00:00:00.000 what's up guys it's andy priscilla and this is the show for the realist say goodbye to the lies 0.98
00:00:21.660 the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking reality guys this is your 0.72
00:00:27.460 first time listening um this is a little bit of a uh different kind of show it's not an interview 0.61
00:00:33.360 show it's a conversation show first of all um so those of you who are tuning in to hear me ask the 0.97
00:00:41.420 same fucking questions that everybody else asks everybody else uh you're not going to get that 0.93
00:00:45.820 here there's other shows like that all right second of all i have valuable input i'm going to 0.99
00:00:51.180 talk a whole fucking lot if you don't like that don't fucking listen all right third of all um 0.97
00:00:56.840 this is an entrepreneur show and we also cover current events if you don't like that don't 0.99
00:01:03.480 listen basically guys if you don't like the show don't fucking listen um now for those of you still 0.96
00:01:09.260 here and those of you still listening today i'm going to talk about risk assessment okay one of 0.98
00:01:15.720 the biggest questions that i get as an entrepreneur and as a uh you know very successful speaker i was 0.57
00:01:24.220 ranked the 14th best speaker in the world last year even though i didn't do a single fucking event 0.95
00:01:28.560 which is weird but uh apparently i'm decent at what i do so i want to talk to you guys a little bit
00:01:35.260 about risk one of the biggest questions that i get from young people or people just starting out
00:01:41.900 is how do i know if it's going to be worth it or what's you know what's the the correct amount
00:01:51.000 to risk to go after an opportunity and let me let me reframe how this should be asked in your mind
00:01:59.480 okay the way you're asking the question is this going to be worth it uh is this something that's
00:02:06.120 going to pay off those are normal thoughts those are thoughts that every single person who has ever
00:02:11.100 accomplished anything have okay we look around in our life and we say man you know this isn't that bad
00:02:19.200 like i don't want to lose it by going out and trying something else but um you know i would
00:02:28.100 like a better life i would like more money i would like a better house i would like a better lifestyle
00:02:34.120 right and so we're constantly weighing these pros and cons based around what it is we think is worth 0.99
00:02:41.960 it and that's normal all right but i'm going to tell you that's also how losers fucking think 0.96
00:02:46.700 all right how winners think is this what's my life going to look like if i don't do this 0.97
00:02:53.980 what's my outcome going to be if i don't do this am i going to be less than what i could be if i don't
00:03:00.300 do this these are the things that a winner's dialogue sounds like all right loser dialogue sounds like man
00:03:07.680 i don't know i don't know man i don't want to lose what i got you know i got it pretty good when in
00:03:15.020 reality you don't have it pretty good you're scrounging you're trying to make ends meet you're
00:03:20.180 doing a job that you fucking hate all right and you've built this life that you're afraid of losing 0.92
00:03:27.000 up as if it's extremely valuable when in reality the value is way down the road 10 15 years down the 0.96
00:03:35.220 road that you haven't built yet and you're afraid to trade what you have for what you could have
00:03:41.620 and that's just not the way winners think about it winners think about it very simply they they 0.99
00:03:48.700 see the end result the 10 years the 15 years down the road and they say fuck i can't afford to not 0.97
00:03:55.920 do that i have to go all in on everything i have to do everything i can to get to that point because 0.57
00:04:01.380 that point is so great that it makes this point feel like it's absolutely nothing and really what
00:04:07.740 i'm telling you guys is this stop overvaluing your current situation stop thinking that you have
00:04:14.180 it so good that you're afraid to take a risk because people that actually win people that build 0.99
00:04:21.100 great things people that do great things all the people you look up to and you say fuck man i wish i 0.89
00:04:26.380 had what that guy had the only real difference they have is the way they assess risk is completely
00:04:32.200 different okay you see it as what you have to lose when the the person who's going to achieve this the
00:04:40.980 people you look up to they see the the thing 10 15 years as something that they can't afford to not go
00:04:48.420 after all right it's a completely different way of seeing things and you could sum it up as this 0.94
00:04:53.440 what is this going to cost me if i fail and what is it going to cost me if i don't fucking go after 0.93
00:04:59.580 it and here's the other thing guys what you don't realize is that when you take these risks in 0.78
00:05:06.560 entrepreneurship when you go out very few of these little decisions that you make are going to be
00:05:11.720 fatal all right that's a whole nother thing that people don't understand when they're just starting
00:05:16.820 out in the the success entrepreneur gonna build a business game they feel like every mistake that they
00:05:24.580 might make could possibly sink them and that's just not reality here's what happens
00:05:29.360 just like when you're three years old or four years old and you're old enough to touch the stove
