00:00:37.660 co-host here Vaughn the pastor of disaster I'm really really digging the dramatic pauses you 1.00

00:00:43.700 know I gotta change it up dude because like I'm even getting tired of hearing the same exact thing

00:00:47.640 yeah so like since I'm not that creative I figured the best way to do it would be just a pause yeah

00:00:52.020 no it's good you know sometimes they call that a pregnant pause but I don't know if that'd be did

00:00:56.640 you were you Vaughn the impregnator you actually are hopefully not for you yeah three times but

00:01:01.840 yeah three times three times now yeah you got those super sperms I'm three for zero or three 1.00

00:01:06.660 sorry how do you three for three how do you get how what's uh how do you get your wife pregnant if 0.98

00:01:10.940 you guys don't have sex uh well I mean you're pastor you're like all holy and everything right 0.94

00:01:17.160 right because pastors don't have sex yeah right former pastors just in case oh that's why you left

00:01:21.960 now we know why you left right guys we have an awesome show lined up for you today we have a

00:01:29.100 living legend when it comes to personal development marketing success one of the biggest names in the

00:01:36.260 history of this segment a guy who has inspired not only uh guys like me but basically everybody else

00:01:43.960 that you see out there inspiring people right now these he is one of the key guys along with Tony

00:01:49.120 Robbins that has been around for uh since the beginning of this whole space so I'd like to 0.95

00:01:54.560 welcome Dean Graziosi you guys have probably seen him on tv he's the fucking man what's up dude 0.87

00:01:59.860 it's good to be here man yeah I'm glad to be here and I like the I like the pauses too it's very 0.94

00:02:04.400 dramatic yeah I was into it I was waiting for what was I was on the edge of my seat it's funny because

00:02:08.500 sometimes we have guests like they've never heard the podcast before so when they see me go do the intro 0.96

00:02:12.940 they're like they like they get scared like they got these big old eyes like holy fuck or they laugh 0.94

00:02:17.460 you could hear them laughing but I'm fired up let's rock this when I was when I was just looking 0.98

00:02:22.000 stuff up is that I typed in I mean I didn't know off the top of my head how do you spell your name

00:02:26.100 so I typed it kind of weird and I typed I had heard that there was an ES or there's an ESPN guy and his

00:02:31.900 name is Dan Grazioso right okay so that's fairly close so I got a lot closer to his name than your name

00:02:40.200 but the google monster said did you mean Dean Graziosi oh that's when you know you made it that's when you

00:02:46.720 know you mean when google says did you mean and then your name pops up right that's like when they

00:02:51.080 people type in handsome man and my name pops up did you mean did you mean that's how I searched

00:02:55.740 you yesterday I just wanted to make sure that's how most people find me yeah so you guys Dean is

00:03:03.060 new to Instagram and I'm just going to say this up front this is a guy who I've been watching for

00:03:07.940 literally the last 17 18 years okay you guys need to follow him okay so I'm going to ask you right now

00:03:14.900 I'm going to ask you again at the end so make sure that you're following Dean um I just want to say

00:03:20.040 too man it's like an honor to have you here it's like dude I I remember watching you on TV when I

00:03:25.360 was literally struggling in business and broke and like seeing your commercials and your infomercials

00:03:31.460 and the things dude it just inspired me man like I told you before we got on you know you you and Tony

00:03:37.640 uh have made a big difference in my life dude I just it's really cool saying that and you know

00:03:42.300 it's an honor to be here too I watch how you serve and how you serve from your heart and give

00:03:45.980 back I mean you watch you watch you know there's a the internet is and Facebook and social media has

00:03:52.140 given such an amazing platform that people have a voice so people have a voice you know when I first

00:03:56.640 started 20 years ago the only outlet was I did infomercials right it would cost a million bucks to

00:04:00.920 get going and momentum and it had a had a really high entry point right right but the internet has given

00:04:06.440 people a voice the the good thing is it gives a voice like yours and what you guys do here to the 0.92

00:04:11.660 world bad news this is a lot of shit out yeah dude right but it's okay but you know what I've 0.98

00:04:15.640 watched it for years and been here so long the people that are fake the people don't live authentically 0.97

00:04:20.040 and share because they actually I'm in your office right now it's a fucking badass thank you and huge 0.74

00:04:25.080 you got an amazing company that you run this is what you share on these podcasts what you guys share 0.82

00:04:29.740 is from experience and wisdom that's something you read for five minutes and do trash other people so

00:04:33.740 the reason I'm here I appreciate you saying it's not but I'm here because I watch your stuff and I

00:04:37.680 admire it and uh you know this is what we do like the bigger the more people we help the more we make

00:04:43.060 the bigger is our come bigger our company grows but we leave a a legacy we leave a we leave an imprint

00:04:47.420 on what we've done yeah dude and what's funny what's funny about you said two things first of all dude

00:04:52.100 I your legacy you've already you could do nothing and still leave a legacy which is fucking cool at 49 0.80

00:04:57.560 years old which is amazing uh I hope I'm at that spot um but one thing that I you know what's

00:05:04.500 interesting about this whole space right now is you have credible guys right you have guys who are

00:05:09.900 who run real companies but there's no barrier to entry anymore and so when you started um you know

00:05:16.960 you like you said it costs a ton of money so you had to go out and be successful at other things

00:05:22.240 before so there was always like a uh yeah my car business proof my car business and my real estate

00:05:28.120 business funded my tv business like I was literally painting cars during the day fixing houses at night

00:05:33.560 right and taking that money and dumping it to be on tv so being on tv at that time like you you were

00:05:38.880 credible because you had you had to fucking money to be on tv and now it's like you don't have to do 0.95

00:05:43.840 anything to post you don't do anything to go uh stand in front of somebody's fucking jet and be like 0.99

00:05:48.220 oh yeah dm me for success like dude we need to clean out the shit like it there's there's like a dozen 0.99

00:05:54.860 guys that are good and there's a there's a fucking million that are suck it's it it I feel bad because 1.00

00:06:02.140 like when I was younger it made I could easily identify who was credible right like I I could 0.98

00:06:07.000 say okay this dude's on tv he's fucking credible now you can't do that anymore so like how do these 0.97

00:06:12.620 you know I feel bad for the younger guys because they're trying to figure out who the fuck to listen 0.96

00:06:16.440 to no I get that I mean especially because tv's been my focus for 20 years yeah right so we just 0.88

00:06:21.700 decided to really obsess on social media in the last six months right so a lot of times I'll do a 0.92

00:06:25.880 post people like it but like you know who the fuck are you or are you the new like new guy on the block 0.97

00:06:30.380 it's like I've been doing this before you were born right but and that's all right because here's 0.96

00:06:34.220 what I know I watch it on tv people will copycat people who aren't authentic will pop up and be

00:06:39.460 your competitors for a little while but think about your your foundational business how many

00:06:43.960 competitors have come up you got nervous for five minutes but you did the right thing you have the

00:06:48.420 right success habits the success criteria the rituals right you stay steadfast you build wisdom

00:06:53.700 they have you know they might have have a little energy to start but you have the stamina through

00:06:58.640 you know yeah inner self wisdom right and they just fade away yeah right or it's healthy

00:07:03.480 competition you know what and I feel the same competition because I'm the kind of guy like

00:07:07.560 dude if I feel somebody running up I run faster you know what I mean it's like when you're when

00:07:12.280 you're a little kid and you got to take the trash out at night and you got to walk to the end of

00:07:14.900 the driveway it's dark and then you leave the can you turn around and run as fast you know like

00:07:20.000 that's how I am when when when somebody's chasing me I run faster yeah same exactly healthy 0.95

00:07:24.540 competition is needed and I I think just like tv used to it'll select but the crap will self-select

00:07:30.460 yeah you can go only go so long preaching that you can help people but if you don't have the

00:07:35.160 substance behind it they become yesterday's news I think if people would just take a minute to uh

00:07:39.480 to to vet people like hey what ask people what businesses did you run before you did this

00:07:44.720 you know what I mean how did you you'll you'll save yourself a lot because you're gonna figure out 0.98

00:07:49.260 real quick that people run a business are full of shit but dude so I want to start in on the 0.98

00:07:55.060 podcast and basically let's do it um you know you grew up in a poor family where your parents were 0.99

00:08:00.440 divorced and you're basically raised by your grandma talk a little bit about that upcoming and what you

00:08:06.700 learned coming from that background you know first of all because people probably look at you do and

00:08:11.700 you know when they look at wealthy people because you're a very wealthy guy now people look at wealthy

00:08:15.620 people and they always assume that the end product was that right you know like you grew up that way

00:08:19.740 or you had rich parents or you had an advantage and I know that's not true because I didn't have that

00:08:24.400 yeah but I'd like to hear your take on that yeah I think that's I think that's one of the biggest

00:08:28.200 myths again today I just I hope we can sir in this time I want to give as many nuggets as you can

00:08:32.980 and what I always say is anybody when you're listening right now or watching right now it's like

00:08:36.520 take what serves you and throw the rest away a lot of times we'll go to an event and there's so much

00:08:40.600 wisdom and knowledge coming at you you're like overwhelmed but there's going to be two or three things

00:08:44.600 that one of us is going to stay today that'll make an impact on your life like it'll course correct

00:08:49.080 your life if you just take one or two and freaking implement it in your life rather than just being

00:08:53.700 inspired so I'll say that to everybody but I think one of the biggest things I learned along the journey

00:08:59.640 is that there's no one magic key to success like even even stuff the magic money machines online like

00:09:08.100 there's no one simple thing but it's not as hard as people think because there's not a lot of

00:09:12.520 competition at the top right the competition is the fiercest at the bottom because there's the more

00:09:16.500 most people wait when people say you know like I'll teach my kids that they're in they're in both in 0.88

00:09:20.920 sports that practice and hard work pays off you fucking got to work right but not practicing the 0.93

00:09:25.960 wrong thing that's right get the knowledge from somebody like you who's run a successful business

00:09:30.000 take off start off where you're leaving off and I think so backing up yeah I mean I don't want to

00:09:35.180 share like an infomercial story but I lived with my my mom they split up and they're married nine times

00:09:41.980 between them I moved 20 times there was a year I lived in a bathroom with my dad we didn't have

