00:00:00.520 Many pastors online seem to think we should feel guilty for celebrating Trump's victory,
00:00:05.920 but there are many reasons for Christians to unapologetically rejoice, and we are going
00:00:11.160 to list some of those very big reasons on today's episode of Relatable.
00:00:16.900 Before we get into it, I do want to remind you that we have some new merchandise that
00:00:21.820 is so perfect for this moment, but really any moment because it is always true.
00:00:25.800 We've got these mugs and this yard sign that says, God's eternal plan of redemption is
00:00:30.660 always going off without a hitch.
00:00:32.620 That is a phrase that we use so often on this podcast to remind ourselves that this is our
00:00:37.340 father's world.
00:00:38.340 In the midst of the chaos and the confusion, he is a refuge of clarity and comfort and courage,
00:00:46.140 and he is always in charge.
00:00:48.840 So you can go to alimerch.com and you can get your mug, your yard sign.
00:00:53.880 Okay, today's episode of Relatable, it's brought to you by our friends at Good Ranchers.
00:00:57.900 Go to goodranchers.com, use code Allie at checkout.
00:01:00.440 That's goodranchers.com, code Allie.
00:01:12.720 Hey guys, welcome to Relatable.
00:01:14.740 Happy Monday.
00:01:15.780 Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far, that you had a wonderful weekend.
00:01:20.100 Again, this looks and sounds different than normal because I am recording remotely today,
00:01:26.400 but I love that y'all really never seem to care about that.
00:01:29.240 It always bothers me when the audio and visuals don't look like they typically do, but y'all
00:01:35.140 just don't seem to care about that at all, and I really appreciate it.
00:01:39.120 Okay, today is Veterans Day, so I just wanted to take a second to thank our veterans.
00:01:44.700 I am just so grateful for the sacrifices that are being made, that have been made, so that
00:01:51.160 I can have a podcast, a podcast that says a lot of things that contradict the prevailing
00:01:58.400 ideology, which is still in most of our institutions and currently in this current administration,
00:02:05.420 progressivism.
00:02:06.620 This is not something that I take for granted.
00:02:08.860 I saw someone wearing a shirt in the airport yesterday, and it had a big cross on it, and
00:02:15.200 it said, this shirt is illegal in many nations, and that is true.
00:02:21.880 The history of the church has not been one of comfort and ease of being in the majority
00:02:28.000 of having the freedom to affect culture and politics, but that is who the church has gotten
00:02:36.420 to be in the United States thanks to the sacrifice of those who have fought on our behalf, and
00:02:42.160 I'm just so grateful for that.
00:02:43.640 So just a little history about Veterans Day, rather, in case you don't know how it got started.
00:02:52.180 So it was originally called Armistice Day, the national holiday that commemorated the end
00:02:57.120 of World War I on November 11, 1918.
00:03:00.060 So this was the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
00:03:05.780 It received its name in America in 1926, and the hope was that World War I was the war to
00:03:13.460 end all wars.
00:03:14.660 Unfortunately, that was not the case.
00:03:17.200 We have had hundreds of thousands of soldiers die since World War I, and we are just now getting
00:03:27.940 to the point where that greatest generation who fought in World War II are, there aren't
00:03:35.320 many of them left.
00:03:36.620 There really are just a few of them.
00:03:38.460 They're in their 90s and early 100s, and of course, most of them have already passed,
00:03:44.200 and we've gotten to hear their stories.
00:03:45.740 If you have not watched Band of Brothers, I encourage you to do that Thanksgiving, Christmas.
00:03:52.140 My husband and I have watched Band of Brothers multiple times.
00:03:55.500 It will just bring you to tears.
00:03:57.060 America really is such a special nation because of the grace of God, but also because of the
00:04:02.320 grit of its people, especially those who have put their lives on the line on our behalf.
00:04:08.040 In 1954, a bill was proposed to change our Mists Day to Veterans Day.
00:04:12.500 The bill was passed and signed into law by President Eisenhower, who was also, of course,
00:04:17.380 a five-star general and served in both world wars.
00:04:20.300 And this is what he said in his Veterans Day proclamation in 1954.
00:04:24.560 Now, therefore, I, Dwight D. Eisenhower, President of the United States of America,
00:04:29.820 do hereby call upon all of our citizens to observe Thursday, November 11, 1954, as Veterans Day.
00:04:38.340 On that day, let us solemnly remember the sacrifices of all of those who fought so valiantly
00:04:43.460 on the seas, in the air, and on foreign shores to preserve our heritage of freedom.
00:04:49.220 And let us reconsecrate ourselves to the task of promoting and enduring peace so that their efforts
00:04:56.160 shall not have been in vain.
00:04:58.440 And speaking of veterans, I also wanted to talk about Sam Brown.
00:05:03.360 Sam Brown was a Senate candidate in Nevada.
00:05:07.700 He was unfortunately defeated by Democrat incumbent Jackie Rosen.
00:05:13.380 But he is a veteran whose story is really just incredible, and he represents the best of us.
00:05:19.640 He represents the best of those who have laid themselves on the line for our freedom.
00:05:24.020 So I just want to talk about this a little bit.
00:05:27.680 First of all, he ran an incredible race.
00:05:31.640 It wasn't expected to be a nail, a nail biter, but it was, but he has held no prior political
00:05:39.460 office.
00:05:39.980 And so a lot of people didn't really expect his political career to get off the ground for him
00:05:44.960 to be as successful as he was for this race to be as close as it was.
00:05:49.280 And yet again, because he really did just have an incredible campaign and because people really
00:05:55.380 admired his courage so much, he got really close.
00:05:58.440 So he was a graduate of West Point who deployed to Afghanistan in 2008.
00:06:03.180 While serving there, his vehicle was hit with a roadside bomb.
00:06:06.480 He was severely burned, causing permanent scars across his face and body.
00:06:11.180 Though he was medically discharged from the Army, he went on to develop a career in business,
00:06:15.360 served the veteran community by starting a business that helped them get the medication
00:06:20.160 they needed in a timely manner.
00:06:22.700 So here he is sharing part of his story at SOT1.
00:06:25.760 We hit a roadside bomb and it blew up my Humvee and it left three of my other guys
00:06:33.500 and myself wounded and it killed one of my soldiers.
00:06:37.280 I remember as the bomb went off, I'm soaking diesel fuel and I was burning essentially from
00:06:46.100 my knees up.
00:06:46.860 And the only thing I can hear at this point now is my own voice and I'm screaming.
00:06:53.720 I tried to stop, drop and roll, trying to get the flames out, but I couldn't.
00:06:57.600 And I was just continue to burn.
00:07:01.100 At that moment, Sam Brown died.
