00:00:00.000 Hello, my friends. An amazing story about Nigeria, of all places.
00:00:04.440 Donald Trump suddenly takes Nigeria and puts it to the top of his agenda.
00:00:08.360 Why? Because they are allowing Islamic terrorism against Christians.
00:00:13.240 And Trump says he's got to stop that.
00:00:15.080 If Nigeria doesn't stop it, Trump will.
00:00:17.520 It's just actually an incredible story.
00:00:19.900 I'd like you to see it, not just hear it.

00:00:50.660 Tonight, Donald Trump does something I've never seen before.
00:00:54.060 He speaks out in defense of Christians who are being killed in Nigeria.
00:00:58.660 It's November 3rd, and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.
00:01:04.260 Shame on you, you censorious bug.
00:01:16.360 Donald Trump did something amazing for Christians.
00:01:19.560 I've recently been butting heads with some online Nazis.
00:01:22.580 I'm not saying that as an insult.
00:01:24.900 I'm saying that to describe who they are and what they are.
00:01:27.600 I mean, here's Nick Fuentes, the toast of people like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson.
00:01:32.860 I told my parents, I'm like, Mom, Dad, the Holocaust didn't happen.
00:01:35.980 And they were like, we did not raise you this way.
00:01:38.880 I remember coming home from college in my second semester.
00:01:45.440 You know, I got home in the spring, and I was like, Mom, Dad, Hitler was awesome.
00:01:49.740 Hitler was right.
00:01:51.200 And the Holocaust didn't happen.
00:01:53.340 And my parents were like, we cannot believe what you are saying.
00:01:58.200 We did not raise you like this.
00:01:59.800 I'm like, I can't believe you're not being chill about this.
00:02:02.960 I was like shocked, because my parents aren't even that political.
00:02:07.000 I mean, my parents are like vaguely conservative, you know, like boomers are.
00:02:12.260 And I thought they'd be down to fuck about it.
00:02:15.620 I was like, yeah, guys, guess what?
00:02:17.540 You're never going to believe what I discovered.
00:02:19.760 And they were so not cool about it.
00:02:22.360 They were pissed.
00:02:24.120 There is an occult element at the high levels of society,
00:02:29.380 and specifically among the Jews.
00:02:32.680 So many of the people that are perpetrating the lies and the destruction on the country,
00:02:38.160 they are evildoers.
00:02:40.620 They are people that worship false gods.
00:02:42.740 They are people that practice magic or rituals or whatever.
00:02:47.120 And more than anything, those people need to be, when we take power,
00:02:51.460 they need to be given the death penalty.
00:02:54.040 Straight up.
00:02:54.940 And I'm far more concerned about that than I am about even non-white people or mass migration.
00:03:04.900 These people that are communing with demons and engaging in this sort of witchcraft and stuff,
00:03:10.300 and these people that are suppressing the name Christ and suppressing Christianity,
00:03:14.800 they must be absolutely annihilated when we take power.
00:03:18.800 This is God's country.
00:03:20.100 This is Jesus' country.
00:03:21.340 This is not the domain of atheists or devil worshippers or perfidious Jews.
00:03:27.260 This is Christ's country.
00:03:29.440 Why don't you and Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin and Laura Loomer,
00:03:33.500 you unlikable, despicable pieces of shit,
00:03:37.600 why don't you get the fuck out of America and go to Israel,
00:03:40.920 which we all know you love so much.
00:03:44.060 Do us all a favor.
00:03:45.360 Otherwise, you better get on board because whether you like it or not, this country is done.
00:03:54.540 We are done with the Jewish oligarchy.
00:03:58.120 We are done with the slavish surrender to Israel, the wars, the foreign aid,
00:04:04.480 the policing of anti-Semitism, the Holocaust religion and propaganda.
00:04:10.220 You know it.
00:04:12.120 I know it.
00:04:13.640 The young people in this country, the next generation, God bless them.
00:04:18.600 On the left and the right, they know that you are full of shit.
00:04:22.600 They're finished.
00:04:23.820 He also says he supports Joseph Stalin.
00:04:26.820 So it was like mid-December, mid-late December.
00:04:29.660 It's actually funny.
00:04:30.500 It was December 18th.
00:04:31.420 I remember it because that's an important date to me.
00:04:33.880 And it's Joseph Stalin's birthday.
00:04:36.820 I'm a fan.
00:04:37.940 You're a fan of Stalin's?
00:04:39.400 I was an admirer.
00:04:40.840 But we don't need to go into that, I guess.
00:04:44.280 Okay, let's get back to it.
00:04:46.380 We'll circle back to that.
00:04:47.760 So I really don't think you could call him conservative or liberal.
00:04:51.220 And I'm not sure if he's right or left.
00:04:53.020 I think he's just a general troll who says whatever he thinks will give him another burst of publicity.
00:04:58.300 And I suppose I'm giving him his publicity too.
00:05:01.480 The only unifying theme in what he says, I think, is that he hates the Jews.
00:05:05.860 I just don't think it's enough of a philosophical worldview.
00:05:09.600 But one of the things that Fuentes says is that he's Christian.
00:05:14.100 I don't believe that he is.
00:05:15.380 And I don't believe that he actually thinks he is.
00:05:17.800 I think it's just a prop in two ways.
00:05:20.380 I think, first of all, it's just his way to distinguish himself from the Jews that he hates.
00:05:24.900 And he hates other minorities too, of course.
00:05:26.500 He once said that race mixing is as degenerate as having sex with an animal.
00:05:32.940 Would you say that me having sex with my dog is the same thing as me having sex with a black man?
00:05:37.380 No.
00:05:38.360 But they're both, they would both be degenerate.
00:05:40.440 Oh!
00:05:41.480 This!
00:05:42.380 Her!
00:05:42.600 Well, that's a little bit, you know, that's a little bit harsh.
00:05:49.240 Well...
00:05:49.680 Could be seen as harsh.
