You don t have to own a business to be a CEO, you can be a regular motherfucker and be the CEO of you. This is a personal development podcast that just happens to be in the business category, and you know why? Because we started out as a business podcast, but the truth is that running yourself is a lot like running a business, and the core values and lessons that you need to know are parallel. While we do talk a lot about entrepreneurship and how to make some fucking money, which all of you love, we also teach you how to be successful in any area of life.

00:00:00.400 I can stack them hundreds to the roof. I ain't stopping till they stack to the moon.
00:00:04.880 Without me, my family wouldn't have food. Anybody go against me gotta lose.
00:00:12.380 What is up, guys? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy, I'm your host, and I am
00:00:17.400 the motherfucking CEO. Guys, the purpose of this podcast is to make you the motherfucking CEO as 0.99
00:00:27.200 well, and guess what? You don't have to own a business to be that. You can be a regular 0.99
00:00:31.140 motherfucker and be the motherfucking CEO of you. This is a personal development podcast 1.00
00:00:35.920 that just happens to be in the business category, and you know why? Because we started out as a
00:00:41.960 business podcast, but the truth is that running yourself is a lot like running a business, and
00:00:46.720 the core values and lessons that you need to know are parallel. So while we do talk a lot
00:00:51.460 about entrepreneurship and how to make some fucking money, which all of you love, and if 0.93
00:00:55.700 you don't, there's something wrong with you, we will also teach you how to be successful 0.95
00:01:01.300 in any area of life, all right? Guys, today, I have a very special Thursday Thunder for you.
00:01:09.880 I'm going to tell you how to have a great day, not just once in a while, but every day, and
00:01:15.660 I'm going to give you four specific steps that you need to do to have a great day, but before
00:01:20.620 I get to that, I'm going to read some fan mail, and I love fan mail, especially ones like
00:01:28.980 this. This one comes from Adam. Adam says, hey, Andy, it's funny because I'm extremely
00:01:35.860 successful. Your company is a fucking joke in the world of fitness. I feel for all the 0.99
00:01:41.500 poor souls that are sucked into your subpar supplements. The only thing that I got from
00:01:46.380 my email was that he owns a orange Lamborghini. Sit back and think about all the good that
00:01:52.880 could be done with that quarter million dollars you spent on that car. What a fucking waste 1.00
00:01:57.140 of time. You're a douchebag. Adam, I love you too, bro. Before I get into my response, I am 1.00
00:02:06.480 just kind of wondering what I did to make you so mad. Why are you so angry? But let me address
00:02:14.120 some of your issues. First of all, the orange car you saw was a Ford GT, not a Lamborghini.
00:02:18.860 It is one of a kind. It was 500K, not 250K. And to address your point, I am helping people
00:02:27.040 by driving that fucking car. And let me explain to your small peanut brain exactly how. I am 1.00
00:02:33.800 inspiring the doers, the people who are going to go out. They are going to take action.
00:02:39.740 They are going to build shit that matters. And they are going to employ a lot of motherfuckers, 1.00
00:02:45.160 probably just like you who hate everything else about their life. Okay. Those people are going to 1.00
00:02:51.500 be the people that pay your fucking bills. People like me. All right. So when you go and knock that 1.00
00:02:56.780 and think I'm not helping people, I have two choices. One, I can inspire more success. I can drive what I
00:03:03.520 want to drive. I can do what I want to do. I can live how I want to live. And I will inspire other
00:03:09.840 people to do the same, which will be good for the economy. It will create more jobs. It will create
00:03:16.040 more dollars that will eventually go into your pocket. All right. That's just one way that I'm
00:03:22.440 helping people. The other way I'm helping people is by driving that money into an American company
00:03:27.120 where American workers are making fucking American products. Okay. My money goes through their 1.00
00:03:34.560 company. They pay some bills and eventually it makes it into other people's pockets. So that helps
00:03:40.480 people too. But the main way, the main way people like me, who according to you are douchebags that 0.63
00:03:46.180 drive $250,000 cars. But like I said, it was 500,000. The main way people like me help people like you
00:03:55.400 is by inspiring people that you work for people who are going to create jobs and careers and impact
00:04:02.400 you in a positive way. Now, could I take that $500,000 and give it to charity? Absolutely. In fact, I gave
00:04:10.820 four times that amount of charity in the last calendar year. All right. So I could take that money and I
00:04:17.140 could give it away, but I'd be giving it to people who are used to taking and not producing anything. And the
00:04:24.500 long-term ramifications of that, while good on the instant gratification side of things are not good on the
00:04:31.500 long-term. And I'm a long-term player. I'm a fucking farmer. I plant seeds and harvest fucking crops. That's what I
00:04:37.540 do. And so what I'm doing by driving that fucking car is planting fucking seeds of dreams into people who are 1.00
00:04:44.740 going to go out and create jobs for people like you. So thank you for your nice love letter. And you're 0.99
00:04:53.240 welcome for inspiring whoever it is that you fucking work for now on to the meat of the podcast, which is 0.95
