Pearl - Women Getting HERPES and Posting It Online – NOT Their Fault, Of course

00:00:00.000 all right guys so it's my first time taking my meds for my hsv and i'm just talking about it

00:00:09.040 because i've been avoiding taking it because taking it makes it very real and i want to get

00:00:15.680 one thing clear um well first hsv is herpes i have hsv2 which is southern herpes i was given the meds

00:00:24.720 you know my first break after my first breakout and i never took them because it had gone away

00:00:31.440 i was really sick it was awful it was awful awful awful i would not wish that pain and sickness

00:00:38.640 on anybody but anyway i took i didn't take it so i saved it and i have it um and now it's about

00:00:47.760 two months later um two months into my diagnosis and i have my first breakout um and yeah so this 0.98

00:00:56.960 is what i mean women don't have consequences like someone will still wife her up or you know there'll 1.00

00:01:01.360 be some legal or whatever but women are addicted to terrible decisions and there are consequences 0.99

00:01:05.440 like stds um debt right um alcoholism drug addiction so women are addicted to terrible

00:01:13.200 choices it's like really small honestly and i part of me is like i could probably just wait it out

00:01:18.940 and it'll be okay um however however i could just not have any itchiness or pain or bump or anything

00:01:27.720 if i just take it or it could reduce it significantly um so i was just texting with

00:01:33.840 my sister and she just like reframed it for me and asked me like just is it like part of it that

00:01:40.000 it makes it more real um and yeah for sure um at first i was like well i don't know what if i have

00:01:46.820 side effects i'm gonna be out i'm gonna be at the gym but no i'm just afraid i'm just afraid of 0.95

00:01:50.600 taking it because then it's real and i choose to talk about it because i think it's fucked how

00:01:56.300 stigmatized it is there's a lot that goes along with it and it is not what people think all the

00:02:04.140 time and i think stigma is just really harmful and painful and i will say like when i first found

00:02:10.080 out that i had it i didn't care that i have that i have it like i don't care that i have herpes

00:02:17.080 i don't care she absolutely cares i don't know why you're putting it on social media it's treatable

00:02:23.480 it's not curable but it's treatable there's medication i don't have to give it to other

00:02:28.460 people especially if you know if they're informed um which goes which which leads me to how i got it

00:02:36.680 i was not informed i was not informed yeah was not disclosed to me yeah that's it i keep telling

00:02:43.700 you guys people lie nobody nobody nobody says when they get it so anyway i'm gonna take it 1.00

00:02:52.420 Fuck you, dude. Fuck you. Of course I can't open it. They're so big. Girl, why are you crying? 1.00

00:02:59.500 Do this offline. You need to call a friend or something. This is a mental illness.

00:03:03.880 Why are they so big? It's okay. This is harder than I thought it was going to be. Everything's fine. 0.99

00:03:10.660 Girl, what are you doing? Oh my god.

00:03:13.500 Anytime soon, but I was griped and...

00:03:18.340 Alright, I doubt it. You whored out. 1.00

00:03:20.120 often get asked how did you get the genital herpes this girl's doing better than the other 1.00

00:03:23.960 one that's what i mean would you be able to tell guys get the out of here and i want to share

00:03:28.840 mostly because i think that story can really help a lot of you out there who are dating

00:03:33.320 and don't want to get herpes or you have it and you're just trying to figure out what might have

00:03:37.320 happened so i there's two ways i could have gotten it and to this day i'll never know which one was

00:03:42.360 the thing that gave it to me but i'm going to share both when i was 23 um it was just a few

00:03:47.080 months after i had lost my virginity and i was dating someone from a dating app in new york city

00:03:52.120 and i got a horrible rash i had no idea what it was we had been using protection condoms don't

00:03:57.800 prevent herpes um and i i still i got something so i went in and i visually got diagnosed by the

00:04:04.840 nurse practitioner saying looks like you have herpes traumatizing horrible freaked out so

00:04:11.000 painful flash back to when i was in high school i was a senior and i got a pretty pretty bad

00:04:18.440 rash down there oh so she probably got it before the dude oh and by the way i got diagnosed with

00:04:23.320 herpes one genitally and the guy that i was with also ended up testing positive for it so both of

00:04:29.480 us tested positive both when i was 23 and neither of us knew that we had previously potentially had

00:04:35.720 it so we don't know who gave it to who okay then when i was in high school i had this experience

00:04:42.440 getting this horrible rash and went into the er because it was so so painful and i don't remember

00:04:47.960 if it felt exactly like my my that herpes outbreak but i just remember like excruciating pain and i

00:04:55.080 went in and they looked at it and said that it could potentially be herpes and mind you i actually