00:05:50.620 Could be seen as disrespectful.
00:05:52.280 Yeah, I don't think Christians believe in that kind of thing.
00:05:55.020 I think Christians believe that every person has the spark of God in them, in their humanity.
00:06:00.740 I think Christians believe in the sanctity of life and that every human being has dignity.
00:06:05.320 And everyone can be saved, even if they're a sinner, even if they've done terrible things.
00:06:11.900 Every time I travel to some place far away, I don't know about you, but I'm grateful when I go somewhere that the Christian missionaries had been there first.
00:06:20.320 I mean, whatever else you might say about Central America and South America, aren't you glad that they're Christian?
00:06:26.680 How about Polynesia, all the islands in the Pacific, including Hawaii and the Philippines?
00:06:31.200 Aren't you glad that half of Nigeria is Christian?
00:06:37.300 I sure am.
00:06:38.960 Don't you wish that Syria and Iraq and Lebanon and Egypt and Turkey were still Christian?
00:06:44.640 I do.
00:06:46.360 And every country I've just listed is non-white.
00:06:49.740 That's my point.
00:06:50.420 Imagine thinking that Nick Fuentes or his racist followers are somehow Christian, let alone pro-American.
00:06:55.980 But I mentioned Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa.
00:07:01.060 It's almost exactly half Muslim, half Christian.
00:07:04.580 And there's constant terror attacks against the Christian side from the Muslim side.
00:07:11.180 You've heard of a terrorist group called Boko Haram before, perhaps?
00:07:15.680 It actually uses the same flag as ISIS.
00:07:18.460 So that tells you all you need to know.
00:07:20.040 They're butchers.
00:07:20.900 They commit horrific atrocities.
00:07:22.540 Often they'll kidnap every girl from a village or from a girl's school, and they'll convert
00:07:27.660 them all to Islam using the threat of raping them all or killing them all.
00:07:31.580 Just horrific barbarity.
00:07:33.320 There's a reason it's considered a terrorist group in many countries, not just in the West,
00:07:37.560 but even in China, if you can believe it.
00:07:40.060 Boko Haram is a terrorist group.
00:07:42.400 The thing is, it's a festering wound in Nigeria, and it's not getting fixed.
00:07:46.200 And Trump, well, he's in the mood to fix things, isn't he?
00:07:49.480 I mean, it seems like every month he announces a negotiated solution to another war around
00:07:54.240 the world, about which the mainstream media before then didn't care and probably didn't
00:07:59.060 even know about.
00:08:00.120 But Trump somehow goes in and knocks some heads together and gets a solution, often
00:08:05.960 using the threat of U.S. military power, but more, I think, U.S. economic power.
00:08:11.220 And the thing is that, unfortunately, it doesn't work with Islamic jihadists, now does it?
00:08:15.940 They're not really interested in a trade deal or redrawing a few lines on a map.
00:08:20.900 They believe in martyrdom to serve their supremacist vision.
00:08:24.300 Any agreement they make is just a temporary truce from which to strengthen their next attack.
00:08:29.580 That's why I'm pessimistic about the Gaza deal at the end of the day.
00:08:32.480 It actually presumes Hamas will remove itself from Gaza.
00:08:36.380 I don't think they will.
00:08:37.880 But back to Nigeria.
00:08:39.820 On Friday, Donald Trump wrote this.
00:08:43.700 He said, Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria.
00:08:49.400 Thousands of Christians are being killed.
00:08:51.600 Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter.
00:08:54.940 I am hereby making Nigeria a country of particular concern.
00:08:59.460 But that is the least of it.
00:09:01.100 When Christians or any such group is slaughtered, like is happening in Nigeria, 3,100 versus 4,476
00:09:08.000 worldwide, something must be done.
00:09:10.280 I am asking Congressman Riley Moore, together with Chairman Tom Cole and the House Appropriations
00:09:16.960 Committee, to immediately look into this matter and report back to me.
00:09:20.700 The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria and numerous
00:09:26.140 other countries.
00:09:27.400 We stand ready, willing, and able to save our great Christian population around the world.
00:09:32.260 Donald J. Trump.
00:09:33.560 Very interesting.
00:09:34.480 I love how he phrases things sometimes.
00:09:36.280 Our great Christian population around the world.
00:09:38.440 Well, I suppose he didn't get the reaction he wanted from Nigeria.
00:09:42.620 Though, in fairness to the Nigerians, I think it was the weekend already when he put that
00:09:47.660 social media post out.
00:09:49.340 But Trump posted this on Saturday, just 26 hours later.
00:09:53.920 Let me read this to you.
00:09:54.960 That's the last of the reading I'll do.
00:09:56.820 He said,
00:09:57.200 If the Nigerian government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the USA will immediately
00:10:02.460 stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria and may very well go into that now disgraced country
00:10:08.420 guns a-blazing to completely wipe out the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible
00:10:13.620 atrocities.
00:10:14.380 I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action.
00:10:20.300 If we attack it, we'll be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack
00:10:24.260 our cherished Christians.
00:10:26.460 Warning, the Nigerian government better move fast.
00:10:30.880 Yeah, that's quite something to write, isn't it?
00:10:33.780 Tell me any other world leader who would communicate like this.
00:10:37.340 Strike that.
00:10:37.940 Tell me any other world leader who would communicate like this and have the ability to actually
00:10:41.700 follow through.
00:10:43.240 I mean, talk is chief, right?
00:10:44.760 But Trump gets to the point in a few sentences, it's diplomacy like we've never seen it before,
00:10:49.800 and you better believe he means it.
00:10:51.900 And now the Secretary of War, as you know, that's the new title for the Defense Secretary,
00:10:55.820 he wrote back to Trump online saying simply,
00:10:59.120 Yes, sir, the killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria and anywhere must end immediately.
00:11:04.380 The Department of War is preparing for action.
