00:00:00.000 It's been an insanely busy week for me here at Rebel News, and it is only Wednesday.
00:00:04.880 So tonight, you're my guest. I'm Sheila Gunn-Reed, and you're watching The Gunn Show.
00:00:08.960 so viewers of the show know that when i get so busy with my rebel news responsibilities
00:00:31.040 i turn the show over to you now sometimes you'll get an email from me asking for viewer feedback
00:00:37.240 And I love those. And don't worry, you're going to get one of those emails very, very soon. But sometimes I just go to the comment section and we do a full show of comments. Now, to explain why I've been so busy, many of you know that I have a third party advertiser in the Alberta referendum campaign on the side of allowing for an independence vote. It's called Alberta's Choice. You can find it at albertas-choice.com. And we are a small operation.
00:01:04.980 It's basically just me and one or two other volunteers, including my CFO, and every spare moment it feels like that I'm not doing rebel news journalism, I'm working on that thing.
00:01:18.000 I get up at five o'clock in the morning, I spend three hours working on a project called AlbertaFactCheck.com with my friend Corey Morgan from the Western Standard, where we debunk the misinformation, half-throughs, and all-out lies sometimes from the Federalist side.
00:01:34.120 So I do that. Then 8am, straight into Rebel News work. And then after work and on the weekends, just about every single weekend, I am on the independence vote junket. I'm giving out signs or speaking at events. So not a lot of time. But also this week, a monkey wrench right into the middle of it. I am covering the Human Rights Commission for one Benita Peterson.
00:01:58.620 Now, if you have been around in Alberta during the COVID times and now sort of in the independence world, Benita Peterson is a force of nature. 0.98
00:02:11.760 During COVID, she got herself 10 illegal public gathering tickets for holding events and rallies against the COVID mandates.
00:02:20.320 And then she was the lady whose public information campaign prompted a municipal plebiscite in the town of Westlock to remove the rainbow sidewalk in favor of, you know, just regular old sidewalks, non-political sidewalks.
00:02:39.540 It's municipal infrastructure. It's there for safety. It's not there for politics.
00:02:43.840 the community responded to her campaign by holding a plebiscite and giving everyone their say which
00:02:51.840 is how it should be and the town voted to remove the rainbow sidewalk and there was a knock-on
00:02:58.540 effect after that i think barhead removed their rainbow sidewalk and then other communities
00:03:03.080 decided that they did not want to be benita peterson and they just removed the rainbow
00:03:07.920 sidewalks on their own. But because Benita was so successful, she now is facing a Human Rights 0.73
00:03:17.420 Commission hearing for hurting the feelings of the handful of lefties. And I really mean handful
00:03:27.080 of lefties. Not all of them are actually from the community of Westlock. With her information flyers
00:03:34.780 for the campaign to get rid of the sidewalk. And I should tell you, Benita was up against 0.89
00:03:43.220 all the forces of the universe. The federal liberals deployed Randy Blossino to Westlock.
00:03:49.840 The NDP deployed Janice Irwin to Westlock to stand up against the alleged campaign of hate
00:03:58.700 from bonita peterson now her campaign of hate involved wanting political neutrality on the 0.62
00:04:05.720 sidewalks and to protect kids from exposure to sexuality before they're ready and certain
00:04:17.260 sexual political agendas i think literally her flyers said that and yet i am sitting through
00:04:24.320 Currently, I'm on a break right now, day three of that hearing.
00:04:28.060 So because my schedule was so crazy, I wasn't able to book a guest that could work around
00:04:36.000 my breaks in the commission.
00:04:39.600 So you're the guest.
00:04:41.680 I went through some of our more interesting, and I think all of our work is interesting,
00:04:47.220 but more interesting stories over the past week.
00:04:50.920 And I wanted to know what you had to say, and then we could talk about it.
00:04:54.320 Deal? Okay, let's get into it. First story is from me. So after spending all weekend giving
00:05:03.660 out signs, I was in Medicine Hat, then I was in Cochrane, and then I was in Olds.
00:05:11.360 I had to basically come home, change my clothes, turn and burn, and head back to Calgary because
00:05:18.160 I had an emergency court hearing. You see, we are suing Elections Alberta. We want them to tell us
00:05:27.980 if they have an open investigation into the campaign finances of Forever Canadian. If they
00:05:34.600 don't have an investigation, and boy, they should. If they don't have an investigation,
00:05:41.000 they need to tell us why not because they are on the federalist side they have a tour bus
00:05:49.260 two campaign offices they're giving out lawn signs they're taking donations they've had
00:05:55.340 one and now a second coming up benefit concerts which are donations in kind you need to declare
00:06:03.580 that, but they have declared zero revenue, zero expenditures. It's not possible. It's just not
00:06:12.460 possible. Now, Thomas Lukasik says that he's received a letter from Elections Alberta giving
00:06:16.840 him the thumbs up for this, but no one's ever seen it, and I don't want to take his word for it.
00:06:22.680 And if Elections Alberta has given him that letter, I want to see it too, because as far as I'm
00:06:27.440 concerned, I'm engaged in the exact same campaign activities as Thomas Lukasik's Forever Canada.
00:06:33.580 or forever Canadian. Sometimes in the exact same parking lot. I'm not lying. Exact same parking
00:06:41.080 lot in Lethbridge. I had a signed handout. They had a signed handout. They were, you know,
00:06:48.140 advocating for their side of the referendum. I was advocating for mine, but only one of us had
00:06:52.260 to declare our expenses and our revenue that day. And it wasn't Thomas Lukasik. So with your help
00:06:59.060 and your donations at stopthecheaters.com.
00:07:02.920 Chad Williamson from Williamson Law
00:07:05.420 was able to get this in front of a judge
00:07:08.020 and the judge said,
00:07:10.320 this is timely.
