JustPearlyThings - Boss Babe CAN'T ACCEPT This FACT About Men

00:00:00.000 if someone doesn't support me it makes me feel really bad i've worked my ass off to get to where

00:00:05.760 i am and if they don't i'm like you don't care about me you're not gonna support my dreams and

00:00:10.000 my career and everything what dreams does a woman with a neck tattoo have am i crazy like what what

00:00:16.000 dreams down and down what's your business i do nails nails okay i've been doing it for like a

00:00:21.680 little over two and a half years okay nice being a nail tech really like the way these women talk 1.00

00:00:28.640 you think they're like serial entrepreneurs what's your dream to do nails like can't you just do your

00:00:35.040 own and your friends but when you say support what do you mean um like if i show you my work

00:00:42.000 and you're like oh it's like it's cool or if they don't like

00:00:48.960 how interested do you want men to be in nails you know what i mean like i mean how interested are

00:00:55.520 you in like watches or like a shoe collection it's cool but what up guys welcome to the just

00:01:01.920 pearly things youtube channel and welcome to my reaction series today i'm gonna be reacting to

00:01:07.280 boss babe can't accept this fact about men this is from the whatever podcast i was on this podcast a

00:01:12.800 couple of months ago uh let's play the video i i could agree if someone doesn't support me it makes

00:01:19.280 me feel really bad i've worked my ass off to get to where i am and if they don't i'm like you don't 0.80

00:01:24.480 care about me you're not gonna support my dreams and my career and everything but i'm gonna support

00:01:28.480 you with everything you do yeah but if i don't get the same back i'm not with you anymore like you just

00:01:33.680 what dreams does a woman with a neck tattoo have am i crazy like what what dreams down and down like

00:01:39.520 with my feelings towards you if you don't what's your business i do nails nails okay i've been doing it

00:01:45.120 for like a little over two and a half years okay nice got my clientele all that so you would be upset if

00:01:50.320 uh your partner didn't uh support you in terms of your business yeah okay being a nail tech really

00:01:58.240 like the way these women talk you think they're like serial entrepreneurs what's your dream to do 1.00

00:02:04.160 nails like can't you just do your own and your friend if i told when you say support what do you

00:02:09.040 mean um if they don't like if i show you my work and you're like oh it's like it's cool or if they don't

00:02:16.960 like how interested do you want men to be in nails you know what i mean like i mean how interested are

00:02:22.960 you in like watches or like a shoe collection like it's cool but you had a really good day of work and

00:02:28.480 you're really excited about it and like you're proud of yourself if they're not proud of you

00:02:32.080 then i don't think that's a good thing can i add yeah i also so it's like not my business it's my

00:02:39.040 sister's she does like events in town i was talking about it i think before we started the podcast

00:02:43.840 they're like flea markets in town and i feel like i i usually like invite like my close friends

00:02:49.600 and stuff and if i was in a relationship and i invited the person and they didn't come i feel

00:02:54.880 like i say like too much i already know but i would i probably wouldn't like them as much if they like

00:03:02.160 didn't come and support me wait so and you just going back to you so you said that you'd want to tell

00:03:10.000 your partner about like a good day at work so i mean no offense or anything but what is a good

00:03:14.480 day at work doing nails if i i personally like the work that i did i okay like because is there

00:03:20.240 an artistic component oh 100 okay i can see the designs could be really pretty or i had a really

00:03:24.800 good conversation king what would you say to a girl like if she said i had a good day at work

00:03:32.000 like what i don't i'm just trying to figure out what she expects them guys to say

00:03:35.280 i don't understand like what because she's saying i want the guy to support me with her like nail

00:03:40.960 business so if she says i have a good day at work what do you say okay i don't know i'm happy for you

00:03:49.280 it wouldn't be enough because she's saying it's not enough support

00:03:55.200 guys okay his answer was exactly what i thought guys don't like they don't care

00:03:59.520 someone because i build a lot of bonds with my clients and i become friends with them a lot of my

00:04:05.360 really close friends now are because i met them by working and they just make an appointment with

00:04:09.920 me and then i a lot of times i become their friend because of the connection you grow sure but like a

00:04:15.360 lot i've like shown guys like my work and they're like they just either ignore that i like i'll show

00:04:19.200 them a picture or they kind of ignore it but like over text um and they just don't really say anything

00:04:23.040 or feel like oh my god i'm so proud of you like you're doing really well um especially like i'm 19 and i

00:04:28.240 have my own business and congrats thank you and if they're not supportive of that okay when women 1.00

00:04:33.440 say they have this like business right it's always like a a nail bit like it's always something where

00:04:39.200 there's no employees it's just them like doing only fans or like nails like a bit misleading just

00:04:46.160 doesn't think they're supportive of my career a lot of guys think it's either really cool or really

