00:00:30.000 Well, hi, everybody. Ezra Levant here in our world headquarters. And I'm sort of jumping into the
00:00:46.260 live stream, which is normally David Menzies' turf. David, thanks for letting me join.
00:00:49.760 Oh, well, thank you, Ezra. Due to technical difficulties, Sheila Gunn-Reed could not join
00:00:54.780 us from Alberta, which is a shame because today is National Airplane Day, paper airplane day,
00:01:01.060 I should say. And I had a really funny joke about that, which I will just skip in the process of
00:01:07.960 efficiency because you're giving me that look. No, I can only imagine. I mean, earlier today,
00:01:13.900 I rolled out one of my dad jokes and people didn't laugh. So I said the joke a second time
00:01:18.900 and people didn't laugh. So I said it a third time. And then people, you know, thought, okay,
00:01:23.480 let's give him a courtesy laugh. And there's an enormous, long, awkward pause. So I know what
00:01:29.260 it's like, David. Thank you. Thank you for feeling my pain.
00:01:34.120 Hey, everybody. It's great to be back here. Over the weekend, I mean, Toronto just got about 200,000
00:01:41.400 Jews in Toronto. And every year, and this is going back more than 50 years, there's something
00:01:46.820 called Walk with Israel. And it's just what it sounds like. It's a walk. The Jews just walk down.
00:01:52.460 There's this big street in Toronto called Bathurst Street. And along that street for miles, within a
00:02:00.560 few blocks of each side, I think is half the Jewish population in the city. And it really is a Jewish
00:02:06.080 street. There's lots of kosher restaurants and synagogues along there. And it's also, by the way,
00:02:11.680 being a street along which there have been dozens, if not hundreds of anti-Semitic incidents over the
00:02:19.060 last year. And when I mean incident, I'm just thinking of one of them. And Olivia Ephron, maybe
00:02:23.080 you can grab this footage. Literally at the start of where the walk is, Temple Sinai, it was hit again
00:02:32.240 and again with vandalism and a little bit of arson. I don't know if you guys remember when I went to
00:02:37.180 Temple Sinai. That was literally the start of the walk. And then you went two blocks over and there's
00:02:43.820 a no-frills grocery store, but there was sort of school bus parking behind it. That was another,
00:02:50.000 a Jewish school bus, the school bus itself is not Jewish, but it's for a Jewish school,
00:02:55.160 torched, arson. Like literally every block or two along this route has been the site of a crime.
00:03:03.660 I'm not talking about someone using mean words. I'm talking about arson, mischief, vandalism,
00:03:10.420 trespass, assault, and not too far away. Yeah, that's it right there. If you can put that on the
00:03:17.720 main, there, that, there's me and there's the no-frills and there is the school bus absolutely
00:03:26.300 torched. And I remember, I heard about that. There, people say school bus catches fire. I love
00:03:37.280 that. I don't know if you saw that. School bus catches fire, CTV. That's what they said. Hey guys,
00:03:44.980 it just caught fire. You know, spontaneous combustion. Hey guys, did anyone tell you this,
00:03:50.340 you know, firefighters were called on the scene on Wilson Avenue. And anyway, I went down there. So
00:03:54.820 that's, that's Bathurst Street. For, for, for two or three generations, Bathurst Street has been home
00:04:01.840 to a great number of Jews in Toronto. And for the last few years, it's been the home of an enormous
00:04:08.200 number of anti-submitted crimes. And, and it's, it's more than bad words to torch the school bus. So the
00:04:13.420 Jews walked that street and a decade or two ago, every Jew, uh, you know, let's say 50,000 Jews
00:04:22.820 yesterday. I understand there were 56,000 Jews. I don't know how they counted. Um, every politician
00:04:30.200 on every party would go there to see and be seen. It would, it would be, you know, once a year,
00:04:37.480 it's a couple hours. You go, you take your photos there. It's your way of saying to the Jewish
00:04:41.420 community, I want your vote. I want your money. Yeah. But the mayor was not there. The premier
00:04:46.400 was not there. The prime minister was not there. I didn't see any, uh, liberal cabinet ministers
00:04:50.600 there because that old math has changed. There's, there's still 200,000 Jews in Toronto, which is
00:04:57.300 what there were 10 years ago and 20 years ago. But there's now, I don't know, 2 million, um,
00:05:03.800 Muslims in Canada. And, and thankfully not all of them are anti-Semitic and many of them just want
00:05:08.000 to live their lives. But if you bring over hundreds of thousands of people from Syria,
00:05:15.200 Afghanistan, Somalia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, these are countries that have, that are endemically
00:05:22.500 anti-Semitic, like 95% according to few, few surveys. And many of those places are, are terrorism
00:05:30.600 hotbeds too. Canada has recently started taking in refugees from Gaza, perhaps the worst decision
00:05:37.520 in the history of immigration. There's a reason why Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates
00:05:42.700 right there in the region do not take any Palestinians. There's a reason for that, David.
00:05:48.160 So my point is yesterday was a huge, you can see on the screen right now, an absolutely huge turnout,
00:05:55.020 56,000 Jews and righteous Gentiles, allies of the Jews. But this, you see this area here,
00:06:02.000 this is sort of a choke point where on either side of the street, about a hundred Hamas activists set up
00:06:10.320 with loudspeakers and the police protected them, supported them, were their concierge,
00:06:16.740 while they screamed anti-Semitic abuse at the people. And the police actually narrowed the road
00:06:25.680 there. Bathurst Street is four lanes, they made it two lanes. So the Jews had to go through this
00:06:31.820 choke point, this gauntlet, where on either side, screaming foreigners shouted anti-Semitic craziness.
00:06:41.300 The police had set aside a counter-protest zone for them. But they just, they laugh at the police.
00:06:49.420 The police do their bidding, not the other way around. And the Jews had a permit. Some of these
00:06:56.140 palaces, most of them had their faces covered, terrorist style. Some of them were dressed in
00:07:01.200 military style, camouflage. Some of them seemed to have things strapped to their body. I understand
00:07:07.840 someone had a fake grenade, although I didn't see that myself. And the cops just rolled with it. So
00:07:14.420 the cops were there to assist the Hamas protesters by narrowing the path so the Jews had to go through
00:07:25.120 on two lanes so they could be properly shouted at. And the cowardly mayor, premier, prime minister,
00:07:32.240 liberal cabinet ministers were all nowhere to be seen. Because I'm not saying they hate the Jews,
00:07:39.740 but they love the votes and the political power of the millions of new migrants that Trudeau and
00:07:47.940 now Mark Carney has brought to Canada, many of whom hate Jews. And so these guys can count.
00:07:54.340 And by the way, the feeling is mutual. One of the only ridings in the greater Toronto area to flip
00:08:02.400 from liberal to conservative was the Jewish neighborhood of York Centre in which this march
00:08:07.840 happened. And Yara Sachs, a cabinet minister, was turfed in favor of Roman Baber, a conservative.
00:08:14.340 And so you can sort of understand it. I mean, but really, what do the liberals care? There's tons of votes
00:08:21.860 in Scarborough, in Mississauga. So you lose a couple of seats in the Jewish ridings, but you make it up
00:08:29.740 tenfold in the anti-Semitic ridings. Well, Ezra, to me, I think you're absolutely right. It's, as they
00:08:36.100 say, just business, baby. They've done the math. They know there are five times as many Muslims as there
00:08:42.640 are Jewish voters. And I echo what you say, that not every Muslim subscribes to a terrorist agenda.
