00:00:13.200 which means we have wildly different references,
00:00:15.440 occasionally different opinions.
00:00:16.760 And at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
00:00:19.600 Now in my 30s, being the founder of New Shoes,
00:00:22.560 Good Taste is my business.

00:00:46.680 You're a generational yapper, like me.

00:05:04.200 I hit my dick with a hammer because it felt 1.00
00:05:06.220 better that struggling through that clusterfuck 1.00
00:05:08.520 show. 0.98
00:05:14.420 Let's bring it on there, guys.
00:05:16.540 Today's guest is on a mission to awaken
00:05:18.340 the world to the power of dreams.
00:05:20.660 She's a certified clinical hypnotherapist,
00:05:22.560 the world's leading dream expert. She's
00:05:24.160 been on countless talk shows and is the published
00:05:26.400 author of The Hero's Journey, The Love,
00:05:28.360 Sex, and Relationship, Dream Dictionary, and
00:05:30.260 more. It's dream expert, Kelly
00:05:32.260 Sullivan Walden.
00:05:36.220 I have all these beverages
00:05:40.520 and you've got none
00:05:41.640 I think he did come through with water
00:05:44.600 he got a beverage
00:05:46.820 it's good to be with you guys
00:05:49.200 hey so sorry it was so tense
00:05:50.620 that's okay I felt like I wanted to do a little
00:05:52.640 intervention and do a little like
00:05:54.440 can we learn some non-violent communication
00:05:56.620 oh non-violence
00:05:57.900 what do you got what's your advice from what you just witnessed
00:06:00.660 well oh my god
00:06:02.340 first of all I think it's beautiful
00:06:04.780 that you guys must love each other very much
00:06:08.120 in order to trust each other enough
00:06:10.360 to be able to vent out whatever's on your mind.
00:06:12.380 I mean, there's a lot of people out there.
00:06:14.100 Should I be listening like this?
00:06:15.300 Yeah, you can.
00:06:16.200 And also let me preface this in case-
00:06:18.040 Oh, that's loud.
00:06:18.380 Is it, oh, is that better?
00:06:20.040 Is it too loud?
00:06:21.040 I mean, you're doing great.
00:06:21.920 I don't know.
00:06:22.940 I don't know.
00:06:23.300 What do you think?
00:06:23.840 I think I'm just going to do it like this.
00:06:25.180 Okay, that's fine.
00:06:26.300 I want to preface this with saying,
00:06:27.640 if that segment somehow got cut,
00:06:29.760 Mike and I just got in another Mike and Logan fight.
00:06:31.600 We got in an argument, but it was about private matters.
00:06:33.440 But if it didn't get cut,
00:06:34.780 here you are talking about it. Okay. All right. So there's something called the submit rebel
00:06:40.800 cycle. And it's like, so like saying you're sorry for something, you know, that's a great thing to
00:06:46.500 do. However, it's usually like, like you do something that, you know, is a little bit bad.
00:06:51.740 It's kind of like scratching an itch. Like, I'm just going to say that thing. And then so that's
00:06:56.640 like rebelling and then I'm sorry. It's like submitting, but then that sets you up to have
00:07:02.180 to rebel again and then it's like it keeps the what's it called the submit submit rebel cycle
00:07:08.140 it's like i got caught in that in my career at one point yes yes yes yes i remember that i i said i
00:07:14.500 wanted to be the villain like i embraced trying to be the villain okay and then i'd get sucked
00:07:19.340 back into like apologies but like i am i want to be a bad guy and then back to apologies exactly
00:07:23.440 okay so the truth is it's like you're more than that you're more than those extremes and the the
00:07:29.080 idea is to get off that cycle and to just step into, like, I was, I was expressing myself like
00:07:35.400 to assume this is what I do. I assume that everybody's got a good intent behind everything
00:07:41.580 they do, even if the, even if the outcome is hurtful. So like what just happened here,
00:07:47.380 I would imagine you tell me your intent for, of saying the thing that you said about Greg
00:07:52.840 wasn't necessarily to hurt anybody, but maybe just to express yourself or to get something
00:07:58.220 off your chest and we all have a need to do that was there some i mean an underlying need that we
00:08:02.860 can all relate to that's not in it yeah i mean i'll be honest i was clapping back i'm from the 0.99
00:08:07.120 east coast so if you fuck with me i'm gonna clap back oh that's just what i do so like you gotta 0.95
00:08:11.280 remember it wasn't me just like it wasn't just me like yo this person somebody came at me and 1.00
00:08:16.500 hears me like this go back off oh got it okay off so so protecting yourself and we can all relate
00:08:24.020 It's coming for my crown, dude.
00:08:25.600 Okay, perfect.
00:08:27.880 Anyway, so I would say that from, if I were, can I say something to you, Logan?
00:08:32.640 Sure.
00:08:33.140 So in response, like if somebody said something hurtful about my dad,
00:08:37.940 it would definitely ruffle my feathers.
00:08:40.460 And by the way, my dad was a boxer.
00:08:41.980 I grew up in a boxing gym, so I can kind of, anyway.
00:08:44.760 My dad's a big, tough dude, but I'd do anything to protect him.
00:08:49.820 But I would assume before I like lose it, I would say,
00:08:53.120 okay mike i'm gonna assume the best i'm gonna assume that what you just did has a good intent
00:09:00.260 i don't i don't know what it was no no i you're right the intent was to clap back which normally
00:09:05.060 isn't a problem it was just he went for like a super low yes really kind of disgusting oh you
00:09:10.500 were really upset absolutely yeah i didn't know that yeah i remember the other day we talked about
00:09:15.540 how like i don't think you'd ever get me like upset on a podcast that actually like oh i was
00:09:20.000 kidding i didn't know you were actually upset about that that's like that's like joke i think
00:09:24.880 when it comes to our mamas and our daddies i say joe i'm sorry i say jokingly whereas i think you
00:09:30.500 know you think other people take it seriously not not i think not i think i know they do oh really
00:09:36.800 oh yeah oh i didn't know that oh yeah i've always known gp to be a stand-up gentleman i didn't think
00:09:42.240 this is the cool thing because you didn't know that you were that you were hitting him as deeply
00:09:47.020 as you did and you're so your intent wasn't to hurt this dude it's like no you were just being
00:09:53.040 funny and had you known that it would hurt him so bad i bet you of course i didn't know like that's
00:09:59.300 and yeah and let's switch it because by the way all is probably get caught but like the thing is
00:10:03.560 the thing is the thing is this it's the same with him like i put some time and effort into that 0.52
00:10:09.940 content i don't want somebody saying it's shit like i'd prefer that hurts me you know what i'm 0.53
00:10:13.500 saying and so like it's like yeah now we're just now hurt people hurt people and so look at us like 0.87
00:10:20.360 preach and so like here's the thing i hate being in a situation where it's like he makes a joke
00:10:24.700 about something that means something to me everybody laughs i make a joke back about
00:10:27.960 something that means something to him and i'm a bad guy it gets ratings it gets ratings and yet
00:10:33.280 at the same time in and i like out in the world my my what i teach people is to just say ouch that
00:10:39.740 hurt and to just it's more vulnerable do you know do you know the most effective way to defeat you
00:10:45.280 know this i'm gonna say this for the audience we'll see one of the most effective ways to
00:10:49.560 diffuse an argument with someone is by literally saying ouch physically saying ouch if someone
00:10:55.780 says something that hurts you say ouch yeah interesting yeah it's like oh my god you just
00:11:00.180 hurt me as opposed to immediate defense or anger which covers up hurt and vulnerability like to
00:11:05.760 reveal your vulnerability that does kind of sorry it's not good for ratings but you know
00:11:12.820 good for life and no yeah depth of relationship so it's kelly it's interesting you you came on
00:11:18.660 and almost immediately became a therapist for us i think we could definitely use you in our lives
00:11:22.260 but you do a lot of things because because we we we brought you on today to talk specifically about
00:11:27.560 dreams okay dreams you're the dream expert would you say one of the top dream experts in the world
00:11:33.360 I can't say that about myself, but I could say that it's something that I'm passionate about and I do it a lot.
00:11:38.520 And I think anything that we do and we become obsessed with, we start to develop mastery and it starts to become second nature.
00:11:44.920 Although the nature of dreams is that they're always bizarre and the more bizarre, the better.
00:11:50.660 If a dream is ordinary, then I think there's something wrong with the person.
00:11:54.020 If they're too ordinary, but there's always a moment of like, what the heck is this?
00:11:59.700 And then the clarity pops in.
00:12:01.260 So I always have to be willing to not know anything and just take a breath there and then allow the clarity to start to pop.
00:12:08.820 Got it.
00:12:09.160 So later, I do want to get into specific dreams.
00:12:11.800 We all have dreams.
00:12:13.040 We had some fans submit dreams that they've had.
00:12:15.260 Maybe you could help us interpret what they mean.
00:12:16.760 I would be so happy to.
00:12:18.240 What are dreams, though, Kelly?
00:12:20.920 Oh, my God.
00:12:21.240 What are dreams?
00:12:22.300 Oh, my God.
00:12:22.960 It doesn't make any sense to me.
00:12:24.080 You fall asleep and you just sort of imaginary movie comes to life in your brain.
00:12:29.000 There's so much that happens.
00:12:30.420 Okay. So from one perspective, we are infinite creatures. Like we look like we're just these
00:12:37.740 bodies sitting here in this room. But the truth is if we could like scroll back the movie and
00:12:43.500 look at the macro perspective, we're infinite. We're, we are so complex. We're connected with
00:12:50.500 mind, body, spirit, past, present, future. We're everything. And yet we've chosen this life to
00:12:57.100 experience this very limited incarnation. But when we go to sleep, it's like the veil is lifted and
00:13:02.880 it's like, ah, we can, we can experience all this stuff that's been suppressed and all the things
00:13:07.420 that have been nice and tucked away neatly. All of a sudden the freaks come out at night in order
00:13:12.320 for us to, to some degree, I believe, remember that we are more than just this and to have a
00:13:19.600 chance for the bigger part of ourselves to have a playground and to remind us and give us some
00:13:24.260 answers to our questions and our problems and insights are they are they answers though because
00:13:29.580 oftentimes my dreams are just nonsense just straight up nonsense there's boats with wings
00:13:37.460 that are bleeding and angels playing pinball and i for real are those real stuff oh yeah for sure
00:13:44.820 this one was a boat a big a big boat and it's always just cracked and i wish it wasn't because
00:13:50.680 it's my boat can we talk about it yeah later okay here's the thing it's vulnerable it reveals a lot
00:13:59.200 when you talk about dreams i think we know that that's why we kind of hide around them the dreams
00:14:03.620 are supposed to be bizarre because it's our it's our limbic system that's dreaming it's not our
00:14:07.900 conscious mind is online right now where we're logical and we're kind of like we're we talk in
00:14:13.720 a normal sort of sensical way but our limbic brain and our emotional brain that comes online at
00:14:20.520 night. It doesn't operate in order. It's not politically correct at all. So it speaks in
00:14:28.540 metaphors. So it's very poetic, our subconscious mind, our dreaming mind. And we can learn to pay
00:14:35.220 attention. It's like a language to look at it in terms of every symbol speaks a thousand words.
00:14:41.140 It's actually a super intelligent language. Our dreams are way more intelligent than our logical
00:14:46.620 mind that we're using right now. If we were really smart, we would totally pay attention
00:14:51.080 to them and integrate them into our lives. We would be a thousand times further along than we
00:14:56.220 are. Isn't there a way to master dreaming so you can control your dreams? You guys would be perfect
00:15:03.660 for that. Lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is what it's called? Yes. Don't you like do a dot on your
00:15:08.060 hand or something? There's a whole bunch of techniques. One technique yet is there's
00:15:11.980 definitely the hands where you like right now, if you guys want to look at your hands, just like
00:15:16.240 take a snapshot in your mind of your hands. I know they're cute, huh? Okay. So, so snapshot.
00:15:21.960 All right. So throughout the day, every once in a while, just look at your hands and remember,
00:15:26.900 okay. So that you're telling yourself when I'm, if I'm dreaming tonight, when I'm dreaming tonight,
00:15:31.360 if I remember that I'm dreaming, I want to look at my hands and somehow the hands are a trigger
00:15:37.380 to remind you that you're dreaming. And if you're aware that you're dreaming while you're dreaming,
00:15:42.880 that's when the fun can start that's exactly that's when you know oh my god i'm not confined
00:15:50.000 by the normal world by gravity by logic by by walls you can go anywhere and do anything the
00:15:57.260 moment you become lucid wow sounds incredible you guys would be that'd be amazing to do like
00:16:02.500 i don't know explore that with you guys i agree do an experiment with you the issue is though
00:16:08.400 to be honest, Kelly, I'm not dreaming often. And I'm like a creative person. It's almost like when
00:16:14.640 I go to sleep, my body and brain completely shuts off to rejuvenate. I've exhausted myself
00:16:23.380 in the time that I'm awake. Why am I not dreaming? Well, I think there's cycles. There's
00:16:28.400 periods in our lives when we're in massive production mode and we do need to sleep. So
00:16:32.880 we're always dreaming every night, seven to nine, no matter what. But your ability to recall those
00:16:37.840 dreams is, is up for question. And when you're super maxed out, when your life is, when you're
00:16:43.200 really, really living your dream full out, like you guys are, it's the, I could imagine that
00:16:48.620 sometimes it would be hard. There might be cycles where you have a dry spell because you're so
00:16:52.820 using your creativity out here. However, it's, I always say that it's great to keep a dream journal.