00:07:14.240 It is of the essence
00:07:15.240 and both sides need to immediately write
00:07:18.560 to the Associate Chief Justice
00:07:20.820 of the Provincial Court.
00:07:23.960 We had, it's Wednesday right now.
00:07:26.700 Our submissions need to be in by today.
00:07:29.060 The other side, the elections commissioner, they need to have their submissions in response to our submission, asking for an emergency hearing in by Friday.
00:07:40.460 And hopefully the judge thinks it's an emergency.
00:07:44.080 But when I was there on Monday, they could have just said, go away, everybody.
00:07:49.520 If Elections Alberta investigates, they investigate.
00:07:52.240 If they don't, they don't.
00:07:53.600 the elections commissioner seems to think that this is not an emergency, but if they are found
00:08:01.400 to be cheating and that finding comes after the election, well, the damage is done. The finding
00:08:09.220 is moot and democracy is harmed. We just want fair treatment. Anyway, here's a clip of my video
00:08:16.700 from just outside the courthouse. A judge in Calgary is not going to let the Alberta Elections
00:08:23.220 Commissioner kick the ball down the road until the referendum game is over. I'm Sheila Gunn-Reed
00:08:28.960 and I just got out of a hearing today at the Calgary Court Centre. Rebel News is suing the
00:08:34.900 Alberta Elections Commissioner because the Elections Commissioner has ignored our request
00:08:39.880 for an investigation into the campaign activities of the federalist third-party advertiser Forever
00:08:46.620 You see, while the independence side of the referendum is complying with the rules, filing weekly financial disclosures, Forever Canadian, with its tour bus, two campaign offices, thousands of signs, volunteers everywhere, and now two benefit concerts, including one by Jan Arden, they have declared no expenditures and no campaign donations.
00:09:16.620 It's become an icon, anywhere you want.
00:09:44.620 That's unfair.
00:09:45.620 For Albertans to have confidence in the results of the referendum, they have to be confident in the referee.
00:09:51.760 To see all of our documents, including the 200-plus legal compendium we filed over a month ago and the 360-plus pages of my affidavit,
00:10:03.920 and to make a donation to cover our legal costs, you can visit StopTheCheaters.com.
00:10:08.720 Today's court hearing wasn't long, but it was vitally important because the court is moving at warp speed.
00:10:16.800 The judge today referred our lawyers from Williamson Law to write a letter to Associate Chief Justice Nixon asking for an expedited hearing.
00:10:26.740 Our documents have to be in by Wednesday.
00:10:29.580 And the judge today is preventing the other side from ragging the puck and delaying the hearing until after the referendum, saying that their response to our request for an expedited hearing has to be in by Friday.
00:10:44.640 Interesting side note in all of this, the lawyer for Forever Canadian is actually Brett Rathgaber.
00:10:51.640 Now, some of you may know him, if you've been around politics as long as I have, as a former Conservative MP from St. Albert who quit Stephen Harper's Conservatives in 2013 because he thought the party wasn't transparent enough.
00:11:06.200 And yet today he's in court arguing to keep Forever Canadians' finances opaque from Albertans.
00:11:13.420 our lawyers at williamson law are going to be working hard and working fast to get their
00:11:18.900 documents into the associate chief justice to support their work again that website is
00:11:24.640 stop the cheaters.com here in calgary outside of the calgary court center okay let's see what you
00:11:32.180 guys had to say on the youtube comments j dog n7d writes finally a small win now let's hope for a
00:11:38.860 big win you know what that's all we can do that's all we can do is fight and the thing about rebel
00:11:44.240 news is we're made for fighting all the third-party advertisers seem to be of the same mind that
00:11:52.520 forever canadian is getting special treatment here but and and this is not a condemnation to
00:11:58.760 my friends and the other third-party advertisers but no one has quite done anything about it well
00:12:04.040 boy we're gonna now we're made for fighting we're made for litigation over here at rebel news so
00:12:09.620 this is our specialty fighting with the government and winning so um and my friends in the other
00:12:17.600 third party advertisers they're out doing events they're out giving signs they're giving talks
00:12:21.860 they're advocating for their position um they don't have time now neither do i frankly but
00:12:30.840 But I do have friends at Rebel News who can help me with these sorts of things.
00:12:35.580 So, you know, let's hope for the best.
00:12:39.660 Our submissions are in today.
00:12:42.080 The respondents have to respond by Friday.
00:12:45.240 And hopefully the Associate Chief Justice agrees this is an emergency matter that needs to be heard yesterday.
00:12:54.700 jc 7906 says the commissioner needs to be thrown out
00:13:01.000 where's the lie um if you are running a system that has caused people to lose faith in it
00:13:12.900 and your only job is to make sure that people have faith in the system by applying the rules
00:13:17.680 fairly you have failed in your job maybe you got to go maybe you have to go
00:13:24.120 first you 71 says thank you to sheila and rebel news fighting for Alberta now look
00:13:31.700 yes I did have to sign a 360 plus page affidavit every single page in front of a lawyer and we did
00:13:41.080 have to have lawyers draft that and my CFO Lyndon Dunkley he had to do the same but really we
00:13:46.560 couldn't do this at all I mean this is so expensive we couldn't do this at all without
00:13:52.060 your donations to stopthecheaters.com. So sure, I'm doing it, but I'm only able to do it thanks
00:13:59.180 to you guys at home. Listening, Albertan says, thank you for your hard work. Well, you know
00:14:04.120 what? I'll rest on the 20, let's say the 21st of October. I'll probably have something else to do
00:14:10.560 on the 21st. I always say I'll rest when this latest project is done or I'll rest when this
00:14:15.560 campaign is done but man we're in the news there's no rest absolutely none john douglas q8s says very
00:14:24.060 good news sheila yeah i was i walked in with trepidation into that courtroom i thought they're
00:14:30.180 not even gonna think that there are grounds to hear this but he seen the judge seemed to think
00:14:34.600 there was grounds for us to write to the associate chief justice and so we did so hopefully the
00:14:41.300 associate chief justice sees the urgency of this matter and hears it i stand my ground great job
00:14:48.920 thanks sheila and your lawyer also yes lawyers work very hard a lot of people working in the
00:14:55.200 background to get those affidavits out the door compile the evidence when we first started this
00:15:02.920 project over a month ago almost a month and a half ago we sent a complaint to elections alberta
00:15:10.740 the elections commissioner and our complaint had like 270 plus pages of evidence. Now it's 360 plus
00:15:18.580 pages of evidence that the problem just keeps compiling and nobody seems to be doing anything
00:15:24.600 about it. Now we've got Thomas Lukasik hugging Mark Carney.
