00:00:00.000 The Federal Liberals are doing their level best to connect the Conservatives to so-called white supremacists,
00:00:15.000 despite not having any evidence that any such connection exists.
00:00:19.000 They just released their updated terror watchlist.
00:00:22.000 Of the 51 groups named, the vast majority are Islamic extremist groups.
00:00:27.000 The other two are white supremacist groups that don't seem to have an actual presence in Canada.
00:00:32.000 The Iranian Republican Guard was not on that list.
00:00:36.000 But every time they open their mouth, they mention white supremacism is a major issue and a grave threat to Canada.
00:00:43.000 The Liberals trying to make it one does not make it so.
00:00:46.000 The two groups added to the list are Blood and Honour and Combat 18.
00:00:51.000 Both groups emanate out of the UK, which has had a long history of white supremacist groups,
00:00:56.000 dating back to the National Front and, to a certain degree, affiliated soccer hooligans.
00:01:02.000 The other groups added were Iranian-connected extremist groups.
00:01:06.000 But the headlines, and there were many, were all about the Government of Canada adding two white supremacist groups to that list.
00:01:14.000 None of this is to suggest there isn't an element of white supremacy in Canada. There is.
00:01:20.000 But it's very small and consists mainly of keyboard warriors in their mom's basement.
00:01:26.000 Do they show up on the radar of CSIS? Of course they do.
00:01:30.000 CSIS monitors all manner of extremist groups, but make no mistake, the bulk of CSIS investigators are more concerned with Islamist extremist groups,
00:01:38.000 foreign espionage, and attempts to infiltrate or corrupt our government.
00:01:42.000 So why the spin, and the push by the Liberals?
00:01:46.000 Well, with an election coming up in just a few months, I can only guess it is the old Liberal trope of always trying to paint Conservatives as white racists.
00:01:54.000 And the Liberals are the only party which can be fair to all groups.
00:01:58.000 It's been that way for virtually every election I can remember.
00:02:02.000 Sometimes it's just louder than others, but it's always there.
00:02:06.000 Remember the elections in the 90s and how they and their media lapdogs attacked Preston Manning and his Reform Party.
00:02:13.000 We had ten years of conservative government under Stephen Harper.
00:02:18.000 And despite all the howling of racism and that they'd legislate against abortion, they did nothing of the sort.
00:02:25.000 At some point, Canadians have to stop listening to the howls of outrage over manufactured issues and start asking questions about real issues.
00:02:36.000 The Liberals have accomplished very little in their term of the last four years.
00:02:41.000 They legalized marijuana and fumbled the rollout badly.
00:02:45.000 They still haven't fixed the Phoenix computerized pay system for their federal civil service,
00:02:50.000 and they've raised taxes on the middle class.
00:02:53.000 And they managed to hobble the energy industry, the economic lifeblood of this country.
00:02:59.000 Not an enviable record to run on.
00:03:02.000 So, they are resorted to the hoary old chestnut of racism.
00:03:06.000 What's next?
00:03:08.000 Soldiers on the streets with guns!
00:03:11.000 They seem bereft of any new ideas and are just the same old tax and spend Liberals who scream racist at every opportunity.