00:09:47.000 lunch money I'd go to school tell my friends I wasn't hungry right but those days that was just

00:09:51.600 part of my journey and when you start realizing Tony's got a great line for this that what if life 0.97

00:09:55.880 happens for us not to us what if that was my destiny like I wouldn't have been a fucking hustler if I 0.91

00:10:00.840 had it all right not that I have friends that had great childhoods and they're badass so you don't

00:10:05.360 have to come from a bad childhood right I just happened to come that way and it it gave me momentum

00:10:10.800 because I hated my watching my parents struggle I hated that everything was worried about money

00:10:15.140 I hated where they thought money was evil because they didn't have it so many people listening right

00:10:19.320 now have myths in their in their core about money thinking that only the rich get richer it takes 0.85

00:10:24.640 money or people get lucky or you have to invent fucking Facebook you don't right right and the 0.91

00:10:28.960 only thing I realized is that the more I didn't listen to what the norm was the more I modeled people 0.86

00:10:35.700 that were actually successful not the ones who talked about it right I didn't have access to the

00:10:39.720 internet when I was a kid it didn't exist right so I had a model people that were successful and

00:10:45.540 that's where I picked up habits of people that were happier than my parents had more money than my

00:10:49.780 parents they did more fun things than my parents and then I just literally started adopting those

00:10:54.560 habits in my life right and who was the first person that you you noticed like maybe as a big

00:11:00.040 big time name or maybe somebody low no I mean when I was probably in my 30s Tony Robbins made a huge

00:11:05.860 impact when I was a kid it was the the people in my town who had money yeah Richard Noto he's an

00:11:10.140 older guy 65 I took a liking to him became friends and I just saw how he thought I saw how he worked

00:11:15.960 I saw his focus I saw that he never talked bad about one single person ever he didn't he didn't

00:11:21.180 he wasn't envious of other people's success he'd admire other people's success right all of a sudden

00:11:25.260 you had these you know something goes wrong he didn't throw his hands up he'd figure out a

00:11:28.300 solution all the little things that sometimes seem simple are really the foundation of why you do so well

00:11:33.380 you know what's so funny dude you know say that is I don't know any success any truly successful 0.99

00:11:37.700 person that doesn't celebrate other successful people's success fuck you do it before I knew you 0.96

00:11:43.780 one of my team members Jeremy who you've been talking to yeah he said you got to check out this 0.99

00:11:47.640 guy Andy dude I was celebrating what you do I mean probably a year ago I never I didn't know I was

00:11:53.060 gonna meet you didn't know I just I loved it I saw what you're doing but people think people but

00:11:56.780 it's against what people perceive it to be right they think that like the way you got ahead was by

00:12:00.820 you know killing everybody and this and that but the funny thing is is like when you get to where

00:12:06.100 people when you get to a certain level all those people they want you to win and you want them to

00:12:10.360 win because everybody wins together and you learn from everybody it's it's really cool because I feel

00:12:15.320 like you know when you're in that struggle period right and you're I don't want to say the bottom but

00:12:20.580 like you're in the beginning maybe a better word uh you know everybody's trying to cut each other's

00:12:25.720 throat and nobody wants to share information nobody wants to tell anybody anything and it's funny

00:12:28.960 because when you get collective wisdom is the fastest way to grow yeah dude when you get to

00:12:33.020 that when you get to that that level where you know you're making seven figures or eight figures and

00:12:37.900 you're you're around people like that dude everybody's willing to help each other like it's a super

00:12:43.000 unselfish behavior yeah and and you know what I want to share because listen if if you're on if

00:12:47.380 you're listening right now and you're below 25 or you're 30 a lot of times if you're 40 if you're 70 if

00:12:52.380 you're 90 a lot of times people think well he's not where I am like he doesn't know what I'm

00:12:56.480 dealing with right and and they'll say that probably listening to you and the thing I want 0.88

00:12:59.900 to share is I lived in a fucking bathroom I have dyslexia I was in special reading till 11th grade 0.94

00:13:05.680 I never went to college and all I thought is someday I'm going to be a mechanic if I can make 0.98

00:13:09.420 50 grand a year I'll be the richest guy I mean that's what I thought as a kid I was embarrassed

00:13:14.120 to if it was time to read in front of the class I'd skip school because I couldn't read that good right

00:13:18.460 so the only reason I share that is not to be like poor me what I share that for is no matter where you

00:13:23.420 are if you're listening right now I've been there I went to school without money I I used credit cards

00:13:28.080 up to 50 grand to to when I was in my teens trying to make a business going it fucking failed and now 0.90

00:13:33.060 I had 50,000 in credit no college education started right and then I started a business on I had a

00:13:38.700 collision shop and an auto sales and then I started buying apartments with no money down and there was

00:13:42.580 times I went completely broke I I was living on nothing but then I got to 100 grand a year so I know

00:13:47.400 what it's like to go from zero to 100 I know it's like to go to 100 to to you know 100 grand a year to

00:13:52.780 my company doing a million a year and then 10 million a year and I my companies broke 220 million

00:13:57.520 a couple years ago in sales in one year so I've been on every level so and and I know your journey

00:14:02.300 as well so when you listen don't listen from the perspective like oh you're already rich you don't

00:14:07.520 understand how I feel we know how you feel we've had the sleepless nights I've gone months without

00:14:11.560 fucking sleeping I've been up early I almost lost everything I had a couple times so I know the

00:14:15.820 feeling and the more wisdom the more challenges and the more successes you have it becomes a gut feeling 0.99

00:14:22.700 which is really just wisdom when people talk about wisdom they give crafty names yeah it's 1.00

00:14:26.340 just you've been fucked enough yeah you had your ass beat enough you had your ass beat enough that 1.00

00:14:30.720 that you know you know what road not to go down when you go that road it hurts right so you know 1.00

00:14:36.620 which way to steer your ship you feel it before it even starts to happen eventually yeah you're sick

00:14:41.120 to your stomach it's like oh this ain't going right yeah this ain't going right it's funny too because 0.97

00:14:45.140 like dude I've and I know this is true because you just said it like I have been fucked over so many 0.94

00:14:49.740 times that literally now like when I meet somebody in the first fucking minute I meet them I can 0.95

00:14:55.100 already tell I can feel it it's your gut yeah it's your gut so I'm like I'll stay away from this 0.99

00:14:58.740 motherfucker and it always works because what happens is because I'm already in my mind I'm 0.99

00:15:02.720 polite to him right yeah yeah yeah but you already know but then I get like the the email or the mail 1.00

00:15:07.560 from him as you know trying you know I start getting they try to suck me in like nah bro yeah 0.59

00:15:11.760 but I have to tell you and and I mean this with all sincerity everybody listening right now I admire 0.96

00:15:18.560 them because what I thought in my teens and my 20s is the only way I could figure shit out is 0.96

00:15:24.140 through my own trial and error and that's like so 1990 right that's the stupidest way to learn in 0.98

00:15:29.880 the history of the world everybody else's mistakes learn from everybody else's mistakes like I was and

00:15:33.600 it sounds like I'm bragging but I'm blessed to be dear friends with Tony Robbins yeah I spent three

00:15:38.340 now that's how you know when you made it when when you feel like you're bragging you know what I'm

00:15:42.220 saying when like like when you know when when you made it when other people are bragging think

00:15:46.400 they're bragging they say they're friends with you you know what I'm saying yeah Tony's Tony's

00:15:49.940 doing okay yeah Tony's doing all right right um but I mean I had the chance to spend three three

00:15:54.720 years in a row a week straight with Richard Branson on his private island right because we I helped

00:15:58.480 only reason I got there only reason I did this because I got to I raised a I raised a million

00:16:02.440 bucks for his charity yeah and uh cut a big check for myself and got my way into the island we became

00:16:07.220 friends he invited me back two years in a row but when I look at what those guys shared Richard and I

00:16:12.480 we we sailed around his island he gets up at five so did I nobody else on the island did he's like

00:16:16.740 you want to see I spent three hours just me and him sailing I learned more in that three hours five

00:16:20.640 just to do that man yeah but in those three hours I just shut up and listen I asked five or six

00:16:25.920 strategic questions and I listened I mean think how much that guy's been through before me and I got

00:16:30.180 to rob that yeah right from saves you saves you literally tens of millions of dollars and years

00:16:37.220 years I mean one thing listen I run some high-level masterminds I shared some of the people in

00:16:42.100 our group we get together and share all you gotta do is go around the room and share what's the one

00:16:45.880 best thing you've realized in the last 90 days to scale your business Craig Clemens Dan Sullivan 0.99

00:16:51.860 you know all these amazing Russell Brunson they share that fuck I'm writing like crazy but I give 0.95

00:16:58.660 mine best and they're writing like crazy so I didn't mean to digress there other than saying if 0.99

00:17:02.560 you're listening right now yeah I admire the shit out of you because you're not just talking about it 0.92

00:17:06.920 you're not someone that wishes you're not just hoping you'll get rich or pick the right crypto coin 1.00

00:17:11.280 fuck all that dude get your shit going don't get me started with that you know what I mean like get 1.00

00:17:14.880 your shit going and know that there's no magic money machines there's just time and following 1.00

00:17:19.660 someone else's path that's already carved it before yeah yeah dude you know we talk a lot especially 1.00

00:17:26.420 about this I think this is something that and I'm interested to hear what you think on this because

00:17:31.340 I believe it to be fact we have a situation you know breaking free of the mental mindset of being

00:17:39.280 quote-unquote poor or broke or whatever financially right financially struggling when a child grows up

00:17:45.340 and you could think about this when you grow up and when I grow up and when other people grow up

00:17:48.980 you learn from your parents and you love your parents you listen to everything they say you listen

00:17:53.340 you talk to listen to your teachers you talk to listen to your guiding counselor you talk to listen

00:17:56.860 to your coaches and you look at like where where your parents were right they're probably lower

00:18:01.900 middle class middle class people if you're listening right now that's pretty much our our demographic

00:18:05.980 your coaches are probably the same your teachers are probably the same and for your whole life you

00:18:10.940 hear these these things put into your head you know like your dad comes home and he's pissed off 0.99

