00:01:14.380 Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies and gentlemen, and the rest of you,

00:01:33.020 in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favorite Rebels.

00:01:37.980 I'm your host, David Menzies.

00:01:39.860 Well, they say hockey is the best game you can name.

00:01:43.640 Such a shame, then, that thousands of amateur hockey players will be benched this season.

00:01:49.220 And the reason they're in the sin bin as opposed to on the ice?

00:01:53.300 Well, they've chosen not to get vaxxed.

00:01:56.880 And apparently taking such a stance gets you suspended today.

00:02:01.560 Tamara Ugolini has all the details about this egregious policy.

00:02:06.200 And in Winnipeg, a real-life horror story is taking place regarding Monstrosity Burger.

00:02:13.580 You see, this eatery is accommodating those who are not vaxxed.

00:02:18.700 And it has incurred the wrath of the state.

00:02:22.340 The restaurant's owners have been whacked with tens of thousands of dollars in fines.

00:02:27.580 And its liquor license was recently suspended.

00:02:30.740 All of which makes you wonder, who is the real monster in this particular horror story?

00:02:37.760 Link and Jay will try to make sense of it all.

00:02:40.820 And letters, we get your letters.

00:02:42.300 We get them every minute of every day.

00:02:44.080 And you had plenty to say about my commentary regarding PPC leader Maxime Bernier,

00:02:49.840 who was, shockers, unfairly smeared last week by the mainstream media.

00:02:55.880 Yeah, so what else is new?

00:02:58.160 Those are your Rebels.

00:02:59.140 Now let's round them up.

00:03:00.740 Let's round them up.

00:03:30.740 But oddly enough, at the time of my report, the link to begin the accommodation process was currently still being developed.

00:03:41.620 This left many parents who are concerned over the heavy-handed mandate in the dark and confused.

00:03:48.460 Which, I mean, it seems to be the way with government-imposed health orders.

00:03:52.480 Except that this isn't an order from the provincial government.

00:03:57.140 Nope.

00:03:57.720 The leagues are going above and beyond that mandate.

00:04:01.700 And since the league didn't respond to my repeated attempts at seeking clarification,

00:04:06.580 we have literally no answers to the questions I posed.

00:04:11.300 So anyway, hockey dad Joe Anajar joined me and we discussed the massive support he's received from parents who are concerned about this directive in all youth sports leagues,

00:04:21.940 going above and beyond the provincial government's order.

00:04:25.500 Just look at this one petition specific to the GTHL.

00:04:29.360 It has over 9,000 signatures.

00:04:32.380 And because of donations to fight vaccine passports, that's our civil liberties initiative housed by the registered charity called the Democracy Fund,

00:04:41.380 where your donations now qualify for a tax receipt,

00:04:44.960 we were able to act quickly on behalf of these not-at-all-at-risk children and their concerned parents

00:04:51.820 and fire off a legal threat letter to the Ontario Hockey Federation.

00:04:57.300 That's the OHF, who is the governing body for amateur hockey in Ontario.

00:05:03.700 We don't have time to waste.

00:05:06.000 This mandate is coming into effect now.

00:05:08.900 And some of the youth affected are in their draft year.

00:05:11.500 We can't wait months for court filings.

00:05:15.480 We have to act now.

00:05:18.640 Let's go through parts of the letter together.

00:05:20.880 On September 15th, 2021, we sent a demand letter to Philip McKee, who is the executive director for the OHF.

00:05:27.840 Now, it's six pages total, so I'm going to highlight the most important parts,

00:05:31.980 but we have made this letter available for your viewing in the description below.

00:05:35.320 The lawyer, Lisa Bildy, notes that the league is ignoring the Return to Hockey Framework Directive

00:05:41.340 that this vaccination policy be recommended but optional,

00:05:44.860 and are instead substituting coercive, over-broad, and heavy-handed policies,

00:05:50.440 which will result in the removal of potentially thousands of minor hockey players from their leagues this season.

00:05:57.300 Bildy then highlights the current Ontario Provincial Regulation 645-21

00:06:02.960 that exempts youth sports from the vaccine mandate requirement,

00:06:06.880 then gives an example from the Alliance Hockey League's policy

00:06:09.900 that mandates players be vaccinated or denied the ability to play.

00:06:14.320 Based off of that policy, Bildy also states that there is no undue hardship

00:06:19.700 for the association to accommodate players who do not wish to be vaccinated for any reason whatsoever,

00:06:26.040 given that there are no laws requiring minors to be vaccinated,

00:06:29.400 to participate in youth sports, or attend school,

00:06:33.380 and are at no greater risk to the public or the players themselves

00:06:36.920 in playing hockey unvaccinated than in any other setting, including school.

00:06:42.780 We describe a situation where a 12-year-old submitted a medical exemption from his neurologist.

