00:12:31.480 teaching their kids what is obtainable in life they're teaching them that what they need to do is go to
00:12:39.240 school get a job you know do the same basic job they do and make the same kind of money they make

00:13:57.920 life to be like all right and so what i do is i close my eyes and i try to see myself doing the
00:14:04.160 things that i want to be doing um you know in my ideal life and and so when you close your eyes

00:14:38.580 go so so i had all this stuff on my vision board and so when i would visualize at night i don't
00:14:43.600 visualize the stuff i visualize me living my life with that kind of lifestyle so for me what i used to
00:14:51.820 visualize and this is i started this back in 2006 7 when i had no money i was making 695 dollars a
00:14:58.980 month and i had over 65 000 in credit card debt um i started visualizing myself driving up to the
00:15:05.180 airport uh in a lamborghini and getting to the airplane and the door going up you know because
00:15:12.120 lamborghini's got vertical doors and me being able to see like the inside of the car and like really try
00:15:17.740 to see what the experience was like and then i would like look out the door and i would see the
00:15:23.320 plane and then i would walk over to the plane i could see like the chrome rails of the steps like
00:15:28.280 i try to really truly visualize it and i would visualize that same dream over and over again when
00:15:35.340 i had no reason to really believe that that was going to be happening and guess what i do that on a
00:15:40.460 regular basis now so forgive me for being too detailed but do you have a set time that you do that

00:23:52.600 anybody else i mean yes i run at a very high intensity at a very high motor um when i'm hot

00:42:32.660 that into consideration and that's all people want they want to be taken into consideration now

00:42:42.380 right so you also have to know yourself and know who you are know what track you're on and what way

00:43:13.180 you've got to be listening and you've got to be aware and you've got to be able to absorb um you
00:43:19.160 know what you can use and you throw the rest of the trash like for example if someone comes at you
00:43:24.100 hard and they're mean to you and they say some rude shit but they also have a good point i'm thankful
00:43:28.540 that person made that comment and i take the part that i can use and i take the rest of it and i wash

00:44:27.600 you know but but let's move on to a different sort of criticism real quick is also can i get you to
00:44:33.640 clarify something real quick with it so you talked about the kind of criticism that is well-meaning but
00:44:38.760 really ultimately not right for you so that presupposes though that a person has a pretty
00:44:44.600 good understanding of who they are as as people you know and i know we've talked about the over
00:44:49.980 overuse of the word self-awareness but i mean
00:44:52.920 in practical terms how did you get to know yourself better to where you knew dude that's just experience
00:45:01.100 yeah i mean i still there's still times where i'm like man i wonder if that guy has a really good
00:45:08.740 point or or not you know i consider the point you've just got to make a decision you know most people
00:45:14.000 can't do that that's the problem they most people are so caught up on their internal criticism that

00:45:47.060 that there's nothing wrong with that you should think you're badass but you shouldn't think you're
00:45:52.100 so badass that you're better than everybody right and you have to develop you know an attitude of
00:45:59.360 confidence an attitude uh of belief in yourself and most people sadly never get to that point