00:18:15.460 he's like oh my boss did this he's a rich fucker blah blah blah right you hear these comments these 0.99

00:18:20.500 little comments that people don't even know they're fucking making for 20 years right what do you think 1.00

00:18:26.600 your beliefs are going to be about success you're going to believe that it's good thing to be average 0.97

00:18:30.960 you're going to believe that it's a bad thing to be rich you're going to believe that you know what's

00:18:35.260 every movie every movie the rich guy's the fucking villain exactly but dude breaking free of that 0.87

00:18:39.700 mentality you did that i did that okay now i came from my dad was a successful guy i was very lucky i 0.94

00:18:46.780 had my dad but we weren't wealthy okay we doing that is one of the hardest things for people to do

00:18:55.360 because when they start to do it right they start to pull away and they start to listen and they start 0.99

00:18:59.520 repeating things that they hear from like you or totally they get fucking shit on by everybody 0.99

00:19:05.180 right their parents are like what the fuck are you doing why you want to be wealthy you know 1.00

00:19:08.760 money's not everything you're being selfish and they get hammered hard and what like what i want 0.97

00:19:13.660 people to realize is a like you said that you had respect for everybody listening i do too because

00:19:18.900 are you even listening to this it says something about your pursuit and what you're willing to go

00:19:23.480 through and two what i want you to know is something you touched on the competition at the beginning

00:19:29.200 when you're first trying to break free of that um that circle that you've had your whole entire life

00:19:35.560 to think a different way that's when it's the fucking hardest it is that's when everybody that 0.88

00:19:39.840 you love and trust and depended on and learned from your whole life is going to look at you and 0.97

00:19:44.500 they're going to fucking say things to you that upset you and hurt you and guys i have to tell you 0.98

00:19:49.200 man as much as that sucks it's 10 times better when you start to meet people who have the same views 0.99

00:19:56.300 and the same visions and the same and so right yeah because like dude i can remember when i started

00:20:01.920 my business and people would say things to me even family members dude when are you going to grow up

00:20:06.560 and get a real job why you do you still own that little vitamin shop you know when are you guys 0.87

00:20:11.140 going to get serious about this and fucking everything in between right we were making no money i 0.96

00:20:15.140 made i made zero dollars the first three years six hundred ninety five dollars the next seven years 0.96

00:20:19.380 okay so you're you're in the struggle period where things aren't going well then you have on top of it

00:20:25.480 everybody that you love and respect telling you you're fucking up right and but i have to tell 0.97

00:20:30.720 you guys and i i want you to you know tell them what you think on this too because when you get

00:20:35.700 out of that like when you break free of that of what we're talking about that struggle at the bottom

00:20:40.180 and you start to move up and and align yourself with people who feel the same way dude life becomes

00:20:45.500 way way better way better because you're you're a lot and and it would be the same for those people

00:20:51.740 like the same for those people like they are at the they think that way they're more comfortable

00:20:55.960 and their life is better around people who think that way of course so understand that like when 0.97

00:21:00.960 you're trying to break out of that that system that you're it's going to be the hardest fucking 0.88

00:21:06.600 time as an entrepreneur absolute hardest part i mean i think it's so you hit right i mean i talk 0.96

00:21:11.460 about that all the time because i remember i had like a a fucking intervention with my family when i 0.96

00:21:15.420 started my like you're saying i was a broke kid yeah started a car business started doing pretty good 0.93

00:21:19.860 then all of a sudden i got a couple no money down real estate deals i got 20 apartments under my

00:21:23.320 belt i'm flipping cars and all of a sudden i'm going to write a book and go in the infomercial

00:21:27.740 business i literally dean what do you who do you think you are i mean you get to a point where 0.99

00:21:31.400 people either either you're you got lucky or you're an asshole so if you try and fail it's like i knew 1.00

00:21:35.780 and he was going to fail anyway and then if you tried something and it worked like a lucky bastard 0.99

00:21:39.440 yeah there's no in between exactly right so i had my family sit down and say hey from where you came

00:21:44.220 from without having money you don't have a college education you're doing a couple hundred grand a year with

00:21:48.460 your car businesses you're stop it you're fine stop being a dreamer this is the end and luckily

00:21:54.840 i realized that like i broke through the first time i had to break through that barrier yeah like you

00:21:59.940 just have to realize like a couple of the little things that i'll share is think of the people you

00:22:06.400 surround yourself with right and think of if you would replace your life immediately with the people

00:22:13.420 who give you advice and tell you you're a dreamer i've been doing that for so many years andy like 0.98

00:22:17.440 i'll see something like oh listen you can't do it this way and immediately i go what if i fucking 0.99

00:22:20.920 woke up tomorrow and looked in the mirror and i was this guy i'd shoot myself yeah right i'd shoot 0.97

00:22:24.600 myself somebody's got a job who's even making 300 grand a year but they're answering to somebody

00:22:28.300 they're a time and effort community like they have to go to work they only get paid i mean

00:22:31.900 listen i admire we need lawyers we need doctors where would we be without them right but even a doctor

00:22:37.060 best doctor he's getting clocked in every fucking hour a lawyer even if he gets 600 bucks an hour he's 0.93

00:22:41.660 still working by the hour i'm gonna go to bed tonight and make money so are you right but because 0.95

00:22:45.580 because we just broke through that norm and you know i i think i don't i don't want to go back

00:22:50.000 what you're saying like if you literally think about your life okay because this is exactly what

00:22:53.860 happens you're surrounded by everybody who's telling you you can't and you're crazy and what 0.99

00:22:58.240 are you doing and why you do who the fuck do you think you are you're you're too good for us now all 0.99

00:23:02.720 that shit right and you take all those people away and replace them with people that tell you 1.00

00:23:06.740 you can do this you can do this dude you're killing it you're a fucking badass yeah and you because 1.00

00:23:11.720 that's what it's like that's the difference like dude you you get out of that circle and you get 0.97

00:23:15.520 around people that are that are that are have the same goals and that's what you have you take away 0.98

00:23:19.880 you you you're basically cutting an anchor off your fucking boat and replacing with a jet engine 0.97

00:23:23.940 yeah completely i mean i mean think i want to talk about the like the myths of money right because 0.99

00:23:31.480 you said that and you hit a point because there's people listening right now still going yeah but you

00:23:35.660 don't get where where i came from you don't get what my family's like or what my friends are like 0.83

00:23:39.600 right and think about like well that's a fucking thing too right dean like that's dude you need to 0.97

00:23:44.560 get over the fact that you think you're a fucking special circumstance because you're not you're not 0.98

00:23:48.200 we all have our shit right and they like listening right now i love this when tony says it but you get 0.99

00:23:53.920 to make the decision right now that you're not going to listen to anybody's shit anymore i mean think 0.98

00:23:58.160 about i won't go back too far but this is what i want to say and i hesitated because i don't want to 0.97

00:24:01.480 digress too much but the way the school system is created i did i just did a lot of research on this

00:24:06.180 it's still built around the industrial revolution right you think when ford and firestone and way

00:24:11.860 back when the industrial revolution boomed they started making schools so there was buzzers and 0.96

00:24:15.940 bells and lunch hours so when people got out of school going to work for fucking ford on the 0.99

00:24:19.840 assembly line didn't seem that fucking bad right right we never changed that shit in school they 0.99

00:24:24.260 want you to sit be quiet don't collaborate if we didn't collaborate with other successful people 0.99

00:24:28.180 i'd be broke as shit i would too i'd still be slinging fenders on cars yeah right so i'd be working 0.92

00:24:32.960 the counter at one of my stores right exactly exactly and and the other thing too is i want to 0.97

00:24:38.520 give everybody permission right now to to throw away and i don't want to and you want to reel me

00:24:43.480 back in i might digress but this is so fucking important this is this is what we need to do yeah 0.72

00:24:47.940 so you're fine okay so yeah i want you to the the biggest lie we've ever been told in the history of 0.98

00:24:54.040 the world is to work on your weaknesses it's full of shit and all it does when there's so many people 0.97

00:24:59.820 listening right now they're saying i'd love to do what andy did i'd love to do what dean did but 0.98

00:25:03.640 you don't understand man i'm not good at reading or you know i'm not that good with bookkeeping or

00:25:06.980 i'm afraid to talk to you're fucking good at something right so so that or i can't i could 0.98

00:25:11.280 never do public speaker i could never sit and do i'd love to talk to andy but i'd get so nervous 0.97

00:25:14.700 like so what happens is you you carry that because we're taught in school to fix your weaknesses 0.99

00:25:19.520 fuck your weaknesses yeah pay someone eventually to do the shit you're weak at yeah get amazing at what 0.99

00:25:24.840 you're good at you if you feel inferior about something there's a couple things that happen first you 1.00

00:25:29.080 you were probably judged by an outdated scorecard i had miss thompson all through seventh grade tell 1.00

00:25:33.340 me you're a loser you're pathetic just fucking sound it out i couldn't i had dyslexia and didn't 0.99

00:25:37.800 know it i'm like i can't sound it out yeah and i remember going years thinking man i'll be lucky 1.00

00:25:41.420 to be a mechanic someday yeah if i listen to miss thompson if i listen to mr beale in 10th grade bro i 0.90

00:25:46.580 had a fucking counselor tell me straight to my face i told him i said i was going to take the act 0.98

00:25:52.040 and he was like you uh he's like you know i said i wanted to go to i wanted to go to duke 0.99

00:25:58.280 or notre dame or one of these schools and he's like he looks me right in the face and he goes

00:26:01.420 well andy those schools are for like the cream of the crop and i'm thinking yeah and like you know

00:26:08.780 i was i wasn't short on confidence really you know and he's like well uh you're like a 2.0 student

00:26:14.160 and he's like i'd be surprised if you got an 18 and i'm like an 18 i'm like what's a good score

00:26:20.220 and he's like well you know at 24 you'd be you should be thrilled i fucking went out the night 0.98

00:26:24.240 before i got drunk as fuck and i smoked a bunch of weed and i got a 30. the problem with me was 0.99

00:26:29.660 the fucking school was not school was not hard enough yeah it was too easy yeah i got bored and 0.99

00:26:34.760 the only reason yeah no yeah i get it sorry to get off track no no no don't get off track i love it i 0.99