00:16:59.180 Even if you wake up and you're like, oh my God, that was a stupid dream. Oh my God, that's shoes. 0.99
00:17:03.120 What's the, that was nothing.
00:17:04.820 Just even, even if you don't remember anything to keep note of the first thought that you
00:17:10.220 have when you wake up in the morning, because often those are the most genius thoughts that
00:17:14.400 you'll have the whole day.
00:17:15.660 Like there's something bizarre and peculiar about them that will give you a hint that
00:17:20.680 will open up things and just speed you forward.
00:17:23.120 So keep a dream journal.
00:17:24.280 Even if you think you're not dreaming, you are.
00:17:26.120 Doesn't that help with lucid dreaming as well?
00:17:27.880 I heard you, it's just a dream journal.
00:17:29.840 Right.
00:17:29.980 When you wake up, you write down your dream.
00:17:31.460 Exactly.
00:17:31.860 And actually starting with before you go to sleep.
00:17:34.480 So before you go to sleep, it all starts before.
00:17:36.720 It's like a dream sandwich.
00:17:37.900 It's all the things that you do before and right when you wake up.
00:17:41.280 So set an intention before you go to sleep for not only that you're going to remember
00:17:45.520 your dream or not only that you're going to have a lucid dream, but that you're going
00:17:49.480 to dream about a particular thing, like an issue, like with regards to a girlfriend or
00:17:55.320 your family or health or whatever it is.
00:17:58.520 Everybody knows what their issue du jour is.
00:18:01.220 So you can write that down on a piece of paper or just think about it, focus on it.
00:18:05.060 And it's as if to say, dreams, help me figure out what to do about X or your X or whatever
00:18:10.900 that is.
00:18:11.520 And then, and I want to have a lucid dream about that.
00:18:13.880 Ideally, at least remember a dream that's connected to this thing and consider when
00:18:18.560 you wake up in the morning, whatever you wake up with is an answer somehow to that thing.
00:18:24.020 If you, if you interpret your dream from that perspective, you'll have insights that will
00:18:28.040 blow your mind.
00:18:28.540 Do you have a problem with the entrepreneurs and the people who are like, go, go, go, hustle, hustle, hustle.
00:18:35.760 You only need four hours of sleep.
00:18:37.120 Wake up, grind, grind, grind.
00:18:38.540 Like, do you think that that's unhealthy?
00:18:41.780 I think it's, I think, I mean, every once in a while, if I have a deadline for something, I can be totally pushing myself.
00:18:47.960 But I would say as a regular thing, it's super hard on your body.
00:18:52.300 It's called toxic hustle.
00:18:53.620 Ooh.
00:18:54.120 Toxic hustle.
00:18:54.920 That's a hashtag.
00:18:55.660 I think there's quite a bit of that in the world, in the social landscape right now.
00:18:59.600 Because it's, like, cool.
00:19:00.700 It's cool to, like, not sleep.
00:19:02.180 And, like, everyone who's a new entrepreneur, you know, I was sleeping on the couch two hours a night.
00:19:07.600 I wake up and go to the gym at 4 a.m.
00:19:09.740 Yeah, they wear it like it's, like, a prideful thing.
00:19:11.960 Right, but we can't dream if we don't sleep.
00:19:14.220 In fact, they say we sleep in order to dream.
00:19:16.720 Ariana Huffington, she has a book called The Sleep Revolution.
00:19:19.880 I don't know if you guys heard about that.
00:19:20.920 But she was one of those people that believed, yeah, I'll sleep when I die.
00:19:24.280 I just need, I got stuff to do, but she was awake in the middle of the night working on something
00:19:29.300 and she fell asleep at her computer and she cracked her cheek on her desk and ended up in a pool of 0.98
00:19:36.960 blood. She got injured. Yeah. From not sleeping. From not sleeping. And then she was like, okay,
00:19:41.360 wake up call. Maybe I need to rethink this strategy. And so, yeah, so there's a lot of
00:19:46.260 research. A lot of people super passionate about get your eight hours of sleep. You're way more
00:19:50.440 effective. You tend to lose weight. If you get more sleep, you tend to be healthier. You're,
00:19:54.940 you're, you're better with your mind. You're more clear, more sharp. If you don't get sleep,
00:19:58.960 you start getting kind of droggy and kind of, I don't know. So it's not good for your body,
00:20:03.860 for your mind. You mentioned the subconscious mind when you're sleeping. I've read quite a
00:20:09.460 few books about the power of the subconscious mind during the day. So basically what we attract
00:20:16.180 during the day the quality of our day you know what we create during the day is actually created
00:20:21.140 while we're sleeping there's a lot of philosophies that believe that so right well um so according to
00:20:27.980 the american hypnosis association our logical that's a thing that's a thing oh it is the aha
00:20:34.360 aha exactly aren't they clever great band great band from the 1980s okay the ahas oh yeah take me
00:20:43.100 home. Yes. Remember that song? That was a good song. Now you're going to dream about it.
00:20:46.320 All falsetto. Exactly. That's right. So our conscious mind that we're using right now is
00:20:51.440 12% of our mind's power. That's our logic, our reasoning, our intentions. I'm going to do this.
00:20:57.720 I'm going to create that. All that is in our 12% conscious mind versus our subconscious mind.
00:21:02.960 Our dreaming mind is 88% of our mind's power. That's all of our feelings and emotions and
00:21:10.840 intuition and ability to connect the dots between things. So if we, if we act, most people don't
00:21:17.920 even value their subconscious mind. It's like, it doesn't even count because you can't see it.
00:21:21.960 It's like in your blind spot. So it's not there, but the people that I think are wise, Albert
00:21:27.140 Einstein, for example, he was a big proponent of accessing the subconscious mind to solve problems. 0.70
00:21:32.020 It's like, we're actually, it's possible to bridge the gap between the 12% and the 88% to have a
00:21:37.500 hundred percent of your mind's power online how i need that mushrooms there you go much that's it
00:21:45.320 that's my whole thing on i'm out drop my mic i'm gonna drop somebody else's mic
00:21:50.440 psychedelics dude what is it i don't want to do drugs well it happened it's kind of a freebie i
00:22:00.560 think when you when people do drugs and i've done some myself there is definitely like a oh my god
00:22:06.220 all everything's connecting yeah but that's it's like you're getting you're getting a crutch to
00:22:11.880 get there but the truth is you can get there on your own and then you don't have to have the
00:22:16.800 backlash that you would have if you do drugs or do something that's going to harm your brain
00:22:21.200 if you build so one simple practice is by paying attention to your dreams every night
00:22:25.280 that is connecting the bridge between your conscious and subconscious mind if you can
00:22:29.880 it's so simple okay but i and meditation is another way to meditation is great great
00:22:34.600 mindful practice breath work we do breath work yeah we love it we love breathing and working
00:22:39.320 quite enlightened around here i was gonna say like again what like i'm not dreaming so you
00:22:46.360 see you're saying pay attention to your dreams every night how can i force myself to dream so
00:22:51.020 the trick is is not to force yourself you can't force it but you can set a strong intention
00:22:55.900 before you go to sleep that's it not like no like melatonin or nyquil no no no no no because those
00:23:02.020 are, I mean, those will give you, they will tend to stimulate your dreams, but not, but not in a
00:23:06.920 way that's sustainable. It ends up having an adverse effect. It's like diminishing returns.
00:23:11.300 So set a strong intention before you go to sleep, like literally make a ritual of it. If you want
00:23:15.400 to light a candle, do a little meditation and say to yourself like three times, I am going to
00:23:21.520 remember some dream when I wake up in the morning. I'm paying, it's like, you're telling the dream
00:23:25.940 maker, I'm paying attention. If you give me something, I'm going to remember it. And I swear
00:23:30.420 You're going to, there's going to be something, even if it's in the middle of the night, if
00:23:33.400 you have to get up to pee, just set an intention, set a strong intention.
00:23:36.580 But here's the other piece is getting into the habit of writing something down.
00:23:41.400 When you wake up in the morning, even if it's not a remembered dream, you're thinking something
00:23:46.480 you're always thinking.
00:23:47.540 So the first thing you wake up with in the morning, it could be some song, take me, whatever,
00:23:52.520 whatever that is, whatever it is, write that down.
00:23:56.080 If you get in the habit of writing something down and you can put it in an app, nobody
00:23:59.480 really uses the dream journal anymore, although that's fine. But like there's an app that I use
00:24:04.580 called dream journal ultimate. It's a free app online. It's awesome. You can just press the
00:24:09.880 voice recorder and just say, okay, I didn't really remember a dream, but I woke up for some reason
00:24:13.700 thinking about my grandma and Christmas and that, like that pair of socks that she gave me that one
00:24:18.340 year, whatever. But so that's something that counts because you're, you're, you're still in
00:24:22.940 your subconscious mind mode because you're still sort of sleepy, record something. And then it's
00:24:28.400 like you're creating the space like the build it they will come if you if you create a habit of
00:24:33.020 writing something down first thing in the morning eventually one of those things that you write down
00:24:37.400 is going to be a really serious dream and you will have caught it you will built the muscles like
00:24:42.540 you have so well developed thank you like dream muscles they're great muscles seriously they are
00:24:47.800 can we just take a moment to observe you zooming in a moment of silence for the vascular there we
00:24:55.880 but seriously dream muscles
00:24:58.600 you build them
00:25:00.660 and then the dreams will come
00:25:03.000 I love that that's an action item
00:25:05.020 I have a powerpoint here
00:25:07.320 we do segments on the show sometimes
00:25:09.220 and we have one for you
00:25:11.100 let's do a segment
00:25:12.200 it's called what do you dream
00:25:14.780 aww
00:25:15.940 why don't we
00:25:17.840 that's an incredible
00:25:21.380 powerpoint
00:25:22.520 that's so cool guys
00:25:23.100 said that yeah our producer dylan makes these this is phenomenal grade a powerpoint yeah grade a
00:25:32.180 and uh maybe you could tell us what some of these things mean okay in dreams okay because we've all
00:25:37.060 we've all experienced all of these things number one flying yep you're flying in your dream oh my
00:25:43.660 god that looks so cool flying is one of the best dreams ever most of the time this is the best
00:25:50.400 dream ever. Some people feel out of control and they're like, oh, it was scary. But most of the
00:25:54.100 time people report this being euphoric because in a way, a flying dream, I think of it as a reward,
00:26:01.100 a reward for having done something right. Usually our dreams will give us some kind of a gift
00:26:05.800 if we're on track. It's kind of like, I don't know, a video game. I'm not a video gamer,
00:26:10.100 but it's like, you get some dopamine hit if you're doing something right. So that is the
00:26:15.840 ultimate well one of the ultimate dopamine hits that you can possibly get and it tells you that
00:26:20.820 you're rising above your circumstances it to me in a word it it symbolizes mastery you're like
00:26:27.480 coming into power over whatever circumstances used to challenge you it's like now you got this
00:26:33.560 i like that perspective because people who may not have the success in the physical realm
00:26:41.200 can almost have like this immense wealth in their dreams.
00:26:46.960 Totally.
00:26:47.660 Seems pretty valuable.
00:26:49.420 Like I want to fly, like that's pretty good reward.
00:26:51.240 It is, exactly.
00:26:52.460 And who's to say what success is or not?
00:26:54.500 I mean, for some people, it's success
00:26:55.880 just to wake up in the morning
00:26:57.080 and just to like do anything in the day
00:26:59.060 based on where they're at.
00:26:59.940 But one of the, you talked about action items.
00:27:02.880 One action item, if you have a dream like this,
00:27:04.960 is to meditate on it a few minutes a day
00:27:07.920 throughout the day, like throughout the next few weeks.
00:27:11.200 Because that dream, usually when people talk about it, you can see a sparkle in their eyes.
00:27:16.280 You see that they sit up, it's like they tap into a higher version of themselves.
00:27:22.240 And I believe that you're given these dreams to, it's like a carrot of like to follow into
00:27:28.200 some higher realm of yourself so that you can start to make that more normal.
00:27:32.580 So that that flying aspect of you becomes your, like your new set.
00:27:36.200 Life, your life, you're flying in real life.
00:27:38.220 That's awesome.
00:27:38.860 Okay.
00:27:39.040 What about this one?
