Summary

In this episode, I sit down with my good friend, Chelsea, to talk about why women don t need a man and why they should. Chelsea and I have been dating since high school and have been together ever since. She has been in the tech industry for over 20 years and is one of the most opinionated people I know. She is a force to be reckoned with in the industry and I am so excited to have her on the show.

00:00:00.000 So, when you talk to women, this is what I tell them, they come up with this whole thing,
00:00:06.700 men cheat, men cheat.
00:00:07.700 I say, would you rather have a high-value man cheat or a broke man cheat?
00:00:11.380 Well, come on, we all know the answer to that one.
00:00:14.760 Right.
00:00:15.760 So, I was with my boyfriend, he was broke and he cheated, well why'd you go with a broke
00:00:18.420 guy?
00:00:19.420 Because most of them can't qualify, right?
00:00:21.940 That's why they say that they don't need a man, well they don't qualify to have that
00:00:24.640 man.
00:00:25.640 Right.
00:00:26.640 Right.
00:00:27.640 Women say they don't need a man, but they have OnlyFans, they need a lot of men.
00:00:30.760 Right.
00:00:31.760 That's what's paying their bills.
00:00:32.760 Yeah.
00:00:33.760 Their car, everything they do is related to a man.
00:00:36.300 So, when women say they don't need a man, I don't get it.
00:00:38.260 Well, and we always, like we need men to run society, like if all the jobs that women did
00:00:42.700 like disappeared tomorrow, society would stop.
00:00:45.700 A hundred percent.
00:00:46.700 Like the power line, the internet, building, building.
00:00:50.740 How many women you see on construction sites actually doing things?
00:00:54.300 I'm not talking about with their whiteboard or whatever, writing things on it.
00:00:58.540 My whole neighborhood that was built, they started working, building a neighborhood I
00:01:02.300 moved into.
00:01:03.300 Brand new home, October 2020, I put the money down.
00:01:05.760 It was all desert.
00:01:06.760 I didn't even fly out here to look at it.
00:01:07.760 They built the whole neighborhood.
00:01:08.760 It just finished last December, okay?
00:01:11.420 The whole time, I never saw one woman, at all.
00:01:16.420 No.
00:01:17.420 All I saw was Modellos and Hispanic music, the whole time.
00:01:21.420 I joke with my girlfriend, she's Mexican, you know, your cousins are out there, right?
00:01:24.840 We joke with each other, right?
00:01:25.660 Yeah.
00:01:26.660 But I didn't see one woman.
00:01:27.660 And this whole, you know, STEM, you know, science, technology, engineering, mathematic
00:01:31.800 jobs that most men take, women don't take those jobs.
00:01:34.100 Yeah, we don't want to do the hardest jobs in society.
00:01:37.100 And I would argue they're harder.
00:01:38.100 A lot of women will be like, oh, our jobs are equally as hard.
00:01:41.600 I'm like, is it really harder for me to talk into a microphone than it is to build a building?
00:01:45.660 I don't want to do that work.
00:01:49.080 She said it was a compliment.
00:01:51.400 Much love from baby.
00:01:52.400 Yeah, I know.
00:01:53.400 Sorry, Chelsea.
00:01:54.400 So, the other thing, 20 plus years in the tech industry.
00:01:58.360 I work with HR.
00:01:59.360 Okay.
00:02:00.360 I've never once recruited a top level woman that made less than a man, ever.
00:02:06.600 In fact, a lot of the women I recruited that were in the VPC level roles made more than
00:02:11.760 some of the guys.
00:02:13.340 So, when this whole thing about equality with income, it's like, first of all, men work
00:02:18.080 more hours than women generally.
00:02:19.720 And most of the time, they take the jobs that women don't want.
00:02:22.260 Well, and the other narrative they have is that younger women are out-earning men.
00:02:26.380 But I think it's because of our beauty.
00:02:28.580 100%.
00:02:28.940 Yeah, so I think they're out-earning men.
00:02:30.680 100%.
00:02:31.080 In sales, administrative, whatever it is, like front-facing roles.
00:02:34.600 And so, they think, oh, I'm more competent than this guy.
00:02:37.200 But you're not more competent.
00:02:38.380 Like, you just have beauty.
00:02:40.160 It's pretty privileged.
00:02:40.920 Yeah, it's pretty privileged.
