intel brief battle space update on what's the lay of the land?
00:13:12.340 How do the cartels operate when they're on their side of the border?
00:13:16.680 The Mexican side of the border, you know, the Mexican government, we're here, you know, we're told again and again, the Mexican government, oh, they're going after them.
00:13:24.160 They might arrest one guy.
00:13:25.480 But then we see these crazy videos that come out and we covered it on The Daily Show where down in Jalisco, for example, they got into what seemed like armed conflict, like something I'd see out of Ukraine and Russia.
00:13:37.880 But this is going on between the cartel and the government.
00:13:41.160 It looks like they've got actual paramilitaries that are going on inside Mexico.
00:13:46.500 So explain to me this, you know, we call them cartels, but I mean, we talk about them as terrorist organizations, but this is I mean, if they're a terrorist organization, they're almost ISIS level.
00:13:56.700 Give us a quick update brief on what the cartels have evolved to as of today.
00:14:03.580 Yeah, the cartels are virtually unencumbered down there in Mexico, so they're able to do their business without much resistance from the government.
00:14:12.160 They're much stronger than the government.
00:14:13.840 And this was proved positive when they arrested Chapo, Guzman's son.
00:14:18.500 And within 24, I think it was less than 24 hours, they put so much violent pressure with firearms and weaponry and overwhelmed the government to the point that they released him.
00:14:31.980 Now, what you've got in the cartels in Mexico is you've got various different cartels.
00:14:35.320 You've got the Sinaloa cartels, CJNG, which is Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación.
00:14:40.580 You've got a couple other, the Gulf Cartel.
00:14:43.680 Each one of them do a little bit different.
00:14:45.740 But for the most part, they focus on trafficking humans and drugs into America.
00:14:50.740 Now, some of them are so powerful and so wealthy.
00:14:53.120 And every day that this administration continues with their open border policies, these groups become stronger and stronger because of the amount of cash that is being brought right to the doorsteps with these 300,000 plus people trying to come to America every month.
00:15:11.100 And so they've become more and more powerful.
00:15:14.460 They're heavily armed.
00:15:17.200 Not only do they fight with the government, they fight with each other for power because so much money is on the line.
00:15:22.980 I think I heard that they're making about $200 million a week.
00:15:26.700 So there's an exorbitant amount of money that's being exchanged hands.
00:15:31.940 And when that happens, that comes with violence.
00:15:35.480 That comes with power struggles.
00:15:37.520 And those power struggles not just happen within, like I said, the cartels, but it happens with the government as well.
00:15:43.800 So essentially what you're telling us then is that the government has no control of them.
00:15:52.920 They're basically their own government.
00:15:54.460 I mean, this is something you would see out of the Middle Ages, right?
00:15:57.000 You know, where some warlord just kind of comes in, takes over territory, and then they're battling it out with the other warlords.
00:16:03.640 So the government, they might have the, you know, it's like, I guess, the king and the castle, but, you know, when you go, there's certain areas that are no-go zones.
00:16:12.180 These zones, though, that we're talking about, that's entire provinces down there in Mexico.
00:16:17.920 Yeah, Jack, and here's the sobering reality.
00:16:20.080 It's not just Mexico.
00:16:21.420 It's here.
00:16:22.520 The cartel own pieces of America that, in my county, they own routes that we don't have control over, nor does our government.
00:16:31.260 Our government can't stop the cartels.
00:16:33.960 They don't stop the cartels.
00:16:35.500 If they did, we wouldn't have a human trafficking and slavery problem like we've never seen.
00:16:41.040 And this is a hard topic for Americans because it touches a nerve.
00:16:45.760 But I don't think that there's ever been, slavery has ever been more prolific than in what it is now.
00:16:51.820 And not to mention the leading cause of death in America is fentanyl.
00:16:55.560 And our government hasn't stopped them.
00:16:57.340 So clearly, they have probably more power than we do down there.
00:17:03.040 And they have certainly not only extended their domain and their control over provinces in Mexico,
00:17:09.660 they're day by day extending that here in America as well.
00:17:14.780 So when you say, even before we get into this, this human trafficking and the slavery,
00:17:19.200 but you're not talking about their side of the border at this point.