00:08:52.520 But I think there is a conceit with our politicians about that. I think Olivia Chell,
00:08:58.340 I think the pro-Hamas set is part of her base, as a matter of fact. Doug Ford, this is absolutely
00:09:03.980 disgraceful. More than seven years ago, I remember him saying about the annual Jew hate fest known as
00:09:10.140 the Al-Quds Day march. Not on his watch. Remember that? You're not going to get anywhere near
00:09:15.440 Queen's Park. Well, guess what? Those demonstrators, they come right into Queen's Park. And the numbers
00:09:22.640 are staggering. The Jewish population in Toronto, the Great Toronto Area, less than 4%. But last year,
00:09:30.020 more than 40% of the hate crimes were directed towards Jews. And to your point of bringing in people
00:09:38.020 that don't really share Western values into our dominion, I think this is a scathing indictment, Ezra,
00:09:47.320 that official state multiculturalism, which came into being in 1971 under Justin Trudeau's father, Pierre,
00:09:55.500 it's a disaster. Basically, the unspoken deal was come to Canada from wherever you are.
00:10:03.840 Take advantage of our social programs. Pursue the Canadian dream. What we ask is simply this.
00:10:12.660 Behave. Don't break the law. Don't import age-old hatred into our country. And Ezra, I'm telling you,
00:10:19.860 when I cover these pro-Hamas demonstrations with the Palestinian flags, with the chants for genocide,
00:10:25.800 the display of swastikas, the smoke bombs going off, I don't even think I'm in Toronto, the city of my
00:10:32.540 birth anymore. Yeah. Well, it's hard to believe when you've grown up in Toronto the good, or you've
00:10:38.860 lived here for a long time, but great cities can fall. Oh, yeah. And I'm not just talking about Rome.
00:10:44.420 Um, I'm talking about Paris. I'm talking about London. I'm talking about Malmo, Sweden. I'm talking
00:10:51.880 about Vienna. Um, these are amazing cities that, I mean, Vienna is the, one of the most astonishingly
00:10:59.820 beautiful cities. It was the seat of the Austro-Hungarian empire. Yeah, that was then,
00:11:06.380 buddy. I mean, demographics is destiny. That is an Islamic town. Yeah. And I was in Malmo,
00:11:13.760 Sweden. I spent a day there. Can you dig up that video? I'm not sure who there is there,
00:11:18.420 Olivia or Efron. Can you dig up a video I did 10 years ago now? So I had more hair and it was darker.
00:11:25.500 I went to a city called Malmo, which is just across the water from Copenhagen. And I went to a
00:11:31.440 neighborhood called Rosengard, which was sort of designed as a low-income place for students a
00:11:36.540 generation ago. I saw, other than some security guards, I saw one Swede in my entire day there.
00:11:46.840 And I, I sort of saw her and I ran up to her. I said, who are you? What are you doing here?
00:11:52.560 How, and can you guys find that Malmo, uh, video? I don't know if you want to search Malmo or search,
00:11:58.700 um, Sweden, but it was just such an incredible, uh, it was a long form. It was a whole show probably
00:12:08.160 back in 2015. Um, anyway, if you guys can find it, I want to show that just to say you might think,
00:12:15.960 well, Toronto is amazing. Toronto is huge. Toronto has so much inertia. You can't train,
00:12:20.540 change Toronto. You can't wreck Toronto. Uh, yeah, you can.
00:12:24.760 Oh, Ezra, I remember in 1987, Peter Ustinov, he said, Toronto is New York as run by the Swiss.
00:12:33.260 Those days are long gone. Let me tell you. And it's, John, just that the hatred we see in the
00:12:39.480 streets, it's the graffiti, the litter, the city just seems dirty. The congestion is actually making
00:12:46.940 people move out of Toronto to go like eight kilometers might take over an hour at certain
00:12:53.080 times. Looks like they found me talking to the last Swede in Malmo. Look at how young I look. Oh,
00:12:59.080 who's that cutie pie with all that hair? Yeah. Go ahead and play the clip. This is me encountering
00:13:04.840 the last Swedish woman in Malmo. I swear she was the only Swede I saw. And Malmo was a mighty town.
00:13:12.140 Take a look.
00:13:13.080 You're from originally?
00:13:14.800 Mid, uh, mid Sweden.
00:13:16.660 One of the things we're talking about is, uh, migration to Europe. And, uh, Malmo seems
00:13:22.900 to have a lot of migrants, especially Muslim migrants. What do you think of that?
00:13:27.080 Uh, I think maybe they should, uh, deal with it better, but still we need them.
00:13:34.560 For what? What does Sweden need them for?
00:13:36.560 Because, uh, Swedish people just don't make any babies.
00:13:40.200 And they will take care of us when we're old, if not immigrants.
00:13:43.240 And, uh, how will they take care of you? Uh, you know, work at, you know, hospitals,
00:13:51.200 uh, or, uh, you know, old people, homes, you know, stuff like that. You know, Swedish
00:13:56.920 people don't want to clean, uh, after other people. So, so if they don't do it, somebody
00:14:02.780 have to do it.
00:14:04.320 How about, uh, the combination of Muslim culture and Swedish culture? They seem pretty different
00:14:09.380 on things like women's rights and gay rights and, and things like that.
00:14:14.240 Hopefully we can turn them around.
00:14:17.620 And how's that going so far?
00:14:20.120 Uh, I have some colleagues and it, it's doing fine. No problem at all.
00:14:26.860 Um, I, uh, I was talking to some Somali men who tell me that they have a lot of kids,
00:14:33.940 but they're on social assistance. So they're not working. What it, it almost, I mean, I don't
00:14:40.900 know. And I'm asking you, it seems like some of the migrants are taking social services. They're
00:14:45.880 not going to provide social services to Swedes. Do you think, do you think that economics is really
00:14:50.520 going to work out? Like it, it's costing a lot of money to take care of the migrants, isn't
00:14:53.780 it?
00:14:53.940 It does, but it's not easy for them to, to find a, uh, a job either.
00:14:58.440 Now, why do you think they're coming to Sweden? That's very far away. Do you think it's because
00:15:02.040 Sweden is so generous with welfare?
00:15:05.360 Are you trying to get me to answer your way or?
00:15:08.580 You say whatever you want. Tell me if I'm wrong. Am I wrong?
00:15:12.000 Uh, I mean, of course you read in the magazines all about, you know, uh, the taking our money
00:15:18.360 and works and all that, but it's not easy to, uh, to, to get to work here. And I think that most of
00:15:24.800 them, if they want to have, they want to have a job, but I mean, if you don't know the language
00:15:30.240 and all that, it's not that easy.
00:15:32.380 Well, yeah. And especially if you're counting on them to, to take care of you when you're older,
00:15:36.100 right?
00:15:36.480 But they will, they will. Because I don't think we will be enough Swedish people to do it.
00:15:42.280 Can you tell me the best way it's changing Sweden and the worst way it's changing Sweden?
00:15:48.360 Uh, the best, best way is, uh, I think it's always good to have, uh, a mixed culture. Uh, you know,
00:15:55.300 how otherwise would we have pizza and pasta in the first place in Sweden? Uh, the worst way is
00:16:01.740 probably that the politicians doesn't do it well. They should have been, you know, provided them
00:16:06.860 better.
00:16:07.740 Now, when I'm from Canada and we think of Sweden, we think of a beautiful, progressive country
00:16:14.700 and we think of women's rights, but I understand that the, the number of rapes in Sweden is
00:16:20.680 extremely high. Is that true?
00:16:22.880 Not what I heard. It's not more than before. You know, you're in the summer, you can have drunk, uh,
00:16:28.940 Swedish men as well to do stupid things.
00:16:31.240 And how about crime in general? Is that a problem?
00:16:36.400 I don't know. Maybe I'm lucky, but I'm fine.
00:16:39.680 I want to ask you a question. Uh, are you afraid of being called racist if you criticize
00:16:45.660 migrants? Are you afraid of that?
00:16:48.020 Uh, no, because I probably not that aggressive when I, um, criticize, uh, but, uh, of course
00:16:56.100 it can happen, but I always tell what I want to say. And, uh, so, so far, no problems.
00:17:02.880 Um, have you followed the news out of Germany on New Year's Eve in Cologne?