00:07:05.580 But I heard the voice of one of my soldiers immediately after say, sir, I've got you.
00:07:12.880 And that was the rebirth.
00:07:14.160 Well, praise God for that story of redemption and praise God for sparing his life.
00:07:23.620 Gosh, I don't think we can even begin to understand what our soldiers have endured on our behalf.
00:07:34.340 My goodness.
00:07:34.820 So Captain Sam Brown and his wife, Amy, they are incredible Christians, really strong in the Lord.
00:07:43.480 And after AP announced his defeat against Jackie Rosen, he posted this on X.
00:07:48.940 He said, thank you, Nevada.
00:07:51.000 Serving as your nominee has been the honor of a lifetime.
00:07:55.000 And though the outcome is not what we hoped,
00:07:56.940 I am deeply moved by the trust, dedication and hope you've shown throughout this journey.
00:08:01.300 Together, we set a new standard for what it means to stand for Nevada,
00:08:05.700 united in a vision of strength, truth, resilience and unwavering belief in a brighter future.
00:08:11.520 So there's Captain Sam Brown, his wife, his three cute kids.
00:08:17.360 And hopefully, we're all kind of hoping because he was just such a strong candidate,
00:08:22.320 the kind of person that you really want representing us and representing our party.
00:08:27.140 A lot of people are saying, okay, well, he should still be a part of this movement.
00:08:33.400 He should be a part of the Trump administration.
00:08:36.240 Ben Shapiro offered this on X.
00:08:39.120 He said, Captain Sam Brown was a terrific candidate and his star is only beginning to rise.
00:08:43.720 He'd make an unbelievably great Secretary of Veterans Affairs as a start.
00:08:49.420 Sam Brown said, thank you, Ben Shapiro, for the suggestion and for your support.
00:08:53.720 Serving this nation has always been my calling.
00:08:57.020 And though the campaign came up short, my dedication to America remains strong.
00:09:01.140 So where should that service take me next?
00:09:03.560 I'd love to hear your thoughts below.
00:09:05.700 So I think that is a great suggestion from Ben Shapiro.
00:09:09.480 I would love to see him in some kind of leadership role.
00:09:13.160 And just God bless him and his family.
00:09:15.620 Be praying for them as they navigate this transitional time.
00:09:20.220 When you put so much work and energy and effort, you put your family through so much to try to
00:09:25.960 win a campaign and you almost get there.
00:09:29.180 And then unfortunately it falls short.
00:09:30.880 It can be really hard.
00:09:31.840 But what we do know is that God's man's rejection is God's protection.
00:09:35.860 And he is always working all things together for the good of those who love him, for our good
00:09:42.240 and his glory.
00:09:43.560 All right, speaking of the election, let's do one final election update as the electoral
00:09:50.260 and popular vote counts have finally concluded.
00:09:55.200 But first, let me stop and tell you about my first sponsor for the day.

00:10:56.940 Okay, so the Associated Press officially called Nevada and Arizona for Trump, giving Trump
00:11:07.500 a total of 312 electoral votes to Harris's 226.
00:11:12.640 And okay, I am second-guessing myself, by the way, in how I'm pronouncing Nevada, because
00:11:16.800 I feel like I used to say Nevada, and you guys told me who live there that it is actually
00:11:24.820 Nevada, but now I'm second-guessing myself, and I'm wondering if I have gotten it wrong,
00:11:29.980 if I've switched it.
00:11:30.760 So I am very sorry if I am offending those of you who have told me that I was pronouncing
00:11:36.560 it wrong my whole life, and now I'm trying to fix it, and I might have just messed it
00:11:41.180 up.
00:11:41.400 But okay, maybe I don't have to say it again for the rest of the episode.
00:11:44.700 So 312 to 226 is a complete spanking.
00:11:48.860 I mean, that is just a wipeout.
00:11:50.580 Trump also won the popular vote, 74.8 million votes against Harris's 71.2 million.
00:11:57.420 The last time that a Republican won the popular vote was, I believe, it was George W. Bush.
00:12:06.080 Brie, if you could message me.
00:12:07.260 I almost said George H. W. Bush, but I'm pretty sure that he also, that George W. Bush won the
00:12:13.520 popular vote as well.
00:12:14.720 But it is not very typical for the Republican to win the popular vote.
00:12:20.660 Of course, Trump lost the popular vote against Hillary Clinton, and of course, he also lost
00:12:27.660 the popular vote against Biden, as well as the electoral vote.
00:12:32.060 And so this was just a total and complete annihilation of the progressive agenda.
00:12:37.500 Yes, it was 2004, George W. Bush.
00:12:42.160 This is the last time we won the popular vote.
00:12:43.400 And before that, it was 1988, George H. W. Bush.
00:12:49.120 This is according to the NBC News exit polling.
00:12:53.160 Trump picked up a larger proportion of voters under 30 than any Republican presidential candidate
00:12:58.560 since 2008 and made significant gains, significant gains among young women compared to 2020.
00:13:07.540 Women under 30 shifted 10 points toward Trump.
00:13:10.360 Among young women, Biden's 35-point lead over Trump in 2020 shrunk to a 24-point lead for Harris.
00:13:19.180 Gosh, there are so many reasons for that.
00:13:21.120 I would go back and watch or listen to my episode the day after the election.
00:13:26.840 And we kind of analyzed all of this.
00:13:29.500 And I think what caused this shift, I first saw this tweet from Charlie Kirk when he was
00:13:35.460 talking about the young female vote.
00:13:37.680 Of course, when it comes to young voters, we have Turning Point and Charlie Kirk to thank
00:13:41.620 a lot.
00:13:42.760 When it comes to young women, I think a lot of us on the conservative side were doing everything
00:13:48.340 we could.
00:13:49.560 Back in 2020, I think COVID and especially BLM among evangelicals really blinded a lot of people.
00:13:56.840 They really felt like, OK, I'm going to vote for this independent, middle-of-the-road,
00:14:01.420 empathetic commander-in-chief Joe Biden against mean, old, racist Donald Trump.
00:14:10.180 But since then, the blinders have really come off.
00:14:13.920 They see the dark underbelly of the BLM social justice movement.
00:14:17.520 And they saw the tyranny that COVID policies enacted in a lot of cases.
00:14:24.740 And 2020, as I said last week, 2020 hurt Trump in 2020, but helped Trump in 2024 as people
00:14:32.820 have really politically realigned.
00:14:35.480 And of course, relatable.
00:14:37.880 We did absolutely everything we could to reach our demographic.