00:26:38.320 just want to loop it back around and just giving everybody permission listening right now to stop

00:26:42.980 believing the shit that you were told because it's not true you might have been outdated by a bad scorecard 0.99

00:26:47.640 you might have parents that think they're protecting you because they went bankrupt or they were stuck in 1.00

00:26:51.020 a fucking job it doesn't mean they're bad people it just means that they're they have an outdated 0.99

00:26:55.260 rule successful people don't think like everybody else right if you're thinking like all your buddies 0.99

00:26:59.920 and you don't like the money they make and you don't like the the lives they live or the worries

00:27:03.900 they have or the negative piddly talk that they do if you hang around and do what they do you just get

00:27:09.400 what they get you're always right so and by default no matter how much you don't want it

00:27:13.680 you're gonna have it you have dude it's so it's so important to to be aware of this and people just

00:27:21.680 aren't and then when they become aware of it they start making excuses of why they want to keep

00:27:26.360 people and they're like well he's been my friend since second grade or it's my mom or you know it's

00:27:30.660 my best friend or you know they they make these these excuses as to why to keep them yeah and i have

00:27:36.600 every time we talk about this people are like well what about if it's your dad or what about if it's

00:27:40.380 your mom well i said what i said and there was no fucking exceptions to it so you can love them 0.76

00:27:45.740 but you have to listen to them that's right and the only thing i say when people say what my dad 0.93

00:27:48.720 thinks this i'm like would you replace your life with your dad's right now not critical he's probably

00:27:52.860 the best dad in the world right but do you want to live his life for 40 years right or do you want

00:27:56.220 to do something listen when i was in my 20s i retired both my parents both of them who thought i was

00:27:59.620 fucking nuts haven't worked since i was 27 years old they get new cars they get checks every 0.92

00:28:03.720 fucking week yeah they don't question me anymore right right believe me they don't question me 0.99

00:28:08.800 anymore and and to go a little bit further on that don't work on your weaknesses just to clarify this 0.99

00:28:14.640 is the more time you spend working on something you're not good at the more you rob your confidence

00:28:20.520 and let me just ask you this could you be as successful as you are without your confidence

00:28:24.480 no but i also but i also earned the confidence of course a little bit of time right and you earn it

00:28:30.360 by getting better at what you're good at right so when i say that pay someone else to do it you're

00:28:34.240 like dean i don't have a dollar to my name yeah but what i'm saying is fine tune what you're good at

00:28:38.240 and i'm going to give you a quick example i was 20 years old or nine 20 years old and i owned a 10

00:28:42.440 unit apartment house when i was 18 i bought this old rundown house a guy gave it to me no money down

00:28:47.080 and i'd fix one apartment up and i'd live in it while i worked on the next one when the next one was

00:28:51.020 almost done i'd move in it when it wasn't done and i'd rent the one i was in i'd use that money to go so it

00:28:54.840 took me a year i get these done and my dad never made more than 30 grand a year i love my dad great guy just

00:28:59.920 he was born during a depression so he still had that mindset right so total scarcity so what so

00:29:05.320 now now this is i'm in my early 20s i got a collision shop i have about 20 apartments and i

00:29:10.060 started building my first house to sell and i realized on saturdays my dad always taught me

00:29:14.640 do everything yourself don't pay somebody for something that you could do right completely

00:29:18.560 wrong mindset completely wrong told me not to borrow money from the bank completely wrong you can 0.99

00:29:22.860 leverage it right but long story short so this fucking place had a lawn that was like five acres 0.99

00:29:27.760 every saturday my eyes would be watering i'm weed whacking and mowing the lawn take me all freaking 0.99

00:29:31.940 day a buddy of mine who's like still works for me 18 years there a million years later a lot more than

00:29:36.780 18 he uh he says i'll mow it all for 50 bucks so my dad comes up on a saturday and he pulls in and 0.99

00:29:43.520 sees me leaving and i got someone else mowing my lawn my dad italian guy had a fucking temper he loses 0.99

00:29:49.160 his mind every curse word you could possibly imagine and he's going oh fucking big shots we're saying 0.99

00:29:53.220 fucking big shot you got somebody mowing your lawn he's like i swear i guess you don't mind the 1.00

00:29:58.380 language oh fuck no man he's my dad said you know what you're fucked you're fucked you're a big shot 1.00

00:30:03.580 now get somebody to mow the lawn and here's what i thought about as soon as he left he he left spinning 1.00

00:30:07.000 the wheels of his car so much it was a gravel driveway freaking dented the whole side of my car

00:30:11.300 because he hit the gas like ding ding ding ding ding yeah but when he left i thought to myself i'm on to

00:30:16.120 something because he struggled his whole life trying to do it all himself and here's what i thought about

00:30:21.040 what is the return on investment of that 50 bucks if i go to my collision shop and do one deal i could

00:30:27.880 probably make a grand that day right if i go to the auto sales and i sell one car i could probably make

00:30:31.680 2 500 bucks or if i go find another real estate deal i could make 50 grand so anything i did was

00:30:37.740 either a thousand or a ten thousand dollar return on that fifty dollars right and i when i got that

00:30:42.680 mindset i thought about it for everything i'm not good at reading and spelling i wrote my first book i gave

00:30:48.620 it to an editor and the editors this isn't a book it's a 300 page conversation you need to rewrite the

00:30:52.840 whole thing it put me in a loop i shouldn't try to write a book and i had dyslexia and then i was like 0.92

00:30:57.900 no fuck this it's a good story yeah so i fired her i hired someone else and said i can't write good 0.99

00:31:02.440 i don't have good grammar or good english but the stories are amazing so just clean up my shit and leave 0.99

00:31:07.160 it that was my first book totally fulfilled it was a new york times bestseller for seven days 0.92

00:31:10.680 and that wasn't a promotion it just fucking hit the bookstore and went nuts right that book almost 0.97

00:31:15.460 didn't live because someone was telling me to work on my weaknesses because that's how she was 0.98

00:31:19.300 programmed but she was a fucking she's great at writing but what does she do she edits other 0.98

00:31:23.180 people's books i'm not being disrespectful but i could tell she dreamed of writing her own books 0.99

00:31:27.120 because then when it became a new york times bestseller she's like how did you do it it's like

00:31:30.660 you're fucking dreaming i did what i said i was going to do that you said i couldn't do exactly 0.99

00:31:35.020 so so i just want to give everybody permission right now that you're not a fucking dreamer 0.99

00:31:39.320 don't work on your weaknesses find out what you're good at and get so damn good at it 1.00

00:31:43.440 that you could pay other people to do this shit you suck at but again the other problem is people 0.99

00:31:47.600 have this misconception of i i need to build a i need a business plan then i got to get business 1.00

00:31:52.400 cards and then i got like that it's unfortunate that we were all taught the wrong exactly we were 0.95

00:31:57.180 all taught the wrong thing i grew up thinking that shit too man like thinking i can remember the first 0.98

00:32:01.860 time i tried it you know i was i was like you i was trying to do shit my whole life like baseball cards 0.98

00:32:05.900 lemonade me too did it all and everything right uh dude i thought you know dude once you had a 0.98

00:32:11.120 business card and once you had an office you fucking made it man like i thought that's what 0.99

00:32:15.300 people will spend three months designing their logo yeah right the logo put a shit stain on it and 0.99

00:32:20.280 market it good and it'll work better dude people just don't they they they buy into first of all 0.96

00:32:27.160 getting back to like what you're saying about school like they all of this goes together they're 0.52

00:32:32.740 fucking immersed in mediocrity their whole entire life okay none of the people that you're surrounded 0.96

00:32:38.540 by know anything about succeeding nothing they fucking know nothing now they might love you they 0.99

00:32:43.220 might be great people but they know nothing about making money and nothing about financial success 1.00

00:32:47.220 and then you go out and you think it's not possible well no fucking shit you think it's not 0.98

00:32:51.500 possible but it is because they'll teach you that it's magic or it's luck or it's mystical 0.99

00:32:56.080 and dude it fucking is possible it's it's it's an equation of math like we always say it's 0.94

00:33:01.320 a plus b equals c that's it but the one thing that people don't i think they're starting to realize it 0.97

00:33:07.520 but if you really want to wake the fuck up and like get like 10 000 foot view of what school is 0.95

00:33:13.040 all about school is about teaching you how to show up on time how to follow fucking directions how to 0.99

00:33:18.680 go home do your shit at home come back and become somebody who can be employable somewhere else yeah 1.00

00:33:24.920 and become a fucking robot that's why you need a degree to work certain places because they want 1.00

00:33:29.220 you to be who you are and be good at that and never fucking ask for anything never develop and stay 0.99

00:33:34.000 and be that cog why why do you think right now that valium is the number one prescription in america 0.91

00:33:39.440 because people are finally fucking have exposed to realize that what we were taught that you should 0.92

00:33:44.460 go be me in the middle you should do what everybody else says show up on time do your work and go home 0.97

00:33:49.780 get the 401k and you'll be fine people are finally saying that ain't fucking enough i'm not going to be 0.95

00:33:54.340 a rope i want to live i want to find my passion i want to be in better health i want to be more i don't 0.68

00:33:58.440 want to come home and look at my phone why do you think there's such an awakening now versus back

00:34:02.180 because i think i think social media social media like when did used to you know when i was a kid

00:34:06.740 there was the lifestyles of the rich and famous that's why it was mystical tv it was mystical it's

00:34:10.760 like oh you could never reach that right right and it's all of a sudden once you break the i i again

00:34:15.980 i admire you for listening and and listen every single chance you get to this guy but you got to

00:34:22.560 realize that this is something everybody listening can make a part of their life like you have to get

00:34:28.340 rid of the well but if you have a but find out what that story is you know one thing i love to say

00:34:34.020 and i've done this my whole life is what's standing between you and your next level of life of what you 0.85

00:34:39.320 want isn't the economy it's not the fucking president it's not what the congress is going to 0.98

00:34:43.880 do it doesn't matter if you live in kansas city or st louis or phoenix or new york it doesn't matter 0.95

00:34:48.140 if your parents had money if you went to college what's standing between you and the life you desire 0.97