00:11:07.240 Either the Nigerian government protects Christians or we will kill the Islamic terrorists who are
00:11:11.320 committing these horrible atrocities.
00:11:14.400 Now, I'm guessing that the Nigerian government is happy to comply.
00:11:18.000 I'm no expert in Nigeria, but I think they genuinely have problems with Islamic jihadists,
00:11:23.180 and they're not so much permitting it as they're simply unable to fight back conclusively.
00:11:29.560 Here's what the Nigerian government said on Saturday after this flurry of social media.
00:11:35.160 The Nigerian government on Saturday vowed to keep fighting violent extremism and said it hoped
00:11:40.760 Washington would remain a close ally after President Donald Trump added the West African
00:11:44.380 nation to a U.S. watch list over what he said were threats to Christianity.
00:11:49.220 Quote,
00:11:49.440 I think that might be a way of them saying,
00:12:05.220 look, we've got more than 100 million Muslims here,
00:12:08.160 boss, and 12 of our states, 12 states in Nigeria, like provinces, are governed by Sharia law.
00:12:15.220 Did you know that?
00:12:16.900 I mean, it's, they really do, like in the Koran.
00:12:19.940 Let me read a few lines from this Council of Foreign Relations essay.
00:12:23.200 Anyway, inhumane Sharia punishments, including flogging, amputations, and stoning have long
00:12:28.980 embarrassed the federal government of Nigeria.
00:12:30.840 That is happening now with the 121th prison sentence handed down by a Kano Sharia court
00:12:38.020 to a 13-year-old boy, Omer Farouk, and the death sentence handed down by the same court,
00:12:43.780 again for blasphemy, on a 22-year-old musician, Yaya Sharif, for a song he shared on social media.
00:12:51.060 A third, Mubarak Bala, a supplicant atheist, has disappeared in police custody.
00:12:57.180 These cases have attracted attention in the international press and in Nigeria.
00:13:00.920 Let me point out that all of the people who were arrested, prosecuted, charged, convicted,
00:13:07.540 sentenced in that story I just quoted, they're Muslim themselves.
00:13:12.720 The Sharia law in Nigerian provinces applies to the Muslims in those provinces.
00:13:17.520 So all the people who were in trouble I just listed are actually Muslims or atheists or
00:13:23.580 moderate Muslims being just massacred by the government.
00:13:28.200 What do you do?
00:13:29.220 I mean, that's not a terrorist attack.
00:13:30.640 That's their legal system.
00:13:32.420 You see the pickle Nigeria is in?
00:13:34.380 So yeah, I have no idea how you can run a country of nearly a quarter of a billion people,
00:13:41.360 half Muslim, half Christian, 12 Sharia provinces.
00:13:44.320 Oh, and an annual GDP of only around $1,000 per person.
00:13:48.540 I don't know how you do it.
00:13:50.120 But I do know this.
00:13:51.060 If there's something that can be done and isn't being done now, Trump will find it and
00:13:55.420 do it.
00:13:56.380 Or more likely pressure the Nigerians into doing it.
00:13:59.660 They don't want to be marginalized like South Africa is.
00:14:02.840 Trump calling them out for their anti-white racism.
00:14:06.180 I don't know if you saw that story.
00:14:08.260 I mentioned it in passing the other day.
00:14:09.920 Amazing news last week, quote, U.S. to drop refugee intake to 7,500, down from more than
00:14:16.900 100,000 under Biden.
00:14:18.940 The vast majority of those being accepted during the fiscal year were white South Africans and
00:14:24.500 other victims of illegal or unjust discrimination, a White House memo says.
00:14:29.940 Now, Nigeria is not as belligerent as South Africa is.
00:14:33.620 At least I don't think it is.
00:14:34.840 I'm riveted by all of this.
00:14:36.620 I mean, will Trump and the Pentagon start doing what they're doing off the coast of
00:14:41.240 Venezuela?
00:14:42.100 I don't know if you've been following what the U.S.
00:14:43.580 Navy is targeting individual boats from drug smugglers and just blowing them up in open
00:14:48.860 waters.
00:14:49.500 It's very dramatic.
00:14:50.480 I mean, in a way, you've got an aircraft carrier and major naval assets just taking out
00:14:54.460 these little speedboats.
00:14:55.460 It's sort of like shooting fish in a barrel.
00:14:59.180 Would Trump and the Pentagon do similar in and out special forces raids on Boko Haram headquarters
00:15:06.340 in Nigeria?
00:15:07.640 Nigeria is a big country.
00:15:09.680 Maybe the Nigerians would want the help.
00:15:12.200 Maybe U.S. technology ranging from wiretapping to satellite and drone imagery to special equipment,
00:15:18.420 even drones.
00:15:20.020 Maybe the U.S. can simply do technologically what the Nigerians can't do.
00:15:24.080 That's my guess.
00:15:25.040 I mean, have you ever heard of the Nigerian army before?
00:15:27.900 I'm not saying it's got nothing, but it obviously would be no match for the technology of the
00:15:32.700 U.S. military.
00:15:34.420 Maybe a few days worth of raids and missiles and drones can dramatically degrade Boko Haram.
00:15:39.640 I don't know.
00:15:40.080 I have no idea.
00:15:41.200 Nigeria is so massive, though.
00:15:42.580 It's not like Gaza.
00:15:43.800 It's huge.
00:15:44.880 I don't know about any of those details.
00:15:46.760 I'm just not going to pretend I'm a Nigeria expert.
00:15:49.160 But I do know this.
00:15:50.100 In one fell swoop, Donald Trump just did more for actual Christians than any of the online
00:15:56.680 Nazis who claim to be motivated by Christianity, though not a Christianity I think many of
00:16:01.240 us would recognize.
00:16:03.060 Even if Trump doesn't, in the end, make a substantial difference in Nigeria, he's already
00:16:08.200 made an enormous moral difference, a symbolic difference, hasn't he?
00:16:12.080 He's normalized caring about Christians.