00:17:23.640 You're saying that even here in our own country, what we would consider to be American territory,
00:17:29.040 which which we claim is American territory, there's whole routes, rat lines that are actually under control of these cartels.
00:17:38.640 Is that what you're saying?
00:17:40.240 That's what I'm saying.
00:17:41.100 And there are signs in the desert areas saying that our government, Bureau of Land Management,
00:17:48.200 has put up saying, warning or travel, proceed with caution.
00:17:53.920 Smugglers may be found in this area.
00:17:56.280 So we've just put up signs to tell the American people, hey, you probably shouldn't come in here anymore.
00:18:01.000 That tells you right there that we don't own those routes anymore.
00:18:03.840 Not to mention, we're finding, seeing videos and I have, I know people who have actually filmed bunkers,
00:18:11.400 bunkers on this side of the border, on the United States side of the border with armed cartel scouts
00:18:17.860 and cartel sicarios in those areas where they're not only trying to protect their loads from us,
00:18:24.700 but they're fighting with each other on that side with the other cartels
00:18:28.860 and from the RIP crews that are trying to steal their load.
00:18:32.120 And so the one piece of this that I can actually, I don't know if I ever told you this before,
00:18:38.680 but that I can actually share, though, is that, so Fort Huachuca, right there on the border,
00:18:45.500 the U.S.-Mexico border.
00:18:46.900 So I was stationed there for training a couple of times when I was in military intelligence through the Navy
00:18:53.120 and they would send us down.
00:18:54.180 Of course, that's Army base, but they got the biggest base for it.
00:18:57.420 That's the headquarters of it.
00:18:58.400 They said, hey, send the Navy guy down to the Army deal.
00:19:00.360 But I remember going around Fort Huachuca.
00:19:02.840 The hiking was incredible.
00:19:04.120 There's horses there.
00:19:05.680 There's so much you can do.
00:19:07.700 But we started to get messages from on base, security messages.
00:19:13.640 And this is going back, this is 10 years ago now.
00:19:15.800 It's right before I went to Guantanamo.
00:19:17.920 I went through initial training there for human intelligence.
00:19:21.600 And they told us, if you encounter any illegal immigrant encampments or any of the caravans,
00:19:29.280 just steer clear, radio it in, you know, give us a phone call.
00:19:33.200 We'll head out there on the dune buggies.
00:19:35.300 And the first time I heard it, though, I was thinking, wait a minute.
00:19:38.540 What do you mean encounter illegal immigrants?
00:19:40.780 I'm on a U.S. military base.
00:19:42.640 Surely there's no way that illegal immigrants would be able to get in here.
00:19:46.240 And they tell us, oh, no, they've been doing it for years.
00:19:49.760 So I just saw a headline last week that the base commander at Fort Huachuca actually sent a message,
00:19:55.940 a warning order, all the way up to his higher command at training command saying,
00:20:01.880 we're now at the point where it's gotten so bad, the base is being overrun.
00:20:07.940 They don't even have the resources to be able to respond.
00:20:12.240 This isn't just in the last week to be able to respond with the amount of illegal crossings that are going on.
00:20:17.940 And again, just throw in certification.
00:20:19.460 I'm not just talking about an empty stretch of desert.
00:20:22.020 I'm talking about a U.S. military facility on the border.
00:20:27.860 Sheriff, how is this happening?
00:20:31.760 It's happening because Joe Biden and this administration.
00:20:34.660 It's happening because we as Americans lost our will to do the hard work and to protect our borders.
00:20:42.260 We have allowed the cartels to gain the advantage of on us.
00:20:46.400 And like Jordan Peterson says, we probably won't win because we are not willing to say no.
00:20:52.080 So and until we have the moral fortitude to stop the things that are being that are being the evil and the pervasive things that are being allowed to enter our society through the southern borders,
00:21:07.200 if we can't turn and tell them no and put our foot down and stop it, then we're not going to win this battle.
00:21:13.540 And so this is the reason it's occurring is because of this administration.
00:21:20.460 And you may say, well, you're just being political.
00:21:22.920 No, I will tell you the statistics that that support what I'm saying.