00:14:41.180 And I continue to get so many messages from y'all talking about how you were able to use
00:14:47.500 points that we've discussed on the show or points that I wrote about in Toxic Empathy
00:14:51.960 to convince your friends to vote for Trump or just to help your friends understand why
00:14:55.520 you voted for Trump, to defend your Christian worldview, your conservative politics.
00:15:00.780 And I'm just so thankful for that.
00:15:02.560 I've been very surprised, though, over the past week or so, how many messages I'm continuing
00:15:08.400 to get from people saying, hey, can you help me respond to this liberal family member?
00:15:12.740 Can you help me formulate this argument to this post?
00:15:17.140 What do I say to my friend who said this?
00:15:18.880 How do I justify my vote?
00:15:21.060 Y'all, please go back and listen to the previous episodes that we did for months and months leading
00:15:26.160 up to the election.
00:15:28.320 And you can read my book.
00:15:29.940 I neither have the capacity nor the desire to go into all of the different responses to
00:15:37.640 things that we spent so, so, so many hours responding to before the election.
00:15:42.600 For example, I'm still getting a ton of questions about how do I respond to this story of the
00:15:47.840 women out of Texas who were seemingly unable to get miscarriage care?
00:15:51.860 Is miscarriage the same thing as abortion?
00:15:53.780 Do I respond to this?
00:15:55.080 We spent so much time breaking down those stories, giving you responses to those stories.
00:16:00.460 And I don't blame you at all for asking me.
00:16:02.400 I understand a lot of people listening or watching or following on Instagram just haven't
00:16:06.760 been following for a long time.
00:16:08.520 But if you're ever wondering if I've talked about something, you can always type in the
00:16:11.980 subject that you're looking for and Relatable either on YouTube or wherever you listen,
00:16:17.460 whether it's Apple Podcasts or Spotify, and usually it will come up.
00:16:21.640 You can even just type in Relatable Kamala and all of our episodes about Kamala and the
00:16:26.920 election will come up.
00:16:28.360 So that's just a really easy way to do it, and I have tried my very best to equip you
00:16:35.120 guys with the tools, and I just love seeing screenshots of the conversations that you've
00:16:39.440 had with your friends or family on the other side of the aisle where you have been able
00:16:43.140 to employ facts and arguments in a way that is effective.
00:16:46.560 You guys are just awesome, and that's what I want to do, and messages like that just really
00:16:51.880 encourage me.
00:16:53.420 According to the Associated Press, there is still one Senate seat left to be called in Arizona
00:16:57.640 with Democrat Ruben Gallego leading over Cary Lake by three points.
00:17:02.700 Republicans currently hold the Senate with 53 seats, having flipped four seats in West
00:17:06.000 Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Montana.
00:17:07.940 18 seats have yet to be called for the House in Alaska and several other states.
00:17:12.220 Republicans are projected to win the House and are currently leading with 214 seats, having
00:17:16.720 flipped three seats in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
00:17:19.580 Okay, that's amazing.
00:17:20.840 So House, Senate, and the presidency.
00:17:23.100 When you hear people saying that is a mandate, what they mean by that is that the American
00:17:27.520 people are saying, okay, we want to change.
00:17:31.220 We want new leadership.
00:17:32.640 We want you to represent us and our interests, and so go get things done.
00:17:38.340 Don't just sit there and stop Democrats from doing what they could do.
00:17:41.680 Actually get things done.
00:17:42.960 Actually secure the border.
00:17:44.480 Actually help our economic needs.
00:17:46.760 Actually get boys out of women's sports.
00:17:49.420 That's the kind of action, immediate action people are looking for.
00:17:53.580 Actually drain the swamp, as it were.
00:17:57.240 Cut bureaucracy.
00:17:59.400 Get corrupt bureaucrats out of the government.
00:18:03.120 Restore the strength and the integrity of our military.
00:18:06.760 Stop our unnecessary foreign involvement in some places.
00:18:10.680 I'm not an isolationist, but I think we can all agree that it's time to reevaluate where
00:18:16.800 America is entangled and where our tax dollars are actually going, especially when it seems
00:18:23.220 like our tax dollars are not going toward protecting our own borders.
00:18:27.640 So when people say that this is a mandate, that we have the Republican trifecta, that is
00:18:32.900 what they're talking about.
00:18:34.540 Now, I just want to take a brief moment to say something I've been thinking about.
00:18:38.400 I spoke to a group of young women, Claire Booth Luce Policy Institute at their event over
00:18:47.600 the weekend, and I was talking to these young women about this.
00:18:50.660 Like, what is our role?
00:18:52.120 There's been a huge political realignment over the past few years that we've seen that
00:18:56.560 I think is really glorious.
00:18:58.460 We have center, center left people who are part of the Republican Party that were not previously.
00:19:05.120 I mean, we have Joe Rogan, who voted for Bernie Sanders a few years ago, who just endorsed
00:19:11.300 Donald Trump.
00:19:12.040 We've got Elon Musk.
00:19:13.040 We've got people like Theo Vaughn, that kind of comedian class, the socially liberal, but
00:19:18.840 not into the boys and girls sports, politically incorrect, that crowd.
00:19:24.500 We've got the Make America Healthy Again people.
00:19:26.760 We've got RFK Jr.
00:19:28.400 We've got Nicole Shanahan.
00:19:30.180 And then we've got people like Tulsi Gabbard, a lifelong Democrat.
00:19:33.320 We've got people like Megyn Kelly, who obviously had a contentious relationship with Trump
00:19:39.840 previously.
00:19:40.500 She saw the state of the country and the policy agenda of the other side and just said, you
00:19:46.160 know what, past grievances really don't matter when the fate of our country is hanging in
00:19:52.300 the balance.
00:19:52.960 And so we have a lot of people who are center, center left who are not where you and I are.
00:19:58.660 I mean, a Republican party that both holds the enthusiasm of someone like Bruce slash
00:20:04.380 Caitlyn Jenner and Ali Stuckey is quite the big tent.
00:20:09.140 And so what do we do as Christian conservatives to ensure that the Republican party doesn't
00:20:15.280 go the way of the conservative party in Europe, the conservative or, you know, in the UK and
00:20:21.140 different countries in Europe, or the conservative party in Canada?
00:20:25.060 And everyone has their role to play.
00:20:28.500 I am not someone who is unwilling to build coalitions or link arms with people that I agree
00:20:34.420 with on some issues, but disagree with on other big issues.
00:20:38.920 I would say that most people within the Republican party and in the conservative movement are less
00:20:44.800 conservative than me because they are not, many of them are not Christians or they are not
00:20:51.020 the same kind of Christian that you and I are.
00:20:55.860 And we have disagreements about how our biblical worldview should apply to politics.
00:21:03.080 I am as conservative as it gets in every regard.