00:16:14.320 He's normalized talking about anti-Christian persecution, and he's normalizing deploying
00:16:19.920 the U.S. military to defend Christians around the world.
00:16:23.000 And why not?
00:16:24.260 For decades, it seems like the Pentagon's mission has been to help Muslims.
00:16:28.720 I mean, think about all the wars America's had in Kuwait, in Iraq, in Libya, in Somalia,
00:16:34.580 in Qatar, in Afghanistan, and even in Kosovo.
00:16:37.420 Like, for a generation, trillions of dollars, thousands of lives, to fix Muslim countries.
00:16:45.100 Why not spend some of that firepower actually helping Christians around the world who need
00:16:48.940 it, whether it's in the form of refugee status for those Boer farmers of South Africa, or helping
00:16:54.280 Christians in Nigeria?
00:16:55.700 I got to say, I like it.
00:16:57.940 Do you?
00:16:59.440 Stay with us for more.
00:17:07.420 Hey, welcome back.
00:17:09.920 You know, last time we did something in Rebel News we've never done before.
00:17:12.480 We did a completely French live stream.
00:17:15.920 Alexa Lavoie was in the chair.
00:17:17.160 Guillaume Roy was helping.
00:17:18.780 We were covering the municipal elections in the province of Quebec.
00:17:22.500 We had thousands of viewers.
00:17:24.220 Isn't that amazing?
00:17:25.200 Rebel News.
00:17:26.160 Born in English Canada.
00:17:27.820 I'm originally in Albertan myself, having that Western flavor.
00:17:31.080 But now, we flew the flag for almost four hours in Francais.
00:17:37.360 Here's a little bit of a conversation about that earlier on today's English language live stream.
00:17:42.000 Take a look.
00:17:44.040 Yes, well, speaking of Alexa, she did fantastic work covering the Montreal mayoral election.
00:17:50.460 We have a new mayor in Montreal, originally from Chile, Martinez Ferrata.
00:17:55.640 So, let's get to the crux of the matter, Alexa.
00:17:59.160 Who is this woman?
00:18:00.180 What does she stand for?
00:18:01.820 Is this good news or bad?
00:18:04.020 But, first of all, she is a former Trudeau cabinet.
00:18:09.220 She has been, she was the MP in Oshlaga.
00:18:13.740 She's also been a minister.
00:18:17.680 The thing is, she has been the MP for Oshlaga.
00:18:23.060 And during the time she was the MP for this riding, Oshlaga went down, down.
00:18:33.580 Homelessness just increased, safety in the street went really, really bad, garbages everywhere, dirty, unsafe area.
00:18:47.920 And now she is the new mayor.
00:18:51.640 And I find that pretty funny when we hear the mainstream media saying, oh, we might have a center-right mayor.
00:19:02.960 What is center-right about her?
00:19:07.220 Nothing.
00:19:07.780 First of all, she, okay, the only thing that I would say that at the beginning I was like, okay, great, something great.
00:19:19.040 She was talking about the cycle lane that we might have to do something about it because there is some of the cycle lane that are blocking streets, traffic, ambulance.
00:19:31.800 And it's, it's just not doing well.
00:19:35.860 And then during the debate, she say, oh, but we will not remove cycle lane.
00:19:41.100 We will just like, you know, make sure that everything is in harmony with the rest of the place.
00:19:47.580 I'm just like, okay, you change your mind already.
00:19:50.220 So it's not looking that well.
00:19:54.540 Also, I want to play a clip of Soraya Martinez and Le Craboin.
00:20:00.560 Le Craboin is actually the one following the track of Valérie Plante.
00:20:06.640 It's the same party.
00:20:08.340 Talking about the street prayer.
00:20:12.160 And I want you to see how she reacted about it.
00:20:40.800 OK.
00:20:41.300 Donc, Soraya Martinez-Ferrada, doit-on encadrer ça?
00:21:01.560 Donc, Alexa, I don't understand her answer.
00:21:05.640 Is she for or against removing people, blocking streets?
00:21:09.980 No, she's not.
00:21:10.660 She's not for.
00:21:11.740 She said that we need to respect the Charter of Rights and Freedom for everybody.
00:21:15.140 I actually agree that we need to respect the Charter of Rights and Freedom.
00:21:18.740 But when it comes to blocking streets, harassing intimidation of people, just being in the
00:21:25.260 same park or around those street prayers, when we are seeing like hateful slogans and chants,
00:21:31.660 when we are seeing what is happening, this is not being a peaceful protest.
00:21:36.460 And it seems like, but first of all, on her political platform, she literally say that she is going to fight Islamophobia in Montreal.
00:21:48.660 But she never really mentioned the rise of anti-Semitism that we are seeing in Montreal.
00:21:54.960 Again, this is another proof that I'm not really sure that nothing would change in Montreal.
00:22:02.060 There is another clip that I want to show you.
00:22:05.320 That is back in 2023 when her and Gilbo came in front of the conservative convention in Quebec City.
00:22:14.760 And just look at how she expressed herself about conservatism.
00:22:59.440 How do you react to that?
00:23:02.920 Do you believe that this is centre-right?
00:23:04.900 No.
00:23:05.300 Well, and I want to get to Sheila Gunn-Reed, but I think maybe Quebec is so into the wacky far left
00:23:14.320 that, believe it or not, that is a centre-right viewpoint, especially when you have members
00:23:19.020 of Antifa running for office.
00:23:20.780 But, you know, Sheila, let's comment on that first clip.
00:23:24.320 This is a part of an odious trend that is spreading in Canada, this idea that you have
00:23:30.140 a constitutional right to pray.
00:23:32.360 That's what the city of Toronto says.
00:23:34.280 That's what the police chief says.
00:23:36.260 You do.
00:23:37.120 You do.
00:23:37.820 You do not have a right to block streets, create an unsafe situation.
00:23:43.400 When I got back to the city of Toronto media relations person on that, the only response
00:23:49.280 I received is, we stand by our original statement.