00:27:39.600 we've all done it falling when you're falling what does it mean and also if you if i heard
00:27:47.360 if you're falling yeah and you hit the ground from a very high point yes you die i heard you
00:27:54.160 die in real life okay old wives tale on that one because the people that there's i mean i
00:27:59.560 well unless we they don't live to tell the tale but i've talked to so many people i just had one
00:28:04.700 the other day that i fell hit the ground and it was like oh and i i'm here i think okay i don't
00:28:10.220 know pinch me uh am i dreaming yeah she's she's three dimension she didn't seem hurt i don't know
00:28:15.740 i'm good so so there's two different ways to look at falling dreams and the the first way is kind of
00:28:22.020 the ordinary way and that kind of means that you're out of control something's going on in
00:28:26.480 your life that's overwhelming you you don't feel grounded you feel like the rug's been pulled out
00:28:31.220 from underneath you, you're not in control of your circumstances. So that's kind of the first
00:28:36.780 way to look at it. Like, wow, my dream is helping to vent out my feelings of overwhelm.
00:28:42.000 But a kind of a cooler, more metaphysical version of this, this might seem a little woo-woo,
00:28:47.020 but are you open to hear a little woo-woo? Yeah, I love woo-woo. Very, very. Let's go.
00:28:50.900 Okay. All right. So there's a tribe called the Senoy from the highlands of Malaysia,
00:28:56.660 and they were discovered by an anthropologist
00:28:59.960 called Kilton Stewart.
00:29:01.040 And he said that of all the tribes,
00:29:02.600 the dreaming tribes that he ever studied,
00:29:04.900 these people were the most enlightened
00:29:06.660 that he had ever come across.
00:29:08.380 And there's a few different markers
00:29:10.020 of what made them so enlightened.
00:29:11.740 And one of them was the way they related
00:29:13.500 to their falling dreams.
00:29:15.060 He said that they believed that falling dreams
00:29:17.260 indicate that there are falling spirits
00:29:19.700 that are calling you into your depth
00:29:22.140 so that you can become stronger.
00:29:24.560 You can become more related to your roots
00:29:26.580 so that you can become this like more grounded version of yourself.
00:29:30.020 And the goal in a flying dream, I mean, in a falling dream is to learn how to fall well,
00:29:35.820 like in the matrix, like, oh, so if you remember that you're, if you're dreaming that you're
00:29:41.680 falling, you're like, ah, if you can try to remember, okay, fall well, fall well, you
00:29:45.560 can slow it down and like land and know that it's not a bad dream.
00:29:49.320 Most people in the world right now think falling dream.
00:29:51.760 Oh, that's bad.
00:29:52.380 Something bad's going on with me.
00:29:53.960 No, no, no.
00:29:54.420 I think it's calling something deeper beyond the bling bling of Tinseltown is calling you to do something more meaningful with your life.
00:30:02.000 I've been having skydiving dreams.
00:30:04.220 Ooh.
00:30:04.760 So, like I'm falling, but I'm consciously falling.
00:30:08.360 Which one are you in this picture?
00:30:10.320 See the guy in the yellow suit?
00:30:11.720 Oh, yes.
00:30:12.560 Yeah.
00:30:12.960 I'm just coming in, grabbing some leg, and I'm out.
00:30:17.500 He just does that. 0.99
00:30:18.720 Grabs leg.
00:30:19.760 Gone.
00:30:20.300 Exactly.
00:30:21.400 That's like, that's kind of.
00:30:22.300 You're falling with a safety net.
00:30:23.920 yeah what does it mean well this is the thing though in the dream i pulled a shoot very low
00:30:28.700 oh wow so i'm like okay maybe taking some little low here yeah i learned every time see this is
00:30:37.620 what's so cool about dreams it's like everyone starts to pop and you start to think symbolically
00:30:42.080 and that and i think then the dream starts to really come to life how often though little
00:30:47.300 side note how often do dreams actually just mean nothing because i have this thing about me
00:30:51.680 where if if if someone is like hey i had this dream last night and the moment they start telling
00:30:58.040 me what it is i clock out because i don't care because it's just like yeah they're like hey i
00:31:03.620 saw a bear and it had your face yes so what do i do with this information i'm just every time i just 0.83
00:31:08.620 go well that's crazy yeah you're insane uh not not you're insane it's just like whoa like cool 0.68
00:31:15.240 i'm gonna go work out what do we do next right exactly well this is what we do when we're 0.92
00:31:20.620 presented with something that we don't have a context for and we don't know what to do with
00:31:24.480 somebody just started talking a foreign language that you'd never heard before you would do the
00:31:28.500 same thing like okay have a nice day bye-bye but the moment you start learning the language like
00:31:35.100 I lived in Japan for a while I lived in Spain for a while and I learned how to speak those
00:31:38.780 languages and I know at first it was like I can't communicate with these people but the moment I
00:31:43.180 started picking up a few phrases it's like oh my god this there's they're actually saying something
00:31:47.900 wait a minute it's all starting to make sense and then it becomes intriguing so if you that's why
00:31:51.980 there's a value in a dream dictionary i brought you guys one of my dream dictionaries let's go
00:31:55.800 it's got some crazy symbols in there um it's a 21st century ish i mean it was written like i don't
00:32:01.860 know 10 years ago so it doesn't have uber in there and stuff like that oh hey give me something that
00:32:07.000 you've dreamt about recently boys and let me tell you what the dream dictionary says about that
00:32:10.900 maybe like an object maybe a theme i've had a dream like probably or i haven't remembered one
00:32:17.060 in like 10 years i have one from when i was a kid oh let's talk about it yeah i uh i would always be
00:32:22.340 walking around neighborhoods that i had never been in before so there were neighborhoods that
00:32:26.260 like my my uh subconscious mind would create like inception almost and people that they were
00:32:33.160 were they abandoned uh no they were like it was very gray skies over like residential neighborhoods
00:32:39.540 but that didn't exist i'd never been to them before so were they was it a consistent neighborhood
00:32:43.740 that you would know it was a different it was different it was different ones all the time
00:32:46.900 and when i would walk i would encounter people that i had never met before and and the wind
00:32:53.860 would be blowing leaves but there was no sound from the leaves and the finally people i would
00:32:59.000 look over at someone and they would be like looking straight ahead and then they would go
00:33:01.820 like this and they would look at me and then they would they would say something they would go like
00:33:07.580 this and they would say stuff to me but there was no sound oh no and they would just be in my face
00:33:13.480 this close saying stuff to me and then i'd wake up oh no oh my so what was your feeling when you 0.56
00:33:18.000 woke up from these dreams did you like it was it scary that's pretty fucking scary it was honestly
00:33:23.120 yeah it was just a weird neighborhood with like gray skies and weird people with no voice talking 0.55
00:33:27.400 okay so i'm can i throw in like a few thoughts of what i think yeah sure sure all right so from
00:33:32.400 my perspective, everything and everybody that shows up in your dream is an aspect of you. So
00:33:39.600 every, like the dreamer is everything. Carl Jung, the late great father of psychotherapy said the
00:33:45.060 same thing. So I'm not making that up. So if it were my dream, I would say that a neighborhood,
00:33:50.380 a new neighborhood represents a new aspect of myself that I haven't yet explored. So to me,
00:33:55.660 that's a really cool, that's a really cool aspect. Cause in a way you could wake up from
00:34:00.260 that dream and feel like you've explored territory. It's kind of like having read a book that you
00:34:04.620 never actually read, but you know what's in there because some part of you so quickly figured that
00:34:09.640 out. Like your subconscious mind being so smart, you, you explored a place that you've never had
00:34:14.480 to physically go to. So that's amazing. So people that are talking and words are, they're not really
00:34:21.480 speaking words or they're not, it's not coming out audibly. So to me, if it were my dream,
00:34:26.440 I'd feel like, okay, this is an, I'm venting an issue that I'm having with communication.
00:34:31.700 Maybe I, maybe it's telling me I need to listen more. I need to figure out like often when somebody
00:34:38.380 has a different communication style from us, we'll just kind of block them out. Like they don't
00:34:42.280 count like whatever. They're not my person, but maybe this dream is, if it's my dream, it's telling
00:34:47.020 me I need to pay attention to people that speak differently than I do. And maybe I need to like
00:34:51.620 really listen and get more intuitive. So I understand what they mean and not get so caught
00:34:55.780 up in their words so i mean i don't know we could play with that yeah i was trying tried so hard to
00:35:00.680 listen but they just never said anything like i was trying and it upset me was there anybody
00:35:06.480 i mean in your life at that time that was speaking about things that you didn't understand that you
00:35:11.780 couldn't relate to i mean it was when i was a kid it could have been like it could have been
00:35:15.960 around the time like when my parents were getting divorced potentially i don't i don't know something
00:35:20.160 like that i just i'm not sure anything having to do with pete perhaps uh i don't think it had to
00:35:25.880 with pete but it could have pete was a friend of mine who uh who fell off the side of the flat
00:35:30.140 earth yeah what yeah there was one there's the last i was told this story i haven't told this
00:35:38.860 so long my dad was stationed in antarctica and he and uh we were we stumbled upon the side of
00:35:45.920 The last thing that Mike, which is very traumatic,
00:35:49.760 the last thing that Mike heard was.
00:35:54.320 And that was him falling into the cosmos.
00:35:57.000 It's a, bless you.
00:35:59.280 And it's never, it's never, it's never left my mind.
00:36:03.840 Wait, so he died?
00:36:05.580 Well, I mean, I can't be for sure,
00:36:07.360 but he's, if anything, he's floating in space right now.
00:36:09.780 Yeah.
00:36:10.320 Listen, I'll be honest with you, ma'am.
00:36:12.800 I, this story is.
00:36:14.360 I'm ma'am.
00:36:14.620 well it's a respectful term thank you i appreciate that thank you i'll take it the story i'll totally
00:36:20.040 take it it's a weird it's a weird place so he just kind of went off on a tangent and like left
00:36:23.840 you behind like you were buddies and then all of a sudden he went south yeah let's nerd this flat
00:36:28.380 all right uh and i just have one more this is a quick one uh and i think this one might even be 0.99
00:36:33.860 in your list another hard one for me is there's people i really want to just punch in the face 0.91
00:36:38.940 uh-huh and man i hate when you throw a punch in your dream and it just doesn't go anywhere 0.85
00:36:43.140 It is like you're throwing a punch in a puddle of honey or like molasses.
00:36:47.180 Or you're trying to run.
00:36:48.500 You're trying to run and you can't.
00:36:49.180 I'm running too.
00:36:49.460 You can't get anywhere.
00:36:50.260 But the punching, like I'm like, I finally got him.
00:36:52.240 And I'm just like, and it's usually to protect myself.
00:36:54.240 And I go like this and it's just like.
00:36:56.500 Oh, I love what you just said.
00:36:57.780 It's so important.
00:36:58.700 It's not just about the dream.
00:37:00.020 It's about what the dreamer says about it.
00:37:01.540 Because it's like what you just said is I tried to punch him, but it just didn't go anywhere.
00:37:05.440 It's like the act of violence isn't necessarily going to get you anywhere.
00:37:09.160 It's like the dream wisdom is saying.
00:37:11.140 Like there's something else for you.
00:37:14.460 And anyway, and then trying to run and try to get somewhere.
00:37:19.020 When we run, I mean, who are we running from?
00:37:22.280 Usually something scary that's back there that we think is going to hurt or kill us.
00:37:26.280 But if it's all an aspect of ourselves, it's some shadow part of us that is probably trying to deliver a gift, some kind of wisdom, but it's in strange wrapping.
00:37:36.340 And we're like, no, but it's like, this is a diamond.
00:37:39.080 This is going to change your life.
00:37:40.300 And you're like, no.
00:37:40.780 So, of course, your dream is going to slow it down.
00:37:42.920 Usually running, there's obstacles that slow it down.
00:37:45.600 That's one way of like that.
00:37:46.140 I used to dream that I was running away from like lions, panthers, gators.
00:37:52.840 And then I finally decided I can't run.
00:37:55.580 It doesn't work.
00:37:56.640 The gator is just, it's there.
00:37:58.740 So what'd you do?
00:37:59.400 Start like laying down? 1.00
00:38:00.180 I started whooping the gator's ass. 1.00
00:38:01.800 Oh, yeah. 1.00
00:38:02.920 Like whooping that ass. 1.00
00:38:04.440 Yeah, whooping that ass. 1.00
00:38:04.960 Like it would bite me and I'd be like, ah, ah, like going in. 1.00
00:38:09.320 Did you guys ever have that?
00:38:10.320 Or was that just me?
00:38:10.980 That particular one with the gators?
00:38:12.580 Or lions or like big cats.
00:38:14.640 It was like a thing with big cats.
00:38:15.660 Usually with me, it would be more like monsters.
00:38:17.660 Like I would fight skeletons and stuff like that.
00:38:19.480 Oh my God.
00:38:20.160 Interesting.
00:38:20.880 Okay.
00:38:21.440 So can I say one thing?
00:38:22.660 I know you've got, you're like itching here.
00:38:24.560 Yeah.
00:38:25.020 He just went cross-eyed. 0.99
00:38:25.920 I saw it. 0.99
00:38:26.240 Okay.
00:38:26.500 You go first and then I'll talk about your gators.
00:38:28.740 I think you can speak on the gators.
00:38:30.040 All right.
00:38:30.440 All right.
00:38:30.660 So any big animal, I mean, if everyone's that shows up in your dream is an aspect of you.