00:21:07.580 Certainly when it comes to things like abortion and reproductive technology and marriage, I think
00:21:13.360 the Christian has to be because these are creation order issues.
00:21:17.720 These are pre-civilizational issues, which means that they do absolutely have a place in our
00:21:24.260 law because when we forego Genesis 1 or Genesis 1 through 3, that creates an existential crisis.
00:21:33.340 If society is based on the reality of male and female, if our freedoms are based on this idea
00:21:42.400 of us being created by a creator who gave us unalienable rights, if family and the creation
00:21:53.240 of children is the building block of society, then I say that it's really important for a
00:21:58.700 free country to get those things right.
00:22:02.260 So anything that is a created order issue, I am going to hold really firm on.
00:22:07.180 And interestingly, these are the very things that I would say Trump and his camp disagree
00:22:14.180 with us on, those who are closest to him.
00:22:17.100 They are, I would say, very socially liberal when it comes to the definition of marriage.
00:22:21.600 I think they would probably even call Caitlyn Jenner she and maybe even say that he is a
00:22:27.780 woman.
00:22:28.240 They draw the line on certain things and I appreciate that.
00:22:31.220 We're about to get into that.
00:22:32.400 Men and women's sports, men and women's bathrooms, you know, so-called sex change surgeries for
00:22:39.840 children, but they are not where we are when it comes to abortion, the dignity of life inside
00:22:46.160 the womb, the reality and need for natural marriage.
00:22:49.840 And so what is our role?
00:22:52.140 I see my role and also your role as people who align with me on these things as the anchor.
00:22:58.440 We are the anchor over to the right and our job is to use the power of persuasion to bring
00:23:04.880 people over to us.
00:23:06.600 And I already see this happening because I got a message from someone who has not typically
00:23:15.180 been associated with conservatism and really just kind of sees the corruption in the government
00:23:21.980 and wants to do something about that, the need for America to become healthy, who let me know
00:23:28.780 that she has started to see the light and change her mind on things like abortion and faith from
00:23:35.340 listening to this podcast.
00:23:38.020 And so I'm hoping that that is true for a lot of people who are in that center, center left,
00:23:46.380 even center right crowd who are just now coming over to our side because of one or two issues
00:23:52.500 or because they like RFK.
00:23:54.740 I think that we can move them over to us, but we have to stay rooted and grounded in what
00:24:01.060 we know is true.
00:24:02.780 And that is going to mean that we disagree with and criticize some things that Trump does.
00:24:08.180 For example, when he says that he is going to force taxpayers to fund IVF, even though the
00:24:13.520 IVF industry is responsible for more destruction of embryonic life every year than abortion is,
00:24:20.840 that means we have to raise a respectful ruckus about that.
00:24:23.660 That doesn't mean that we're not happy that he won.
00:24:26.060 That doesn't mean that we're not counting our victories and thanking God for the mercy of
00:24:30.600 our nation that he won the presidency.
00:24:32.620 But that means that we are putting what is good, right, and true first, that we are remembering
00:24:39.040 that God's ways are better and that we are truly being salt and light, whether it is in
00:24:45.080 the country in general or in the Republican Party specifically.
00:24:48.360 That is one thing that you can trust me on, that when Republican policy and biblical truth
00:24:56.100 conflict, that I want to always, by the grace of God, stand on the side of biblical truth and
00:25:02.040 do everything that I can to pull everyone on our side to that direction, and I want you
00:25:08.460 to be able to do that too.
00:25:10.280 So that's what this victory lap looks like for us.
00:25:13.900 We've got a lot of work to do when it comes to these creation issues, and we're going to
00:25:18.500 keep talking about that.
00:25:19.620 Even if it makes some people, even on our own political side, angry, we are going to stand
00:25:25.400 up for children who are always the unconsenting subjects of progressive social experiments,
00:25:30.220 and it doesn't matter if someone has an R by their name and are pushing for things that
00:25:36.240 are harmful to those children.
00:25:38.880 We are going to say something about it.
00:25:41.280 But of course, Trump's policy prescriptions are far better in general for our country and
00:25:47.700 specifically for children than Harris's would have been, who of course believed in pushing
00:25:53.120 and promoting the same things that Biden's Health and Human Services Department did, which
00:25:59.020 was the mutilation of gender-deceived kids, and Donald Trump has spoken out against that,
00:26:05.580 and he is going to put an end to that when he becomes president, and I'm very grateful
00:26:09.140 for that.
00:26:09.820 Let me pause and tell you about our next sponsor for the day.

00:27:07.300 All right, so here is Trump.
00:27:09.160 This is actually from February of last year, but people are replaying it and responding to
00:27:14.040 it now, talking about his plans to revoke Biden's gender policies and to ask Congress to pass
00:27:21.520 a bill establishing the acknowledgement of the reality of just two genders, male and female.
00:27:28.020 Sot three.
00:27:28.420 On day one, I will revoke Joe Biden's cruel policies on so-called gender-affirming care.
00:27:36.260 Ridiculous.
00:27:36.980 A process that includes giving kids puberty blockers, mutating their physical appearance,
00:27:43.500 and ultimately performing surgery on minor children.
00:27:47.380 I will ask Congress to pass a bill establishing that the only genders recognized by the United
00:27:52.880 States government are male and female, and they are assigned at birth.
00:27:58.400 No serious country should be telling its children that they were born with the wrong gender,
00:28:03.520 a concept that was never heard of in all of human history.
00:28:07.960 Nobody's ever heard of this, what's happening today.
00:28:11.500 It was all when the radical left invented it just a few years ago.
00:28:16.680 Under my leadership, this madness will end.
00:28:20.060 Absolutely.
00:28:20.920 And I'm just so grateful for that.
00:28:22.320 I'm grateful for that clarity.
00:28:23.760 As we've said many times, clarity is kindness.
00:28:26.660 And, you know, some people say, oh, we shouldn't even say gender.
00:28:29.120 We should only say sex.
00:28:30.420 I've always disagreed with that.
00:28:32.160 Sex and gender are interchangeable.
00:28:34.960 Gender in itself is not some woke, progressive concept.
00:28:39.560 I mean, gender and sex are the same.
00:28:41.980 It is this idea that gender and sex are distinct that is harmful.
00:28:45.920 That someone can be one gender, even if their biology says differently.
00:28:49.980 I really encourage you, if you have not already, to read Love Thy Body by Nancy Piercy.
00:28:55.940 Read Love Thy Body, get you toxic empathy, and you will be good to go.
00:29:01.340 You will be so equipped to answer these culture war questions, especially when it comes to
00:29:06.120 the human body and sexuality and identity and gender.