00:06:48.440 Well, folks, as Stomp and Tom Connors used to proclaim,

00:06:51.580 hockey is the best game you can name.

00:06:54.140 Too bad that this season, thousands of wannabe shinny stars will be confined to the penalty box,

00:07:01.200 unable to take part in our national winter sport,

00:07:04.820 thanks to not getting the COVID-19 jabs.

00:07:08.280 And that is offside in my book.

00:07:11.820 Joining me now for more on this sad story is Tamara Ugolini.

00:07:15.900 How are you doing there, Tamara?

00:07:17.040 Hey, David.

00:07:19.600 Well, I would be a lot better if we weren't coercing our adolescence into an experimental injection,

00:07:25.060 but I'm all right.

00:07:26.300 Anyway, how are you?

00:07:27.580 I'm doing fantastic, and I concur with your thoughts.

00:07:30.460 I hate what's happening right now.

00:07:32.120 But, you know, Tamara, as you mentioned in your report,

00:07:36.940 there is no undue hardship whatsoever for the various amateur hockey leagues

00:07:42.200 to accommodate unvaccinated players.

00:07:44.480 So my questions are, why is there undue hardship being created in the first place?

00:07:50.860 And by the way, whatever happened to that concept known as, you know, reasonable accommodation?

00:07:58.080 Well, as we've seen from the Ontario Human Rights Commission,

00:08:03.580 they seem to be epically failing people in upholding that right to have reasonable accommodation.

00:08:11.700 And the fact that the leagues are going above and beyond the provincial requirements,

00:08:15.560 that wording, the undue hardship wording, wasn't my own.

00:08:18.960 That actually came out of the demand letter that was sent out by the lawyer that we've retained

00:08:23.500 to represent this group of concerned hockey parents to send out to the Ontario Hockey Federation

00:08:30.500 on behalf of all the leagues that fall under their umbrella organization.

00:08:35.460 The fact that they're going above and beyond the provincial mandate is egregious.

00:08:39.900 There's no data or science to back it up.

00:08:42.780 And so I think that the letter speaks for itself, which you can find under the description of my legal update report.

00:08:49.880 You know, and Tamara, I can't help but think about the hypocrisy involved here.

00:08:55.060 If we look at the professional sports leagues,

00:08:58.160 it came out this week that more than 10% of NBA players have absolutely no plans to get vaccinated.

00:09:07.320 And yet there's going to be an exemption for them.

00:09:09.860 I don't know why, maybe because they're multimillionaire elite athletes.

00:09:14.900 And yet, my friend, if you and I were to go to Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and watch a Raptors game,

00:09:20.640 just as spectators sitting there, we have to be double jabbed just to get in the doors.

00:09:25.220 Yet the athletes who are playing a hard game of basketball, so you've got sweat, you've got saliva going all over the place,

00:09:34.420 they don't necessarily have to be double jabbed.

00:09:38.360 So how do you make sense of this, Tamara, from a scientific point of view?

00:09:44.360 Well, once again, hypocrisy is the new normal.

00:09:47.080 And it reminds me of Patrick Brown, right?

00:09:49.320 You did extensive reporting on him over the course of the last 18 months,

00:09:54.000 or I guess that was last hockey season, where he was allowed to play hockey with all of his friends

00:09:59.660 while your children were shuttered out of the good old hockey game.

00:10:04.860 I just can't make sense of it.

00:10:06.460 But I hope that as more of these public figures come forward and take a stand against it,

00:10:12.320 maybe, just maybe we stand a chance of the House of Cards coming down.

00:10:16.780 But I mean, to put these youth, especially young adolescent males, at risk for myocarditis and pericarditis,

00:10:23.820 especially as they go out onto the ice to exert themselves and work out their heart,

00:10:30.860 this is a potentially very dangerous thing that we're doing to these young men.

00:10:36.520 And Tamara, let's talk about that, because I find this very disturbing.

00:10:40.560 As you mentioned, young adolescent males, there can be such a terrible adverse reaction to these vaccines.

00:10:50.880 Why isn't this being taken into consideration, especially when we know that the younger you are,

00:10:58.140 the more immune you are to COVID-19, the faster you recover if you get it.

00:11:03.940 Certainly the symptoms are often cold or flu-like, and then it's gone.

00:11:08.600 Why isn't this being taken into consideration?

00:11:11.660 I can only imagine the heartbreak parents would have if they took an otherwise healthy adolescent male,

00:11:19.640 had them jabbed, and they got severely sick or even worse, died from this vaccine.

00:11:26.060 Absolutely.

00:11:26.880 Well, and I think that a lot of reactions are just being entirely swept under the rug.

