Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey - Ep 1078 ｜ Will Ferrell Transitions Into Irrelevance

00:00:00.000 Two gay male flamingos are apparently raising a chick at the San Diego Zoo.

00:00:07.640 This strange story surprisingly tells us a lot about where we are in the human world

00:00:14.980 and what we actually think about children and the family.

00:00:20.180 Also, Will Ferrell's got a documentary on Netflix about his so-called transgender friend,

00:00:27.640 and Gavin Newsom is coming out with a horrifying new piece of legislation regarding IVF and same-sex couples.

00:00:38.220 We've got all of that on today's episode of Relatable.

00:00:40.880 It's brought to you by CrowdHealth.

00:00:42.740 Go to joincrowdhealth.com slash Allie.

00:00:45.360 That's joincrowdhealth.com slash Allie.

00:00:47.700 Hey guys, welcome to Relatable.

00:00:58.920 Happy Thursday.

00:01:00.060 Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far.

00:01:02.440 Before we get into our stories today,

00:01:04.840 hopefully a little more lighthearted than what we have needed to discuss over the past couple days.

00:01:10.780 It'll be a shorter episode than the last couple days,

00:01:13.680 which have been like these mega hour and a half almost long episodes.

00:01:17.460 But that's because there is so much to cover.

00:01:21.060 Before we get into today's episodes though and today's stories,

00:01:25.340 I do want to tell you about our awesome merch, our Jesus Wins merch.

00:01:31.000 Look how cool this hat is.

00:01:32.320 It's stitched on there, really high quality.

00:01:34.340 Jesus Wins. 0.89

00:01:35.440 Got the little relatable hit on the back.

00:01:38.420 And you can go to AllieMerch.com.

00:01:41.280 You can use code Allie10 for 10% off.

00:01:43.980 But we've got crew necks, we've got hoodies, and we've got these awesome hats.

00:01:49.000 We've also got, this is the rope hat style, but we've got the dad hat style too.

00:01:53.220 They're just really high quality items.

00:01:55.820 And I've been wanting this message on merchandise for a while.

00:02:00.380 It's just a reminder.

00:02:01.640 This is our Father's world.

00:02:03.400 Jesus wins in the end.

00:02:04.880 His eternal plan of redemption is always going off without a hitch.

00:02:07.860 It's not meant to say, be apathetic because Jesus is coming back.

00:02:12.220 It's meant to say, ultimately, he wins in the end.

00:02:16.180 And so our attitude is always one of victory.

00:02:18.820 It's always one of gratitude.

00:02:20.120 It's always one of joy, just as the Christian attitude has been for the past 2,000 years.

00:02:25.960 We understand that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church.

00:02:28.880 No matter what kind of chaos and disorder we see outside of our window or we see on social media,

00:02:34.200 we know that God is in charge.

00:02:36.480 He's not surprised or taken aback by anything.

00:02:39.140 And so even as we are navigating these very turbulent waters of our times,

00:02:44.320 we can be in perfect peace because we worship the God who commands the waves,

00:02:51.240 who calms the storms.

00:02:52.900 And so these items are just a reminder of that.

00:02:55.780 So you can go to AllieMerch.com, get your hat, get your items.

00:02:59.680 It's almost Christmas season, too.

00:03:01.180 So you should probably start thinking about what Allie merch you're going to be getting,

00:03:05.200 the Related Gal in your life.

00:03:06.860 And I even saw Related Bro post a picture with this because it is gender neutral.

00:03:12.340 So we've got items for our Related Bros, too, and hopefully more to come.

00:03:16.880 Anyway, we've got to talk about this very important story that we have been trying to talk about for a while.

00:03:22.640 We've been trying to fit it into an episode and just haven't been able to because we've got Iran,

00:03:29.360 we've got Israel, we've got debates. 0.75

00:03:31.780 And yet maybe perhaps the most pressing story of the day is that two gay flamingos are raising a child together. 0.99

00:03:40.460 Yes, you heard that correctly.

00:03:42.540 I just wanted to take a pause there for you to just take that all in.

00:03:45.480 Okay.

00:03:46.080 This is being reported by Fox 5.

00:03:48.840 This is actually an important story just because of what we're going to draw from it, 0.66

00:03:54.280 even if it sounds a little bit silly.

00:03:56.020 But this is where we are as a world, okay?

00:03:58.800 According to Fox 5, last month, Fox 5 San Diego reported on a pair of male flamingos at the San Diego Zoo.

00:04:05.940 Of course it's San Diego.

00:04:07.140 Of course it's California.

00:04:08.380 Like, you're not seeing this. 0.99

00:04:09.580 It's not like, oh, two gay flamingos outside of Birmingham. 0.98

00:04:13.820 Of course not. 0.98

00:04:14.820 No one's like, oh, the gay flamingos in, you know, West Virginia. 1.00

00:04:21.420 No, of course this is happening in California.

00:04:25.880 San Diego Zoo Safari Park, who they claim are a same-sex couple,

00:04:31.240 having successfully welcomed a baby chick together.

00:04:34.980 Now, let's just think about this, boys and girls.

00:04:37.680 Now, these are the same people who claim that we need to have comprehensive sex ed

00:04:41.660 and who claim that we should follow the science.

00:04:44.920 They're saying a same-sex flamingo couple.

00:04:47.660 We can just stop right there, right?

00:04:51.520 And Darwin, who, you know, is, I'm guessing, languishing in Hades right now.

00:04:58.180 But if he could roll over in his grave, he would be rolling over in his grave. 0.95

00:05:02.380 Because even Darwin and all of his ignorance and all of the nonsense that he pushed

00:05:07.500 understood the impossibility of something like this.

00:05:13.600 The newly minted dads, Fox 5 said, hatched their chick on August 25th.

00:05:20.380 Now, again, if your mind is just, like, try to read this to anyone outside of the United States.

