00:00:00.000 society that has stood that stood the testament of time has ever been ruled by women i've got no 1.00
00:00:05.920 idea none probably none there's a heron tribe that were female dominated yeah which one yes 1.00
00:00:12.400 i don't know but they were there's articles about it in the new york times that have stood the test
00:00:15.600 of time that's what does that's time now yeah yeah there's exceptions yes there's exceptions
00:00:20.240 but not necessarily no no i agree with you interesting you know women are more likely to 1.00
00:00:24.320 wage war wait yeah so women are more likely to start wars like when women are in power you can 1.00
00:00:32.880 just look it up well no but women make better ceos especially in companies when in power 1.00
00:00:38.800 women of power do better in business situations because they're a little bit more empathetic and 1.00
00:00:44.000 copacetic and they're able to manage so that you think more women you think more women would be 0.76
00:00:49.520 part of the one percent not necessarily because we live in a patriarchal society you think it's
00:00:53.200 because of the patriarchy oh of course 100 okay why there's nothing stopping me if i want to be
00:00:57.440 a ceo um no there is because you're in a picture it's yeah historically the patriarchal society of
00:01:01.760 course men are men and they're like what does that have to do with me today i was born like i was born
00:01:06.960 in 1996. oh my gosh i hate when men try to explain that i am oppressed take your white night for your 0.52
00:01:17.440 girlfriend okay respectfully and you know you seem like a nice person nothing personal but like 0.99
00:01:23.120 take your white night ass and do that for your girlfriend take that away from here if your 1.00
00:01:27.840 girlfriend wants to believe she's oppressed and this girl didn't even really seem like she felt 1.00
00:01:33.280 oppressed but like whoever whoever you're talking to or whoever you're doing this for
00:01:36.560 go take that there because here or we have winner mentality we have we can do it mentality
00:01:42.320 exactly yeah yeah no so i'm saying like no yeah if anything i think it's easier to be a woman and
00:01:48.480 at most jobs like i would say i've been given better treatment because i'm a woman oh yeah in europe or
00:01:52.640 in the u.s both that's incorrect you're telling you're telling me that's incorrect yes okay yes being
00:01:58.080 a a man who's in the u.s and has been in the industry for over 20 years what what and what
00:02:03.280 industry quality i've been in engineering and in advertising okay okay but women don't want to be 1.00
00:02:08.800 engineer actually they do they're the whole thing to come yeah no no they don't because they don't
00:02:12.880 enroll to be engineers in college if we wanted to be engineers not enrolled they're actually not
00:02:16.720 nurtured to be into stem and they're not given the opportunity to be in stem but then why when you
00:02:20.480 look at the countries that have more opportunity to do what we want to do so like like scandinavian
00:02:29.120 countries versus like countries in the middle east where women have less rights and it's pretty 1.00
00:02:33.920 equal like the pay gap it increases it doesn't decrease so when women have more choice the pay 1.00
00:02:39.200 gap increases you can't necessarily say there's a direct correlation between the two right correlation
00:02:42.400 is not causation no i understand that but i'm asking why is that that's a good question i'm not
00:02:46.240 a researcher on that but i'm not saying that you can directly tie the two together right i would say
00:02:50.320 women like even just from anecdotal experience like men are men are more likely to help you when you're
00:02:55.520 a woman i've never got what i wanted yeah i never have not gone for a job and not got it yeah anecdotally
00:03:01.440 what i'm saying and if and if i'm looking at data that supports it like that's how i'm inclined to
00:03:05.760 believe what i believe so i'm curious so i'm saying like why do you believe what you believe
00:03:09.520 because research shows and research from what i believe is peer-to-peer evaluated especially look at
00:03:14.720 okay what what what research i'm just curious oh there's plenty of research if you look at anything
00:03:18.560 from like which one this insider and new york times and new yorker a lot of them support the fact that
00:03:22.880 women don't have as much opportunity as men i'm not saying it's right or but i do believe that women 0.53
00:03:27.920 should have the opportunity and there are women who are discriminating against look at pay gap right 1.00
00:03:31.200 yeah but the pay gap like like no two groups are going to be paid the same but they should be
