00:00:00.560 what's up guys welcome to my coffee talks um today i'm trying to eliminate liquid calories completely
00:00:08.720 pretty unsuccessfully uh so far anyone that knows me or that's like been following me for a few
00:00:15.200 years knows i started a few years ago with these like giant sugar coffees and i've slowly gotten
00:00:20.560 better and better but i just love liquid calories it's like the hardest thing for me to get rid of
00:00:26.560 But today, water. Okay, enough about me. So, all right, a couple updates. First of all, I promised everybody that supported me on my Audacity network that you guys would get free lifetime access to my website. I do apologize. That's been delayed a little bit. We had to redo the app. Long story, not going to get into it.
00:00:49.720 um the new app or the new website is coming out in the next week week and a half and all the people
00:00:58.680 um that ever were on my old site you guys get free lifetime access so um yeah just as a thank
00:01:05.220 you for supporting me if you want to donate there is a donate button but there's nothing
00:01:08.640 um so look for that email we're going to email you directly um I mean I get I guess if you go
00:01:15.160 buy the website now, you can still get into the lifetime thing. Uh, but we're going to stop the
00:01:22.060 billing on the old site and then put everyone for free on the new one. Okay. Uh, second of all,
00:01:28.100 we're doing clippers channels. Um, so if anyone wants to be a clipper for the channel, um,
00:01:35.180 you can, uh, email Doug at the audacity network.com. That's Doug at the audacity network.com.
00:01:42.560 He is launching the Clippers program, which we do an ad split, and we can train you on how to clip.
00:01:48.840 So if you have a computer and you want to learn how to edit, we can train you.
00:01:53.240 And yeah, there's people that have made a really good amount of money for me doing a Clips channel.
00:01:58.620 There's one guy in Nigeria, and he's been clipping for me for like five years.
00:02:03.720 So it can be a good gig.
00:02:06.940 And then some people learn to edit, and then they become full-time editors.
00:02:10.440 So you never know.
00:02:11.080 Anyways. Okay. Next, I'm going to talk about the Orthodox Church fiasco. So I already told you guys the back and forth on Twitter where I went to the church with my sign. At first, I think they thought I was trying to be mean to them or what. I don't know. Who cares? There was a misunderstanding.
00:02:31.240 but I went to the orthodox church and we squashed the beef and I had a really interesting conversation
00:02:37.820 with the pastor there deacon look for anyone that's been watching my channel I know we have
00:02:42.760 some new viewers I am bad with names it is like pronunciation and names are just
00:02:49.260 my brain I don't know what it is that part of my brain doesn't work so
00:02:54.080 if I forget the official title of things um we can't all be great at everything you know what I
00:03:00.760 mean okay so um and it was a really interesting conversation um I got to learn a lot about the
00:03:10.340 Orthodox Church and their beliefs I don't want to talk too much about my thoughts on the conversation
00:03:16.200 because I want to let it come out um I'll say this I do think that there's still a little bit
00:03:23.660 of a gynocentric leaning um even in very traditional um Latin Orthodox um and this
00:03:30.040 isn't to make any judgment on a religion but at the end of the day people are people and me knowing 1.00
00:03:36.240 all the information I know about how women are evil I struggle with wanting to control things 1.00
00:03:41.920 right um women were very like okay I'll give you an example not the orthodox church but I went to 1.00
00:03:48.420 a catholic church with my sign and um the church people were like standing in front of my sign and 0.99
00:03:54.340 made it a big spectacle. And when this happened, not all of them, not all, but just a few,
00:03:59.820 the woman in me out of spite was like, I want to go back to this church every single week. 0.63
00:04:08.000 But this series isn't about Catholics. It's not about Orthodox. It's just about religious people
00:04:12.800 in general. I just felt like there was too many drunk people doing interviews. And I know there's
00:04:20.820 a group of like, I grew up in white America and there's a lot of people that don't go to the bars.
00:04:25.840 They don't drink. Um, they go to athletic events in the church. Um, I kind of identify with them.
00:04:34.020 I don't spend, I don't want to say I never go to bars, but it's not where I spend a lot of my time,
00:04:38.300 you know? Um, so, um, I'm doing these interviews and I think, I think it'll be a lot of fun. Um,
00:04:47.840 Um, next week, I don't want to say what religion, but I'm doing a very different religion.
00:04:54.640 Um, but so the interview we'd like to put out, um, there's two parts to the Orthodox
00:05:00.160 interview.
00:05:00.780 The first one is just me going to the church.
00:05:03.040 Um, that was before any beef was squashed or whatever.
00:05:06.180 So, um, any prerequisites, just know that's part one.
00:05:10.040 Part two is going to be Friday where I go to the church and I talk to the priest and
00:05:13.940 you guys are all welcome to, um, watch it. 0.86
00:05:16.880 The one thing I'll tell you about religious people, they think in a different way than me. 1.00
00:05:21.960 So sometimes my conversations with them, how do I put it, they go over my head and their head. 1.00
00:05:29.460 Because when I make a decision, your information has to make sense to me in real life.