00:05:27.440 Please, go to Africa, go to China, go to India, go to South Korea and read this to them. 0.83

00:05:36.100 Anyone, the members of our dear silent generation, read this to your grandmother

00:05:42.060 and see if she can understand what is being said.

00:05:47.180 After some time bonding behind the scenes, the family is now out for public viewing at the Escondido Park.

00:05:54.020 So, how in the world did this happen?

00:05:56.100 First of all, how do we have homo flamingos? 1.00

00:05:59.640 How?

00:06:00.620 That's the first question.

00:06:01.860 And then how did they, well, how did they defy biology to welcome a baby flamingo together?

00:06:08.620 That's the big question of the day, right?

00:06:10.600 Well, you're just going to have to wait.

00:06:12.000 You're going to have to hold on to your horses, to your flamingos for just a second,

00:06:16.980 because I got to pause and tell you about our first sponsor for the day.

00:06:20.000 In the midst of all of this craziness and degeneracy that we see in the world, there is a parallel economy

00:06:26.860 that is rising up, and it is competing with these godless organizations and entities that

00:06:34.080 take our money and then fund politicians that hate us and work against everything we're fighting for.

00:06:40.580 And this parallel economy is being led primarily by Christian conservatives, Christian conservatives at businesses like Seven Weeks Coffee.

00:06:50.300 I got to meet the couple that started Seven Weeks Coffee at Share the Arrows.

00:06:54.060 They provided the coffee for Share the Arrows.

00:06:56.760 They are awesome.

00:06:57.680 They're passionate about coffee.

00:06:59.240 They're passionate about godly values, and they're passionate about saving baby lives.

00:07:02.600 So, they've combined all of those passions into this company, Seven Weeks Coffee.

00:07:06.880 It's called Seven Weeks because at Seven Weeks gestation, that baby in the womb is the size of a coffee bean.

00:07:11.960 So, they donate 10% of every sale to a pro-life pregnancy center, and they have donated over $500,000 to pro-life organizations,

00:07:23.020 saving thousands of lives through their donations.

00:07:26.660 It's really incredible, and it's really, really high-quality coffee.

00:07:29.740 It tastes awesome.

00:07:31.140 That's what I prefer in our home.

00:07:32.700 So, if you go to sevenweekscoffee.com and use code ALLY, you'll save an additional 10% on your order in addition to the 15% that you save by subscribing to their Heartbeat Club.

00:07:46.160 Go to sevenweeks.com, code ALLY.

00:07:48.840 Okay, according to the Wildlife Alliance, the two bonded males began sitting on a nest earlier this year,

00:07:59.060 prompting the Safari Park's care specialist to give the couple a fake egg to keep them busy

00:08:05.320 and prevent them from interfering with others' shelters.

00:08:10.760 According to Fox 5, the two immediately began caring for the placebo, alternating brooding responsibilities.

00:08:16.740 After a bit of time, the Wildlife Alliance says specialists swapped out the fake egg for a real one for them to foster.

00:08:24.100 Okay, let's think about what happened here, okay?

00:08:27.180 So, we're hearing that flamingos, that these two male flamingos, defied everything we know about reality to create an egg.

00:08:34.760 That's what the headline was, that they raised a child together.

00:08:37.340 In reality, they stole an egg from this flamingo's actual mother and gave it to these two male flamingos.

00:08:46.040 What does that sound like?

00:08:48.820 Huh, that almost sounds like the egg-selling and surrogacy industry that we have in the human world.

00:08:55.000 Because that's basically what happens.

00:08:57.180 You have two men who buy the DNA, the eggs from one woman, rent the womb of another woman to purposely create a motherless child. 0.95

00:09:08.060 And that is one of the most wicked things in our world today that we not only allow, but actually celebrate and call inclusion and love.

00:09:22.120 And now we are seeing it in the animal kingdom.

00:09:25.360 So, this is what the story goes on to say.

00:09:29.920 Now that it's hatched, the two dads have been caring for the baby chick.

00:09:33.440 Who is like, that baby chick is like, where the heck is my mom? 1.00

00:09:38.140 Where is my mom? 0.74

00:09:39.780 But of course, this poor baby chick can't talk. 1.00

00:09:42.080 Just like human babies, who are wondering the same thing, by the way.

00:09:45.920 Because not only are they missing their genetic mother when they are born via egg-selling and surrogacy, but they're also missing the only woman, the only home that they've ever known that they have physiologically bonded with for nine to ten months inside the womb, knowing her smell, her feeling, her heartbeat.

00:10:04.860 Biologically, babies long for that after they are born.

00:10:09.580 That's why we do skin-to-skin when babies are born. 0.83

00:10:13.140 Because it regulates their body temperature.

00:10:15.680 It regulates their heartbeat.

00:10:17.080 It regulates their breathing.

00:10:18.560 I know this firsthand.

00:10:20.240 I've watched this happen three times now as a mom of three.

00:10:25.080 It's one thing when a mom puts her baby up for adoption and has to give that baby away. 1.00

00:10:31.920 It is another thing to intentionally create that broken motherless situation through surrogacy and through egg-selling.

00:10:43.380 Remember, I know I'm kind of going back and forth between the parallels here, but remember, adoption redeems an already broken situation.

00:10:51.480 That baby has already been created.

00:10:53.080 And egg-selling, sperm-selling surrogacy creates a broken situation because even if you've got a heterosexual couple that's using a surrogate, you are still severing that bond that is meant to be there at birth.

00:11:09.360 And we may never know the full effects of that primal wound.

00:11:12.320 But even more so, even more so is the evil of creating purposely motherless children.

00:11:22.240 I mean, how babies long for their moms, the comfort, the touch, the feel, the stability, the softness of the mother that is so necessary for development, especially in those early years, to purposely rob a child of that is just so selfish.

00:11:40.780 And now this is what humans do because humans, we seek in our sinful flesh, we seek validation and affirmation of our choices.