00:38:35.240 to me, a big animal is like a part of your animal instincts, a part of your power that has been
00:38:42.040 suppressed. Because normally, like in order to grow up and get loved and be a part of society,
00:38:46.540 you have to be a good boy. You have to be nice. You can't be super like rowdy. You can't hit.
00:38:51.780 So a lot of us have suppressed our animal instincts. And we, even though you guys are
00:38:56.520 like, you have this platform to have a place to express, which is super healthy, super great. 0.73
00:39:01.140 But most people, and maybe before you didn't have that space to, I would say a gator to me symbolizes anger.
00:39:09.220 And if you're a nice, calm person that gets along with everybody, then there's some part of your anger that's like, God, I just wanted to.
00:39:16.560 So it's a part of you that if integrated, it's not like the goal of the dream is to now become a gator and go eating everybody.
00:39:24.760 No, I don't like gators. 0.67
00:39:25.980 integrate it but to integrate it because every part of you even that i mean to me i think the
00:39:30.520 shadow characters that we run from are the most interesting of all dreams of an alligator
00:39:35.260 symbolize the symbolize the predatory energy in your life or the fear of being eaten alive
00:39:40.500 is that dream dictionary it's like you wrote that that's kind of amazing that's strange i got a
00:39:46.220 whole section for dreaming about costco that's what i was going to read actually we're very
00:39:49.780 alike mike dreams of costco reveal your attitudes and feelings about abundance and that you are
00:39:54.220 feeling the need to stockpile and store up for lean times perhaps some sort of zombie apocalypse
00:39:58.760 oh some sort of bunker scenario actually i think i left zombie out of there which is very sad
00:40:04.060 in the next edition of this i'll have to add zombie apocalypse you got good ones in here here's
00:40:08.320 right quesadilla quesadilla dreams of a quesadilla symbolize circular patterns with regards to the
00:40:13.700 way you nurture yourself food is all about nurturing yeah and i had to okay here we are 0.99
00:40:19.380 again i had to do this i had to see what penis meant what dreaming of a penis meant you had to 0.99
00:40:23.500 do it go there it's in there dreams of a penis represent masculine power dreams of an erect 0.99
00:40:28.060 penis represent virility but potency sexuality strength and a feeling of being competent in the 0.98
00:40:32.520 world and capable of producing and manifesting your creative ventures so a lot you're just not 0.99
00:40:37.880 going to read the link survey says oh oh my bad yeah if a penis is limp then this represents 0.98
00:40:44.400 feelings of powerless powerlessness and emasculation so but it sounds like it's good 1.00
00:40:49.540 to dream about dicks man we talk about dicks quite a bit on this show i know i've heard when 0.96
00:40:55.320 we get when we get doing really well yes we are you have to just say it really like 20 of them 0.99
00:41:00.460 right now i think we're being like respectful it's like a trap we call it dick sand it's like 0.94
00:41:04.520 quick sand but just dick talk yeah oh yeah here's a here's a problem right right before you said 0.98
00:41:08.660 that i was i was just going straight to dick land and i here's why man i mean i'm calling one way 0.98
00:41:14.420 ticket uh when i was also younger right around the time when my wiener started to feel 0.88
00:41:19.480 fuzzy i used to have a dream about and i mentioned this on the very first episode with a sex therapist
00:41:25.100 so old that we hadn't even taken a polaroid from it the only the one after it was such an old
00:41:29.900 episode wow and i she said to me what is your biggest like wish or sexual wish in life and
00:41:38.700 it comes from a dream of mine which was a dream that i had when i was younger that i was having 0.68
00:41:43.740 seated intercourse sexual intercourse uh well tied to a large bundle of balloons floating through the
00:41:49.780 sky and so it was a seat a seated chair where to me and a woman were able to sit uh attached at 0.99
00:41:56.240 the penile while floating underneath a couple hundred red balloons through the sky and this 0.94
00:42:02.180 was such an incredible moment it was incredible beautiful oh my god that ties in flying and sex 0.98
00:42:07.420 that's amazing and i don't think i've ever heard that dream and here's the most important part of
00:42:10.800 that dream i woke up from it and i was covered in you had a wet dream glaze glaze i was covered
00:42:16.740 in glaze okay and so this dream and so to this day i still want to have balloon sex and i told 0.98
00:42:23.740 you should go do that yeah sometimes you need to fulfill these dreams if someone from porn 0.99
00:42:28.920 up is watching this i am 100 down to have balloon sex if you'll pay for the contraption and provide 0.99
00:42:34.460 the woman oh that well yeah and the woman pay for the contract 1.00
00:42:39.140 sure someone will do it what do we got oh we forgot the game we were oh shit well not really 0.99
00:42:44.760 all right next one to the good stuff teeth falling out teeth falling out yeah i've never 0.58
00:42:49.040 had this happen but this it's on the slideshow that my producer made well i know dylan was
00:42:53.540 sharing with me earlier that he's had those dreams can we hear dylan also on prefaces by
00:42:59.000 who the that's me i'll take full blame for this one today i've also had flying dreams recently so
00:43:04.080 Let's balance it out.
00:43:04.660 Okay, let's balance it out.
00:43:05.700 Usually teeth falling out linked to anxiety.
00:43:07.440 You're feeling overwhelmed with stuff.
00:43:08.240 You have your teeth falling out?
00:43:09.380 Recent one, I felt it in my body.
00:43:12.040 Is it because you and Mike hooked up with the same girl?
00:43:14.920 Potentially, that could do it.
00:43:16.280 Your teeth would fall out.
00:43:17.760 But that's the most recent.
00:43:19.060 Okay, so you felt, like, you said you felt it in your body, but, like, in your...
00:43:22.720 It felt so real.
00:43:24.060 So were they crumbling?
00:43:25.540 Were you, like, chewing?
00:43:26.400 They were just falling out.
00:43:27.740 Okay.
00:43:28.080 And, like, out of my teeth in my hand.
00:43:29.500 Okay, so before I say something about teeth,
00:43:32.420 I have to say something about venting dreams in general.
00:43:35.260 I believe that any really scary, funky dream like that
00:43:39.020 would be put under the venting dream category.
00:43:41.440 And from my perspective, when we have these kinds of dreams,
00:43:45.680 it's our subconscious mind's attempt to help clean us out,
00:43:49.280 like to get rid of the stuff.
00:43:50.780 So it's not trying to haunt us, not trying to hurt us,
00:43:53.620 not trying to make things worse.
00:43:55.040 It's trying to show you what's on its way out.
00:43:58.120 So you can ask yourself what kind of,
00:44:00.140 So anything having to do with the mouth is about communication, self-expression.
00:44:04.860 So sometimes the nicest guys have teeth falling out dreams or have dreams about these animals that they're like running from because there's like this, oh, I should have said that.
00:44:15.960 Or I wished I had communicated that thing.
00:44:18.140 That could be part of it.
00:44:20.100 Or because teeth are symbolic.
00:44:22.240 Like if we were in the wild, if we were all cavemen, cavewomen, without teeth, we wouldn't survive very well.
00:44:27.900 because like you use your teeth to like, to bury your teeth or to eat. So you can't eat without
00:44:33.720 your teeth. And so you're not going to survive without them. So usually it means that you're
00:44:37.560 venting out survival issues. And that's a good thing because it means that those fears are on
00:44:43.040 its way out. And I always ask people, so if your dream did its job and it helped you get all that
00:44:48.740 fear out, now you've got some bandwidth to play with. What do you want to bring in as opposed to
00:44:54.180 just recycling the fears so now that that fear is gone what do you want to affirm in its place
00:44:59.760 so i would put that to you dylan great what do you want now that we got rid of the funky
00:45:04.940 what do you want let's see what do you want i want it all kelly what at all is that all is that it
00:45:10.940 that's it okay maybe a little more specificity would be good but that's good you can have it
00:45:16.460 I want it all, Kelly.
00:45:18.820 And ding, you got it.
00:45:20.740 Where's my ponytail?
00:45:22.080 Being chased.
00:45:22.940 I actually am often being chased in my dreams, I feel like.
00:45:27.020 I'm always just being chased.
00:45:29.120 Sometimes when I get caught, I can't scream.
00:45:32.020 Nothing comes out.
00:45:32.480 Oh, that was another one of mine.
00:45:34.120 When you go to scream and you scream and there's just no sound.
00:45:36.380 No sound.
00:45:36.940 Right, right, right.
00:45:37.780 Okay, so do you know what you're being chased by?
00:45:40.520 No.
00:45:40.640 Do you have a sense of it?
00:45:41.700 Slenderman.
00:45:43.240 Momo.
00:45:44.120 Okay.
00:45:44.980 One, either Slenderman or Momo.
00:45:46.460 You take your choice. 1.00
00:45:47.280 Probably some evil shit, man. 1.00
00:45:48.860 Yeah. 1.00
00:45:49.300 So you think, so if you could see like right now,
00:45:51.620 because in some way when we talk about dreams,
00:45:53.540 we're connecting with the dream.
00:45:55.200 And even if there were some blank spots,
00:45:57.240 you can fill in the gaps right now.
00:45:58.920 You have creative license to do that.
00:46:00.420 So what do you think is behind you that's chasing you?
00:46:02.300 That guy in that picture.
00:46:03.820 Okay.
00:46:04.680 Well, I think that's the guy that's running.
00:46:06.180 Yeah.
00:46:06.660 He's, no, he's chasing me.
00:46:08.380 He's chasing you.
00:46:08.760 He's running, he's chasing me.
00:46:10.460 Okay.
00:46:11.180 So I believe that there's a few different ways
00:46:14.600 of looking at chasing dreams,
00:46:15.620 but typically it means that you're running from,
00:46:18.240 it's like a, it's a survival strategy.
00:46:20.520 Again, if we were in the wild
00:46:21.940 and there was something bigger, scarier,
00:46:23.880 more powerful than you, it would be smart to run.
00:46:26.420 But why, yeah, yeah, you're right.
00:46:29.160 So that's-
00:46:29.500 Just in my dreams, like in real life,
00:46:31.240 I try not to run all the time.
00:46:32.640 I try to like stand. 1.00
00:46:33.440 So why am I such a pussy in my dreams? 0.99
00:46:35.380 Because you don't know what's back there 1.00
00:46:36.780 because you're afraid. 1.00
00:46:37.600 Who the fuck is this guy? 1.00
00:46:38.720 Because you assume it's going to kill you 1.00
00:46:40.680 or it's going to hurt you.
00:46:42.100 But the thing is, it's like a practice.
00:46:44.420 It's kind of like the falling dream.
00:46:45.800 If you can practice remembering to fall well,
00:46:49.600 remember if you find yourself running in a dream,
00:46:51.720 if you can remember, oh my God,
00:46:53.680 this is a part of myself that I don't like,
00:46:56.300 that I've suppressed, that I'm scared of.
00:46:58.140 I need to be curious about this.
00:47:00.780 And you don't have to do this in your dream, by the way,
00:47:03.240 because this takes like lucid dreaming
00:47:04.980 is a masterful skill.
00:47:06.980 It's not something everyone can just do.
00:47:09.180 So there's a cheat, there's a hack,
00:47:11.160 there's a way of getting around this.
00:47:12.500 in your waking state, just by talking about this dream, you can sort of meditate on what you would
00:47:18.380 do if you were going to be back in that dream and you were lucid. So right now, let's just do this
00:47:22.980 if you don't mind. If you were back in your dream, but you're aware right now and you could do
00:47:27.520 anything because it's your dream. You're the director of the dream. You can do whatever you
00:47:33.060 want in order to become the powerful one. What would you do in your dream right now if you were
00:47:38.940 in it and you could do anything you wanted i'd solve a rubik's cube sub 20 seconds okay okay but
00:47:45.900 while the guy's chasing you yes that's the art of it too okay wait wait so the guy's chasing you
00:47:50.900 and you would pause you would you pause him and his tracks you keep running oh i'd be impressive
00:47:55.620 that'd be impressive i would love to solve a rubik's cube sub 20 seconds and then how would
00:47:59.140 you feel if you solved probably pretty accomplished probably like i did it oh my god so like so you
00:48:05.240 look like you're kind of like wow yeah i've been i've been wanting to solve a rubik's cube so 20
00:48:10.100 seconds since i was seven so maybe that's what's chasing you the thing that's chasing you it's like
00:48:15.860 pushing you it's like making you become a stronger more creative version of yourself and sometimes
00:48:21.300 the thing that chases us is our own insecurity or our the thing that is like the the chip on
00:48:26.380 the shoulder yo this dude what if it's like a dude kind of looks like me dude what if i'm chasing
00:48:29.900 It looks like you.
00:48:31.180 Bam.
00:48:31.620 What if I'm chasing myself?
00:48:32.540 What if he's got the hoodie and he takes the hoodie off
00:48:36.860 and there's an unsolved Rubik's Cube?
00:48:38.620 And he's like, hi, Logan. 1.00
00:48:39.880 Oh, shit. 0.99
00:48:41.220 I was thinking. 1.00
00:48:41.820 He is you.
00:48:42.940 Totally.
00:48:43.440 I want to do it.
00:48:44.200 I want to do it.
00:48:45.600 Danny, give me a Rubik's Cube.
