00:00:00.000 We go to different churches asking about obedience and what they believe.
00:00:03.340 I'd love to hear you guys' take.
00:00:05.620 Get on the sidewalk.
00:00:06.640 Get off private property.
00:00:07.820 Okay.
00:00:08.320 Yeah, I can.
00:00:08.740 Get on the sidewalk.
00:00:09.520 Off private property now.
00:00:10.720 That's fine.
00:00:11.480 That's fine.
00:00:11.980 Now.
00:00:12.620 Okay, so it should be more of an equal partnership?
00:00:15.460 Absolutely.
00:00:16.680 One person can't stand alone.
00:00:18.780 It just seems like it would be difficult.
00:00:20.480 Well, it should be equal.
00:00:21.800 And it cannot be equal.
00:00:22.960 They need to work it out to make it equal.
00:00:24.860 All right, what's up, guys?
00:00:25.800 Today we're at a Serbian Orthodox Church,
00:00:28.120 trying to figure out the question about what they believe here. Should Christian women
00:00:32.160 obey their husbands? Yes, no, why or why not? But before we get started, make sure you guys fill 1.00
00:00:37.480 out the Google form in the description. We want to do events in your city, but you do have to
00:00:42.200 apply for security reasons. So make sure you fill out the Google form, like the video and let's get
00:00:47.220 started. Hello, ma'am. Would you mind telling me what you guys believe here about obedience? 0.96
00:00:52.340 Would you mind telling me what you guys believe here about obedience?
00:01:00.880 Okay, so I go to different churches every week and I just ask what they believe about if women should obey their husbands. 0.50
00:01:06.800 Yes, no, why or why not? No right or wrong answers.
00:01:09.800 Yes, but he should obey her also. They both are to be strong in this marriage.
00:01:14.820 Okay, so it should be more of an equal partnership?
00:01:17.320 Absolutely, absolutely. One person can't stand alone.
00:01:20.660 So, what happens when they disagree, though, and there's no middle ground?
00:01:24.680 Who should make the final say?
00:01:25.900 You need to get in your Bible and go to church.
00:01:27.800 Okay.
00:01:28.280 All right.
00:01:28.720 Thank you.
00:01:29.700 Do you have a second to tell me what you guys believe here?
00:01:34.540 How's it going?
00:01:38.580 You don't speak English?
00:01:40.900 Oh.
00:01:41.980 Are you the priest?
00:01:44.580 Busy.
00:01:45.320 Oh, he's busy?
00:01:46.160 Yes.
00:01:46.720 Okay.
00:01:47.060 If he has a second, could he come out?
00:01:48.940 Okay.
00:01:49.300 Maybe.
00:01:50.240 Come.
00:01:50.660 people. Okay. Okay. Do you have five minutes to tell me what you guys believe here? Hi.
00:01:58.600 We go to different churches asking about obedience and what they believe. I'd love to hear you
00:02:02.980 guys' take. Get on the sidewalk. Get off private property. Okay. Yeah, I can. Get on the sidewalk
00:02:08.120 off private property now. That's fine. Now. That's fine. Get over there. Okay. Jesus.
00:02:14.600 hello what's your name okay would you mind telling me what you guys believe here we just 0.64
00:02:25.480 go to different churches and ask i was just do you just really quick do you believe that women
00:02:35.340 should obey their husbands yes or no uh they should be equal equal okay so you guys have a
00:02:41.040 more egalitarian model there should be equal you know because we live by the new testament you know
00:02:46.000 and they should be they should be equal okay and then do you guys believe what if there's a
00:02:50.660 disagreement in the marriage who gets the final say when there's no compromise available well
00:02:56.080 i mean if people love each other they should always compromise right but do women compromise
00:03:01.740 yeah um well yeah do we yeah i guess that's been your experience that women compromise a lot
00:03:12.100 sometimes sometimes because sometimes i wonder when it's equal it just means the woman
00:03:17.620 is in charge because women don't compromise and men do but always as long as everybody stays humble
00:03:24.540 and has understandable uh understand for each other and if they love each other the marriage 0.77
00:03:30.200 should work but if it doesn't work you know it doesn't work then then better go separate ways
00:03:34.800 you know instead of arguing me okay well thank you so much for doing the interview just tell
00:03:39.100 them it's a it's we just want to know what people believe that's all thank you
00:03:42.980 are you sure yes oh the guy told me to leave no no i am the president oh okay oh thank you 0.98
00:03:55.540 And should a Christian woman obey... 0.99
00:03:57.580 Are you the priest here? 0.98
00:03:59.080 No, I'm the president.
00:04:00.220 Oh, okay.
00:04:01.520 I think they should obey each other, no?
00:04:03.340 So you think it should be equal?
00:04:04.800 It should be equal.
00:04:05.760 They need to love each other and obey each other. 0.99
00:04:07.720 That's why they get married. 0.60
00:04:09.560 So what happens if there's a disagreement and there's no compromise?
00:04:13.420 Who would have the final say?
00:04:14.680 They have the right to...
00:04:15.900 Final say, they have the right to separate, go each way.
00:04:20.020 No, but I'm saying, like, if they want to stay together.