00:21:26.940 In 2018, I had one pursuit involving involving illegal alien.
00:21:33.440 In 2019, I had two.
00:21:36.600 In 2020, I had 13.
00:21:39.720 In 2020, this year alone, I've had 45.
00:21:44.800 I've had a 250% increase in pursuits involving people coming to this country illegally, illegal aliens, people, humans being trafficked by the cartels and drugs being trafficked.
00:21:56.800 I've seen a 200% increase in traffic stops involving human smuggling loads and drug smuggling loads.
00:22:04.260 So when I tell you this, I'm telling you because I have the statistics to back it up right here in my own agency.
00:22:10.780 Well, but and even for your own for your own agency, surely that's got to be a major strain on your manpower, on your ability to do what you do, because I don't know if the you know, if the state government or the county is able to even have the resources to deal with that down there.
00:22:27.860 And, you know, I shudder to even think if the federal government is giving you any assistance.
00:22:33.440 You're right.
00:22:34.160 It is.
00:22:34.520 It is a strain on our resources.
00:22:36.280 And frankly, I don't want their money.
00:22:39.040 I want them to do their job, which is to secure the border.
00:22:42.080 Now, the good men and women of Border Patrol and CBP and HSI, they do an amazing job.
00:22:48.500 They're great men and women that put on the badge regardless of the fact they're not being supported by the Washington, D.C. bureaucrats.
00:22:55.860 So when I say this, I'm not talking about them.
00:22:59.080 I'm talking about Washington, D.C. has failed to do their job, which has put a lot of strain on us.
00:23:04.800 And it's costing us a lot of money and other sheriffs from across the southern border.
00:23:09.340 And then the states now and the counties are now having to pony up and say, look, we better allocate some funding from our own states to be able to help the sheriffs and the other agencies combat the problem that the federal government was passed to stop.
00:23:23.380 And every time you try to do something to stop it, they'll swoop in and fight against you to ensure that you do not do what they are supposed to do, which the irony is they're not doing.
00:23:36.280 And we've got about one minute left in the segment, but I'll throw out there just, you know, when when the horrific Uvalde shooting happened, you know, and the response was as crazy as it was.
00:23:48.360 But people don't realize that the Uvalde is right on a major trafficking corridor and the police there initially initially thought that it was another one of these gotaways and bug out situations that happens with with the caravans.
00:24:01.560 And that because the school had gone into lockdown something like three dozen times already this year prior to that happening in these gotaway situations rather than actually than realizing that from the initial reports that actually was an active shooter.
00:24:18.400 And that possibly delayed and hampered some of the response.
00:24:23.000 Now, again, again, I'm not making excuses for what happened there, but I want people to understand that this insanity going on on our border is having real effects on the resources of our law enforcement.
00:24:34.560 Sheriff, stay right there because I'm going to bring you back right after this break.
00:24:37.880 All right. We are back with Sheriff Mark Lamb of Pinal County, Arizona.
00:24:44.720 Sheriff, one of the things that you mentioned in this last segment here on our Battle for the Border special was this idea that slavery is still going on in the United States.
00:24:59.480 It's a different kind of slavery. It's not the agricultural slavery of the South as it was prior to the Civil War.
00:25:06.060 But it's a new kind of slavery that involves women, in some cases, underage girls, underage boys.
00:25:12.940 It's sex slavery. It's labor servitude of people that are being trafficked across the border by these transnational criminal cartels that are then putting these people essentially into bondage.
00:25:24.540 And at numbers that are what you're saying is they may actually be higher than anything that we've ever seen before in our country.
00:25:33.220 Tell us what are the type of things that you are seeing down there. Give us what you can of the statistics of it as well.
00:25:38.260 Well, Jack, 300,000 plus people are showing up to the border every month, every month, do the numbers.
00:25:47.000 Here's what the cartel understands. How many times can they sell you a pill? Once.
00:25:51.620 How many times can they sell you an ounce of cocaine? Once.
00:25:55.580 How many times can they sell you a woman or a child? Over and over and over again.
00:26:00.320 And so the way that they do this is they will put the women into sex slavery.