00:17:07.580 A little bit.
00:17:08.540 What do you think of that?
00:17:09.820 It's not nice, but still, I think it's still the politicians, uh, they don't do it well.
00:17:16.720 I mean, uh, the police does what they're told. And, uh, so I think still politicians, uh, I mean,
00:17:26.480 if they inform people better, I don't think we would have that problems.
00:17:30.540 So, so you think that, um, that rape and sexual assault, it's just we, Swedish, Sweden and Germany
00:17:37.840 has to do a better job?
00:17:40.000 Uh, yeah, because I mean, if you give them good values in school and, uh, whatever, I think it would have
00:17:46.420 be better. And, uh, and still it's easy to blow up, uh, because of, because it happens with immigrants,
00:17:54.700 but it happens in, you know, in other cultures as well.
00:17:59.560 How do you feel when you see a woman wearing a niqab? Like just the, just a little slit for the eyes.
00:18:04.740 I mean, you're a modern Swedish woman. How do you feel when you see another woman wearing that?
00:18:10.420 As long as it's by free choice, I have no problem with it.
00:18:14.540 And how would you know if it's by free choice?
00:18:16.320 I have no clue.
00:18:17.740 Does it bother you? Would you, do you have any children yourself?
00:18:20.760 Would you want your daughter to dress like them?
00:18:22.540 I don't have any children, but, uh, lots of friends have children.
00:18:25.880 And let's say if I would have a friend, uh, with a daughter and she wants to convert
00:18:32.700 and she truly believes it, I will be fine with it. But if somebody forced her, I wouldn't be fine.
00:18:39.600 Do you feel like we're losing ground on gay rights and women's rights?
00:18:44.320 Uh, hopefully not. I have a lot of gay friends and, uh, uh, they have the same problems that they had before.
00:18:53.480 Uh, I think it's better now.
00:18:56.160 I, I think, I think the world is better now in the West, but, but I, I've talked to a number of Somali men here who, and, and Macedonian Muslim men, they don't like gays at all.
00:19:08.440 No. Uh, but they don't do an extreme about it. I mean, look at Russia.
00:19:12.860 I think it's worse than that because there is the regime is against it. Uh, here it's people. Uh, so I think it's a big difference.
00:19:20.100 I, um, is there a limit to the number of Muslim migrants Sweden can take?
00:19:29.500 Um, no.
00:19:31.280 So, a million a year?
00:19:36.000 I don't think.
00:19:36.640 Like, that's what Germany's taking.
00:19:37.720 I don't think it will happen. Not a million per year.
00:19:41.060 What happens if there were more Muslim migrants than there are Swedes? Is that okay?
00:19:45.420 As long as, uh, you know, they follow the law and, uh, try to do the best and work hard, why not?
00:19:55.400 So, you have no problem with Swedes being a minority in Sweden?
00:19:59.600 No.
00:20:01.440 Actually not.
00:20:02.800 As long as me, it's a good country and, uh, you find work and the nature is still beautiful and the weather is like it is and...
00:20:10.700 And you don't have any kids anyways, right?
00:20:12.640 That's someone else's problem.
00:20:14.000 No, no, it's not an anyone else's problem.
00:20:16.220 As long as people are nice to each other, it doesn't matter where you live.
00:20:19.520 I mean, if there were 10 million Somalis here and then they brought in Somali-style law, it wouldn't be Sweden anymore if they brought in Sharia law.
00:20:27.540 No, I still don't think it will happen. I'm quite sure.
00:20:31.360 You've been very generous with your time. Thank you very much.
00:20:33.400 You're welcome.
00:20:34.480 That woman is Sweden personified.
00:20:36.620 Thank you very much. Uh, I, I recorded that 10 years ago. You can tell cause I'm 10 years handsomer now, but, um, I haven't forgot a word she said.
00:20:48.380 And Malmo was just a generation ago.
00:20:53.400 Malmo was a leading industrial city in Sweden.
00:20:58.540 And more than that, it was Swedish.
00:21:00.520 It was like 95% Swedish.
00:21:04.540 Yeah.
00:21:04.640 And now Rosengard, I tell you again, that was the only white woman I saw all day.
00:21:10.420 So I ran up to her.
00:21:12.680 Like, I, I'm not going to show more vids from my trip to Malmo, but there were people born and raised in Malmo who are for Sharia law, for banning booze, banning gays, banning women from being uncovered.
00:21:28.220 Um, they were born in Sweden now and what happens when, yeah.
00:21:35.180 And so what's happening in Malmo, why couldn't it happen in Toronto?
00:21:39.240 Is there something special about Toronto?
00:21:41.600 You know, I, you don't need to be sacked like Constantinople was.
00:21:46.140 You can open the gates to the city.
00:21:49.000 You don't have to burst through the gates if you're willing to open them voluntarily.
00:21:52.620 That's Toronto's future.
00:21:54.140 If we continue with mass immigration.
00:21:56.620 You know, Ezra, that was a fascinating interview.
00:21:59.780 You asked all the right questions and all the important questions.
00:22:03.020 And what I thought was astounding with so many of her answers was this Pollyanna approach.
00:22:09.140 Everything's going to be okay.
00:22:10.280 If my daughter wanted to convert to Islam and have to wear a niqab or burqa, if she, as long as she wanted to, that's okay.
00:22:17.780 And no limits on immigration from people from perhaps countries that are culturally incompatible.
00:22:25.660 And, you know, it reminded me of the most astonishing flag I saw on display at Walk with Israel yesterday, Ezra, where the pro-Hamas were demonstrating.
00:22:37.440 They had all kinds of flags.
00:22:39.060 The vast majority were Palestinian flags.
00:22:41.820 Only one Canadian flag.
00:22:43.700 There was a fellow wearing a Canadian flag as a cape.
00:22:46.860 But somebody was displaying the rainbow pride flag.
00:22:52.300 Oh, yeah, I saw that.
00:22:53.320 And I thought, this is astonishing.
00:22:56.400 It's like it's the old saying.
00:22:57.820 It's almost like chickens for KFC.
00:23:03.260 And, again, like if you were, if that person, assuming they're part of that community, if they went to Gaza and were openly gay or lesbian or bi or trans, whatever the descriptor is, you know how that ends as, right?
00:23:20.720 You're brought up to the top of a rooftop and you're thrown to your death.
00:23:25.000 That is the preferred method of execution.
00:23:29.700 And, you know, on the flip side of her, I remember when Efren and I, on an Al-Quds Day march, we encountered a guy who is now living in Canada.
00:23:41.820 He bragged about not taking an oath to the Queen and then went on and on about, it's just a matter of time.
00:23:49.640 Do we have that vid?
00:23:50.500 That vid has been cut and bootlegged a thousand times on social media because it's so astonishingly honest.
00:23:59.860 It really is the counterpart to this woman.
00:24:02.980 And what's fascinating.
00:24:03.900 Can you grab the, you know, the one from Al-Quds Day.
00:24:06.100 Yeah, I won't give anything away until we get it.
00:24:08.720 Probably the most famous clip Rebel News has ever published.
00:24:11.200 It's amazing, Ezra.
00:24:12.720 The honesty is amazing.
00:24:14.400 And, you know, it's really, you know, when our viewers watch this, see from time to time there are handlers trying to get this guy to shut the hell up.
00:24:24.400 Right, because he was giving away the game.
00:24:25.740 That's right.
00:24:26.160 It's like we've got the video on standby.
00:24:27.840 Let's take a look at it.
00:24:29.300 This is, you've probably seen this video many times.
00:24:33.280 So many people cut it and paste it and upload it because it's astonishing.
00:24:37.220 Let's take a look.
00:24:37.700 What would happen to a gay couple in Gaza?
00:24:43.160 They executed according to Islamic law.
00:24:45.880 Islam doesn't endorse gayism.
00:24:47.820 Islam doesn't endorse homosexuality.