00:11:49.740 And so, I mean, that's part of what happens in this egg-selling surrogacy process.

00:11:53.500 These men are seeking validation for their choices and affirmation of their choices, which is why a lot of times these kids are gaslit into not verbalizing their want for a mother, their desire to know who their mom is.

00:12:09.920 But the creation of these motherless children and even fatherless children, it's a form of, yes, maybe you really do want to raise these children, but it's also a form of just affirming and validating your choices.

00:12:21.280 And so not only are adults putting that on children, but they are also putting that on animals.

00:12:26.500 They're using what is probably just like normal flamingo behavior, two dude flamingos hanging out.

00:12:33.040 Like, they're probably talking about super, like, dude flamingo stuff.

00:12:38.060 They're probably like, see that chick over there? 1.00

00:12:40.620 Like, she's so hot. 0.99

00:12:42.400 Did you see what happened with fantasy football last night? 0.99

00:12:45.040 They have no idea that the weirdo zookeepers are calling them a bunch of homos, a bunch of fancy flamingos. 1.00

00:12:55.560 They would be so offended if they knew that. 0.94

00:12:57.840 And now they're left with this baby chick and they're like, what do we do? 0.98

00:13:01.740 And everyone's like, oh, these are gay birds. 1.00

00:13:05.880 And they're really not. 0.99

00:13:07.120 But it's just, it's looking for affirmation for your own degenerate choices.

00:13:12.900 And it actually, like, it reminds me of the idolatry, the pagan idolatry that you see throughout

00:13:18.500 history, the worshiping of animals, replacing the worship of the real God, replacing the

00:13:25.680 worship of the creator for worship of the creation in order to justify your most base desires.

00:13:34.020 That's very Romans 1, if you ask me.

00:13:38.400 The article claims that same-sex parenting among flamingos is a well-documented

00:13:42.520 phenomenon, experts say, although it is still relatively rare, I'd say, we wouldn't really

00:13:48.280 have any more animals.

00:13:50.520 However, it is at least the second instance of it in the United States this year.

00:13:56.320 Back in August, a pair of male Chilean flamingos at a Colorado zoo successfully hatch and raise

00:14:01.160 a chick together.

00:14:01.700 They didn't.

00:14:02.320 They didn't hatch and raise a chick together.

00:14:04.700 They didn't.

00:14:05.400 A poor mama flamingo is like, where is my baby? 1.00

00:14:11.640 And literally, just to affirm human sexual degeneracy, they steal this baby from this 0.73

00:14:16.980 mom. 1.00

00:14:18.080 Crazy.

00:14:18.500 The zoo claims they don't know how this happened, but that the most likely scenario is that

00:14:22.240 the egg was abandoned by another couple.

00:14:24.120 So the male flamingos adopted it.

00:14:26.840 Mm-hmm.

00:14:27.520 Mm-hmm.

00:14:28.260 Mm-hmm.

00:14:29.220 Romans 1, 24.

00:14:30.860 Therefore, God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring

00:14:36.000 of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie

00:14:41.640 and worshiped and served the creature rather than the creator who is blessed forever.

00:14:48.480 Amen.

00:14:49.520 For this reason, God gave them up to dishonorable passions, for their women exchanged natural 1.00

00:14:53.760 relations for those that are contrary to nature.

00:14:56.140 And the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion

00:15:01.120 for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the

00:15:06.660 due penalty for their error.

00:15:09.780 The conspiracy theorists who say that homosexuality, the prohibition against it, was just added to

00:15:14.820 the Bible in 1948, always leave out Romans 1.

00:15:19.900 And all of the other references to sexual morality, the positive definitions of what holy

00:15:25.240 sexuality and marriage actually look like.

00:15:28.720 It's really just a form of blue and on that kind of blows my mind.

00:15:33.180 Romans 1 could not be more abundantly clear.

00:15:37.380 So it really shouldn't be difficult for us to stand up for what is true.

00:15:41.180 Remember, Christians have always been a refuge for children.

00:15:44.460 Everywhere Christian feet have been on the ground throughout the history of civilization, 0.98

00:15:51.000 we have said the child sacrifice stops now.

00:15:54.240 The human sacrifice stops now.

00:15:56.560 The sexual degeneracy stops now.

00:15:59.800 And we should have the same boldness.

00:16:01.900 It's not about political power.

00:16:03.720 It's about infusing righteousness and goodness into every sphere we occupy.

00:16:08.260 Because if we believe that God is the creator, that his ways are better, that God is love,

00:16:15.320 then the most loving thing we can do is agree with God in all circumstances.

00:16:18.980 You cannot compartmentalize the belief that God is the creator and authority over all things

00:16:24.040 and how you interact in the rest of your life.

00:16:27.340 So just remember that.

00:16:29.960 Well, we've got some more silliness happening in the advocacy of the LGBTQ lifestyle. 1.00

00:16:37.680 This time on Netflix, we've got Will Ferrell saying that his longtime friend has become a woman

00:16:46.920 and he just totally doesn't understand what the big deal is.

00:16:51.380 So we'll get into that in just a second.

00:16:53.400 Let me pause and tell you about our second sponsor, another amazing pro-life company that I love so much.

00:16:57.900 And that is Every Life.

00:17:00.100 Every Life is a pro-life diaper company.

00:17:02.180 Unfortunately, a lot of those big diaper companies that you'd hope just naturally would be pro-baby and pro-life

00:17:08.440 are actually pro-abortion.

00:17:10.060 They pay their employees when they want to go across state lines to get an abortion. 1.00

00:17:15.860 They fund those abortions.

00:17:17.300 They send their money to pro-abortion politicians.

00:17:20.340 And if you don't want to be a part of that, but you don't want to compromise on the ingredients,

00:17:24.120 the quality of your diapers, then you need to start getting your diapers from Every Life.

00:17:28.960 We use Every Life in our home.

00:17:30.660 We absolutely love them.

00:17:31.880 They work really well.