00:26:04.700 They put the children into sex slavery. And look, we have a major we have a really awful and disgusting and evil appetite in this country.
00:26:14.000 We're seeing now a society is trying to to normalize pedophilia.
00:26:18.980 And if you don't think that the cartel is more than willing to meet that demand, which is probably a very lucrative demand for them at this point, you're kidding yourself.
00:26:29.140 So children are being put into slavery. We've got the men that are being extorted and forced to pay off, even though they might pay a small a sum.
00:26:38.160 They usually will say, let's I'll give you an example. They charge six thousand dollars.
00:26:41.340 They say, give me four thousand. You can pay off the other two thousand.
00:26:45.000 And then these men are forced to work that off, but they never actually get out from underneath it.
00:26:49.200 So when I talk about slavery, that's the reality of what we're seeing every month.
00:26:54.080 And as Americans, we're allowing this to happen on our watch.
00:26:57.860 I'm going to tell you a story of a woman we caught a while back.
00:27:02.080 She had a baggie full of pills. And so we said, hey, what are these pills?
00:27:05.940 I was thinking they might be fentanyl or something.
00:27:08.480 And so she said, well, when I was going to cross the border, I knew that I was going to be raped multiple times.
00:27:14.720 These are morning after them.
00:27:16.960 Where in the world? Where did we lose our moral compass so bad that under the name of politics will allow this to happen?
00:27:24.400 We'll put politics in front of people. And that's truly what's happening every day.
00:27:28.440 And the longer we allow this, the more people that are being enslaved every day, women, children and men being enslaved in this country.
00:27:36.500 And it is not the American way. And we must put a stop to it.
00:27:40.440 And I completely agree with that. And it's it's horrific.
00:27:44.440 And I wonder why it is that outside of the, you know, two Sicario movies, you just don't hear very much in terms of what these cartels are doing and what they're capable of doing in terms of the real human depravity.
00:28:00.000 In terms of that, there's there's an image in episode one.
00:28:04.560 And again, you know, we've said to the audience a few times now that when you go watch this from Turning Point, that it's graphic.
00:28:12.200 OK, and it doesn't pull punches. It's completely uncensored.
00:28:16.080 And there is a depiction of a a rape tree.
00:28:21.240 Sheriff, if you can, I'd like if you could explain to our audience what is a rape tree?
00:28:28.600 What does that mean?
00:28:30.000 And oftentimes the coyotes are those who are paid by the cartels to bring their product into America, which is humans and drugs.
00:28:38.520 When they get to this side, oftentimes the price that they will exact on the women and children and sometimes even the men is to rape them.
00:28:48.240 And they will rape the women over and over again, just like the story I just told you.
00:28:52.420 And so they have these trees, these locations just on the other side of the United States side of the border that once they get here,
00:28:59.800 they will rape the women and hang their bra and panties from these trees like trophies.
00:29:05.220 And that is what we refer to as rape trees.
00:29:07.820 There are some that are more prolific than others.
00:29:10.840 But along the border, you have multiple areas where these coyotes or the cartel members will rape women, children and oftentimes abuse men as well.
00:29:20.420 And it's absolutely horrific.
00:29:22.580 There's a scene I remember very indelibly that it stuck with me from watching it that they had shackles on this tree.
00:29:32.920 And some of the images, this clothing, these were clothes that were meant, you know, I've got two little kids, right?
00:29:41.380 I've got a four-year-old and a one-year-old.
00:29:43.000 And some of the clothes that were hanging off this tree, it was clearly clothes that were designed for little kids.
00:29:48.640 We're not talking about adults.
00:29:50.140 And that's just something where, again, you know, to the point earlier, if it's not red, white or blue, excuse me, it's not red or blue, but it should stick with you from the point that it doesn't matter where you stand on the political compass.
00:30:08.880 This is just evil.
00:30:09.580 It's completely wrong what's happening here.
00:30:13.340 It's completely beyond the pale.
00:30:15.320 And we as a country, we will twist ourselves in knots over the historic slavery.
00:30:25.000 And we will constantly argue about it.
00:30:27.620 And, you know, should this monument be at Arlington or should we tear it down?