00:24:49.640 Okay, so would you like to see Sharia law in Canada replace Canadian law?
00:24:53.620 At some point it will.
00:24:55.040 You know, because we have families.
00:24:57.140 We are making babies.
00:24:58.300 You're not.
00:24:59.480 Your population is going down the slump.
00:25:02.040 That's right.
00:25:02.580 Right?
00:25:03.240 By 2016, Muslims will be the biggest religious group the world over.
00:25:08.140 What are you going to do then?
00:25:09.600 We owe our allegiance and our loyalty first and foremost to our religion, not to the queen, to be honest.
00:25:16.100 When I went for my so-called oath, I was silent.
00:25:19.480 I didn't say anything.
00:25:20.440 It was your responsibility to make sure you got it out of me.
00:25:22.960 So when I didn't say anything, I'm not liable to any.
00:25:26.100 You know, Ezra, the only regret I have about that interview, sometimes you think about the killer question after it's done.
00:25:34.580 And what I would have asked him when he was bragging about killing gay people and that it's not compatible with Sharia law, I should have asked him, are you a father?
00:25:44.880 Because I really suspect he was.
00:25:46.500 And then I would say, sir, if, God forbid, one of your children came out of the closet, they said, I'm gay, I'm lesbian, would you want them executed?
00:25:57.540 And I really fear, Ezra, that even though a parent's love for their son or daughter should be unconditional, I think that maniac would say, yeah, he's got it or she's got to go.
00:26:09.280 Now, you call him a maniac, but really, I mean, he wasn't screaming.
00:26:13.600 No.
00:26:14.080 He was high energy and he was engaging, but to call him a maniac implies a mental illness.
00:26:20.540 It's like saying Hitler was mad, Hitler was crazy.
00:26:26.060 Yeah, you can try and ascribe it to madness or craziness, but it's actually a full-fledged philosophy and ideology.
00:26:33.480 And I think he was actually just saying the quiet part out loud.
00:26:38.000 And, you know, I think that guy you were talking to is, I mean, obviously he is at an Al-Quds Day event, so he's anti-Semitic.
00:26:49.880 Al-Quds Day is an officially anti-Semitic, anti-Jewish holiday created by the Islamic Republic of Iran to foment discord in the West.
00:26:58.480 So obviously he was more than just an ordinary guy if he was at that event.
00:27:02.540 But the level of extremism that the new Hamas protesters have is something altogether new.
00:27:09.280 Like, for example, going to, if we can have the clip, I don't know if you guys can find it, of the smoke bomb outside Café Landwehr.
00:27:19.380 There was a coffee shop bakery that was opened in Berlin about 100 years ago called Café Landwehr, run by some Jews.
00:27:27.980 Became a very popular coffee shop.
00:27:30.080 Obviously, when Hitler came in, Café Landwehr had to run away.
00:27:33.660 And they did, and they survived, and they've reopened.
00:27:37.920 They're now a chain, and there's about a half a dozen Café Landwehrs open in Toronto.
00:27:43.060 And I love them, by the way.
00:27:44.120 I mean, I just like that food.
00:27:45.360 It's a little bit European.
00:27:46.580 There's some Middle Eastern food.
00:27:47.980 I just think it's great coffee and tea.
00:27:52.200 And they have these patios.
00:27:54.500 And here, let me show you.
00:27:55.620 This is from Karima Sad.
00:27:58.020 With the smoke bomb driving out the customers.
00:28:03.840 And by the way, you'll see in this brief clip, it's a Jewish-themed restaurant.
00:28:08.420 But the people who work there, it's Toronto.
00:28:11.360 If you're staffing your coffee shop, you've got people of every race and creed.
00:28:15.840 The customer's there.
00:28:17.200 It's not a Jews-only place.
00:28:19.500 It's just another coffee shop.
00:28:21.020 Take a look at what these Hamas extremists did.
00:28:23.480 Take a look.
00:28:25.120 And the cops just standing there.
00:28:31.380 The cops...
00:28:32.140 The cops just standing there.
00:28:36.420 Not doing a thing.
00:28:38.540 Not doing a thing.
00:28:40.060 The cops doing nothing.
00:28:52.900 The cops are providing security to Hamas.
00:28:58.600 The cops are the concierges to Hamas.
00:29:01.460 They're the doping cats.
00:29:02.180 They're the doping cats.
00:29:04.260 Like these dopey...
00:29:06.220 What even is their purpose?
00:29:09.180 Like I say, if you think of them as upholding the law, you'll realize they're not fit for purpose.
00:29:15.340 But if you realize that they're to assist Hamas, then it all makes sense.
00:29:20.740 Ezra, it's worse than you think.
00:29:22.120 That fellow right there, the cop in the black bicycle helmet, that is Officer Chang, badge number 7724.
00:29:30.780 He's doing the professional wrestling referee warning.
00:29:34.060 Now cut it out or I'm going to warn you again.
00:29:36.500 That is this very same officer, Ezra, that in April of 2024, April 7th, as a matter of fact, the six-month vigil for the massacre from October 7th, 2023,
00:29:50.140 who without any warning, without any explanation, after he saw Efren and I being assaulted by the pro-Hamas mobsters at Nathan Phillips Square,
00:30:00.020 where Pierre Poliev was leading the vigil, 2,500 people were in the square.
00:30:07.000 I was arrested.
00:30:08.360 He smashed my phone.
00:30:09.920 We have video of that, if Olivia Efren can find it.
00:30:13.540 And I was arrested on what charge?
00:30:16.860 Trespassing.
00:30:17.940 Literally in the public square, practicing journalism in the public interest,
00:30:24.420 while these Hamasos, as I like to call them, were chanting genocide at a vigil, physically assaulted us.
00:30:33.140 And when the cops came, what a fool I was, Ezra.
00:30:35.600 I said, okay, they saw they crossed the line.
00:30:38.300 Oh, no, no, no.
00:30:39.480 I crossed the line.
00:30:40.980 My very presence was instigating the mob to get even further violent.
00:30:46.320 Much easier to arrest me than a couple of dozen Hamas adherents.
00:30:51.320 That is the same guy, Officer Chang.
00:30:54.560 And by the way, lighting off those smoke bombs, that's illegal.
00:30:58.120 Yeah.
00:30:58.340 You can't do that.
00:30:59.260 Let's take a look at the clip.
00:31:00.560 I think our team has it.
00:31:01.580 Okay.
00:31:02.740 So this is Officer Chang arresting you.
00:31:06.240 Same Officer Chang who was giving that fake warn.
00:31:09.320 Hey, guys, don't make me warn you again.
00:31:11.720 I know you had the clip of it once.
00:31:13.600 I just saw it on the preview screen there.
00:31:19.760 Yeah.
00:31:21.320 Watch our hands.
00:31:39.540 Watch our hands.
00:31:39.880 We have your face.
00:31:40.700 Watch our hands.
00:31:41.740 Watch our hands.
00:31:44.700 Watch our hands.
00:31:48.880 Watch our hands.
00:31:50.060 They can chant genocide in the street and I can't cover that.
00:32:06.480 Obey your oath, officer.
00:32:08.700 Obey your oath.
00:32:10.460 Listen, if I'm on the other side, get your hands off.
00:32:13.980 Okay, then I will take you to raise your phone now.
00:32:16.600 Put your hands behind your back.
00:32:18.080 Put your hands behind your back.
00:32:19.140 You're under arrest for refusing to leave, okay?
00:32:22.180 We're going to walk you to the wagon, Mr. Mayor.
00:32:24.720 Good boy.
00:32:26.040 Efren, are you catching this?
00:32:27.380 Yeah.
00:32:27.740 Once again, you're going to have 10 genocide in the streets of our democracy.
00:32:36.340 You're under arrest for refusing to leave from us, this is a public place.
00:32:41.280 This is literally the public square.
00:32:44.000 This is literally the last few numerous times.