00:15:40.740 Anyways, I just want to know where the money's coming from.
00:16:04.800 Don't you?
00:16:05.220 uh richard wm5lv says thank you so much for standing up for all of us you know
00:16:18.300 again someone's got to and as i said we're made for fighting but i think
00:16:25.280 you know what else can we do
00:16:29.220 we want the game to be fair but it isn't if the referee isn't even watching the game
00:16:38.880 you know when one side's playing by the rules and then the referee is looking at the sky or
00:16:43.760 tying his shoes when the other side is making a play
00:16:48.200 steve larson rx6 ek that forever canada guys playing games he has no idea how serious we're
00:16:57.560 getting well you know we're we are serious but you know we're trying to do everything right we're
00:17:05.560 following all the legal processes even though the other side isn't we're trying to get this in front
00:17:10.560 of a judge um no matter what happens on referendum day i can at least put my head on the pillow
00:17:18.800 for the 45 minutes of sleep i'll probably get that day and say i did everything i possibly could
00:17:27.520 to make sure that this came out fairly. All right, next story. My friend, Lise Merle,
00:17:38.040 is defending the rights of women and girls, specifically schoolgirls in Lampman, Saskatchewan,
00:17:45.660 trying to get answers from the school where girls are being exposed to a trans-identifying
00:17:56.240 male student in their washrooms and change rooms to the point where the girls feel uncomfortable
00:18:02.960 going to school all together. Watch this. So school division, see if they have an update for 0.58
00:18:10.980 us. Status update. Nobody? Oh, should our provincial government be protecting girls in
00:18:23.200 schools they should be the ones that are caring about it the most they should be the ones they 0.55
00:18:28.340 should be the ones out here they should be the ones we're not done until we find out why aren't
00:18:35.140 you doing this no men and women's spaces period thank you very simple very simple that's common
00:18:41.640 sense right hey everybody we're here at the southeast cornerstone public school division
00:18:48.360 number 209, because they haven't responded to a letter, a legal demand sent by our friend
00:18:54.860 Tawny Johnson of Lampman, Saskatchewan, in 63 days.
00:19:00.560 So we're gathered here today with a group of concerned women and girls who are asserting
00:19:05.120 their rights to sex-segregated spaces in schools, and we're going to mosey in there a little
00:19:10.560 bit later and see what they have to say for themselves, but for right now, we're talking
00:19:13.680 to who's important, and that is the women and girls.
00:19:16.820 where are we at now in this story well school starts in a week and we haven't heard from them
00:19:24.680 so we are reminding them that we are still here and we're still waiting an answer why are we here
00:19:30.160 today um we're here just advocating for the younger girls that are going through this um
00:19:36.720 but it's also spreading awareness and um kind of letting the people know in there that it's
00:19:44.180 affecting us. It's affecting more than just Lattman, and it's us doing something about it.
00:19:52.040 Taking action. Yes. Has there been any word from the school? Nothing. Not a peep. It was summer,
00:19:59.300 but in this instance, I think that would be cause for an emergency meeting. You would think. So
00:20:05.840 their regular school division meetings have just, well, they pause over summertime, right? Because
00:20:10.740 they take it's education and nobody works in summary and education they can't possibly bother
00:20:16.100 themselves to deal with such a pressing issue but they but they haven't responded at all i mean a
00:20:21.300 letter is not that hard to respond to even to say we're getting expert advice and we're going to get
00:20:27.560 back to you some kind of communication would have been suffice we wouldn't be here if we had a little 0.93
00:20:33.800 bit of communication other little girls will be impacted and you're here to sort of sort of speak
00:20:39.020 for them yeah yeah it's knowing what's right and what's wrong i remember in the last interview
00:20:44.380 regan she said that they're gonna think it's normal they're gonna think what's happening is
00:20:48.800 normal they're gonna grow up thinking but us we know it's not so it's almost our job to let them
00:20:54.640 know that it's it ends here it's not it's not continuing what brought us to this point tawny
00:20:59.380 we've had it and there are children that are quite upset about the coming school year and we can't
00:21:09.020 settle them until we know how is this going to play out because that will dictate what the next
00:21:15.160 step will be do we need a petition to go to the provincial government in order to get this
00:21:20.660 installed because we know there is this provision now section 12-2 let's enact it that's right
00:21:27.500 it's a solution to the problem yeah should our provincial government be protecting girls in
00:21:33.840 schools they should be the ones that are caring about it the most they should be the ones
00:21:38.320 they should be the ones out here they should be the ones yeah like it's it shouldn't be us having
00:21:46.100 to educate them it's like it shouldn't be us having to do this in the first place it's them
00:21:52.300 they should already know that it's wrong like it's it's not it's it's wrong yeah it's wrong
00:21:58.240 yeah uh what do you hope to happen after today tawny well okay so for our instance for the
00:22:06.160 Lampman School. Yes, our situation is gone. But what about the other school divisions,
00:22:14.160 the other schools in our division that are K-12? Will there be copycats? This isn't an isolated
00:22:21.080 incident that we know of. It is happening in this province. So if they enacted this,
00:22:26.960 it would affect the entire province. That's right. Well, it would protect all of the girls
00:22:32.140 in the province. Exactly. So we're not done until we find out why aren't you doing this. That's
00:22:38.960 right. So school division, see if they have an update for us. Status update on the 66 day old
00:22:45.640 legal demand that was sent over here by Alison Pajovic and Tawny Johnson of Lampman, Saskatchewan.