00:48:47.580 Do it now.
00:48:48.340 You got to activate your dream.
00:48:49.680 Here's one thing, another to-do thing.
00:48:51.640 When you have a dream that you remember
00:48:53.140 and you talk about it in your waking life,
00:48:55.140 do something to honor the dream.
00:48:57.300 Do some kind of action.
00:48:58.820 And I call it your dream activation that honors the fact that you had this dream.
00:49:03.120 So the fact that you've now connected the dots between the chasing and the Rubik's Cube, what are you going to do? 0.97
00:49:08.560 I'm going to solve a fucking Rubik's Cube. 0.98
00:49:10.540 Do it. 0.99
00:49:10.900 I'm going to solve a Rubik's Cube.
00:49:11.660 You can do it, Logan.
00:49:12.740 I did 47 seconds once.
00:49:14.840 Wow.
00:49:15.200 Oh, my God.
00:49:17.200 Just one more on the running guy because I just want to think about it for a second.
00:49:20.900 What if he's chasing you for a reason that's positive?
00:49:26.200 Because, like, here's what I'm asking.
00:49:27.440 Exactly.
00:49:27.640 Say, for example, you were at a dinner earlier.
00:49:30.120 This guy was sitting next to you because you're with a girl.
00:49:32.000 You're having a great date, right?
00:49:33.180 It was an older woman that you had just met recently.
00:49:36.040 You get up, you pay for dinner, okay?
00:49:38.080 The guy comes back with your card.
00:49:40.040 You sign the bill.
00:49:41.480 You put it down. 1.00
00:49:42.400 Then you and the woman leave.
00:49:44.140 This guy notices that you left your Amex card on the table. 0.92
00:49:47.440 Exactly.
00:49:47.840 And he's chasing you simply to give you your credit card back
00:49:50.520 because he doesn't want some sort of identity theft
00:49:52.420 or some sort of credit card crisis to happen.
00:49:54.180 And you're running.
00:49:54.960 And you're running, screaming.
00:49:57.420 And he's like, sir, you're Amex, you're Amex.
00:49:59.580 And he's just running after you.
00:50:00.680 And your whole life, you're running from this poor guy
00:50:02.580 who's just simply trying to keep your credit score high.
00:50:04.380 Mike, you are totally winning the prize right now.
00:50:06.360 This is like star on the forehead.
00:50:08.740 I never once thought of anything like that.
00:50:10.100 You have to, because it's all,
00:50:12.260 I mean, Einstein said either everything in this world
00:50:15.040 is on your side or it's not, it's on your side.
00:50:18.040 So even the scary creatures are here to make you stronger.
00:50:21.080 Hello, are you okay?
00:50:22.520 It's okay, buddy.
00:50:23.620 Just like, think about your credit limit, dude.
00:50:26.580 The first time I did this with one of my dreams I had because I'm always teaching people, oh, embrace your scary dreams.
00:50:33.340 And then I had one myself of this Cyclops lumberjack that was like going to that was going to kill me.
00:50:40.980 And I was running through the woods and I got into some cabin and I'm and I hid under this table and I'm like, oh, my God, he's going to kill me.
00:50:46.860 And then I'm like, no, he's trying to give me a gift.
00:50:48.880 I'm like, what's the gift you're trying to give me?
00:50:51.300 Oh, my God.
00:50:52.060 And he said, I'm not trying to hurt you.
00:50:53.880 I'm trying to protect you.
00:50:55.040 and he and i he had this like axe thing and he was trying to like cut off the energy of all
00:51:00.720 negative things that were coming i'm like you're my protector but why do you have one eye because
00:51:06.000 he's single-minded focused on helping me so it's like you're my ally and all this time i've been
00:51:11.920 running from you through all these dreams and it's like oh he's here to make me stronger so that i can
00:51:16.800 i can be me and not have to be afraid yeah what if he told you that and then i don't know i just 0.98
00:51:21.760 He just hacked your head off. 0.91
00:51:23.240 You know what I'm saying? 0.91
00:51:23.620 He's like, no, trust me, you're fine.
00:51:25.000 And so you're just like, all right, well, in that case, 1.00
00:51:26.840 and just cut your skull out. 0.99
00:51:31.780 I know, sorry. 1.00
00:51:32.800 No, but that didn't happen.
00:51:33.980 I mean, I don't know.
00:51:34.780 In most cases, I mean, there may be exceptions,
00:51:37.660 but I've dealt with some pretty dark dreams.
00:51:40.940 People usually don't seek somebody like me out
00:51:42.860 if they're having all flying, happy pony dreams. 0.74
00:51:46.200 Balloons on chairs, having sex dreams. 0.77
00:51:48.140 They don't call me for those. 0.88
00:51:49.260 They call me about these funky, scary dreams.
00:51:51.700 So I've seen the scariest ones.
00:51:54.280 And I've found in working with them and having somebody look at the thing that is chasing them,
00:52:00.160 I don't think there's been one instance where the thing, when uncovered,
00:52:03.880 isn't some kind of credit card Amex trying to be delivered.
00:52:07.700 Always some part of their power.
00:52:10.300 Wow.
00:52:11.240 I've been waiting all day for this slide because this relates to me. 0.97
00:52:16.980 Sex dreams.
00:52:18.420 Kelly, please help. 0.94
00:52:20.400 Okay.
00:52:21.400 What do you want to know? 0.94
00:52:22.660 I have more sex in my dreams than I do in real life. 0.87
00:52:25.340 Whoa, that's a lot. 0.94
00:52:26.860 That's a ton.
00:52:27.920 That's a ton.
00:52:29.020 That's a metric ton. 0.99
00:52:31.200 Metric shit ton. 0.97
00:52:32.000 No, it's not. 0.99
00:52:33.760 You guys, I'm not having that much sex in real life.
00:52:36.320 Yeah, right.
00:52:37.720 Okay.
00:52:38.160 I'm not. 0.95
00:52:39.000 What's a lot of sex to you, Spence? 0.99
00:52:40.540 You have a girlfriend, so what's a lot of sex to you? 0.99
00:52:42.940 Because I bet you have more than me. 0.98
00:52:46.120 I don't know.
00:52:47.020 I may have more partners than you.
00:52:48.740 Maybe that's where your concern or your hesitancy is coming from.
00:52:53.260 Facts.
00:52:53.920 Okay.
00:52:54.340 But like as far as like the actual number of sex, it's not like that high.
00:52:58.620 But in my dreams, I'm telling you, I'm laying the pipe.
00:53:02.440 Frequently.
00:53:03.100 You're just laying the wood.
00:53:03.920 What does it mean?
00:53:04.980 Okay.
00:53:05.460 What does it mean?
00:53:05.920 So everything in dreams is a metaphor.
00:53:08.940 Okay, but wait, let's step back from the metaphor.
00:53:10.560 So sometimes sex dreams are just an opportunity to fulfill a fantasy.
00:53:17.020 Like, I mean, that was a perfect example that the balloons and all of that, but just to get to blow off steam because we're sexual creatures.
00:53:24.560 And if we were to act out our sexual energy and our waking life all the time, then we'd get arrested.
00:53:30.680 We'd be in jail somewhere.
00:53:32.820 We'd be humping posts and people that are totally inappropriate. 0.99
00:53:36.800 We're some sick SOBs. 0.99
00:53:40.000 Sick SOBs. 0.99
00:53:40.880 Yeah. So in order to not get arrested and to be sort of in like part of polite society, we suppress, subliminate. 0.98
00:53:48.900 We like we hide a lot of stuff. So in our dreams, bam, the freaks come out at night.
00:53:53.180 It's totally healthy to have sexual dreams on a regular basis. 0.70
00:53:57.000 Men have more of them than women.
00:53:58.700 Women do tend to have more romantic sexual dreams that are a little bit more about courting and all that. 0.59
00:54:04.260 Men tend to have more like, bam, let's get it on.
00:54:06.140 part of it is to just is to keep yourself healthy but on a metaphorical side sex is about joining
00:54:13.540 it's about union it's about connecting and intimacy in into me i see it's like usually
00:54:20.840 whoever you're having sex with not always with like a playboy centerfold sometimes you have sex 0.78
00:54:25.940 and dreams with the most bizarre people that you would never have sex with in waking life i don't 0.96
00:54:31.100 know if you guys can relate to any of that i can okay hello yeah you're like the next door neighbor
00:54:36.060 No.
00:54:36.580 Susie?
00:54:37.160 What? 1.00
00:54:37.900 You son of a bitch. 1.00
00:54:39.600 I knew it. 1.00
00:54:40.520 Name her Susie.
00:54:41.680 I knew it.
00:54:42.560 I knew it. 1.00
00:54:43.720 Get over here, Susie. 1.00
00:54:45.120 That's why she's been swarming around the house recently. 1.00
00:54:47.820 She's felt your energy.
00:54:48.800 She's looking with binoculars right now.
00:54:51.140 Totally. 0.99
00:54:51.860 My sexual tentacles. 1.00
00:54:53.840 Your tentacles, not testicles. 1.00
00:54:55.880 Name her Susie, you dirty dog. 1.00
00:54:57.280 Did I just say testicles? 1.00
00:54:58.460 I can't believe it. 0.99
00:54:58.980 I'm sorry.
00:54:59.740 Cancel, cancel.
00:55:00.540 Delete, delete.
00:55:01.340 Okay, but here's the thing. 0.70
00:55:02.480 Ask yourself, whoever it is that you're having sex with or having sexual energy with in your dreams,
00:55:07.660 if you can describe that person in three words, then know that that's in some way,
00:55:14.140 this might not sound very romantic, but you're connecting with that part of yourself in a profound way.
00:55:19.380 So if you think about the last person you had a sexual dream with, you don't have to say who it was,
00:55:24.020 but think about the three metaphors or three adjectives that you would use to describe that person.
00:55:29.700 So who wants to volunteer?
00:55:31.580 It would have to be him.
00:55:32.900 I, like I said, haven't remembered a dream since 67.
00:55:35.220 Okay, here we go, Logan.
00:55:36.280 Back in NAMM.
00:55:36.880 Hit me.
00:55:37.620 What do you want?
00:55:38.600 Three adjectives to describe the last person
00:55:40.840 you remember having a sexual dream.
00:55:42.260 I can't remember a dream since 67.
00:55:43.680 Were they anonymous?
00:55:45.680 Okay.
00:55:46.620 No, but that's okay.
00:55:47.620 Because these are, I mean, these are personal.
00:55:49.140 Okay, here's a guy.
00:55:50.220 What's wrong with us?
00:55:51.180 No.
00:55:51.980 None of us remember any of our dreams.
00:55:53.920 You guys are doing, because you guys are living,
00:55:55.660 you've talked about a million dreams today.
00:55:57.860 You guys are doing better than most people.
00:55:59.200 Those were all from when I was a kid.
00:56:00.660 I don't have anything now.
00:56:01.880 Starting tonight, you're going to start remembering your dreams because we're talking about this.
00:56:05.660 But I met a guy not that long ago who said, oh, wait, you're Dr. Dream.
00:56:09.740 He kind of confessed a dream to me.
00:56:12.140 He's like, I'm having sex with some really weird people in my dream.
00:56:15.740 And there was like some old lady. 0.99
00:56:18.040 He's like, I'm not attracted to old ladies. 1.00
00:56:19.640 I don't know why. 1.00
00:56:20.520 I'm feeling so guilty and bad about myself.
00:56:22.920 Like, okay, describe her in three words.
00:56:24.920 He said she was really nice.
00:56:26.720 She thought I was great.
00:56:30.480 She was kind of like a grandmother.
00:56:31.960 Like she thought I was.
00:56:33.500 Dusty?
00:56:33.880 Like a dusty little runt?
00:56:35.560 I don't know what that means.
00:56:37.140 But I asked him what was going on in his life.
00:56:40.160 And he said that he was going through a really hard time.
00:56:42.480 And so in some way, he's connecting with this nurturing part of himself.
00:56:46.300 That's kind of like his champion.
00:56:47.760 Like, you can do it, honey.
00:56:48.940 You're going to be great.
00:56:50.020 It's going to be fine.
00:56:50.560 He's just digging out his grandma.
00:56:53.600 He's like, no, but who we are.
00:56:55.700 Okay.
00:56:55.980 We're not going anywhere with this.
00:56:57.240 No, we are. 1.00
00:56:57.980 We're going to sex with grandmas. 0.99
00:57:00.220 There's a whole channel I'm pulling up. 1.00
00:57:02.480 There you go, and we're back.
00:57:04.340 I think that's going to get deleted.
00:57:06.260 No, it's not.
00:57:07.260 But it really is.
00:57:09.180 If anybody's feeling any guilt or shame about who they're having sex with in their dream, all bets are off.
00:57:14.360 Hall pass.
00:57:15.220 And dreams are the ultimate hall pass.
00:57:17.320 Even if you're in a committed relationship and you have sex with someone else or your partner does, it's all fair and game.
00:57:24.480 It's in your dreams because it's not personal.
00:57:26.920 You say hall pass, but there's been situations where I've woken up and my girlfriend's just a little angry with me for a dream.