00:30:31.380 Well, what about the southern troops because the southern troops are still serving and have these debates at length even today for something that happened 150 years ago?
00:30:39.920 But we completely overlook the humanitarian crisis and depravity that goes on every single day in our southern states.
00:30:52.680 And, you know, I think I understand why.
00:30:55.600 But, you know, if I could get your analysis on the situation, you know, why is it?
00:30:59.520 Is it really, you know, should we be so cynical as to believe that because there are so many moneyed interests that are benefiting from this?
00:31:08.020 Some people think, you know, liberals think they're going to get voters out of it.
00:31:11.820 The big businesses think they're going to get workers out of it.
00:31:14.780 Is it really just as cynical as that some kind of drug deal that was made, you know, pun not intended, at the higher higher levels?
00:31:20.800 Or is there some other reason this does doesn't seem to break through in the mainstream?
00:31:24.580 Well, that's part of it, Jack.
00:31:27.460 But I will tell you, they telegraphed their mission two years ago when Joe Biden was running for office.
00:31:33.000 His his campaign slogan was he wanted to reinvent America.
00:31:37.320 Now, I don't know what the rest of America thought, but that set off alarms in my head and they are reinventing it.
00:31:43.340 And there are no better way to do it than right at the southern border by filling this country full of drugs like fentanyl,
00:31:49.400 by by filling our communities full of people that we have no idea who they are, many of them criminals,
00:31:55.220 not just here that already were sent back, but criminals from their own country come in here that we have no idea who they are.
00:32:02.340 Do you realize that for every I heard a statistic for every four children that are born in America,
00:32:08.920 there are three illegals coming to this country per year.
00:32:12.680 So basically, you're whitewashing the demographic and what this country was and you are, in essence, reinventing it.
00:32:20.340 And the last thing that I'll tell you that they're doing is they are undermining the rule of law right at the beginning.
00:32:25.640 They're telling them, hey, this law doesn't apply or that law doesn't apply.
00:32:29.200 And we're sending a message that we pick and choose which laws we're going to apply,
00:32:33.760 especially when it relates to political ideology.
00:32:36.880 And so those are some of the dangers we're facing.
00:32:39.560 That's really what's happening in America.
00:32:41.300 There's also economic impacts, huge economic impacts that we probably don't have time to go into today.
00:32:50.000 There are crime, increased crime, the slavery, the raping of women, the abuse of children, the extortion of men.
00:32:58.880 And then we talk about the drugs.
00:33:00.320 I know we haven't even gotten into that, but the dangerous drugs they bring in like fentanyl.
00:33:05.160 I mean, every American, honestly, if you are not speaking out against this and you are not telling your politicians you're not OK with it,
00:33:12.620 then I am going to tell you you are complicit in this behavior.
00:33:16.780 You are complicit in the slavery, the enslaving of women and children, the extortion of men.
00:33:22.720 And you're complicit in the poisoning of Americans across this country because you're like Abraham Lincoln says to sit by silence when they should protest, mixed cowards of men.
00:33:34.380 Amen.
00:33:34.640 And we have a couple of minutes, got about three minutes left, and then we've got another segment.
00:33:39.200 Let's let's get into that, though, a little bit.
00:33:41.040 The the actual poisoning.
00:33:42.660 So we've we've heard about what the cartels are doing in Mexico.
00:33:45.380 We've heard about what happens on the border, the slavery, the sex slavery.
00:33:52.400 But now we want to talk about this actual poisoning.
00:33:55.860 I want to remind everybody, by the way, it's Salem now dot com.
00:33:59.540 That's where you can go to watch this thing from October 7th through November 1st.
00:34:04.240 It's going to be up on Rav and Rumble after.
00:34:05.880 But for right now, it's exclusive on Salem now dot com to watch this border battle.
00:34:11.720 But, Sheriff, if you could get into this and we'll carry it over after the break, got about two and a half minutes left here.
00:34:18.120 This poison and I mentioned before, we talked about Kensington.
00:34:21.500 You said your son was there doing missionary work.
00:34:24.160 What is it about fentanyl that makes it so different from other drugs we've encountered?
00:34:29.780 Well, as you heard me mention in this and the first episode of Border Battle, it's 100 times more powerful than morphine and 50 times more powerful than heroin.