00:22:54.240 Now it seems to me that a school division as large and important as this one would be able to answer
00:22:59.720 an email within 66 days, but we're going to see what they have to say in any case.
00:23:06.160 Visit transmadness.com to learn the truth about radical gender and how it disproportionately
00:23:11.540 affects girls and women. Thanks. I'm Lise Merle with Travel News, wondering if there's somebody
00:23:16.760 available that could talk to us about what was happening in Lampman earlier this year.
00:23:24.800 There is no one.
00:23:26.360 Nobody?
00:23:28.360 Not only.
00:23:30.360 Oh, okay.
00:23:32.360 Because they're waiting, like, it's been 66 days since the legal demand.
00:23:37.360 Oh, there's a boy in the girls' change room, and all the girls revolted in Lampman,
00:23:41.360 and the school division is not upholding.
00:23:43.360 They're outside, the girls.
00:23:45.360 This impacted them really, really terribly for a year.
00:23:49.360 So, nobody here?
00:23:53.360 here hi who are you hi Aaron what's your role I'm Lisa Merle from Rebel News nice to meet you
00:24:03.160 yeah Aaron what's your role here deputy director of education okay Aaron um 66 days ago you guys
00:24:09.820 received a legal demand from a lawyer named Alison Pajovic about upholding the rights of
00:24:15.820 girls in your school division um what is what is the timeline on responding to that
00:24:22.520 66 days Aaron I believe that our legal representatives have reached out and are
00:24:29.960 in conversation they have not they have not there's been no response I didn't was not aware
00:24:34.220 of that you weren't oh okay yeah no they have not received a response at all I will check in there 0.95
00:24:41.740 because I believe that they that they had okay there's a whole bunch of women outside I'm not 1.00
00:24:46.840 sure if you've seen them um those are moms and girls of of people that go to your school to 1.00
00:24:52.960 students in your school divisions and they're real concerned that your policy that prioritizes
00:24:57.940 gender over biological sex is still going to impact girls coming up in this next school year
00:25:02.580 i'm not at liberty to talk about that um about the safety of girls in your schools um privacy
00:25:09.640 implications with our the situation that uh is currently happening we're not talking about
00:25:15.500 anybody else. We're talking about those girls. And I'm going to have to ask you to leave. Thank you very much for your time today. Oh, that's it, eh? You got nothing else for those girls, Erin? They're avoiding the bathrooms. They're not coming to school. They're leaving the school. That's all I have to say today. Thank you. Okay. Thanks, Erin. You're a good guy. Thanks very much. Do you need any water or anything? No, we need the boys out of the girls' rooms, though. Well, that was an interesting conversation because he said that his lawyers have responded to Tawny and they have
00:25:45.320 not there's been no action 66 days without a response and uh that's what the southeast
00:25:51.980 cornerstone school division had to say for itself not much seems that they don't care about the
00:25:56.360 safety and wellness and dignity of their female students because they're not doing nothing and
00:26:02.760 have nothing to say so they said that they responded and i said they have not they the
00:26:10.580 lawyer has not heard from your lawyers and he goes oh i was under the impression that they had
00:26:16.140 no and i said well what are you going to do for the girls and he like obfuscated around it and
00:26:20.680 then invited me to leave really nice and we shook hands and it was fine but we're going to show the
00:26:25.400 whole world what that guy had to say hi oh but you work for a public institution ma'am so your
00:26:36.940 anonymity is of none of my concern anyway have a good day you heard what the southeast cornerstone
00:26:43.420 school division just said they said they replied but then they wouldn't commit to me what they were
00:26:47.100 doing to protect girls either and school is in one week that's what i said the women and girls
00:26:53.080 are outside you could go talk to them i mean this doesn't is not really interested in hearing from
00:26:58.860 us so we'll do it in other ways we have our ways to talk to the school division into government in
00:27:04.340 this province. It's called the Rebel News, and we're happy to do just that. So stay tuned,
00:27:08.400 everybody. We're going to see how this unravels. All right. Lise is like a dog with a bone on this
00:27:14.000 story. She will not rest until those girls feel comfortable in female-only spaces. 1.00
00:27:20.880 So let's go into your comments. Jen B, 1891, stay the course, Lise. Those girls are fortunate to
00:27:28.140 have you in their corner, aren't they? Aren't they? I feel that way every day. Find yourself 1.00
00:27:34.240 a best friend like lise merle she will smite your enemies before you ever have to before you even
00:27:41.120 know their enemies she smited them um and this is such an issue that's so important to her
00:27:47.440 jocelyn chateauneuf 3184 bless you and your work john gambini j9o says love you guys keep fighting
00:27:58.740 for this. I contacted CJME. That's the local news morning show about the naked sicko at the
00:28:05.860 Sandra Schmurler. And he had no idea about it. Now that is another story that Lisa is working on.