00:57:36.240 Because you've woken up.
00:57:36.720 Did you tell her that you- 1.00
00:57:37.720 Shut up. 0.99
00:57:38.840 Not seriously angry. 1.00
00:57:40.600 Like she laughs.
00:57:40.880 You're going to be reamed for even saying this.
00:57:43.020 I've joked with her about it.
00:57:44.460 She's angry because of what you did in the dream?
00:57:46.500 Yeah.
00:57:47.020 In her own dream.
00:57:48.080 In her own dream.
00:57:48.620 In her own dream.
00:57:49.360 This happens all the time.
00:57:50.720 Yeah. 1.00
00:57:51.440 You piece of shit. 1.00
00:57:53.140 I can't believe you. 1.00
00:57:53.820 You guys have never had this where you're like sleeping with a girl and then she looks up. 1.00
00:57:56.900 she's like yeah what were you doing in that dream of yours wait oh what the fuck oh i just slept 0.98
00:58:02.320 no no in her dream she was dreaming that he was cheating on her yeah in her dream and so she's 0.99
00:58:06.660 pissed as if it really happened she's like oh you're busted he's like hey i've just been sleeping
00:58:11.220 here i've done nothing here's i was like i was just dancing in the cosmos that's not fair so
00:58:17.420 there's two two ways of looking at it all right from one perspective if if a person dreams that
00:58:22.640 their beloved is cheating on them because everyone in the dream is the dreamer. I always ask this,
00:58:29.020 this person, where are you cheating on yourself? Where are you cheating yourself out of an
00:58:33.700 opportunity? It's not about that other person. 99% of the time. However, every once in a while,
00:58:39.380 and I had these, I had a series of dreams way back when that a boyfriend that I was with was
00:58:44.520 cheating on me. And at first I was like, oh, that was random. And then they kept happening. I'm like,
00:58:48.540 that was random again that was same same girl i'm getting more details oh my god did you and he
00:58:54.480 looked so guilty and it was like busted was it right yes what the oh yes you're saying that
00:59:01.640 spencer really is no no no no no no most of the time dreams are a metaphor they're symbolic but
00:59:07.360 every once in a while we can psychically tap into things and i described the girl to a t
00:59:12.660 he finally broke down and admitted it and then we broke up but but yeah so every once in a while
00:59:18.420 you can be tapping into something, but you have to first look at yourself. Everybody in your dream
00:59:23.360 is you. So your girlfriend, I would say she has to look at her own insecurities and the places 1.00

01:00:20.640 i don't but i get it how sick would that be he's very fast but i also feel like he's probably not
01:00:24.800 like a champion boxer or a really good like maybe he talks fast because he's not a champion boxer
01:00:30.300 that's what i'm like maybe i'm constantly getting hit in the head you just do so many things you
01:00:34.320 know what i'm saying like he's focused his only thing if you watch what he does on twitter all
01:00:37.840 day is studying like political political political political so like yeah if you like if i asked you

01:00:54.460 okay do sprockets fire no no sure they do synapses spark plugs synapses rockets turn
01:01:01.560 Okay, but for sure, getting hit in the head, like that's a physiological thing that you have some control of.
01:01:06.880 Can you like box without people hitting your head?
01:01:08.800 No, I'm working on it.
01:01:09.420 Oh, shadow boxing?
01:01:10.800 It's classic.
01:01:11.480 I mean.
01:01:11.820 You just got to knock it. 0.99
01:01:12.620 Hit, yo. 0.98
01:01:13.560 Sit. 0.87
01:01:14.160 Sit.
01:01:14.940 Sit.
01:01:15.560 Okay.
01:01:15.920 Sit.
01:01:16.360 Roll.
01:01:17.100 Pull.
01:01:17.840 Sit.
01:01:18.380 Nice.
01:01:19.200 Pull.
01:01:19.960 Sit.
01:01:20.460 Sit.
01:01:20.860 Roll.
01:01:21.240 Okay.
01:01:21.600 Sit.
01:01:22.080 Roll.
01:01:22.760 Pull.
01:01:23.220 This could go on for a while.
01:01:24.560 Lock, lock, lock, lock, jab.
01:01:26.160 Sit.
01:01:26.600 Sit.
01:01:26.920 Pull.
01:01:27.080 All right, now look at this clock.
01:01:30.580 Okay.
01:01:30.980 Okay, all right, we got a Mac.
01:01:32.540 So what I'm hearing is that you want to maximize your potential.
01:01:36.300 You want to be like-
01:01:37.200 God dang right, Kelly.
01:01:38.460 I want it all, Kelly.
01:01:40.600 You can have it all, you guys.
01:01:42.560 That's why I'm here.
01:01:43.960 All right, all right.
01:01:44.880 So I want you to just take a look, find a spot on the ceiling or on the wall,
01:01:49.600 just some point that you're going to focus on, some point of fascination and just-
01:01:54.660 Can it be Steve-O's face that I drew?
01:01:56.100 Yes, it can, but identify a spot there.
01:01:59.600 You got it?
01:02:00.060 Yep.
01:02:00.380 Got your spot?
01:02:00.980 Okay. So if you can put your hands straight out like this. Okay. And you guys can do it too,
01:02:05.700 if you want. Come on guys. Everybody, everybody, everybody, you too.
01:02:10.640 Let's find a spot on the wall. Look at it. Put your hands out. There you go. Okay. So find a
01:02:14.520 spot that you can focus in on and just keep staring at that spot. And I'm going to count
01:02:19.680 to 10 from 10 backwards to zero. And with each count, you might notice yourself becoming a little
01:02:26.960 bit more sleepy, a little bit more relaxed. And you might notice your eyelids beginning to get
01:02:32.780 heavier and on or before zero, your eyelids will close and you'll go into a very deep state of
01:02:40.480 receptivity to the most positive suggestions I can give you. So starting with 10, taking some big,
01:02:49.600 deep breaths and imagine with every exhale. I am so sorry. Can we start over? Yes, yes.
01:02:56.660 That's okay.
01:02:57.500 That's okay.
01:02:57.940 I don't know what to tell you.
01:02:58.520 That was on purpose.
01:02:59.500 It wasn't.
01:02:59.980 That was totally on purpose.
01:03:01.300 I don't even know who Biscuit is.
01:03:03.340 Who is Biscuit?
01:03:04.060 No, I do know who he is.
01:03:04.760 He's from Atlanta.
01:03:05.620 Hi, Biscuit from Atlanta.
01:03:07.060 Your timing is wonderful.
01:03:08.020 It's okay.
01:03:08.640 Integrate it.
01:03:09.220 We're giving your-
01:03:10.080 Can we start to ask,
01:03:10.800 have you ever heard of the silence feature?
01:03:12.940 Also,
01:03:13.600 also on top of that, 0.99
01:03:15.400 are you fucking kidding me right now, dude? 0.98
01:03:17.120 I was literally zoned into my posse. 0.99
01:03:19.100 You can get back in.
01:03:19.460 I'm going to find a better spot.
01:03:20.420 You can get back in.
01:03:21.280 I'm in.
01:03:21.720 Let's get back in.
01:03:22.200 No, I'm in.
01:03:22.520 find another spot okay and tell me when you got your spot everybody got their spot okay hands are
01:03:29.280 up receptive taking some deep breaths every exhale you're becoming more and more relaxed
01:03:39.060 you're letting go of any stress or worry and your eyelids start to become heavier and heavier and
01:03:45.760 again on or before zero your eyelids will close and the moment they do you'll go into a deep
01:03:50.840 receptive, relaxed state, open to only the most positive suggestions that you hear.
01:03:58.640 So 10, eyelids just start to become a little bit heavy, eyes a little itchy. Notice your body
01:04:06.240 beginning to feel so good, like you're relaxing in one of those big giant chairs you've got here
01:04:11.680 in your studio. Just feel the weight of gravity beginning to relax you. Nine, deep breathing,
01:04:20.140 beginning to let go. And it feels so good to just let go. There's nothing you need to do right now
01:04:24.760 except for let go. The more you let go, the better. Eight, eyelids start to begin to get
01:04:31.440 a little bit heavier, like little teeny weights are on your lids. Every time you blink, your eyes
01:04:37.920 get a little bit heavier. Eight, seven, a little bit more. Letting go with every exhale, releasing
01:04:47.660 and letting go of anything that is negative, any old conditioning that is not serving you,
01:04:53.380 you're letting go with every exhale so that with every new breath, six, you're breathing in
01:05:01.980 positive energy coming in through the crown of your head. Imagine there's a funnel at the top
01:05:07.380 of your head that's breathing into your crown chakra, golden light, brilliant light, the most
01:05:15.540 enlightened energy, getting more and more drowsy, those little weights on your eyelids becoming a
01:05:23.040 little bit heavier. Every time you bat your eyelashes, the eyes become a little bit heavier,
01:05:28.600 starting to drop in five, heavier and heavier, feeling so good to just relax, to just let go.
01:05:37.760 Nothing you need to hold on to right now. Every exhale, you're letting go a little bit more,
01:05:42.940 moving down to four, three, allowing all negativity to be released now. Any derivative
01:05:54.260 of fear, any old thoughts that don't serve you, anything anybody's ever told you about yourself
01:06:00.560 that wasn't positive is being released now once and for all so that only positivity can come in
01:06:08.080 through the crown of your head, that golden, intelligent, wise, sharp energy coming in that
01:06:16.400 has you be so smart on the ball. Three, two, and just feel a grogginess moving gently through your
01:06:23.680 body, through your chest, noticing your breathing becoming rhythmic. Notice the swallowing,
01:06:31.640 everything relaxing very good doing so good to allowing yourself to feel heavier and heavier
01:06:40.200 yet being able to hold yourself up in your chair but like a rag doll your muscles just let go down
01:06:46.320 to one and at zero your eyes will close and just go deep asleep going deep asleep letting go and 0.81
01:06:56.640 when I say the words deep asleep, it just simply means a receptive state where you are open,
01:07:02.760 completely open, more than you would normally be to the most positive suggestion that I could
01:07:10.000 possibly give you or that you could give yourself. So right now, imagining that there is that funnel
01:07:14.920 on top of your head that is picking and choosing the best thoughts, the greatest creativity.
01:07:22.260 so I want you to imagine yourself right now in the near future and this is a future where you
01:07:30.320 have been doing everything in your power to maximize your potential your gifts your talents
01:07:36.680 your body your mind your heart your spirit so you might be six months maybe a year in your future
01:07:43.720 and you can't believe it you can see yourself and your eyes are bright they're shining and for
01:07:51.500 whatever reason, you have the biggest smile on your face because something really incredible
01:07:57.180 is happening to you. Your mind is sharp and you're so proud of yourself for having this
01:08:05.360 incredible talent, this ability to think three steps ahead. No matter how much physical exertion
01:08:13.840 and boxing and all that stuff that you've been doing, you are sharp in your mind. So just play
01:08:20.040 a movie in your mind of what it's like to be you at your maximum potential, mentally, spiritually,
01:08:27.640 physically. So just envision kind of a day in your life of you being all circuits firing in the best
01:08:34.500 way. Taking a couple more breaths, big, deep breaths, breathing this in, the most positive,
01:08:49.640 fulfilled, talented version of yourself.
01:08:56.960 And I want you to land on one moment that represents the pinnacle expression of you
01:09:03.220 being the way that you most desire to be with your thoughts so sharp
01:09:11.200 and you're so calm in your body. You so trust yourself.
01:09:17.480 You love who you've become. You are the best version of yourself, even better than you ever
01:09:26.040 dreamed you could be. You're there now, right now. Take a big, deep breath.
01:09:30.960 lock this vision of yourself in really see it in technicolor bright colors fill in the gaps with
01:09:39.760 bright bright colors make this image larger than life you might associate sound
01:09:48.080 colors maybe a smell a taste
01:09:56.280 but most especially a feeling of what it's like to be you as your best, most amazing,
01:10:08.660 magnificent self. You might even notice that you're glowing and you're not even trying.
01:10:14.700 You're totally being yourself. This is who you've always been, by the way.
01:10:18.880 This isn't a new version of you. This is who you've been beneath the surface. This isn't
01:10:23.360 strange or scary. It's natural. So there's a very relaxed energy, even though there's this
01:10:30.780 vitality and aliveness, you feel comfortable and calm. So see that image in your mind,
01:10:38.740 emblazon it in your mind right now, like a tattoo, taking a big deep breath, sear it into
01:10:46.500 your mind, this image of yourself in your best, most magnificent, intelligent expression.
01:10:53.360 your best self. Lock it in now. And I want you to allow a word to come to mind that describes
01:11:04.180 this image of yourself. It might be a phrase. It might be a word. Hear it or see it written
01:11:12.000 on a piece of paper. But nod your head gently once you have that word or that phrase
01:11:18.300 that expresses who you are as your most magnificent self.
01:11:24.360 Okay, excellent.
01:11:25.180 You got it?
01:11:26.520 Okay.
01:11:27.360 I want you to say that word to yourself silently three times right now.
01:11:32.540 I'm going to ask you to put your left forefinger and thumb together.
01:11:37.000 It's the finger right next to your thumb.
