00:02:11.740 do show people what it really takes to succeed and so what I'd like to get into right away man
00:02:17.360 is just let's talk about you know what do you do now and then we'll backtrack so tell everybody what
00:02:24.220 you do well I'm the I run my own financial services company let me amend that I'm a I help run a
00:02:29.620 financial services company it's not mine um it's a large financial service distribution company it's
00:02:34.640 called world financial group right and so I help uh lead and run that with a whole bunch of other
00:02:39.140 people so I'm a part of that company and then I speak so I speak and I've got my social media
00:02:43.520 presence too I coach people try to show them how to get better in their lives and their body and
00:02:47.380 their you know and their finances all of those kinds of things and so I spend a lot of my time
00:02:50.900 doing that now and you know and a lot of my time running my financial business too that dude you got
00:02:55.480 the voice for for podcasting man I know you guys are gonna make comments about Ed's sexy voice huh
00:03:00.100 until they look at me and then it all goes away hey you know you know what what's that saying
00:03:05.560 you got a face for radio yeah thank you man I get that a lot I'm just kidding bro dude um so
00:03:13.000 you and I connected through mutual acquaintance uh and slash friend Grant Cardone that's right we
00:03:18.340 both like Grant a lot Uncle G Uncle G's the man we're both speaking to 10x yep that's going to be
00:03:23.020 exciting fired up about that yeah so tell us uh you grew up as an athlete like I did yeah baseball guy
00:03:28.860 I grew up as a baseball player yeah I thought that's probably what I was going to do all my life in
00:03:32.360 fact you know I had little businesses on the side Leo and I talked about I had a baseball card
00:03:36.180 business I had an auto detailing business I had always this sort of entrepreneurial streak in me
00:03:41.020 yeah but it really wasn't that I always just wanted to win always wanted to compete and so I never
00:03:45.300 really thought you know I would do anything other than play baseball I went on and played in college
00:03:49.400 I had a chance to play a little bit after that and just for a whole bunch of different reasons I
00:03:52.420 didn't work out so for like a lot of people man my first big dream ended right you know and so that
00:03:58.900 was a real turning point in my life as I trying to figure out what the hell I wanted to do with the rest of
00:04:02.240 my life because I really never thought about doing something else right it's funny though because
00:04:06.580 you were already kind of falling down that entrepreneurial line yeah uh without really
00:04:11.040 realizing like that that was what you were meant to be yeah it's really wow that's really true
00:04:15.100 like my calling was this other stuff but it's like I think a lot of people this way I played I love the
00:04:19.660 sport right like I fell in love with doing it but I think there's a lot of people out there this way
00:04:23.460 too it's like you almost play like a character that other people made you yeah you know what I mean
00:04:28.000 so a lot of people do that their entire life they become this character what you're supposed to be
00:04:31.640 they're supposed to be right like they're this person I was I was supposed to be a baseball
00:04:35.200 player I think it took on its own momentum even past my love for it you know and people out there
00:04:39.400 do that all the time they're this person their parents or their friends or everybody else thinks
00:04:43.460 they're supposed to be and a lot of people end up dying that way they go their whole life right
00:04:47.840 never actually playing or being themselves right so I was faced with that it's like baseball's over
00:04:53.100 like who the hell am I what am I really going to do you know and in hindsight I did I had this streak
00:04:58.280 all the time where I wanted to be in control of my time I wanted to win I wanted to be free right
00:05:03.120 all that was sort of in the back of my mind and so it was a gift it ended and I'm like wow who am I
00:05:07.900 really like what do I want to spend the next 80 years of my life doing and then I fell into what
00:05:11.580 I'm doing now so when you were when you were young did how tell me about how your family was were you
00:05:15.700 guys wealthy were you guys poor were you in the middle like I come from the worst place I think
00:05:19.800 where you do too I came from the middle yeah and so I've always thought this I think if you grow up
00:05:24.200 really wealthy there's some downsides of that because you can grow up soft or right you know
00:05:28.180 entitled but you also you see winning right you see success you kind of know some of you can model
00:05:33.340 some of that behavior if you grow up really poor you really know what you don't want there's a lot
00:05:37.540 of pain a lot of misery you go this is not what I want you can make that decision the middle is hard
00:05:41.560 because it's average right and so everybody always it's okay it's okay but it's not great it's not
00:05:46.240 great it's comfortable but it's not exactly what we want yeah exactly so when you're poor you know
00:05:51.100 you grow up and you never see success or you never know winning dude a lot of people who grow up poor
00:05:56.260 never know one person who's a millionaire think about that man you and I that's who that's our
00:06:01.540 whole circle like every single person I hang out with basically uh or talk to right but man I can
00:06:07.620 remember a time where I I didn't know any you know what I mean and and I think you know coming from the
00:06:12.680 middle is a difficult spot but it's also a good spot because you know you see a little bit of this
00:06:17.160 and a little bit of that you do and it's funny my dad was really hard-working dude like my hero my
00:06:22.980 model all that stuff and so I knew what hard work was and also when you're in the middle you got
00:06:27.360 friends in the bottom and the top yeah you know people in the other places right so I'd meet guys
00:06:31.500 once my day go hey this guy's a millionaire you know I'd meet them and I'd see how they walked and
00:06:35.300 how they talked and but in my house we never talked about those things at least where I grew up like
00:06:39.940 we never talked about winning or being wealthy we didn't take lots of vacations we just sort of
00:06:45.320 loved each other as a family right but like for a lot of people it looked good on the outside but
00:06:50.580 in my house my dad's now been sober for like 30 years but my dad had a real alcohol problem I was
00:06:56.800 a you know what I call sometimes a raging alcoholic so there was dysfunction and stress and concern and
00:07:02.980 all kinds of crap going on behind those walls of my house the America dream right that's exactly
00:07:08.520 right yeah that was the neighborhood all the other kids were afraid of my dad yeah they hear my dad
00:07:12.660 yelling because it's you know suburbia so eight houses down you knew when my dad had had a couple
00:07:16.820 too many drinks because you could hear he had my voice yeah except mad and drunk right so like
00:07:21.020 for the whole neighborhood knew when Mr. Milet had had too many beers you know so I did have one of
00:07:26.020 those but that served me too because early I have three little sisters early often I was the man of the
00:07:31.720 house right yeah often I had to grow up sooner I didn't you know I had to take some responsibility for
00:07:37.260 not just me but other people when I was really young so it was middle class but I'd call it like
00:07:41.140 dysfunctional middle class which most people listen to this you got someone in your family who screwed
00:07:46.380 up there's a drug addict there's an alcoholic somewhere in your family you said something
00:07:50.020 real profound in that in that whole description that I want to point out you said that that served
00:07:58.680 you okay and I want to point that out you're not going to find somebody and by the way and Ed won't
00:08:05.160 say this because he's a humble guy but he's very very wealthy Ed lives uh on Laguna Beach
00:08:12.160 oceanfront property uh he's got a hundred acre estate in Idaho you've got all kinds of toys you've
00:08:18.800 got a whole the whole the whole deal I mean this isn't like this isn't when he said help run a company
00:08:23.320 he's being modest all right um this is a very very very successful man much more successful than I am
00:08:30.980 this this dude is killing it and so you're never going to have somebody who's killing it the way
00:08:36.120 that Ed has say oh well my dad was uh an alcoholic and it you know it crippled me and blah blah blah
00:08:42.540 no you heard what he said it served me it taught me it showed me what I needed and dude that is just
00:08:48.920 so powerful to hear because and I think people miss that message you know what I mean they miss that
00:08:54.320 well it's not and you know this too you and I were talking about this earlier but it's not the events
00:08:57.460 that happen to you it's the meaning you take from them right like that sounds corny you know Tony
00:09:01.280 Robbins and I talked about this and he has this saying and it's true I never knew I did it but
00:09:06.320 he always says he goes my overriding belief is things happen for me not to me right and I I didn't
00:09:11.760 know I thought that but that's actually how I responded right like and that's a huge factor it's
00:09:16.820 like things are going to happen to you in your life the meaning you take from them you and I were
00:09:20.660 talking about one of your stories there's like the meaning you take sets the entire freaking direction
00:09:24.920 for your life right and so my dad's stuff that situation if that stuff doesn't happen if I don't
00:09:29.880 have an alcoholic dad if I I guarantee you I'm not where I am now I had to make some choices early in
00:09:35.300 my life as a young guy that I know served me to this day and so even now when stuff happens and you
00:09:40.740 and I have real life stuff's that my dad's real sick now you know I've talked about that my dad's
00:09:43.820 got cancer it's like I'm trying to take the right meaning from it and one of the meanings is I'm enjoying
00:09:48.800 more I take my time with my dad way more seriously I enjoy it way more I'm more present with him
00:09:53.900 than if he were healthy right and my own mortality my own health I'm more grateful for and aware of
00:09:59.980 time with my own kids and part of that is the benefit oddly of my dad being sick now right it's
00:10:05.560 so weird to say but it's true yeah but that's but that is I have not met I have not met a self-made
00:10:11.600 quote-unquote financially successful because I use success uh I when I say success I don't a lot of
00:10:18.260 people think just money I don't I don't think that I think it's just money is an aspect so I like to
00:10:23.060 say financially successful I have never met a self-made financially successful person that
00:10:28.460 doesn't learn that doesn't understand the power of perspective when it comes to the challenges
00:10:33.840 and the things that happen to us and how to learn from them it's alchemy dude it's like yeah you know
00:10:39.020 it's take take whatever the shit life gives you and turn it into something that can help you 100%
00:10:43.880 yeah it's like it's uh it's just here's the thing man you and I talked about this earlier today too
00:10:47.720 you take responsibility like you own your life like this is your deal right here so you can't look
00:10:52.360 outside yourself for all the answers and you can't look outside yourself for blame it's like
00:10:55.580 this is my show it's my run it's my life I gotta own it I gotta be in charge of it and I'm not gonna
00:11:00.700 allow things that happen to me to ruin my life too many people let circumstances a one-minute
00:11:06.760 circumstance ruin a 60-year life right or a stage you're going through a problem you're going through
00:11:12.880 literally dictate the course you have so that when they bury you someday you end up never meeting the
00:11:18.080 dude you could have been because of some crap that happened to you when you were young or some
00:11:21.540 divorce you're going through or a business step back I'm not gonna let events define my whole
00:11:25.080 freaking life right there's no way right right yeah man it's it's a shame too because I see so many
00:11:30.960 people that they've been through a divorce or a loss or a sickness or injury or something yep dude one
00:11:38.180 of my good buddies is going through this right now Zach Miller for a tight end from the Bears he tore his