00:28:11.720 There's a guy that goes to the Sandra Schmurler pool and he just goes in, changes in front of
00:28:20.760 the women and then leaves. He doesn't go swimming. He doesn't do anything. He just goes in, changes
00:28:27.200 and leaves now police are investigating according to cjme they had no idea about it he said he would
00:28:36.280 text the mayor about it he did the mayor said he would ask the regina police service about it they
00:28:41.660 said the indecent exposure charges might happen i have a daughter and a wife that must be protected
00:28:46.740 this is absolute madness and beyond sick i could go on least was on that story from the very beginning
00:28:51.860 she got a tip from women who had experienced this and then she got all up in the pool's face
00:29:00.300 and then she contacted the police lice had that story from beginning to end it's nice to see that
00:29:05.560 cjme is coming out of its slumber to catch up to her and i suppose more people that know the better
00:29:12.600 but do you think that cjme will credit lice for her hard work and bravery here are they just
00:29:18.680 going to come up and finally talk about it after lease ripped the band-aid off and gave voice to
00:29:26.400 the women who had experienced this you imagine some guy because of the rules around gender mixed
00:29:35.980 bathrooms was just and this isn't even gender mixed this is a guy abusing the fact that these 0.64
00:29:44.280 municipalities have lost their ever-loving marbles, letting trans-identified individuals 0.59
00:29:50.320 into the bathroom of their choice or change room of their choice. And he's using it to get his 1.00
00:29:54.560 rocks off. He just goes in there, changes in front of everybody, wiggles his wiener around and leaves.
00:30:01.920 God, it's almost like, it's almost like this is exactly what everybody warned them would happen.
00:30:08.220 Dig in deep, says Talese, love your energy. I wish we had more rebel reporters on the East Coast.
00:30:13.000 keep up the good fight uh yeah me too i love her energy and i wish we did have reporters on the east
00:30:19.360 coast it's just it's not in the cards right now lauren grodnick 5993 says protect your young
00:30:28.640 girls it's hard it's hard when you've got municipalities letting weirdos into the pool
00:30:33.440 daryl robinson says keep fighting these weak-minded shills will be exposed and tossed out
00:30:42.420 You'd think.
00:30:44.440 You'd think, but nobody ever seems to get fired over this stuff.
00:30:49.720 Michael Frobus says, yes, absolutely, 100%.
00:30:52.900 And Kim Young says, Kim Young 5273 says, nice work, Lise.
00:30:58.840 Keep fighting for the girls. 1.00
00:31:00.180 Oh, you know she will.
00:31:01.700 You know she will. 1.00
00:31:03.260 She's a mama bear with six kids of her own.
00:31:08.400 All right. 0.68
00:31:09.500 Next story.
00:31:12.420 September 10th was the one-year anniversary of a horrifying day, I think, for anybody who believes in open civil discourse.
00:31:25.100 By that, I mean the public execution of Charlie Kirk in Utah at the hands of a radical left-wing activist with a furry boyfriend.
00:31:39.300 and when you know it the left in Vancouver remains some of the worst left on the continent
00:31:48.420 the vigil for Charlie Kirk planned by a 13 year old was taken over or at least attempted to be
00:31:55.800 shouted down by residential school activists Antifa adjacent types and just your general
00:32:06.820 NDP gross people and the gender wang crowd. Watch this. 1.00
00:32:16.640 This is a culture of death that they support. The left is naturally very violent. They stomped my
00:32:23.740 phone. A lot of people are uneducated about who Charlie Kirk was, right? Honoring someone's life
00:32:30.600 and I don't know what they have against that. 0.98
00:32:36.820 Charlie Kirk was being racist in a bunch of the s**t he said. 0.87
00:32:41.000 Our side is the humanity side. 0.93
00:32:42.960 And it's so important to be able to just speak freely.
00:32:47.320 Drea Humphrey here with Rebel News on September 10th, 2026.
00:32:51.880 And what should be a peaceful vigil for Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated a year ago, brutally, publicly, in front of youth nonetheless,
00:33:03.480 has been invaded by unmarked grave activists.
00:33:08.720 Scratch that unproven, 215 unmarked grave activists
00:33:13.940 who have decided to falsely label this vigil
00:33:18.080 an act of residential school denialism,
00:33:21.820 even lying, saying that myself is the one
00:33:25.880 who has been promoting and organizing it.
00:33:28.600 A memorial for Charlie Kirk is being planned,
00:33:31.500 promoted by none other than Drea Humphrey.
00:33:33.960 We're going to give you both sides of the story safely, of course.
00:33:38.260 We're going to show you what the protesters are doing,
00:33:40.960 and I've got bodyguards here to keep me and Julia safe as we do that.
00:33:44.820 So please, if you haven't already, go to journalistdefencefund.com
00:33:48.300 to help chip in for our expenses.
00:33:50.860 They're expensive.
00:33:52.040 And we're actually going to show you what was meant to be.
00:33:55.340 The vigil who is brought to Vancouverites at the Vancouver Art Gallery
00:33:59.960 by a 13-year-old teenager who's been inspired by Kirk,
00:34:04.860 but in this country, for some reason,
00:34:07.140 can't even host a vigil without protest.
00:34:18.800 Daniel, you put on this vigil for Charlie Kirk.
00:34:22.400 Why was it important to do so?
00:34:23.840 I think it was important because I think Charlie was a great man
00:34:27.760 who actively talked about God and the way that God wants you to live your life.
00:34:35.420 Why was it important to team up with the young Daniel on organizing this vigil for Charlie Kirk?
00:34:41.300 Daniel has been an amazing spark in this whole movement, I've found.
00:34:45.480 His spirit has encouraged so many of us and brought ambition back into our political movements.
