JustPearlyThings - She COULD NOT See The TRUTH In THIS

00:00:00.000 can we talk about the abuse thing okay because the other thing is women will never talk about 1.00

00:00:05.760 them hitting the guy first how many they said there's a lady here in the uk that she worked 1.00

00:00:11.680 at women's shelters like and she said 80 of the time the women were equally if not more abusive 0.51

00:00:18.160 than the men yep but they'll only talk about the man's part in it why why is that because men are

00:00:24.800 doubly more likely to commit violent crimes like that's the step against all the men i'm not going

00:00:32.160 to say anything i can't but that's a fact like men are doubly more likely they're also they're also

00:00:38.480 more likely to be the victim of violent crimes when it comes to mutual when it comes to abusive

00:00:44.640 relationships more likely than not they're hitting each other no i'm gonna jump in straight both of

00:00:50.480 them and jump in so mind you i like it's publicly knowledge that i was previously in abusive

00:00:55.600 relationship so for you to automatically state that you know for me there wasn't any physical violence

00:01:01.360 but abuse i feel like we have to openly since we have this platform discuss that there's very many

00:01:06.000 different types of abuse there's emotional there's coercive control financially very different types

00:01:11.440 it is a gendered crime women are far more likely to experience abuse than men will if we're speaking 0.98

00:01:16.880 about violence out on the streets of course that's completely different women are not out fighting 0.98

00:01:20.640 and knifing each other down but in the home women especially in the pandemic it has increased and

00:01:27.280 it's like 70 right yeah one-sided one-sided most abusive relationships are mutual meaning

00:01:35.360 they're usually hitting each other when it comes to one-sided abuse it's more likely that the woman's 1.00

00:01:39.200 hitting the man and he's not retaliated and often it goes unreported because there are cases

00:01:43.360 where they even call the police on a woman and they'll still arrest the man but where have you

00:01:47.120 got your statistics from that's my question to you because they go over it on twitter cassie no it's

00:01:52.880 not twitter it's cassie jay has a whole documentary that goes over it that's that's not a fact

00:01:57.200 that's just a documentary she pulls up the studies in it that's fine subjective study 0.97

00:02:01.920 you get it's not a well but i want to weigh in can we get the national stats can we get the

00:02:06.400 i want to speak on this topic completely differently and honestly i used to have a similar like view i always

00:02:12.400 thought women were like more likely to be victims of that but i just had woman after woman after 0.99

00:02:16.000 woman come on my show if you're being abused why wouldn't you go to the police that's anecdotal 0.99

00:02:20.080 evidence i mean and that's it's also victim blaming no it's not it's that's definitely victim blaming

00:02:24.960 also there's a lot of hitting just like in life and i feel like you know these snowflakes

00:02:36.160 but it's true but it's true we live in the real world and i feel like there was a lot more that

00:02:42.240 kind of like that went on a hundred years ago and you know people just kind of got along these days 0.79

00:02:49.200 you get me too if like a girl gets her ass grabbed at a picture you know it's like you're in a picture 0.99

00:02:55.440 and a guy grabs her butt and it's like i was raped like i am a victim of rape it's like oh right yeah 1.00

00:03:04.320 they were great they did yeah and that's not grape that's just a little grab you know probably 0.99

00:03:12.160 inappropriate uncomfortable is that really something to write home about i don't think so

00:03:17.600 and i also think that in like relationships it gets heated sometimes now it's one thing if someone's

00:03:23.440 getting pummeled to the floor and you know it's really serious but if there's a little slapping

00:03:28.240 around or there's a little bickering maybe it gets a little uh hey i'm gonna insult you and back around

00:03:35.120 i don't know are we really gonna we're gonna split apart the marriage over that i think it's got to

00:03:40.160 be pretty extreme to me i think there's levels to it and it doesn't make sense if someone's punched if

00:03:45.440 sterling comes over and punches me in the face i'm calling the cops like why i don't i don't understand

00:03:50.640 all these girls that come forward they're saying oh i was abused it was horrible this this and that's

00:03:53.840 you know i'm probably not gonna i don't think you need to end the marriage over over do i do i think

