00:00:00.000 Kearney is also denying any attempt to interfere in America's elections,
00:00:10.560 this after the U.S. ambassador warned Canada not to interfere with the midterms next month.
00:00:17.040 Pete Hoekstra is putting Canada on notice over efforts to undermine the Republicans,
00:00:23.120 warning there would be consequences.
00:00:25.600 You know, keep your nose out of American politics, you know, four weeks before an election.
00:00:30.940 We are closely watching Canadian activities because it appears that some of this from our perspective
00:00:37.300 and the way that we view our elections could be inferred to be election interference, okay?
00:00:45.480 You have clearly the actions of the province of Ontario a year ago in running political ads
00:00:53.180 against our administration are interpreted as political interference.
00:00:59.340 It's never happened in America before, okay?
00:01:02.080 But Canada decided that they would test the waters and see how far they could go.
00:01:06.900 You have Jolie, Minister Jolie, talking about,
00:01:11.700 of course we're going to go and target tariffs and retaliatory tariffs
00:01:16.400 in politically sensitive states.
00:01:20.140 For the first part, Carney says, he's just standing up for Canada.
00:01:25.080 The U.S. ambassador to Canada, Pete Hoekstra, recently said he believes Canada is interfering in the American midterms.
00:01:33.420 What's your response to that?
00:01:36.040 He's wrong, number one.
00:01:39.160 And, you know, if interference in the U.S. midterms is standing up for Canada and not accepting a deal that wasn't in the interest of Canada,
00:01:47.460 wasn't in the interest of Alberta. That's an odd way to spin that. Joining us today is writer
00:01:53.320 commentator Dimpy Brar joining us from Oakville, Ontario. Welcome, Dimpy. Hi, Mr. Patroni. Always
00:02:00.200 wonderful to see you. Okay, let's get right down to it. Is Canada interfering in the U.S. elections
00:02:07.560 next month? Of course they are. They haven't exactly been hiding it or concealing it. The
00:02:15.100 clear strategy here set by one, I believe, Ms. Maya Johnson, the new COO of the PMO's office,
00:02:23.160 an old style Democratic National Committee operative, one who worked with the Clinton
00:02:29.100 campaign, but also most notoriously with another failed campaign, the Bloomberg campaign. So I just
00:02:36.760 want to point this out to your audience. The purpose of the ad that Mr. Ford placed in the
00:02:42.500 United States as well as these repeated overtures to swing states especially border states currently
00:02:50.300 at this point in the midterm election has been to help the Democratic National Party. Now you may
00:02:57.100 wonder why on earth would we want to be helping the Democrats in the first place? Well this is
00:03:01.800 the funny peculiarity of anti-Americanism in Canada. They're not anti-American per se they're
00:03:08.200 just anti-Republican and anti-Trump. They love when Mr. Obama interfered in our elections by
00:03:13.640 endorsing Trudeau and putting his thumb on the scale. They love Hillary Clinton. They love Alex
00:03:19.160 Soros. And they most certainly love people that are associated with the Eurasia group, who, by
00:03:25.120 the way, Mr. Carney's wife works for. So again, these are all attempts to interfere in midterm
00:03:32.240 elections in the U.S. to put their thumb on the scale and to get a democratic victory in either
00:03:38.640 the House or the Senate, preferably both. But what they fail to understand as Canadians is that they
00:03:44.440 do not understand the American electoral system. The tariffs as an issue of national security will
00:03:50.700 still fall under the purview of one Mr. Donald Trump. So none of this is going to work. In fact,
00:03:56.220 all they've succeeded in doing is now having Americans see Canadians in a far more negative
00:04:03.420 light than they ever have before. And I'm not sure that's to our benefit in securing a deal.
