00:01:05.340Iran fired back, releasing these images of what it said were Iranian attacks on U.S. bases in Jordan.
00:01:10.920As Iran's new supreme leader announced a new strategy in its war with the U.S., appealing to other Gulf nations in the region to confront their, quote, real enemy.

00:01:26.140Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia soon to make good on that ask from Iran

00:01:35.320President Trump making a deal with Venezuela that he says will bring down gas prices for millions of Americans.
00:01:41.340Secretary of State Marco Rubio writing about it on X saying this deal is a huge win for both the American and Venezuelan people.
00:01:48.720It demonstrates how President Trump's bold foreign policy is driving America first wind, securing stable reserves and low cost oil in our hemisphere and lowering gas prices here at home.
00:01:59.540For the Venezuelan people, this deal will bring nearly 100 billion dollars in private investment, support thousands of high paying jobs and drive the reconstruction of Venezuela's economy.
00:02:09.860Jurors return tomorrow for day three of deliberations in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial as they decide whether she is criminally responsible for strangling her three young children.
00:02:22.160Before pausing Friday, the jury asked to examine Clancy's prescription bottles and the knife from her suicide attempt.
00:02:28.540The prosecution laid out a compelling timeline of Clancy's actions leading up to the murder, walking the jury through how she planned to get her husband out of the house before those killings.
00:02:37.640ladies and gentlemen welcome on board today's edition of human events daily we're here live
00:02:44.420on real america's voice today is august 31st 2026 ano dominate ladies and gentlemen the hour
00:02:53.680is later than you think the hour is later than you think what do i mean by that well let's go
00:03:00.980and look at the lindsey clancy trial where we know jurors are set for deliberations are conducting
00:03:08.820deliberations they're on double digits at this point i believe they crossed the 10-hour mark
00:03:13.940today is day three but there was a report that came out from in the courtroom the people are
00:03:22.060saying it's made up people are saying they don't believe it well i believe it because someone's in
00:03:25.800the courtroom. This is from Justice Serve TV. It says, at 9.15 a.m. up there in Plymouth,
00:03:32.060Massachusetts, Judge Sullivan takes his seat. Jury in Dapper Dan, alternate, still in his tie.
00:03:38.000Handsome woman, has on pink jean shorts, and juror in front row far left, white woman 40-ish,
00:03:46.500is wearing a pink sweater. Now look, I'm not going to say that we know for sure
00:03:53.460that because there are jurors wearing pink that that means they're directly tied to the
00:03:59.800lindsey clancy movement but we saw that very same movement where lindsey clancy's attorney1.00
00:04:07.080was just hailed as a feminist icon uh libby emmons and the team over at the post-millennial
00:04:15.680have the story where he was hailed as a feminist icon outside of the courthouse just earlier
00:04:23.620today, just moments ago when he walked out.
00:04:27.460And so when we look at all of these things, when we look at it, wait, guys, do we have
00:11:33.300Okay, Jack, first off, this is annoying to me.
00:11:36.580You have the journalists there, some of them actually competent journalists, covering this case,
00:11:41.200and they're being mixed in with the cuckoos that have driven across the country to come kiss Reddington on the cheek and support Lindsay.
00:11:48.320We've got to separate these two because they're getting too much airtime.
00:11:50.880But you know what? Maybe it's a good thing they're getting airtime because you see how people are thinking right now and they're thinking absolutely insane.
00:11:58.740I am talking about on Friday. I heard someone that drove from Indiana.
00:12:03.140There's another woman that drove from California. They are fawning over Kevin Reddington.1.00
00:12:07.160They're asking if they can kiss him on his shoulder. And he said it is unusual because his job is a criminal defense attorney.
00:12:14.060He's done this for decades in his mid 70s. And I'm sure he has never seen the fanfare that is happening right now.
00:12:20.880And the fanfare is disgusting because what you're supporting is someone that strangled one by one her three children to death.