00:05:36.840 Now, a lot of people have asked about my religious beliefs.
00:05:39.860 I do believe in God. 1.00
00:05:40.820 I lean towards Christianity, but I do think people are kind of full of shit with their 1.00
00:05:47.040 ego investments in a religion. 1.00
00:05:49.900 People want to be right really bad.
00:05:52.540 Like they just, and for me, it's very difficult to say I believe something when it would take
00:06:03.300 so much time to read all of the books, understand all of the historical context to the point
00:06:09.380 that I could give a definite answer. And I've seen people that have done way more research than me
00:06:15.740 come to completely different conclusions. It's the same way. I have to get to a certain
00:06:21.040 competence level. I do music and I'm learning music theory. And I think I have to get through
00:06:26.700 the major scales, the minor scale. I have to get through all this theory till I could come to a
00:06:31.800 definitive conclusion. I don't know what music's the best, what era, whatever, but I would really
00:06:36.740 have to study all the eras. I like to make decisions based on what's practical today,
00:06:41.900 not what I wish the world would be, not what the world was a hundred years ago. Because
00:06:46.640 what I've seen in media is people tend to say, oh, I'm right because here's history or because
00:06:52.280 here's Bible verse. But I'm like, guys, you know, there's people smarter than me or you or any of
00:06:57.960 the people arguing that have come to completely different conclusions. Why would I know all the
00:07:03.020 answers. Uh, you know, um, I don't know what I don't know, you know? Um, and I don't know if
00:07:11.940 I'll ever get to a point that I have time to read like every single, I got, I have a job. I find
00:07:17.140 that the people that have time to read every single book all the way through from cover to
00:07:21.240 cover, like don't have jobs. Um, and that's why I've noticed that a lot of like really moral men
00:07:27.500 that I know, and I've noticed this phenomenon, the most masculine, like moral men that I know,
00:07:32.160 and competent. They're not religious. No offense to the religious people, but I've just, I've
00:07:39.080 noticed a lot of high performing, like, and it's for two reasons. One, they don't like the 1.00
00:07:45.840 performative nature of religion, which I would say is across the board in all religions. People
00:07:51.400 are performative. People are people, right? No one's special. That's, that's really my series
00:07:56.580 is nobody's special. I'm not, no one's special. Anyways, continued.
00:08:07.260 But like, they don't have time to read through all this and think through all this. Like my dad,
00:08:13.260 he owned a really big software company. Imagine me being like, hey dad, why don't you spend years
00:08:18.960 of your life reading every Bible? He'd be like, are you unemployed? I don't have to, like, he's
00:08:26.200 too busy doing things. So, um, no offense to the people that have done that. I'm sure
00:08:31.080 some of you have jobs, but, uh, especially if they're young, like usually if they're
00:08:36.060 young, they're just not, well, like anyways, I feel like people are going to take that
00:08:46.300 the wrong way, even though I don't mean it that way, but whatever. Um, where was I going
00:08:53.260 with this. Oh, I forgot. Dang it. I don't know where I was going. Oh, okay. So basically when
00:09:09.060 you have a conversation, it's very difficult because they'll say, oh, well, society should
00:09:14.400 not have OnlyFans and we should have a nuclear family. I'm like, ninjas, we don't. We are cooked.
00:09:20.800 and they're like I'm like here's a statistic that says we're cooked let's go outside let me go into
00:09:26.260 the real world let's I'll put a camera out here show you cooked cooked more cooked even more
00:09:32.220 cooked the most cooked and then they're like well but God and I'm like well I'm not saying God isn't
00:09:38.520 going to save you maybe someday but there's no evidence it's going that way so when I make a
00:09:45.640 decision today I do have to go off of like reality and that's the problem they say well I'm right
00:09:51.400 because here's bible verse and I like to talk in the now in the what is true now and that's very
00:09:58.740 difficult for religious people because um a lot of them have like an ego investment and wanting
00:10:03.100 to be right and it's just not very practical you know and I think that's some of the I maybe got a 1.00
00:10:10.880 little frustrated in some of the interview where i'm like hey what are if this is happening in a
00:10:20.480 marriage like who who's right who's this and it's like well it depends and i'm like
00:10:25.640 not i don't know you know but you guys will see the
00:10:28.800 the crisscrossing it to decide for yourself
00:10:32.800 okay well
00:10:36.280 did you guys hear that my dog
00:10:43.620 it clicks so bad if anybody's ever fixed that let me know but anyways um another you know coffee
00:10:53.640 talk kind of kind of pointless but you know let me know what you think in the comments i just go
00:10:59.140 off the cuff i love you guys um this weekend i'm gonna try it without a sign i'm gonna try a little
00:11:05.100 different way of getting it the interviews and see how it goes like the video subscribe and I'll see
00:11:10.740 you next time