00:34:39.000 And if you really want to dive into some crazy stuff, it's not even crazy stuff.
00:34:44.420 This is how China dynasty was brought to their knees during the opium wars.
00:34:49.120 Yes.
00:34:49.660 And now the same thing's happening to us.
00:34:51.960 They're bringing America to its knees without ever stepping foot on American soil for the most part.
00:34:57.420 Well, you know, proverbial stepping foot.
00:34:59.440 But they are they're killing American people.
00:35:03.080 And and it's happening every day.
00:35:05.360 And we haven't even heard our president talk one time that I've heard one time about fentanyl poisonings.
00:35:12.060 And it is the leading cause of death in America.
00:35:14.320 Over one hundred and ten thousand American.
00:35:17.700 One hundred and seven thousand.
00:35:19.660 That number's probably gone up since then.
00:35:21.980 But one hundred and seven thousand.
00:35:24.080 We've been talking.
00:35:24.740 Yeah, it's gone up since we've been talking and it's only going to get worse because the amount of fentanyl that I'm catching in my county, I can only imagine what we're not catching and what's permeating through throughout America and what is affecting American families and lives every day.
00:35:40.880 And now we're coming up on our break.
00:35:43.800 So we're going to go into our last segment here, by the way, that point you made mentioned about the imperial China.
00:35:49.380 So this the fact that the British did that and we're the United States, that has no bearing on the Chinese because the CCP views it all as the the West writ large.
00:35:58.580 So the West did this to us and now we're doing it back to them.
00:36:02.320 So we're in the midst of the third opium war right now.
00:36:05.680 And the opiate of choice just happens to be fentanyl.
00:36:09.520 That's why the CCP is doing this.
00:36:11.660 They very much understand the havoc that it is wreaking to middle America.
00:36:16.760 And they're absolutely doing this on purpose.
00:36:19.800 From their perspective, it's getting revenge on what the United States, well, not so much the United States, but the West did all those years ago to the Qing Empire.
00:36:29.660 OK, coming back in just a couple of seconds for our final segment here on this special with Sheriff Mark Lamb.
00:36:36.580 Do not go anywhere.
00:36:39.520 All right, we're back.
00:36:42.400 Our final segment here, Battle for the Border, this Sunday special with Sheriff Mark Lamb, who once again, we're just so thankful to you for being so generous with your time.
00:36:52.160 But it's also because it's such an important issue to get into this here.
00:36:56.620 Battle for the Border available now, SalemNow.com.
00:37:00.520 Everyone must go there.
00:37:02.580 You can see this documentary.
00:37:04.100 More importantly, share this documentary with folks who are out there that think, well, that's not that important.
00:37:09.940 We need to focus on the Middle East or we need to focus on Eurasia.
00:37:14.000 We need to focus on something that's happening far, far away.
00:37:16.860 This isn't far away.
00:37:18.200 This is happening right here on our own country.
00:37:21.160 And guess what?
00:37:23.120 This fentanyl poisoning.
00:37:24.260 It's happening in your own backyard.
00:37:27.380 Sheriff, talk to us how this crisis has turned every state into a border state, every town into a border town.
00:37:36.340 Yeah, the amount of fentanyl the cartels bring it in here and they're making it so cheap.
00:37:43.140 And not only that, they're putting it in everything, first and foremost, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, the little THC vape cartridges.
00:37:54.100 We're finding fentanyl in all of that.
00:37:56.440 We're seeing cocaine addicts that are being poisoned by fentanyl that never once took a fentanyl pill.
00:38:01.380 It's because the cartels want you to be addicted to their product the first time you use it.
00:38:06.720 Now, they really love the fentanyl pills and they're selling it here in Arizona.
00:38:10.200 It's 50 cents to $2 a pill.
00:38:12.820 The little Bobby can take $20 out of his parents' wallet and go buy anywhere between 10 and 20 pills, sell a few, take a few.
00:38:20.460 But here's the problem is 40% of all the fentanyl we're recovering right now here in Arizona for the DEA are lethal doses.
00:38:28.320 And let me just give you some statistics, Jack, up here in Pinal County, Arizona.