00:12:29.000And you can have sympathy for what she was going through and empathy for what she was going through with her intrusive thoughts, her depression, her anxiety, as some of the prosecution witnesses said, her bipolar, too.
00:12:40.140But you should not have any empathy for this person who took exercise bands one by one around her children's throats and strangled them so hard it shrunk their necks into little cartoon necks.
00:13:03.840But what I see here is something that I'm all too familiar with.
00:13:10.640And look, it's even shocking to me to think that something as the heinous murder of three kids, two of them are babies, really, could be turned into something like this.
00:13:24.900But I hear the same language over and over.
00:13:27.000It's the language of we are oppressed.
00:13:30.960our feelings are weaponized against us and you are standing up for us as a liberator now for
00:13:40.440folks who don't understand what that might mean that to me sounds very familiar that's cultural
00:13:47.460marxism that you're hearing because it is cultural marxism to say to say to someone that
00:13:53.220you are not the acute or excuse me you are not the perpetrator when again we all know the legal
00:13:59.140ramifications of this case. She has admitted to what she did. You just outlined it. So if she's
00:14:05.620admitted that, that means she is not the victim. But of course, that's not what the cultural Marxist
00:14:10.940says. The cultural Marxist says we have to flip around who the victim and offender are. We have
00:14:15.840to flip that all around to make the offender the victim. And that's exactly what they've done here.
00:14:20.800And now what these fifth wave feminists are doing is they are making it so that all women somehow1.00
00:14:26.880are the victims of, I'm not exactly sure who exactly society, who exactly are they referring1.00
00:14:36.040to as weaponizing here? Who do you think they even mean? I think this has turned into a big
00:14:42.680attack on the healthcare system. And you have these women, let's say some of them have gone0.97
00:14:48.340through periods in their life where they haven't felt their best and they're trying to see their
00:14:52.760own struggles in this lindsey clancy case is really toxic because it is not the same postpartum
00:14:58.620depression feeling different after having a baby is not the same as his postpartum psychosis
00:15:04.560and this postpartum psychosis is so rare these women that are saying this could have been me
00:15:11.560no it couldn't have been that you should not want it to be you and this the videos that you're
00:15:17.260showing right now i mean this is berserk and it's very hard to wrap your mind around as a woman
00:15:23.140but like the prosecution said and if these people would stop making these videos where they're0.97
00:15:28.960making their kids a part of their puppet show if they would actually listen to the trial they
00:15:36.180would hear the prosecution the state the commonwealth as it's called in massachusetts
00:15:41.020say this is not about the health care system this is not about women's health we know some of that
00:15:47.460stuff is flawed needs to be fixed this is about did Lindsay Clancy have in her mind the knowledge
00:15:55.640to know right from wrong the capacity to understand what she was doing that day that's what this trial1.00
00:16:03.640is about but the women outside in pink have turned it into this circus about oh like everyone hates1.00
00:16:10.160women this is a war on women no it's not the trials about was this woman aware that she was0.97
00:16:17.520killing her children did she have intent to kill her children that day in january
00:16:24.620well and and i want to show we have another clip guys it's uh bravo two play clip bravo two
00:16:31.160we came from houston want you thank you i wish i wish someone would help my daughter
00:16:38.580We want to take you out for a steak dinner, Mr. Reddy.
00:16:50.600I had my mental health weaponized against me in family court.
00:16:57.560I had an issue whenever my son was postpartum.
00:17:01.160Or whenever I was postpartum, my second son was eight months old.