00:11:31.220 If you've followed my reports from Dr. Patrick Phillips,

00:11:34.560 who was having all of his adverse reaction reports being disregarded by his medical officer of health

00:11:39.960 and not making it into our adverse report system,

00:11:42.580 to my recent interview with Dr. Byron Bridle, where he says natural immunity is superior.

00:11:48.240 Why aren't we testing people to find out if they are naturally immune?

00:11:53.400 And if they are, then it actually increases their risk of an adverse reaction to the vaccine

00:11:59.200 because they already have those antibodies being made within their immune system.

00:12:04.540 And I actually will have a report out, I think, tomorrow or the next day,

00:12:08.520 of a healthy 16-year-old boy who developed pericarditis post-second Pfizer injection.

00:12:14.600 And so you can find out about his story.

00:12:16.600 And I'm also following the lead on a data analyst who has taken public health's raw epidemiological data

00:12:26.700 and has found the risk of myocarditis and pericarditis in age group,

00:12:31.860 I think it was 12 to 29, is outrageously high.

00:12:36.700 And no one's paying attention to it,

00:12:38.900 especially as they try to start rolling this out in the 5 to 11-year-olds.

00:12:43.760 I mean, this is criminal, in my opinion.

00:12:47.740 I totally concur with you, Tamara.

00:12:49.800 And, you know, how can we even address this situation

00:12:54.140 when we're prevented by the censorious thugs in Silicon Valley from even discussing it?

00:13:00.100 As you know, earlier this week, YouTube enhanced their censorship rules

00:13:05.120 when it comes to having a contrarian opinion or even a discussion about the COVID-19.

00:13:12.740 So the likes of Dr. Phillips, you know, he can't even exist on that platform.

00:13:18.700 And to me, this is egregious because this could be a matter of life and death

00:13:23.640 to otherwise healthy individuals who are very young.

00:13:28.440 Yeah, absolutely.

00:13:29.680 It's a dangerous precedent.

00:13:31.200 And so I hope that as the courts start to open back up,

00:13:35.020 we can start to get some litigation going underway there.

00:13:38.860 I don't know how else to stop it.

00:13:40.300 I mean, I know that if everyone comes together and says no and stops complying,

00:13:45.460 that's the quickest way to get out of this.

00:13:47.400 But it doesn't seem like that's going to happen.

00:13:49.260 So what we're left with is a prolonged process in the courts.

00:13:53.160 But if doctors are being censored from speaking out,

00:13:57.680 it's really dangerous territory that we're living in.

00:14:01.400 And, you know, and contrary to any kind of grace period being allowed,

00:14:07.760 I live in York Region, Tamara.

00:14:09.860 And, you know, on Wednesday, Dr. Kareem Kurji, who is stepping down,

00:14:14.940 he's going into retirement, he dropped a stink bomb.

00:14:18.220 Less than 48 hours notice.

00:14:20.560 All indoor facilities in York Region.

00:14:23.120 So we're talking about hockey rinks.

00:14:24.640 We're talking about martial arts schools.

00:14:26.640 We're talking about dance studios.

00:14:29.800 For teens age 12 to 17, you've got to be double jabbed.

00:14:34.560 Same with the officials.

00:14:35.940 Same with the spectators.

00:14:37.400 Same with the parents.

00:14:38.900 And, I mean, Tamara, give me a break.

00:14:41.880 Two days notice to get this done.

00:14:44.180 There's still tryouts happening.

00:14:45.580 I don't know why this was implemented without any kind of grace period.

00:14:53.100 But I think when we get out of this COVID nonsense,

00:14:57.760 it might be months, it might be years ahead,

00:14:59.900 I think we have to have a serious look, an inquiry even,

00:15:04.520 at how these public health officials who are unelected and not accountable

00:15:09.180 are making these rules that are really ruining and perhaps destroying some lives.

00:15:16.160 Last word goes to you, Tamara. 1.00

00:15:18.500 Absolutely.

00:15:19.240 I agree.

00:15:19.860 And I think that the public health officials need to start showing their work.

00:15:23.720 They come out and they spew all of this jargon and they don't have to back it up.

00:15:28.100 And they don't get automatically labeled as spreading misinformation or disinformation,

00:15:32.120 no matter how wrong they continue to be.

00:15:34.660 And that is a real injustice here because as we see them flip-flopping on the masks,

00:15:40.580 the one dose, the two dose, the boosters, the you can mix doses, you can't mix doses,

00:15:45.980 this dose is safe for this age, it is all just mind-boggling that they can get away with this unscathed.

00:15:54.720 I agree.

00:15:55.600 It is scandalous.

00:15:56.900 And, Tamara, let me tell you, you are doing absolutely superb work on this file.

00:16:02.380 Keep fighting to get the truth out there, my friend.

00:16:06.440 Thanks, David.