00:23:53.220 So really, is this what she's complaining about when she refers to Islamophobia?
00:24:00.000 You don't want people, you know, blocking a major thoroughfare if there's an ambulance
00:24:04.560 trying to get to hospital.
00:24:06.000 Yeah, this is stuff that could easily be addressed with having the police enforce the existing
00:24:13.880 traffic bylaws.
00:24:16.180 You don't need to infringe on everybody's constitutional rights.
00:24:20.640 Like you, I believe that people have a right to public prayer, but having a cadre of people
00:24:28.700 blocking the streets in prayer in front of the cathedral seems like something that you
00:24:33.660 already have the existing laws to deal with.
00:24:36.000 My concern is that we have now another liberal cabinet minister in charge of Montreal.
00:24:44.420 Remember Denis Coderre?
00:24:46.240 He was mayor there, I think, until 20, I want to say 2017.
00:24:52.080 He was a liberal cabinet minister.
00:24:55.180 And then you had Valerie Plante for eight years.
00:24:57.320 And now we've got this new one.
00:24:59.780 And all three of them are radical environmentalists.
00:25:03.820 Like Denis Coderre was anti-pipeline.
00:25:06.860 Valerie Plante was even worse.
00:25:08.260 And this one is just as bad because when she was the minister of tourism for some reason,
00:25:13.660 she was going around announcing grants for environmental transition for Quebec businesses.
00:25:21.500 You think that she is going to be the voice of yes for a west to east pipeline?
00:25:26.500 Absolutely not.
00:25:27.540 If it has to go through Montreal, she's going to say no.
00:25:31.400 Alexa, you would get some real winners.
00:25:33.960 Sheila just gave a nice shopping list.
00:25:35.800 I'm old enough to remember Jean-Drapeau, the mayor of Montreal.
00:25:39.060 His famous quote of all was that the Olympics could no easier run a deficit than a man could give birth to a baby.
00:25:50.020 And there's a fantastic Duncan McPherson cartoon, the Toronto Star.
00:25:54.400 It's Mayor Dupro in the 100-meter dash with a baby carriage with triples in it.
00:26:00.660 And he is nine months pregnant.
00:26:02.960 So that's how that, but what is it about municipal politics in Montreal where I would call them not ready for prime time players seem to excel, seem to get elected all the time?
00:26:15.640 So they get elected and they are not doing what the mayor should do.
00:26:19.920 That means take care of the garbage, make sure the roads are okay and the streets are safe.
00:26:26.260 Now what we are seeing, streets are dirty, smell bad, criminality is in rise.
00:26:33.640 The streets look like if I'm actually driving in Gaza, as bad it is.
00:26:40.000 There is empty constriction sites everywhere around the city.
00:26:46.780 Actually, they say that there is more than 1,700 constriction sites that has nobody working on it in Montreal.
00:26:57.360 That is outrageous.
00:26:58.800 That costs a lot of taxpayers just to have that standing over there.
00:27:05.680 And we have cycle lanes just growing everywhere.
00:27:10.320 They are removing parking lots everywhere.
00:27:13.160 And they think that people would just turn themselves into collective transport when, in fact, just right now, recently on a Saturday, the metro went on strike.
00:27:25.580 So there were no options for people to just, you know, drive around or just like move to a place, to another place.
00:27:35.700 And this is one of the problems with Montreal.
00:27:38.640 Montreal is actually not in good shape.
00:27:42.600 It's not going to be better anytime soon.
00:27:46.600 And what we are seeing is Quebec City that is actually following the same track.
00:27:52.920 I'm going to talk about that a little bit later.
00:27:55.960 But just as an example, I recently released a story of one of the candidates of Transition Montréal.
00:28:04.240 Transition Montréal has Craig Sauvé as the main leader.
00:28:08.760 You remember Craig Sauvé during the by-election.
00:28:11.320 He was running for the NDP with Jagmeet Singh with the Palestinian flag on his pamphlet.
00:28:16.560 So one of his candidates, an Antifa, first of all, with the tattoo of Bella Chow on his neck, literally on his X, called for killing politicians and transphobes.
00:28:32.560 So literally, say, if a politician update his platform to include the word woke, I should be entitled to kill him and receive a medal for it.
00:28:45.900 Another one was, you know, it's always trans who are being thrown under the bus.
00:28:51.880 So go and kill your transphobe local.
00:28:55.440 So it's all things like that.
00:28:59.180 And so one of the mainstream, actually, I would say take back my story.
00:29:06.480 But some people say that they stole my story because they never said they did.
00:29:10.060 Literally had the leader, Craig Sauvé, for an interview.
00:29:18.460 And Craig Sauvé said that, but you need to understand the context.
00:29:26.120 You know, it's jokes and it's really colorful statement.
00:29:30.140 And, you know, there's nothing really hateful on this.
00:29:33.280 But literally what he did is incitement of a threat and murder.
00:29:38.540 This wasn't a joke.
00:29:40.240 I looked carefully at all the publications on X and he called for killing mainly conservative, like people who are not aligned in the same political sphere as him.
00:29:56.080 And you know what?
00:29:57.620 He got nine point something percent of the vote.
00:30:01.720 Good Lord.
00:30:03.280 That's not, that's not fringe.
00:30:05.560 That's better than the NDP in some writings federally.
00:30:11.080 And it's for sure better than the liberals get in some Alberta writings like that.
00:30:15.900 And especially odious to say those things after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
00:30:23.540 And yet they stood by their candidate.
00:30:26.200 I want to check the clip because I think our producer have the clip of the interview.
00:30:31.720 I think it's worth it that people see what happened.
00:30:34.940 Yeah, they're not apologizing.
00:30:37.720 They're doubling down.
00:30:39.060 They're not turning down the heat.
00:30:40.740 I mean, it was just last month, Sheila, when I was covering a trans counter demonstration in which the transgenders I interviewed said, yes, the use of violence, including lethal force, is an appropriate response if you're offended.