00:17:35.600this is like it's it's clancy mania lindon what's going on i just know kevin ruddington is going
00:17:41.400home to his wife and being like you will not believe who i ran in today again criminal defense
00:17:48.100attorneys they get the thankless position i've spoken to so many throughout my career and they
00:17:53.340say they're they don't get a lot of credit they're known as the bad guys in a lot of these situations
00:17:58.020because of the people they represent but at the end of their day the job is to make sure the law
00:18:03.120is upheld he is not i can't even imagine having these people come up crying to him that's why
00:18:09.180he's like i'm sorry you went through that but he knows that lindsey clancy was not just having some
00:18:17.160postpartum depression that's not even what they're arguing which makes this whole thing ironic but
00:18:24.340this is turned into and this is what's scary like you keep mentioning people think this is just in
00:18:29.420the interwebs of the TikTok and some crazy people. This case has put on the map that there are a lot
00:18:38.660of people out there that truly do not value human life. And they do not understand what it means or
00:18:50.320even takes to take away a human life and we're talking about three in this case
00:18:59.640you know this this needs to be unpacked we're gonna do that here we're gonna find out all of
00:19:07.220it because folks the hour is later than you think right back human events daily real america's voice
00:19:20.320talk about influences these are influences and uh they're friends of mine jack
00:19:36.420all right folks jack so we're back live human events daily real america's voice folks gold
00:19:49.420has been on a serious run, and it keeps pushing higher. So what's behind the move? Look at the
00:19:54.320forces hitting the market. War, geopolitical instability, tariff uncertainty, headline-driven
00:19:59.920volatility, and growing to questions about the strength of the dollar. That's why my wife and I,

00:20:50.340or give them a call 844-577-7676. We're on now with Lyndon Blake. She's investigative reporter
00:20:58.480over at Daily Wire. And Lyndon, so we're talking about Lindsey Clancy, the situation outside the
00:21:03.940courtroom. Now I want to go inside the courtroom a little bit because we know the jury's deliberating.
00:21:07.880We know it's day three. You know, we're kind of in that, you know, average span. We wouldn't say
00:21:13.280this is a long jury at this point, certainly not a quick return of a guilty verdict. And I do think
00:21:19.540that that likely has to do with the amount of medications that she was on and a lot of the
00:21:24.640pharmaceutical intervention that went into this, as well as some of the mental health questions
00:21:28.860that have been raised. But at the same time, you know, when when you're looking at these at these
00:21:34.660questions, should we expect then the jury to come back and and potentially be split? Should we look
00:21:42.700at it and think that they're, you know, potentially going to quit based on, you know, this insanity
00:21:48.100plea. Where do you think this is going to shake out? My hot takes on this case have been a
00:21:56.380roller coaster. And I will tell you, we were talking about during the break a little bit,
00:22:00.160but up until the closing arguments, really the last couple of days with the prosecution's expert
00:22:05.060witnesses during the rebuttal, I was like, she's going to get off by reason of insanity. She will
00:22:10.900not be held criminally responsible. I have always said I do think she would be in a mental
00:22:15.780institution for a long time because I do think Judge Sullivan understands that three lives were
00:22:21.680lost here and she should not be able to be back in society. But that all kind of changed for me
00:22:28.300during the closing arguments when the prosecution, who I think in a very sympathetic way, laid out
00:22:35.220her intent. I mentioned it earlier. They started about about their closing arguments by saying
00:22:40.440this is not a case about a referendum on women's health care or the health care system.
00:22:45.420We can debate that all we want, but that's not what this trial is about.
00:22:48.460The trial is about the three children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, who were strangled to death.
00:22:53.300And if their mother knew what she was doing when she did that.
00:22:58.140And I think the prosecution was able to lay out of the closing arguments that intent, that planning, her mapping out,
00:23:06.100Her not telling Patrick at first, like, okay, when you go get the food, go get Miralax.
00:23:11.020No, she waits to her right before he goes out the door and is like, oh, by the way, can you go by CVS and pick up that Miralax?
00:23:17.280Makes it seem like she hasn't been thinking about that for the last hour.
00:23:20.300I thought the biggest point the prosecution was able to make and the planning purposes, they laid out evidence that she strangled the three children in the basement to try to cover it up, kind of conceal what she was doing in the basement.
00:23:32.960And then after that is when she went upstairs around 533 and called Patrick back because she was like, oh, he can't come home yet because she wasn't through with her plan.0.74
00:23:44.820Kill the children, kill herself because she couldn't kill herself unless she killed the children is what her thinking was, according to the prosecution.0.97
00:23:51.960And on the flip side, I think Reddington, who showed control of the entire case, really, really just dropped the ball during closing arguments.0.97
00:24:01.340He held up pictures like you're seeing out there on your screen.
