00:00:09.060 As a drag queen danced on a stage for the pleasure of students today inside York Mills Collegiate Institute, a protest of that event, organized by high school students, took place outside of the school today.
00:00:21.640 Now, that protest of the drag show going on inside that school attracted a large number of students and, of course, a large police presence.
00:00:30.080 The protest was organized by Save Canada, a non-profit volunteer organization committed to opposing radical gender ideology in Canadian schools.
00:00:40.120 Despite the special occasion, the International Day of Pink, which seems to be a new day created to highlight the victims of anti-LGBTQ bullying,
00:00:50.560 these high school students just don't seem to be buying the radical gender ideology message being forced on them by the media, woke teachers, and woke curriculum.

00:05:03.440 As you all know, Calgary City Council passed a bylaw that would make it illegal for anyone to peacefully protest a drag queen story hour within 100 meters of that event.
00:05:14.180 That same bylaw was introduced in the Ontario legislature as a piece of legislation by Ontario NDP politician Christian Wong Tam just last week.
00:05:24.420 I asked a protester who is a mother of school-age children and a volunteer with a group called Mom Army about what she makes of this new push to criminalize protests for drag queen story hours.
00:05:35.320 If this were taking place in Calgary, you would be violating a bylaw and you could be subject to an enormous fine, even a year in prison.
00:05:45.620 But I don't really see any reason why they would need to legislate peaceful protesters to stand 100 meters away.
00:05:51.940 What do you make of this new push to criminalize protesting, but specifically criminalize protesting for drag shows for kids?
00:05:59.720 That's a really great question and I actually just got an email back from my MP because I went at this hard with the NDP petition that's going around right now.
00:06:08.280 And my response to that is I would like a bill put forward that says that drag performers and anybody that is sexually active or making sexual acts be outside of the 100 meters of schools, libraries and any public spaces that have children.