00:16:07.160 Appreciate it.

00:16:08.080 You got it.

00:16:08.760 And that was Tamara Ugolini in Coburg, Ontario.

00:16:12.540 Keep it here, folks.

00:16:13.580 More of Rebel Roundup to come right after this.

00:16:21.160 Lincoln J for Rebel News here in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

00:16:23.960 Now behind me, Monstrosity Burger.

00:16:26.300 You may remember Monstrosity Burger from a report we did last week.

00:16:29.860 They're one of the only establishments in Winnipeg that we know of that is taking a stand against the vaccine passport system we are seeing all across Canada.

00:16:38.940 They are simply saying they don't want anything to do with it.

00:16:42.420 With that has come some consequences.

00:16:44.400 Now, just like I said in my report, they've received $60,000 worth of fines for not following these mandates.

00:16:51.180 On top of that, they've had their liquor license removed and they've had a closure notice for indoor dining.

00:16:56.920 As you can see, people are gathered here in support.

00:17:00.120 And if you're like the brave owners of Monstrosity Burger and you're taking a stand against proof of vaccination mandates, let us know at wewon'task.com.

00:17:08.920 We'll report your story.

00:17:10.120 We'll give you one of our stickers to show the public that you are not discriminating against people based on their vaccination status.

00:17:16.780 We're going to talk to some more people here and find out exactly why they're here to support Monstrosity Burger.

00:17:22.520 Let's take a look.

00:17:23.300 Okay, so it's absolutely packed here.

00:17:35.740 People are waiting in line.

00:17:36.660 You have a closure notice for indoor dining, but clearly you're still getting tons of support.

00:17:42.260 Do you want to just tell us what's going on here today?

00:17:44.320 Yeah, we're just having like a get-together for everyone to come pick up food and we're going to have some music outside and just get the community together.

00:17:50.460 And we're just happy to be able to do that.

00:17:52.520 Yeah, there was a bunch of rallies today and it looks like everybody ended up here.

00:17:56.040 And I just wanted to say thank you to everybody that comes.

00:17:59.180 It's just an amazing day.

00:18:01.080 How does it feel having this kind of support from everybody?

00:18:03.200 I know you guys have been through quite a bit.

00:18:05.080 $60,000 in fines now.

00:18:07.700 You had your liquor license recently pulled also.

00:18:10.900 With all that going on, how does it feel that all these people have your back?

00:18:13.940 Oh, it's just so amazing to bring the community together.

00:18:16.200 Like we can see that everyone's kind of like on the same page, obviously, and we want freedom for everybody.

00:18:21.040 My heart just is, I don't even know what to say.

00:18:24.180 It's just crazy.

00:18:25.120 Yeah, it just feels really good.

00:18:27.000 I understand since the last time we spoke, there's been a bit of an update.

00:18:30.420 They pulled your liquor license, correct?

00:18:32.620 Yep.

00:18:32.820 The following day, after we were served to close our indoor dining, they came and pulled our liquor license.

00:18:37.880 So now we're dealing with that.

00:18:38.900 What's going on here today?

00:18:39.740 Well, today we, the owners, Dave and Paulina, really wanted to show their gratitude to those that are supporting us the way they are.

00:18:48.940 Oh, we're here to support Paulina and Dave and this amazing establishment and everything they represent.

00:18:54.320 Exactly.

00:18:55.060 We're here to support a business owner, two of them, in their endeavor to show other business owners that all you lack is the courage to stand against these health orders and open up your business.

00:19:06.880 I am out here to support the people who are against mandatory vaccination.

00:19:12.020 Supporting Monstrosity Burger and everyone here, man, pro-choice.

00:19:16.860 Wow.

00:19:17.240 Did you hear what that fellow had to say, folks?

00:19:19.640 Pro-choice?

00:19:20.680 I remember when pro-choice was a good thing, especially when it came to the oh-so-tolerant, loving left.

00:19:27.980 Or does pro-choice in this day and age of COVID-19 only apply to the termination of a baby's life?

00:19:35.060 Because it would seem that in 2021, the saying, my body, my choice, has perversely devolved into your body, government's choice.

00:19:44.560 And thanks to draconian measures to enforce nonsensical bylaws, hardworking entrepreneurs such as Dave and Paulina Jones, the co-owners of Monstrosity Burger, are indeed paying a hefty price.

00:20:00.480 And joining me now with more on this story is our ace photojournalist, Lincoln Jay.

00:20:05.740 How are you doing there, Lincoln?

00:20:06.900 Good. Thanks for having me on, David.

00:20:08.220 Always a pleasure.

00:20:08.920 Lincoln, what we saw in your video, it was heartwarming.

00:20:13.680 All the solidarity, the people jamming the restaurant, jamming the parking lot, nothing but good vibes.