00:03:36.080 that's why there's country you've you've seen there's there's certain countries that actually
00:03:39.520 do have this openness about what people's salaries are right and when salaries are not disclosed
00:03:44.880 that's when you see a pay gap well i'm saying like 60 percent of women have never asked for a raise 0.99
00:03:49.840 so how can so how about but i'm saying how can we complain about something when like we're not asking
00:03:54.160 for raises why are you not asking that's a real question because we're but we're yeah we're
00:03:59.040 we're scared do you not believe you're worth it well what do you mean do you not believe you're worth
00:04:03.920 what men like women well women no i'm saying i'm saying i'm saying i'm saying no i'm saying i'm
00:04:09.200 saying women are more agreeable so we're more likely to agree we're men so but i'm saying that's
00:04:13.840 biology that's not the society biology i completely 100 disagree with the biology i'd like to hear why
00:04:20.640 you think it's biology well i would just say like biology why because throughout history like men
00:04:25.680 typically had to be more biology i want to hear the biological physiological explanation for why
00:04:29.600 you think that's the case i'm saying when you take men and women at large right and you and you measure
00:04:34.880 their personality traits like women are more agreeable than men and and i and i'm saying so and the
00:04:41.680 reason i think that also is because if you look at countries that are more free the pay gap increases
00:04:48.400 i think it's pretty easy like when you look at things like scandinavian countries again where they're more
00:04:53.600 egalitarian and like countries in the middle east east where they're less like that's pretty you 0.96
00:04:58.080 would agree like like saudi arabia where women can't drop you know i actually don't know if i
00:05:02.320 agree with that statement free is a very subjective term if you ask saudi arabian women if they're free 0.90
00:05:06.880 a lot of them would say they're actually freer than those who are from christian-based countries you're
00:05:10.960 right you're right but so the way i would say under the law under the law so like under the law if you
00:05:16.880 look at the law for islamic countries women have a lot of power whether they exercise it or not 0.99
00:05:22.880 is a whole different issue and whether they're under a conservative so how would you define
00:05:26.800 freedom that's a great question that's why i'm asking you no i no no no no i'll tell i'm telling
00:05:32.000 you what i'm saying so like but you're not defining it so the way the way i'm saying it is like men and
00:05:37.920 women that have equal opportunity there's no law holding them back so like for example in saudi arabia 1.00
00:05:43.120 a couple years ago women couldn't drive i would say that's not free and when you look at countries that 1.00
00:05:47.360 go like drive driving equates to freedom partially yeah that's one freedom voting that's another
00:05:53.440 freedom like yeah education education is sure another one but yeah again correlation is not
00:05:59.360 causation so i think you have to take into account other factors that surround it so driving i think
00:06:03.520 is a great example of that voting education great i think that's perfectly great and i totally agree with
00:06:08.000 that yeah but i wouldn't use driving as an example what i wouldn't use driving but you education would
00:06:13.280 you use education absolutely is it driving an education it's an issue to get somewhere right
00:06:18.800 but if it's like transportation that's another form okay well i'm saying like if if it was the case
00:06:24.720 that okay i'm saying like if it was the case that we were really so oppressed and held back and it was
00:06:35.200 the patriarchy like in the countries where we had more freedom we would do better and we don't like
00:06:40.240 i think women pick different things like women like people men like objects i'm not sure if i
00:06:44.160 agree with that statement but i know where you're going with that argument like okay i'm one of ten i
00:06:48.160 have ten siblings i'm one of ten five boys five girls i was always told i could do whatever i want
00:06:54.080 my brothers are all engineers i'd rather die than being an engineer props to you i'm not doing that
00:06:58.560 anymore it doesn't mean i do it anymore right and even if we look at like the hard jobs
00:07:04.560 yeah i get that um i i think even if we look at like the hard jobs right what do you define a car
00:07:13.200 like bricklaying plumbers electricians i think my job's hard physically hard yeah is that what you're
00:07:19.120 physically demanding yeah i'm sorry a bricklayer that's harder than a nanny like just my it's not