00:05:02.020 how to have a great day, not just today, but every day. And by the way, keep the love letters coming. I 0.96
00:05:08.740 love you guys. Step number one, I've got four specific steps guys, and you're going to want to
00:05:14.320 take fucking notes on this. All right. Cause they're important. Step number one, the first thing you have 0.98
00:05:18.600 to do is go back and listen to episode one Oh seven. And you have to understand what the power list is
00:05:23.360 about. And you have to complete your power list. The power list in short is about taking the five
00:05:28.740 critical actions that you are going to work on that day that are going to advance you to where you want
00:05:33.900 to be and doing them. Now you're going to hear a lot of entrepreneurs say, Oh dude, you've got to
00:05:40.000 work fucking 30 hours a day in a 24 hour day. And you've got to work 25 fucking days a week when 0.99
00:05:44.740 there's only seven days in a week. And they're going to talk all this shit about how hard they 1.00
00:05:47.600 work. Bullshit. I'm lazy as fuck. Okay. I got five things I got to do every fucking day. And once those 1.00
00:05:53.500 five things are done, I'm fucking done. I'm done. Okay. These days I'm usually done by fucking 11 AM. 0.99
00:06:01.160 And anything I do beyond that is cause I want to do it now. Cause I have to do it right now in the 0.95
00:06:06.660 beginning, your power list might take you all day, but I get into that in episode one Oh seven. So
00:06:12.000 I'm not going to beat on that a whole lot, but step number one is to understand the power list and
00:06:15.680 crew and complete it on a daily basis. That's, what's going to move you. Like I said, to your
00:06:21.040 harvest, it's going to get you away from planting and into harvest as quickly as possible. Step number
00:06:27.000 two. All right. And step number two, three, and four are going to be things that you guys haven't
00:06:30.880 heard from me before. Step number two is learn something new. Okay. I am a habitual learner
00:06:36.820 my entire life. I enjoy, um, learning from books. I enjoy learning from other people. I enjoy
00:06:44.580 conversation with people that are different from me. I have made learning part of my character and
00:06:49.020 part of my DNA. And I try to actively learn something new every single day. And the way that
00:06:54.920 I do that, it's not just about business. It's just about anything. And the reason this is
00:06:59.200 important is because when you make a habit of learning, you're, you're creating an actual
00:07:03.780 tool that's going to help you be successful. Um, it's taking you from someone who thinks
00:07:08.720 they know everything to someone who is a perpetual, um, habitual student from everything. It makes
00:07:16.000 you a sponge. Okay. And this is a habit. So try to learn something new every day. The best
00:07:21.040 thing that I've been able to do over the course of my adult life is that I read 10 pages of a
00:07:26.520 book every single day. That's my learn something new every day. Now learning something new every
00:07:31.860 day can also, like I said, be a conversation with someone that's different from you. It
00:07:35.480 takes open-mindedness. You have to stop trying to win conversations and start trying to learn.
00:07:40.320 And by the way, point number two will make you a lot happier. You become a lot happier when
00:07:44.580 you're not trying to win conversations and, and instead you're trying to understand where
00:07:49.640 people are coming from. So that's, this is an important point. Learn something new every
00:07:53.520 day. Point number three, take time to be grateful. All right. If you're listening to this podcast,
00:08:01.840 it means you have a computer or a fucking phone. All right. That means you're better than 98% of 1.00
00:08:07.200 the earth. All right. You have a lot of shit to be grateful for. You might not be where you want
00:08:11.860 to be, but concentrating on where you are versus where you want to be and being angry and mad about
00:08:17.920 that. Wow. Can be productive. Oftentimes turns most people into bitter people. Now, personally,
00:08:24.280 I thrive on negativity. I like when people talk shit. If you didn't notice already, um, I 1.00
00:08:30.640 personally learn how to take that darkness and take that anger and take that pissed off energy
00:08:37.160 and turn it into productive action. But that doesn't mean I'm not grateful for everything else.
00:08:42.760 I take specific times every day to think about my life, to think about the great things I have,
00:08:48.240 to think about how fortunate I am. And I do that in the beginning of my day when I'm brushing my teeth.
00:08:53.720 So I take, you know, two to five minutes to, you know, clean up my old chompers. All right. I use them
00:08:59.100 a lot because I'm fucking fat and I like to eat. So it takes me a little bit to get them nice and 0.97
00:09:04.000 blingy for you guys. I hope you appreciate the effort. But while I'm doing that, I take time to think
00:09:11.240 about how good my life is. All right. And I do that again before I go to bed. So I take at least
00:09:16.020 two dedicated times per day to show gratitude and be thankful for what I have, who I am and, uh, 0.99
00:09:21.820 you know, all the good shit in my life and the good shit in my life. Isn't the Lamborghinis and the 0.97
00:09:26.920 fucking, all the shit that you see on the internet. The good thing in my life is the people in my life, 1.00
00:09:32.640 man. It's the people I get to go to battle with every day at work. It's my friends. It's my family.