00:02:41.840 And you don't wait in lines.
00:02:43.360 You get the advantage.
00:02:44.520 And that's the whole thing.
00:02:46.040 And to my point, you know, my girl with her Instagram, it's like, look, if I'm on there,
00:02:52.540 people are going to come after me.
00:02:53.700 You're building a brand.
00:02:54.440 You're trying to compete.
00:02:55.320 At the same time, you're going to lose followers.
00:02:57.380 I don't worry about that.
00:02:59.040 At my level, I do not worry about that.
00:03:00.800 I told her, I choose to be with you.
00:03:02.640 If there's chaos and craziness, I don't need it, right?
00:03:08.200 But she's one of the best people I've been with.
00:03:10.360 I'm blessed to have her.
00:03:11.580 I'm happy.
00:03:12.600 I have no complaints.
00:03:14.340 So, you know, now we've got to get Pearl.
00:03:17.120 I've got a 1-800 number to marry Pearl, right?
00:03:20.660 But no, we're going to get you out here.
00:03:22.740 I think Vegas is a play for you.
00:03:25.020 Yeah?
00:03:25.480 Yeah.
00:03:26.000 What are the guys like out here?
00:03:28.260 Well, okay.
00:03:29.360 Okay.
00:03:29.860 There you go.
00:03:30.280 So, there's the haves and have-nots.
00:03:32.440 Now, here's the thing.
00:03:33.540 I tell single men, I say, don't date women in Vegas.
00:03:36.220 Okay.
00:03:36.760 But there's people in Vegas that aren't part of the industry.
00:03:40.240 The industry folks.
00:03:41.200 Okay.
00:03:41.700 The industry people, right?
00:03:43.240 That work in the industry.
00:03:44.860 That work at the casinos, the nightclubs, the bottle service,
00:03:48.800 the, you know, going to EDC, the electronic daisy concert, right?
00:03:53.880 Right.
00:03:54.200 You know, those people, I would say avoid.
00:03:57.500 Okay.
00:03:57.980 Because they're in the scene.
00:03:59.100 Okay.
00:03:59.380 They go for the shiny objects.
00:04:01.940 But you have the people that move from California.
00:04:04.160 They move from other cities.
00:04:05.140 They're in the suburbs.
00:04:06.380 My husband, you know, he's in the hospitality industry.
00:04:10.360 He's a manager of the Wynn Hotel.
00:04:12.620 Yeah.
00:04:13.020 Right?
00:04:13.400 And they live out in the suburbs.
00:04:14.760 And they do the soccer mom stuff.
00:04:16.520 They go to church, do whatever.
00:04:17.960 There's people, but for, here's what I'll say.
00:04:21.580 For women, it's kind of a catch-22.
00:04:24.060 Men, I say date and see markets.
00:04:27.260 Milwaukee's a sea market.
00:04:28.200 You get a lot of chats.
00:04:30.120 Yeah.
00:04:30.480 What is it?
00:04:30.940 Pearl, can we skip the first date and just get married?
00:04:33.700 I make one of the 50K.
00:04:35.160 Wow.
00:04:35.960 Sounds like my dream guy.
00:04:39.000 Wait, Mark, how tall are you is the question?
00:04:41.120 He says he's 5'2".
00:04:42.440 No, I'm just kidding.
00:04:43.500 So, I tell men to go date.
00:04:47.460 So, you were in Milwaukee.
00:04:48.480 Yeah.
00:04:48.920 That's a sea market.
00:04:50.580 That's a small place.
00:04:51.780 Okay.
00:04:52.120 It's not big like LA, San Francisco, New York.
00:04:55.440 Right.
00:04:56.020 Chicago, Seattle.
00:04:58.360 Those are A markets.
00:04:59.800 People are generally, I would say, used and abused.
00:05:04.680 They're living in a different world.
00:05:06.500 Okay.
00:05:07.000 You go to, like, Tucson, where I met her.
00:05:10.840 Nothing's happening in Tucson.
00:05:12.200 Okay.
00:05:12.780 Right?
00:05:13.160 U of A is there, University of Arizona, but it's, like, you have that, the military, and
00:05:17.580 then you have Lockheed Martin.
00:05:18.720 That's it.
00:05:19.200 Okay.
00:05:19.380 Nobody moves to Tucson.