00:17:33.020 I can feel confident.

00:17:33.860 There's no fragrances or any of the fake ingredients that I would need to worry about in these diapers.

00:17:41.360 And plus, I love being able to trust that my dollars are going to a company that supports the same values that I do.

00:17:47.660 Right now, they're donating diapers to the Southeast parents who need these items because of Hurricane Helene and the devastation there.

00:17:57.540 They're getting these items from Every Life.

00:17:59.580 So buy a bundle on EveryLife.com.

00:18:02.900 Their buy-for-a-cause bundle will go straight to those families.

00:18:06.140 Plus, if you buy diapers for yourself, use my code ALLY10, you'll get 10% off your order.

00:18:10.960 EveryLife.com, code ALLY10.

00:18:12.940 All right, Will Ferrell.

00:18:20.720 He released a new documentary with his now transgender, quote-unquote. 0.99

00:18:28.760 We always say, quote-unquote, or so-called, or what's referred to because there's no such thing as transitioning your gender.

00:18:36.720 Gender and sex are one and the same. 1.00

00:18:39.420 They're not two different categories.

00:18:41.000 Even some people on our side of things try to separate those two and say that gender is expression and your sex is your biology. 0.71

00:18:50.380 Or some people will say gender doesn't exist.

00:18:52.500 I think that's just a completely faulty way to go.

00:18:55.780 Gender and sex are interchangeable.

00:18:58.820 They are.

00:18:59.280 I remember I had a professor in college who tried to separate those two things.

00:19:06.600 And this person looking back, she was very androgynous herself. 0.92

00:19:10.560 But, of course, this was probably 2012.

00:19:12.340 I had no concept of what transgender was.

00:19:14.600 At least I don't think so.

00:19:15.520 I think the only term I knew was transvestite at that point.

00:19:18.580 And she said something about the difference between sex and gender, how they're two different things.

00:19:24.140 And I wasn't trying to be political or contentious.

00:19:27.540 I just said, they're not two different things.

00:19:30.260 They're the same thing.

00:19:31.500 And she didn't say anything.

00:19:32.880 She just kind of moved on and furrowed her brow.

00:19:36.380 And I don't remember anyone else speaking up or looking at me or being like, well, that was brave.

00:19:40.540 Because I wasn't trying to be brave.

00:19:42.300 I just knew at the time that that was nonsense.

00:19:45.520 And I'm not even sure I understood the ideology behind it.

00:19:48.640 Maybe I did and I'm just not remembering correctly.

00:19:51.240 But I at least knew.

00:19:52.500 Something in me knew that I needed to correct that.

00:19:55.000 But it's so funny because at that time, like, the consensus would have been on my side completely.

00:20:02.540 And she could have actually gotten punished, even though this was a secular school, for spouting something so radical.

00:20:09.000 Oh, how the turntables, as Michael Scott would say, because now we've got a Netflix series saying that a man who has lived as a man his entire life is now a woman and should be accepted as a woman and should be able to go into women's spaces to be regarded as a woman.

00:20:26.960 And Will Ferrell is just like, this is no big deal.

00:20:29.780 Who cares?

00:20:30.820 Like, he's just happy.

00:20:32.480 Well, remember, Will Ferrell is a multi-multi-millionaire who has already, you know, he's made his career in Hollywood.

00:20:39.160 He's a man himself.

00:20:40.560 And he has sons.

00:20:42.300 And so these people who always claim they're on the side of empathy, I guess, has a hard time understanding why we, as women, as moms and parents who have daughters,

00:20:56.540 why we would not want these men entering our spaces, sharing our bathrooms, sharing our locker rooms, competing in sports against our children.

00:21:08.400 But, of course, he probably does have those doubts in his mind, but he knows it's unpopular to verbalize those.

00:21:14.460 And he got paid big bucks from Netflix for this silly documentary.

00:21:17.980 So his now transgender identifying friend, Andrew Steele, who currently goes by the name Harper.

00:21:25.080 It's always a little bit like put the lotion in the basket for me when I hear them come up with their names.

00:21:32.840 You know, like it's just kind of it freaks me out a little bit.

00:21:36.220 I'm like, how'd you come up with this name?

00:21:38.200 It's nothing.

00:21:39.020 At least, you know, Dylan Mulvaney.

00:21:41.620 Remember that guy?

00:21:43.620 At least he goes by the same name.

00:21:45.640 You know, like I wouldn't.

00:21:47.640 I never thought that I would be saying maybe Dylan Mulvaney is more on the same side of the spectrum when it comes to gender deception.

00:21:54.940 But at least he goes by the same name.

00:21:56.720 I want to know because so often I see these stories, especially on like the transgender Reddit posts that are shared on X,

00:22:04.140 of these men saying that they now identify as women and taking on the name of someone that they had a crush on.

00:22:09.820 Because these men aren't gay, by the way, most of the time.

00:22:12.380 They're still attracted to women.

00:22:13.580 So they take a name of someone that they had a crush on when they were growing up or someone that they wanted to be like,

00:22:20.100 someone that they had like secret fantasies about, someone that they've seen in pornography.

00:22:24.600 I just want to know, like, how did you pick this name that is nothing like Andrew?

00:22:29.240 So this guy now goes by the name Harper.

00:22:32.340 And this documentary, Will and Harper, aims to evoke empathy, one might say toxic empathy,

00:22:38.320 for the trans-identifying friend and to normalize so-called transgenderism in the mainstream

00:22:44.060 while ignoring any real concerns over science, safety, and fairness.

00:22:50.380 Some also are pointing out that the movie itself disproves the narrative of so-called transgender hate

00:22:56.700 because Steele is treated warmly by people all over the country, which I think is good.

00:23:03.540 Like, I do think just in like a personal interaction, you can treat anyone, no matter who they are, warmly.