00:04:50.560 stupid yeah i mean what got what guys would think it's that cool like what what guys are gonna are 0.97

00:04:58.640 gonna think that nails or that i mean gay men might you know what i mean like i think when you're in a 1.00

00:05:06.160 relationship with someone you should certainly be supportive of them i think part of that might be

00:05:11.360 related to what it might be related to though is that men don't really care about a woman's career

00:05:21.840 in just let me clarify a bit it doesn't make you more attractive to us if you have a career or you're

00:05:27.680 successful or you're ambitious did you say why no i was just saying okay oh okay yeah i'm just yeah so

00:05:32.960 i think for for most men like we like because you might be an outlier but most women don't share their

00:05:39.760 their resources with men the same way that men share their resources with women i know a lot of

00:05:44.240 you are in college so it's like what are you talking about brian but like you're probably

00:05:47.840 finances to you guys probably are not really high on the totem pole yet because most of the guys you're

00:05:53.440 probably interacting with are in college they're not in a career yet but as you do start to get a bit

00:06:00.240 older um you know you hear a lot about women like men with high status so if that could be through a

00:06:06.720 job if they're an athlete musician actor something like that whereas men we do not care it we really

00:06:12.160 care nothing at all about a woman's status whereas women care if a man has status that is can be very 0.70

00:06:21.120 attractive it's also kind of hated upon though like i know a lot of women who end up with men who i guess

00:06:28.480 would be considered like lower status or not paid as much it gets more disrespected than if it was

00:06:34.000 actually just a man of a higher status with a woman of a lower status i feel like that's more

00:06:37.520 unusual i feel like a lot of people yeah like yeah yeah like the trophy wife tropicine is super common

00:06:42.480 but you don't really see the other way i feel like it's kind of stigmatized i think it's going to be a

00:06:46.000 new thing i think it's going to be really common older women over the age of 35 dating 20 something 1.00

00:06:53.200 year old men yes you think it's stigmatized for a woman to be with be with a man who's yeah like

00:07:01.920 learning less than her or if you even go on like the internet and just see like these really famous

00:07:07.520 influencers with their husbands who just are in the background it's like constantly in the comments

00:07:12.000 it's like why is she with him what is she doing like he's like just doing this and that it's but if

00:07:16.880 you see like a very like ronaldo or something you wouldn't question why he had a girlfriend he's

00:07:23.280 back he's back he's watching round uh sorry go ahead oh like first like a famous celebrity or

00:07:30.480 something like that if it was a male you wouldn't you wouldn't bat an eye if they had like a really

00:07:33.760 attractive younger person who wasn't even a celebrity yeah i would say though overwhelmingly like a lot of

00:07:40.560 did you want to come in on this it looked like you were okay it looked like it seems like for women who 1.00

00:07:45.680 are high status there are definitely women that will date down but the thing is is as a woman as

00:07:52.640 you start increasing your status and as you start making more money your pool of potential partners

00:07:58.960 tends to shrink because most women don't want to date a guy who's lower status than them or whose uh

00:08:07.200 earning potential is lower than them now again true you guys are in college so like you haven't

00:08:12.320 probably played too much or wrestled too much with these sort of dynamics but and i know you're an

00:08:17.200 outlier apparently but um i'd say so yeah most most women and if you i think they've done polls on this 0.96

00:08:23.280 like most women and you can also do with uh education attainment most women would want to date a man who 1.00

00:08:29.120 is at least as or more educated than she is i think as might be i don't know

00:08:36.800 so if she has a bachelor she wants a guy who has a bachelor's she has a master's i don't know if 0.98

00:08:42.960 they they did it for uh you know it's interesting the pulling for younger women on what they rate 0.71

00:08:49.840 desirable when they're younger it tends to be something like a nice car or like um a nice restaurant

00:08:55.920 stuff like that where when they're older it tends to be more like pensions um like um a house like

00:09:03.680 long-term stuff grad student like people who have graduate level degrees but um post-grad whatever

00:09:11.200 it's called uh so yeah i i feel like with that it's just like finding a partner like you're finding an

00:09:19.440 equal like you want to have someone who has kind of the same edge like when you were saying with

00:09:29.120 education like you want someone with the same education as you it's more of just seem seeing

00:09:33.920 someone as like an equal instead of like maybe having to like try and explain things to him that

00:09:40.640 he wouldn't understand and that's not saying like you both have to have like engineering degrees in

00:09:46.240 order for that to happen like it can definitely be where maybe like she is some like boss business 1.00

00:09:53.600 woman but he's out like doing like i don't know maybe he's just like doing something like a little

00:09:59.120 bit so it's like a personal trainer or a musician whenever it's like the women are high earning 1.00

00:10:04.160 it's always personal trainer a musician or some sort of like exciting job where they're good looking i