00:24:21.420She had to pass tests that said her brain was functioning normally to be able to leave earlier in January.
00:24:30.060And then the medicine wasn't even her inner system on January 24.
00:24:34.160So that debunks Reddington's entire closing argument, saying the medicine made her crazy, made her have this psychosis.
00:24:41.060So my thought kind of changed heading into deliberations.
00:24:44.980I said the prosecution really laid out a clear plan.
00:24:48.940if i could add the the one piece towards the end that for me watching this as well is when that
00:24:54.920i believe it was two uh psychiatrists and then an fbi profiler came up and talked about this
00:25:00.240this you know the hearing of voices and the fact that she only heard this voice when she was
00:25:07.760killing her children and that she never heard the voice before and she never heard it after and they
00:25:13.380said there has never been a case of hallucinations or psychosis that has had that pattern. The
00:25:20.420pattern is always that this is a thing that's going on for in bursts. It happens over the
00:25:25.860period of months. It doesn't just stop all of a sudden like that. And it, you know, I came back
00:25:31.700thinking, you know what? That sounds like something she was probably coached to say, probably coached
00:25:36.720to say by her defense team. And it just doesn't fit with or comport with the rest of these types
00:25:43.200to facts. And to your point as well, someone who has a psychotic break does not plan. They do
00:25:50.160something horrible for sure. I'm not discounting that, but they don't plan. They don't have this
00:25:55.280methodical, meticulous, planned out process, making sure that he goes to the restaurant that's far
00:26:00.140away, making sure that he's at the CVS long enough. No, no. The planning and the voices piece,
00:26:07.000that solidified a lot of it for me. I'm voting guilty if I'm on that jury. I really am.
00:26:11.460Yeah. And that voice was the one hole the defense could never close because they made it that critical piece of evidence, not only because they said that was a symptom of psychosis, but they said over and over again, that is what made her act. That voice is what made her do it. And like you said, no one even heard of the voice until after the fact, until she was on the phone with Patrick and one of the psychologists overheard that phone conversation.
00:26:37.200so yeah you look back at other psychosis cases like andrea yates back in 2001 who drowned her
00:26:43.060children still in a mental hospital to this day she heard voices over and over and over again
00:26:48.260and that's what they were saying lindsey clancy just heard a voice once that day we're of course
00:26:55.120unfortunately we're out of time we're going to be on verdict watch we'll get you back as soon
00:26:59.660as the verdict drops until then where can people follow you lyndon blake and we have the podcast
00:29:03.680By the way, getting messages in as the show is on here, this message comes from someone who has decades of experience in mental health in the state of Pennsylvania, who says,
00:29:17.120Not guilty by insanity is not a get-out-of-jail-free card.
00:29:20.480It's an involuntary commitment to a mental institution.
00:29:23.780Guilty but mentally ill is also not a get-out-of-jail-free card.
00:29:27.620It is you have to go to a jail where they have psychiatric units in the jail.
00:29:31.860that's how it is in pennsylvania so that's actually interesting guilty but mentally ill
00:29:37.360you know maybe and and then you get the full jail sentence works for me totally works for me uh
00:29:43.840speaking about pennsylvania got some got some news over the weekend uh checked in with some
00:29:49.140pennsylvania politicos and others and there is you know beyond all the josh shapiro stuff which
00:29:55.640of course we are focusing on and the atlantic is circling the wagons for little josh shapiro they
00:30:00.700don't actually need too many wagons to circle him i really just like one or two because he fits so
00:30:04.240easily um but there's an enthusiasm gap when it comes to republicans in pennsylvania and i expect
00:30:13.100this around the country and i wanted to get on mark mitchell from honest polling to talk more
00:30:20.460about that mark how are you doing great doing polling i'm in the field right now so we have
00:30:25.960our first big national tracker out this week hope people can come check it out
00:30:29.360All right. Well, well, that's exactly what I hear, because, you know, we're seeing these these anecdotes and, you know, where it's districts in Pennsylvania where we, you know, I talked about this last week, but I'll bring it up again, where, you know, you've got you had like a R plus four, R plus five district that's suddenly switching, you know, D plus eight, D plus nine.