00:11:42.060 knee up real bad in a game and he's going through a uh you know I I know he's going through a mental
00:11:48.380 revelation so to speak you know and uh he's going to come back he's going to be stronger he's gonna
00:11:54.500 be better but you know dude when you have your whole life ripped from you and and and questioned
00:12:00.120 and challenged it takes a certain kind of individual to overcome that it takes a certain decision for
00:12:07.240 sure right so like so your buddy that's that's a good way to say it because like that it's not an
00:12:11.880 individual a certain type of individual it is a certain type of choice decision it's a certain
00:12:15.800 and the goal should be to become that type of individual got it yeah that's right like like so
00:12:19.600 you're talking about your athlete buddy or even me so I was nowhere near that level of athlete but
00:12:22.860 that ended I had to make a freaking decision like okay am I the guy who's going to talk the rest of
00:12:28.020 my life about playing college baseball exactly am I the guy who caught my whole story is my past story
00:12:33.660 right or is my story my future story I I even when you meet people all the time it's like I used to
00:12:38.420 be this I've got a master's degree I did this like okay that's the old story what's the new freaking
00:12:42.620 story right and I coach a lot of athletes uh current and former football players a lot of
00:12:47.920 them are football guys hockey guys baseball guys and I watch them struggle when it ends like their
00:12:52.520 dream they play 10 years in the big leagues or 12 years in the NFL and then you watch them in their
00:12:56.800 40s they gain a lot of weight many of them right they're lost because they haven't found their new
00:13:01.300 story their new game right like you and I have you built this amazing company and are building it and
00:13:06.060 I've done pretty good in mine too it's like but I'm always thinking about the new story my new version
00:13:10.640 right not what I did before not what happened to me and not even my successes before let me ask you
00:13:16.340 this too because I had that dream as well like my dream was to play professional football okay I was
00:13:21.280 a good baseball player I was a decent football player I was probably I probably thought I was a
00:13:25.420 lot better than I was me too you know but the reality of it is is that I grew up thinking I was going
00:13:31.180 to be that and let me let me see see if you kind of thought the same thing um I'm extremely thankful
00:13:39.460 that that didn't work out me too because I am a far better position financially than I would have
00:13:44.860 been had I been that oh brother me too you know what I'm saying I I honestly can tell you I count
00:13:50.020 my blessings all the time yeah I got injured I don't know that I would have made it had I not
00:13:53.600 been injured right but and I just wouldn't wish I want my life like I don't want someone else's life
00:13:58.920 and it's not even a better life I think the entrepreneur's life is better dude it is when I see
00:14:03.160 better life than a pro athlete's life way better and the cool thing is is that you know you it's
00:14:08.360 because of what you said it's constant evolution we don't get to a point where we say oh I've made
00:14:15.000 it like like dude do you ever get do you get people like I get people to come to me and they're
00:14:19.360 like dude congrats on all the success you made it yeah do you get that like I get that and I have
00:14:23.480 no idea what they're talking about me too I'm like bro what are you I'm just like starting I feel
00:14:27.200 like I'm just starting so do I and you know it's here's why because you can be you when you're an
00:14:31.820 athlete you actually become a character yeah literally you're playing this thing that everybody
00:14:35.300 else honestly like before that everybody else thinks you are and when that story ends you're
00:14:38.840 like who the hell am I right where is it an identity issue it's an idea and here's the greatest
00:14:43.000 thing about being an entrepreneur the more you understand you and get to know you the better
00:14:47.720 entrepreneur you are entrepreneurship is more about self-discovery and revelation about the next
00:14:53.020 version of you than any other thing you'd almost ever do in the world being an entrepreneur
00:14:56.740 is actually the greatest personal development program with the highest possible compensation
00:15:02.160 package attached to it of anywhere in the world far more than as an athlete far more than an actor
00:15:07.420 and entertainer an entrepreneur's journey of getting to be the best version of them getting to know
00:15:11.920 themselves better far better experience in life than I mean you and I both have this we have lots
00:15:16.020 of entertainer athlete friends I would not take their journey I wouldn't either no way I wouldn't
00:15:20.260 either man I there's no question I agree with that a hundred percent so dude so you you realize
00:15:27.960 you're not going to be a pro athlete right now probably other people knew it before me but yeah
00:15:31.360 okay now what well you obviously go through a situation where you're like oh man this isn't
00:15:36.960 going to work yep I'm I'm I'm not going to be what I thought I was going to be yep depressed
00:15:42.580 down moved back home with my parents broke living in the same room I grew up in with my posters
00:15:47.840 from high school on the wall and my teddy bear from when I was 12 years old and figuring out
00:15:52.200 what the hell I was going to do and having my family try to get me to be really realistic so
00:15:56.340 once that failure happens then all of the people come in and go okay just stabilize just be normal
00:16:00.940 just conform right just like do what everybody else does now it's time to be like us exactly right
00:16:05.980 we're gonna let's get let's get as quickly to average as we can right right and so what ended up
00:16:11.080 happening was and they say that with good intentions because they're it's like look we want you to
00:16:15.520 survive we don't want you to start right because they're thinking like worst possible stuff oh ed
00:16:19.500 you didn't make pro baseball now you're gonna be homeless yeah or you're gonna fall off the cliff
00:16:23.080 of life right like literally and by the way everyone should know that all your critics in your family
00:16:27.380 like people say well they they love you they're coming from a place they love you they're afraid
00:16:31.220 they're telling you what they perceive to be the safe thing yeah and they they it's either they love
00:16:35.900 you and they want you to be safe or they actually just don't get what you're doing yet right like
00:16:39.100 don't take it so freaking personally right it's like they love you man don't worry about that
00:16:43.460 and when you go win they'll love you even more but what happened for me just to answer your question
00:16:47.460 was one of my best friends father who I grew up with was involved with the organization that I'm
00:16:54.260 now with and said hey man I think I can give you a shot you'll start part-time which a lot of
00:16:58.780 entrepreneurs do but here's the upside these are the things that could happen in your life and so like
00:17:02.900 thousands of other people got involved at the same time as me but I was just young enough just
00:17:07.540 dumb enough just coachable enough just stupid enough to actually believe all of it you could be the best
00:17:13.180 I believed it and then all of the athlete stuff served me right because I'm an undersized athlete
00:17:18.780 I'm not super gifted so all the stuff I already had getting there earlier busting my ass work out
00:17:24.280 working everybody competing like crazy being really coachable like do this exactly this way I'd be like
00:17:30.140 okay I'll do it exactly that way I'd have my own ideas my own version at that time I had a good coach
00:17:35.480 at the time and so I you know I knew right away now I sucked I made like eight grand the first year
00:17:41.180 I made like 40 grand the next year and even when I was doing well that's the other thing
00:17:45.500 entrepreneurs have you feel like you're faking it so even when I was making 100 grand a year
00:17:48.920 everyone's like oh you're rich you're loaded I'm like I'm pouring 150 back in my freaking business
00:17:53.160 man ask ask anybody who makes 100 grand a year if they feel rich they're broke the answer always
00:17:57.400 gonna be no they're broke but your buddies are like hey you're balling brother you're 100 grand I'm
00:18:01.100 like I'm actually more broke at 100 grand than I was at eight grand because now I've taken on more
00:18:05.380 responsibility right I got a bigger facility and so that's the other thing it's like even when you break
00:18:10.780 through the broke stage right where you're like okay I'm no longer I could actually eat food now
00:18:15.360 on my own without having to borrow money from people but then it's actually worse for a while
00:18:21.020 you go through that next stage where it's a complete faking it stage where it's like I'm in more debt I
00:18:25.760 was more broke I was struggling even more well it felt like I was doing well and the frustration is
00:18:29.900 super high because you see what you're making but you don't get to fucking spend any of it you got it
00:18:34.060 yeah you got it like it's demoralizing dude I just went through a period of two years like three
00:18:38.280 years ago where I didn't get fucking paid once right and that was like three that wasn't even
00:18:41.900 that long ago you know what I mean and I'm pissed yeah Tyler you remember that remember how pissed I
00:18:46.220 was when I came in here every day all you motherfuckers were lazy and that's because I
00:18:49.980 couldn't get paid I'm kidding no I can't you guys didn't see but I just winked at him he did he
00:18:57.020 went yeah I saw the way but Tyler liked that too yeah he did yeah but it's like it's actually true
00:19:01.420 like that's the next thing entrepreneurs need to know it's like hey then you're actually going to get to
00:19:04.640 a place where everyone else thinks you're doing good and inside you're like I'm still totally
00:19:08.100 broke right there's that phase and for most people their will to win can be bought so like
00:19:13.680 immediately when they go broke you can buy them out with failure they quit but then the next level
00:19:17.660 we're like okay you're doing pretty well but you're still broke you can be bought then it's like wow
00:19:21.420 this isn't what it was cracked up to be this isn't why I made all these sacrifices and you start
00:19:24.960 rear view mirroring I call it as an entrepreneur you're like looking back all I've gone through
00:19:28.880 all the sacrifices I've made all the things I've done nothing and look where I am
00:19:33.200 right and then the truth is you just haven't been doing it long enough I'm doing it long enough
00:19:36.440 that's the story the moral of the story for both of us is like length of time doing it right so then
00:19:40.520 today that was the big shift for me is like even listening to you it's like wow it made me feel okay
00:19:44.520 because I went to that stage too and I just endured past that stage I kept getting better I kept working
00:19:50.260 I kept finally starting to stick away some money and then the big thing I did when I was young I saved
00:19:55.460 money man I did not try to impress everybody with my stuff back in the day right I didn't want to look
00:19:59.680 rich I wanted to be rich yeah and so I stacked it and stacked it and you're still not a big stuff
00:20:04.880 guy I'm not all any stuff if you ever see me on Instagram or social media here's the good news if
00:20:09.760 you see me with some stuff I own it yeah there's no debt no mortgage no lease my jets my house my
00:20:14.720 cars my boats the whole stuff I can just tell from being around you like it's not it's like we went down
00:20:19.240 and looked at my cars you're like oh that's cool but it's not well you and I talked about past it
00:20:23.220 well past it like I think that's a phase especially young men go through I'm always gonna love cars
00:20:27.640 but it's not like it's not like it was to me three four years ago I would still rather drive one of
00:20:31.680 your Lambos than a Volkswagen right there's no question about it rather fly in a private jet than
00:20:35.660 you know damn right take a big wheel somewhere okay so what about a Camry though not well you're
00:20:39.940 talking about Camry's you're starting to sell me on this yeah good quality four-door family car
00:20:44.720 it is weird though like once you've had some nice cars you ever go get like a rental car so I was