00:32:47.160 We're trying to be as best as possible.
00:32:48.800 I'm not bitter.
00:32:49.760 Right?
00:32:50.180 You don't have power authority, okay?
00:32:52.020 You can suddenly, you know.
00:32:52.940 They assaulted me and you did nothing.
00:32:55.460 They assaulted me and you did nothing.
00:32:57.420 Did they charge you with anything or did they let you go in this case?
00:32:59.760 Oh, no.
00:33:00.160 That's one of the cases we had to fight and we did successfully because eventually the case was dropped because of no reasonable grounds for prosecution.
00:33:10.820 Ezra, and I just want to quickly say about that chanting of genocide in the streets that we've seen for 19 months now, that is contrary to section 319 of the criminal code.
00:33:20.440 The police do nothing.
00:33:21.440 The police do nothing.
00:33:21.900 Actually, I correct myself.
00:33:23.160 On cold days, they'll deliver coffee and Timbits to the Hamas people.
00:33:28.400 I want to ask you this, Ezra.
00:33:31.400 If this was any other identifiable group other than Jews, if this was people, a mob gathering, death to black people, death to gay people, would that be tolerated in this city for 19 months?
00:33:43.220 Well, I know it wouldn't because there's some very famous legal precedents in this country, Bill Watcott being one of the defendants, who are anti-gay, ratcheted up to 10.
00:33:58.380 And when the police are all over that, if you burn rubber on one of those rainbow crosswalks, the police will have a full-scale investigation into that.
00:34:09.180 But, you know, the Charlottesville hate fest of a decade ago, we've had Charlottesville anti-Semitic hate fests every week for a year and a half, and the police are the defenders of Hamas.
00:34:23.720 And that's what I saw this weekend at the March for Israel.
00:34:27.120 I see a couple of Super Chats come in.
00:34:28.480 I want to make sure we don't forget them.
00:34:30.500 Alex Greer chips in $7.
00:34:32.240 Thank you very much for that.
00:34:34.040 And Alex Greer, another $2.79, who says, well said, Ezra and David.
00:34:37.420 Well, thank you very much.
00:34:38.520 Thank you.
00:34:38.840 For your support.
00:34:40.020 And I think I've got those.
00:34:42.160 All right.
00:34:42.460 Well, we spent a lot of time on that Swedish clip, but I just remember being so demoralized by her.
00:34:51.200 And, you know, obviously she's not a political person, but there's a fatalism there.
00:34:59.560 And oh, well.
00:35:00.440 But imagine that.
00:35:01.260 Like, I don't know that much about the Swedes.
00:35:03.960 The Swedes and the Norwegians and the Danish.
00:35:06.340 All those countries are really close to each other.
00:35:09.560 I know that they all descend from the Vikings.
00:35:12.400 In fact, the Vikings came much further south and much further west.
00:35:16.620 Vikings actually came to Newfoundland.
00:35:18.400 If you've ever been to Lance O'Meadows, they were there a thousand years ago.
00:35:21.540 500 years before Columbus.
00:35:22.920 That's not some conspiracy theory.
00:35:24.380 You can see the ruins of the Viking settlement in Lance O'Meadows.
00:35:28.940 The Vikings were the most ferocious people around.
00:35:32.500 And I don't know if you know how the Vikings operated.
00:35:35.220 They would sack and pillage towns.
00:35:39.620 And, in fact, Kipling wrote a poem about them.
00:35:42.400 I just, can you forgive me?
00:35:44.960 I know you love Kipling.
00:35:46.680 He wrote a poem called The Dane Geld.
00:35:49.620 And the Dane Geld is what they called this Viking ransom demand.
00:35:55.000 Do you know this at all?
00:35:56.720 So, I'll just, let me just get a copy of it here.
00:36:03.280 Dane Geld Kipling.
00:36:05.180 I'm just going to read it.
00:36:06.020 I don't have it from memory, of course.
00:36:07.860 Here we go.
00:36:09.400 It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation to call upon a neighbor and to say,
00:36:16.440 we invaded you last night.
00:36:17.660 We are quite prepared to fight unless you pay us cash to go away.
00:36:21.020 It's almost like a limerick.
00:36:23.080 So, this is the Vikings.
00:36:24.940 And that is called asking for Dane Geld.
00:36:27.660 And the people who ask it explain that you've only to pay them the Dane Geld,
00:36:31.440 and then you'll get rid of the Dane.
00:36:33.140 That was the thinking, look, don't burn the town down.
00:36:35.860 Don't rape the women.
00:36:36.700 Don't kill us.
00:36:37.680 We'll just give you the money that you would take and just leave us alone.
00:36:41.120 That was called the Dane Geld.
00:36:43.820 That's what they called paying off the Vikings.
00:36:46.120 I'll read just a little bit more.
00:36:47.340 It's a great poem, and I'm almost done.
00:36:48.700 It's always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation to puff and look important and to say
00:36:54.180 that we know we should defeat you.
00:36:55.660 We have not the time to meet you.
00:36:56.680 We will therefore pay you back cash to go away.
00:36:59.620 So, it's got a rhythm to it, doesn't it?
00:37:01.360 This is Kipling.
00:37:03.080 And that is called paying the Dane Geld.
00:37:04.840 But we've proved it again and again that if once you have paid him the Dane Geld,
00:37:08.240 you'll never get rid of the Dane.
00:37:09.580 It's wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation for fear they should succumb and
00:37:14.360 go astray.
00:37:15.500 So, when you are requested to pay up or be molested, you will find a better policy to
00:37:20.760 say, we never pay anyone Dane Geld, no matter how trifling the cost.
00:37:25.980 For the end of that game is oppression and shame, and the nation that plays it is lost.
00:37:30.420 So, that's Rudyard Kipling saying, don't pay ransoms.
00:37:34.180 Don't pay shakedowns.
00:37:35.760 Stand firm.
00:37:37.440 If you pay an extortionist, you'll pay him again and again.
00:37:40.760 I think that's good advice for nations and for people.
00:37:43.760 But imagine the ferocious, audacious, violent people they're talking about.
00:37:50.520 They're talking about the Swedes.
00:37:52.340 Yes.
00:37:52.780 And the Danes and the Norwegians, and I don't know exactly where the delineation was.
00:37:57.660 I was in the Isle of Man.
00:37:58.980 The Vikings used to rule that place.
00:38:01.340 Yeah, I'm talking in the UK.
00:38:02.300 Imagine Vikings going back centuries, going back millennia, centuries of Viking blood,
00:38:13.180 one link in the chain to another, one generation after the other, and it ends not with a bang,
00:38:19.600 but with a whimper.
00:38:20.580 That woman in Rosengard, Malmo, saying, oh, well, I don't have any children.
00:38:28.240 The line ends with me.
00:38:30.540 I have, I know some friends, and if they convert and if they change, there's no limit to foreign.
00:38:38.060 Like, it just, I can only imagine, I don't know much about Vikings.
00:38:42.020 I never watched any of the Viking TV series.
00:38:43.900 I know they're popular.
00:38:46.260 How can the country that produced the most ferocious, bloodthirsty people end with such a liberal whimper, David?
00:38:56.420 It's amazing.
00:38:57.200 Well, first of all, that poem, very highbrow.
00:38:59.640 Ezra, as you know, most of the poetry I consume begin with the opening stanza of Hickory Dickory Duck.
00:39:05.820 Oh, but seriously, folks, if you were to resurrect those Vikings from millennia ago,
00:39:13.640 and you brought them to Sweden, to Denmark, what have you, what do you think they would say?
00:39:20.440 I don't think they believe their eyes.
00:39:23.880 Like, we used to be a conquering tribe, and now people are voluntarily giving up their country
00:39:32.120 because, in her words, well, Swedish women aren't having children.
00:39:36.280 Well, listen, ladies, get busy.