00:30:50.920And, you know, in places like Western Pennsylvania, where District 12, which which is a rock rib conservative Trump district, as far as I can tell, and then you dig into it and you find, well, that it's because Republicans just aren't voting and they're not coming out to vote.
00:31:06.480And so that's why you're seeing so much of the swing, because instead of being motivated to come out, instead, they're they're not coming out.
00:31:14.280Achilles is in his tent, is what I said on War Room when asked about this.
00:31:18.360And so instead, you're seeing a massive swing in motivation and in enthusiasm for Democrats.
00:31:27.700But the real issue is that Trump won in 2024 because of a historically high for Republicans percentage of crossover Democrat votes and independent votes.
00:32:04.820And obviously Republicans have not hit a very great 119th Congress.
00:32:09.620a lot of people are looking at them and saying like, why didn't you put out more? But the problem
00:32:14.120is, is that Trump has always been the core of his movement. People have always looked for to him for
00:32:19.600leadership and for messaging, and he's been very great at it. And right now, objectively, it doesn't
00:32:25.140matter even if you're looking at left leaning or right leaning pollsters, his approval rating is
00:32:29.120not where it was in the first term. And it's because of the consistency in the messaging.
00:32:33.800So I do think it's not all doom or black pill stuff. If you look at the 2026 generic ballot, it's Democrats plus 6.4 on the Real Clear Politics aggregate. My polling is coming in at about that. And I think it's pretty accurate. I think the National House popular vote has been pretty good the last couple of cycles.
00:32:54.740So what that tells me is that they're actually relatively close to that 4% number, Democrats plus 4, where a lot of analysts have said that the Republicans have a fighting chance to maintain the House.
00:33:07.580And that's what all of this is about because to me, honestly, the Senate doesn't matter that much.
00:33:12.000Like obviously it will be symbolic, but the Senate is not really doing anything anyways.
00:33:17.180It really just becomes like who controls the House and what do they do with the power of committees and investigations.
00:33:23.440Republicans really want to maintain the House, even if it's just by a couple of votes.
00:33:26.980So we're actually not that far away from it. And the problem, again, in my opinion,
00:33:31.440has been Trump's messaging. And I had a chance, as you did as well, to talk to him at the fall
00:33:37.060of last year. And the message I said to him was, these problems with America are too big
00:33:42.740to really fix in any one cycle. And people want to see leadership that Republicans and Trump
00:33:49.240together, understand what our problems are, and that they have a plan to fix them long term.
00:33:54.600And so on the things that, I mean, 24, we really have to look at it and say that it was the perfect,
00:34:00.840perfect platform. Every single one of the things that Trump ran on was actually more popular than
00:34:05.400him. Deporting everybody, economic populism, reform of the federal government, like these
00:34:10.900are all very, very, very popular things. And so the problem is, is that on some very key issues,
00:34:16.200And let me not omit no more foreign wars. Right. So on all of these key issues, the problem is, is that Trump has come out and sort of counter signaled them.
00:34:26.220So on economic populism, he's talked a lot about, you know, the stock market. He's talked a lot about data centers. He's talked a lot about like really these major investments with all of these people who I think it's fair to call oligarchs with the no more war thing.