00:20:49.460 down at playing golf a couple weeks ago and I rented a Hyundai and it was like it was such a weird
00:20:54.780 deal it's funny weird deal like I feel like go-karts it did I was like it just you feel every
00:20:58.980 bump but it's like my whole identity started to change a little bit it's like I'm just kind of
00:21:02.560 used to some nice crap so I'm not a stuff person but I am kind of accustomed to yeah having things
00:21:07.380 that I like yeah but that stuff wears out man the stuff that juices me now and it does you too like
00:21:11.740 is real honestly man I like seeing other people's dreams happen moving other people to the next level
00:21:17.220 that has never worn out so stuff wore out money wore out um recognition wears out
00:21:24.320 significance wears out it's like getting in a it's like getting in a uh a hot tub right like
00:21:29.780 when you first try to get in a hot tub it's super hot you're like oh I can't get in you got to ease
00:21:34.720 your way in and once you're in for a while it's just the way things are yeah and so when you start
00:21:38.940 to make money and you start to have success and you drive nice car live in a nice house you have
00:21:43.140 friends who are successful it becomes just the way things are just like it's like for you your life is
00:21:48.380 how it is you're right and you're normal so like that's that's what it's like it's no different
00:21:52.720 it's relative it's a it's all relative exactly it is relative but serving other people like
00:21:57.080 it never gets old contribution doesn't get old like significance all of it gets old for some
00:22:00.820 reason man contribution I like and it sounds cheesy but I know my calling in life is to serve other I
00:22:07.000 think everyone's calling in life is to serve other people but finding the coolest thing how to serve
00:22:11.560 founding out when you find out how which is this form the stuff you and I are doing it's like man
00:22:15.740 like it's not work I'm juiced I'm energized right I'm thinking about it all the time I never get tired
00:22:20.880 of it and so that's like my for now I want to spend the next 80 years of my life doing that
00:22:25.360 yeah I want to do dude you're great at it real quick back to uh you know you putting all the
00:22:29.820 money back into your business so you sound like you're you're kind of like me to where I have to
00:22:33.680 have my back up against the wall in order for me to progress to that next stage yeah yeah like
00:22:39.180 like Andy and I had the conversation before we got my place because I am Tyler just bought a
00:22:43.680 brand or we got a brand new penthouse apartment so I had but I did that in order for me to like
00:22:48.980 not get comfortable again because I got that raised and I was with my old place and I could
00:22:53.700 have easily just you know skated along yep well so I think there's a balance just to be to answer
00:22:59.240 you honestly from I think there's a balance between stretching yourself and putting unneeded pressure
00:23:03.140 on yourself too because like financial stress can be a paralyzing force for people too it depends on
00:23:08.340 how you're wired I dude it's 100 it depends on how you're wired yeah because like certain people
00:23:13.640 have to have their backs against the wall certain people do better whenever they have security
00:23:17.700 right they do you know they've got they've got enough money in the bank to live for a couple
00:23:21.340 years without without having like let's say you got fired today they can live for two three years
00:23:25.580 dude certain people will work harder than certain people will get lazy they get lazy like I gotta
00:23:30.780 like and this maybe doesn't sound like winning thinking but honestly like I'm still I still I'm
00:23:36.520 afraid of being broke dude I don't want to be broke I I'm more afraid of being broke than I am
00:23:41.600 turned on by being rich honestly I don't want to be broke so I'm a saver man do you not find that
00:23:46.620 I find that to be true with every one of my friends who's ultra successful they're more afraid
00:23:51.240 of losing than they love winning yes I yep dude I've experienced losing I know what it's like to
00:23:57.020 be broke I know what it's like to be like you who is listening right now and not know how to fucking
00:24:01.200 pay the credit dude I want at one time I had $11,000 on my credit card debt that I was like I was
00:24:07.800 convinced that I was never going to be able to pay off like I was convinced dude now I take people
00:24:12.420 to dinner and it costs 11 grand I know you know what I'm saying yeah and like and now you're
00:24:15.760 comfortable there too right but do you ever still I still have fears of being broke fuck yeah dude I
00:24:20.200 go dude my biggest I tell these guys in the office all the time because I am and I said this at our
00:24:25.720 company meeting we had our all company meeting on Sunday I am the most intense driven motherfucker
00:24:30.200 in this building and I make the most money that's not right yep like dude the reason I'm like that is
00:24:35.380 because I've literally experienced what it feels like to be completely broke and have no fucking
00:24:39.220 options me too and having you know what I'm saying like I had no nobody was there to hold
00:24:44.260 me nobody was there like if shit went bad dude I was fucking digging ditches or being homeless or
00:24:48.640 whatever yep and you know I hope and pray that that never leaves me I don't want to leave me either
00:24:55.800 yeah it's funny you say that because we both know this but like you have to figure out what type you
00:25:00.060 are like two things move people both move you but one's more dominant so like pain or pleasure right
00:25:04.900 so does gaining pleasure move you more than avoiding pain or does avoiding pain move you more than
00:25:08.900 gaining they'll both motivate you but most people are one or the other for me it's avoiding pain
00:25:13.520 yeah if you want to get you want to get me a fit you don't tell me how great I look you go you're a fat
00:25:17.020 ass right me too I see some fat on my abs I'm like oh right I want to avoid the discomfort of that
00:25:21.780 and so that's a mechanism I leverage on myself every single chance I get and here's how you do it when
00:25:26.800 you're successful you have to compare it to who you could be not where you are you have to constantly
00:25:31.740 be chasing the next version of you I'm obsessed with that so I know what I'm capable of I'm
00:25:35.980 constantly envisioning that and so I freaking hate where I am dude I hate where I am Malcolm X said
00:25:41.400 that which you don't hate you will eventually tolerate and so for me that's my formula if I
00:25:46.160 start really loving where I'm at I start tolerating it and you always get what you'll tolerate out of
00:25:51.460 life right so I I'm working all the time it's harder and harder when you have a little bit more
00:25:55.760 cheddar but I'm constantly chasing this next dude this next me and so I don't like the dude I'm with
00:26:00.840 I love that you just said I'm chasing this next dude yeah because we talked about this down at the
00:26:05.320 uh uh at my office slash man cave whatever you want to call it the for seller thank you the what
00:26:10.720 the for seller the for seller like a seller all these names you guys have dude that's what he pays
00:26:15.980 me he pays me that's why you're here God knows what's up exactly for a seller dude so uh I chasing
00:26:25.560 the dude it's so funny that you say that because we were talking about a mutual acquaintance of ours
00:26:29.940 and you said to me it seems like you guys have a love-hate relationship and I said no it's just
00:26:34.860 we're competitive yep and it's okay to be friends with somebody and still be competitive with them
00:26:39.020 absolutely you know I I want to be the fucking best absolutely I know you do too of course and if
00:26:44.840 we're competing against each other yep I want to fucking beat you a hundred percent but I still want
00:26:48.940 you to win though I want you to win you took your you took your sweater off and I was looking at
00:26:52.360 your guns I'm like shit right like I'm competitive like all right I want to be the biggest bicep dude
00:26:56.320 in the room yeah this dude's gigantic but dude that will to win is so rare these days it seems like
00:27:01.180 like it's I don't know well their will to win can be bought the other way brother that's why so like
00:27:05.380 you get your will to win can be bought when you fail but here's the real deal most guys sell out
00:27:10.140 their will to win at some level so what's different about me when you say sell out they're saying like
00:27:14.720 okay this is good enough this is good enough I'm done I'm comfy I'm gonna sit on my ass I'm gonna I'm
00:27:19.160 I'm not gonna do the grind anymore I'm not gonna do the stuff that got me here anymore dude but I
00:27:23.460 fucking love the grind so do I I love the uncomfortable like I wish I could find ways to
00:27:27.960 make me more uncomfortable me too I'm constantly fighting it but what's different and this is what
00:27:31.800 people should hear is like I don't think I could give you any amount of money to buy you out of make
00:27:37.040 an effort to getting better in your life right no and it's not about money that's what you got to
00:27:41.340 decide that when you have none otherwise there's an amount the world will write a check to you for
00:27:45.960 where you'll quit me you and I know we know all kinds of I sold my company when I was 35 I did
00:27:50.460 and they're done these athletes a lot of them they're not all of them but a lot of them are
00:27:54.380 done it's like I just made a decision as I started to do what are you gonna fucking do sit around all
00:27:58.380 day and buy the fucking same watch over and over and the same car over and over and this dude I've
00:28:03.060 done that shit that shit's boring and but that is what they think though like the dream I'm gonna live
00:28:06.780 on the like I live at the beach people would be amazed at how little I'm on that beach right like the
00:28:12.640 amount of times my feet hit that sand I will tell you this I'm fucking trying to catch you
00:28:17.160 motherfucker like dude I look at your snaps and I'm like damn that is sick like dude I'm gonna catch
00:28:25.020 you too yeah you but I'm just saying keep running dude yeah you didn't keep running give me something
00:28:29.720 to run for no I'm serious I'm trying to chase other guys I'm just saying you inspire me man I
00:28:33.400 appreciate that that's my way of saying that I appreciate what you've done because it does inspire
00:28:37.160 thank you man and you know this like the reason I'm here is I've watched you from a distance and
00:28:41.780 you've inspired me I told you this earlier today you have this ability man to say the most and I
00:28:46.260 love this about you because you come we're both rare in this space that we both have companies
00:28:50.980 and businesses and lives and have saved some real money you know you're so humble about yours I try
00:28:55.340 to be too I mean you're this you're one of the great you are man I'm not struggling you're one of
00:28:59.500 the great American entrepreneurs and one of the great stories in the country especially for dudes
00:29:02.880 under 40 years old like you're unreal what you've done and then you constantly pay it forward oh it's just
00:29:07.360 you're just your story is unbelievable and it's just starting like I'm I know I'm talking to a
00:29:12.640 guy who is going to be worth four five six seven hundred million going to be a billionaire someday
00:29:16.760 and when he's there he'll still be paying it forward to all these people but what's unique about you is
00:29:21.480 your will to win ain't for sale you just there's there's no amount of money I'll give you where you'll
00:29:24.840 stop I can tell uh dude I I've I've I've it's hard for somebody who doesn't have any money to
00:29:32.300 understand what we're talking about right yeah because we don't have any money you're like well
00:29:35.340 fuck and he lives a life dude he drives a fucking different car every day for fucking three weeks
00:29:39.780 straight pretty nice cars you go yeah it does whatever he wants flies private blah blah blah
00:29:43.320 but dude it ain't about that you know what I'm saying it's it's deep way deeper than that but we
00:29:48.520 want him to get that you and I were talking about this earlier absolutely right absolutely and I told this
00:29:52.060 Gary Gary and I were talking about this a couple weeks ago there's phases of motivation when you're
00:29:57.100 young and you don't have any fucking money having a Lamborghini is the shit absolutely and I'm gonna