00:07:24.400 at all my job is very hard if you're talking about physically demanding yes there's certain
00:07:28.880 position yeah i'd say jobs that would probably be easier for a certain gender but gender is also 1.00
00:07:36.560 something that i think you need to define as well to define gender yeah oh if you're born a man if
00:07:41.040 you're born a woman i mean how do you define born as a man um the the the chromosomes like xxxy people who
00:07:49.440 are born to three chromosomes or one missing chromosome how do you find them um i don't know how i would
00:07:53.600 define the people you say because you know there's more people who are born with an extra chromosome
00:07:57.600 people who are redheads so they exist more than you do so how would you define them they're not 0.99
00:08:01.280 men or female i don't know i don't know how i define them and that's why i asked the gender
00:08:05.280 question okay i'm just what do you mean i mean i would just say like for the most part but i'm
00:08:09.840 talking about the rule i'm not talking about the exception so but i'm saying like a lot of times
00:08:13.760 i can you i'm not trying to be rude but you keep interrupting me when i'm trying to talk
00:08:18.080 i'm like your arguments don't make sense that's why i'm interrupting i know but like again that's rude
00:08:22.320 like like like this is supposed to be a polite conversation no i i it's not polite when you
00:08:27.440 keep interrupting me i thought this is a place of uh pre-discussion and apparently we have free rules
00:08:32.320 yeah i mean isn't equal i mean if you aren't you just more agreeable i am that's why i'm nicely
00:08:39.120 telling you and i'm not interrupting you actually you should fight for what you want right yeah yeah we
00:08:43.600 should and that's and that's your point then and i don't know what we're even talking about i don't
00:08:48.240 you're talking you're talking about exceptions right a lot of times a lot of yeah because the
00:08:52.400 majority of people are born with two chromosomes not three so and that's what i'm saying i'm talking
00:08:57.440 about the rule i'm not talking about the exception there's no rule though that's the problem i think
00:09:00.960 you need to use right do you do you think that do you think that gender doesn't exist i agree that
00:09:05.280 gender does not exist so how would you define a man and a woman i don't define a man and a woman
00:09:09.760 so could i be a man you could if you'd like to be yes how so depends on how you define a man
00:09:15.200 i don't believe in the binary system okay explain more so like once again as we went over this once
00:09:21.280 before two percent of the population which is more than people who are redhead okay but i'm talking
00:09:26.560 about for me not not the two percent well i'm i'm drawing a comparison if you allow me to and not
00:09:31.120 interrupt there's more people that are born with an extra chromosome who are not men or female who not
00:09:37.200 who have not only one genitalia but two okay how people describe a man or a woman depends on what
00:09:43.680 society live in some describe it as a gentelia others believe it's on hormonal on hormonal and
00:09:50.240 what you actually which one is greater testosterone or whether it's estrogen if you look the limbic
00:09:57.120 system right now olympics now defines it as having a certain level of testosterone or estrogen
00:10:01.920 not on genitalia there's women who have been excluded excluded from female competitions because 0.89
00:10:07.120 they have a higher level testosterone but they were born with female parts are they female or male
00:10:12.560 they're excluded because they're female so if lebron james went on estrogen for two years
00:10:18.320 they would be excluded so he could compete in the women's division well according to the division 0.95
00:10:23.600 when people govern that sport they probably would be excluded yeah would you agree with that i'm not
00:10:29.440 the one who's an expert on that i i leave that to experts who are medical physicians based on like
00:10:34.160 common sense i'm not an expert in physiology or biology i'm not a doctor wouldn't you leave it to
00:10:39.360 experts no i mean i play i played them do you believe climate change i don't have an opinion
00:10:43.440 on climate change you don't yeah do you believe it happens or not what did you leave that to the
00:10:48.720 expert son my point is leave it to the expert i don't know i think there's some conclusions you
00:10:53.200 could just draw like what is a man and what is a woman fact so i leave do you do you lebron james
00:11:00.000 i'm not i'm not i'm not the governing body nor the experts on that so i would leave it on those who
00:11:04.800 actually have that expertise okay okay thank you for stopping appreciate it you know i was just