00:04:22.220 And let's say, for example, parenting style.
00:04:24.760 so there's a man and a woman the man wants to parent the kids one way and the woman wants to
00:04:28.840 parent another who should have the final say they both need to make a decision i really that's a
00:04:34.660 hard uh answer because if it's not working out in the marriage or cannot take care of the kids
00:04:41.360 they need to separate otherwise they love each other and they're doing it for the family they
00:04:46.400 need to stay together and work it out right but i guess because my question is if there's nobody
00:04:52.640 that has a final say wouldn't it just lead to the unreasonable person like the person less likely to
00:04:58.160 compromise having the final say you see that yeah that's a very tough question like if there's no
00:05:04.200 but somebody has so your question is somebody who makes the final decision yeah you know
00:05:11.360 i i really i really couldn't understand uh um like i said if they cannot work it out they need
00:05:20.380 to just make it, they have to make it work, at least for the family. The final say, I don't
00:05:26.180 think it should be the man or the woman. It should be both of them, if they are married. 0.93
00:05:30.180 Well, I guess, because I kind of look at it like if I have a boss, right? It's very difficult if
00:05:35.580 every decision... Yeah, but boss, you are working for somebody, and he has the final say. You're
00:05:40.300 getting paid. Family is a whole different situation. Well, I guess you respect your boss.
00:05:44.220 Would you not respect your husband? Of course, you respect your wife and husband. They need to
00:05:48.760 respect each other right but i just wonder if it's a little bit difficult with when it's equal
00:05:53.520 because um it just seems like it would be difficult it should be equal and it cannot be
00:05:59.320 equal they need to work it out to make it equal okay if it just doesn't work then you just need
00:06:03.460 to go your separate ways okay do what's best for the kids okay you know working for a boss and
00:06:08.380 a family it's you know family is not it's not easy also there's a lot of challenges in this
00:06:13.700 world today but you have to make it work okay so your answer to the question would be they should
00:06:19.580 obey each other it should be absolutely okay what about you guys what do you think do you agree or
00:06:24.040 do you disagree i'm grateful you agree i'm okay and where are we allowed to stand you can stand
00:06:30.360 anywhere you're sure yeah okay somebody tells you something to sell them the president gave you
00:06:35.160 permission i'm sorry that's okay that's okay that's okay thank you guys yeah i don't want
00:06:39.180 so we went from getting kicked off to actually getting invited inside so we're going to do it
00:06:46.940 as respectfully as we can but we're going to go watch the service and then um yeah i'll tell you
00:06:52.280 guys what happens after so we might film a little bit inside but we're going to keep it as respectful
00:06:57.000 as possible so all right guys so i'm just filming this so in my car while we're waiting so i can
00:07:06.560 explain what happened so we're outside the church and at first we stand in the shade on the private
00:07:12.500 property and someone comes out I think we got it on camera they start yelling at us to go to public
00:07:16.660 property totally willing to do that we go onto the public sidewalk but then this other guy who
00:07:23.700 says he's the president says we can come back and we're fine so we're like yay we're doing our
00:07:27.520 little street interviews happy someone else comes in and says oh you can watch the service so we
00:07:32.660 come in and we're like watching the service it's a grand old day um and then my um producer is going
00:07:41.560 in and he's asking if he's allowed to film the service this is for a youtube video not trying
00:07:46.740 to be disrespectful then the first guy comes back and starts screaming at him um and he he was afraid
00:07:53.880 it was going to get physical so he ends up going outside um one guy is saying that we can go in
00:08:00.000 And one guy that's saying we can't, he's going to call the cops.
00:08:02.840 I don't know which to believe.
00:08:04.680 I don't know.
00:08:05.420 I don't, am I allowed on the public property?
00:08:07.360 Am I not allowed on the public property?
00:08:09.660 So the president said that we can come back and do an interview after.
00:08:15.180 I'm feeling gaslit because I don't know which one to do right now.
00:08:18.080 So they kind of gave us the answer.
00:08:22.060 The president said it's an egalitarian, meaning it's equal.
00:08:26.320 It's not in the natural order of God, which is what my belief would be.
00:08:30.520 All right, guys.
00:08:31.260 So a big shout out to my producer this video because we went in and he got chased and my
00:08:39.560 sign got taken.
00:08:40.660 I was a little confused because they invited us in, but I think there was a miscommunication.
00:08:46.960 The president did apologize after.
00:08:48.760 So but I do think my producer risked his life to get this sign today because he tried to
00:08:54.640 take it and throw it.
00:08:56.320 And I told him in the future, we can't afford another sign, so we can just get another.
00:09:01.440 But I think it's a little bit more beat up today, yeah, because of that, which it's all right.
00:09:07.900 But, you know, hold on.
00:09:12.300 Anyways, we're going to call it early.
00:09:14.680 There's a chance that I got the guy, the president's number.
00:09:17.440 There's a chance we come back this week and maybe do a more in-depth interview.
00:09:20.960 But that's what we got from the Serbian Orthodox.
00:09:23.660 uh please super chat to give my producer a raise in the live stream all right like the video guys
00:09:32.040 i'll see you next time