00:23:09.960 But that does not mean we have to be open to accepting a man who thinks that he's a woman or says that he's a woman into our private spaces,

00:23:18.080 nor should we be bullied or pressured in any way to affirm their delusions and to say that 2 plus 2 equals 5.

00:23:28.160 So most of the film focuses on the personal relationship between the two friends,

00:23:32.480 but in one scene, Farrell takes a picture with Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb,

00:23:36.360 and he laments his regret over not confronting him about the state's ban on so-called gender-affirming care.

00:23:43.280 According to the New York Post, the movie itself proves that generally people are kind.

00:23:47.880 In the film, the pair visit an Oklahoma dive bar adorned with pro-Trump flags,

00:23:52.560 and Steele arrives solo, striking up friendly chats with some locals.

00:23:56.720 Then Farrell enters and they are serenaded by Native Americans as a toothless man, 1.00

00:24:01.700 nursing a bottled beer, preaches acceptance.

00:24:04.480 The stranger is welcoming and sweet, this other person at a racetrack.

00:24:09.600 Both encounters prompt Steele to admit, I'm not afraid of these people.

00:24:13.880 Well, Republicans in general, in general, are way, way, way, way, way, way nicer to people that they disagree with,

00:24:22.360 or people that they don't align with, than liberals are.

00:24:25.160 I mean, I guarantee you, if you made a documentary of someone with a MAGA hat,

00:24:30.280 that's not even something that is, like, intrusive, like a man trying to enter into women's spaces.

00:24:35.300 And he went to a bar in New York, I guarantee you, he would probably be physically assaulted.

00:24:41.060 Because remember, politics is the religion of the left.

00:24:44.180 It is their theology, it is their driving force, it's actually what drives their theology.

00:24:48.980 Everything that they think about the Bible is actually first gone,

00:24:53.760 it goes through the prism of politics, and they're vying for power,

00:24:59.140 which is ironic because they're always projecting on Christian conservatives,

00:25:02.760 saying that we are the ones vying for power,

00:25:04.940 simply because we don't want babies to be killed inside the room, inside the womb.

00:25:08.960 But remember, that is projection, it is manipulation, it is a silencing tactic.

00:25:15.140 They are the ones constantly vying for bigger government, suppression of speech,

00:25:20.540 forcing you to agree with and celebrate their ideology.

00:25:24.360 Leftists worship politics, which is why when you are considered a blasphemer

00:25:29.780 and you're outside of their religious dogma, they treat you with such antipathy.

00:25:37.300 So it doesn't surprise me at all that this person was treated nicely.

00:25:42.300 He said, there is hatred out there.

00:25:44.200 It's very real and it's very unsafe for trans people in certain situations.

00:25:48.120 But I don't know why trans people are meant to be threatening to me as a cis male.

00:25:51.840 This is what Will Farrell said.

00:25:54.000 I don't know why Harper is threatening to me.

00:25:56.020 Well, he's not because you're bigger than him and you're a man.

00:26:01.640 You don't have daughters and I guess you just don't care about reality.

00:26:05.120 You don't care about biology.

00:26:07.000 I'm sure you really care about the science of climate change and the science of COVID vaccines,

00:26:12.180 but you don't care about the basic existential science of male and female without which none 0.91

00:26:16.780 of us would be here.

00:26:18.300 But you can't see how a denial of reality, the insistence that two plus two equals five

00:26:23.420 is a threat to absolutely everyone, even if you were to put to the side the rights and

00:26:27.660 the safety and the protection of women, you can't see that. 1.00

00:26:30.780 I bet you could, I bet you could, but there's consequences for seeing and expressing reality

00:26:36.680 and he doesn't want to bear those consequences because it's much comfier not to.

00:26:41.200 He said, it's so strange to me because Harper is finally her.

00:26:45.340 If the trans community is a threat to you, I think it stems from not being confident or 1.00

00:26:49.600 safe with yourself.

00:26:51.840 Oh my gosh, that was funnier than anything you ever said in Talladega Nights.

00:26:56.840 Yes, that was hilarious.

00:26:59.440 Yeah, you're right.

00:27:01.200 You're right.

00:27:02.000 If like, if a little girl doesn't want to walk into, say, a bathroom with her mother 0.98

00:27:08.440 at a gym and see a grown man with long hair and lipstick standing there sexually aroused,

00:27:17.380 I mean, by the way, this has happened at Planet Fitness as well as We Spa in LA.

00:27:24.080 If she doesn't want to see that, if she doesn't want to participate in that, it's because that

00:27:29.560 little girl isn't confident in herself.

00:27:32.400 If women don't want to compete against men who are bigger and stronger and faster than 0.94

00:27:38.320 them biologically, inherently, and have been from the time of puberty onward, it's just because

00:27:43.060 they're insecure, not because they care about fairness.

00:27:46.640 See, this is why the right beats the left in debates because the left never has to see

00:27:52.260 our perspective, they're never forced to see our side, they never contend with our

00:27:57.220 arguments, but we are always forced to see their side and formulate an argument against

00:28:01.520 it.

00:28:02.680 And that's why whenever I enter into like some kind of adversarial or debate context, I

00:28:09.200 always over-prepare.

00:28:10.280 I'm never overconfident in those situations because you just never know whether I'm in

00:28:13.980 front of Congress or whether I am debating someone one-on-one, but I am always struck

00:28:19.820 by the utter ignorance of progressives when it comes to what we actually believe in why

00:28:25.700 or even what we're debating.

00:28:27.760 I encourage you to go watch the debate.

00:28:30.980 I'll link it in the description here between me and between a so-called non-binary teacher

00:28:38.660 for the Ellen Fisher podcast.

00:28:40.480 We recorded it several months ago and, you know, he was respectful, but you will see how

00:28:48.600 vapid their side is and how just absolutely rock solid our side is.

00:28:55.100 I'm very proud of, if I can say that without it sounding like, you know, self-aggrandizing

00:29:00.640 at all, but I'm very proud of how that debate went.