00:05:21.440 They move out.
00:05:22.560 Are you with me?
00:05:23.120 Okay.
00:05:23.580 Yeah.
00:05:23.840 So, small town.
00:05:25.340 They're not corrupt.
00:05:26.820 Right?
00:05:27.340 You're a small town girl, Fair.
00:05:29.700 You were in Chicago.
00:05:30.540 What part of Chicago were you from?
00:05:31.920 Not, it was, like, 45 minutes from Chicago.
00:05:34.420 Do you know?
00:05:35.180 I don't want to say.
00:05:35.760 I'll say, um.
00:05:36.540 Don't say, but is it a smaller town?
00:05:38.440 I'll say, I'll say the general.
00:05:39.760 Do you know Marengo area?
00:05:41.720 It wasn't, like, a smaller.
00:05:43.900 It was a suburb.
00:05:45.220 Yeah, suburb.
00:05:46.120 Okay.
00:05:46.460 Yeah.
00:05:46.860 So, kind of a small town.
00:05:48.620 Yeah.
00:05:49.060 Okay.
00:05:49.620 Small town girl.
00:05:50.540 Perfect example.
00:05:51.240 But you didn't get corrupted.
00:05:52.760 Right?
00:05:53.340 So, you're wifey material.
00:05:56.160 I believe that you're a suitable person for the right man.
00:05:59.640 But you're not going to be corrupt because of what you believe in.
00:06:02.420 You have a foundation.
00:06:03.440 You do the podcast.
00:06:05.040 You live the life.
00:06:06.680 You preach it.
00:06:07.580 Right?
00:06:07.880 You speak it into existence.
00:06:09.640 Now, imagine if you didn't have that foundation and you moved to Vegas.
00:06:12.680 You moved to L.A.
00:06:14.040 Yeah, you'd be nuts.
00:06:15.800 Then you'd have an OnlyFans.
00:06:17.400 Right.
00:06:17.900 On the polls.
00:06:18.880 Yeah.
00:06:19.060 You do soft porn.
00:06:21.640 You think everything was...
00:06:22.700 Are you with me?
00:06:23.280 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:06:23.900 So, for guys, for you, being here is rare.
00:06:27.820 Really?
00:06:28.780 Well, yeah.
00:06:29.160 Because women like you are married here.
00:06:31.740 Oh, I see.
00:06:32.740 Because all the girls are, like, crazy here.
00:06:35.540 Yeah.
00:06:35.940 Okay.
00:06:36.260 They've been on my podcast.
00:06:37.900 They said, well, I am crazy.
00:06:39.220 They'll tell you that.
00:06:40.780 They'll tell you that.
00:06:41.740 Yeah.
00:06:41.800 Right?
00:06:42.240 Yeah.
00:06:42.360 So, you know, anyways.
00:06:44.140 Yeah.
00:06:44.980 You know, okay.
00:06:46.180 The last part.
00:06:46.940 I don't want to keep you all day.
00:06:48.080 I know you got stuff to do.
00:06:48.900 I mean, she's on a tour here.
00:06:50.580 She's on a time limit.
00:06:51.580 She's high maintenance, high value.
00:06:55.540 See what you got going.
00:06:58.580 He's a modern producer.
00:06:59.740 You missed two Super Chats, by the way.
00:07:01.500 Oh, what were they?
00:07:02.060 It was Raymond and Pearl, you and Blessing are incredible.
00:07:09.020 Yeah.
00:07:09.140 Put it up on the screen.
00:07:13.740 Thank you, Raymond.
00:07:14.580 I appreciate that.
00:07:15.440 And what's the other one?
00:07:17.300 Yeah.
00:07:17.520 We got that.
00:07:18.720 Yeah.
00:07:19.000 Okay.
00:07:19.420 Okay.
00:07:19.820 Chelsea, thank you.
00:07:21.980 What were you saying?
00:07:24.140 I don't know.
00:07:24.620 Okay.
00:07:24.980 If you weren't podcasting, what would you do for a living?
00:07:28.260 Sing.
00:07:29.240 Are you a singer?
00:07:30.960 Okay.
00:07:31.800 Yeah.
00:07:32.060 Or volleyball.
00:07:33.300 I'm not going to put you on the spot.
00:07:35.260 Blessing is like, no, no, no, no, no.