01:11:39.000 I want you to touch them to each other and give it a little squeeze,
01:11:41.720 a little press right now as you say that word again.
01:11:45.300 pulse your finger and your thumb as you say that word to yourself and take a big deep breath
01:11:52.680 each and every time you say that word and you press your thumb and forefinger together
01:11:59.380 and you see yourself in this magnificent expression it becomes more and more ingrained
01:12:05.140 more and more of a reality taking over any other belief any other thought you had about yourself
01:12:12.160 that's less than that. This now is the override. It's taking over. It's now pre-paving your future.
01:12:19.840 It's creating the most incredible future. You can't even, like you need glasses, sunglasses
01:12:25.220 to see this future. It's so amazing. So just get a sense that the future that you are creating as
01:12:31.300 a result of this snapshot will blow your mind and be positive for everyone that knows you,
01:12:39.120 touches you, has anything to do with you. It leaves no one out. So one more big, deep breath.
01:12:46.940 Say that word silently to yourself. And one more time, touch your finger,
01:12:50.580 the forefinger and your thumb together. Give it a squeeze. Lock it in.
01:12:57.440 And now I'm going to count you from zero to 10. Zero will represent deep asleep going a little
01:13:04.720 bit deeper than before, maybe even way deeper than before. So you can lock this in even further
01:13:11.300 deeper in your subconscious mind. And by the time I get to 10, you'll be wide awake, eyes open,
01:13:17.240 alert, feeling great, but not yet. Starting with zero, get ready. You're going deep asleep all the
01:13:23.720 way down, dropping into that wonderful relaxation as if you're getting a full eight hour sleep right
01:13:31.060 now. When you wake up later, you're going to feel so well-rested. Give that forefinger and that
01:13:37.040 thumb one more squeeze. Say that word one more time. See that image of yourself so magnificent,
01:13:44.120 so sharp, so wise, the best version of yourself.
01:13:49.980 And the positive ripple effect that that has on the rest of the world is an added bonus.
01:13:55.400 moving up to one as if a staircase you're stepping up moving up to one feeling physically relaxed
01:14:02.540 another big deep breath moving up to two feeling emotionally calm moving up to three
01:14:10.560 feeling free any old stories you used to tell yourself about yourself that weren't positive
01:14:18.460 that weren't helping they're so long gone in your rearview mirror moving up to four
01:14:23.060 knowing that your dreams tonight are going to be vivid.
01:14:27.760 They're going to help you to make this vision of yourself
01:14:31.740 that you've connected with today.
01:14:33.060 It's going to help make it even stronger.
01:14:35.880 And if you have any dreams that you wake up with
01:14:38.460 that you're not happy with,
01:14:39.600 know that they're venting dreams,
01:14:40.920 getting rid of anything that you don't want anymore,
01:14:45.380 clearing the path.
01:14:49.680 And if the dreams are super positive,
01:14:51.340 than know that these dreams are helping to propel you into your best, most amazing future.
01:14:58.420 Moving up to four and five, moving up to six, feeling so good, starting to wiggle your toes,
01:15:06.140 wiggle your fingers. One last time, press your forefinger and thumb together. Say that word to
01:15:13.760 yourself. Seven, beginning to feel the temperature in this room, starting to integrate and come back
01:15:24.300 into this time and this space and this show and this studio with these people. Eight, nine, one
01:15:31.760 more big, deep breaths, feeling so good. And 10, eyes open, wide awake, completely alert and aware,
01:15:45.100 feeling so good. And you can take your time opening your eyes, be gentle with yourselves.
01:15:51.580 Very good. Very, very good. Good job. When you're ready, Mike, eyes open wide awake.
01:15:59.520 Very good
01:16:00.580 How are you guys doing?
01:16:03.220 Got a little emotional there
01:16:05.160 What are you guys connecting with?
01:16:07.640 Was Logan crying?
01:16:09.040 I think you really saw something beautiful
01:16:11.340 Huh?
01:16:16.420 You sad or you just like inebriated?
01:16:18.800 Did you get drunk in your hypotens?
01:16:21.340 Oh yeah I'm drunk
01:16:22.120 You really look
01:16:25.080 I took some swigs
01:16:26.200 What's there?
01:16:28.860 Would you guys, or anything that you want to share?
01:16:30.860 Because it's private.
01:16:31.700 It's obviously your own.
01:16:32.380 I found a lake house.
01:16:33.160 You did?
01:16:33.760 Yeah, with a nice chair next to it, a patio.
01:16:36.300 And there was a sunset.
01:16:38.820 And I'll be honest with you, I had a child and a beautiful wife.
01:16:44.780 Wow.
01:16:45.880 I was 39 years old.
01:16:48.240 Very cool.
01:16:49.620 And the word was calm.
01:16:51.480 There was an L in it and everything.
01:16:53.360 Wow.
01:16:53.860 I just don't believe it.
01:16:54.880 I just don't believe it.
01:16:57.200 It's pretty epic.
01:16:57.800 The word was calm
01:16:59.760 Kind of like calm
01:17:01.500 Nice oh yeah survey says
01:17:03.880 Very good
01:17:04.880 Beautiful lake house by the way
01:17:07.400 Any realtors out there
01:17:08.400 I was in a
01:17:11.720 Office
01:17:12.820 Like a beautiful office
01:17:15.880 For my company
01:17:17.380 And
01:17:18.740 The word that came to mind was vibe
01:17:21.420 I just stuck out with man
01:17:23.740 That's great
01:17:24.620 Alright every time you hear that word
01:17:27.300 That vision gets stronger and stronger and stronger.
01:17:30.540 It takes on a momentum of its own.
01:17:32.140 Yeah.
01:17:32.720 Very cool.
01:17:34.840 What do we got, Jimmy?
01:17:37.120 I'm kind of embarrassed.
01:17:40.100 I pictured I was a Super Saiyan with purple hair.
01:17:45.880 A Super Saiyan?
01:17:47.120 Super Saiyan.
01:17:47.980 It's a Dragon Ball Z character.
01:17:49.520 Oh, okay.
01:17:50.500 But not just any Super Saiyan, bro.
01:17:52.540 Oh.
01:17:53.000 I hate that.
01:17:53.560 This is what I thought, but it was the Super Saiyan God, bro.
01:17:57.300 awesome
01:17:57.960 like in the gym
01:18:00.860 yeah
01:18:02.260 like I just felt so
01:18:04.140 just powerful
01:18:06.080 what's up
01:18:07.920 take down your trouser 1.00
01:18:11.420 snap your dick in your head 1.00
01:18:13.460 what was your word 1.00
01:18:16.420 I felt like a super
01:18:17.360 the word was god
01:18:18.880 that's great
01:18:20.440 no that's
01:18:21.380 don't be scared
01:18:23.060 here's why
01:18:24.140 this is cool
01:18:25.060 I think I'm definitely
01:18:27.060 aware that there's like a little bit of like a God complex in me, aware enough to not let it
01:18:31.460 like affect the way I make decisions. But like that, that conqueror in me definitely does feel
01:18:37.680 really, really powerful and confident. And I, I, I like the responsibility of being that leader.
01:18:47.000 Yeah, totally. That makes sense. Well, I think in some way we all came here to this planet at this
01:18:54.180 time to become our, to fulfill our destiny, to fulfill our capacity, to not just like play small.
01:19:01.320 And this image that you have is you full out. And sometimes full out might look calm because
01:19:07.500 you've got it. It's like you can be chill. Right. You could be chill. Like, I mean,
01:19:12.700 full on being alive will manifest differently for everyone, but this is, this is super valid. And
01:19:19.920 And it's really amazing because it's kind of larger than life.
01:19:24.060 Larger than life.
01:19:24.980 I just felt like I could just do so many good, just amazing things for humankind in this form.
01:19:32.740 As the Dragon Ball Z guy.
01:19:34.260 As the Dragon Ball Z guy. 1.00

01:19:46.880 But he's a good one?
01:19:47.620 Well, this one's a good god.
01:19:49.420 Wow.

01:20:58.080 Go ahead.
01:20:58.860 Why don't you do it, Dylan?
01:20:59.920 Oh, man.
01:21:00.340 Don't get me started.
01:21:01.680 I'm just trying to channel the producer's wishes.
01:21:04.400 Me and him are a team.
01:21:07.780 Why don't you tell him, Kelly?
01:21:09.220 All right, here we go.
01:21:09.780 Oh, here we go.
01:21:10.580 Okay.
01:21:10.960 This is awesome.
01:21:12.340 All right.
01:21:12.860 We got amazing books here by Kelly Sullivan Walden.
01:21:16.040 Be sure to check them out.
01:21:16.800 Kelly, what books do we got here for you
01:21:18.100 that everybody could check out?
01:21:19.440 I've given you guys a few things.
01:21:20.720 The latest and greatest is the Hero's Journey Dream Oracle.
01:21:24.580 So this is, you guys have all been heroes.
01:21:26.260 You're tapping into your hero essence.
01:21:28.280 So these are Oracle cards
01:21:29.800 and you can actually pick one and ask a question
01:21:32.460 and it's like an affirmation of what to think about
01:21:35.580 on your hero's journey.
01:21:36.740 And it connects to your dreams.
01:21:37.980 Fantastic, fantastic.
01:21:39.420 Well, we're all really heroes in our dreams.
01:21:42.600 Yes.
01:21:43.440 Most of the time, I mean, sometimes we don't know that we are.
01:21:46.180 We're the hero in disguise, but we're all on a hero's journey
01:21:50.480 and we're moving towards that elixir,
01:21:54.560 moving towards that empowerment as much as possible.
01:21:57.420 So even if we take a step back,
01:21:59.260 it's like preparing us to go 10 steps forward.
01:22:01.940 All right, so the chicken soup for the soul book,
01:22:04.040 Dreams and the Unexplainable.
01:22:05.360 This is the most recent book that I wrote.
01:22:08.640 Okay.
01:22:10.060 What does that mean?
01:22:11.060 What's happening?
01:22:11.300 Well, keep going.
01:22:12.060 Dreams be unexplainable.
01:22:13.160 Exactly.
01:22:13.500 There's so many.
01:22:14.080 There's 101 stories, eye-opening stories about premonitions and miracles.
01:22:20.060 And then I brought you guys one of my first dream dictionary, the first book.
01:22:23.340 They go, oh, yeah.
01:22:23.860 And then we've also got Chicken Soup for the Soul, Dreams and Premonitions.
01:22:27.860 This is my first Chicken Soup for the Soul book a few years ago.
01:22:30.540 This is my very first dream book that got me kind of becoming, like, I don't know, writing dream books.
01:22:37.300 Put you on the scene.
01:22:38.120 I think there was a guy on this show holding this book earlier.
01:22:41.000 Yeah.
01:22:41.360 I think there was
01:22:42.820 Nice
01:22:43.220 Perhaps he was sitting in this seat
01:22:44.420 Should we get him back on the show?
01:22:45.680 Yes
01:22:45.980 Oh man
01:22:46.680 Ladies and gentlemen
01:22:47.280 It's Mr. Logan Paul
01:22:48.520 Logan Paul
01:22:55.820 Logan Paul
01:22:57.400 Logan Paul
01:22:59.020 Logan Paul
01:23:00.340 Logan Paul
01:23:01.000 Logan Paul
01:23:01.680 He's like the before version of you
01:23:03.860 This guy
01:23:04.480 Right here
01:23:05.240 He's like the before
01:23:06.360 Ah I see
01:23:07.120 Yeah
01:23:07.860 Exactly
01:23:08.640 Cool so those are some good books
01:23:10.340 you can get them on your website which is what kelly sullivanwalden.com and if that's too hard

01:23:33.320 of lots of words and yeah exactly on my website i have all these free there's a dream declaration
01:23:38.220 meditation that you can listen to before you go to sleep it's a free thing that i give away on my
01:23:43.180 kelly sullivanwalden.com so you can listen to it before you go to sleep and it gives you it reminds
01:23:48.560 you that you're going to remember your dream when you wake up in the morning that would be a really
01:23:51.980 cool thing very cool and it gives you the suggestion to to insert different thoughts about
01:23:57.000 what you want your dreams to help you with yeah so career body blah blah very cool i think i'm
01:24:01.880 gonna try to start lucid dreaming i think yeah you'd be amazing i could totally see you doing
01:24:06.480 that that's the next step for you but thank you for coming on the show you're so warm and kind
01:24:09.980 and also warm you're really also kind but hey we're gonna do uh audio only right now on spotify

01:24:18.980 we'll see you next time peace peace dream on this is it we're in audio only there's just no visual
01:24:26.400 okay it's pretty much just sorry about that guys i don't know why i got impulsive i kind of went
01:24:32.380 super saiyan well i i don't know i just got ticked off real quick i think the first time
01:24:38.380 like dylan was reminding me and i was like all right cool but then when i was like still gonna
01:24:42.340 do it and like you just came out of hypnosis though for god's sakes i mean you know some
01:24:46.060 people you were just like on another i was kind of angry yeah why was i so angry i think you made
01:24:51.500 me angry with hypnosis did i i don't know not maybe not you but i came sensitive you got i was
01:24:56.960 sensitive exactly it was like i didn't think i was going to do my job right right but that's a
01:25:01.360 that's a tall order for anybody to do.