00:29:03.520 I'm very grateful for how it went and I'm so thankful to God for the clarity that he

00:29:09.040 gives us in his word, but also just the common grace of science and logic, all of these things

00:29:15.660 God created and that we get to employ.

00:29:18.400 And it's so much better than this toxic empathy that just says, feel how this proposed victim

00:29:24.400 feels and blind yourself to morality or reality.

00:29:28.200 That's not the Christian way. 1.00

00:29:29.500 The Christian way, as I tried very hard to exemplify in that debate, is the truth and

00:29:33.740 love approach.

00:29:34.820 It's more persuasive.

00:29:35.900 It's more effective. 0.96

00:29:36.860 And it actually leads us to make righteous decisions rather than just emotional dumb ones.

00:29:42.940 Also encourage you, if you haven't yet, please pre-order my book, Toxic Empathy.

00:29:47.180 We go through this subject of gender, sexuality.

00:29:51.460 We go through social justice, immigration, abortion, and we look at how toxic empathy is employed

00:29:57.440 to persuade you to be on the left side of these issues.

00:30:00.880 And then we look at the other side of the issue.

00:30:03.560 Who is affected by the progressive position?

00:30:05.800 And then we ask the most important question, but what is true?

00:30:08.620 So we look at what's historically true, scientifically true, logically true.

00:30:12.620 Most importantly, what is biblically true?

00:30:15.200 You will be so beyond equipped for every conversation about these subjects after you read this book.

00:30:20.800 So go to toxicempathy.com.

00:30:23.480 You can order the book there.

00:30:24.880 Also, you can get it on Amazon.

00:30:26.800 That really helps because Amazon has the majority of these books.

00:30:30.860 Toxicempathy.com or buy Toxic Empathy on Amazon.

00:30:34.680 All right, before we get into the rest of this, let me pause and tell you about our next sponsor.

00:30:39.580 And that's Hillsdale College.

00:30:41.200 Y'all, I love Hillsdale College.

00:30:42.720 This is a great alternative.

00:30:44.220 If you have high school age kids and you're thinking about their education after high school,

00:30:50.400 they think they want to go to college,

00:30:51.720 but you don't want to send them to one of these communist indoctrination factories.

00:30:57.780 Unfortunately, that characterizes a lot of our universities.

00:31:00.500 You really need to look at Hillsdale.

00:31:02.520 This is a university that teaches time-tested Christian virtues,

00:31:08.640 as well as really teaching kids, not teaching young adults,

00:31:14.460 not just what to think as far as the content of history and literature and all the different subjects,

00:31:23.300 but also how to think, how to think critically, how to speak persuasively,

00:31:27.860 what really is the history of our constitution and our country.

00:31:32.240 They will learn objective truth at Hillsdale.

00:31:35.660 And right now they're offering 40 free online courses to people like you.

00:31:41.020 You can learn about the works of C.S. Lewis, the stories in the book of Genesis,

00:31:44.660 the meaning of the U.S. Constitution, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire,

00:31:49.540 the history of the ancient Christian church, all of this so good, so edifying.

00:31:53.380 Go to hillsdale.edu slash relatable to enroll.

00:31:58.000 It's totally free.

00:31:59.340 It's easy to get started.

00:32:00.480 That's hillsdale.edu slash relatable, hillsdale.edu slash relatable.

00:32:10.820 Farrell said that he had zero knowledge about the trans community before Harper came out to him.

00:32:15.880 He said, I had met trans people, but I didn't have anyone personally in my life,

00:32:19.180 so this was all new territory for me,

00:32:20.720 which is why I think this film is so exciting for us to kind of put out there in the world.

00:32:25.880 There's a chance for all of us in the CIS community to be able to ask questions

00:32:31.380 and also just to listen and be there as a friend to discuss this journey.

00:32:36.080 But see, the questions that are being asked by Will Ferrell aren't like,

00:32:39.800 okay, so like, do you really like, you're going to share a bathroom with these women? 0.99

00:32:44.620 The questions are just like, how do you feel?

00:32:46.840 Does this make you happy?

00:32:48.840 Are you your authentic self?

00:32:50.240 We are sold this lie about authenticity, even Christians, that authenticity is our highest 0.76

00:32:55.380 virtue, that if you're not living, quote unquote, authentically, then you're going to be unhappy,

00:33:02.040 that you're living a lie, that it's the most awful thing to do.

00:33:05.740 But look, authenticity, it can be good.

00:33:08.380 We want to be honest.

00:33:09.380 We don't want to be fake.

00:33:10.440 We don't want to put up a facade.

00:33:11.700 But it has to be in submission to truth, not just objective truth, scientific, observable

00:33:18.560 reality.

00:33:19.400 But most importantly, it has to be submissive to biblical truth.

00:33:23.200 So it is not the most important thing we as Christians know to do whatever you feel like

00:33:30.360 doing, to follow your flesh, to follow all of your desires to ultimate fulfillment, because

00:33:36.200 not all of our thoughts and desires or feelings are good.

00:33:39.680 Now, we live in a world that says all of your feelings are valid.

00:33:43.060 All of your feelings are not valid.

00:33:45.720 They may all be real, but valid means that they are rooted in truth.

00:33:50.960 Some of our feelings are just downright lies.

00:33:55.540 And so we have to submit all of our feelings, all of our thoughts, our very identity, the

00:34:01.060 core of who we are to Christ.

00:34:04.400 And within that paradigm, yes, we can live authentically, authentically in submission to

00:34:11.600 Christ and the standards that he has set for us.

00:34:15.280 When authenticity becomes your highest value without submitting to absolute truth, it becomes

00:34:22.680 an excuse for sin.

00:34:24.860 The same thing with autonomy has the same prefix there.

00:34:29.100 Authenticity, autonomy, that AU, it has to do with the self, like automatic.

00:34:34.620 And whenever you create authenticity and autonomy as your highest values, they become excuses

00:34:43.060 for sin.