00:05:35.260 you only got to touch stuff once and you only got to touch it for a very short amount of time to know
00:05:40.760 that it's not right and so sometimes when you make these decisions you will know immediately that they
00:05:46.480 were the wrong decisions you'll be able to retract adjust course and then move forward all right
00:05:51.480 but you cannot paralyze yourself over valuing your current situation and undervaluing what your life
00:05:59.320 could actually look like because if you do that guys what's actually going to happen is when you're
00:06:04.800 10 15 years down the road if you decided that it wasn't worth going after you're going to look 0.83
00:06:10.240 around and you're going to say well fuck what would my life look like if i actually had went after that 0.95
00:06:15.320 and then that's going to cause regret that's going to cause what if it's going to cause uncertainty 0.99
00:06:20.060 and what it's eventually going to cause is frustration unhappiness and lack of fulfillment 0.97
00:06:24.820 in your life you're going to feel like you wasted shit so whatever it is that you that is in your 0.97
00:06:30.180 heart whatever it is that's in your mind that you're saying dude i could do this i know i could 0.99
00:06:34.700 fucking do this i know i can do this but i'm not sure if i want to put in the time or i'm not sure 0.86
00:06:40.860 if uh it's going to be worth the effort or i'm not sure if i can actually finish this thing and 0.99
00:06:46.500 you start having all these dude you got to push that shit out of your mind and you have to remember 0.94
00:06:51.260 that the only way mountains are fucking climbed is one foot at a time and if you're not moving in 0.99
00:06:56.680 the right direction if you're not moving consistently on a day-by-day basis you'll never 0.90
00:07:01.660 get there but if you are if you are taking the steps on a day-by-day basis every single day that
00:07:09.160 that passes you're moving closer to this goal and not only are you moving closer what's happening is
00:07:14.920 you're putting more tools in your tool belt okay you're making mistakes you're touching the stove 0.99
00:07:20.500 you're learning lessons and those lessons make you more effective every time you make a fucking mistake 0.98
00:07:26.700 it should be a time where you say oh you know what we spent money there that was a bad idea or 0.98
00:07:32.820 you know what i handled that the wrong way that was a bad idea and you should be able to put those 0.96
00:07:37.420 lessons into your fucking arsenal of weapons and you're going to be able to use those which makes 0.92
00:07:43.100 you more effective so when you get to that 10 year mark or that 15 year mark and you're looking 0.99
00:07:49.160 around at your life and say it's pretty fucking good you're going to be looking around at yourself 0.67
00:07:53.020 saying i can't believe this is me i can't believe i did this what did i do well here's what you did 0.88
00:07:58.620 you did what other people won't do you move forward day after day after day being comfortable with the 0.98
00:08:05.120 fact that you don't really know what the fuck you're doing and confident in the fact that you 0.98
00:08:10.360 know that you're smart enough to learn your lessons day by day and you understand that every single 0.91
00:08:15.440 lesson you learn makes you better okay so the way you look at this whole situation guys of risk versus
00:08:22.420 reward is usually backwards all right we have to stop thinking of it as what are we going to lose
00:08:28.980 we're going to lose this this life that we don't really like we're not really happy with we're not
00:08:34.220 excited about um do you really have that much to lose it's something to consider because the other
00:08:43.520 side of that is so great and so big and all it takes is a perspective switch up from i can't afford
00:08:49.480 to lose this which is something you never really wanted in the first place to i can't afford not to
00:08:55.200 go after this because if i don't my life will be shitty all right so think about it like that stop 0.96
00:09:02.360 asking yourself is it going to be worth it fuck yeah it's worth it it's worth it all what else are 0.99
00:09:08.420 you going to do you're going to coast through life fucking doing everything that everybody else does 1.00
00:09:13.120 if that's you you shouldn't be listening to the show in the first place all right so stop thinking 0.98
00:09:18.020 of risk as this thing that's bad and start seeing it as an opportunity to do the things other people
00:09:24.340 won't do knowing that ultimately that path is what's going to reshape your entire existence and 0.85
00:09:31.940 make you into a fucking weapon where other people are still going to be in the same mental space with 0.90
00:09:37.100 the same skills 10 years from now what does that mean for you that means 10 years from now whether 0.99
00:09:42.380 you know you're going to be 30 or 40 or 50 or 60 or whatever it is you're going to be you're going to be
00:09:47.680 literally so much more effective than everybody else around you that the things that seem hard now
00:09:54.160 are going to be things that you could snap your fingers and get done instantly all right so stop
00:09:59.800 killing your entire future your entire family's future your entire existence by overvaluing what 0.94
00:10:07.980 you have now and not understanding what the real risk is and the real risk is this what the fuck could 0.99
00:10:14.460 you have and what's your life going to look like if you don't do it 0.98