00:39:39.540 And Swedes don't want to do certain jobs, but you poked a hole in that by showing how many Somalian Swedes were on social assistance.
00:39:48.840 And, you know, and that's what it comes down to.
00:39:50.100 I mean, you know, about 20 years ago, Mark Stein, his brilliant book, America Alone,
00:39:55.900 with all the Western democracy except for the United States, a birth rate of under 2.0,
00:40:04.760 which means that you are not naturally replenishing your population unless you, you know, depend on immigration.
00:40:13.500 I would say, okay, that's fine, but we have to have a filter, I think, to make sure that newcomers to Western democracies are simpatico with Western values.
00:40:29.340 And when you see people advocating Sharia law, when you see people advocating genocide for a certain group of people,
00:40:37.200 clearly that's not the case.
00:40:38.420 Jason, to your earlier point, you're going to bring gas in?
00:40:42.220 You are going to effectively throw gasoline on the fire?
00:40:45.300 This is madness.
00:40:46.460 This is our own Malmo of Antezra.
00:40:49.240 Yeah.
00:40:49.600 And, oh, we need people who are going to take care of us.
00:40:52.800 Sister, you don't understand who's taking care of whom.
00:40:56.540 You know, I think if you brought back one of those bloodthirsty Vikings from 1,000 years ago,
00:41:01.840 he would look around and he would say, who is this mighty king who invaded us?
00:41:07.120 Who was it who finally subdued the great Vikings?
00:41:11.280 And then he would be told, no, no, no, we opened the gates for them.
00:41:16.940 And he wouldn't believe it.
00:41:18.720 He said, no, no, no, that can't be.
00:41:20.360 That can't be.
00:41:21.940 And I'm trying to think, has any civilization in history simply said, hey, foreign civilizations, just come in en masse?
00:41:32.120 I mean, there were great metropolises.
00:41:36.300 Rome itself was saying all roads lead to Rome.
00:41:41.560 London, in the great age of exploration, you know, ships coming and going.
00:41:47.500 But that's very different than saying move people en masse to just live here.
00:41:55.560 It's not even this.
00:41:56.420 I mean, I guess you could look at it from a First Nations point of view.
00:42:00.920 They were wiped out.
00:42:03.020 Yeah.
00:42:03.560 I mean, from the European point of view, they were settlers.
00:42:07.200 They settled and built the modern Americas.
00:42:11.540 And that's very true.
00:42:12.600 But it's also true that there were some folks here.
00:42:15.580 And if you read, can you look, can you put on the screen Bernal Diaz, Conquest of the New World?
00:42:23.700 I think it's probably my favorite history book I've ever read.
00:42:27.500 Can you throw that on the screen?
00:42:29.280 It's, the author is B-E-R-N-A-L-D-I-A-Z.
00:42:35.860 Bernal Diaz del Castillo Reyes, The Conquest of New Spain.
00:42:40.980 And I have to tell you, this book was a diary written by, let me read the Google Books summary of it.
00:42:52.300 Bernal Diaz del Castillo, born 1492, died 1584.
00:42:58.580 Was a foot soldier in the army of Mexico's conqueror, Hernán Cortés.
00:43:02.920 You've heard of Cortés.
00:43:03.700 Oh, yes.
00:43:04.020 And participated in the campaigns that led to the fall of the Aztec Empire in 1521.
00:43:11.040 Absolutely astonishing, amazing.
00:43:15.240 This 1928 translation of his journals derives from the 1904 edition by the Mexican historian Gennaro Garcia, yada, yada.
00:43:23.920 Written as a corrective to accounts that overemphasized Cortés' exploits,
00:43:29.060 Diaz's epic focuses on the experience of the common soldier.
00:43:33.940 The most complete contemporary chronicle of the Mexican conquest, this important blah, blah, blah.
00:43:39.160 It's called The History of the Conquest of New Spain.
00:43:43.780 It's by Bernal Diaz.
00:43:46.920 Every page, unbelievable, until you realize it's not fiction.
00:43:53.660 It's history, one of the, there's only a few hundred of these men that subdued an entire Aztec empire.
00:44:04.140 Imagine opening the door to an invading civilization.
00:44:08.640 The Aztecs tried to fight.
00:44:10.200 They were tricked.
00:44:10.880 They obviously didn't have firearms.
00:44:12.880 They didn't know what horses were.
00:44:14.260 When they first saw conquistadors on horses, they thought it was one creature.
00:44:19.160 Have you ever seen the movie Apocalypto?
00:44:22.300 No, I haven't.
00:44:22.800 It's one of my favorite things to talk about on the live stream.
00:44:26.700 I'll watch it next weekend.
00:44:28.160 Can we play a little bit of the trailer of that?
00:44:30.480 I know we are so far afield.
00:44:32.800 But Tenuktitla, which was the capital city, must have seemed impenetrable, must have seen.
00:44:42.020 But then invaders came.
00:44:44.240 I just can't think of any other period of time when, not just a civilization, but an apex civilization, the mightiest civilizations, would throw open the gates.
00:44:55.760 Like, I understand the Aztecs being invaded.
00:44:58.340 They had no chance against Cortez.
00:44:59.780 I recommend the book.
00:45:01.220 They had no chance.
00:45:03.580 But, and Rome, maybe Rome tells the story.
00:45:08.700 It was partly from invasions and partly from national suicide.
00:45:12.320 But I can't think of any comparison to what the West is doing.
00:45:17.720 And I, you don't even have to go back and ask what the Vikings would have thought.
00:45:21.320 What would Winston Churchill have thought?
00:45:23.340 What would John F. Kennedy have thought?
00:45:26.340 Anyhow, can I show you a little bit of Apocalypto just because it's such a beautiful movie.
00:45:30.920 And it's a beautiful movie.
00:45:32.620 It's by Mel Gibson.
00:45:33.320 It's in completely foreign language.
00:45:36.980 It's, and the reason I think Mel Gibson made this movie is the last 30 seconds.
00:45:43.000 Anyhow, can I show a little bit of the trailer?
00:45:45.040 Can we show some of the trailers?
00:45:46.460 It's off topic, but I think that's half the fun.
00:45:49.360 Go ahead.
00:45:51.640 It's called Apocalypto.
00:45:54.680 Terrifying.
00:45:59.020 I love Mel Gibson.
00:46:00.260 He's the best.
00:46:03.320 What would Technopticland look like in 1491, let's say, or the year before the Spanish came?
00:46:19.220 What would have been like, and what would have been like the moment of contact?
00:46:24.060 This is very far afield from our conversation.
00:46:26.640 This is just one of my favorite movies of all time.
00:46:28.540 Have you seen that?
00:46:29.880 Oh, I haven't.
00:46:30.900 But now I have two recommendations from you.
00:46:32.760 So Apocalypto, and I swear, folks, Angry Birds.
00:46:36.140 I did not want to see Angry Birds.
00:46:38.140 I thought, I don't want to see a movie based on a stupid video game.
00:46:41.360 But that is the most right-wing movie I've ever seen in my life.
00:46:46.040 So Apocalypto is a bunch of things.
00:46:49.540 It's an imagination of what life was like in those giant pyramids.
00:46:56.960 Now, they're not actually giant pyramids compared to the Egyptian pyramids.
00:47:02.460 But what did they do in those pyramids?
00:47:04.220 Do you know what they did?
00:47:05.640 Sacrificed?
00:47:06.180 They sacrificed by the thousand.
00:47:09.640 There was war and slavery, and they would capture their enemies,
00:47:15.180 and they would sacrifice them alive.
00:47:18.740 The blood would run down the pyramids.
00:47:22.180 It's such a horrific show.
00:47:25.560 It's rated R, I'm sure, without even checking.
00:47:28.720 I know that.
00:47:30.760 And I'll give it away because it's not actually essential to the movie,
00:47:35.400 but the last 30 seconds of it.
00:47:37.660 Oh, and an amazing chase scene.