00:34:51.960 We Are Charlie means everyone who believes in freedom, everyone who believes in kindness,
00:34:56.600 everyone who believes in an open dialogue that's why it's important to be
00:35:02.360 here today I'm an Iranian Canadian Christian so like as a Christian it was
00:35:08.000 my responsibility to be here and keep the flame alive everyone is against what
00:35:13.100 everyone else wants to say and it's so important to be able to just speak
00:35:16.640 freely and sit down have a conversation about it because I mean it doesn't
00:35:20.540 happen anymore and that was Charlie I think the biggest piece that I've got
00:35:24.500 from him was he just spoke freely a lot of people are going to come here to show their hatred for
00:35:29.220 a person just for speaking his views it's important to come out to just show that he had a right to
00:35:33.300 speak his opinion right he had a right to free speech and it's good to come out here to show
00:35:37.700 you know we have a right and we should use it too and no one should be shot for having an opinion
00:35:43.300 unlike the reaction to the death of george floyd five years earlier there were no riots in the
00:35:48.660 streets no carnage no looting no burning of cars and buildings instead there was respectful mourning
00:36:00.340 it's crazy with the counter protesters i'm not a nazi now unsurprisingly just like the people
00:36:06.900 mocking kirk's death online there's some people doing just vile disgusting things here including 0.84
00:36:13.220 a group of people singing that charlie kirk is better off dead
00:36:25.300 one of the reasons i'm not actually going to do what i normally do today and try to
00:36:29.620 actually talk to the other side is that i have personally been receiving death threats threats
00:36:35.780 to my family actual racism and hate like the left likes to complain about you can take a look at
00:36:42.580 just a few i try not to actually look at all of them because i have better things to do with my
00:36:47.300 life like talk to you guys canada is reveling in ghoulishness we are trying to become a nature of 0.68
00:36:52.660 ghoul a nation of ghouls and so the idea of celebrating the murder of a family man
00:37:00.820 that is something that these people are dialed into because this is a culture of death that they 0.97
00:37:06.660 support and we are here witnessing in support of a culture of life of course they won't let us have
00:37:14.340 a free speech they're clapping and they're chanting and they're not letting us speak
00:37:17.940 instead of discussion all they want to do is they want to diss they want to cuss us and they want to
00:37:21.860 shun us charlie kirk was a brother in christ clark was one of us right and because he stood for the
00:37:27.620 lord jesus christ because he stood against the darkness of this world he was taken out and so
00:37:32.820 So we're here to stand here and remember him.
00:37:34.980 If we can't agree that racism is bad,
00:37:36.680 which Charlie Kirk was being racist
00:37:38.560 in a bunch of the he said, what are we doing?
00:37:41.140 If our goal was a colorblind society,
00:37:43.760 then DEI hire, if you're hiring 40% of the workers
00:37:47.620 just because they're black, that is inherently racist.
00:37:50.040 I will say this side seems a bit more radicalized, 0.89
00:37:55.280 which is interesting,
00:37:56.380 because they probably think the same about this side.
00:37:58.700 And as a black lady, how do you feel about that quote?
00:38:01.160 He straight up says, he's worried when he sees a black pilot.
00:38:04.180 But this makes me think this way. 0.89
00:38:05.960 And I stand completely by that statement.
00:38:07.700 Okay.
00:38:07.960 Secondly, let me just finish.
00:38:09.720 DEI, an affirmative action, what it does is it lowers the merit,
00:38:13.120 it lowers the threshold of standards and increases things that do not matter,
00:38:17.420 such as skin color and ethnic background.
00:38:20.500 So that is what I said.
00:38:21.480 Isn't that worry you as a black person?
00:38:23.420 I think that it's, that's not exactly what he said.
00:38:26.080 First of all, we'll show the clip.
00:38:27.540 But I understand where you're coming from.
00:38:29.080 But that's how many people in society feel when somebody is getting hired based on their skin color instead of their merit.
00:38:36.240 So I'm going to finish answering your question, then you can talk.
00:38:39.540 I believe in equal treatment.
00:38:41.480 I think I should be treated like anyone else.
00:38:43.480 And when you start treating me differently, it's at that point that you make me another.
00:38:49.020 And the message going around that because of my skin, I can't achieve the same thing everybody else's.
00:38:54.240 I can't work my way to be a pilot and I need extra things.
00:38:57.500 That is a limited belief that I don't want you to adopt it. 0.73
00:39:01.920 He was the one who, no, he was saying that he's worried when he sees a black pilot.
00:39:06.020 He thinks you got hired because of those things.
00:39:08.820 All right, let me tell you exactly what I said, okay?
00:39:10.780 So this was in response, first and foremost, to United Airlines saying that half of all
00:39:14.900 their new pilots that they're going to hire are going to be women or people of color.
00:39:18.600 Currently, they're 15%. 0.96
00:39:19.900 So they want to go from 15% to 50%.
00:39:22.620 A conversation that ensued about how every time affirmative action is employed, standards have to be lowered.
00:39:28.680 There's not a single instance where that does not occur. 0.58
00:39:31.100 So then I said, I said, boy, if I see a black pilot, I'm now going to wonder, is that individual qualified? 1.00
00:39:37.220 Were they selected because of their race? 1.00
00:39:39.400 Comma, but that's not who I am.
00:39:41.140 But this makes me think this way.
00:39:42.920 Let them protest all they want.
00:39:44.180 That's their right.
00:39:44.840 But we're here to send a stronger message that we are honoring someone's life.
00:39:51.840 And I don't know what they have against that.
00:39:57.640 I think there's more protesters here.
00:40:00.220 I think, as you're quite aware, we live in a very liberal province that's almost to the socialist degree now.
00:40:08.320 So there's a lot of activists as a relation to what I would say is these NGOs, all this money being given to people in universities to sort of fight for something.