00:30:58.240 But, you know, Sheila, in the big picture, what Alexa said about Montreal, it's true about Toronto.
00:31:03.480 With the exception of four years, I've lived here all my life.
00:31:06.020 Right now, I have never seen the city look to be in such a shambles.
00:31:10.340 I'm talking graffiti, litter, tent cities, homelessness, food bank usage.
00:31:16.000 It's just and the crime.
00:31:19.020 We have a crime wave, which was unheard of.
00:31:21.640 So Toronto is lost.
00:31:22.780 Montreal is clearly lost with this mayor.
00:31:24.880 I think all eyes right now, in terms of municipal politics, is on New York City.
00:31:30.380 Tomorrow is their election.
00:31:32.140 If Mamdani gets in, I think that's the beginning of the end for one of the great cities on the planet.
00:31:40.740 What do you ladies have to say about that?
00:31:43.480 I think it's just a little bit of the example of what's coming to us.
00:31:48.800 If New York City is electing Mamdani, I think New York will just turn into a communist place.
00:32:01.320 And I'm scared that we will see also a civil war.
00:32:06.000 Because what Mamdani say that is not going to work with ICE.
00:32:10.340 New York has the biggest population of illegal immigrants being housed over there.
00:32:18.800 If now we see Donald Trump with ICE fighting the mayor of New York, I don't know how this is going to end well.
00:32:32.300 I don't think it's going to end well.
00:32:34.920 And hello, Montreal is just nearby New York.
00:32:38.060 I don't want to see another flooding of illegals inside of our province because we just can't.
00:32:50.720 So Sheila, what say you?
00:32:52.420 In other words, what are real estate prices like in Alberta right now?
00:32:57.020 I listen to these horrors and it's crazy.
00:33:03.240 Like it's hard to believe that Giuliani was ever the mayor of what is now New York City.
00:33:08.520 Like it's hard to believe that there was a Republican mayor and not like a million years ago, but like a generation ago.
00:33:15.080 But I feel like things are changing here in the West.
00:33:20.600 Edmonton is a write-off, like who cares?
00:33:22.660 But like Calgary, their actual conservative candidate only lost because of a vote split.
00:33:31.960 The overwhelming number of votes that were cast were for two conservative candidates.
00:33:41.400 And Farkas, the new mayor in Calgary, considers himself center-right.
00:33:47.140 And the conservative political municipal party there, I think they control the council there.
00:33:53.960 So we've swung all the way back the other way from Gondek to conservatives making a real difference municipally.
00:34:02.460 And I think it's because we look at places like Toronto, Montreal, New York and say, you know what?
00:34:07.820 No, thank you.
00:34:08.700 No, thank you very much.
00:34:09.780 Well, you know, in the big picture, we have to ask ourselves.
00:34:13.380 I mean, I really believe maybe this is an exaggeration, but I think we are one more federal election away from saying this country is done, put a fork in it.
00:34:25.760 Meaning that if the liberals under Carney get reelected and who knows what's going to happen tomorrow, what budget day in the aftermath, if that triggers an election.
00:34:35.420 I would argue whoever the conservative prime minister is who takes over, you've got generations of fixing to be done.
00:34:45.320 I don't even know where you begin.
00:34:46.840 But, you know, Sheila, Alexa, do we come to the realization with the way the electorate is voting in all levels, municipal, provincially, federally, that this country, for whatever reason,
00:35:02.300 has just swung so left, maybe it's indoctrination, maybe it's the education system, maybe it's the government funded media, that the idea of a strong conservative leader, it's becoming more and more an afterthought.
00:35:16.660 But as I always say, Quebec, it's actually, everybody say, you know, it's based on capitalism.
00:35:24.520 No, Quebec is mainly socialism.
00:35:26.480 Why?
00:35:27.380 Because same if we have a sort of capitalism, the government is intervening on companies, big companies.
00:35:36.760 They have like the main decision ruling over them.
00:35:44.140 And this is since, as we know, like after the, how you call it, I just have it in French, like the dark revolution, quiet revolution, when the church backtracked and the church was removed mainly from the government.
00:36:05.820 And afterwards, people had the stigma of being really with conservative, really radical conservative like values.
00:36:16.500 And people now really push out all religion from their life.
00:36:22.100 It's why Quebec is really strongly secular.
00:36:25.000 And now they say we will remove church, but they are letting other religion coming in our life.
00:36:35.940 And now you are seeing a strong opposition because they say, why would we put like the church back to let other religion coming and deciding for our life?
00:36:48.640 But it's really sad because Quebec City, it's sad because the rest of Canada is not following Quebec City.
00:36:58.340 That is the capital, not Montreal.
00:37:01.020 And Quebec is really in bad shape too.
00:37:03.720 We have like a mayor that is called Bruno Marchand.
00:37:06.120 And what he wants to do is to destroy Quebec City by constricting a tramway, a tramway that will cost billions of dollars that nobody wants.
00:37:21.460 Literally, the polls and the survey are showing that Quebecers don't want it, but he is doing it anyway.
00:37:31.180 And now we will have billions of dollars as burden to pay with more taxes.
00:37:39.620 And they recently just increased taxes.
00:37:42.860 And even the mayor of Quebec wanted to put the tax on the gas and the CAC.
00:37:50.900 François Legault had to say, no, you're not going to add like another tax on gas.
00:37:56.080 Like you can't do that.
00:37:57.640 That's almost a Christmas miracle.
00:37:59.000 François Legault being a fiscal conservative.
00:38:01.940 But it's what they do.
00:38:03.860 It's just they are increasing, increasing the taxes.
00:38:08.000 They know that the problem with traffic is mainly because, first of all, you block all the road with cycle lane.
00:38:15.520 You know that we have two bridges.
00:38:18.060 By the way, we have two bridges, one to each other.
00:38:21.900 One is not really stable anymore.