00:47:38.940 How do you have an amazing chase scene, you know, in pre-Columbian America with no vehicles?
00:47:45.360 But just the chase scene is just first-rate filmmaking.
00:47:51.580 And I was thinking, what's Mel Gibson doing here?
00:47:54.320 Why does he care?
00:47:56.540 He showed how brutal life was, how red in tooth and claw it was.
00:48:02.600 And then the last 30 seconds of the movie are Spanish ships with the cross on the sails coming ashore with the cross.
00:48:11.760 And it was a reminder of, if you think Christianity is brutal, even in its worst moments,
00:48:18.140 you don't understand what it replaced.
00:48:22.080 Now, that was an invasion that raised the spiritual and moral and safety.
00:48:29.120 Like, you know, they talk about life before society is nasty, brutish, and short.
00:48:37.280 I think it was Hobbes who said that.
00:48:39.720 And we created a social contract where we would give the government a monopoly of violence
00:48:44.840 and we wouldn't just kill each other all the time.
00:48:47.080 That's what life was like before the conquistadors came.
00:48:51.000 And yeah, the conquistadors in 2025, David,
00:48:53.900 they don't come ashore with ships and muskets and cannons.
00:48:56.580 They just walk right in the door.
00:49:00.660 And they don't elevate us from a war of all against all.
00:49:03.860 They bring that war of all against all.
00:49:06.500 I think that it was too many generations ago that we stopped fighting.
00:49:11.720 We fought the last fight.
00:49:13.540 And now we somehow think that the natural state of the world is peace,
00:49:19.320 that the natural state of man is prosperity and happiness and freedom.
00:49:22.800 When, in fact, if you look at the stretch of time, that's an anomaly.
00:49:27.420 Throughout the sweep of history, it's been pain and violence and injustice and unfreedom and poverty.
00:49:37.160 And it's not just technology that has improved life.
00:49:40.300 It's the structures of freedom rooted in the liberal society, rooted in Christianity in large part.
00:49:47.780 And we are throwing that away.
00:49:49.300 That woman, that Swede, is throwing—it's like the peasant who finds a pearl on the beach
00:49:56.040 and doesn't know what it's worth and throws it back into the sea.
00:49:59.260 She doesn't realize how many generations it took to strengthen Sweden, to protect Sweden,
00:50:06.160 and build and make it such a lovable place.
00:50:09.260 And she's just going to give it away because someone's going to mop up the hospital room that she dies in.
00:50:17.940 I don't know.
00:50:18.640 I mishmashed a lot of different things together there.
00:50:20.800 No, not at all.
00:50:21.320 But Ezra, the question arises, do you think when it comes to Canada, when it comes to Sweden,
00:50:26.720 the Western world, are we actually watching in slow motion our extinction event?
00:50:32.760 Or is there a way to course-correct this?
00:50:37.560 Well, there's a reason why Donald Trump won.
00:50:40.880 Won in 2016 and won in 2024.
00:50:44.120 He said he would build a wall.
00:50:46.660 That's what he said in 2016.
00:50:48.400 In 2024, he would say he would deport them.
00:50:51.000 And he has done all you can possibly do.
00:50:54.640 He's been stymied by the courts.
00:50:56.980 But number one, rule of holes.
00:51:00.220 When you're in a hole, stop digging.
00:51:02.040 So first thing is he stopped the daily invasions, like by 95%.
00:51:06.460 Oh, yeah.
00:51:07.120 Number two, he's doing deportations.
00:51:10.120 But he's, you know, 10, 15 million people came in under Biden's watch.
00:51:16.360 The courts are trying to run out the clock.
00:51:19.340 That's one thing.
00:51:20.420 And to bring value and meaning to your passport again.
00:51:23.860 It's the opposite of what's being done in Canada and Ireland.
00:51:27.320 I think I told you I was in the United Kingdom for a special by-election they had in the 16th safest labor riding in the country.
00:51:38.340 There's hundreds of MPs there.
00:51:40.480 I forget how many there are.
00:51:41.560 It's like 600 or something.
00:51:43.280 And this was one of the most safe labor seats.
00:51:45.460 Labor won it with 53% last time.
00:51:47.440 They had a by-election.
00:51:49.340 The Reform UK party, one that's Nigel Farage's party, came in first.
00:51:54.520 And I was there.
00:51:55.400 And their pamphlets, here's the slogan.
00:51:58.760 Freeze immigration, stop the boats.
00:52:02.820 Freeze immigration, stop the boats.
00:52:05.180 You had me at hello.
00:52:06.000 That is what flipped it over.
00:52:08.460 You know, there were other promises too, but they were so far behind issue number one.
00:52:15.860 The only question, is it too late?
00:52:19.060 Ireland, it's the same thing.
00:52:21.140 The Netherlands, it's the same thing.
00:52:22.980 Germany, maybe it's the same thing.
00:52:25.840 Their new chancellor, I don't quite know where he stands.
00:52:29.340 I think Europe and the West are waking up, but is it too late?
00:52:35.420 And will there be the necessary strength and even brutality to undo what has been done?
00:52:42.840 And I don't mean brutality in a violent sense, but when you are deporting people, you're deporting
00:52:48.520 people who have made friends and who have put some roots down.
00:52:52.260 And that requires a bit of cold heart.
00:52:55.360 But if someone came into the country illegally, do you have the cold enough heart to enforce
00:53:01.440 the law?
00:53:01.900 Or are you like that lady in Sweden who says, oh, well, oh, well, as long as Sweden is a
00:53:07.880 lovely place and the birds are chirping, it'll always be home.
00:53:11.980 No, sister.
00:53:12.980 Sweden is not Sweden because of some rocks and some birds.
00:53:17.100 It's Sweden because of generations of Swedes.
00:53:21.340 There is something Swedish about Sweden.
00:53:25.680 It's not just a hotel room.
00:53:28.340 And that concept of nationalism, you can't put someone on a plane for 12 hours and suddenly
00:53:38.080 think that by setting their feet down on the ground, they're suddenly going to become a
00:53:42.220 liberal who loves Canada, loves America, loves Britain, loves Sweden.
00:53:46.260 Yeah, I'm ranting a little bit.
00:53:47.520 There's some super chats here.
00:53:48.820 Let me read them.
00:53:49.360 Karen Lesiak, $28, love you guys.
00:53:51.800 Thank you for bringing Canadiens the truth.
00:53:53.880 By the way, Ezra, love your book.
00:53:55.060 Librando.
00:53:55.520 So thank you very much.
00:53:56.540 I appreciate that.
00:53:58.420 I think we missed another super chat or maybe it was a rumble rant from Laura, $7.
00:54:05.660 Keep up the real journalism.
00:54:07.280 You betcha.
00:54:07.900 I think I see a video from Chris Dacey.
00:54:16.940 Sorry.
00:54:18.060 Can we play the Chris Dacey video?
00:54:19.720 I haven't seen it yet, but it looks interesting.
00:54:22.560 It looks like Chrystia Freeland, who is used to arresting reporters like David she doesn't
00:54:27.620 like, may be up to her old tricks again.
00:54:29.800 Let's take a look.
00:54:30.640 This is from our friend Chris Dacey at Dacey Media.
00:54:32.880 She just saw us and it looks like she's going to run away.
00:54:41.800 Chrystia Freeland just turned, saw us.
00:54:44.880 It appears as though she's scared.
00:54:47.240 Someone on the phone now.
00:54:48.380 We just want to speak to our elected officials.
00:54:52.500 Why are the police stopping her?
00:55:22.560 Chrystia Freeland running from questions.
00:55:25.600 Why are the police stopping her from asking questions?
00:55:28.460 What does it mean to call the secure area?
00:55:32.340 She refused accountability.
00:55:34.700 This is our elected official.
00:55:37.000 Why are the police running errands for her?
00:55:39.460 Chris Dacey, who filmed that, should be lucky that his bank account wasn't stresed.