00:34:52.440 is the fucking story you tell yourself if you say i'm not smart enough then you're not if you say i mean 1.00

00:34:57.060 this i didn't make you are you are what the fuck you are like what you believe you are is exactly 1.00

00:35:01.820 yeah and i'm not we didn't make this up i've been saying it's personal development forever but it's 0.99

00:35:04.980 but we know exactly we've known we've when you first read that somewhere which i know because

00:35:09.660 you're you love to read and consume content when you first read that somewhere you probably thought 0.85

00:35:14.140 that's bullshit yeah right like but as you get through the the journey and you get to a certain 0.99

00:35:19.140 point you look bad you're like then you see the same quote you're holy fuck dude that's exactly true 0.99

00:35:24.060 like it's so true that like i make fun of myself for thinking it was bullshit yeah exactly i might 0.99

00:35:29.220 tell you a little story yeah a buddy of mine uh this is about life what you focus on is what you

00:35:34.240 become is what you get you think it's not going to work out you think the relationship's not going

00:35:37.760 it just goes in that direction and i'm gonna be 50 this year i can't believe it but it's so real 0.99

00:35:43.000 that when i'll tell you a fucking example of this shit right now i'm sitting here with you 0.98

00:35:46.340 i'm sitting with you okay like dude you guys don't understand like i've watched dean on tv for 0.99

00:35:51.520 fucking 15 20 years i've i gotta uh or i gotta invite to go to tony robbins event from tony himself 0.95

00:35:58.420 through ed my let like dude i've focused on success and consuming this kind of content and 0.98

00:36:03.640 becoming someone who lives it and becoming a student of success and obsessed over it so hard

00:36:09.040 that now we're sitting here together no it's awesome no same with me tony's one of my best

00:36:13.580 friends 15 years ago i wrote in a journal all i want to do is meet him and thank him right right i got

00:36:18.320 the chance to meet him we were going to spend an hour together we spent two days together yeah

00:36:21.780 right i mean buds ever since but that was i mean i was sitting there with tony if i i was telling you

00:36:25.720 earlier if somebody would have said to me 10 years ago yeah he's gonna be one of your best friends or

00:36:29.200 you could meet anybody you want any fucking living legend it would have been tony because he made such 0.61

00:36:32.940 an impact on my life right and that's why i love giving it back that's why i know you do too 0.90

00:36:36.600 but telling you this story really quick about what you focus on is right now as you're listening to us

00:36:42.300 if you got a pen or you want to write it in your phone think about as we're talking about you could live that

00:36:47.040 next level you could make more money i guarantee there's a but going on right now there's yeah but 0.58

00:36:51.980 these guys don't know that my parents suck i don't have money i'm not that smart i live in the wrong 0.96

00:36:55.800 place there's a but that's just a fucking story just and you could you could prove that story's a 1.00

00:36:59.940 lie by googling it and find people had the same shit as you and they're living successful but one 0.99

00:37:03.820 one thing that always comes to mind is a buddy of mine takes him and a bunch of dads they take like 15 0.99

00:37:10.360 high school boys on whitewater rafting in colorado right so they're gonna do this trip they're gonna and

00:37:16.660 it rains for a week before they go and i don't know rapids i've never done it but i guess they go

00:37:20.460 from zero to five or one to five there were fives yeah so all these dads that they got like 15 kids 0.98

00:37:25.460 a lot of parents aren't there like shit i don't yeah i'm gonna kill somebody kid we're not gonna do 0.97

00:37:29.580 this and he said he told me a story didn't know he was telling me that i was like i i hear stories 0.98

00:37:34.000 they imprint on me for life you're probably the same way you guys probably get that so he says all of a

00:37:38.420 sudden this guide comes out looks like he's 60 years old ripped you know like just looks like a

00:37:43.120 a mountain guy right yeah comes out goes boys get in the get in the rafts we're fine he said he gets

00:37:48.600 in the raft he said just want to tell you this he puts his finger up and he goes you see this finger

00:37:52.040 i've been doing this for 35 years never lost a person but this is the only thing you got to do

00:37:57.240 this is called the positive point he said all i ask you boys to do is commit to one thing wherever i

00:38:03.820 point you focus in that direction and you paddle your guts out to get in that direction and we'll be

00:38:09.640 fine he goes if if i ever pointed to the rock or pointed to the down tree or i point to the big

00:38:16.020 rapid you'll all look take focus off and we'll flip over and we'll drown so remember this is the 0.99

00:38:20.720 positive point go where i point and that's fucking life that's fucking genius but that's life that is 0.99

00:38:25.700 life because what right now people are listening right now they're pointing towards the rocks 0.98

00:38:28.960 there's no yeah but yeah but yeah but if you point it it's self-fulfilling if you say i don't have 0.99

00:38:33.860 money i'm not smart enough my friends won't support me that's your fucking life and if you decide 0.99

00:38:37.820 today in this very moment change happens in an instant if you decide right now i'm just changing 0.99

00:38:42.380 where i'm pointing i start with a positive point i'm pointing towards my own business i'm pointing 0.97

00:38:46.120 towards going into graphic design i'm pointing towards i'm going to go into music and fuck what 0.96

00:38:49.480 my parents say because i can do like this is your moment like you can decide i'm just shifting what i 0.85

00:38:54.560 point at right dude i love it man i think that's a great story dude that's one of my favorite stories

00:38:59.900 i think i've heard on the podcast it's it is the truth too man uh what you have to realize too like

00:39:06.740 this goes hand in hand what we talked about like people trying to break free of that struggle right

00:39:10.840 like they're like oh man okay i want to point at that but then they get distracted by that's why 0.97

00:39:15.040 it's important to fucking cut out all the riffraff that we're talking about they're bringing negativity 1.00

00:39:18.660 in your life yeah and so i'm on a roll here you can interrupt me anytime you want but um the other 0.98

00:39:24.480 thing that i realized later on in life is i always have had to-do lists i always take a yellow pad i make

00:39:29.200 three lines then i did it for years on the left side the left column was the things i needed to do that day

00:39:33.300 in the middle is the stuff i want to do that week and then the right was the stuff i need to get done

00:39:36.520 that month i did that for years i always had a to-do list to-do list hungry get up at three o'clock 0.92

00:39:42.340 can't go back to bed fuck it i'm just going to work right i hustled this it didn't happen by accident 0.98

00:39:45.760 right but what i realized later on in life and i want everybody to take this if i if someone gave me 0.99

00:39:50.560 this advice when i was you know in my 20s i right now i would pay five million bucks for it right you

00:39:55.780 know is to to-do lists will always be there what you guys have to do is create a not to-do list

00:40:02.640 because right now you're thinking time might be an issue i can't figure it out it's because you're 0.95

00:40:08.660 not you don't have a clear enough vision on where you want to go and you're doing shit that doesn't 0.82

00:40:12.660 take you to the life you desire so i could talk later about how to get crystal clear vision but 0.82

00:40:17.460 think about this i if if a week of your life is worth changing your life forever right just a week

00:40:24.120 it's free what am i going to share if if you don't think a week then you probably shouldn't be

00:40:28.040 listening to this anyway right so so i would say for the next week in your phone if you carry a

00:40:32.820 journal whatever you do document what you do document what people do on a daily basis just

00:40:36.820 the big stuff what i do what i do what i do and at the end of the week go through it and if it's

00:40:42.000 start making notes next to each one if it's not serving you or a bigger future or the life you want

00:40:47.160 the relationship the money the income the business you want it doesn't have to be on the to-do list it's

00:40:51.700 got to go i mean so many people will say they want to do it but they'll spend four hours a day

00:40:55.360 surfing through social media or they'll find four four hours a day wasting time so a not to-do list

00:41:01.580 is more important than a to-do list and here's the thing that i always teach is once you make that list 0.98

00:41:05.680 of shit you're doing you go through it and decide what you're going to eliminate what you can delegate 0.97

00:41:10.700 and what you can automate right and all of a sudden when people tell me they don't have time like you 1.00

00:41:15.120 just don't have a clear enough vision right you're doing too much shit that distracts you you're just 0.78

00:41:18.280 shallow you're going shallow and you need to go deep on one thing right right so at the end of the 0.99

00:41:23.280 week when you start doing that delegate some shit to somebody else throw some shit out or automate 0.96

00:41:27.520 some of your stuff and all of a sudden there's five hours a week yeah people want a time management 0.99

00:41:31.080 you don't need a time management product you just need to cut shit that doesn't serve you you know 0.89

00:41:35.360 i was just thinking as you said delegate people have such a hard time delegating too because 0.98

00:41:38.960 they think they feel weird telling other people to do shit you know what i mean when it's first 0.85

00:41:43.160 couple times you have to delegate you're like oh well i don't what you have to realize is that 1.00

00:41:47.440 people want shit to do yeah they want to fucking do shit and some it's like one man's trash 0.99

00:41:51.600 another man's trash or shit you don't like to do someone else loves that's right i could listen 1.00

00:41:55.240 i'm so anti-bookkeeping when my on my cfo or my bookkeeper or my controller sends me shit i'm like 0.99

00:42:00.220 just break it i don't want to look at your 40 page spreadsheet i still can't i just can't do i don't 0.98

00:42:04.500 look at numbers impress me make it simple but my controller right guy loves fucking numbers every 0.89

00:42:08.700 day he's like oh did you see i'm like yeah what do we make this week like just yeah high levels 0.89

00:42:13.660 marketing working or not right yeah so you know things you don't like someone else does for sure so dude

00:42:18.740 you mentioned your book you've written five books all together all sorts of different content on

00:42:23.920 real estate success and now you've got the millionaire success habits out that's killing it

00:42:28.780 yeah um but the the message that you have overall usually comes down to total total fulfillment okay

00:42:36.020 yeah so what is your recommendation or what how do you see total fulfillment for someone you know i

00:42:44.700 think total fulfillment because a lot of people like dude i love making money you love making money

00:42:48.440 right but there's so much more to both of us and it's a shame too because regular people like that 0.89

00:42:53.740 aren't making a lot of money they'll look at you and they'll say well you're just you'd fucking love 0.55

00:42:57.380 money and it's like no dude this is just a tool for me to do all this other shit exactly so so here's 0.85