00:09:37.120 It's my puppy dogs. You know, it's, uh, all the, all the real shit that you guys have to, 1.00
00:09:42.260 you know, that's the best shit in life. Um, you know, I'm not a big believer in that saying, 0.99
00:09:46.540 you know, money can't buy happiness because money can make you have a lot of fucking fun. 0.98
00:09:50.420 And anybody that tells you different is full of shit, but, um, the truly the best things in life 0.99
00:09:57.120 are free, which brings me to my, my point number four, which is this enjoy something every day that 0.99
00:10:03.700 money can't buy. One of my, my, my absolute best part of my day, the absolute best part of my day
00:10:10.440 is when I come home from work and I lay on the couch. Cause it's like the first thing I do, man.
00:10:15.500 Like I'm, I'm, I'm, you know, every day I'm kind of putting out fires. It's just part of being an
00:10:19.120 entrepreneur. I go to the couch. I have my little spot, probably just like you guys do, you know,
00:10:24.100 the same spot you lay in all the time over and over again. And every time within two seconds of me
00:10:28.260 laying down, my dog, Charlie, um, will run up and jump on the 50 pound bulldog, English bulldog
00:10:35.900 jumps on my chest and starts licking my face. Like it's the, it's the best part of my day
00:10:41.220 because it's the best part of her day. And I say this all the time. And if you know me,
00:10:46.260 you've heard me say this, dude, I would trade everything. I have every fucking dollar. I have 0.99
00:10:50.740 every asset I have, everything I have in business to, to, to, for that dog, just because I love it so
00:10:57.360 much. And I'm just that much of a dog person because they bring so much joy that you just
00:11:01.580 can't get anywhere else. And guys, you know, being able to truly appreciate things that you can't
00:11:09.480 get from success and can't get from money. That's part of balance, right? Like we talk a lot about
00:11:13.980 balance. We talk about how to, you know, uh, that, you know, balance is going to be at for an
00:11:18.880 entrepreneur. Balance is going to be a weighted over the course of your life versus the course of a
00:11:23.200 week. Like most people look at it or the day, you know, you're going to spend your first 20 years
00:11:26.840 grinding your fucking ass off. And after that, things are going to change if you're, if you're 0.99
00:11:30.960 not an idiot. Okay. And you're going to have more freedom. You're going to have more time. You're 1.00
00:11:34.480 going to have more fun. You're going to have more time for your family, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
00:11:37.500 So balance, we talk about that, but there is something to say about having balance over the
00:11:42.680 course of a day and, you know, enjoying things that money can't buy, taking some time to really
00:11:49.540 appreciate what you have. Um, those things matter. And those things keep us sane as entrepreneurs,
00:11:54.640 because I know all of you guys are hungry and all of you guys want to make a lot of fucking money 0.98
00:11:57.800 and all of you guys want to all the cool shit and you want to impact people and do all the shit that 0.99
00:12:01.740 we talk about. But if you go fucking crazy, okay, you're not going to be very effective. So, um, 1.00
00:12:08.740 so yeah, so this is, this is how I make sure I have a great day. Literally every day. One, I do my
00:12:15.360 power list every day to this day. I still do it. Okay. Two, I make sure that I learn something new.
00:12:22.160 Absolutely. Absolutely. It's a conscious effort of mine. Three, I take the time to be grateful
00:12:27.800 and thankful. Okay. That sets the mood for the beginning of the day. And at the end of the day,
00:12:31.760 something that I do every single day, no matter what. And guys, the truth is no matter how bad
00:12:37.140 your shit is, you've got a lot to be thankful for. And four, I take time consciously to enjoy 0.99
00:12:43.480 something that I can't get from money. All right. So those are my four steps for making every day a great
00:12:49.740 day. Guys, I appreciate all the love. If you enjoy the podcast, if you, if you like the podcast,
00:12:54.840 if you get value from the podcast, you know, my fee, I ask it every show. What's the fee. If you're
00:12:59.860 new, you haven't heard it. So this is what it is. My fee is this. I don't ask for money. I will teach
00:13:04.460 you how to make a lot of fucking money. I would teach you how to have an awesome life. I will teach 1.00
00:13:08.000 you how to, how to impact a lot of people. I don't ask for money. All I ask is this. Tell one friend
00:13:14.980 per podcast episode that you found valuable. So if you got value out of this to have a conversation
00:13:20.360 with a friend, tag them in a post, let them know about me. That's how we grow this movement. That's
00:13:25.040 how this movement grows. If you didn't like the podcast, don't fucking tell anybody, tell me to 0.99
00:13:28.900 fuck off. I don't care. Send me a love letter, whatever, but I'm not asking for something without 1.00
00:13:33.680 giving you something first. All right, guys, remember you can make every single day, a great day,
00:13:39.760 complete your power list, learn something new, be grateful, show some gratitude. All right. And
00:13:46.680 enjoy something money can't buy. I'll see you guys on Tuesday.