00:10:10.400 don't really i can't think of any examples but it doesn't mean like i feel like it's not it's not so

00:10:16.720 much as something that needs to be put down on paper it's kind of like an everyday kind of thing

00:10:21.120 like she wants to be able to talk to him and not feel like she's talking to someone that isn't

00:10:27.680 matching her like mentally if that makes sense i think men also kind of feel like from what i've

00:10:34.320 talked to i feel like i've met more men who like are more comfortable or prefer taking that like

00:10:38.560 breadwinner position like a lot of guys i've talked to like actually want it's mostly it's like 20

00:10:45.360 roughly or stay-at-home moms and then half of the population it's 50 50 but the man still 0.93

00:10:52.160 does the majority of the bills typically to engage in that i think for a woman it's more

00:10:56.880 because only recently like in the past 100 years when i've kind of gotten the rights to do whatever

00:11:01.680 so it's kind of always trying to work up on an even playing field versus i think a lot of men still

00:11:05.280 kind of just want to not all of them but a lot too i mean who's gonna watch the kids like who

00:11:11.840 what if yeah do you find a lot of women want to fall into the role of you know housewife i've 1.00

00:11:17.200 actually met quite a few who like actually want to do that especially more like religious people but

00:11:22.800 it's still pretty common i'd say yeah did anybody else want to come in on this oh sorry did did you

00:11:28.560 have more i was just saying in university it's kind of biased because all the girls here are pursuing 1.00

00:11:32.240 like a higher education so you wouldn't really find that yeah and obviously like sometimes like

00:11:38.320 girls joke about it like oh it'd be so nice to just marry rich and then you don't have to worry 1.00

00:11:43.440 about anything but i like how she says they want to marry rich and they don't say stay home with the

00:11:50.400 kids so many times staying home is associated with being rich when a lot of housewives are actually 1.00

00:11:56.560 they just live a very frugal lifestyle and don't spend on extravagant things and that's why kevin

00:12:02.720 samuels would always ask do you want to stay home with the kids women always want to be 1.00

00:12:06.800 stay-at-home moms in upper to middle class neighborhoods that is expensive that lifestyle 1.00

00:12:12.320 is expensive they don't want to move into the country and be at stay-at-home mothers never go 0.99

00:12:16.960 on vacation that's not what they see they want it to be their kids are in the best schools they want

00:12:21.440 to travel that would be nice it would be nice it's the dream but obviously like every time

00:12:28.160 like i say it personally like i mean as a joke like i have my own aspirations what are your aspirations

00:12:35.280 well i mean what are you what are you saying again i'm undeclared okay like i don't have any at the

00:12:40.400 moment but like i do want to have something of my own like if i were to get into a relationship like

00:12:48.960 i and see that's programming she's been taught she always has to have a backup plan always always

00:12:54.320 always guys this has been 50 years of this personally would not want to just like live

00:13:00.720 off of everything that he's doing and just have like if i want to go grocery shopping hey can i get

00:13:06.800 some money to go grocery shopping like that's not what i mean i just want to come in on this really quick

00:13:11.920 so it's kind of interesting because like you have so traditionally you would have the man providing

00:13:17.840 and it was more traditional so he'd be the head of the household he'd be the lead the leader so to

00:13:23.360 speak and it's interesting to me that women so you could say that women were submissive to their 0.99

00:13:29.600 husbands wives were submissive to their husbands but you've traded that by being submissive to an 1.00

00:13:35.920 employer you now instead of being submissive to your husband you are now submissive to an employer

00:13:41.120 and your employer is going to ask i would say much more of you than with a husband well i mean

00:13:45.600 wouldn't you also be like submissive to an employer yeah i mean we're all submissive to something no but

00:13:51.120 i'm saying like traditionally if the man if if you were say a stay-at-home you didn't have to go out

00:13:56.720 and labor you didn't have to go out and work you would you would only be submissive to a husband and 1.00

00:14:02.720 the kids and the cleaning and the cooking and yeah well i don't think i don't think women should be 1.00

00:14:08.000 submissive to their children well they do have to like do everything for them okay fair well you're

00:14:15.760 i i think as a as a mother you have a thought you're in a position of authority over your

00:14:20.480 children yeah yeah hopefully yeah you know and brian brings up a lot of good points so many times

00:14:26.080 chicks like the thought of listening to their it's so backwards because we put money at the top of 1.00

00:14:30.720 everything instead of listening to your husband who gives you children we listen to an employer who

00:14:36.400 gives us money and i understand it's 2023 people still have to work but why can't women work inside 1.00

00:14:42.400 the home i mean there's a million stay-at-home working jobs laptop jobs that you can do but let

00:14:47.600 me know what you guys think in the comments what uh what a show like the video on your way out

00:14:52.400 subscribe to the channel and i'll talk to you next time