00:34:42.000we have the Iran situation with the mass deportations. We've had him sort of scale that
00:34:47.540back and talk about how hard some of these workers are. And he's had major wins. Like we were just
00:34:52.900talking offline about how incredible the stuff with H-1Bs are. I never thought we'd ever see1.00
00:34:58.300anything like what we've seen coming out of Project Firewall. These are huge shifts in the
00:35:03.320way the government looks at legal immigration, especially for a Republican. It's absolutely
00:35:07.300mind-blowing. But if you were to bring up H-1B with Trump, he would probably talk about the
00:35:12.740talent of American workers and how important it is to get these people here. So really,
00:35:17.340the problem isn't necessarily whether he's accomplished anything or not. It's that the
00:35:21.980things he says have created a situation where people are looking at his movement and not seeing
00:35:28.320a consistency of the mandate. And I do think it is a signaling thing that we could see some major
00:35:34.140changes on, like, you know, is it enough to like necessarily undo the last year? Like, I don't
00:35:40.360know, but we have two months and it is close and things change. There's a lot that can happen
00:35:45.460between now and November. Uh, and it's almost impossible to predict, you know, we could have
00:35:50.080very good news out of Iran. Uh, you, you know, but I think what, when I see you, like you brought
00:35:55.600it up, there is an enthusiasm gap. So the last poll I did with Rasmussen, Democrat plus four
00:36:00.500on the generic ballot, like right where you'd expect it to be. But then the Kamala Harris
00:36:05.300voter from 2024 has a 10 point, very enthusiasm advantage over Republicans. And that's more in
00:36:11.860line with what we've been seeing with Republican primary turnouts versus Democrats, what we've
00:36:16.500been seeing in special elections. And so if Republicans want to do better than the polling,
00:36:21.780if they want to close the polling, if they want to give Trump a chance to keep the Republican
00:36:25.460house there needs to be a feeling of winning of momentum of unity and that is not what we're
00:36:32.080seeing like online and it's a whole bunch it's so clear and i want to dig into this after the break
00:36:37.660mark because you're right is that there's a lot going on there's a lot and the problem is that
00:36:42.840when there's a lot you can get lost in the sauce and some of these wins project firewall like you
00:36:47.440just pointed out the cracking down on h1bs uh when you see i've been talking a lot about the
00:36:53.380crackdown on the antifa international networks the doxing of the antifa users on this server
00:36:59.780yet you don't see the comm strategy where's the rnc sending people surrogates out the mainstream
00:37:06.380media and talking about this why aren't they going up on the sunday shows and bringing this up again
00:37:11.340and again and again uh h1b's deportations cracking down on leftist networks uh bringing up the rest
00:37:18.020of it president trump he's up there he's got the venezuela oil deal which he's talking about he
00:37:23.140actually mentioned that a little bit I think when I was with him on Tuesday last week before he you
00:37:29.220know said it publicly which is great right but people want to know when's that going to affect
00:37:34.220me when's that going to affect my wallet and also what else is going on because they're they're
00:37:38.260feeling inundated right now they're feeling totally inundated and at the end of the day
00:37:42.660and I'm going to say this again when we come back there's only a few news cycles left between now
00:37:47.840and election day and if you go to when ballots start going out in some of these key states
00:37:52.260there's maybe only one news cycle left. So it really comes down to who wins the news cycles
00:37:58.480day to day between now and the end of the election to determine who is going to drive
00:38:05.180their voters out. Jack Posobiec, right back, Human Events Daily, Real America's Voice.
00:38:22.260So, we're going to call this the Jack Posobiec Appreciation Hour.
00:38:36.020I can say confidently, I believe, I think Josh Shapiro would be the vice presidential
00:38:40.280nominee if it wasn't for Jack Posobiec.
00:42:51.940Their jobs have been given away to the third world.1.00
00:42:54.360They don't feel like they have a future.1.00
00:42:56.300And of the things that were popular in the Trump platform, they were most popular with the under 40 voters. Holding criminals in the federal government accountable, most popular with the under 40 voter. Auditing everything with those, most popular with the under 40 voter.