00:20:19.700 The question, my friend, is this.

00:20:21.820 Is there enough there to prevent Monstrosity Burger from, you know, surrendering to the tyranny of the government?

00:20:31.060 Over $60,000 in fines, the loss of a liquor license.

00:20:35.000 How low will this government go when it comes to making this eatery an example?

00:20:41.120 Well, it's like you saw in my report, the only option they have right now for service is takeout and delivery.

00:20:49.340 Right?

00:20:50.040 So they have a closure notice for indoor dining, so no one's allowed to eat inside the restaurant.

00:20:55.440 Now their liquor license is pulled.

00:20:57.180 So even if people were allowed to eat inside, or I guess they can't serve booze at all through takeout now.

00:21:04.420 So really, it only leaves them the option with takeout.

00:21:07.340 And on top of that, they now have, so they got another fine since my last report, so that's $65,000 worth.

00:21:13.140 $65,000.

00:21:13.960 $65,000.

00:21:14.620 So really, the only other thing that the law enforcement can do in Winnipeg is simply lock the door so that they can't go in at all.

00:21:23.440 Because other than that, they're really just, it's basically like they're in a lockdown setting by only being able to serve takeout.

00:21:30.600 But as you saw in the video, people, the word's gotten out that they are taking the stance that they are.

00:21:36.380 So they're getting lots of support, and I think that they'll, it's unprecedented, so we don't know where this is going to end up, if they'll get that liquor license back, etc.

00:21:45.880 But for the time being, I think they're going to be okay.

00:21:48.820 You know, Lincoln, I'm just wondering, though, because we saw back in November, you were Johnny on the spot at Adamson Barbecue.

00:21:58.140 Adam Skelly, the great Canadian barbecue rebellion.

00:22:01.020 The patients ran out on day three.

00:22:04.560 Literally, all the king's horses and all the king's men came charging in.

00:22:08.520 Adam Skelly, handcuffed, stuffed in a cruiser, a knight in the cooler.

00:22:12.980 That was the city, I think, making an example out of Adam Skelly.

00:22:17.380 Just saying to everybody else out there, if you have the temerity to do what he's doing, how do you like being on the 6 o'clock news?

00:22:23.760 How do you like being thrown in jail?

00:22:26.540 Could this potentially happen to Monstrosity Burger?

00:22:29.900 As you mentioned, $65,000 in fines, the liquor license taken away.

00:22:35.980 I'm just wondering what other weapons are in the quiver of the state.

00:22:41.000 Yeah, so I guess, like I said, it's unprecedented in Winnipeg, at least.

00:22:44.940 Like we saw with Adam Skelly, he just kept doing it anyways, right?

00:22:50.200 After they, I believe they gave him a similar kind of notice.

00:22:53.820 Although we were in lockdown at the time, they gave him another closure notice for indoor dining, right?

00:22:58.960 So he repeatedly went against what, I guess, bylaw or John Tory was saying at the time, right?

00:23:06.120 So for the time being, it seems like the owners at Monstrosity Burger, they're not going to open up their dining room.

00:23:14.580 That's just as it is right now.

00:23:16.180 They are operating through takeout and delivery.

00:23:18.300 So I guess really we're going to have to wait and see.

00:23:20.640 But I wouldn't be surprised if they did follow through with it.

00:23:24.140 If, let's say, tomorrow they open up their restaurant, who knows?

00:23:28.420 Because, like I said, there isn't many other restaurants in Winnipeg that are taking this route.

00:23:33.760 So it could very well be that they would make an example to them.

00:23:36.600 But right now, we don't know.

00:23:38.180 Well, in a sense, can you blame them, Lincoln?

00:23:39.980 I mean, $65,000.

00:23:42.140 I mean, you know, in another life, I covered the food service industry.

00:23:45.520 I think this is the hardest business in the world to make a living.

00:23:50.680 I believe it's 80% of startup restaurants fail in the first three years of operation.

00:23:56.440 Who needs tens of thousands of dollars of fines?

00:23:59.840 And yet, my heart goes out to the operators of Monstrosity Burger.

00:24:04.240 I mean, they're in the business of hospitality, not hostility.

00:24:09.260 You expect the hostess to welcome you into the restaurant with a smile, not your papers, please.

00:24:14.920 I mean, once upon a time, it was against the law to ask somebody what their medical status was.

00:24:21.840 This is crazy to me.

00:24:23.560 Yeah, it's unbelievable.

00:24:24.780 And on top of that, so if you're a host or a hostess now, and you're greeting someone at the door,

00:24:30.500 a lot of small restaurants, too, they don't even have hostesses, right?

00:24:34.280 It'll be servers that are just swinging around the restaurant, and they'll greet somebody and sit them down.