00:34:43.780 Both of these things can be good in submission to absolute truth, in submission to Christ.

00:34:50.300 And that's what happens when we exchange the God of self, which we all once followed, with

00:34:55.580 the God of scripture.

00:34:56.940 All of our desires, our control, even over our own body, no longer is just about us and

00:35:04.560 what we want to do, but about Christ and his ways are better.

00:35:10.240 And if you're thinking, well, that's fine for you because you're a Christian, you can't 1.00

00:35:13.940 force everyone to believe that.

00:35:16.700 No, I can't force everyone to believe that.

00:35:18.800 But look, every single law, every single policy restriction or regulation or even definition

00:35:24.760 in our public sphere is the product of a worldview.

00:35:29.520 The only question is ever which one.

00:35:32.940 We also have bought this lie that believing that men can become women, transgenderism, LGBTQ

00:35:38.080 ideology, that that's all neutral.

00:35:41.360 And it's fine if progressives are able to define these things in law for us or in curriculum,

00:35:48.660 but it's wrong for Christians to define gender or marriage in the public sphere.

00:35:54.180 One, we're told, is Christian nationalism and theocracy. 0.89

00:35:57.200 The other one is just, you know, neutral.

00:36:00.060 But the progressive worldview is not neutral.

00:36:02.140 Again, it's its own religion with its own ideas of human worth, human existence, right

00:36:08.280 and wrong, sin, holiness, repentance, even its own eschatology.

00:36:12.760 It's thought of like what the future world should look like.

00:36:18.520 And so it's not neutral.

00:36:20.120 So why should progressives have more of a right to inform the public sphere about these very

00:36:29.600 important identity-related issues, but Christians have no right to do so? 1.00

00:36:37.160 Again, that's a silencing and manipulation tactic.

00:36:41.320 Someone pointed out, and this is very true, even if you were to just kind of put the worldview

00:36:47.880 stuff to the side, which actually now that I say that, this still isn't really putting

00:36:52.480 the worldview stuff to the side, but most people without even thinking of their worldview

00:36:56.340 could see the harm in this.

00:36:58.420 Someone pointed out on X, Will Ferrell is not an incarcerated woman who has to bunk with 0.70

00:37:03.060 a rapist.

00:37:03.780 He's not a 14-year-old girl who has to share her school bathroom with boys. 0.99

00:37:07.360 He's not a female athlete.

00:37:08.720 He's a rich, out-of-touch man.

00:37:10.620 Remember, in several prisons across the country and around the world, there are men who just

00:37:15.900 have to say that they're women who are sharing a cell with vulnerable women. 1.00

00:37:21.840 And these are men who are in prison because of child rape, because of the rape of women. 0.99

00:37:28.240 Some of them are murderers. 0.86

00:37:29.600 And in states like Washington, California, Oregon, Illinois, New York, these men who just

00:37:37.520 say that they're women are incarcerated with these very vulnerable women.

00:37:43.140 There are reports out of California that women in prison have been impregnated by these men.

00:37:49.340 That's insane.

00:37:50.880 This is evil.

00:37:52.340 This is wrong.

00:37:53.560 If you cannot speak up against this, I'm sorry, I just don't trust that you're going

00:37:58.680 to be able to stand up for the gospel.

00:38:00.440 If you cannot speak up for Genesis 127, I do not believe you when you say that you will

00:38:05.300 stand up for John 14, 6.

00:38:07.760 Okay, this is basic observable stuff.

00:38:10.660 The gospel actually has to be discerned with the spirit.

00:38:13.460 If you can't stand up for scientific reality, I just have a hard time believing you're going

00:38:17.880 to stand up for the spiritual reality, the far more controversial truth that without Christ,

00:38:22.860 someone is going to hell. 0.95

00:38:24.780 So, like, use this as a warm-up for you.

00:38:29.420 Use this as a test for your courage.

00:38:32.880 The Christian church is built on courage.

00:38:35.620 Christian history, church history is built on courage.

00:38:38.280 Not the cowardice and compromise of Christians, but courage.

00:38:41.360 And this is about doing what Christians have always done, which is not only stand up for

00:38:46.020 the gospel and to do good works, but also to speak out against the evil ideologies of the day.

00:38:52.100 That is why, in part, Christians were burnt at the stake, fed to lions, because by nature 1.00

00:38:59.920 of their biblical beliefs, they spoke out against the ruling ideologies and philosophies of the

00:39:05.820 day that were held by people in power to solidify their power.

00:39:09.900 And that's what Christians are doing today when they speak up for life inside the womb,

00:39:13.500 when they speak out against gender deception and gender confusion.

00:39:18.200 So let's stand on the shoulders of the brave Christians that have gone before us and be

00:39:22.020 completely unapologetic about this.

00:39:25.420 Does it mean we have to be harsh?

00:39:26.800 Does it mean we have to be mean?

00:39:28.080 Does it mean we have to be hateful?

00:39:29.880 But we also cannot listen to the world when they call us mean and hateful for saying what is true.

00:39:36.720 Stephen was full of grace and truth.

00:39:39.540 He was kind, and yet he shared unapologetically the gospel to the audience before him, and yet

00:39:47.520 he was stoned to death.

00:39:49.900 We cannot measure our obedience by the world's reaction to us.

00:39:54.840 You just continue to obey and say what is true.

00:39:58.940 All right.

00:39:59.480 Speaking up against wicked policies of wicked rulers, let's talk about Gavin Newsom and what

00:40:07.480 he's got going on in the state of California.

00:40:09.580 But first, let me pause and tell you about our next sponsor.

00:40:12.340 That's America's Christian Credit Union.

00:40:14.720 Unfortunately, we have to worry about something called debanking, where financial institutions

00:40:19.860 decide because they don't like what you have to say, they don't like what you believe and

00:40:24.460 what you stand for, that they're no longer going to work with you.