00:29:10.680 He is absolutely right to call it this insanity.
00:29:12.860 And just as a reminder, this is what Biden did when it comes to this.
00:29:17.400 I mean, we are talking about double mastectomies in minors.
00:29:20.080 We are talking about chemical castration via puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones in minors.
00:29:25.220 We have talked to some of these people who started their transition as a minor.
00:29:29.640 Don't tell me that's not happening.
00:29:31.220 It is 100% happening.
00:29:33.020 We talked to Vanessa, who is a whistleblower from Texas Children's in Houston,
00:29:39.540 who demonstrated that these doctors were illegally, because this is illegal in Texas,
00:29:46.280 prescribing cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers to children and using manipulation
00:29:50.880 tactics on parents saying, if you don't let your child change, quote unquote, genders,
00:29:56.320 your child will commit suicide.
00:29:58.100 I mean, this is actually happening.
00:29:59.740 This is happening across the country.
00:30:02.300 And the Biden administration, this is possibly the most evil, if not one of the most evil things
00:30:08.720 that the Biden administration did.
00:30:10.940 And Harris would have pushed even harder.
00:30:12.760 So on his first day of office, Biden signed a radical executive order mandating the so-called
00:30:18.140 transgender agenda.
00:30:20.620 Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to
00:30:25.220 the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.
00:30:28.180 Well, if you are the opposite gender of the bathroom that you're trying to enter,
00:30:34.520 that is the disruption to learning.
00:30:36.940 That's a disruption to learning for the girls.
00:30:39.100 So this is a perfect example of toxic empathy.
00:30:41.960 They only want you to feel empathy for, they say, 12-year-old boy who thinks that he's a girl
00:30:47.800 and the potential disruption to his learning that might be caused by making him go to the
00:30:53.960 bathroom of his actual sex and not the disruption of learning or the discomfort or the sadness
00:31:00.920 or the straight-up trauma of the girls who are forced to share a bathroom with and change
00:31:07.240 in front of a fully intact male who is often still attracted to women.
00:31:14.540 That's why it's called toxic empathy, because it is a kind of empathy that blinds you to reality
00:31:19.400 and morality.
00:31:20.260 So you can no longer judge rightly.
00:31:22.360 You're not thinking about the victims on the other side of the moral equation.
00:31:25.900 You are completely blinded to the only person that progressive activists and politicians want you to consider.
00:31:31.160 Also early in his administration, Biden issued a memorandum on advancing the human rights
00:31:36.700 of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex persons around the world.
00:31:41.420 Just a reminder that intersex, one, it's a misnomer.
00:31:45.100 There's no one that is actually like two sexes.
00:31:48.020 You might have some kind of sex disorder, and that actually happens.
00:31:52.480 But that is actually something that you are born with that happens in the womb.
00:31:56.820 That is not the same thing as a man declaring that he is the opposite sex.
00:32:03.800 So he said that he was going to advance these rights, but it directed all U.S. government entities
00:32:08.500 to engage these issues abroad.
00:32:11.320 Biden also issued a new policy regarding so-called transgenderism in the military that not only allowed
00:32:18.260 for these individuals to serve in the U.S. military, but to have their gender transition,
00:32:23.520 so cutting off your genitalia, paid for by American taxpayers.
00:32:28.460 On April 19th, 2024, the Biden-Harris administration announced it would redefine sex in Title IX
00:32:35.300 to include gender identity.
00:32:38.140 So it would require schools to ignore the biological distinction between male and female
00:32:42.780 in favor of an individual's sense of their gender.
00:32:45.900 So again, that means that any boy, no matter even what they look like or anything like
00:32:51.400 that, could all of a sudden tell their school, if that school receives Title IX funding, that,
00:32:57.080 hey, I feel like a girl, and so I want to change with the women's lacrosse team, and I want
00:33:02.500 to play on the women's lacrosse team.
00:33:05.540 And he could go in there, and he could drop his pants, and none of the girls would have
00:33:09.900 any say over that whatsoever.
00:33:11.420 None of the girls on the opposing team would have any say on whether or not they want to
00:33:17.240 compete against a man.
00:33:18.860 And yes, this is actually happening.
00:33:20.500 Remember Peyton McNabb that we had on this show, that she was forced to play volleyball
00:33:25.140 against a male on the opposite team, and he hit the ball so hard into her head that she
00:33:30.460 had a brain bleed and now has permanent neck damage.
00:33:33.200 This young woman, she was only 17 years old.
00:33:35.940 Now, thankfully, a lot of women's sports, high school and college, are boycotting the
00:33:40.840 games where there is a boy on the opposite team.
00:33:44.640 You can call that transphobia.
00:33:46.700 I just call it discernment, and I call it courage, and we should be standing with those women.
00:33:51.380 But again, the Biden-Harris administration, motivated by wickedness, by, at best, toxic empathy,
00:33:57.680 at worst, Satanism, and really those things go hand in hand, we're ignoring the pain and
00:34:05.320 the potential victims on the other side of this equation in favor of males who want to
00:34:11.580 victimize women.
00:34:12.680 Think about the kind of man that wants to play some kind of sport against a woman.
00:34:20.120 That is a kind of man that is abusive.
00:34:22.020 That is a kind of man that wants to humiliate and belittle and cause pain to women.
00:34:30.660 That is the last kind of man you actually want on the same court or field or in the same
00:34:35.940 locker room or bathroom as a girl.
00:34:39.020 My goodness.
00:34:40.000 And so when the media kept talking about progressive activists, the Harris campaign kept on saying,
00:34:46.380 vote for your daughters, vote for your daughters.
00:34:47.820 They were talking about ensuring that your daughter could kill your granddaughter.
00:34:52.580 When we were talking about women's rights, we were talking about ensuring that our girls
00:34:56.900 weren't assaulted in the locker room by a man or murdered by an illegal alien as they were
00:35:02.320 running on a Sunday morning like Lake and Riley was.
00:35:06.000 And so we were both talking about women's rights.
00:35:08.120 They were talking about the right to kill.
00:35:09.940 We were talking about the right to live and compete freely.
00:35:13.780 Um, there was a debate about this on CNN over the weekend and it was on news night with
00:35:22.340 Abby Phillips and it was a debate on a, on a round, on a round table.
00:35:28.540 Uh, sure.
00:35:29.300 Michael Singleton, he said, look, people didn't like this transgender stuff while writer Jay
00:35:35.320 Michelson really did not like what sure.
00:35:38.680 Michael Singleton had to say about this.
00:35:41.000 Here's soft four.
00:35:41.700 I think there are a lot of families out there who don't believe boys should play girls sports.
00:35:48.440 They're not boys.