00:04:09.740 Yeah. And if Americans in general get a whiff of Canadian interference with their elections,
00:04:15.460 it's going to backfire big time. You know, that's not going to work in favor of the Democrats. I
00:04:19.800 don't think the Americans are going to take too kindly to that. And also walking away from the
00:04:24.840 deal last August. I mean, many people thought that was a done deal, including Trump, who came out
00:04:30.480 and said, yeah, we got a deal that Carney had called up late one evening, I guess, just around
00:04:38.060 before August 21st, and said, okay, you can have this, you can have that. And then when it came
00:04:44.220 time to signing it, he walked away. And so that in and of itself could be construed as an attempt
00:04:52.260 to hurt and damage Trump and the Republicans.
00:04:56.200 I think signing that deal would have been beneficial
00:04:59.580 to the Republicans going into an election.
00:05:02.860 That whole issue around trade and tariffs
00:05:05.280 would have been resolved.
00:05:07.080 And that would have been one less thing
00:05:09.000 for him to deal with it,
00:05:10.100 for Republicans to deal with.
00:05:11.480 Trump obviously is not on the ballot,
00:05:13.420 but it would have been one less thing
00:05:14.980 for Republicans to deal with in key states.
00:05:17.360 You know, we're talking about Michigan, for instance,
00:05:19.300 and Illinois, you know, border states.
00:05:22.260 where trade is so critical i mean isn't it possible that some of these uh trade-related
00:05:29.160 uh you know things that they're doing is really intended to hurt the republicans because if the
00:05:37.540 deal is all that bad you know show it to us you know and i've been saying this all along
00:05:42.680 if the deal is bad let canadians decide let's all see what you walked away from what do you think
00:05:48.880 Oh, well, it's a fascinating look into the mind of one Mr. Carney as well, because, of course, the issue that Mr. Greer has now identified as to the reasoning behind why Mr. Carney walked away was because Mr. Carney wanted exemptions for those Chinese EVs.
00:06:05.760 Now, one should ask, why is Mr. Carney so insistent on helping the Chinese Communist Party evade American tariffs through transshipment?
00:06:15.420 It certainly doesn't help the Canadian auto industry, so I'm not even sure why it would be something that we would be supporting at all.
00:06:23.120 Mr. Ford, I think, if in his right state of mind, would be open to agreeing with this, at least publicly, and supporting this.
00:06:31.220 Now, here is, again, another issue.
00:06:33.520 If Mr. Carney is so insistent and so passionate about helping stop electoral interference into Canada, for example, then he should have no problem fulfilling or finishing what Senator Linda Frum tried to do under the Trudeau government, which was the passing of a bill that prevents a major loophole in our Canada Elections Act.
00:06:55.380 For those who are unaware, we actually allow for open foreign financing of third-party groups in
00:07:03.160 Canada. Now, this was shut down by the Trudeau administration at the time for a very obvious
00:07:08.920 reason. Those third-party groups were actually, of course, American groups, and they were left-wing
00:07:15.280 environmental organizations. So things like the Deadwood Institute, I believe, was the name,
00:07:20.480 or the Dogwood Institute. So again, if he's so passionate about it, I'm sure he will very
00:07:28.320 quickly close that loophole. But I have a feeling that his ire when it's directed is only directed
00:07:34.040 towards Americans. It most certainly is not directed towards the Chinese who have been found
00:07:38.800 to influence our elections and interfere in both 2019 and 2021. Let's be real. Crime is up. Repeat
00:07:46.400 offenders are released on bail. Police responses are slower than ever. And in many places,
00:07:52.340 law abiding citizens are expected to just hope nothing bad happens. That's not good enough. And
00:07:57.760 that's why I'm very pleased today to be telling you about Berna. And I'm so pleased to have this
00:08:01.820 partnership with Juno News because I actually own one myself. I bought one before we ever had this
00:08:06.520 deal with Berna. So what is Berna? It is a non-lethal self-defense launcher that gives you
00:08:12.580 real protection without carrying a firearm. It looks like a firearm. It kind of feels like a
00:08:17.480 firearm, but it's not. It's non-lethal. So Berna launchers look and feel like a real handgun,
00:08:22.300 but they don't use bullets. Instead, they fire powerful kinetic rounds designed to stop a
00:08:27.020 threat from a distance up to 60 feet without lethal force. Here's why it matters. You don't
00:08:32.820 need a firearms license. You don't need a background check. There's no waiting period.