00:24:39.300 It's more so chain restaurants and stuff that have hosts and hostesses.

00:24:42.460 But nonetheless, it's now another duty, another role for these employees of the restaurant.

00:24:50.600 And it's nothing that they signed up for.

00:24:52.280 It's basically making them government workers, in a sense.

00:24:56.040 Yeah.

00:24:56.980 They're making, the government's making them take on the role of bylaw or law enforcement.

00:25:02.640 Or for that matter, the hostess is now the bouncer, right?

00:25:06.820 You know, and you can imagine, it must be happening.

00:25:10.260 We've seen reports of it, of really bad verbal confrontations.

00:25:14.980 And to me, it's so lose-lose.

00:25:16.800 I have a lot of patients for those who are not vaccinated, who want to eat indoors.

00:25:24.320 I also, my heart goes out to the restaurant sector.

00:25:27.320 For a year and a half, they've been just whacked by all these closure orders, Lincoln.

00:25:34.620 And you'd think that this is the time for them to welcome as many customers into their eateries as possible.

00:25:41.100 And the government's going, no, no, no, we want you to pick and choose.

00:25:44.160 That's not right.

00:25:45.220 Exactly.

00:25:45.640 And the customers, a lot of these customers, maybe they are people that are unvaccinated.

00:25:50.700 They're, you know, they're the people that were supporting these restaurants when we were locked down.

00:25:55.140 Remember when it was all about ordering from restaurants, ordering takeout from restaurants?

00:25:58.840 That was the big push, right, to help these small businesses.

00:26:01.580 And now they want these business owners, you know, ones that aren't following this stance of enforcing vaccine passports.

00:26:08.740 They want them now to turn away these people that have had their back for the past, what is it, 19 months now.

00:26:15.300 You know what?

00:26:16.280 That is an excellent point.

00:26:18.060 It's much like for months the narrative was, thank you, frontline workers.

00:26:22.940 And now we have hundreds of health care workers being fired from a health care system that is already frayed at the seams, if you believe what you read.

00:26:32.080 It's funny how the, you know, the tables change so quickly in terms of the what have you done lately for me department.

00:26:43.360 It's unbelievable, isn't it?

00:26:44.600 Yeah.

00:26:44.900 You know, we're having parades, celebrations, we're absolutely saluting frontline workers, right?

00:26:52.320 And now, again, these same people, you know, that the government has been pushing to, and like, we should be, we should be praising them, right?

00:27:00.740 But now they're firing the same people that we were praising because they're not taking a shot.

00:27:06.200 I don't know, everything, like we've said many times, everything just seems backwards.

00:27:09.520 And who's doing the firing, Lincoln?

00:27:12.000 It is the governments, it is the bureaucrats, it is the public health authorities.

00:27:18.360 We've been told since this pandemic began, we're all in this together.

00:27:23.680 But none of those people I just mentioned, they haven't lost one single day's worth of pay, have they?

00:27:28.960 Nothing.

00:27:29.820 Unbelievable.

00:27:30.640 Yeah.

00:27:31.500 One last question.

00:27:33.200 They're reduced to takeout and delivery.

00:27:35.120 Can they make a go of it?

00:27:37.460 As in, will they survive?

00:27:38.560 Yes.

00:27:39.040 I think they, if the support continues the way it has been, the way we've seen in the video,

00:27:44.500 because not just that day in that video where we saw tons of people outside the restaurant, it's been like that.

00:27:49.320 They've had lineups outside for takeout, so.

00:27:51.800 Fantastic.

00:27:52.660 Hopefully the tide just keeps rolling and they can make it through, who knows, maybe, let's just pray that these passports maybe disappear.

00:28:00.920 I don't know if that's going to happen, but if that's the case, maybe everything, they'll be fine, but let's see what happens.

00:28:06.780 I hope you're right.

00:28:07.660 Great report, Lincoln.

00:28:09.280 And what can I tell you, folks?

00:28:10.560 I mean, it may be called monstrosity burger.

00:28:13.180 The monsters in this story are those in government and law enforcement and bylaw that are bringing grief to this couple,

00:28:20.600 just trying to make an honest living.

00:28:22.980 It is just despicable, and I hope things get back to normal for them,

00:28:28.020 and it does not go down the route of Adamson Barbecue.

00:28:31.680 More of Rebel Roundup to come right after this.

00:28:39.380 Oh, my God.

00:28:40.540 Canada has apparently experienced its day of infamy.

00:28:44.480 What is it this time, you say?

00:28:47.040 Well, PPC leader Maxime Bernier has allegedly assaulted and doxed members of the beloved media party.