00:43:13.240You know, getting rid of illegals who are taking their jobs most popular with the under 40 voter. And so, again, it's like Trump has these wins and he's not even talking about them. There's literally no messaging for these people that are not Republicans. And not only that, they're not even ideological.0.50
00:43:29.920And so, yeah, a ton of people who voted for Trump might sit out. I think a lot of independents will. But some of them are actually voting for Momdani. And this is the new shifting politics the Republican Party is not even aware of. Back when Doge was ripping apart the federal government, firing people left and right, Trump hit a 60 percent approval rating with the under 40 voters.
00:43:52.660Six months later, we polled favorability from Mamdani nationally, and it was 62% with the under 40 voters.
00:43:59.720So what these people want is literally just somebody that will speak to the issues they have and make it first and foremost.0.60
00:44:05.180You know, I think it would be very easy for Trump to do that because the older voters are going to vote Republican anyways.
00:44:12.520So it's like, how can we have a message that speaks to these people and doesn't turn off the older folks?
00:44:18.340I don't think it's like rocket science.
00:44:20.160I really don't think it's that hard. We need. Well, I think to your point, it's. Yeah, no, I think your point it would. And I've said this before, that where what combines the Mondami and Trump voter and combines that mindset is the idea of the establishment is screwing me.
00:44:39.940the system is rigged, the system has screwed me for years, and I want someone to smash the system.
00:44:46.020I want someone to disrupt it. The problem is, of course, as we've said, to burn it down.0.94
00:44:52.340So the problem, of course, is what happens when you, if you go the Trump route, the MAGA route,
00:44:58.800the Charlie Kirk route, you say, we're going to fix the system to make it better.
00:45:04.260And that's what Doge was all about, Elon, right? Elon was all about reforming things
00:45:09.180to then go on and do great things like like put a man on back on the moon put a man on mars obviously
00:45:14.040what mandami wants is to tear everything apart and destroy everything that we've built forever
00:45:20.460and that's it because he has all of this resentment and uh hatred of the country and the people who
00:45:28.620built it again and again and again i know this because i could see it on his face when i confronted
00:45:33.760him about it in the Oval Office. And so, of course, this is where you can start to get,
00:45:39.260we saw even when Trump and Domi were there with me, I was there, that they had this sort of
00:45:44.420agreement on, you know, the system or cost of living and things. But the difference is when
00:45:49.940you scratch beneath the surface and you find what the actual systems that they're talking about
00:45:54.640replacing it with are. But to your point, we're just talking about voters. The voters are going
00:45:59.720to go with the person who they think is going to cause the most chaos they want that yeah they
00:46:07.760want to drink the tears of oligarchs is i think part of it right so it's not wise to be perceived
00:46:12.780to be an oligarch now i can't have this conversation without in in good conscience
00:46:17.260mentioning a book plug of our mutual friend rich barris who wrote a book called burn it down
00:46:23.080and the whole theme behind that is like politics is changing such that the younger voter is so
00:46:28.220angry with the status quo, so angry with the way the system works, they feel like they're
00:46:33.440completely taken over by a government that represents only basically these big, powerful
00:46:38.940and wealthy foreign interests and companies, that there will be something that gets burned down.
00:46:45.120And so you have these Democrat socialists who are literally a Trojan horse for Marxism.
00:46:49.980And then you have the Republicans, which are the status quo. And so if Republicans want to succeed,
00:46:54.940And I really think they can. They need to offer a coherent vision of Republican governance that is pragmatic and plausible, like people believe them, where they will fix the system. And I still don't see a ton of signs that that's going to happen. And the problem is, is that, OK, these people are going to vote for Democrat socialists.
00:47:14.420Now, the thing about these voters is that, yeah, some of them are socialists, but a lot of them aren't. They're literally just doing the only thing they can do, which is vacillate between different sides until somebody represents them, right? Like, that's really what's happening here. And the point of the Republicans shouldn't be to dismiss all of these voters as socialists. It should be to convert them with something.
00:47:35.560And I'm telling you right now, converting them with like 1960s Tradcon plus Reaganomics is not going to work with these folks.
00:47:45.520No, and Mark, you, you, myself, Rich Barris and Joshua Lysak talked about all of this at AmericaFast last year at the panel we held together.