00:35:49.080 I'm not going to listen to transphobia at this table.
00:35:51.280 I am not going to listen to them.
00:35:52.960 You call a trans girl a boy.
00:35:54.980 Are you going to allow me to finish my explanation?
00:35:56.780 When you use a word that's a slur, I'm going to interrupt.
00:35:59.560 That's not how it is.
00:36:00.600 Jay, just give me, just give me.
00:36:01.800 They're not boys.
00:36:02.240 Jay, give me one second.
00:36:03.280 They're not playing girls softball.
00:36:03.820 Let's just reset for one second.
00:36:04.900 I'm not going to sit there and listen to that.
00:36:06.320 Let's reset for a second because, look, this is a really heated issue.
00:36:10.080 Okay, so the debate continued back and forth like that with this guy calling him transphobic.
00:36:16.080 Don't call trans girls boys.
00:36:18.140 Okay, here's my question for you, Jay.
00:36:20.100 What's a trans girl?
00:36:22.000 Why do you have to put the word trans in front of it?
00:36:24.240 What does trans mean?
00:36:26.160 What's the difference between a trans girl and a girl?
00:36:28.760 Why can't you just say, girl?
00:36:30.640 Let's go.
00:36:31.300 Let's define your terms.
00:36:32.740 I mean, this is the whole premise of Matt Walsh's documentary, What is a Woman?
00:36:39.420 They wouldn't define it because if you define woman, then trans woman doesn't make any sense.
00:36:45.760 And in my book, Toxic Empathy, we go through the five biggest mottos that you hear in support
00:36:51.400 of the pillars of progressivism that abortion is healthcare, trans women are women, love is
00:36:55.600 love, no human is illegal, social justice is justice.
00:36:58.460 This is how they use propaganda.
00:37:00.420 It's circular.
00:37:01.140 They never define their terms.
00:37:03.480 And that is to shut your brain off from thinking.
00:37:06.480 So you just repeat the thing that sounds good without actually ever thoughtfully wondering,
00:37:11.880 okay, but how do we define that?
00:37:14.640 How do we define our terms?
00:37:17.320 And that is why in every debate, you have to ask someone to define their terms and ask
00:37:22.220 them where they get that definition.
00:37:24.620 I saw some people online saying, oh, well, sure, Michael should have said biological girls
00:37:30.120 are boys.
00:37:30.640 No, he shouldn't have.
00:37:32.260 Because if you say biological males or biological females, you are assenting to this wrong notion
00:37:40.300 that there's such thing as a non-biological male or female.
00:37:44.200 There's no such thing as a non-biological male or female.
00:37:46.980 So it's just redundant.
00:37:48.160 So no, I think it is absolutely right for him to just say boys, because in most Americans,
00:37:53.720 that cements the absurdity of the situation in their mind.
00:37:57.780 Because for all of our lives, it has been, duh, boys should not play in girls' sports.
00:38:03.080 There's a reason why we have sex-exclusive spaces.
00:38:05.960 It's not for the boys.
00:38:07.500 It's for the girls.
00:38:09.360 That's why we have Title IX.
00:38:10.820 It was to protect women.
00:38:12.840 It was to protect female athletes.
00:38:14.960 And without that, there are no more female sports.
00:38:17.460 So for this reason alone, I'm just so thankful.
00:38:20.200 I'm just so thankful that Trump won.
00:38:23.400 What a great mercy on our nation.
00:38:25.060 And there is also another wonderful reason that Trump won, and that is to root out the corruption
00:38:34.320 and the wickedness, hopefully, that exists in many of our institutions and bureaucracies.
00:38:40.860 And that includes in FEMA, definitely the organization, the entity that you do not want to be biased
00:38:49.300 in any way.
00:38:50.440 And so we'll get into this bombshell story in just a second.
00:38:53.140 Let me tell you about our third sponsor for the day.
00:38:56.160 Okay, even though we are excited about the Trump presidency, we don't know what's going
00:39:00.080 to happen in the next couple months.
00:39:01.520 We just want to be prepared for anything.
00:39:03.980 And that means having an emergency stash of medical supplies.
00:39:07.900 So life-saving antibiotics that comes in a Jace case from Jace Medical, also a Jace Daily
00:39:14.180 case.
00:39:14.500 That's a year-long supply of the prescriptions that you and your family rely on.
00:39:18.440 It is so much better to be safe than sorry.
00:39:20.600 In your Jace case, you can even add on things like Tamiflu, Ivermectin, and EpiPen, just
00:39:26.620 complete lifesavers.
00:39:28.320 And you've got a peace of mind knowing that you're taken care of in that way.
00:39:31.940 Go to Jace.com.
00:39:33.160 Use code Allie for a discount on your order.
00:39:36.240 They have just launched an all-new compounded version of Ivermectin for only $30 as an add-on
00:39:41.400 to the Jace case.
00:39:42.160 That's a great deal.
00:39:43.200 Go to Jace.com, code Allie.
00:39:46.260 So FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, was deployed to help the victims of
00:39:58.860 the hurricane in North Carolina.
00:40:00.980 And it was discovered by reporting by the Daily Wire that a FEMA supervisor, Marnie Washington,
00:40:09.660 actually instructed her crew to avoid helping homes that had a Trump sign out front.
00:40:18.580 So here's the summary of what happened, and then we'll get into the details.
00:40:22.320 So this FEMA supervisor, Marnie Washington, has been fired after she ordered workers to
00:40:27.500 avoid homes advertising Trump as workers identified residents who could qualify for federal aid in
00:40:34.140 Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton.
00:40:36.760 I'm sorry, I said North Carolina.
00:40:38.520 It's actually in Florida.
00:40:40.500 This is according to internal correspondence obtained by the Daily Wire and confirmed by
00:40:45.360 multiple federal employees.
00:40:46.980 The guidance came as the Biden administration was criticized over its sluggish response to
00:40:52.580 Hurricane Helene in rural areas across the country.
00:40:56.300 So this is a screenshot of the chat.
00:40:58.680 It says this, Washington said that it would be the best practice to, quote, avoid homes
00:41:06.540 advertising Trump.
00:41:08.740 No explanation was given for this guidance.
00:41:11.900 This was just seen as best practice.
00:41:15.060 This was among other recommendations like practice de-escalation, avoid high salt diets and
00:41:21.600 coffee.
00:41:22.500 The government employees told the Daily Wire that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags
00:41:27.600 were skipped from the end of October and into November due to this guidance, meaning they
00:41:33.360 were not given the opportunity to qualify for FEMA assistance.
00:41:37.880 How evil is this?
00:41:39.460 And I'm sorry, this would not happen on the other side.
00:41:42.940 It just wouldn't.
