00:00:00.000 So first story today. So as you guys know, X, formerly known as Twitter, is owned by Elon Musk.
00:00:06.280 And Elon Musk wants X to be a free speech platform. Unfortunately, there are people in
00:00:13.620 power and control that are trying to label Elon as anti-Semitic by doing this. Elon believes that
00:00:21.380 it should be a free speech platform other than calling to violence. What has it been like?
00:00:26.380 I think you've owned X for a year now. A recipe for trouble, I suppose, or contention.
00:00:31.480 What was it ultimately that led you to make the decision to do it?
00:00:35.040 I mean, this is going to sound somewhat melodramatic, but I was worried about that it was
00:00:40.360 having a corrosive effect on civilization. Old Twitter was fundamentally controlled by the far
00:00:46.300 left. Everything seems wrong to you that is not far left. And so they naturally oppressed
00:00:53.180 anything that didn't agree with their views. That's why I say that it was an accidental
00:00:59.680 far left information weapon. I mean, the whole point of free speech, the only free speech is
00:01:04.620 only relevant. The First Amendment is only relevant if you allow people you don't like to say things
00:01:12.120 you don't like. Because if you like it, you don't need a First Amendment. So the whole point
00:01:18.180 of free speech is that, frankly, even people you hate say things you hate. Because if they
00:01:25.100 can say, if people you hate can say things that you hate, that means that they can't stop you
00:01:30.520 from saying what you want to say. However, a couple of months ago, a lot of advertisers
00:01:34.800 pulled out of X and also they started labeling Elon as anti-Semitic. Elon Musk is actually filing
00:01:42.320 a lawsuit, says the split second court opens on Monday. X Corp will be filing a thermonuclear
00:01:49.800 lawsuit against Media Matters and all of those who colluded in this fraudulent attack on our company.
00:01:56.020 So Elon tweeted this picture. He said, this week, Media Matters for America posted a story that
00:02:00.980 completely misrepresented the real user experience on X in an attempt to undermine freedom of speech
00:02:06.940 and mislead advertisers. Above everything, including profit, X works to protect the public's right to
00:02:13.640 free speech. But for speech to be truly free, we must also have freedom to hear and see things that
00:02:19.280 people may consider objectionable. We believe that everyone has the right to make up their own minds
00:02:24.980 about what to read, watch, or listen to because that's the power of freedom of speech. Despite our
00:02:30.400 clear and consistent position, X has seen a number of attacks from activist groups like Media Matters
00:02:36.440 and legacy media outlets who speak to undermine freedom of expression on our platform because
00:02:41.800 they perceive it as a threat to their ideological narrative and those of financial supporters.
00:02:47.660 These groups try to use their influence to attack revenue streams by deciding advertisers on X.
00:02:54.300 Okay, so here are the facts on Media Matters research. To manipulate the public and advertisers,
00:02:59.980 Media Matters created an alternative account and curated the posts and advertising appearing on
00:03:06.320 the account's timeline to misinform advertisers about the placement of their posts. These contrived
00:03:12.760 experiences could be applied on any platform. Once they curated their feed, they repeatedly refreshed
00:03:18.120 their timelines to find rare instances of ads serving next to the content they chose to follow.
00:03:23.900 Our logs indicate that they forced a scenario resulting in 13 times the number of ads served compared to the
00:03:30.100 median ads served to an X user. Of these 5.5 billion ad impressions on X that day, less than 50 total ad
00:03:37.380 impressions were served against all of the organic content featured in the Media Matters article. For one brand
00:03:43.140 showcased in the article, one of its ads ran adjacent to a post two times and that ad was seen in the setting
00:03:50.620 by only two users, one of which was the author of Media Matters article. For another brand showcased in the
00:03:57.340 article, two of its ads served adjacent to two posts three times and that ad was only seen in that setting
00:04:03.740 by one user, the author of Media Matters article. Media Matters article also highlights nine posts they
00:04:09.740 believe should not be allowed on X. Upon evaluation, only one of the nine organic posts featured in the article
00:04:16.300 violated our content policies and we've taken action on it under our freedom of speech, not reach
00:04:23.020 enforcement approach. Here's a summary on this all. X will protect the public's right to freedom of
00:04:28.960 expression. Everyone has a choice on X and data wins over allegation. As we've seen in some parts of
00:04:35.840 the world, when free expression is taken away, it's very dangerous and hard to get back. That's why the
00:04:40.820 people who came before us fought so hard to protect it. Without freedom of speech, we lose the checks and
00:04:46.200 balances critical to a thriving democracy. We must defend our individual rights as if our lives and
00:04:52.900 flourishing to society depend on it. Stand with X to protect freedom of speech. So, Andrew Tate saw this.