00:30:00.600 tell you right now it is a shit so you should fucking have one you should have 10 of them you
00:30:04.200 got it it's fucking there ain't nothing cooler than pulling up in front of a bar full of 30k
00:30:08.340 millionaires and flipping the doors up and giving a fuck you to everybody there without saying a word
00:30:12.080 that's cool shit that's a good walk out of the car I like it I like it I like walking up knowing
00:30:17.200 that everybody else knows I'm the fucking man absolutely okay and if you think I'm insecure guess what
00:30:21.660 I am I don't give a fuck me too but here's the deal you need to experience that shit because
00:30:26.720 until you experience that shit you will not understand how that making an impact is actually
00:30:33.800 the better part of that because you'll always be chasing the the this this this the material shit
00:30:40.220 I like to talk about the material shit because I think it's important for a young man or a young
00:30:45.360 woman when they can't afford to pay their fucking rent to aspire to have shit it's important
00:30:51.020 I had it everywhere and here's the other thing did you grow up wanting cool shit of course yeah
00:30:55.180 like so like when you and it is cool I don't ever you and I both saying the same thing which is huge
00:30:59.260 we want you to have yeah but by the way here's one reason why those things aren't success but
00:31:04.780 they're evidence of it no and you ever want to inspire other people you got it yeah people listen
00:31:09.520 one of the reasons people listen to me and you is we have evidence of our success right if you go well
00:31:15.180 I really just want to be about helping people and making a difference well here's the deal
00:31:18.980 no one's gonna freaking listen to you yeah unless there's some proof some evidence and unfortunately
00:31:24.360 we can't publish our bank accounts online so sometimes these material things are the evidence
00:31:30.360 we have to say listen I kind of know the way I don't want you to have it too soon don't finance
00:31:34.760 don't leverage don't go totally broke doing it but the fact of the matter is this stuff is great
00:31:39.320 but you're gonna wear out on it is what you're saying yeah yeah for sure it is dude look
00:31:43.040 you ain't never gonna you will never see me not own a lambo or rolls I love it okay it'll never
00:31:48.620 happen no okay I fucking love rolling down the road and my fucking rolls with my tattoos all over
00:31:54.380 and everybody wondering what the fuck I do okay I love it so but I think the cool thing about the
00:32:02.480 economy that we're in now versus and you see you're old enough to know what it was like before pre
00:32:08.120 before internet that's for sure okay so I like the fact that we're in a situation now where there's
00:32:13.820 enough consumer feedback that's quick enough to spread bad word of mouth about people that aren't
00:32:20.040 doing shit ethically and reward people financially for doing shit the right way and so when you say
00:32:27.020 oh I don't want money but I really want to impact people well if you impact people you're gonna have
00:32:32.340 fucking money of course that's the reality okay we talked about this uh the on your post which was
00:32:37.580 awesome mother theresa thank you a lot of people were like oh mother theresa she impacted more
00:32:42.280 people blah blah well you know what she was also could have been one of the wealthiest women in the
00:32:45.880 history of earth because of the amount of donations that people gave her just for impacting people that
00:32:50.480 she then funneled into her charities okay impact is where the fucking money is when you're sitting
00:32:57.140 there trying to convince yourself that you want to buy a lambo and you're going to go out and start
00:33:00.720 this internet program and buy this program from some dumb fuck who hasn't ran a real company and then go
00:33:05.780 make a quick thousand dollars dude you're not thinking about it the right way how are you going
00:33:10.840 to help people how are you going to solve people's problems how are you going to impact people and if
00:33:15.080 you can figure that out the money will come but don't don't you agree 100 so when you so so when
00:33:22.340 you started in this company were you driven more by material success i want to make millions of
00:33:29.480 dollars or because i went through a phase where i figured this out i went through a phase where i
00:33:34.360 focused on the money i didn't make any money yep and then i focused on solving problems i started
00:33:37.640 to make money huge did you ever go through that you just you just nailed it so what got my attention
00:33:42.200 was the money was the money yeah that's what got my attention what got me to win what got me
00:33:47.000 productive was falling in love with the cause part of it of serving people which is not easy when
00:33:51.940 you're young no completely understand so what got my attention it sounds fucking bullshit it sounds
00:33:56.280 like it sounds like a it sounds like we're a couple of rich motherfuckers sitting around
00:34:00.220 making up bullshit stories telling people like that yeah oh oh uh like we're telling them idealistic
00:34:06.840 shit like oh if you focus on the people you know you'll make money instead of saying hey so toss all
00:34:12.300 that out i'll tell you why you need to do it i'll just give you the flat out reason why you better
00:34:15.220 fall in love with the serving people part because you ain't going to get a lot of money in the beginning
00:34:18.100 you're not getting a lamborghini the first three weeks nope so if the reason you're doing it
00:34:22.080 is bling and money initially and then you don't get it you'll be gone but you can immediately get the
00:34:27.720 feeling of helping somebody you can immediately get addicted to that you got to have a passion for
00:34:31.380 the process you better yeah and and so it's not just even a floaty you know philosophical rich guy
00:34:37.160 thing it's an actual how the hell you stay that's right what endures is your desire to help your
00:34:42.100 belief your passion for your product or what you do the problem you're solving because you're not if
00:34:46.520 you're a good business person you're going to be putting more money back in even if you're making it
00:34:50.240 anyway so if your whole reason is money and bling and stuff you probably aren't getting a whole lot
00:34:55.180 and you'll be out before you ever get it that's why i see so many people that make a little bit
00:35:00.560 they start showing it then they're gone they're gone they're gone they're gone by the way i love
00:35:04.260 those dudes because i can compete against them and kick their ass every day of the week i know when
00:35:07.820 i'm against someone who's just in it for themselves i do too just in it for money i'm like okay i don't
00:35:11.780 even need to really worry about you because you're a flash in the pan yeah you and i are talking about
00:35:15.680 guys won't say their names but even in this space like i'm not really worried about that dude yeah it's
00:35:19.240 a flash you're a fad you're you're i'm gonna be here today i was here 10 years ago and i'm gonna be here 20
00:35:24.900 fucking years from now 100 like the even your company even first form the first thing you and
00:35:28.640 i talked about is we started to walk around here i can't get you to talk about you because you're
00:35:32.420 humble you did two things that impressed me a you talked about each person in there and what was
00:35:37.120 awesome is you were edifying them and telling me great things about them and they're they will never
00:35:41.060 know you told me it was like it was on blast you felt it so it was about those people and serving
00:35:45.600 them and the other part of it was the unique quality way you make the product right you're like let me tell
00:35:50.680 you what's different like yeah this is why we're special this is why i'm passionate about this
00:35:54.760 and i'm like all right that's why this dude's so successful right that's why he's got 11 lamborghinis
00:35:59.580 wherever the hell i just looked at over there right i mean the unbelievable collection is because
00:36:02.920 that's the byproduct of you believing in what you do in people dude look man i think any of us
00:36:07.440 anybody the popular thing right now amongst instagramers and the young entrepreneurs is to become
00:36:14.960 the quote-unquote boss all right i fucking hate when people call me the boss i hate it i correct
00:36:21.740 them yeah i'm not the boss i'm part of the fucking team yeah i'm not your boss yeah yeah i'm not a
00:36:27.240 boss i don't tell you when to fucking eat and when to take a shit and when to go to sleep and when
00:36:31.040 i am not in charge of you i am here to inspire you and show you the way if you decide that sounds like
00:36:39.380 a good path then pursue that path but if not it doesn't hurt my feelings you can go on to other
00:36:46.360 my whole goal here for this company which by the way we are hiring just putting it out there
00:36:51.340 my whole goal here is to take people and make them better my goal is not to take people and keep them
00:37:00.160 here if it's not the best thing for them my goal is not to have little minions around here that tell
00:37:05.740 me how great i am my favorite fucking people here are the ones that challenge me in a genuine way
00:37:10.720 yeah in a genuine way there's nothing worse than the guy who challenges you because he thinks no one
00:37:14.640 else challenges you i hate those motherfuckers trying to stand out that way get the fuck out
00:37:18.280 right right i'll smash your face right okay what i like is people who genuinely disagree when i'm
00:37:24.200 saying something that they think i love that otherwise there's no new ideas right but we have
00:37:28.420 a genuine culture here like our people care our people care about what we're here to do what we are
00:37:34.480 here to do is to change the fitness industry to an industry that is inclusive of people who
00:37:41.300 genuinely wouldn't feel comfortable going to a gym yep my mom who's 100 pounds overweight she now
00:37:47.640 feels comfortable to go to places that that that she wouldn't normally feel comfortable our culture
00:37:52.320 is to is to provide change and all of our employees buy into that they understand that there's people out
00:37:57.860 there that need help and have been lied to over and over and over again by other companies and we all
00:38:03.960 believe that and we are a part of a greater mission and and so it's not me the boss yeah it's it's i'm
00:38:12.400 here to guide the ship like i'm the guy standing on the fucking front of the ship that says hey turn a
00:38:18.120 little bit to the left otherwise we're hit that fucking rock you know i'm saying like the dude this
00:38:22.960 ship ain't moving without these guys so i value them highly yeah i relate to that because uh even in my
00:38:28.160 business in the financial business so that's why i struggle to begin with what i do because i'm not in
00:38:33.140 charge i don't run it i'm no one's boss i don't own it like those kind of things but i am trying
00:38:37.040 to guide it and keep it yeah and i want those best ideas but the same thing like and i'm not trying to
00:38:41.480 brag on my business but it's the same stuff with money like the most important thing somebody can
00:38:45.460 have is their health yeah but right behind it is actually their money like most people don't know
00:38:48.980 how it works they don't understand how the process works they don't have the right advice
00:38:52.020 no dude and they've been told for generations because of the way that business used to be and there
00:38:56.780 was no accountability that anybody who was rich is somehow bad that's total bullshit yeah okay
00:39:02.400 there's a culture politically that's been created in the country that way too it's a thousand percent
00:39:06.320 delay but it's like guess what uh rich people pay most of the taxes it's not that they don't pay
00:39:10.420 their fair share and rich people do a whole lot of good things i fucking charity event i fucking love
00:39:15.140 money so do i i love it well and i know that's that's the against the bible quote the love of money
00:39:19.960 right the love of money is the root of all evil but i don't believe that i believe that you can love
00:39:25.600 money because you can fall in love with what it can do for people and you can love it for that reason
00:39:29.380 you're you're not giving yourself enough credit you love money as a means not an end that's a yeah
00:39:34.740 i don't love money i don't love money to like look at my money right yeah right you love me money as