00:38:33.720 Just my county, this doesn't include any of the other police departments in my county.
00:38:39.120 In 2018, we had zero M30 fentanyl pill seizures.
00:38:42.900 In 2019, we had 677 pills.
00:38:46.380 In 2020, we had over 200,000 pills.
00:38:50.380 And in 2021, we had over 1.2 million pills.
00:38:54.300 But this year, I would expect that we will far surpass 2 million pills.
00:38:59.420 And I shudder to think that we've probably only caught, if we're lucky, maybe 10%.
00:39:04.360 So this is going to be a major problem for America.
00:39:08.000 It's not just in your backyard.
00:39:09.260 It's in your front yard.
00:39:10.200 And it's in your house.
00:39:11.800 I have been personally affected by it.
00:39:14.380 And I think that most American families will be affected by it.
00:39:17.840 So, look, this is a real problem.
00:39:19.580 And if America doesn't wake up, we're going to be brought to our knees by it.
00:39:22.960 Well, and one of the ways that people can see this, and just going back to the city of Philadelphia, because, again, that's my frame of reference for a lot of this, is NARCAN, right?
00:39:32.640 So NARCAN, we're hearing now that police departments around the country are starting to deploy with NARCAN.
00:39:39.980 They're just distributing it, making sure everybody gets some.
00:39:42.080 I know Special Forces guys that stayed in the military, guys that I worked with, they're deploying over.
00:39:48.900 When they go to Afghanistan, they're taking NARCAN with them, because they've got fentanyl and synthetics and super fentanyl and all sorts of stuff over there that they're encountering.
00:39:56.080 And in the city of Philadelphia, you're starting to see this in CVS checkout lines and Walgreens checkout lines.
00:40:03.820 They've got the NARCAN up, because there's so many people ODing that, at least, you know, with the NARCAN up, you'd be able to get a little bit of a chance, right?
00:40:12.360 You have the ability to possibly counteract or counteract the effects of this opiate before it shuts you down completely.
00:40:19.720 But this idea that, you know, we're seeing something like, you know, it's like the adrenaline shot from Pulp Fiction in that, you know, the iconic scene, of course, with Umathermy and John Travolta.
00:40:29.560 But, you know, you're seeing stuff like that when you go with your kids to check out at the drugstore is sitting out.
00:40:36.980 That's where we are right now as a country.
00:40:39.620 Yeah, we've lost our moral compass.
00:40:41.560 It's broken.
00:40:42.660 You know, we had seven hundred and I think sixty two overdose or poisoning calls, whatever you want to call them, in twenty twenty one.
00:40:53.320 Now, not everybody dies, but think about the amount of NARCAN we had to use in those calls.
00:41:00.460 That's an average of two per day that we're getting called to.
00:41:03.760 And those are the ones we got called to.
00:41:05.840 How many did we not get called to where people survived or maybe didn't survive?
00:41:11.100 Let me give you some statistics of fentanyl, because you don't even have to ingest it to die from it.
00:41:16.160 You had mentioned that the special forces are using it.
00:41:18.720 Last year in Arizona, thirty three children died from fentanyl poisoning.
00:41:24.760 Seven were under the age of one.
00:41:28.160 That statistic alone should get every politician unelected and get people in there who are going to put America first and who are actually going to do what it takes to protect American families and our communities from the dangers of human trafficking and drug trafficking.
00:41:42.900 Because it's not about immigration, it's about human trafficking and drug trafficking into America.
00:41:48.760 You know, when when when we look at.
00:41:51.140 Some of the solutions that have been brought up in terms of this, because I want I want to show people that there is some hope, that there are solutions that have found a way forward.
00:42:00.940 Of course, one of the most famous ones or possibly infamous ones was was the idea of a border wall.
00:42:07.540 Can a border wall, a true border wall and I, you know, I just got back from Israel, we did the last week we showed the Holy Land special.
00:42:14.240 We showed the actual wall that they have up between the West Bank and Israel over there.
00:42:18.620 This enormous concrete wall with spotlights and watchtowers and everything else, you know, razor wire at the top.
00:42:25.840 Can can an actual border wall help in this situation if it goes all the way across?