00:38:24.540 The other one is almost like at the end of his life.
00:38:29.020 And they say, we need another one.
00:38:31.060 We need a third link.
00:38:32.120 You always heard that, third link, third link.
00:38:34.600 The federal is talking about the third link.
00:38:36.440 It's because Quebec, if we don't have another link in between the south and the north, people will need to drive one hour and a half.
00:38:48.920 Take a bridge and come back one hour and a half because we will not have any road to cross the St. Laurent River.
00:38:58.300 And the mayor of Quebec, instead of saying, we need a third link, this is what is the most important one.
00:39:06.220 No, he wants the tramway.
00:39:08.060 And he's traveling in different countries to look into what they are doing as tram and everything.
00:39:15.320 And he's spending like taxpayer money.
00:39:17.160 He's always like in media shows and he's charging taxpayers for like all his traveling.
00:39:25.440 And I think if we look at his spending, I think Labon, that was there like four years ago, his whole spending was like $1,000.
00:39:38.260 Him, it's more than $100,000.
00:39:42.760 Wow.
00:39:43.240 So it's increasingly like way more.
00:39:47.180 And you know what?
00:39:48.660 He has been elected, but strongly.
00:39:52.700 So, Sheila, what do you make of what's going on across Canada?
00:39:56.940 As Alexa said, it's a billion dollar tramway that is unneeded, not wanted, and is too costly.
00:40:03.220 We see this everywhere.
00:40:04.340 Little tiny township.
00:40:05.440 We did a story last month.
00:40:06.680 13,000 permanent residents.
00:40:08.800 The mayor is going ahead with a $50 million administration center.
00:40:12.940 Little Chatham, Ontario.
00:40:14.420 Same deal.
00:40:15.440 And you talk to the vast majority of people.
00:40:18.780 They don't want it.
00:40:19.720 Is this all about, is it a vanity trip with these politicians?
00:40:23.280 They want that big ribbon cutting ceremony with the giant scissors.
00:40:28.340 And whether or not it's a white elephant, they don't care.
00:40:32.180 I think conservatives don't pay close enough attention to municipal politics.
00:40:37.120 I've been saying this for years.
00:40:39.040 Because those are the politics that affect you most and affect you first.
00:40:42.540 Municipal politics is not just about your garbage pickup.
00:40:45.140 It is about that, but it's not just about that.
00:40:47.380 And it's not just about the stupid pothole that, at the end of your driveway, that knocks
00:40:52.360 your earrings out of your ear every time you hit it.
00:40:54.640 Um, it, the municipal governments go way beyond their scope all the time.
00:41:02.460 For example, Calgary, Calgary under Gondek declared a climate emergency, which, yeah, which
00:41:11.420 then paved the way for a $90 billion climate plan in Calgary.
00:41:18.940 Okay.
00:41:19.360 And then if we wonder why our kids are being taught all sorts of crazy things, but they
00:41:23.700 can't do math, uh, look at the school boards.
00:41:26.660 That's a municipal political issue.
00:41:29.460 It affects us most.
00:41:31.320 It's pernicious.
00:41:33.000 It is goes out of its way to be unaccountable to you in ways that the federal government could
00:41:38.540 not even get away with taking you out, cutting off the live stream.
00:41:43.140 But the good news is if you get organized, you can make a real change at the municipal
00:41:49.360 level.
00:41:50.460 We just saw it happen in Calgary.
00:41:52.300 You can flip a school board lickety split if you really get organized.
00:41:56.240 But the problem is conservatives.
00:41:57.920 And I'm, I'm the problem too.
00:42:00.160 We look at the provincial stuff.
00:42:01.800 We look at the federal stuff because we look at Mark Carney and he's gallivanting all over
00:42:05.440 the world and he's causing inflation and he's spending like crazy.
00:42:08.020 And he's, he, uh, is fighting with the Americans and costing us jobs.
00:42:13.020 We, we look at that and we think, okay, the house is burning down, but you know what?
00:42:16.960 The hydrant is closer to home.
00:42:19.400 And so I think conservatives really have to consider their absence, um, during municipal
00:42:25.800 elections because they can really make a difference.
00:42:28.060 And I can, can I just add on this?
00:42:30.800 Um, what I actually saw it's the left at the municipal level, they are really well organized
00:42:38.200 and they are really motivated and they are going out and they are going to vote and, and
00:42:44.580 they know that they have where they can have the most power.
00:42:48.920 It's at the municipal level to actually do what they want to do.
00:42:53.860 But the conservative and center right, they are divisive, like they are, um, divided, they
00:43:03.700 are divided in multiple, uh, party.
00:43:06.300 They don't agree with like stupid, like little things, uh, when they can actually coordinate
00:43:13.720 their thoughts and idea and maybe find like a common ground.
00:43:18.920 No, instead of that, they say, no, I would not agree with that.
00:43:22.680 So all the vote is being divided in multiple party.
00:43:26.640 And what we are seeing is like the left know that for countering the, the center right or
00:43:32.700 the right wing conservative, they have to all vote for the main party that will make them
00:43:39.160 win.
00:43:40.160 Well, I feel pretty good about doing our work on francais because there are people in Quebec
00:43:53.120 who believe in freedom.
00:43:54.920 And I know that in large part because of the work that Alexa has done.
00:43:58.720 Hey, here's some letters from you to me.
00:44:02.660 First letters from hi M9Q, who says in regards to the possibility of a general strike in Alberta,
00:44:08.660 he says, hi there, it will not go well for the unions.
00:44:11.480 Albertans are fed up with public service unions.
00:44:14.100 We will put up with pain to break these unions.
00:44:17.160 I think some Albertans will, it's the least unionized country, a province in the country,
00:44:21.220 if I'm not mistaken.
00:44:22.700 And of course, government sector unions, especially ones getting double digit raises, don't have
00:44:27.420 a lot of sympathy.