00:39:39.940 i love money because you can buy bling brother fucker exactly but you love money as a means to
00:39:44.060 what it can do yeah and bill his high you right we did something similar right baseball fields for our
00:39:48.920 high schools and stuff that's the thing that people don't realize like i've been happy poor and i've
00:39:52.940 been happy rich happy rich is way better it's way better and then the other thing i can just tell you is
00:39:57.340 like those of you that are christians out there i'm a christian and you know by the way the part
00:40:01.120 of the bible that i think that that speaks to is actually that it's the worshiping of money over
00:40:04.580 worshiping right right not the love of it because but i just tell you something if you're a christian
00:40:08.300 out there just ask yourself this question if you're in any religion right you think that god doesn't
00:40:12.340 want his people being well educated and happy and safe and secure i say that all the time right it's
00:40:16.640 like of course that's the same argument i give to people i say to them yeah i'm like i'm like all right
00:40:20.420 so you're telling me you think money that god thinks money is bad right because i literally sat in church one
00:40:25.940 time at my brother's baptism of his first son and listen to this guy talk about how no rich person
00:40:32.600 will ever be to go to heaven and and i'm like i'm sitting here like dude i drove my rolls up there
00:40:38.000 you know i'm wearing a five thousand dollar suit i'm like thinking i'm a fucking baller and i'm
00:40:41.060 looking at this motherfucker like dude i'm seriously considering ripping your fucking head off
00:40:46.300 like do you know how hard i've worked and now you're telling me and and anyway it's a perversion of
00:40:51.520 that's scripture by the way that people use it's appropriate in my opinion you agree with that
00:40:55.540 vaughn yeah i think so i think the only thing and andy knows this and this is all i would tweak is
00:40:59.720 that i think that there's a whole strain of thinking that would tell some like you've you've
00:41:04.080 posted before on your ig andy uh there's a picture of the little kid in africa who barely has anything
00:41:09.020 and it says it puts you in perspective well there are people out there that would say well see that
00:41:13.420 that kid he he doesn't have enough faith or he doesn't actualize his potential that's why he's in
00:41:18.840 that situation i don't believe that okay i think that sometimes there are people who just have hard
00:41:23.160 situations well here's no question you know what i'm saying and so i don't think that if you're if
00:41:26.860 you honor god you automatically are going to be given all this money i think there's a lot of
00:41:31.000 situations that that are different but dude if if you have a son yeah you you had a son would you
00:41:37.780 not want him to be financially successful oh yeah would you not want him to have financial abundance
00:41:41.840 yeah would you not want him to take that money and turn into good shit for other people 100 yeah
00:41:47.460 yeah i've not been to a church that doesn't accept tithing yeah exactly dude that was the point of
00:41:52.900 the story that i was just getting into i believe uh i can't remember what episode it was on but we
00:41:57.500 talked about this right this dude gave this whole lecture about about blah blah blah blah blah rich
00:42:02.360 and then turns around and starts asking for donations isn't that interesting like yeah it's a shame
00:42:06.260 because i really strongly believe this i think some of us that are people of faith that we go to
00:42:09.880 churches and some of this is preached to us and we almost feel a guilt about being successful i mean
00:42:13.920 people message me about this stuff all the time right yeah what the what the what the scripture is
00:42:17.760 really saying in my mind we don't have to talk about scripture it's really talking about no it's
00:42:20.700 interesting the eye of a camel the the yes that's exactly the story he told yeah right well that's
00:42:25.460 really speaking to in my opinion and i don't need a bunch of messages to the contrary because
00:42:29.100 it serves me to believe this so don't message me about this if you disagree but it's really
00:42:32.600 talking about the fact that and there is truth to this the wealthier become the more
00:42:35.500 success we become it's more difficult in the sense that there's more temptations that can come
00:42:39.180 your way and so it requires you to be more vigilant more strong as you have more access to
00:42:43.600 more things that's the warning that the scripture i think is talking about i agree but the fact of
00:42:47.540 the matter is the lord your lord whatever you believe in i guarantee you he wants your family
00:42:51.680 safe secure educated prosperous giving contributory and it's bs if anybody's telling you other than that
00:42:58.100 well here's here's the danger here's the danger in this this is the danger i am a huge advocate of
00:43:03.660 the law of attraction whether you want to call it god whether you want to call it the universe
00:43:07.100 whether whatever you want to call it me too your thoughts and your focus are going to become
00:43:11.480 your life that is a fact and here is the problem when people tell people this they get afraid to say
00:43:18.360 they want money so they say things like this do you want to be successful and they'll look at me say
00:43:22.780 well i want to impact people i want to help people the money's not important when in their heart
00:43:28.360 the money is important of course and so what they're doing is they're sending a message
00:43:32.280 out into the universe that says yeah i don't like money yeah i don't want money i think
00:43:37.000 money is a bad thing and guess what's going to happen you're not going to get any 100 we're not
00:43:40.700 you and i were talking about tony robbins earlier right and we were talking about the one of the
00:43:43.920 first things i mentioned to you is how he's constantly messaging that he's the feeding america
00:43:48.180 thing that he does feeding the world it's like hey guess what people get fed because of people
00:43:51.880 that are successful there's so many good things you could be doing if you just have a little bit
00:43:56.380 more money and a little bit more access to different people so please if you get anything
00:44:00.240 release that feeling like if you have a bad feeling about money figure out how to get over
00:44:06.820 it 100 money's great you should love money because of what it can do for you and your life and your
00:44:11.080 family you don't have to drive a fucking lambo like of course not if it's off-putting to have
00:44:15.380 material shit don't have any right but have the money and give it away you got it that's right you
00:44:20.120 and i know a bunch of guys like i have some some of my richest friends would not be caught dead in
00:44:24.940 your lambo or my ferrari right some of my richest friends okay but they're rich and they're good
00:44:29.800 people and they make a difference for people and at the end of their life the rest of the world was
00:44:35.240 better because they lived here and one of the reasons is because of the reach they had because
00:44:39.940 of money and so if you want to make the world better if that's your deal it's hard to do in your
00:44:45.140 one bedroom apartment alone when you can't get anywhere or do anything it's limited your influence
00:44:50.740 dude and i tell people this too man you have to be really careful with this when you see someone
00:44:56.020 making money when you see someone successful when you see someone driving a lamborghini when you see
00:45:00.580 someone who's doing something even if you don't agree with that they're driving a lambo it's not
00:45:05.240 your thing you better not fucking hate on them because that hate is vibes it's going out in the
00:45:10.520 universe it's going in it's going into the fucking universe it's saying the same thing i said before
00:45:14.620 it's saying you know what i hate money you know what i hate success you know what i hate i hate all the
00:45:20.200 things that come with money and you know what happens you're broke let me say two quick things
00:45:25.420 so you're probably familiar with the parable jesus tells about the parable of the rich fool the guy
00:45:31.480 that spends his whole life amassing wealth amassing wealth and then one night god says you fool
00:45:36.520 tonight you forfeit your life but there's a super super important word in there and it's a very small
00:45:41.660 word he says you're gonna basically said to the guy you die you're gonna go to hell it's because
00:45:47.840 you were rich in the things of the world but you were not rich toward god and toward other people
00:45:55.200 right so that key word being but and i think people miss say because right it doesn't say because
00:46:01.540 and i think it's possible to to really honor god if if that parable was rewritten he says hey
00:46:07.800 you're faithful you're faithful because you were rich in the things of the world and you were rich
00:46:14.420 toward god and other people and i think that makes a huge difference but for what it what for me what
00:46:18.760 it all comes down to is one word stewardship and that is if you have the potential and you have the
00:46:23.360 ability to earn all that money and use it for good you're being a good steward of the gifts that god
00:46:28.060 has given you and if you say yeah ultimately at the end of the day this isn't mine this is god's i
00:46:33.100 want to use it for how how it's going to honor the world then yes earn as much money as possible and
00:46:37.520 that's not to say you don't have to give it all away right right right that's not to say that you
00:46:41.020 you you can't ever buy a lambo or you can't buy enjoy nice things but for me it's like what
00:46:46.160 dude that's being a message that's dude that lambo is a message that lambo tell you know how
00:46:52.200 many little kids come up to my lambo and ask me what the fuck i do or how i got it right dozens
00:46:56.760 every time i get gas every time i get gas i get people to come up and they're like dude
00:47:00.760 that is so cool what do you do right and i'm like well i started a business when i was this i give
00:47:07.160 the whole story i don't just like drive off and like ignore them i tell them and they're like that
00:47:12.360 is awesome and you know what that is why i became successful because i had an experience like that
00:47:17.820 right i had an experience where i saw someone who was just who drove a fucking white lamborghini
00:47:22.600 and and i figured out hey well you know what i kind of want that that'd be kind of cool
00:47:26.040 dude thousands of people eat because of that dude i love the word you used worship is the money there
00:47:32.060 so that you think you're the center of the universe worship the money they're wealthy and
00:47:37.260 they worship money they're fucking miserable they're miserable people yeah they're mean to
00:47:40.320 people they're miserable to people yeah yeah i don't uh i don't worship money i mean i never
00:47:44.600 even thought about it can i say one cheesy thing about this that's gonna sound really corny for those
00:47:48.560 people that do have faith by the way i think thoughts and prayers i love how you said that
00:47:51.820 if you're a religious person then thoughts are prayers all of your thoughts are prayers right and if
00:47:56.400 you're not a religious person then it is how you think you materialize in your life but
00:47:59.040 if you are a person of faith like of any type stop checking god at the door everywhere you you
00:48:04.880 carry god everywhere in your life except in your business so it's like all of a sudden you think
00:48:08.420 it's just up to you it's like i honestly think like these dreams you have in your heart this sounds
00:48:12.880 hokey but it's too big no this is this is reality dude so here's my thought on that just for people
00:48:17.520 of faith i think the dreams that you have of your life the visions you have they're not there by mistake
00:48:23.240 i think they were put there and i think that i think honestly god's putting them there and he knows you
00:48:28.640 can't get there without him partnering with you and i really believe god believes that for you to
00:48:33.320 achieve your dreams he put them there so it'll get you drawn closer to him so if you are a person of
00:48:37.540 faith don't check god at the door bring god into your business downtown i'll talk about it all the
00:48:41.580 time but i i just tell you all so i'm buff dude tattoos intense dude i love great stuff but i was on