00:43:03.260 what i say is i love making money but at this phase of my life what i realized i probably didn't

00:43:07.580 realize in my 20s is i thought money would just solve everything right it doesn't money is just an 0.97

00:43:13.360 amplifier of who you are if you're a dick for lack of a better word give somebody money they're worse 0.98

00:43:17.300 yeah it's like alcohol yep you guys are wise ass when he's sober you give him he's a real wise 0.99

00:43:21.820 ass right or annoying right right right but what money can do and this is i think is a massive

00:43:27.600 inspiration is money can allow you just be a better version of yourself when money's i mean think about

00:43:33.300 how often if you're listening how often do you think about money how often did your parents think

00:43:37.120 about it talk about it talk about it till they talked about it remove that obstacle for your life

00:43:41.320 completely when that listen when that removed listen yeah my childhood was insanity we all have our own

00:43:45.920 stuff my parents were married nine times live with grandma just all kinds of crazy stuff i ignored all

00:43:50.520 that and then all of a sudden i start making money because i was obsessed with the money when i finally

00:43:54.500 made money i had to deal with some of that stuff and it made me a better human being it being it made

00:43:58.560 me have more empathetic be a more empathetic for other people because i had to deal with that right

00:44:02.220 when i got money i got a personal trainer i have a nutritionist i go to a natural path and get an iv

00:44:06.700 once a week i i you know i coach every single i go to every practice every game of my kids i coach

00:44:12.300 softball i coach baseball i get to be awesome i'm a better version of me because i don't have

00:44:17.220 money as a worry so when people say what's your definition of success in my 20s completely different

00:44:22.120 what is now 30s completely absolutely it's always an evolution definition now is yesterday i had a i

00:44:27.180 have a business my business partners are in utah right so i flew up to utah and we had a meeting all

00:44:34.280 day i jumped on private plane and i flew home because my daughter was pitching so i left there at two

00:44:40.160 o'clock i was on the plane by 2 15 i landed at 3 40 my daughter's game started at 350 i didn't miss

00:44:46.780 one pitch that's awesome dude and that was and i blew off an afternoon meeting yeah to be there

00:44:51.700 right and then i was going to fly directly here to see you and that's why i pushed it for a little

00:44:55.300 bit yeah because i wanted to go to her game right and then this morning i wanted to cook my kids

00:44:58.540 breakfast yeah that's success to me i agree like i'm at a phase i i can't buy any more watches i'm not

00:45:03.940 crazy i used to be crazy about cars i'm not that much anymore like for me it's complete control of my

00:45:09.500 life nobody tells me how to dress how to talk where to live how to raise my kids right like nothing

00:45:14.400 that's but that's my definition right so when when people talk about money does money solve problems

00:45:19.500 it's like money's not sort of it does of course it does right like if you have if you say money

00:45:24.100 doesn't solve problems you haven't given enough of it away yeah that's true go give away a million

00:45:27.660 bucks and help people you talk about solving problems yeah right yeah we have but i mean when you 0.99

00:45:32.640 people think i guess whenever they think about money they think about like the shit they see on 0.98

00:45:38.020 instagram right it's the dude the dude like fucking me sometimes like do the lamborghini or 1.00

00:45:42.240 do fucking cars and this or watches but what they don't see is the shit that like you know 0.99

00:45:47.540 like they don't see guys like like chris and i built our high school new facilities new baseball 1.00

00:45:52.400 field new football field room they don't see that shit and because it's hard if you post it or say 0.96

00:45:58.760 something about it you're bragging about it right yeah and then but if you don't post it everybody 1.00

00:46:02.100 thinks you're greedy as fuck so it's like you're in this you're in this fucking like catch 22 but 0.99

00:46:06.740 um what's so if somebody asks what is what's money mean to you right now in your life 1.00

00:46:10.740 dude it's just a way for me to make more impact man yeah you know what i mean like i've done i've

00:46:16.420 done all the shit too i've fucking owned all the watches i still own all the cars and you know as 0.99

00:46:20.960 fun as passionate as i am about cars and i still buy cars and shit i mean it doesn't mean to me what 0.99

00:46:25.980 it once meant yeah i totally get it and i'm not trying to dog because i think it's amazing bro i totally

00:46:29.500 get it yeah but and no i agree with you and let me just tell you where you're going yeah you don't mind

00:46:33.740 me sharing because i've been a little ahead of you right is when you first start doing it you enjoy

00:46:39.500 the impact but it's a part of your company you're making money if i can make money and help people

00:46:43.240 at the same time man right i thought i was going to be at mcdonald's when i was a kid right so

00:46:47.360 but then all of a sudden when you start really making an impact and no matter where you go somebody

00:46:52.920 says dude i was down on my luck i got your stuff my life changed i mean fortunately i've been doing this

00:46:57.360 for so long it's not because i'm it's but i've i've sold millions and millions of people so

00:47:01.660 wherever i go in the airport today on the way here my driver today is like dude i got your stuff

00:47:05.740 you don't understand yeah you know when you start making that impact all of a sudden it's not just

00:47:10.600 i want to help people and make money at the same time all of a sudden that delivering value to people

00:47:15.760 and helping change people's lives it gets stuck in you yeah like the impact i i'm watching it with

00:47:20.820 you just a little bit i know you but watch how this impact you'll be obsessed on impact and i'll share

00:47:25.780 with everybody right now the people who last in this industry are not let me figure out how to sell 0.56

00:47:30.700 shit and let's try to make it good right it's like i need to impact the world what do i have to do to 0.87

00:47:35.320 sell it they have a real purpose i'm a badass marketer i sell on video better than anybody 0.98

00:47:39.340 yeah but i got so good because i knew if i get my stuff in people's hands it changes their life so i

00:47:44.300 have to be good confidence and dude it's authenticity too like we talked about out there yeah people when

00:47:49.340 you are when you when you know you're offering real value like we're doing our entrepreneurship 0.52

00:47:53.720 academy right now awesome like dude i i walk out of there fucking pumped because i i didn't know 0.99

00:47:59.680 what to expect because i didn't have worked on camera i walk out of there and i'm like dude 0.97

00:48:03.880 that shit was fucking good and you and vaughn's always looking tyler they're always looking at 0.98

00:48:08.560 me saying the same shit and i'm thinking of i'm not thinking of like oh how much money we're gonna 1.00

00:48:12.560 make by selling it i'm thinking like dude this is gonna fix the problem of all these fucking kids 1.00

00:48:17.760 following these douchebags that are faking it because this is going to teach somebody how to run a real 1.00

00:48:22.460 fucking business not how to sell widgets on fucking facebook ads for a week until they're fucking done 1.00

00:48:27.400 and the thing is because of that impact the byproduct will be it'd be a successful shit 1.00

00:48:32.180 yes but nobody realizes that right right it's it's too late before they realize it right dean i told 0.94

00:48:37.100 andy yesterday we he finished uh recording like a little mini mini course and it was just basically

00:48:41.280 the basics like here here are the seven steps to to basically success and wealth and it's funny

00:48:47.400 mindset it's about mindset mindset how wealthy people think differently than than regular people yeah

00:48:52.260 and i and i told him i said i didn't want to like state the obvious but we finished

00:48:55.740 and it just something just settled on me and i thought this is like 1000 legit if they do this

00:49:03.500 they're gonna be successful yeah and i don't know why it like surprised me yeah you said that to me

00:49:08.840 and i'm like yeah man what the fuck no i don't i don't know why it surprised me because you're too 0.89

00:49:12.240 close you're so close yeah but i mean it's just like i think it's because there are so many scams out 0.98

00:49:17.760 there there are so many people um muddying up the waters for people that it's like you're almost

00:49:24.860 defensive even when you're doing the right thing you know i don't know no that makes total sense

00:49:28.980 but dude people when he was done i was like gosh this is going to change people's lives dude i said

00:49:33.420 this earlier i before we got on the air i said this to dean i said dude people like you and people who

00:49:38.780 are successful legitimately have built shit have an obligation to teach people how to do it yeah it's 0.98

00:49:45.780 not it's not uh because they're like you said they're there's the muddy the waters are so fucking 0.99

00:49:50.920 muddy it used to be on tv everybody was credible now there's fucking thousand of those dudes and 0.99

00:49:56.460 you're not who the fuck is which who knows what dude there needs to be some real motherfuckers 1.00

00:50:00.940 teaching these kids how to do shit you you can't fake this shit like a lot of people out there are 1.00

00:50:04.760 trying to create this system and try to sell it when they've never done anything yeah and dude 0.99

00:50:09.680 that's when they're like okay well should i say this sentence here or should i say this sentence

00:50:13.140 yeah should i have the red arrow to the opposite page or is it gonna ab close or whatever dude 0.95

00:50:17.000 fuck that that's not how i fucking sell it it's not what i teach literally when no when i get we 0.97

00:50:22.000 have a mastermind me and my buddy joe polish it's we call it genius x it's a hundred grand to be in 0.99

00:50:26.000 my mastermind we sold it out 20 people and when people come and they want to learn how to do that

00:50:30.520 every year we do they meet we meet three times a year okay so when do you open it back up we just

00:50:35.500 open it back up first meeting is in uh february next that's cool um but when people ask me how to get

00:50:41.660 better on video everybody's thinking it's a technical thing and all these guys are badasses in the room

00:50:46.740 they're all passionate about what they do they're anywhere in the room from 10 to 500 million a year

00:50:50.400 in sales and it's just i just help them tap into their own authenticity they watch their numbers

00:50:55.200 quadruple because they're just living the experience but so many people taught them just like in school 0.97

00:50:59.080 it's like you got to follow this format you got to use the red arrow dude i gotta fucking i got a 0.99

00:51:02.940 fucking d in public speaking a d now i'll get paid 75 grand per pop to speak think about that like i want 1.00

00:51:09.020 to go back and find that motherfucker and be like here's your fucking d motherfucker like i i just i 1.00

00:51:15.740 that's awesome yeah dude fuck i think about that all the time man like i think about all the 1.00

00:51:19.860 motherfuckers that told me that i was was shit i'm just wired that way man like i am driven by 1.00

00:51:24.620 fucking what was it what's the quote i just showed my daughter i said uh uh success is the best revenge 1.00