00:44:28.620 And the idea that some private sector worker, a plumber, an electrician, an oil sands guy,
00:44:33.500 a truck driver, is going to say, yeah, I'm not going to work today because some teacher
00:44:38.960 who just got a double digit raise doesn't like the notwithstanding clause being, I just
00:44:45.200 don't see it.
00:44:46.020 I just don't see it.
00:44:46.580 I think Lauren Gunter's right that even if they're hot now, by the time some, like it's
00:44:52.560 just, it's going to fade away.
00:44:53.640 It's not going to happen.
00:44:54.900 I don't think it will at least.
00:44:55.740 Boron 555 says they are hired guns to, talking about the woke right, they are hired guns to
00:45:03.200 destroy the conservative movement, which is the final stand against the Islamist takeover.
00:45:07.540 They are paid to do so.
00:45:08.660 You know, I think the most important thing I have to get through my head is that just
00:45:14.200 because someone says they're right wing or Republican doesn't mean they are.
00:45:18.100 If they say they support Vladimir, sorry, Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela, if they say that Hitler
00:45:27.900 was the good guy in World War II and Churchill was the bad guy, if they say that Stalin was
00:45:34.620 a good guy, and these are all things that Nick Fuentes and actually incredibly Tucker Carlson
00:45:39.600 is saying, at a certain point in time, you don't have to pretend that they're on your side
00:45:43.520 anymore because they're telling you they're not.
00:45:45.880 And I think there's a word for that that's entriests or just underminers or double agents.
00:45:53.040 Sorry, if you do as, I mean, I used to really look up to Tucker, but the other night he said,
00:45:57.780 we've got to support Nicolas Maduro, the tyrant dictator of Venezuela, because he doesn't
00:46:04.960 allow sex change surgeries.
00:46:06.700 That was his, I kid you not.
00:46:07.960 Here, take a look.
00:46:09.100 So the question is, why?
00:46:10.420 Why are we doing this?
00:46:12.880 Why are we so opposed to Nicolas Maduro?
00:46:14.960 So if you ask someone on the street, random person, why are we against Nicolas Maduro?
00:46:20.480 The answer you're going to get is, who's Nicolas Maduro?
00:46:22.460 But if you find someone in South Florida, for example, who knows who Nicolas Maduro is,
00:46:26.780 who can identify where Venezuela is on a map, that person will almost certainly say, well,
00:46:31.440 because he's a communist or a socialist, he's exceedingly left wing.
00:46:35.140 And that is true.
00:46:36.620 Nicolas Maduro and his government are very left wing on economics, not on social policy,
00:46:42.000 by the way, which is kind of interesting, in Venezuela, gay marriage is banned, abortion
00:46:47.320 is banned, sex changes for transgenderism are banned.
00:46:52.000 It's one of the very few countries in the entire hemisphere with those policies.
00:46:55.900 It is on social policy, not defending the regime, just saying, one of the most conservative
00:47:01.660 countries in North or South or Central America, only El Salvador really comes close, which
00:47:09.780 is much smaller, of course.
00:47:11.260 And by the way, the U.S.-backed opposition leader who would take Maduro's place if he
00:47:17.080 were taken out is, of course, pretty eager to get gay marriage in Venezuela.
00:47:21.820 So to those of you who thought this whole project was Globo Homo, not crazy, actually.
00:47:27.020 Yeah.
00:47:28.260 Okay.
00:47:28.900 I don't, I don't think, I didn't see that coming, but I don't think we have to call someone
00:47:33.280 who supports Maduro.
00:47:34.340 I don't think we have to call him right wing anymore.
00:47:36.160 I don't think we have to support someone who says Churchill was the bad guy.
00:47:38.960 We don't have to say that's right wing anymore.
00:47:41.380 Salt Chuck West says, nope, Canadians have bigger problems than American podcasters.
00:47:45.180 Well, that's another thing.
00:47:46.180 I'm, I'm extremely online.
00:47:47.820 So I follow this stuff closely, but to be honest, we don't have the same movement in
00:47:53.400 Canada to Nazi-fy our politics.
00:47:57.380 We have it in, in the form of new immigrants to Canada who have brought with them their
00:48:02.240 anti-Semitism from the Middle East.
00:48:04.160 Absolutely.
00:48:04.840 I've seen more Nazi-ism on our streets in the last two years than my whole life combined,
00:48:09.500 but it's not from the Nick Fuentes's of the world.
00:48:12.420 It's from people who came here from Algeria or Afghanistan or Pakistan or Bangladesh.
00:48:17.980 It's crazy though.
00:48:19.120 I'm not going to spend too much more time on it.
00:48:20.940 I just felt like I had a few things to say and I'm glad you let me say it.
00:48:25.260 By the way, I'm off tonight to the UK.
00:48:27.820 Tommy Robinson will have his judgment issued under the Terrorism Act.
00:48:32.640 You'll recall he refused to give police the PIN password to his cell phone without a warrant.
00:48:37.620 So they charged him under the Terrorism Act for not giving him, them his phone.
00:48:42.320 There was a trial a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow is the result.
00:48:45.040 I'll have that for you live.
00:48:46.260 If you're on the Eastern Standard Time, I'll have that news for you at 5 a.m.
00:48:51.720 I'll be getting up really early.
00:48:53.000 I'm flying through the night, but I'll have more for you tomorrow.
00:48:56.840 I hope my friend is acquitted.
00:48:58.720 I'd say he's got a 50-50 chance.
00:49:01.160 That's our show for today.
00:49:02.780 Until next time, on behalf of all of us here at Rebel World Headquarters,
00:49:05.740 to you at home, good night and keep fighting for freedom.
00:49:08.400 You're so happy.
00:49:12.220 You're welcome.
00:49:13.860 I'm coming back.
00:49:15.140 You're welcome.
00:49:15.920 You're welcome.
00:49:16.140 You're welcome.
00:49:16.920 You're welcome.
00:49:17.280 I'm coming back.