00:42:30.900 Absolutely.
00:42:32.220 Absolutely.
00:42:32.720 It will help.
00:42:33.340 Is it the end all be all?
00:42:34.400 No, no, no, you've got a couple of that or, you know, combine that with technology, ensuring that you have enough Border Patrol staffing, not bogging them down with babysitting people that are coming here illegally and making false claims of asylum because they didn't follow the rules that were set forth.
00:42:52.300 And we allow them to continue to not follow the rules.
00:42:56.180 You've got to do a lot more than just build the wall, but the wall is absolutely effective and it works.
00:43:02.440 I see it every day and yet we stopped and we left gaps in the walls or there is no wall.
00:43:08.700 They can just walk right around the edge of it.
00:43:11.060 I will always have issues in my county because on the south end of our county, we have a Native American reservation.
00:43:16.840 They're likely to never build a wall there, but at least you can create funnels and choke points to where we can focus more Border Patrol agents into that desert area and catch people as the cartels trying to push them through.
00:43:30.320 So, yes, the wall work, but there's a lot more to it.
00:43:33.640 But it starts with just being enforcing the rules and laws we have in place.
00:43:38.520 You can't come here illegally.
00:43:40.280 You can't come and claim asylum if this is not the first country you arrived at after leaving your country.
00:43:46.700 And just because you didn't like your country doesn't constitute an asylum claim either.
00:43:51.440 You have to be a political persecution, some of the other things.
00:43:54.620 And it's just we've allowed it to get totally adulterous.
00:43:59.520 Now, let's talk about the cartels specifically, because we hear every once in a while the Mexican government, the federales go after them.
00:44:07.280 But then there's a question, of course, about how much of the Mexican government, the federales may be complicit with cartel activity or have been been turned or corrupted by it.
00:44:15.940 Because, again, I hope people understand this is an industry of hundreds of billions of dollars we're talking about here.
00:44:23.340 And so the question is, what could be done better on our side of the border in terms of cartels?
00:44:30.840 And I'm not going to go out there and call for full on military action into northern Mexico at this point.
00:44:35.740 But, you know, maybe, maybe consider it could be considered by depending if we get a political change in Washington.
00:44:42.560 But what really could be done to shut down this activity of the cartels?
00:44:49.700 Well, you declare them terrorists and see this for what it is in an invasion.
00:44:54.900 Once you declare them terrorists, it gives you the ability to really use your special forces.
00:45:01.000 You don't even have to go in and create an exact war on northern Mexico.
00:45:04.700 You just send in your special forces and your elite military units, which those are deteriorating because of our woke military now.
00:45:14.100 But you send them in and you go in and you do what they do and you stop these cartels.
00:45:20.660 Look, I was a gang drug detective for a long time.
00:45:23.740 And the way you stop these bad guys is you put their proverbial boot in their throat.
00:45:29.640 And you make it you make them impossible to do their business.
00:45:33.660 You hold them accountable and you exact justice.
00:45:37.280 But I think by declaring them terrorists, which is what they are, because they're striking fear into the hearts of families across America every day and into the hearts of those who are being abused by the cartels that our open border policies are bringing right to their doorstep.
00:45:52.400 That's the first step. And go back to the Trump era policy.
00:45:57.020 But that's those work. Let's get back to those policies and then we can start to work on fixing the definitely broken immigration piece of this as well.
00:46:06.400 Yeah, I remember there was that. I don't know who was ever confirmed or not, but there was that New York Times piece that said, well, we've got, you know, Trump and the president was saying that asking around if if we could bomb the cartels.
00:46:20.080 And they put this out everywhere. Trump wants to bomb the cartels. Trump wants to bomb the cartels.
00:46:25.140 And I said, I don't have a problem with that. I don't have a problem with that at all.
00:46:29.120 Who is a problem with that? I don't think any normal thinking person has an actual problem with that, because, of course, the question is.
00:46:35.580 And with the same idea of designated terrorist organizations.
00:46:38.240 Well, how do we deal with terrorists? How do we deal with ISIS?
00:46:40.060 This drone strikes all day long. So I want to remind everybody, SalemNow.com.
