00:01:05.900 years and years. And yes, his comedy is a little bit risky, right? It's very funny. He makes fun

00:01:18.940 he'd do these hilarious videos where he'd make fun of Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow. Well-deserved.

00:01:46.280 News BC puts out. Canadian comedian Ben Venkis is pushing ahead with his plan. Kelowna BC stopped

00:01:58.320 got ripped to shreds because people are tired of this. People don't like this routine where you say,

00:02:03.940 oh, that person's bad. So we're going to pretend that there's this huge crowd of Canadians that

00:02:08.860 just can't handle him and hate him. And we're going to get him canceled. They did the same thing

00:02:13.000 to Sean Foyt. We covered Sean Foyt, the Christian prayer leader and Christian singer who tried to do

00:02:18.740 a Canadian tour. Then the media decided that he was MAGA and right-wing and did everything they

00:02:24.000 could to have his tours stopped. Many of them were. They successfully canceled many of his tour stops

00:02:28.820 by using this tactic. Well, now they're trying to do it to Ben Benkis, and I think it's backfiring.

00:12:21.920 that Ben Bankus faces right now is that he is becoming far too popular to be controlled and to

00:12:28.500 be dictated to by the media and by activists. He sells out shows in the United States and he has a

00:13:46.620 to understand the reference. But the idea was that Barbara Streisand didn't want her, that photo of

00:13:52.360 her house in some book. And so she ended up suing the person and it became like way, way more famous

00:13:56.960 than the book would have ever been otherwise. We had this conversation yesterday about this

00:14:01.280 trans person who's running for mayor of Hamilton. He threatened to sue us because we refused to use

00:14:06.360 he, him, because we used he, him pronouns instead of she, her pronouns, even though it's a man.

00:15:18.780 think they're losing. What do you think? Well, they're creating murders in a way, right? This

00:15:23.120 is what this is what they're doing. And I think, again, it speaks to the fact that it's pretty

00:15:27.120 obvious. You and I can see it, Candace. Thousands of people can see it, that when the media creates

00:15:33.140 these hit pieces, they're losing their power. Yes, they still have some influence, but it's losing

00:15:37.560 its weight. And what happens is you are seen as someone taking slings and arrows. If you're on

00:15:42.860 the receiving end of these hit pieces, you're seen as someone standing in the way of the attacks

00:15:48.040 that are going to the audience. And so that makes these characters, whether it's Ben Bankus,

00:15:53.120 whether it's Sean Foyt, the singer, whether it is Don Cherry, for example, that is what is making

00:16:00.140 people stand that that's, that's raising their profile. It's making them seem like they are the

00:16:04.960 ones standing up, taking the shots from the media, and it makes them more famous. It's almost now

00:16:11.040 seen as if you're sort of in this right wing space, it's almost now seen as a rite of passage.

00:16:36.640 it's like so irrelevant when they do it uh first of all but but yeah it's like a badge of honor i