00:40:18.680 They don't even know.
00:40:19.420 Most of the people over there are very young.
00:40:21.840 They're from university. 1.00
00:40:23.340 F*** you and stay away from children, you pedophile mother f***er! 1.00
00:40:27.520 Stay away from children! 1.00
00:40:29.920 Stay the f*** away from kids! 1.00
00:40:40.080 Totally normal. 0.99
00:40:41.460 Hey, Drea, what does your shirt say?
00:40:43.380 It says conservative lives matter.
00:40:46.620 Conservatives should be able to express their opinions without being killed for doing so.
00:40:52.800 And they should be able to grieve another conservative without being protested.
00:40:57.940 You can also find this hat at rebelnewsstore.com.
00:41:03.760 Somewhere in the middle is like where the truth is.
00:41:07.320 And this like left and right stuff, back and forth, is just like a distraction to what's actually going on.
00:41:15.060 Charlie Kirk was obviously a very monumental figure.
00:41:17.660 As you can see, he brought out all kinds of sides and all opinions.
00:41:23.520 But he stood for love, and he stood for strength and truth, and he stood for God.
00:41:28.320 And those are all very important values to me, too, and obviously to a lot of people here.
00:41:32.300 You didn't back down, even though you saw some of the same comments I saw, like, you should be Charlie Kirk'd.
00:41:39.940 What is it that made you still hold your ground?
00:41:42.680 and was there ever a time where you're like oh like this could get really ugly yeah i was thinking
00:41:47.720 about that and um i'd say we have to stand up we have to continue our fights and we have to stay
00:41:54.520 strong is there anything in you guys before you came here that crossed your mind a little bit of
00:41:59.640 fear almost for your own safety a little bit i'm gonna be honest i thought you know there might be
00:42:04.600 a little bit of violence from from you know counter protesters here but i guess i'm glad
00:42:09.560 there hasn't been any so far i will give a shout out to the vancouver police they've done a great
00:42:15.160 job at keeping a barrier between the vigil attendees and the radical leftists protesting 0.62
00:42:24.200 a vigil i just wanted to see what was happening because this seems like a garbage event
00:42:28.840 okay and what about it well because charlie kirk's american yeah we're in canada okay so
00:42:36.600 So why do you think some of them are gathering to remember him then?
00:42:41.820 Probably the racism.
00:42:45.740 On one side, I saw Iranian flags.
00:42:49.400 I saw Canadian flags.
00:42:51.080 I saw Israel's flag. 0.84
00:42:52.540 And on the other side, I see Every Child Matter flags and pro-Palestine. 0.91
00:42:59.000 What do you make of that? 0.53
00:43:00.520 I'm talking behalf of our side, I would say.
00:43:03.900 Our side is the humanity side.
00:43:05.940 Our side is patriotism side.
00:43:08.320 So if that's going to include every child's matter, I don't know.
00:43:13.040 But we don't have any problem with them.
00:43:15.340 I guess they have a problem with us.
00:43:17.180 One of the things I'd like to know is up there they have the three arrows flag,
00:43:20.860 which is a common anti-fascist flag they like to use.
00:43:24.420 I wonder what they would respond to if they got told that one of those arrows actually is supposed to mean anti-communism.
00:43:31.080 It's like a cognitive dissonance that's happening if you actually think that what these people are saying is love is stronger than hate.
00:43:37.380 But their love, it only applies to those who agree with them.
00:43:41.000 Are you surprised to see people come out against it?
00:43:43.660 No. I was expecting that.
00:43:47.880 Why is everything that the left believes wrong? How is that possible? How can they have every issue wrong?
00:43:54.180 We love everybody. We even said prayers over our protesters today.
00:43:57.860 This isn't we're we're not the ones that are hating anyone on our side
00:44:14.680 My god, I love every news. Okay, please please please so sorry I'm amped up right now
00:44:19.780 Basically what happened is I'm going here independent journalism, right? I'm going around talking to everybody and
00:44:24.940 And I talked to most people I'm trying to talk to some of these people and immediately because I saw the Palestinian flag
00:44:31.060 Right. I don't like how the Jews are killing kids in Gaza and whatnot 0.94
00:44:34.700 So I want to go here hear the sign talk to them, right? I come over 1.00
00:44:38.020 I have all the footage on my phone before it got broken. My phone's broken. They come over to me
00:44:42.120 They're putting signs my faces. They're trying to get right in my face trying to get me
00:44:46.320 I'm doing something right now. Please leave me alone. I'm trying to talk to them
00:44:50.960 and they're just putting their phones in my face,
00:44:54.980 newspapers in my face,
00:44:55.960 and then I leave, right,
00:44:57.800 because I leave.
00:44:59.040 I come around here to go around
00:45:00.460 because I'm trying to get across through here.
00:45:02.360 I'm not trying to talk to them anymore.
00:45:03.740 I'm trying to go through behind here.
00:45:05.300 Out of nowhere, some masked-up liberal
00:45:07.180 with a face mask on here.
00:45:09.840 Well, this guy right here, he's getting violent too.
00:45:11.320 He's friends with the person who's talking to me.
00:45:13.320 The guy in a mask, a toucan glasses?
00:45:15.980 Go figure.
00:45:16.740 Yeah, yeah, exactly, right?
00:45:18.000 So he had a friend who was a girl,
00:45:20.060 and just shoved me to the ground, stomped, my phone's broken.
00:45:23.820 They stomped my phone and they pushed me.
00:45:25.880 I told the police, the police didn't do nothing.
00:45:27.300 This is right here, this is right behind here.
00:45:28.920 Now these people here are confused and lost
00:45:31.680 and they just want to, like I said,
00:45:35.360 they just want to believe the lies, right?