00:48:47.740 my knees this morning i was on my knees last night i pray for guidance and wisdom and favor and i have
00:48:53.140 god in my business god's my number one business partner i'll just tell you that straight up i struggle
00:48:56.480 with faith like everybody else does but for me my dreams were put there by god and for me to get
00:49:01.220 there i need to get closer to god and so just for me i know that's not everyone in your audience that
00:49:05.140 consumes this but that's really my belief what's cool what's cool too and this works for me too
00:49:09.720 because i pray too and like i don't talk about it a lot but i have my own personal i don't either
00:49:12.880 you know and i'm not you know embarrassed of that this is what i fucking do you know and
00:49:17.220 but your success personally because i can remember when i was dead broke and i used to fucking pray
00:49:23.540 for for success okay and i always told god i said god you make me successful i will help other
00:49:29.740 people become successful i will help people i will give money i will do everything i can
00:49:33.160 i'm fulfilling that obligation people ask me why i do certain things like like for example i love that
00:49:39.680 andy okay so so listen so so my friend i'm i'm not gonna say his name my friend owns an auto detailing
00:49:46.780 business um he's going through some really hard times like really hard like closing his he calls me
00:49:52.640 he says hey man uh i got some car lifts uh that you know i don't i don't need anymore and i said
00:49:59.620 were you moving he's like no i gotta close and i'm like you're not closing bro i'm like what's the
00:50:04.320 deal and he's like well i owe 8 500 bucks okay so i i wire him 12 grand i said here's the 8 500 pay
00:50:11.560 the rent here's and by the way if you ask me for fucking money i'm not giving it to you just so you
00:50:15.240 know this is a friend of mine your dms are blowing up right now this is this is a guy this is a guy
00:50:21.520 who has done things for me in the past okay he's he's connecting me with people he's a reason why i've
00:50:27.240 been able to get on this path i owed him i wired him 12 grand the next fucking week he fucking has an
00:50:35.380 injury on his hand okay like a bad one he cuts his fucking thumb off all right oh my gosh yeah on a
00:50:40.660 table saw the the so then he has to have surgery has no insurance no money so i gotta wire him
00:50:46.880 another fucking 10 grand okay he's like well why are you doing this he can't understand why i'm doing
00:50:51.360 it i'm doing it because i'm fulfilling my obligation that i said i would for the last 20 years right okay
00:50:58.440 and you're the point i'm trying to make here you said you struggle with faith there's been nothing
00:51:04.720 that's solidified my faith me too more than my own success me too because it's what i fucking prayed
00:51:09.960 for right me too i just i'm just so clear about that intensely dude me too i and by the way i
00:51:14.340 love that you're saying that because i bet you most of your audience didn't know that part and so
00:51:17.600 when i say i struggle with it i struggle with the balance of what we're talking about well we would
00:51:21.860 be extremely is right yeah what do you mean well i struggle with that balance that we're talking
00:51:26.980 about between making sure that i'm staying uh true to what my faith is and still growing and
00:51:31.880 change it's an oh it's always a balance in life right listen man listen there's not a more harsh
00:51:37.980 critic on ourselves than ourselves that's right that's what i'm saying and like the fact that
00:51:42.260 you're questioning that about yourself says really good things about you thank you because most people
00:51:48.020 don't they they will get somewhere or they get something and then instead of saying okay god had a
00:51:54.140 part in this they're saying oh i'm great they start believing their own shit like dude i don't lay in
00:51:59.240 bed at night and think i did this me either ever and by the way the few times i have is when i've had
00:52:05.140 setbacks and so i i don't know if it's god getting saying hey i'm gonna wake you back up brother
00:52:09.020 but i've had that happen to me before i'm surprised that we've gone in this direction but that's exactly
00:52:12.680 true i'm i'm caught i made the same promise as you except the other promise i made at that time
00:52:17.320 as i said if i do that i'm gonna make sure everybody knows where this really came from and i'll talk about
00:52:20.720 it regularly right because everyone knows i'm screwed up i'm flawed i'm a zoo i can mess up like
00:52:24.700 everybody else and i want people to know that i i struggle with confidence i struggle with all that shit
00:52:29.580 though because dude see and that's the difference between you that's why you're on this fucking show
00:52:33.960 and that's why we're becoming good friends you are secure enough with yourself to tell people
00:52:40.060 about your flaws i try to do the same as much as i can because i want people to know i don't need
00:52:47.660 your i don't need your praise i don't need your compliments i don't need you thinking i'm some sort
00:52:53.000 of entrepreneurial god i want you to know that i am just like you because i want you to be inspired
00:53:00.140 that you can be on this path and be successful i don't need what some of the other guys need i
00:53:05.080 don't need everyone to think i'm amazing right i'm not amazing i'm not either i have doubts i have
00:53:09.200 flaws i got weaknesses i got insecurities and so i think that's so powerful thank you for being that
00:53:14.820 way because this is what this space needs we have too many people in this and i'm sorry for
00:53:21.580 interrupting you we have too many people in this space that want to be worshiped yeah for lack of a
00:53:28.240 better word as some sort of genius entrepreneurs are not geniuses they're people who don't quit
00:53:34.380 they're people who can learn from their mistakes and they're people who can endure they don't have
00:53:40.020 some people do have a little bit more of a skill set than than what others do just like anything like
00:53:45.940 you know just like somebody's going to be naturally good at running and you might be naturally good
00:53:50.400 at lifting or whatever you know what i'm saying sure people are going to have other strengths that you
00:53:55.040 don't have but that doesn't mean that you can't do it you don't i get i get really frustrated with
00:54:00.780 some of the entrepreneurs out there because they take their self gratification over serving over
00:54:09.580 serving and and by doing that they're telling certain people because i can remember what it's
00:54:17.700 like to not believe in myself you know what i'm saying and like dude if somebody were to tell me
00:54:22.100 well i'm great because i have this great skill i wouldn't i wouldn't be inspired by that i would
00:54:26.540 be frustrated by it i would say well fuck you know this guy's there because he's he's gifted he's not
00:54:32.120 there because of that he did anything you know that i can do well i can't do it so i might as well
00:54:36.560 go work at white castles you're right you know and i i was fortunate enough to have a dad who never
00:54:44.240 fucking gave up not only did he not give up on me he just wouldn't accept anything else you know
00:54:49.020 what i mean and and when i was struggling and when i was wanting to sell my business and get out of it
00:54:53.120 or close the business i would tell everybody i sold it he's like look man you're never going to work
00:54:57.000 for someone else you don't have the mentality to it and that's true i don't i'm stubborn as fuck yeah
00:55:00.580 you know i'm saying i've learned to be less stubborn yeah but back then dude there's nobody in the world
00:55:05.320 that could have tolerated me as an employee you know what i mean and uh i don't know man i i'm just
00:55:11.580 grateful for you to be sending that message man because well i'm like you man i'm like i'm i'm on
00:55:19.580 this journey with the people that follow me on instagram with my people on social media and all
00:55:24.340 i am is i'm further down the road than you yeah and so i can look back and tell you here's the wrong
00:55:28.760 turns i took here's the mistakes i took here's what i'm struggling with now and like you said about
00:55:33.280 your dad my dad did that too my best friends around me here's what they bring to me more than anything
00:55:38.560 they believe in me and they're honest with me right and so i want people around me that's what
00:55:42.980 i want to be for you like people that listen to this i want to i want to believe in you and be
00:55:46.620 honest with you if i told you i was perfect i got it all figured out i'm totally confident all the
00:55:50.700 time i know exactly where i'm going that's total bullshit it's not true at all right i'm figuring
00:55:54.680 out as i go i have some recipes and some formulas but i don't have all the answers but what i will tell
00:55:59.900 you about this money topic to finish that up here's the deal if you're listening to this you should
00:56:04.240 become the go-to person in your family like you're the go-to dude in your family
00:56:08.180 and with your friends the story you just told about your detailing but i'm the go-to man right
00:56:12.500 like they need something they come to me they need help support money whatever it is i'm the go-to i've
00:56:17.880 taken on that role that leadership role in my family i can't take that on without money hey
00:56:23.600 it's i gotta win it's an honor it's an honor to be the guy that everybody expects to pay for dinner
00:56:29.220 yeah it is you know what i'm saying i used to think people will say slow on the draw but now i get it
00:56:34.340 i know people people they're they people come to me and they're like dude do you ever get tired of
00:56:38.020 paying for dinner yeah fuck no i don't get tired of paying for dinner i don't either it's an honor
00:56:41.800 man it's an honor it's an it's an honor to help people like what we're we're talking about right
00:56:45.520 now like these are the issues all the things we're talking about is what the person listening to this
00:56:49.120 story faith right self-confidence money all these different things is what they actually struggle
00:56:54.500 with and it's we're just like you we do too i just want to say guys too you don't hear me say
00:56:58.840 this very often but this is somebody that you should be following this is somebody that you
00:57:03.040 should be learning from and emulating and let dude the content that you're putting out is amazing
00:57:08.360 thank you it's very i learn from it every day okay so easy to watch yeah so i just want to say i just
00:57:14.000 it's a sexy voice man it's a sexy ed my letter voice so the italian face for radio thank you so dude
00:57:21.420 welcome to the club hey i i think we all qualify for that i'm pretty sure yeah so uh but i i'm just
00:57:28.400 saying guys this this is somebody this is a guy who has built something real he's not somebody who's
00:57:33.900 making his money from selling info products or courses and hat and by the way there's nothing
00:57:38.720 wrong with that as long as you've done what you say that you're selling you know just go to his page
00:57:45.480 give him a follow and watch his watch three or four of his videos and you'll understand what i mean
00:57:49.420 spell it out because people are bad spellers oh you can go to ed my let e d m y l e t t on instagram
00:57:55.400 and then i've got ed my let dot com i got a youtube channel too and i'm gonna put out tons
00:57:59.460 of content you're about to be on one of my programs tony robbins has been on there grant
00:58:02.700 cardone we're getting ready to speak at 10x together 10x together which i'm excited about
00:58:06.480 i got a lot of my athlete buddies are going to be coming on too and then just like me on this
00:58:09.680 journey here's the tips here's the things i've learned here's the things that help dude i love
00:58:12.840 your instagram videos man like they're only a minute long but like i get a lot out of them like
00:58:17.040 thank you like uh the one that we the one that i really liked uh was the one that you
00:58:21.480 talked about uh the transfer of energy transfer of energy dude that spoke to me so much because i
00:58:28.380 i feel like that's one skill that every i feel like i've mastered it i was gonna tell you you
00:58:34.800 mastered that like my attraction to you in this space your contents first off it's real stuff
00:58:41.660 that's applicable that you can use right like i don't like guys who just repeat themselves all the