00:05:00.380 Talk about a guy that puts his money where his mouth is. So many times the media wants to demonize
00:05:05.980 the Tate brothers and say that they are these human traffickers who hate women, misogynists. Andrew Tate put
00:05:12.900 his money where his mouth is. He said, I will advertise X on X. I will literally promote your own platform
00:05:18.660 on this platform. A million U.S. dollars a month. You don't need other advertisers. Simply let me know
00:05:25.300 where to pay. Elon Musk. Seth Dillon also followed this trend. He said they attack Musk because they
00:05:32.160 hate freedom and they hate freedom because it threatens their power to control the narrative. It's really that
00:05:37.000 simple. As others are pulling their ad to punish Musk for the crime of letting people speak freely,
00:05:42.160 the B is committed to spending more. Today, I'm pledging $250,000 towards a new ad campaign on X.
00:05:49.780 It's not a lot compared to the budgets of the anti-free speech bullies, but it's something.
00:05:54.600 And hopefully it will be multiplied by the others that join us. Tim Poole. And I want to tell you
00:05:59.660 guys a story about Tim Poole. This guy is such a nice person. He really is the type of guy to put his
00:06:06.560 money where his mouth is. When I was doing interviews for my documentary that's coming out on divorce,
00:06:11.500 I interviewed a guy whose ex was trying to make his son into a daughter and raise his kid as
00:06:18.260 non-binary. During this interview, I found out that Tim Poole actually donated $10,000 to this guy.
00:06:24.700 Tim Poole didn't even advertise it publicly. He didn't even tell anyone he did it. He just
00:06:29.280 literally donated his money to this guy without telling anyone. And so I wasn't really surprised
00:06:34.720 when I saw that TimCast is actually officially joining Seth Dillon and the Babylon Bee in their
00:06:40.300 effort to support X and their Musk efforts. TimCast.com will commit $250,000 towards ad buys
00:06:47.240 on X over the next couple of months. I think this is awesome. I think we need advertisers that are
00:06:53.680 funded by the people. You know, so many times people will try to control the narrative and attack freedom
00:06:59.240 of speech. And my generation has found out that pretty much everything they've told us has been
00:07:03.740 a lie. The food pyramid, the food pyramid was a lie. Dating and relationship advice was a lie.
00:07:08.880 Almost everything that they tell us, the Hodge twins, basically twin brothers that are conservative
00:07:14.580 comedian commentators that we need more of this. Tracy Beans says, Elon Musk is realizing what we've
00:07:21.560 all known. If you threaten the ideological worldview of the left, they invent ways to remove you from the
00:07:26.960 equation. I'm excited to travel the journey of this lawsuit as media matters is merely a shell for a
00:07:32.200 much bigger organizational tyranny. Gab.com says they've been doing this for years. They did it to
00:07:37.780 us repeatedly too. They purposely seek out this content and then paint the picture to advertisers
00:07:43.900 and infrastructure providers that this is what the majority of the content platforms look like when in
00:07:49.500 reality, it's a handful of accounts out of millions. It's time to turn the tables, praying for your
00:07:53.900 success in this pursuit. And, you know, guys, with being demonetized recently, and a lot of people
00:08:00.940 think that I was demonetized for things that I was not demonetized for. I was demonetized because I was
00:08:07.220 unfairly targeted. Somebody send hundreds of bots accounts to flag a bunch of my videos and they
00:08:13.900 demonetized me over hate speech. Yet I still don't know what I said that was deemed hate speech. I'm still
00:08:20.800 waiting for YouTube to get back to me. Hate speech is so broad. How do you avoid this? And the problem
00:08:27.140 is what they'll do is they will look for a 60-second soundbite out of hundreds and hundreds of hours of
00:08:34.720 your content in order to paint you as something that you are not. And that's the problem. It becomes
00:08:40.880 a clip off. Who can get the most damning clip? And oftentimes, I'll give you an example. When you hear
00:08:46.680 my opinion that women shouldn't vote, it sounds crazy. It might even sound sexist. But when I point
00:08:52.480 out that women are the minority of the ones that pay taxes, they're the majority on benefits, they
00:08:58.240 respond more emotionally to propaganda, and they really vote in policies that are destructive for
00:09:05.660 society. And I even make a caveat that if a woman is a net tax payer, fine, she could vote. That if she
00:09:12.000 has no debt, fine. If she's in the military, fine. But until women do the same thing that men do, I
00:09:17.960 don't think we should get equal rights. But what they'll do is they'll take a 60-second clip of me
00:09:22.700 saying women shouldn't vote without the full explanation and then try to paint me as me saying
00:09:29.020 something I'm not. And it's really encouraging to see people fight back against this cancel culture.
00:09:34.280 Guys, in some companies, they have hundreds of people that work for them. Some channels have
00:09:38.440 hundreds of people. That's 100 mouths to feed. 100 people that rely on a company. And when you
00:09:44.760 demonetize someone, you know, there's people that have been on platforms for 10, 20 years. And then
00:09:50.480 in one day, they can just be flagged for hate speech and taken off the face of the earth forever.
00:09:57.600 I've even interviewed people that have lost bank account over saying words people did not like.
00:10:03.000 And I think this is wrong. I think we need to take a stand against freedom of speech. I think we need
00:10:09.740 to take a stand against companies that are against freedom of speech. Every American should have the
00:10:16.280 right to talk freely.
