00:01:58.380 in the full sight of a huge police force just tying ropes to a statue of Queen Victoria,

00:02:04.660 right on the steps of the Manitoba legislature, just pulling it down. That's a crime, of course,

00:02:13.080 and police did nothing but watch. Actually, that's not quite true. Here's a CBC story.

00:02:20.020 One arrested after Queen Victoria's statue toppled at Manitoba legislature. Yeah, that's quite a

00:02:26.420 headline because it wasn't a statue vandal who was arrested. It looks like it was the lone

00:02:32.760 counter-protester who was against toppling the statue. He wasn't just arrested. They tasered him,

00:02:40.940 too. So the police weren't there to uphold the law. They certainly weren't there to stop the statues

00:02:46.220 from being torn down or to arrest anyone for those crimes on Canada Day, no less. They were there as

00:02:52.980 security, really, for the vandals. This is the same Manitoba police who arrested and jailed Maxime

00:03:00.280 Bernier, the leader of the PPC party, for meeting peacefully with other skeptics of Manitoba's

00:03:05.920 lockdown. So they had police arrest and jail a political leader. And as you'll remember from my

00:03:12.380 interview with Bernier, police actually told him to get out of the province and that they would

00:03:17.200 follow him around until he did. The premier personally threatened Bernier with extreme

00:03:23.080 enforcement. But right outside of the premier's own office, a crowd destroys statues of Queen

00:03:29.200 Victoria and they toppled Queen Elizabeth's statue, too. And just nothing. Sorry, not nothing. They

00:03:37.480 tasered the one guy who was upset about it all. So that was friendly Manitoba, as their license plates

00:03:43.400 say. But across the country, there were more churches being vandalized and burnt, too. Some

00:03:49.560 of the arson was right in a city, brazen, torching a church in the middle of the day, unafraid of being

00:03:55.160 caught. And why not? Maybe police would taser anyone stopping the arsonists. And yesterday alone,

00:04:01.480 10 churches vandalized in Calgary. 10 in one day. Don't tell me this isn't an orchestrated,

00:04:07.500 financed national operation. Here's what Calgary's police had to say, though.

00:04:19.920 schools are a part of our legacy that destroy the lives of so many indigenous families. But 1.00

00:04:31.020 sympathy or solidarity with the vandalized churches or their congregants. Just a terse statement that they

00:04:37.580 were vandalized. And then immediately pushing the narrative that the churches are to blame,

00:04:43.700 the churches are evil. And come on, vandals, will you knock it off? Don't be so divisive, really.

00:04:50.160 I mean, they hate to enforce the law here. They're so reluctant to enforce the law. Maybe they'll taser a

00:04:55.800 priest who tries to put out a fire. But just for appearances sake, they have to say something about

00:11:52.960 and none of them seem to know the cause, or at least they won't say. The CBC calls it a wildfire,

00:11:58.320 which suggests that it was from nature, perhaps from lightning, but they have no source for that,

00:12:03.140 no proof of that. They just say it. What are the odds that in this wave of arson against churches in B.C.,

00:12:10.300 that they actually burnt down a town and killed people? Well, that would be a whole other level

00:12:16.160 of real terrorism, wouldn't it be? Why haven't we heard a word from the public safety minister on

00:12:21.760 this? He's got a lot to say about right-wing groups like the Proud Boys. The justice minister

00:12:27.180 just introduced Bill C-36 to tackle mean tweets and Facebook posts that are hateful. So they're

00:12:34.880 really tackling the emotion crimes, the thought crimes. How about arson against churches?

00:12:49.460 injustice of suppression against the indigenous people with 10 times the effort it makes now.

00:17:41.120 transphobia, uh, uh, taking place. And it is a horrible story in that, um, until about five years

00:17:49.520 ago, um, if you wanted to get into a female institution as a male, you had to go through

00:17:56.320 the surgery, the hormones, the whole enchilada. Then somebody raised this question to Justin Trudeau

00:21:07.040 her pronouns. That was the beginning of when I realized that we were supposed to lie and go along

00:21:14.160 with things and just remain silent. That same person was sexually harassing multiple women on

00:21:21.200 compound. I experienced it. Several of my friends experienced it. And we all just stayed quiet about

00:21:27.920 it because we thought that because we were criminalized and in prison, that it was our fault

00:21:34.640 for being here in the first place. And we deserved what happened to us.

00:21:38.160 So are these prisoners, ex-prisoners, friends and family of women who are on the inside? 1.00

00:21:43.600 Yes. Some of them were ex-cons, uh, Ezra. Uh, but even so they don't deserve to do their time

00:21:51.360 in an environment of danger. We've been told always it's public safety is paramount. For goodness sakes,

00:21:57.440 that's what they say about all these lockdown restrictions. It's for the public good. How is it

00:22:02.880 that you're putting dangerous male offenders? And I'm not making this up, Ezra, murderers,

00:22:08.400 rapists, pedophiles into an environment with women who are serving their time. Many of these women, 0.99

00:22:14.480 by the way, are, came from an environment in which they were physically, mentally, sexually abused.

00:22:20.320 They may be criminals, but they were in many cases, victims as well of a rape of an assault.

00:22:26.960 And you put a man in there and I can, you know what? I mean, I think it's disgraceful. I think it's

00:22:32.320 dangerous. I think it's shocking. But put yourself just for one second in the mind of a murderer,

00:22:51.120 you know, uh, I'm not going to say honor in prisons, but I, we've, we've heard lots of stories of

00:23:02.240 find that's beneath their own moral code. But if, if you want a gentler surroundings,

00:23:08.160 if you don't want to be again around other mean men, if you, for whatever, if you just want to be

00:23:14.000 with the girls, if you want to have sexual opportunities of rape, if you're a rapist, 1.00

00:23:19.280 why wouldn't you? And that's the thing. Why would you let a rapist

00:23:23.040 into a women's prison? Is that not so ridiculous? But of course, if you're a rapist, wouldn't you