00:58:45.240 time so your stuff's real but it's not even what you're saying it's your energy it's like dude like
00:58:49.780 when you speak i move like i'm something in me's altered or different when you finish the sentence
00:58:54.840 than before you started it and that's how you get people closed persuaded and move dude that's the
00:58:59.080 ultimate compliment by the way thank you i i feel like that's something that all of you listening
00:59:05.260 could improve on okay and and i say that because i can improve on it even being where i'm at me too
00:59:10.480 you know what i'm saying uh if you can master and i don't even know why the fuck i'm going down this
00:59:16.280 road but it's just something that you said it comes off the video it was a great video thank you
00:59:20.200 he sent it in a group text immediately to like three of us i said to the whole company i said
00:59:25.120 the whole company i said it to the all the group i have like 10 group texts for all the companies i
00:59:29.240 sent to everybody thanks dude if you guys can master the transfer of enthusiasm just just pick
00:59:36.040 it feels weird at first so let me can i tell my story i want to tell my story this is my fucking
00:59:40.500 show i do what i want do it i'm gonna tell a story so he's asking permission yeah so yeah i give you
00:59:46.080 permission this is this is a good testimonial this is my testimonial to enthusiasm when i started in
00:59:51.720 business when when we got enough money to do our first radio ad i i didn't have anybody to do the
00:59:58.860 ad so i had to do it i didn't know how to do a radio ad so i wrote what i thought was a good script
01:00:05.560 i went into the radio station to record it okay i i was nervous i was scared i didn't know what the
01:00:12.220 fuck i was doing i started reading the script i'm like hey everybody this is andy from supplement
01:00:17.460 super stores like we sell supplements like i swear that's how bad it was that's awesome and so i had
01:00:23.960 this guy i had this guy and it's kind of ironic considering what the fuck i do now which is how
01:00:28.520 i'm known as by the podcast but i had this guy and i'll never forget him his name was bear all right
01:00:34.900 and and bear was very very gay all right and listen and it's it's no coincidence that his name
01:00:41.300 was bear all right he was a bear he's like you know a beard like you know what gay guys like in a
01:00:47.580 bear if you're gay you know what the fuck i'm talking about so anyway what is he talking about
01:00:52.140 right now yeah tyler you know what i'm talking about so anyway so so this dude was very very gay
01:00:59.240 but he was the fucking best dude ever and he this dude impacted me okay gross
01:01:06.400 oh you motherfucker impacted you're fucking fired all right if you make a video clip out of that i
01:01:15.080 will beat your ass oh that's going in the black all right so anyway so i don't know what it says
01:01:19.520 about me that i immediately picked up on what i was saying after he impacted me all right no for real
01:01:25.780 though dude bear i'm reading the script and i'm like hello this is andy from supplement super
01:01:30.620 stores you know terrible i'm doing a terrible job i'm a fucking wreck he fucking grabs me and he
01:01:35.880 impacts me no i'm just kidding so bear bear looks at me he goes look dude he goes i'm just gonna do
01:01:43.500 you a favor right now and i'm like okay he goes you fucking suck and i'm like all right well where's
01:01:48.280 the fucking favor and he's like look you got to be loud and you got to be loud and queer and you got
01:01:54.320 to get in the microphone and you got to and like he starts raising his voice and getting excited
01:01:58.080 he's like you got to do it like this he goes because people respond to emotion people respond
01:02:03.460 to energy people respond to what you put out and what you put out through your voice is going to
01:02:09.200 become your ultimate skill this fucking guy told me that i never saw him ever again in my life sure
01:02:14.780 i didn't know what the fuck he's talking about can't see people who are behind you one nighter yeah
01:02:18.720 i never i never saw him i felt him but look so this this guy fucking says that and and i immediately
01:02:25.620 i try to i try to do it right i try to like up my enthusiasm and ads still sucked okay but i always
01:02:32.880 remember the conversation and i always remembered it every time i went in to record a hundred more ads
01:02:38.300 and a hundred more ads and a hundred more ads and eventually guess what all you motherfuckers listen
01:02:43.060 to me because i'm good because bear who impacted me told me how to be on the fucking microphone
01:02:47.980 but the point of what i'm trying to say here is this enthusiasm can make up for anything else huge
01:02:54.460 by the way the reason you're good now just not to interrupt you but here's the reason you're good
01:02:57.560 the reason you're better at than you were in the beginning is that because you really are inspired
01:03:01.700 you really are to have energy you can't transfer to somebody that which you don't experience or you
01:03:05.960 don't have you can't give me what you don't have right so this can't just be a technique like oh i'm
01:03:10.960 going to pretend to be enthusiastic i'm going to i'm going to talk like andy right you have to come
01:03:14.740 from you got to do it your way it may your enthusiasm may be by getting quieter right hey
01:03:19.100 man let me get serious with you for a minute right and like you dial it that way it's going to be your
01:03:22.740 way so you can't it's got to come from here here it's got to come from you and you give it to me and
01:03:27.080 if you really have it like if you really believe in what you're doing your product or whatever it is
01:03:31.560 you really feel it you can transfer it to me but you have to be conscious of doing it can't be just
01:03:35.940 like a speech right there's all different ways to transfer energy to people but you can't give them
01:03:40.680 any if you don't have it because that's what energy is it's moved the reason you're a great
01:03:43.960 speaker just so you know bros want to tell you this there's a difference between being
01:03:46.740 motivational and inspirational huge freaking difference yeah motivation is like you just say
01:03:51.380 words to play to people's motives five seconds later they don't forget about you got it inspiration
01:03:55.700 is you've done something in spirit that's the root of inspiration it's in spirits like that's
01:03:59.700 energy you want you don't want to be motivational you want to be inspirational i actually get
01:04:04.520 i actually get irritated when people say that to me oh he's a motivational speaker i hate it i hate it
01:04:09.220 because i'm not but i hope i am inspirational my delivery is motivational my my information
01:04:15.500 is practical yeah well that's very true but yeah yeah very true i mean that's i don't pride myself
01:04:20.860 to try people like oh you're so motivating i'm like fuck before we get too far off of uh can i
01:04:28.260 introduce a thread from the earlier statement or the earlier conversation about uh dreams yeah having
01:04:33.060 dreams and visions yeah so you were mentioning his videos on his ig but there's some incredible
01:04:37.160 videos on your website too and one of them you talk about dreams and visions and i love the way
01:04:41.520 that you talked about the importance of having a dream because whenever you try to do something great
01:04:46.980 you're going to have an adversity and you need a dream to sustain you through that adversity so why
01:04:52.300 don't you talk a little bit about that and then i also loved how you talked about dreams being like
01:04:56.280 a muscle like once you accomplish one it gets bigger and bigger and the way you start becoming like a
01:05:01.400 dream maker you just to talk about that because i thought that was incredible well the dream part of it
01:05:06.040 you can call your vision your outcome whatever you want to call it i use the word dream in that
01:05:09.080 particular video but the big thing is this is that you got to have something pulling you somewhere
01:05:12.860 without you having to think about it all the time right so uh dreams there's two things that move
01:05:17.660 you in life only two things if you're like hey i want to right now i'm not inspired how do i get
01:05:21.540 inspired i'll give you the let me distill it down i'll tell you how there's only two things that
01:05:24.960 inspire you literally two in the world your dreams like things you want to do and the second one is
01:05:31.580 other people those are the two things your dreams and other people it's what we've been
01:05:34.780 talking about today so you go i don't know how to get you get in touch with what do i want what are
01:05:38.060 my dreams and who are the other people i want to do it for because most of you won't do all that
01:05:42.020 much shit for yourself but someone you love that you care about your dad right like your family your
01:05:46.720 children your grandchildren you can get in touch with that now you're in spirit now you're inspired so
01:05:51.080 those are the two things you must obsess on is your dreams and other people because the world's
01:05:55.120 feeding you constantly distractions put downs haters failure you're gonna have 99 of that if you're not
01:06:01.600 feeding into your mind and your heart those two things you're gonna get eaten alive all the time
01:06:05.980 and then as in terms of dreams look what you said about a muscle it you've already watched this my
01:06:11.200 first dream wasn't have a freaking jet in three mansions right my first jet is i want to get out
01:06:15.180 of debt and get financially independent that was my first one then i caught that one and it's like
01:06:18.700 anything you build i caught that one it's like a muscle that got bigger and bigger all of a sudden
01:06:22.600 now it's like and you're this way too it's almost scary when you start getting that muscle built or that
01:06:26.500 vibe built you can almost point your mind at something like a weapon almost you're like boom i have
01:06:31.460 to be careful i say this to people so when i said about the law of attraction like i have to be
01:06:37.360 fucking careful what i focus on like i have to be careful what i focus on i love you dude this is
01:06:42.540 what i talk about all the time if i if i'm i've got that muscle now built so much over the years yeah
01:06:47.180 that if i start wanting stuff i shouldn't want i get that too by the way which includes problems like
01:06:52.480 that's one thing you successful people out there it's like you start worrying about stuff and think about
01:06:56.440 you will literally draw that stuff into your world when you become more of an attractor of stuff
01:07:00.940 if i get if i get in that fucking worry mode like that because like you and i are both we both don't
01:07:05.600 want to be broke again so i guarantee you you have this part of your brain that worries about it i do
01:07:09.980 and and dude when i start fucking focusing on that that's when all the bad shit my business starts
01:07:14.260 happening me too i get this and that and this and that and this and then i'm like fuck yep me too i
01:07:18.620 need to get back to focusing on because then that what that does is that puts me in where i'm in like
01:07:22.480 that stress state me too and then i start focusing on the big shit again yeah shit gets better that's the
01:07:26.700 contrast so that's the dream right the big shits are dreams right so i'm that it's something that
01:07:30.840 if you're not there yet you're going to get there it's like you better early in your life build the
01:07:34.660 muscle of visioning and seeing what you want and getting really clear about who it is you're doing
01:07:39.360 it for because those are the things that will like right now if you have kids if i said picture their
01:07:44.000 faces if i just told you just like you have little kids picture their faces see their eyes see their
01:07:48.060 beautiful face right it's like all of a sudden your whole freaking state changed man you moms that are out
01:07:52.080 there if there's any like someone messes with your six-year-old at school you want to see a woman
01:07:55.980 slap somebody back it's messed with their kids right dads your children or like in our case our
01:08:00.980 parents right or our spouse like you will do stuff for them you'll never do for you because your love
01:08:06.460 for them is actually greater than the shit that gets thrown your way and so that's bigger you got
01:08:11.600 to put things in front of you bigger than this that gives you perspective as you said earlier so