00:55:43.900 Why did police stop Alexa?
00:55:46.520 Alexa is clearly harmless.
00:55:48.480 Her questions are just questions.
00:55:51.060 They know her.
00:55:51.940 She's no threat.
00:55:53.000 Why did the police intervene?
00:55:54.980 You know, it speaks to the bigger question of how independent media is treated these days,
00:55:59.580 Ezra.
00:55:59.820 I think you had the line of 2024 when we went to Bathurst and Shepherd to cover the pro-Hamas
00:56:09.320 people spewing their vile and venom and genocidal chants.
00:56:14.420 And I remember a cop saying to you, oh, you can't be here.
00:56:17.720 You have to go to the free speech zone.
00:56:20.340 Remember that?
00:56:21.060 And you had a brilliant comeback.
00:56:23.440 Sorry, mate.
00:56:24.420 The free speech zone is Canada.
00:56:26.360 But it isn't.
00:56:27.360 It isn't.
00:56:27.520 Clearly.
00:56:27.920 In a public space with elected officials, and they know who Chris Dacey is.
00:56:33.380 They certainly know who Alexa Lavoie is.
00:56:35.300 They know who I am.
00:56:36.680 They know we mean no harm.
00:56:38.700 And yet, you know, the RCMP, I'm not sure which police service that was, maybe Ottawa.
00:56:45.080 They're saying this is a secure area.
00:56:47.320 What are you talking about a secure area?
00:56:48.840 Well, it's a double standard.
00:56:49.740 So the Hamas types who are foreign nationals, wearing masks, shouting venom at Jews who had
00:56:55.380 a parade permit in a Jewish neighborhood, trespassing in some cases, they're fine.
00:57:02.180 But Alexa Lavoie asking a question is not fine.
00:57:05.580 Me asking.
00:57:06.200 So there is free speech if you're with Hamas.
00:57:09.740 Yeah.
00:57:10.140 But not if you're with Rebel News.
00:57:12.340 And Ezra, to compare apples to apples here, that very same corner, as we talked about
00:57:17.540 at the beginning of the show, there was an area, a park, where the police said, okay,
00:57:23.260 for the pro-Hamas people, this is your designated protest zone.
00:57:26.900 They violated that right away.
00:57:28.600 We got there almost an hour and a half before the walk began.
00:57:31.600 They were already set up at Bathurst and Shepherd.
00:57:35.120 I was asking police, why aren't you enforcing this?
00:57:39.100 And nothing.
00:57:40.260 And another double standard I want to point out, because this is disturbing, we saw a
00:57:45.220 fellow brandishing a hand grenade.
00:57:47.420 I really believe it's a replica hand grenade, but that's not the point.
00:57:51.480 Right.
00:57:51.720 You want to check.
00:57:52.940 And I said to the police, and we have it on camera, Avery Armstrong was recording it,
00:57:58.460 excuse me, officers, are you going to check that that is real or not?
00:58:02.460 And by the way, even if it isn't real, what is the message there?
00:58:05.420 You know, you're within throwing distance away from tens of thousands of people.
00:58:10.920 Is this it here?
00:58:11.880 No, this is Chief Dem Q.
00:58:13.780 I was asking about the double standards, and you can see he ran away into his SUV.
00:58:20.020 And I can tell you this, Ezra, again, to compare apples to apples, Avery Armstrong and I,
00:58:24.380 a week ago Saturday, we were at Lawrence and Midland in Scarborough, and some wannabe gangbanger
00:58:31.780 walked past us as we were doing filming, and he brandished the handle of his handgun.
00:58:38.040 Well, we phoned 911 right away.
00:58:40.160 You know what?
00:58:40.620 But I believe five police recruisers responded.
00:58:44.180 They took our statements.
00:58:45.460 They looked at our video.
00:58:47.540 You know, and we don't even know if that was a replica handgun or not.
00:58:50.800 But the point is, they took it seriously with this masked pro-Hamas guy with a hand grenade.
00:58:56.340 Oh, no, no, he gets the free reign.
00:58:59.820 Don't bug us.
00:59:00.880 You know what?
00:59:01.180 They were making a gamble with Jewish lives as the bounty.
00:59:05.140 They were saying, all right, path of least resistance is let it go.
00:59:08.620 Because if I asked to see it, at the very least, I've got some paperwork issues.
00:59:13.160 But I might be criticized by the DEI police chief, who's obviously siding with Hamas.
00:59:18.320 So, boy, it sure is fishy to see a grenade.
00:59:21.520 I am a cop.
00:59:23.200 This is a high security event.
00:59:25.240 There's thousands of Jews here.
00:59:26.900 That grenade, if it's real and if it's used, could cause, theoretically, a dozen people to be murdered.
00:59:33.780 I'm going to pretend I didn't see it, because that's what I think the chief wants.
00:59:38.380 And you know what's important to point out?
00:59:40.080 It's not like this was a massive pro-Hamas, 20,000 demonstrators.
00:59:46.420 There was maybe 100 or so.
00:59:48.460 There were way more police that day, I would argue, because of the egregious event that happened in Washington, D.C. last week.
00:59:56.760 So this idea, hey, we're outnumbered.
00:59:58.980 What can we do?
00:59:59.860 The police could end all of this in every city in one day.
01:00:04.560 The University of Calgary had one of these anti-Semitic encampments.
01:00:07.060 It was cleared in one day.
01:00:09.440 There is no city in Canada, even Montreal, that could not be handled if the police made the decision to do so.
01:00:15.940 But in every city, they've decided not to.
01:00:18.100 David, I look at the clock on the wall.
01:00:19.300 It's 6.206.
01:00:20.620 Thanks for letting me take over the live stream, show you a bunch of movies unrelated to anything, talk about Mel Gibson, read a little Kipling, show an old-fashioned interview with someone 10 years ago in Sweden.
01:00:33.660 But I appreciate you letting me come in here, and thanks for being there yesterday at the Walk with Israel.
01:00:41.520 Last word to you.
01:00:42.480 I just want to say, Ezra, thank you for not spoiling the ending to Angry Birds.
01:00:47.560 You know, I hate movies that are based on video games.
01:00:53.540 I think, am I that much of a chump?
01:00:55.640 I'm going to pay to see it.
01:00:57.100 Angry Birds is so good.
01:00:59.220 First of all, it's so funny.
01:01:01.100 Oh, my God.
01:01:02.560 The Lake of Wisdom scene.
01:01:06.620 I've watched that 10 times, and I laugh every time.
01:01:10.940 David, you're going to love it.
01:01:11.980 This is going to be your favorite new movie.
01:01:13.400 But when was the last time you saw a movie that was skeptical of refugees and immigration?
01:01:20.280 Because the pigs are coming over to the birds and saying, oh, we're your friends.
01:01:26.900 And only the Angry Birds says, guys, there's something not right about this.
01:01:32.660 It is such a good movie.
01:01:34.860 Okay.
01:01:35.880 No more spoilers.
01:01:37.140 You know what?
01:01:37.920 Will you promise me you'll see Angry Birds?
01:01:40.700 It's a great show.
01:01:41.800 All right, my friends.
01:01:43.500 Thanks to Olivia and Efron, who have been working the show here, and everybody else.
01:01:50.180 From us here at Rebel...
01:01:51.500 And by the way, we're going to have a longer report on the Walk with Israel tonight on the Ezra LeVance show.
01:01:57.340 So tune in at 8 p.m. Eastern for that.
01:01:59.180 Until next time, on behalf of all of us here at Rebel World Headquarters, you at home, good night.
01:02:03.580 Goodbye.
01:02:04.280 And keep fighting for freedom.
01:02:05.200 And keep fighting for freedom.
01:02:11.280 Bye.
01:02:11.580 Bye.
01:02:11.920 Bye.
01:02:12.300 Bye.
01:02:14.580 Bye.