01:25:03.640 I mean,
01:25:03.840 to come right out of hypnosis and then have to be like doing stuff.
01:25:08.400 No,
01:25:08.580 it's going to do it.
01:25:09.540 That's what I was going to say.
01:25:10.160 I was going to do it.
01:25:10.800 I was going to plug your books.
01:25:12.480 I've got three books.
01:25:13.720 You can do it.
01:25:14.460 You're doing great.
01:25:15.280 I mean,
01:25:15.460 the fact that you can even function.
01:25:16.940 Most people after hypnosis do nothing for the rest of the day.
01:25:20.280 They literally take a bubble bath.
01:25:21.800 That's like the big order.
01:25:22.900 Here's what I think the issue is,
01:25:24.100 Kelly.
01:25:25.460 Mike told you this.
01:25:26.340 We've been just knocking out podcasts this whole week.
01:25:28.780 This is our like 10th one in three days.
01:25:30.980 holy god all of us are exhausted and this is i think the last one that that we've we've bagged
01:25:36.140 so you're experiencing the the final like push nothing left at the you guys are doing pretty
01:25:41.660 we are the stump at the end of the giving number one yeah yeah seriously a thousand podcasts
01:25:49.180 one thousand i've got a and that was just this week i've got a dream that i used to have quite
01:25:54.120 a bit growing up where i would be and i saw it on the cover of your book i would be in class
01:25:59.900 butt ass naked oh yeah i've had that one and it's just like this is horrible right right right so 0.91
01:26:06.080 naked dreams usually are about feeling exposed feeling like something like that you're ashamed 0.99
01:26:12.840 of something you don't want it to be revealed like some kind of a secret or that usually it's
01:26:18.260 it's a venting dream like i said before about the teeth falling out it's like your subconscious
01:26:23.040 mind is helping you to vent out any feelings of insecurity not having enough but at the same time
01:26:28.380 I think there's a whole different kind of, obviously there's naked dreams if you're having sexual dreams, but also I think as we evolve as a species, there's a trend toward transparency, wearing your soul on your sleeve, like being impulsive, being completely who you are.
01:26:44.980 So I think that eventually we're going to get to the point where we have more and more naked dreams and we feel comfortable in that state.
01:26:51.920 And at school, any dream that takes place at school means that you're going through, you're being tested somehow and maybe not feeling like you got it, but it's a venting dream.
01:27:00.160 Because usually only people that are like doing stuff have those insecurity dreams about school and not being smart enough or whatever, because that means that you totally are, you're rocking it.
01:27:09.900 How does food and alcohol affect our dreams?
01:27:12.160 Totally affects our dreams.
01:27:13.760 Absolutely.
01:27:14.240 In a good or bad way.
01:27:15.320 I heard you're not supposed to eat.
01:27:16.640 Or no, if you eat like 10 minutes before you go to sleep,
01:27:19.060 you have nightmares or something.
01:27:21.000 Well, I always tell people in an ideal world,
01:27:23.600 you won't eat or drink anything at least an hour before going to sleep.
01:27:27.420 I mean, really, if you were going to rock it,
01:27:29.140 it would be like three hours before going to sleep.
01:27:31.700 In fact, there's some people that are super strict
01:27:34.460 that live in such a way that it's all about setting yourself up to have great dreams.
01:27:39.800 And that would mean if you're going to put any chemicals in your body,
01:27:43.940 it would be earlier in the day. So it's not going to affect your dreams. You're not going to eat a
01:27:48.500 big old sandwich right before you go to sleep because it will totally make your dreams. It's
01:27:53.420 kind of like putting your clothes in the laundry. It's like, if they're all muddy and caked with
01:27:57.680 stuff, like you should shake it off. You should like make it. So it's not going to make your
01:28:01.400 washer machine have to like work so hard. Your dreams are on your side, but you can,
01:28:06.880 you're, if you put chemicals in your body, it's definitely going to make your dreams harder to
01:28:11.060 harder to do what they can do for you does pizza give you nightmares if you eat pizza before that
01:28:16.220 that's what i heard right before you go to sleep if you eat any heavy meal and have and a lot of
01:28:20.680 people will drink alcohol because it makes them drowsy before they go to sleep and it will make
01:28:24.760 you drowsy it'll put you to sleep but then your blood sugar tanks and then your adrenaline spikes
01:28:29.640 and you'll tend to have nightmares and an unrestful sleep so do you have a i mean do you have a lot 0.81
01:28:35.160 because you have the typical fat sals. 1.00
01:28:38.000 I just don't have like any, 1.00
01:28:40.760 I don't remember any dreams, bro.
01:28:42.920 It's kind of a groggy.
01:28:44.180 Well, so tonight,
01:28:45.480 I bet you when you wake up tomorrow morning,
01:28:46.860 you guys are going to all have some really cool dreams.
01:28:48.820 Do people with hyperactive brains
01:28:51.720 tend to not remember their dreams?
01:28:53.580 Is there some sort of pattern in that?
01:28:55.440 Because Mike is very that way.
01:28:56.780 And so am I.
01:28:57.420 And so is my brother.
01:28:58.180 Like I wake up and it's never like,
01:28:59.900 oh, well, the first thing I think about
01:29:01.320 is like chicken pot pie with my grandma.
01:29:03.580 Like the first thing I think about is like, 0.98
01:29:05.160 Damn, I probably missed 50 emails already. 1.00
01:29:06.920 It's been 45 minutes since they hit the fucking office. 1.00
01:29:09.820 I get my phone and I start hitting emails. 0.99
01:29:11.040 Okay, so you talked about the to-do list
01:29:12.980 or having some actionable items.
01:29:14.940 So the average person that's in the 21st century
01:29:18.120 is that the first thing they think about
01:29:19.860 is social media or whatever.
01:29:21.920 And that is like the killer to your dreams
01:29:24.100 because the truth is that you're probably
01:29:26.520 waking up with some very vivid dreams,
01:29:28.680 but they're completely forgotten about
01:29:30.360 because your first thought upon awakening is,
01:29:32.900 what do I have to do today?
01:29:33.880 and then all of a sudden your dreams are gone.
01:29:35.820 But if you can get yourself in the habit
01:29:37.240 of just for the first five minutes of your waking time
01:29:40.960 to think about nothing else but your dreams,
01:29:44.060 have the question in your mind be,
01:29:45.460 what was I just dreaming about?
01:29:46.600 What was I just dreaming about?
01:29:48.000 And any thought about, yeah, yeah, yeah,
01:29:49.200 but I got to call that person or I got to do that thing.
01:29:51.400 Five minutes later, it's not going to kill you.
01:29:53.480 Because if you don't do it right then,
01:29:55.500 the dreams are gone.
01:29:56.620 And they could have been the best,
01:29:58.640 most enlightening, fulfilling, change your life dreams
01:30:02.040 and they will be gone if they're not your first priority in the morning.
01:30:06.140 Is there like a way that you might be able to like hook up some wires to my head
01:30:10.860 to extract my dreams for me?
01:30:12.500 Oh, actually, there is technology, as strange as that might seem,
01:30:16.280 coming out of Japan that says that, I mean, they're showing that there are certain algorithms
01:30:20.960 based on certain things that you're dreaming about that you can visually see.
01:30:25.880 It's super cryptic right now, but at some point they're saying that we will be able to see,
01:30:31.560 like show people what we've been dreaming we'll be able to see what's in each other's dreams i
01:30:35.860 mean that's not that far down the line that's crazy i know i saw i heard nasa's gonna pay people
01:30:41.440 to sleep to study their some REM cycles oh my god i know well 100 days oh my god that'll be
01:30:48.880 amazing okay yeah i know some people that have been part of the government that are super vivid
01:30:54.180 dreamers that can dream what's going on in other countries yeah it's it's amazing what you can do
01:30:59.660 with your dreams you like the song dream weaver by gary wright i love it classic yeah what about
01:31:05.180 what about dream weavers in general like the the little things that go above your bed oh that word
01:31:10.980 of bad spirits yeah that's what i that's what i eat so easily you can lead me into a bad place
01:31:17.420 hypnosis right now no the dream the dream catchers are really cool i think most people think that
01:31:23.240 they i don't know there's what is it it's a sign it's a sign yeah if things like dream weavers are
01:31:29.280 sign of things to come i think good things i think they are i mean they they either believe
01:31:34.040 that they are they catch your dream and they hold it for you so that so that you can remember them
01:31:39.520 and only the best ones drop down through those feathers into your mind oh very cool or yeah
01:31:44.260 it's supposed to protect right or they're catching the bad dreams and keeping them from you what
01:31:48.140 about dream catcher tattoos kind of kind of overdone don't you think maybe maybe but i like
01:31:53.540 them i don't know i can't get enough of them what about uh martin luther king's i have a dream
01:31:57.680 speech i love it i think it's amazing phenomenal speech oh my god remember the usa basketball team
01:32:03.200 the dream team uh from the olympics yeah it was like yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you guys are all
01:32:11.580 dream centric now what about dream works the animation studio i love them steven spielberg
01:32:17.080 right yeah dream hotel dream hotel i did a workshop there in new york and i want to do
01:32:21.620 something with the guy will ask la guy will walk past you you ever say that guy's dreamy oh yeah
01:32:26.340 or dream on or whatever what about dream on green from the uh what does that mean i don't know what
01:32:35.520 that means i may have pronounced it wrong dream on green oh is that okay that's an athlete yeah
01:32:41.020 okay cool what's the dream project real quick oh i have a note here oh my god he's the founder of
01:32:46.680 the dream project that is that's my non-profit program i started that um wow a bunch of years
01:32:53.900 ago. I was, long story short, I was at the United Nations and I got, I had a dream, a waking dream
01:33:01.360 while I was there. I had this vision of inner city kids. I grew up in the inner city. My dad was
01:33:07.260 a cop in East LA. And so I, and became a school teacher. Anyway, I had this vision of these kids
01:33:14.800 in the inner city, catching ideas that could end up becoming the thing that could fulfill the goals
01:33:22.320 of the United Nations to eradicate poverty and hunger and create gender equality and just create
01:33:28.340 a better world. And I ended up creating a curriculum and going into inner city schools
01:33:34.340 in South Central and East LA and working with these kids on this crazy idea I had. I thought
01:33:40.700 I might get shot. I might get killed because I'm just this crazy white lady. Like, who am I? 1.00
01:33:45.520 But it was super empowering. I actually used the hero's journey as part of the curriculum.
01:33:50.220 as this is, that's a whole other rabbit hole to go down.
01:33:54.040 I could share it with you at another time
01:33:55.600 if you want or whenever.
01:33:57.080 But really it's an empowerment program to let kids know,
01:34:00.360 the kids that feel disenfranchised,
01:34:02.400 to let them know that even though, yes,
01:34:04.380 they have their challenges for sure,
01:34:06.600 but compared to so many other kids
01:34:08.500 in other third world countries, developing countries,
01:34:11.300 they are kings and queens.
01:34:12.620 And if they wanted to,
01:34:13.920 they could do something to help them.
01:34:16.460 So I've created these projects where these kids,
01:34:18.700 Like these little gangbangers are like raising money, doing car washes, doing whatever to help to adopt a village in Kenya to do something that empowers them and gives them another career option like the UN or whatever as opposed to just thinking I want to be cool so I'm going to be a gang person and I'm going to, you know, whatever.
01:34:40.500 So we've gotten to take some of the kids that have these great ideas, accessing the dreaming part of their mind, the solution part of their mind, bring them to the United Nations, let them have a spotlight, let them get a chance to talk and find their voice.
01:34:55.060 So it's been amazing.
01:34:56.760 Very cool.
01:34:57.580 It's a curriculum.
01:34:58.400 If any teachers are listening and if anybody wants it, I've got a free curriculum, I'm happy to give away.
01:35:03.400 And I do teacher trainings if people are open to doing this.
01:35:06.480 We've reached about 500,000 kids at this point.
01:35:09.320 We do have some teachers.
01:35:10.240 that listen to the show i'm positive yeah and also i want to call this out this girl's been in
01:35:13.860 my inbox for days now it seems like a good time for it did you mention something about a flight
01:35:18.000 you wish you could meet a flight attendant from ohio at some point do you remember saying anything
01:35:22.720 about this for maybe your dream girl or something like that potentially maybe this girl is a flight
01:35:28.680 attendant from ohio and she has just been every hour she regenerates the message in my inbox
01:35:33.980 and it's like logan needs to see this oh no no you know what i said you know what i said is

01:35:41.500 Oh.
01:35:42.020 You know?
01:35:42.680 That's what I said.
01:35:43.240 Oh, so maybe she put that
01:35:44.260 with the fact that she's from Ohio.
01:35:46.000 Yes, for sure.
01:35:46.680 I mean, she's a pretty girl 1.00
01:35:47.280 and I think has over 10K followers. 1.00
01:35:49.320 She maybe even worth 1.00
01:35:50.200 reading her message.
01:35:51.620 You should show me.
