00:00:29.460 the coronavirus since we first heard about it in early January. Consider that China admitted

00:00:37.700 on December the 31st that China informed the WHO about a cluster of 41 patients with a mysterious

00:00:46.160 pneumonia. The next day, they closed the Wuhan wet market. On January 7th, China identified

00:00:53.840 the novel coronavirus just days before its first death and released details of its genetic

00:01:00.840 sequencing. Ten days later, the U.S. had its first reported case in Washington state. A

00:01:07.840 week later, U.S. President Donald Trump banned all foreign nationals from entering the United

00:01:13.560 States if they had been in China in the previous two weeks. And the Prime Minister? Nothing.

00:01:19.840 By February 9th, the death toll in China had surpassed that of the SARS epidemic of 2003, which also

00:01:29.280 emanated in China. On February 19th, the outbreak in Iran began. On February 21st, the outbreak

00:01:37.220 in Italy began. By March 11th, the moribund UN organization, the WHO, finally declared a global

00:01:44.840 pandemic. Trudeau? Still nothing. March 13th, the U.S. declared a national emergency. And shortly

00:01:59.760 included the UK and Ireland in that order. Trudeau? Well, not so much. It wasn't until March 16th that the