00:41:44.600 I've never seen something like this where Harris signs, houses with Harris signs are told to be
00:41:51.540 skipped over for assistance or any kind of government help because of their political affiliation.
00:41:57.260 I'm sorry.
00:41:57.860 The conservative side simply isn't in general like this.
00:42:01.840 We really care about our country.
00:42:04.980 Images shared with the Daily Wire show that houses were skipped over by the workers who wrote
00:42:09.460 in the government system messages, who wrote in the government system messages such as Trump
00:42:15.520 sign, no entry per leadership, per leadership, no stop Trump flag, Trump sign.
00:42:21.460 These are all quotes.
00:42:22.360 And Trump sign no contact per leadership.
00:42:26.620 Several DHS employees who shared the communication with the Daily Wire said it felt wrong to discriminate
00:42:32.020 against Trump supporters when they were at their most vulnerable.
00:42:35.680 Quote, I volunteered to help disaster victims not discriminate against them.
00:42:39.580 The employee said it didn't matter if they were black, white, Hispanic, for Trump, for Harris.
00:42:44.360 Everyone deserves the same amount of help.
00:42:46.380 One team member wrote in a complaint, filed to DHS about the guidance.
00:42:51.160 Quote, if they had damaged or lost power for over 36 hours, it was my duty to inform them
00:42:56.600 of the benefits to which they are entitled through FEMA.
00:42:59.280 So think about it.
00:43:00.340 You've got an elderly couple that has been languishing in their home.
00:43:03.260 They don't have power, meaning they don't have air conditioning.
00:43:06.720 They don't have a refrigerator.
00:43:08.440 They don't have a way to plug in their CPAP machine.
00:43:11.840 Who knows?
00:43:13.460 They were left stranded by FEMA, not informed of the benefits and the help that they could
00:43:18.100 get from the government because of whom they were voting for.
00:43:21.260 That is not just un-American.
00:43:23.660 That is evil.
00:43:25.640 That is so incredibly evil.
00:43:29.880 The New York Times published a fact check a couple weeks ago detailing Trump's, quote,
00:43:37.060 false claims about the federal response to Hurricane Helene in early October because Trump had
00:43:42.720 posted on Truth Social that, I don't like the reports I'm getting about the federal government
00:43:49.200 and the Democrat government and the Democrat governor of the state going out of their way
00:43:53.360 to not help people in Republican areas.
00:43:56.360 The New York Times had said, oh, well, that lacks evidence.
00:43:59.940 We don't know.
00:44:01.260 We don't, you know, we don't know if that's true.
00:44:03.680 The New York Times has not updated this article, but now the New York Times has published a
00:44:11.480 new article, FEMA fires employee for telling Milton relief workers to skip houses with Trump
00:44:17.480 signs.
00:44:17.940 The agency said it was investigating the incident after or in the aftermath of the Category 3
00:44:24.140 hurricane that hit Florida.
00:44:26.320 The House of Representatives Oversight Committee said it has since launched an investigation to
00:44:31.500 look further into the reports and ensure FEMA is sticking to its mission to help Americans
00:44:35.540 of all political persuasions.
00:44:39.520 Really, really disgusting stuff.
00:44:43.060 FEMA actually blamed Republican misinformation for not for people not getting the help that
00:44:50.140 they needed.
00:44:50.860 Here's top five.
00:44:51.820 It's frankly disappointing that we're having to deal with this narrative.
00:44:55.820 And the fact that there's a few leaders that are having a hard time telling the difference
00:45:01.040 between fact and fiction is creating an impedance to our ability to actually get people the help
00:45:07.800 they need.
00:45:09.820 Yeah, you know, we had the governor of Tennessee talk about the fact that some of this may be
00:45:16.680 driven by foreign powers, lies from foreign governments to sow confusion.
00:45:22.200 Republicans, unfortunately, I'm sorry, I just said presidential candidates are picking that
00:45:27.440 up and others are picking that up as well.
00:45:29.160 So that was on October 7th.
00:45:32.020 That is the head of FEMA, the FEMA administrators saying, oh, this is because of Republican
00:45:37.420 misinformation.
00:45:38.820 Of course, that was before this report came out.
00:45:42.160 And it actually looks like, in fact, it was just malicious bias.
00:45:47.540 It is interesting how the media is reporting on this.
00:45:51.820 So CBS is reporting this on Twitter, said a FEMA worker has been fired after she directed
00:45:59.300 workers helping hurricane survivors not to go to homes with Trump signs.
00:46:02.520 And they used a picture of this administrator.
00:46:05.720 But the administrator that you just saw on Morning Joe is not who did this.
00:46:10.840 And it's actually this woman with this picture that the New York Post posted on.
00:46:16.380 An ex-FEMA official who allegedly told workers to avoid Florida homes with Trump signs fired.
00:46:22.120 And here's the picture of what she looks like.
00:46:24.180 I mean, she happens to be a black woman.
00:46:26.440 So it does seem, and this is what the media does a lot, if the suspect or if the villain
00:46:31.980 in a particular story is not white, they will still use a stock photo or a picture of a white
00:46:39.360 person that doesn't have anything to do with the story because they think that they are protecting
00:46:44.760 some kind of racist narrative.
00:46:46.680 But really, you're just not telling the truth.
00:46:50.660 And so, yeah, I would say that I'm thankful that the people who believe that that is the
00:46:58.220 right thing to do don't have more power through the Harris administration because that would
00:47:02.140 have just gotten so much worse.
00:47:05.060 Again, just praise God for his mercy.
00:47:07.940 And because of all of this and so much more, we are celebrating.
00:47:12.060 We are celebrating that Trump won, and we should not apologize about that.
00:47:17.300 That is not gloating.
00:47:19.160 That is not bragging.
00:47:20.740 That is praising God that the policies that are going to lessen evil have prevailed, that
00:47:28.780 they will be implemented and not the evil policies of Kamala Harris.
00:47:33.300 That is a reason for us to cheer.
00:47:36.000 And we shouldn't feel bad about that, no matter what some wet blankets in the church are saying.
00:47:42.180 So I'm going to respond to some of those posts that you guys have been seeing and sending
00:47:47.620 me in just a second.

00:48:36.460 Do not temper your celebration because it might hurt someone's feelings.
00:48:43.380 Of course, we shouldn't be mean to the other side.
00:48:46.760 Of course, you shouldn't alienate your brother or sister and Christ.
00:48:50.620 Of course, you shouldn't like get in their face and say, hey, you're such a loser.
00:48:55.780 I mean, I just don't really see that happening.
00:48:57.680 But of course, that's wrong because that is not kind and that could push them further away
00:49:02.460 from the church and from the truth of the gospel.
