00:02:07.840 administration and private companies are working to develop a standard way of handling credentials

00:02:13.480 often referred to as vaccine passports that would allow americans to prove they have been

00:02:18.160 vaccinated against the novel coronavirus as businesses try to reopen the effort has gained

00:02:23.640 momentum amid president biden's pledge that the nation will start to regain normalcy this summer

00:02:28.080 and with a growing number of companies from cruise lines to sports teams saying they will require

00:02:33.560 proof of vaccination before opening their doors again by the way this is already happening in

00:02:38.600 in new york they have something called like the excelsior pass um that is actually required to get into

00:02:44.440 some places like for example um a mets game there are already a lot of concerns with how that is rolling

00:02:51.860 out privacy concerns being shared and access concerns too for people who haven't gotten um vaccines and so

00:03:00.140 we're already kind of seeing some of uh the some of the concerns playing out in places like new york

00:03:09.120 the washington post says the passports are expected to be free and available through applications for

00:03:14.840 smartphones which could display a scannable code similar to an airline boarding pass americans without

00:03:20.600 smartphone access should be able to print out the passports developers have said and so

00:03:27.560 basically after you get your vaccine you're going to have an app on your phone most of you especially

00:03:35.020 if you're listening to this i can assume have an iphone or you have a smartphone of some sort and so

00:03:41.020 you will be required if you want to enter into certain businesses or certain events you will be

00:03:47.880 required to show your vaccination status and joe biden has been pushing and promoting this idea

00:03:55.400 so this is not necessarily um something that is um federally being rolled out this is not necessarily

00:04:04.520 a government vaccine passport this is being developed by private companies but in partnership

00:04:11.580 with the federal government and of course the biden administration does very much support it and

00:04:18.140 the concern that people have is where is this information going that's that's one of the concerns

00:04:24.360 is your information your medical information i mean that's that's what this is your vaccination status

00:04:30.480 who is it being released to is it being released to the federal government is it going in some

00:04:36.480 kind of database like what are the privacy protections that we have here when it comes to our personal

00:04:43.620 and our health information what other information do these apps actually have access to do i want that

00:04:50.620 information to be given to these major corporations to keep tabs on me and to know whether or not i've

00:04:57.080 gotten vaccinated and by the way we've also heard from people like dr fauci and other so-called medical

00:05:03.100 experts that this might be like a flu shot and so it's not just that you get the covid vaccine once

00:05:09.060 and you're all good like some other shots that we have but it may very well be something that people

00:05:14.020 have to get every year and so just because you've already gotten the the vaccine um and you might

00:05:19.900 think well i'm good to go with my vaccine passport i can get in anywhere i want to well maybe not it's

00:05:24.840 probably going to actually um you're going to have a new deadline or a new requirement that you have to

00:05:31.220 meet every year in order for uh you to gain access to spaces through your vaccine passport and then

00:05:38.980 these companies and maybe the government whoever has access to the information in these apps is going

00:05:45.600 to know whether or not you've gotten vaccinated and the question is like what other um what other

00:05:51.740 punishments or what other benefits are going to be assigned or afforded to you based on your

00:05:58.560 vaccination status and i just want to say up front people who have concerns with this who are asking

00:06:28.720 about the efficacy of the covid 19 vaccine in the context of everything that's going on then

00:06:40.340 one of them a lot of people who have concerns about the vaccine passport who are not anti-vaccine in

00:06:46.920 general um and there are a lot of people who are asking questions about the motivations behind this the

00:06:53.620 profit that's being made from this um the long-term goals and consequences of this who have no problem

00:07:08.500 with advancements in technology but are concerned about threats to our individual liberty to our

00:07:15.020 personal safety to our personal privacy okay so anyone on the other side who says well you're just a

00:07:20.340 conspiracy theorist actually i think that you are a moron if you don't have questions about the safety of

00:07:28.340 the sap i know that's a little intense uh but if you are not asking questions about what the

00:07:35.740 implications are to your privacy to your safety the social consequences of this kind of stuff like

00:07:43.160 you've got your head in the sand i think me saying that that is a moronic thing not to question or

00:07:49.240 is a moronic thing to do to stick your head in the sand i think that that is putting it lightly

00:08:27.520 impose on us to just accept anything that dr fauci says like when did that become the like intellectual

00:09:06.820 however has drawn staunch opposition based on several weighty concerns first while vaccine supply remains

00:09:28.980 disproportionately low now this is something that i also want to bring up and why i think that there

00:09:34.940 there is actually a chance of um these vaccine passports not being ubiquitous not being quite as pervasive as

00:09:43.360 they seem to um as it seems like they will be right now because you also have some concerns coming from the

00:09:51.800 left in particular about equity that this is going to disproportionately affect poor people this is going to

00:09:58.560 disproportionately affect people of color this is going to disproportionately affect people that many

00:10:04.320 consider marginalized they don't have necessarily as much access now what's not talked about is that a lot of

00:10:11.340 these uh a lot of these minority communities simply don't want to get the vaccine it's not always about access

00:10:18.320 by the way but there are some concerns about so-called equity and the equality of distribution of this vaccine

00:10:26.480 and people are afraid that disproportionately people of color are going to become second-class citizens

00:10:31.280 because they're not going to be able to access the things that everyone who was able to get the vaccine