00:51:29.940 you don't have to say a fucking word i'm all of them get to they turn on i yeah you know instagram 0.99

00:51:33.720 like bro i fucking love it like when someone tells me like dude you can't do that or you're not 0.98

00:51:38.580 going to do that which happens less and less but i keep expanding my goals so then it happens again but 0.97

00:51:43.160 fuck dude it fires me up yeah nothing gets me more motivated i know not everybody's like that 0.98

00:51:48.060 but fuck i am i sometimes i wish i could change it because i like no i don't but i get like crazy 0.99

00:51:52.440 dude so am i yeah like i get crazy like like emily will look at me and be like what the fuck is wrong 1.00

00:51:57.540 with you i'm like this motherfucker you know like i it's just i don't know man it's a good fire you 0.99

00:52:03.620 know here's the thing everybody everybody listening to it's like use whatever you can to be your fire 1.00

00:52:09.060 everything yeah whatever you can and everything to be your fire so some people say they're down 0.96

00:52:13.600 and they're dumb saying shit's bad you know going through personal financial it's like then get 0.98

00:52:18.280 fucking madly deeply disturbed by that and run away from it in a better direction that's right if 1.00

00:52:23.860 you're doing okay and you're sick of complacency then then dream build a vision board put your new 0.97

00:52:28.160 house put your own and that's a big spot that we never talk about too we know because a lot of

00:52:31.260 people who are listening are successful people they're doing well they're making you know six figures or 0.99

00:52:37.040 even low seven figures okay they're doing okay and that's a dangerous fucking place man it is like 0.96

00:52:42.840 the most dangerous place you can be is in that middle spot where you've made a little bit you 0.98

00:52:47.920 got a taste but you're not over the hurdle yet dude because all you're going to end up doing is living

00:52:51.640 the same way you lived when you weren't making any money you're going to live paycheck to paycheck 0.66

00:52:54.760 you're going to buy all the cool shit you're going to be uh you know you're you're going to be 0.77

00:52:58.840 you're going to look rich but you're not going to be rich right exactly you know and dude i struggle 0.97

00:53:03.380 with that too man when i went through a time where i started making you know i didn't make any money

00:53:07.000 for 10 years right so to speak so when i you know my first time my first year uh i'm i made i went

00:53:12.720 from 45 grand to 180 grand and dude that that 180 grand felt like 10 trillion dollars of course you're

00:53:19.960 rolling yeah but it was gone like instantly like you know what i'm saying so i i learned that but you

00:53:26.600 have to luckily for me my spending habits are fucking obscene so that motivated me to make more money 0.83

00:53:32.680 you know what i mean uh oh it's funny how you're talking about using everything because i 0.96

00:53:37.900 i definitely have done that like even even buying shit like when i was like in the middle where i 0.85

00:53:42.660 was making you know 250 or even 700 or something less than a million i would fucking spend it all 0.89

00:53:48.480 so that i could fucking get motivated again because like dude that's what motivated me 0.90

00:53:52.080 you know what i mean but now i've grown up a little bit it's different now but uh but there's all but 0.80

00:53:57.500 there's all kinds of ways that you can use yourself yeah just use it even like i said if it's the 0.93

00:54:01.760 most disturbing thing in the world feel the pain of it don't ignore it yeah if there's shit 0.67

00:54:05.460 disturbing you like bathe in it feel all of a sudden it causes movement yeah right i love it dude 0.94

00:54:11.440 i fucking love it dude i love that you're a fiery italian dude too man it's fucking awesome so dude you 0.76

00:54:17.280 were into cars i am i grew up in a car business so are you still into cars no not as much what's your 0.98

00:54:22.180 favorite car um you know i i got a range rover and a tesla okay which one which tesla uh the the fat

00:54:29.460 what's it the p85 okay 85 it's terrible i don't know so actually joe polish bought it for me as a

00:54:34.680 gift yeah that means you're doing something right yeah i hooked him up on a on a podcast on a training

00:54:39.380 we did and he made a million bucks so and i wouldn't take any money from him so he bought me

00:54:42.520 that that's fast as shit yeah those are quick dude my uncle's got one escalade i had uh s classes 0.78

00:54:48.300 forever too but i like the i like the tesla the only thing with the tesla when i first got it 0.84

00:54:52.120 i get motion sick there's nothing i can do to shake it i do if i ride the passenger seat yeah me too

00:54:56.120 if i'm in the back seat or passenger seat right so i'm driving the tesla and you ever drive with

00:55:00.040 anybody who's a two-foot driver and it drives you nuts gas brake gas brake my grandmother did i was 0.99

00:55:04.080 a kid it's like i'd be in the back seat fucking green ready to puke all the time my wife my wife 0.99

00:55:10.980 is listening right now laughing her ass off because the last time we were in la we rode with a tag a taxi 0.99

00:55:16.760 driver it was a two-foot drive oh my god dude it was the worst fucking experience and it's usually too 0.98

00:55:21.000 hot in the taxi yeah oh while he's doing two foot like dude i kept rolling the window down and the 0.99

00:55:24.500 motherfucker kept rolling back up i'm like dude it's either roll the window out i'm gonna fucking 0.99

00:55:28.680 puke in your head yeah exactly you know no so so i get in the tesla and don't realize so it feels like 1.00

00:55:33.500 a two-foot driver so every time you go and you let off the car goes yeah it's because it's self-charging 0.90

00:55:38.060 and i didn't realize so i parked it i didn't drive it for four months and then someone says oh you could

00:55:42.500 shut that off so i hit the button on the dash and now it doesn't so you don't get as many miles but

00:55:47.020 now it's like a regular car yeah but i had i had i had mustangs i went through a mustang phase when i was a kid i went

00:55:52.640 through a porsche phase i had a bunch of porsches yeah um i've been through everything too except 0.82

00:55:56.660 ferrari i've not owned any ferraris but especially after the vegas trip oh fuck no i'll never those 0.99

00:56:01.780 things are pieces of shit first of all what's your favorite car oh man my favorite car my favorite 0.99

00:56:08.540 car i own right now is my 70 i have a 70 chevelle 454 ls6 nice it's black with white stripes that was 0.99

00:56:15.500 like my fucking ultimate car yeah dream muscle car right yeah um that's my favorite that's my favorite 0.72

00:56:21.300 car now i go through phases man like i'll go through phases where i'm into certain things 0.98

00:56:24.680 and you know then get into some other things the probably the most recognized car i've got that

00:56:29.840 people know about is i've got a i have the first customer delivered uh 2017 ford gt so the new ford gt

00:56:36.980 yeah yeah yeah oh and it's painted it's painted uh a special orange color that is it's one it's one of

00:56:42.240 one so dude that's amazing yeah it's gonna keep that one forever fuck yeah yeah i uh i i like buying 0.90

00:56:47.380 cars one of my partners was obsessed with he always talked about this guy's got money but

00:56:51.760 he always wanted a 68 ss camaro yeah convertible yeah right so when we were doing business together

00:56:58.320 we had a good year and i i spent 150 grand and bought him his dream car for his birthday yeah

00:57:03.200 and uh and another part of mine wanted that they take a jeep and they never see when they do the

00:57:07.480 jeeps over and they put like turf paint on them they put the big fenders yeah i forget the name yeah

00:57:11.760 yeah so i bought one of those last year for my other partner is that's cool um yeah yeah dude i

00:57:17.000 love cars man i've got a uh i've got another car i'm not really a i've never been a mustang guy but

00:57:22.160 i'm i say i'm not a ford guy but i fucking own all fours i was just about to say you've owned like 0.97

00:57:26.820 three mustangs at once no i've got two three four gts i've got the fucking two mustangs 0.99

00:57:31.180 what else do i got this ford anything what you had i just won't own a four truck because i had that i 0.98

00:57:36.800 had two four trucks and both of them fucking blew up like one of them literally blew up 0.96

00:57:40.540 five miles down the road from when i got it like the fucking engine 12 grand i mean i have to pay 0.99

00:57:45.220 it but i mean what the fuck ford they're gonna get mad at me for saying that they make awesome 0.98

00:57:51.200 cars they make awesome cars dude they make awesome cars that they i don't like their trucks but 0.94

00:57:56.540 i was just gonna ask dean we've talked about visualization before in our podcast and andy's

00:58:02.140 shared some of his personal habits for like keeping his gratitude alive that kind of thing

00:58:07.840 um what's your morning look like like how do you renew your vision yeah you know that's great i

00:58:12.920 have a morning routine that if i stick to it i'm in a good place and if i don't i screw my day up

00:58:16.840 so i i share with them here's here's a quick little i've talked about this a lot so i'm glad you asked

00:58:22.660 that question because i i believe especially now that there's nothing more important than your

00:58:26.220 morning to set your day up for success because if you set your day up wrong um you have less

00:58:30.800 confidence right like to me protecting my confidence is the number one thing that you have to do on a daily

00:58:35.540 basis and how do you stay confident when you're grateful when you feel right when you have a vision

00:58:39.380 when you're pointing your positive point in the right direction all those things so i'm gonna i'm

00:58:43.460 gonna run through just a quick little morning routine so first one i learned this from ariana 0.62

00:58:47.480 huffington who started huffington post she's cool shit she's awesome she's you know at 60 years on 0.92

00:58:52.160 she started huffington post sold it for 350 million and still owns half of it that's bad you know what i mean 0.92

00:58:56.380 that's pretty amazing right um so she said she taught me this about at night when you go to bed

00:59:01.280 um put your phone phone on airplane mode because we'll all roll over like and to me what it means

00:59:07.200 is you put yourself in defense rather than offense it's the way i look at it you guys can figure out

00:59:10.540 any way you want listening but if i roll over middle night you get a text it's not perfect you're like 0.99

00:59:14.200 ah shit puts on your head and you wake up in the morning or if you wake up first thing in the morning 0.95

00:59:18.180 roll over and look your emails and texts or you look at your cryptocurrency going down or you look at 1.00

00:59:22.240 your stock market going down or you look at you go to social media and realize your picture didn't get as

00:59:26.500 much likes as you thought right it just it just alters your brain a little bit towards what could go wrong

00:59:31.240 column so here's the routine at night put your phone on airplane mode and just freaking figure