00:49:04.460 And of course, we don't want that.
00:49:06.140 But you could be happy, Christian.
00:49:08.240 Like you can celebrate completely unapologetically that the person who represents the more orderly
00:49:15.000 and peaceful and more righteous policies has won and that the candidate who represented
00:49:22.260 policies of destruction and evil and chaos lost.
00:49:26.280 Like we don't have to say that both candidates were equal and well, one side lost and one side
00:49:33.480 won and we really just shouldn't express any feelings about this.
00:49:37.900 This is not football.
00:49:39.560 I mean, this is bigger than that.
00:49:40.940 These policies have serious implications in people's lives and we are looking at the difference
00:49:46.540 between allowing states to have laws that protect the dignity of unborn children and a person
00:49:53.680 that would have done everything that she possibly could within her power to stop states from being
00:49:58.200 able to implement those laws.
00:50:00.060 She would have done everything that she could to ensure that America was a sanctuary country
00:50:04.520 for abortion through all nine months.
00:50:06.680 She would have done everything she could to force our tax dollars to pay for that and to
00:50:10.720 pay for the so-called transition surgeries of young people.
00:50:15.860 And of course, she would have continued her open border policies that she carried through
00:50:19.760 Biden's presidency.
00:50:21.600 And so I am absolutely celebrating that that side lost.
00:50:26.020 That doesn't mean that I hate the people who voted for her.
00:50:28.820 No, but I am not going to pretend like I'm not happy about that.
00:50:33.320 And I think it is right and good for the Christian to rejoice in that.
00:50:37.620 Justin Giboney, he's a political strategist.
00:50:40.960 He's the president of the AND campaign, which I think exists to try to persuade conservative
00:50:49.560 Christians to vote Democrat.
00:50:51.620 I don't think that's the description that he would give.
00:50:54.700 And I don't disagree with everything that he says, but it's a lot of nuance to the point
00:51:01.040 of not really making any clear case for anything.
00:51:05.320 And so I think that their arguments lack a lot of clarity and actually cause a lot of
00:51:10.080 confusion.
00:51:10.560 But here's what he says.
00:51:12.460 Christians, whether your candidate wins or loses, there will still be hurting people who
00:51:16.740 need you to give them hope and be a sober, thoughtful advocate for them.
00:51:19.900 Don't let the outcome defeat you or compel you to pretend that the battle is won.
00:51:24.240 Avoid bitterness and triumphalism.
00:51:26.260 So again, I agree with some of that for sure, that we shouldn't forget that our ultimate
00:51:33.560 goal is to be a witness and to share the gospel with people.
00:51:36.780 We should avoid bitterness.
00:51:38.460 I don't know that I agree that we should avoid feeling triumphant.
00:51:43.160 Yes, of course, this does not mean that the spiritual battle is won and that evil has been
00:51:48.140 defeated forever.
00:51:49.140 But again, I think that a lot of these messages are conveying guilt, are trying to get you to
00:51:57.860 feel guilty for being happy and rejoicing.
00:52:00.940 And I'm just not buying that.
00:52:03.720 Former musician and member of the Christian band Cademan's Call, Derek Webb.
00:52:10.620 Here's a picture of Derek Webb.
00:52:12.440 He said,
00:52:13.160 To my evangelical friends who are loudly attempting to justify their votes and behaviors at the
00:52:17.460 moment, despite the negotiations you've clearly done with your morality and savior,
00:52:21.000 I would invite you to consider that you cannot build the kingdom using the devil's tools.
00:52:25.880 Okay, but you are literally a man wearing a dress right now in this picture.
00:52:32.140 So I'm not really interested in what compromises you think that I am making.
00:52:39.080 Several other posts like that.
00:52:40.900 John Piper also said, he said,
00:52:44.120 Having delivered us from one evil, God now tests us with another.
00:52:48.880 The Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all of your
00:52:52.800 heart and with all of your soul.
00:52:54.780 Again, I just don't think these cryptic messages are all that helpful.
00:52:58.260 And he wrote an article back in 2020, which he recently reposted, arguing that yes, abortion
00:53:04.200 is evil, but Trump's personality is equally as evil and is also a curse to our nation.
00:53:09.340 And Pastor John, they are not the same things.
00:53:12.560 Both things can be sinful without them being the same, right?
00:53:17.080 And that's basically the argument that he's making, that they are both equal curses, but
00:53:22.440 they're not.
00:53:23.600 These are the options that we were presented.
00:53:26.240 And yes, one guy, we definitely want to be closer to the Lord.
00:53:30.080 And we want him to be where we are on all of these policies.
00:53:33.180 But the other person's policies who affect our children, our grandchildren, our neighbors,
00:53:38.260 the most vulnerable among us, were far more wicked and disorderly.
00:53:41.960 We're far worse.
00:53:43.040 We can say that.
00:53:44.060 I think some Christians think that moral relativism is courage, and it's not.
00:53:48.860 It's actually a form of confusion and cowardice.
00:53:52.200 And certainly, I don't think that John Piper is a coward, but I do think that his interpretation
00:53:56.420 of the election in this current political moment is lacking wisdom.
00:54:01.000 I do.
00:54:02.020 And he's someone that I greatly respect and have learned so much from theologically.
00:54:07.260 But this is, well, both sides are bad, and that's it.
00:54:11.940 That's not helpful to people.
00:54:13.860 Sure, both sides are imperfect.
00:54:15.660 Neither party is salvific.
00:54:17.260 But which policies are better?
00:54:18.820 Which policies better promote justice and goodness and freedom and order?
00:54:27.140 Which party best protects parental rights and the rights of children to intact bodies?
00:54:34.660 Which party best protects our borders and our sovereignty as a nation?
00:54:39.320 Which party will best punish evil and reward good?
00:54:44.660 I think that's pretty obvious.
00:54:46.600 And it doesn't have to be quite as complicated as a lot of people make it out to be.
00:54:52.000 If you haven't listened to my conversation with Johnny Artavanis, I really encourage you.
00:54:56.380 I really encourage you to do so.
00:54:58.700 All right.
00:54:59.480 That's all I have time for today.
00:55:01.080 I'm still celebrating.
00:55:02.360 I am still happy.
00:55:03.360 But like I said, we've got work to do as the Christians in this movement.
00:55:07.420 We've got to be anchors over here in what is good and right and true.
00:55:11.440 And through the power of persuasion, move as many people over to our side as possible.
00:55:16.260 But that is a heck of a lot easier with Trump in office than Kamala Harris in office.
00:55:21.260 So praise God for that.
00:55:23.000 All right.
00:55:23.380 We will be back here tomorrow.
