00:02:18.000 Jasmine. Thank you so much for having me. Okay, well, we've got a Canadian woman, a 33-year-old

00:02:24.480 who's in hot water with the folks at ICE. This is the Immigration and Customs Enforcement people

00:02:30.460 in New Jersey. She's in custody because she allegedly assaulted two people, two Trump 0.99

00:02:37.720 supporters. This happened over the July 4th weekend. I believe it happened on July the 3rd.

00:02:42.860 and she's in a lot of hot water.

00:02:49.920 He needs money in order to hire a lawyer.

00:03:28.840 it's the fact that she may have resulted, she may have assaulted these two girls.

00:03:39.640 minors. So that's a big deal. But I think for Canadians tuning into this story, there's a

00:03:47.620 really big difference between governments who say that they're going to do things and a country of

00:03:53.660 which actually does those things. And in Canada, we seem to have such a bizarre relationship when

00:03:59.620 it comes to law enforcement and much of it not really being applied. And people can kind of get

00:04:04.300 away with everything here in America, it's a very different story, especially depending on where it

00:04:09.960 is that you are. And, you know, ultimately there's so many individuals who feel so, so big on social

00:04:17.720 media and her husband, as an example, the one making this plea, he has more followers than I

00:04:23.300 do on some social media channels. And his content is very frequently anti-mega, anti-Republican.

00:04:29.300 This is obviously something that they agree with and freedom of speech is protected in America.

00:04:33.900 but when you take it a little too far, you might find yourself detained by ice and welcome to

00:04:40.040 consequences. In fact, society works very nicely when you have consequences that are actively

00:04:57.840 they have not said anything. I suspect that they're at least aware of the situation. All you

00:05:02.380 have to do is keep an eye on what's going on online and to see it's just blowing up on on x

00:10:58.020 Trump. He won the election, right? Even in Canada here, there's how many elections have we had and

00:11:04.860 people have voted the way that they did. And, you know, you can be upset about that. But being

00:11:09.560 upset to the point where you're going to do something terrible to a stranger, that is the

00:11:15.500 most anti-civilizational thing in the world to do. And I certainly do hope that in situations like

00:11:22.880 this, no matter what side of the political spectrum you are on, I think that consequences

00:11:27.140 should be upheld every single time. And you cannot let people feel so emboldened to just

00:11:33.720 approach somebody on a sidewalk like this. Imagine if it was flipped. Imagine if this

00:11:37.600 happened in the other direction. And while there are rare instances of similar things

00:11:42.860 happening and taking place, the data coming out for how frequently it really is the left

00:11:48.920 who is celebrating all of these things and glorifying these terrible actions. It's very

00:11:55.400 heavy leaning one way over the other and it's not right and people need to call it out and they need

00:11:59.320 to be punished and face consequences because it's not it's not human nature to behave like this and

00:12:04.680 it makes me really sad when i think about how much um civilization in many regards has declined and