00:28:55.940 Well, sort of. 0.99

00:28:58.180 By way of explanation, Bernier had mentioned three mainstream media reporters in a tweet calling them idiots 1.00

00:29:05.560 and describing their efforts to question him as disgusting smear jobs. 0.99

00:29:11.740 He then made note of their email addresses and urged supporters to give them a piece of their minds.

00:29:17.800 This apparently is doxing.

00:29:20.200 Yeah, except that it isn't.

00:29:23.800 Doxing would be sending out the home addresses of those journalists,

00:29:28.020 something Bernier would never do, and he didn't do.

00:29:31.480 He distributed email addresses that are already publicly available.

00:29:36.660 I mean, why would a journalist want to keep his or her email secret?

00:29:41.060 You want to be accessible to sources and whistleblowers and your own audience, right?

00:29:47.560 As for the assaults, well, those would be written assaults.

00:29:53.060 Now, granted, some of the emails sent by some PPC supporters were vile indeed,

00:29:59.820 from rape threats to comments that reeked of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia.

00:30:05.880 Those emails are indeed despicable and need to be condemned.

00:30:10.700 But these emails were not sent out by Mr. Bernier. 0.98

00:30:14.840 By the way, folks, you should see the email garbage we receive here at Rebel. 0.93

00:30:21.600 For months, there was some crazy individual who always prefaced his attack on me by stating, 0.98

00:30:28.840 quote, how can we trust anything David Menzies says, given that he is a convicted pedophile, end quote. 0.79

00:30:35.900 You know, I didn't go running to the Canadian Association of Journalists. 0.75

00:30:39.560 Rather, I laughed at the perverse absurdity of it, and I moved on. 0.88

00:30:45.580 Oh, and of course, going to the CAJ would be a fool's errand. 0.77

00:30:50.020 They only stand up for the offended MSM types.

00:30:53.840 Remember when my colleague, Sheila Gunn-Reed, was physically assaulted at a feminist rally in Edmonton 0.99

00:31:00.020 by a pathetic soy boy named Dion Buse? 1.00

00:31:04.580 As in the back, fuck you. 1.00

00:31:07.620 Okay, so wouldn't you say that it would be feminine? 1.00

00:31:11.020 No, no, no, I'm just asking you a question.

00:31:12.660 Do I seem unreasonable to you?

00:31:14.180 Yes, she's my reasonable.

00:31:14.940 Because I seem really pleasant.

00:31:16.700 Am I coming across as pleasant green?

00:31:18.600 Yeah, absolutely.

00:31:19.680 We're just trying to have a conversation here.

00:31:21.200 I'm trying to have a conversation with you.

00:31:23.460 Go away. 1.00

00:31:23.960 Get out of my fucking face. 1.00

00:31:25.300 I will break your camera. 1.00

00:31:26.280 You don't have the right to.

00:31:28.200 Whoa.

00:31:28.900 Guys, let's calm down.

00:31:30.220 Calm down.

00:31:30.640 You don't have the right to film me everywhere you go.

00:31:32.880 Yes, she does.

00:31:33.620 Yeah, I do.

00:31:34.500 You just hit me in the face.

00:31:36.040 Guys, guys.

00:31:36.960 You're not the same, right?

00:31:37.840 No, don't.

00:31:38.560 Hey, don't tell me to calm down.

00:31:40.280 That guy can't just hit that face.

00:31:40.720 You guys should move away. 0.99

00:31:42.080 You deserve to be angry.

00:31:43.160 You deserve to be angry.

00:31:44.220 Yeah.

00:31:44.840 What are you doing?

00:31:45.420 I'm trying to do with surgery.

00:31:47.460 No, don't get in between me.

00:31:48.980 Get in between me.

00:31:49.740 That guy is a feminist. 1.00

00:31:51.180 That guy just hit me in the face. 0.86

00:31:52.560 I'm watching you.

00:31:53.460 I'm watching you.

00:31:53.540 It doesn't matter.

00:31:55.460 Do I deserve it?

00:31:56.460 Do I deserve it?

00:31:56.480 Do I deserve it?

00:31:56.960 Do I deserve it?

00:31:57.720 Do I deserve it?

00:31:58.680 Do I deserve it?

00:31:59.660 Do I deserve it?

00:32:00.460 Oh, no condemnation by the CAJ there.

00:32:04.760 And later, a puff piece was broadcast by the CBC about this jabroni's guitar shop.

00:32:12.600 Unbelievable.

00:32:13.900 Naturally, Bernier's Twitter account was suspended by the Silicon Valley censor for some 12 hours.

00:32:20.580 Twitter said in a media statement that Bernier's tweets violated the company's private information policy.

00:32:28.320 Oh, well, of course it did, just like President Donald Trump's did.

00:32:32.500 Meanwhile, Twitter dare not suspend the accounts of terrorist groups and terrorist-friendly regimes.

00:32:39.100 That might be culturally insensitive.