00:59:35.120 it out on how not to check as soon as you wake up soon as i open my eyes if i will and i do it most

00:59:40.680 of the time that all time i'll just spend a couple minutes being grateful now everybody knows that so

00:59:44.840 just lower the bar of gratitude like if you're listening right now you're listening you know 150

00:59:49.120 000 people die every day that's the stat every day 150 000 people die if your eyes open you're a lucky 0.81

00:59:55.260 bastard doesn't matter what like you're not one of the 150 000 so i found a way to lower the bar 0.95

00:59:59.940 where i'll just be like i'm grateful for these amazing sheets i'm grateful because it's nice 0.51

01:00:03.660 outside i'm grateful for the air in this room right or read a couple sentences out of a personal

01:00:07.820 development book or listen to you for like just a couple minutes right so the way i feel is that

01:00:12.720 if i do that if i leave my phone on airplane mode don't check it and then i think in that that

01:00:17.560 frame of mind i'm in a grateful mood and then i just think of my intention what i want to solve

01:00:22.180 today what do i want to kick ass on today so just for a moment like today i'm going to come meet 0.91

01:00:25.560 andy i'm going to kick ass on this i'm going to fly i'm going to do this i'm going to see my 0.99

01:00:28.420 kids before i go i'm going to get a big smile a kiss before like i'll just think all this takes 0.96

01:00:32.260 three minutes like i'm done in three minutes i don't have time to do an hour meditation right so

01:00:35.740 i fed i feed my soul and all of a sudden i'm in a different place when i step out of bed

01:00:38.840 and then for me i want to feed my body so for me it's just a routine i'll i'll as soon as i get

01:00:43.180 downstairs i'll put a great scoop of green drink i'll do apple cider vinegar some mct oil and squeeze

01:00:49.340 a lemon and a full glass and down that and then i move immediately i have to go to the gym in the

01:00:53.300 morning for me because my days get going i don't want to stop i don't want to go work out at six

01:00:57.460 i'm already in work mode so i go move immediately and then when i come back um i have a little

01:01:03.180 routine but when i come back i'll do my what i get to do so i change my to list to to do list to get to

01:01:09.180 do so those little things you can alter it any way you want if you meditate you can put more time in

01:01:13.380 but setting the intention for the day and putting having the confidence when you jump out of bed 0.97

01:01:17.840 rather than ah because if you're facing the day like ah shit i got to get through today you're 0.77

01:01:21.980 already that day is done right just just that frame of mind in the morning is like what can i do 0.98

01:01:26.660 today to get through the day it's like you're screwed all you're doing is wait until the 0.68

01:01:29.900 night time so you can go back to sleep right and and we can't even live we can go unconscious like 0.64

01:01:33.680 that for years there's people listening right now that are older that have been unconscious for years

01:01:37.580 right right they're just dude by the way i know a guy who makes the best greens product in the world

01:01:43.100 i know him i know him well which one he's sitting right here oh yeah yeah so i'll give you some

01:01:49.080 before you all right i'm ready for it i've been doing the same one for i'm ready to switch it up

01:01:52.080 you'll like this ours is actually green it's it's it's uh it's a new processing technique on greens

01:01:58.620 it's low temperature processed greens love it way more bioavailable i've been doing it for 12 15

01:02:03.520 years every single morning they make a big fucking difference yeah they do dude the minute i added them 0.92

01:02:07.160 in i was stuck at like when i because i lost 110 pounds the last uh two years so amazing i got stuck 0.69

01:02:14.820 at like 260 265 the minute i added greens in dude i dropped down to 245 in almost four weeks like

01:02:20.920 that's awesome dude it made a huge difference and plus it kills cravings dude like it's sugar

01:02:24.900 cravings it makes you feel good it's like a natural it's a non-stimulant energy form too yeah

01:02:29.780 there's so many good things about it but i'm with you on that dude i almost my routine's almost exactly

01:02:33.860 the same i just do the gratitude when i'm brushing my teeth we talked about it here on the podcast

01:02:37.140 before that's great i'm glad you came on here and just basically validated everything i told him

01:02:40.900 so dude i'm a morning guy as well man not early morning i'm not an early morning riser but i have

01:02:46.860 to get my workout in the morning yeah you know so dean i'm gonna just turn people's attention to

01:02:52.720 your instagram account okay so it's dean grazioc i'm gonna spell it for people because people always

01:02:58.920 ask me to spell it d-e-a-n-g-r-a-z-i-o-s-i that's it okay and same on facebook and pretty much

01:03:07.240 everywhere yeah are you on twitter uh yeah but we we're mostly on facebook and now killing it on

01:03:11.800 instagram sounds good so dude first of all thanks for coming on i do have one last question

01:03:18.180 that i'm gonna ask and i've been asking all my very successful friends this has been kind of a

01:03:22.940 new recent thing because i feel like it's such a fascinating question all right so there's two

01:03:28.460 types of people there's people who love to win and there's people who hate to lose which one wins

01:03:34.520 and which one are you i think i'm a love to win guy and i think i love to win i think a love to win

01:03:40.980 guy will come out in the head yeah nobody likes losing right but man i love the story of how do

01:03:46.880 you get the tallest building in town right it's not by smashing everybody else right you can either 0.99

01:03:50.280 smash everybody else's yours the tallest or you could just focus on yours and make yours so fucking 0.99

01:03:53.920 big they'll never catch you right i tell my kids that all the time when when someone's rude to them 0.99

01:03:57.340 they're at an age where there's people you know bullies and saying something i'm like you want to be

01:04:02.080 the person that just builds yourself up or you want to worry about what they say you know build your

01:04:05.320 building just focus on you and they'll just someday all they'll do is look up and admire your tall

01:04:09.440 building yeah i think my so i'm a hate to lose guy yeah so i'm i'm i'm glad you said that i

01:04:15.440 personally am still in this so i feel like we go through phases right like when you're young and 0.98

01:04:22.180 you have shit to prove you're definitely a fucking hate i want to tell you i was absolutely a hate to 0.99

01:04:27.040 lose right it's just evolution but i don't think there's anything wrong with it i think i think we 1.00

01:04:30.420 all go through here that got you sure no dude we all go through it it goes back to using everything

01:04:34.020 yep so we when i was young and still to this day i would say i'm more of a hate to lose person

01:04:40.280 because i as you know people perceive me as very successful and i am very financially successful

01:04:45.840 but i'm so far from where i want to be that i still feel like i got a shit a shitload of proof 0.79

01:04:50.740 you know what i mean yeah so i i still feel like that hate to lose guy and i do feel like it's funny 0.94

01:04:55.720 because all my friends who are slightly older than me and then grant who's fucking agent if you're 0.98

01:05:01.520 listening grant you're old as fuck okay guys who are slightly older than me they all say love to win 0.97

01:05:07.260 you know what i'm saying but the guys who are my age and younger they all say hate to lose yeah and 0.99

01:05:11.680 i'm starting to realize i think it's an evolution it is yeah and one thing i noticed i i'm starting

01:05:17.500 to give more thought to the love to win thing because i'm a big believer in the law of attraction

01:05:21.880 yep uh you know focus and vibes and all that and what somebody made a comment and i don't know who

01:05:27.820 you are but i'm sure you're listening on my on my instagram and said you know what

01:05:31.440 i think i i understand what it means to hate to lose but i've been putting more thought into it and

01:05:36.820 you attract more of what you love and what you focus on and what you get 0.98

01:05:40.380 and for that really good point i'm gonna be someone who loves to win from now on and i'm like fuck that 0.98

01:05:45.400 was good that was good i'm like shit because you don't even want the word lose you might be pointing 0.98

01:05:49.980 in the wrong direction so so i've got to work on myself to start fucking thinking that way i was like 0.98

01:05:54.100 damn dude you know that was a good nugget i don't remember who said it but man that was really good 0.98

01:05:58.400 if you said that good job yeah good job because it made me really think like yeah like not many 0.99

01:06:02.680 comments that i get make me like sit down and be like man fuck maybe i'm wrong but that was a good 0.97

01:06:08.760 one i'm like fuck i need to become a love to win guy because you know it's the truth man i've gotten 0.99

01:06:13.020 every single thing that i've gotten i've focused on and thought about everything my entire fucking life 0.98

01:06:19.880 and vision is so everything and dude like if i'm if i'm getting fired up about in thinking about 0.85

01:06:26.840 losing man maybe i'm attracting a little more losing than i want to have you know i don't lose

01:06:30.280 very much maybe you're going to be converting yeah this might be the turning point yeah it might be 0.96

01:06:34.980 like when vaughn decided to not be a pastor because he wanted to have sex right that was a turning point

01:06:39.960 that's right it was a big turning point so dude thank you so much this was awesome yeah i appreciate

01:06:44.600 you coming in i'm a fan yeah i will be likewise likewise guys you know i don't have any fake

01:06:50.260 motherfuckers on this show and i know if you listen you got extreme value out of what dean had to say 0.84

01:06:54.560 so make sure that you follow him you subscribe to what he's doing uh check out his new book um tell 0.99

01:07:00.240 people a little bit about the book just so they can get a little bit of a rundown about it yeah yeah

01:07:03.340 so i i just looked back for all the years and figured out what are the habits that allowed me to

01:07:07.400 be successful right right it's like the habits that i figured out in my 20s my 30s 40s and

01:07:11.840 through the evolution and i just what my gift is i know how i can i write in a way that people 0.92

01:07:16.360 actually get it and it sticks so the book is just an evolution of habits that you could take out shit 0.85

01:07:20.640 that's not serving you and replacing with habits of not just me but the most successful people on

01:07:24.960 the planet so that's why it's killing it how many uh how many habits are there are covered in the book 0.89

01:07:29.280 do you know i think there's about 36 okay so there's a lot of shit there yeah but but they're not 0.92

01:07:33.400 heavy they're not like new year's resolutions where you got to become a different human being it's about 0.88

01:07:37.220 taking out shit that's you're going to notice like man that doesn't do anything for my life yeah i just 0.93

01:07:41.180 replace it with this way of thinking or this this attitude or this way to set goals dude i can't 0.98

01:07:44.980 wait to check it out man it's a it's it's killing it it's why people are going nuts over the book yeah