01:08:15.560 that's why i'm big on this dream stuff and feeding that all the time and you're going to see the
01:08:19.460 muscle girl trust me when you start to catch a few you've already seen this before man you didn't
01:08:24.080 you you have all those cars in there each of those was a dream you caught and they were they were easier
01:08:29.100 and easier as you did the first one was the hardest one to get so it's a matter of building that muscle
01:08:33.000 dude that and when you on a on a positive note when you build that that muscle as you say it
01:08:40.180 because this is a great way to put it it does work just like that when you build that muscle man
01:08:44.280 i first of all i know i can do anything like i i truly believe it like when i talk to people and
01:08:51.800 they say hey what are you doing what are you gonna do with first form so i'm making a multi-billion
01:08:54.960 dollar brand yep you will yeah i don't even it's like you you can't know it because you can't feel
01:09:01.460 what's inside of me but my confidence in that statement is so strong it's like i don't even doubt
01:09:06.900 it and when you can get to that point because you've done it over and over and over again i know
01:09:11.660 you're the same way too yep dude you're you know you've got some power man you got it and you start
01:09:16.920 believing in that you start and you said about building confidence that's one of your favorite
01:09:20.300 talks to give that's confidence big time you know when you can look at something you say fuck i can
01:09:25.240 do that i'm gonna do that exactly i'm i am going to do that guess what i'm gonna do that by this time
01:09:30.720 and you don't doubt it now you're in some serious shit i i think it's cool like um i think the whole
01:09:39.000 journey of entrepreneurship and success financial success and you know when i say entrepreneur you
01:09:46.380 can be an entrepreneur minded person and work inside of a great company and still do very well
01:09:49.980 the whole journey of that process is to me is so interesting because of what you learn about how
01:09:56.960 things actually work and i don't mean how things actually work you know like you know there's the
01:10:01.460 secret society out there the skulls i mean like how things really work like when you visualize
01:10:06.100 things and when you think about things and when you you uh dream things and you go through those
01:10:10.860 processes and then you see them come true dude you know when you talk about faith like there's nothing
01:10:17.300 that will convince you that confirm your faith yes that confirms that there's a higher presence out
01:10:22.180 there that that than that like when you can when you can like that's what i meant by god drawing you
01:10:29.180 closer to him if you're not a god person the universe drawing you closer the greatest confirmation of your
01:10:33.360 faith is you go wow i thought this i dreamt it i prayed here it is here wow right it's like evidence
01:10:39.120 of faith and people say well faith means that you have it when there is an evidence well it's not
01:10:43.260 necessarily true there's i can have evidence for my faith right and i can tell you straight up a lot
01:10:47.660 of the victories in my life the things that i've done that i've accomplished has been the greatest
01:10:51.220 confirmation of my faith we talked about i talked about this before i forget what podcast it was but
01:10:56.400 we talked about how um you know belief the work is going to come before the belief which also
01:11:01.400 ultimately creates the faith you know you're not going to believe in the beginning you're not going
01:11:05.520 to so you just have to trust somebody that tells you hey motherfucker you got to do this this and this
01:11:09.300 you got it and you got to go out and do it and and eventually you'll start to see a result and then
01:11:12.700 you'll start to develop a little belief you do a little more work a little more belief a little
01:11:16.520 more work a little more belief eventually get to the part where you just have faith yeah by the way
01:11:20.500 you just hit the hardest part because we're going to be you know that much time i just want to say
01:11:23.280 this to everybody too because i just see you just nailed it and you talk about this all the time people love to
01:11:26.680 think and believe and have faith they don't love to work yeah and so the bottom line is the element of this
01:11:31.300 that's the separator yeah it's bottom line is freaking work is out grinding out hustling busting
01:11:36.300 your tail doing more the secret of doing that is two things a if you outwork everybody you've put in
01:11:42.400 more reps more work you're just more likely to win but there's a huge reason for it and that's this
01:11:47.200 you'll never ever ever in your life get more out of anything than you think you deserve or your worth
01:11:53.960 and so one of the things when you're doing stuff no one else is willing to do over and over and over again
01:11:58.940 this weird thing starts happening to your mind where you go i am doing shit no one else is willing
01:12:03.840 to do here and what starts to happen you don't even know what's happening you go and so i deserve
01:12:08.060 i'm worth more than other people i deserve stuff they're not getting because i've been doing
01:12:12.740 shit forever they're not willing to do that's how you build self-confidence like self-confidence is
01:12:18.760 built starting foundation you i want to be more self-confident it's really simple okay the foundation
01:12:23.320 of self-confidence is you keep promises you make to yourself dude you tell yourself you're going to do
01:12:27.840 something and you do it you tell yourself you're going to do something it's get up at a certain
01:12:31.020 time go to the gym at a certain time make a certain amount of phone calls when you start doing stuff
01:12:35.220 you tell yourself you're going to do you start to have self self-confidence is self-trust when i meet
01:12:40.180 a dude like you who's super self-confident i don't think it's ego i think this dude has a track record with
01:12:45.400 himself of keeping promises he makes to him he can trust him that's what self-confidence is so if you
01:12:51.980 mirror up self-confidence and you have some kind of faith you're a deadly weapon in business man
01:12:57.800 yeah you have both things you can't just have faith in some external thing you can trust yourself
01:13:01.660 that can go for the guy sweeping the warehouse you got two guys who sweep the warehouse the guys one
01:13:06.200 guy sweeps it better every day and also by the way he breaks down the boxes also by the way he helps
01:13:10.400 the other guys pack the boxes also by the way he uh he he pulls all the tape off of all the floor
01:13:16.080 the spots on the floor he's doing more than the other guy eventually when he does more than the other
01:13:20.320 guy he's going to believe he's better than the other guy boom okay when he starts believing he's
01:13:24.400 better than the other guy guess what he goes to the his superior and he says hey you know what i
01:13:29.140 deserve to make more money than this guy the reason that you guys have problems making money and moving
01:13:34.220 forward and asking for raises and you feel guilty is because you know you're not any fucking better
01:13:39.000 than what you're getting that's right so when you go into when you if you were to go ask for a raise
01:13:44.040 right now could you do so without feeling nervous about it if you feel nervous about a raise it's because
01:13:49.440 you know that you don't fucking deserve the raise when you deserve the raise and you know you deserve
01:13:54.280 the raise you should have no problem looking at somebody in the face say dude i'm doing this this
01:13:59.180 this and this that motherfucker ain't doing it i deserve more yep and you know what you're not
01:14:04.820 gonna have a problem asking for more you don't oh if you live in the united states you made a good
01:14:08.360 example about somewhere i'm gonna tell you if you live in the united states you will eventually get
01:14:13.440 out of everything eventually what you think you're worth that is a fact okay as a fact and so
01:14:18.900 where you are right now it's hard to accept this but it's what you think you're worth and the more
01:14:23.800 and more you start putting in the effort start keeping promises you make to yourself and you do
01:14:27.500 it long term man you don't have a one week track record with you but you got a three year a five
01:14:32.660 year track record with you you are going to start to get what you think you're worth you're going to
01:14:36.160 start to get with you what you deserve i love you probably do this too i have this like radar for
01:14:42.000 self-confident world-class people at anything like you know the difference you have an average server in a
01:14:47.100 restaurant it's some extraordinary lady you're like yeah man this lady's yeah and she knows she's
01:14:52.160 awesome at it in that area she might have self-confidence when she leaves the restaurant
01:14:56.180 but in that space she freaking owns it she's awesome or school teachers at school or there's
01:15:01.760 a difference when you walk into a doctor's office i'm gonna tell you right now we've all had an average
01:15:06.400 doctor and you walk in this this woman or this dude is extraordinary they got this different confidence
01:15:11.940 that emanates from them because they've been keeping promises they make to themselves they've been doing
01:15:15.420 stuff no one else is willing to do for a long time that's the formula hell yeah dude the other
01:15:20.180 thing i want to hit on that too is like there's like these this is a popular thing for people to
01:15:23.680 say especially on the instagram these days know your worth you know what motherfucker if you if you
01:15:30.700 if people around you don't know your worth you're probably not that fucking good that's right if you
01:15:34.900 got a post on the internet know your worth and some meme and talk about how nobody knows what you're
01:15:38.960 worth that's because you ain't worth nothing you haven't shown anybody anything you haven't you
01:15:43.840 haven't uh shown people that you are worth that so if you have to wonder about what you're worth
01:15:50.040 you're worth with a fucking worth you're right we're talking about earlier before we got on air
01:15:53.760 about tom brady i promise you when that dude walks on the practice field with the patriots he
01:15:57.540 doesn't need to know his worth or put a meme out about what he's worth or explain everybody's
01:16:01.340 my biggest pet peeve about people is when they say oh it's time people i got around people that
01:16:07.840 know my worth motherfucker everybody around you knows your worth that's right you're worth what the fuck
01:16:12.200 you're worth you're the one that's out of line with what you're worth you know what i'm saying
01:16:15.360 like dude when you're worth something everybody fucking knows it and by the way when you're worth
01:16:18.860 something you don't ever feel the need to tell everybody you have to tell them the fact that
01:16:22.200 you're telling them means you don't really believe it know your worth yeah you're covering up
01:16:25.340 the fuck out of here with that yeah you're right you're worth what the fuck you're worth
01:16:28.500 how do you really feel about that dude it's the most annoying meme on the face of the earth
01:16:34.700 know your worth what the fuck does that even mean know your worth everybody knows what
01:16:38.880 you're worth you're worth the fuck you're worth you're not you're not exhibiting your whatever
01:16:43.520 you think it is that you're worth or otherwise you would be getting what the fuck you think you
01:16:47.360 deserve you have it you know what i'm saying anyway where we at tyler hour we got time to
01:16:53.760 talk about your wet panties who says i'm wearing panties oh man oh well i will take i will take
01:17:02.700 the joke of the day for being impacted by bear so heavily by bear that was awesome bear got me
01:17:08.820 hey i'm not ashamed of it man there ain't nothing wrong with that bear help me out now i'm a

01:17:55.760 there's a ton of shit that we don't know there's dude we know far far what am i trying to say here
01:18:01.760 we know about this much yeah and there's far more that we don't know and i think you guys have to
01:18:10.460 understand that nobody you look up to financially has it all figured out okay we're just willing to

01:18:34.380 and it's how you see things and it's how you you know react and how you do things and how you think
01:18:39.640 about things and i just i just think that there's too many people out there that are trying to be