00:05:01.720 don't remember my mom was with me in this appointment because i was in a lot of pain

00:05:05.880 and she remembers it all and she told it to me later um but both of us knew that i wasn't

00:05:11.720 sexually active i was really honest with my parents had a good relationship i was waiting

00:05:15.400 until marriage at that point um at least when it came to intercourse but not to other things 0.89

00:05:21.160 and i had a serious that's what i was saying like women do oral so yeah oh so do i think she got it

00:05:28.280 from she might have already had it he had um so she might have spread it down there and i now

00:05:35.640 realize and of course i realized this you know before i started my herpes company that when i

00:05:39.800 was learning i realized he easily could have given it to me if he had cold sores as a you know at any

00:05:46.200 point in his life it wasn't something we ever had talked about so it could have been from that and

00:05:52.200 and that could have been my first experience. And because I didn't even think it was, I didn't do

00:05:57.920 anything to like, I didn't worry about it. I didn't, I wasn't all consumed with it because

00:06:02.640 I thought it was a misdiagnosis and, or my, you know, my mom and dad did too. And I just went on

00:06:08.340 and moved on with my life and I didn't get the other outbreak or the second outbreak. If that

00:06:15.040 was the first until that time that was pretty traumatizing, honestly, because the experience

00:06:21.640 on losing my virginity in general was traumatizing so it could have like re-triggered it but yeah 0.86

00:06:26.800 that's my story and it's complicated but yeah so when women take l's again this is why feminism 0.75

00:06:32.160 is going to eat itself because we just put the l's on the internet um here's another one part 1.00

00:06:36.160 two of what god has saved me from i wasn't going to do two videos on hsb2 i got so many dms gonna

00:06:42.640 be what i wish someone would have told me perspective and a backstory i basically have

00:06:46.660 had one outbreak like my whole life 24 now my last outbreak was like five years ago don't

00:06:51.380 really deal with it i don't really take medication for it like i don't deal with outbreaks and

00:06:55.700 primarily because it completely changed my diet really don't eat processed food make every single

00:07:00.840 meal at home i don't smoke i don't drink like people that really struggle with outbreaks and

00:07:04.840 that can be very very hard understand what that looks and feels like and i get it one thing that

00:07:09.640 i did take was oil of oregano is so spicy l-lysine give you a cyclophore those are the three things

00:07:15.440 that like helped me save my life when i did have my first outbreak but that one i've never had it

00:07:20.260 again and i hope to god that i don't living proof that god can redeem what you think ruined your 1.00

00:07:25.440 life it honestly and this is what i mean when bitches go to church when you find a bitch in 1.00

00:07:29.320 church what's center to church you know what i mean really changed too much for me i say that 1.00

00:07:33.840 now because i'm like years later studied and done all the things but we're still worthy having that

00:07:38.260 conversation after being yeah and then she raised her standards it's like incredible catch us catch

00:07:42.720 an std raise your standards like there was a man in my life at one point and i was so nervy girl

00:07:47.760 i was so nerdy to tell this boy because he was so like perfect i thought i was gonna marry him

00:07:54.360 this didn't happen i was literally in my car and i was in tears and i was so nervous and i was like

00:07:59.560 you cannot like me like we were getting to the point where i was like okay like we're starting

00:08:03.440 to like each other and i looked at him and i was like you can't like me like i come with a lot of

00:08:08.460 baggage and i don't really want to like put that on you i used to do this pregnant by marine man

00:08:13.840 and i got herpes because of it like can't you can't like me like to me he was just so like

00:08:17.760 ideal he literally someone will always do it watch he grabbed my hand he was like emma i don't see

00:08:23.980 you for anything that the lord doesn't see you for christian dude see you to be spotless and

00:08:29.600 blameless your husband is going to pick you it doesn't matter what you've been through because

00:08:33.840 i just was in tears i was just like whoa like this is yeah that's what i mean players send

00:08:38.280 women into marriage because she got humbled so bad she gave the christian guy a chance and now

00:08:42.340 she's married and probably gave him herpes too like you can't really hurt my feelings because

00:08:46.520 i've already told myself worse i had my first outbreak i also lost all my hair and i was

00:08:51.360 diagnosed with alopecia the duo of them babe there was there was nothing to live for genuinely like

00:08:57.720 it destroyed everything in my life like you have no idea what's about to happen for you the fear

00:09:03.220 is so in your head and there's such a stigma on it that's like so like you're just and they're 0.93

00:09:06.720 trying to get rid of the stigma but the stigma is there for a reason disgusting and you're this

00:09:11.000 it made me the healthiest person ever. Yeah. All right. I'm done listening to this. All right,