00:40:27.800 You don't want to be put in that situation.

00:40:29.480 So work with a Christian financial institution that aligns with your values.

00:40:33.400 That's America's Christian Credit Union.

00:40:34.980 It was started by a group of pastors who wanted to be able to serve their congregants, and

00:40:39.240 now they've spread throughout the country.

00:40:40.900 They have 30,000 shared ATMs, or ATMs nationwide, 5,000 shared branches.

00:40:47.300 For a limited time, you can earn $400 when you open a new checking account with them.

00:40:51.520 Plus, my listeners get an additional $100 bonus with the promo code ALI at checkout.

00:40:56.940 Go to americaschristiancu.com slash ALI.

00:41:00.400 americaschristiancu.com slash ALI.

00:41:02.040 America's Christian Credit Union is federally insured by the NCUA.

00:41:09.460 So in the state of California, Gavin Newsom says that he is making insurance companies

00:41:14.780 pay for in vitro fertilization.

00:41:17.680 Now, I won't get into all of the background on my take on the ethics of IVF because I've

00:41:23.500 done several episodes on that.

00:41:25.260 I know it's probably one of my most controversial subjects that I talk about, but I do encourage

00:41:30.000 you to go back and watch those because I've got so many perspectives from so many people.

00:41:34.380 I've got the perspective of doctors who used to practice IVF.

00:41:39.000 I've got the perspective of a mom who struggled with infertility who almost used IVF.

00:41:45.360 I've got the perspective of a husband and dad who regrets him and his wife using IVF.

00:41:53.940 I've got so many perspectives on this subject.

00:41:57.380 It's not just my opinion.

00:41:58.520 I've got a child safety expert giving her opinion.

00:42:01.720 The fact of the matter is these embryos that are created through IVF are so often discarded

00:42:07.820 and definitely frozen.

00:42:09.860 And that is the unknowingly the gamble, many cases unknowingly, the gamble that every couple

00:42:17.560 takes when they do IVF.

00:42:19.580 I would say no Christian couple goes into IVF thinking that they want to destroy their embryos

00:42:24.220 or leave their embryos frozen.

00:42:26.160 IVF was not their first desire.

00:42:29.720 They, of course, wanted to get pregnant naturally. 0.98

00:42:31.640 So it's a very hard, very sensitive thing.

00:42:34.280 And I really understand that.

00:42:35.660 And yet so many are convinced to create four or five embryos.

00:42:40.260 They only end up being able to transfer two.

00:42:42.380 Then they're left with those three image bearers of God, in-sold image bearers of God.

00:42:47.340 And what's apparent to do in that case?

00:42:50.420 So that's the difficulty.

00:42:52.160 That's why we have over 1 million in-sold image bearer embryos on ice right now.

00:42:58.120 It's a travesty.

00:42:59.480 And so saying that we are going to subsidize those, that we are going to pay taxes to

00:43:05.260 subsidize that process, which almost always includes a eugenics process and the destruction 0.97

00:43:12.460 of embryos, is so wrong.

00:43:14.660 Donald Trump himself has said that we're going to do that when he becomes president.

00:43:18.940 I do not think that will actually happen under Donald Trump.

00:43:22.080 But Gavin Newsom, he's already beat him to the punch.

00:43:26.020 So the law is SB 729 by Senator Caroline Minjavar, which requires large group health care health

00:43:34.860 care service plan contracts.

00:43:36.560 So employers that cover at least 100 people and disability insurance policies to provide

00:43:40.860 coverage for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and fertility service, including

00:43:45.680 in vitro fertilization.

00:43:47.160 So this includes, by the way, the two men that are buying the eggs from one woman and renting

00:43:52.320 the womb of another woman. 0.91

00:43:54.360 The new law broadens the definition of infertility so that same-sex couples can be treated.

00:43:59.980 So you will be forced in the state of California to pay with your dollars the creation of motherless 0.96

00:44:07.020 children.

00:44:08.860 Making intrauterine insemination and IVF more accessible and affordable, they say, is key

00:44:13.920 to achieving reproductive equity for LGBTQ plus people.

00:44:17.500 See, it's not about the babies.

00:44:19.540 It's not about making families.

00:44:21.760 It's about adults' wants.

00:44:22.840 It's about adults validating and justifying their sexual immorality.

00:44:27.540 What do we always say?

00:44:28.800 Children are always the unconsenting subjects of progressive social experiments.

00:44:33.480 Whether it's COVID policies like mask mandates, whether it's child sacrifice like abortion,

00:44:38.220 whether it's the redefinition of marriage and family, whether it is reproductive technology.

00:44:43.800 What do we also say?

00:44:46.680 That when technology takes us from what is natural to what is possible, Christians have 1.00

00:44:50.440 the obligation to ask, but is this moral?

00:44:52.820 Is this biblical?

00:44:54.340 Not all technology is bad.

00:44:56.740 Not all reproductive methods carry with it the same ethical problems that we see in IVF.

00:45:03.640 But here, because we are making image bearers of God, because we are raising these babies,

00:45:09.200 we should be looking to science, which says you need a man and a woman to create a child 1.00

00:45:15.660 to also tell us how you need to raise a child in an ideal situation.

00:45:19.600 We should be looking to creation to tell us what the definition of marriage and family is.

00:45:25.900 Because, again, every law comes from a particular worldview.

00:45:30.880 Christians have been manipulated into thinking that we are the only ones that have to check

00:45:35.060 our worldview at the door before we vote, before we talk about policy, and children are dying

00:45:41.960 because of that wicked compartmentalization.

00:45:45.520 Stand on the side of life.

00:45:47.420 Stand on the side of children.

00:45:49.220 Stand on the side of the most vulnerable.

00:45:51.220 Think about these issues from a truth and love perspective rather than the perspective

00:45:56.320 of toxic empathy, because lives are on the line because of that.

00:46:00.660 All right.

00:46:01.140 That's all we've got time for.