00:08:36.900 there's no permanent life-altering consequences if you're forced into the situation where you
00:08:42.880 have to defend yourself. Use the link in the description or visit junomarketplace.com
00:08:46.800 slash Berna for special offers. Make sure that you're prepared. It's better to be safe than sorry.
00:08:53.340 Yeah, that's a good point because if Americans think that Canada is interfering in their elections
00:08:59.480 that they might turn around and say, well, you know, maybe we'll take a page out of China's book
00:09:03.520 and interfere in Canada's elections. 0.58
00:09:05.840 Oh, and by the way,
00:09:07.280 America has a long history
00:09:08.600 of overthrowing governments,
00:09:11.300 of having an impact,
00:09:13.080 rigging elections in countries.
00:09:14.800 So they're a lot more experienced at it
00:09:16.680 than we are.
00:09:17.840 So, you know,
00:09:18.620 if we're going down that road,
00:09:20.580 even in a little way,
00:09:23.360 you know,
00:09:23.780 then we're playing with fire.
00:09:25.860 I really do believe that.
00:09:26.860 The other thing is
00:09:27.900 trying to put all our eggs
00:09:29.360 in the Democrats are going to win 0.99
00:09:30.960 the midterms basket
00:09:31.960 is not too good.
00:09:33.220 I don't think either, because Democrats might not win. It's quite possible that the Republicans
00:09:39.380 will hold on to one, maybe even both houses. And so if that happens, I think Trump might be even
00:09:47.740 more belligerent than he was before the midterms. I mean, isn't that likely?
00:09:53.920 Oh, absolutely. And let's take Michigan as an example. You know, the polls are kind of
00:09:58.340 stabilizing right now. What you're seeing is, at least in early polling, that there has been
00:10:03.000 quite an uptick in Republican voters. So I have a significant feeling if I were a betting woman,
00:10:09.480 which I'm not, but if I were, I would think that Mr. El-Sayed is going to lose Michigan.
00:10:14.520 But then exactly what is the message that Mr. Trump is going to receive? Mr. Trump is going
00:10:19.980 to see that Canada attempted to interfere in the Michigan election and ended up losing. That's
00:10:26.620 going to make it twice as bad. There's no win to this aspect here. And I will, again, just point
00:10:33.800 out something else for your audience that they should be careful to know. Mr. Carney's rhetoric
00:10:40.500 is bombastic, it's ridiculous, and it's preposterous. And he lacks the economic might 0.93
00:10:46.960 or the military force to back up those words. Like you said, if the United States really wanted to
00:10:53.840 interfere and change things, they would do so and it wouldn't take much. He's not just playing with
00:10:59.680 fire here. He's playing a game with people's lives. People cheered him on when he said that
00:11:05.500 there are those outside of our border who are trying to break us and own us. Now, he must now
00:11:10.560 decide. I mean, I'm sure he was talking about China because that is the correct answer. But 0.93
00:11:15.800 of course, he doesn't mention that anymore. But Mr. Carney needs to decide whether he is a friend
00:11:21.260 to the United States or an enemy of the United States? And I think that the American administration
00:11:26.260 should also ask that that be clarified. Because at this point, unlike Ambassador Hoekstra, who is a
00:11:32.340 diplomat, I am not. He's understating it when he says that this might be an election interference.
00:11:41.300 It's actually far worse than that. It resembles in many ways an act of war. And we need to be very,
00:11:46.880 very careful about the way that we're handling what is honestly just a tariff negotiation of
00:11:53.340 about 10% of goods that are not covered under Kuzma. 90% of goods in a $1 trillion friendship
00:12:00.460 are going tariff-free. Why are we losing our minds over the last 10%?
00:12:06.880 Yeah, and I hear that Carney now is bragging about how our pipelines now are going to allow
00:12:14.260 Canada to ship oil to China. I mean, those pipelines were agreed. We had two pipelines
00:12:22.100 that could have done that, were approved more than 10 years ago by Stephen Harper's government.