00:04:10.480 you need to end the marriage over one slap no but how many how many i mean within what time frame you

00:04:19.120 know if you have 10 slaps 10 slaps in a week that's a lot imagine just checking it every week

00:04:28.000 this week two slaps this yeah i don't i don't think i don't think but this goes back to what i was

00:04:33.680 saying earlier it's always like the worst case scenario but i think like we're going back to the

00:04:39.200 um everyone can call the police i just don't think it's that easy i just think if you're going

00:04:44.320 to come on a podcast and say that you were abused like i hope you have a police report to back it

00:04:48.400 up because otherwise that's definition of care i i i yeah yeah i don't know you i don't know your

00:04:53.440 life for sure i'm just saying like in that case i don't think it's easy to say you know if i get

00:04:58.960 punched i can call the police when maybe that person i haven't been physically abused but if that

00:05:04.160 person's threatening me my child my my life my i just don't think it's that easy to say i just think

00:05:10.400 abuse as a whole is not an easy conversation i would more so want to go i understand but before you get

00:05:16.880 the chance to call to that police how do you know that your life can't be taken or there's so much

00:05:20.880 manipulation and it's certainly as soon as i was in a safe situation i know i i understand but

00:05:27.120 sometimes the did the police do everything to guard you did the police have some 24 hours

00:05:32.000 surveillance on y'all don't have guns here so it's better yeah that's the problem there's a whole lot

00:05:36.000 that's that's the problem it's better than air no but what my thing is my issue is when women 1.00

00:05:41.920 come forward and say they were abused and they have no evidence to back it up and they can defame

00:05:46.560 a man and assassinate his character well where people know who you dated and you have no evidence

00:05:51.760 that it happened so then you get girls coming on the show there's no there's no proof of it no

00:05:57.040 defamation and as a whole is i think that could go both ways like if it's a guy saying that about

00:06:01.840 another guy yeah it's not a gender thing and yeah but guys don't do that in general they probably do 0.99

00:06:06.720 they probably do slam each other this motherfucker they don't they don't come on here and do that i've 1.00

00:06:12.160 done the show for a year but i'm saying i i talk to people on the street who talks to more people than 0.99

00:06:16.480 me i don't think we should we should victim blame or like not believe like women when it comes to 0.99

00:06:32.560 situations like this but one thing pearl said that was actually really really um important is if um

00:06:39.280 i'm with my partner and we've had a fight why am i gonna go report it as an abuse

00:06:45.360 should be reported as a fight that's one thing that like a lot of women get away with as well 1.00

00:06:50.000 if it's a fight it's a fight and that's when they're taking the reports now and they're now

00:06:55.040 realizing actually so did you hit him back and then now they're stuttering i hate that in women 1.00

00:06:59.920 because firstly your story you just know already you being a woman you got that upper hand so that's

00:07:05.280 why you went forward and reported it as an abuse from the get-go that's the that pisses me off 0.74

00:07:11.040 go and say we had a fight yeah and then tell them a story so it's for the it's the police the police

00:07:16.560 job to decide exactly what's going to be done you know with the evidence and the proof and everything

00:07:20.960 but most times they get back together so because there are women who will absolutely

00:07:25.120 go to a go to the police or whatever and report their boyfriend or whatever for abuse

00:07:29.200 when it was a fire

00:07:33.760 purely out of spite yeah purely because and it is it is sickness it is sickness twisted but they do it

00:07:37.520 because they know they can do it and they know they can get away with it because there's zero

00:07:40.800 repercussion it's not a lot it's um come on sterling it's probably a lot more than you think

00:07:45.440 no i've probably a lot i mean i would not try there's going to be no way to measure that

00:07:50.720 statistically you can't because um yeah there is because it's based on evidence yeah but you're

00:07:54.080 not going to know who's like how are you going to know how many women went and lied because it's 1.00

00:07:57.760 based on evidence is there anyone and didn't and the woman decided because women decide not to 0.98

00:08:01.200 prosecute all the time as many of you know i was just banned on tick tock and we are demonetized on a

00:08:08.560 daily basis on this platform if you want to help please consider sending a super thanks below every