00:45:37.340 And these people believe a lot of lies
00:45:39.180 and that's what Charlie Kirk liked to do
00:45:40.420 is he liked to challenge the lies
00:45:41.840 and they're stopping from happening, right?
00:45:44.700 Because I watched my Facebook,
00:45:46.460 my old progressive Facebook friends' pages light up.
00:45:49.260 They were so, they were thrilled to see an innocent, non-violent family man gunned down.
00:45:56.480 Something had happened to their emotions.
00:45:58.940 Something had taken them.
00:46:00.640 And that is what we're seeing today.
00:46:02.260 Something has taken those people.
00:46:04.680 All right, there you have it.
00:46:06.160 A memorial for the great and late Charlie Kirk.
00:46:10.020 I'm Drea Humphrey with Rebel News.
00:46:13.520 So let's get into your comments.
00:46:15.340 Were you as revolted by that spectacle as I was?
00:46:19.260 I bet you were. Menon Bectourne says, these protesters, whatever their cause may be,
00:46:26.320 are just like children. They behave like toddlers. Almost all their causes are lies,
00:46:30.320 false ideologies, or dangerous plans. Yet no good comes from their side, whether it is accusing
00:46:37.500 people unfairly of genocide, accusing people of hate crimes, or simply saying,
00:46:44.140 maybe we shouldn't trans the kids, or thinking that a public execution
00:46:53.280 is a reasonable and justified response to somebody you disagree with. 0.98
00:47:00.760 What good has their ideology ever wrought in the world? It's a big goose egg.
00:47:08.480 brett k3s keep in mind that this is all funded and organized ask the real questions to find the 0.83
00:47:15.000 truth behind the chaos well some of these people are just bad actors just generally bad actors but
00:47:20.100 you know we do know that these radical gender organizations do receive funding from the
00:47:25.160 canadian government um their litigation is frequently funded by the canadian government
00:47:30.000 you know egal funds all their bizarre litigations and egal gets an enormous amount of money from 0.98
00:47:37.100 the federal government you know igal sues the provinces who try to keep the trans weirdness 0.84
00:47:43.200 out of the classroom and that's because the federal government can't sue the provinces so 0.66
00:47:49.260 they give the money to their little proxy group and then the proxy group sues the provinces on
00:47:53.440 their behalf it's how they meddle in provincial politics and of course we know the indigenous
00:47:58.900 activists uh they got a ton of money for unmarked graves and so to keep getting that money
00:48:06.360 you you can never prove that the graves aren't there 0.79
00:48:10.480 okay roboco says vancouver is such an embarrassment i was born here i hate it toxic
00:48:19.100 it should on paper be one of the most beautiful cities in the world right until you look around
00:48:26.800 you know the the ocean is there the mountains are there it's where nature meets civilization
00:48:34.940 And yet the worst of society is all around you. The radical leftism, the urban chaos, the anti-car activism, the climate activism, the anti-having a house and owning something and being happy. It's all there.
00:48:54.420 The Antifa activism, the anti-free speech activism, the gender wangening, it's all there. 0.98
00:49:02.700 It should be a beautiful place and it's a nightmare. 1.00
00:49:09.640 Broadcast 477 says, name and shame every one of those little creeps.
00:49:14.660 Well, it's hard.
00:49:15.980 A lot of them wear masks and a lot of them actually don't care if you know who they are.
00:49:22.640 They're proud of what they're doing. 0.91
00:49:24.420 A bunch of creeps. You're right when you call them little creeps. Some of them aren't so little, though. And they are dangerous. You know, we have to send Drea with multiple security to that thing. They would love to get their hands on her. And we know that they're perfectly okay with hurting and or murdering somebody they disagree with politically.
00:49:46.760 razier says this is what the mainstream left represents they are the biggest proponents of
00:49:56.460 political violence yeah there was a study not all that long ago that showed that political
00:50:04.120 violence is coming specifically from the left and of course it is how many times have they tried to
00:50:12.380 murder President Trump? Three? Am I missing one? It could be. They murdered Charlie Kirk right in
00:50:21.360 front of us. They're attacking our journalists all over the place. Of course, it's always from
00:50:31.400 the left. And why? If you can't solve an argument with words because your ideas are bad, maybe your
00:50:41.840 ideas are just bad. Maybe you need to change your mind, but instead of changing their mind and
00:50:46.220 admitting they were wrong, they think it's okay to quite literally kill you. What a time we live in. 0.89
00:50:59.540 BF2736. So many Palestinian flags. Enemies of the state should be banned from protesting in this 0.99
00:51:04.740 case, particularly because they have, they hate the fallen patriot and their own country.
00:51:10.100 I'm like, I'm not one to ban flags. You know, if you want to personally have it, I don't think that we should be putting other flags on municipal or federal or provincial facilities. You want to hang a flag. Hang your freak flag as you will. What business is it of mine?
00:51:32.440 but i will remark that uh nary a canadian flag in sight on that side right
00:51:40.480 but that's the state of their side they're anti-canadian they hate this country like
00:51:51.740 it's no secret i'm someone who is a proponent of western independence but that is not to say that
00:51:59.080 I hate Canada. These people genuinely hate Canada. They think it's a genocidal state.
00:52:09.780 And yet they are the same people who would tell me that I must stay inside of it
00:52:15.580 instead of seeking a better way forward. That it's just the disconnect is
00:52:23.140 hypocritical to say the least all right well everybody that's the show for tonight thank
00:52:31.320 you so much for tuning in and bearing with me as i struggle through my schedule um i do have to get
00:52:38.160 back into this commission hearing um i'll see everybody back here in the same time in the same
00:52:43.160 place next week and as always don't let the government tell you that you've had too much to
00:52:48.200 think.