00:12:28.240 We could have had a pipeline going to the West Coast, shipping oil to Asia. We could have had
00:12:35.560 a pipeline going all the way to the East Coast, where we have facilities there in St. John,
00:12:42.260 New Brunswick, and then off to Europe and so forth. So the idea that somehow we're really
00:12:47.880 giving it to Trump now is a little ridiculous, considering that we could have avoided a lot of
00:12:52.720 this by giving ourselves some leverage, by approving these pipelines and moving ahead
00:12:57.220 with the construction of those pipelines, rather, a decade ago. But I guess he wants to take credit
00:13:02.920 now, does Carney, for building out the infrastructure in Alberta. And you can hear him
00:13:08.500 talking about that in Edmonton, you know, elbows up. Uh, I don't know what people in Edmonton at
00:13:14.820 that, uh, speech were really thinking here. Were they really thinking it's the liberals now we're
00:13:20.720 going to deliver on infrastructure, on oil and resource development. And they're the same people
00:13:27.240 that have been putting a stick in the spokes of the resource sector for over a decade. They're
00:13:31.660 the ones that we're supposed to trust now to, you know, get rid of this dependence on the U.S.
00:13:37.980 market it seems laughable and sometimes i really wonder what goes through the minds of people who
00:13:44.140 are now buying mr carney as this savior of canada's economy what do you think well when it
00:13:51.180 comes to pipelines i'll believe it when i see it when there are shovels in the ground i will believe
00:13:56.460 it but as as it now stands mr carney is really someone who is a creator of illusions he loves
00:14:03.580 spectacles. And it fits very nicely with everything we know about Mr. Carney. You see,
00:14:08.640 Mr. Carney has always been a little bit of a fake and a phony. When he went over to the UK, 0.95
00:14:13.480 he wanted to be included as a part of this elite aristocratic class of theirs. He managed to social
00:14:20.800 climb his way up through two marriages that were aristocratically linked. And he now comes back to
00:14:27.040 Canada, a nation to which he has no connection, no investment. All his assets, of course, are in
00:14:33.000 the United States. And if Mr. Trump, if you're listening, since Mr. Carney feels so strongly
00:14:38.900 about America and how dangerous it is, he most certainly won't need those assets. So there would
00:14:44.300 be no problem freezing them. But Mr. Carney has always been, again, a kind of a fake. He says
00:14:53.240 things that he believes that the people want to hear. And the people are most certainly flattered
00:14:57.440 by it, especially a group of citizens over a certain age. I think that is what we're dealing
00:15:03.120 with now. Again, a group or a demographic which is largely insulated from the actions and the
00:15:08.780 consequences of Mr. Carney's behavior. The rest of the country does not have that luxury. It is a
00:15:16.400 luxury to be a Carney supporter. It is a luxury to be a believer in net zero in the year of our
00:15:23.020 Lord 2026. And it is a luxury to, again, support this man who, for all intents and purposes,
00:15:30.240 Mr. Petroni, he is essentially a governor of a 51st state under the Democratic National Committee.
00:15:37.440 That's who he works for. He too is a Democratic National Operative at this point. And he has
00:15:42.740 really reduced the sovereignty of Canada to something akin to a kind of slavishness. If
00:15:48.680 you notice it's always canda last under mr carney we're always looking for new masters whether
00:15:54.220 that's an associate member of the eu whether that's a vassal state of china but what it what
00:16:00.060 it never is is just simply canada dimpy uh how do people follow you online oh you can follow me at
00:16:07.620 my twitter at is this dimpy b uh d-i-m-p-e-e-b and i'm always posting because apparently i have
00:16:16.300 nothing better to do with my time. Well, you're also writing as well, like the American Spectator
00:16:23.060 and the Daily Wire. So continued success with that. Thank you so much, Mr. Petroni. It's always
00:16:29.300 a pleasure to be here with you. Pleasure's mine. If you enjoyed the show and appreciate great