00:32:42.600 Then, CBC Radio Canada issued a press release offering support to journalists who have become the subject of online harassment because of the work they do.

00:32:54.340 Quote, it should be obvious to all Canadians that this harassment is unacceptable behavior.

00:33:01.440 When the incitement to harass journalists comes from public figures, it is even worse.

00:33:07.860 Criticism comes with the job, but online harassment, particularly inciting others to attack someone for doing their job, puts the safety of people at risk.

00:33:18.260 That the worst of this abuse targets women and racialized journalists should make clear just how dangerous this is.

00:33:28.120 End quote.

00:33:29.140 Why does CBC always make it about race?

00:33:32.900 Ah, the poor little snowflakes in the media party.

00:33:35.820 Oh, so sensitive taxpayer-funded spirit unicorns who melt away when confronted with any criticism.

00:33:42.840 Let us all engage in a moment of silence for these sad sack sluggos. 1.00

00:33:48.600 Actually, let's not.

00:33:50.480 In any event, you had plenty to say about yet another smear job perpetrated against Maxime Bernier

00:33:57.360 that was driven by a political agenda as opposed to anything based in fact.

00:34:04.280 Steve Botham writes,

00:34:05.760 Bernier released the names of reporters who wrote bogus stories and signed their names to the stories,

00:34:12.960 then made said stories public by having them published, so no doxing there.

00:34:19.240 Also listed their work email addresses, which can be found sometimes alongside their names at the bottom of their hit pieces.

00:34:27.620 Other times they are available on the website directories for their individual companies.

00:34:32.680 So all info he posted in his tweet was publicly available and did not dox anyone unlike the maggots that work in the left-wing media who dox people all the time.

00:34:46.540 Well, you know what?

00:34:47.140 You got it right, Steve.

00:34:48.240 Despite the hysterics, no actual crime was committed here.

00:34:52.200 And I remember when the late, great Rob Ford was mayor of Toronto, the media jackals literally camped outside his home simply to harass and intimidate him.

00:35:05.020 Talk about doxing, indeed.

00:35:08.060 Smokin writes,

00:35:09.100 Maxine is honest and true to his word, even if some don't like it.

00:35:33.920 Maxine has integrity and has earned respect.

00:35:38.240 I'll never forget that.

00:35:40.080 Well, Smokin, I have this to say.

00:35:42.620 I have zero doubt that there are thousands and thousands of ex-conservatives right across Canada who feel exactly the way you do, 0.99

00:35:52.660 thanks to the heaping double-helping of such testicular challenge leaders as Andrew Scheer and Aaron O'Toole, or as I like to call them, dumb and dumber. 0.98

00:36:05.220 Commie Crusher writes, 0.98

00:36:06.620 The Canadian Liberal Party of Canada-funded fake news factories need to be defunded.

00:36:12.620 Well, the fact is, Commie Crusher, defunding the CBC is indeed a major PPC policy plank, which more or less explains why the CBC detests Mr. Bernier.

00:36:25.680 And finally, Chris Van Slyke writes,

00:36:30.040 The question sent by the journalists to the PPC, I would consider them to be harassment.

00:36:36.740 They went to a radical left-wing ideologue who clearly has a beef with any position right of Marxism,

00:36:44.660 who labels the PPC as supportive of and representative of hate-motivated white supremacists.

00:36:52.620 Well, well said, Chris, and I can tell you,

00:37:13.900 I thought the most appalling moment regarding the inherent bias of the MSM when it comes to Bernier and the PPC

00:37:22.640 came courtesy of Alan Carter on AM640 Toronto,

00:37:27.600 a newly woke radio station that lingers at the bottom of the ratings heap thanks to its corporate masters global news.

00:37:35.520 In any event, on the Alan Carter show on the Friday before the election,

00:37:40.020 the topic was the unexpected surge in the polls by the PPC.

00:37:45.740 That's definitely a good topic.

00:37:48.500 But get this, folks, the guest Carter interviewed to give insight on this surge in popularity

00:37:55.520 was Dr. Barbara Perry, the director of the Center on Hate, Bias and Extremism.

00:38:03.460 What the hell?

00:38:05.720 It's the PPC we're talking about here, not the KKK. 0.91

00:38:11.040 You know, Bernier's nickname is Mad Max. 0.96

00:38:15.340 Can you blame him for being angry given the mainstream media garbage he has to deal with 0.95

00:38:21.800 on a seemingly never-ending basis? 0.86

00:38:25.300 Well, that wraps up another edition of Rebel Roundup.

00:38:28.340 Thanks so much for joining us.

00:38:29.620 See you next week.

00:38:30.340 And hey, folks, never forget, without risk, there can be no glory.

00:38:34.780 Good night.

00:38:35.180 Good night.