00:10:36.900 are able to access and so there are even some racial concerns and as we know racial concerns uh rule

00:10:46.420 right now and so if there's something that's going to change these woke companies minds about this vaccine

00:11:46.760 world and the fear is that this is just going to open um open the gates for this kind of thing this kind

00:12:00.540 the vaccines that it will go into uh that it will go into other realms um and that it is not going to stop

00:12:10.280 at the end of this year or at the end of next year that it's going to be forever and it's going to start

00:12:15.580 taking over other parts of our lives that's a problem like that is a problem do you not see how

00:12:23.080 that's a problem how that should be a concern for everyone whether you're on the left or the right

00:12:28.240 israel already has vaccine passports according to cnn israel boasts one of the highest vaccination rates

00:12:34.940 in the world with more than 50 of its population having received both doses of the vaccine

00:12:41.580 and now they have a green pass that is on their phones that is distributed by the government

00:12:47.660 that allows them access to activities that largely disappeared over the past year as the word social

00:12:53.060 distancing and lockdown entered the lexicon the green pass is authorized by israel's ministry of health

00:12:58.880 it can be a physical document or downloaded to a person's phone it's required for going to the gym

00:13:05.280 dining outside um at a restaurant with 75 capacity with a hundred person limit attending a theater

00:13:12.540 performance um people apparently in israel are very excited about this i'm sure there's a lot of people

00:13:17.900 who also have the same kind of privacy concerns that we have but apparently from what we see in israel

00:13:23.740 people are liking this because this means that they can actually go out and do the things that they

00:13:28.680 um that they want to do this is um a different country with different sentiments perhaps than the

00:13:36.100 united states and other countries but that is i do want to be fair and show the other side of this

00:13:41.160 the people who are excited about this are saying look whatever it takes for us to get back to normal

00:13:46.040 whatever it takes for us to be able to access the things that we love and do the things that we want

00:13:51.500 to love and if this and or do the things that we love um and if this is what it takes for

00:13:57.680 you know people to feel comfortable and for businesses to operate safely then this is what

00:14:02.380 it takes and it's absolutely worth it and so there's definitely that perspective and looking at

00:14:07.180 israel and seeing them kind of as a model of getting back to normal um and so that is kind of the

00:14:15.120 argument i would say though at what cost and is this really necessary i mean uh america is rolling

00:14:23.100 out this vaccine distributing this vaccine very quickly a large percentage of the most vulnerable

00:14:29.220 people to this virus the elderly people with serious underlying conditions um have been vaccinated

00:14:35.920 a large portion of them not all of them and so if you can get to the point of reaching some kind of

00:14:42.640 herd immunity or where a large percentage has been vaccinated then what is the point of this vaccine

00:14:49.560 passport there are many places where businesses have been operating safely have been using their

00:14:56.700 own kinds of restrictions and regulations to ensure that people are safe and that safe and everything

00:15:01.580 is sanitized and there's no viruses spreading for months and so is there really a point to opening us

00:15:08.940 up to the possibility of a social credit system where all of our privacy and even liberty is compromised

00:15:14.040 i i i don't think so like i said there are states that have been operating almost at full capacity for

00:15:22.180 months now where the death rates as we talk as we have talked about before um are lower than some of

00:15:29.840 the states like new york and new jersey that have been closed down this entire time and so i don't see

00:15:35.880 the justification for something like this i've seen over and over again it seems like the people in

00:15:41.960 washington the biden administration the democrats in washington dr fauci live in a different reality

00:15:48.000 than a lot of people for example joe biden saying that you know if things continue to go well you

00:15:54.200 might be able to get together with a few people on the 4th of july like a few members of your close

00:15:59.880 family or dr fauci saying you know if we continue with our vaccination efforts then kids will be able to

00:16:07.100 um kids will be able to play together as long as they have their masks on that is so out of touch

00:16:14.860 with how most americans have been living their lives there are i would say a minority of americans

00:16:20.600 who have truly been locked down they have avoided getting together with people for the entirety of

00:16:26.400 this year that just hasn't been the case most people in southern states have been basically living

00:16:38.200 the restrictions that they have to follow but have basically been living their lives getting together

00:16:42.040 with friends and family going on vacation to florida since last spring there was like a couple months

00:16:55.700 southern states have just been doing what they did before and so a lot of people are throwing back

00:17:16.020 july and no one waited for the president to say anything and so i just think that those left-wing

00:17:38.080 necessary to live safely to operate businesses safely the cons just continue to outweigh the

00:17:50.700 to the blaze that there won't be a federal mandate for vaccine passports uh he said that a mandate on

00:17:57.180 coronavirus vaccine passports from the federal government is unlikely but added that some local

00:18:01.760 governments and businesses might choose to implement their own standards so i guess you could say that's

00:18:08.880 comforting in a way but as we're going to talk about if we have time corporations major corporations

00:18:15.380 make up an oligarchy in this country that controls a lot of our lives and so as a conservative i care

00:18:23.400 about individual liberty period i care about bureaucracy or i i'm concerned with bureaucracy

00:18:31.300 period and so major corporations that are enforcing their policies in a way that affects my life or

00:18:39.580 affects my privacy or affects my personal liberty that bothers me now i understand yes private businesses

00:18:46.720 can do what they want to but when you are punishing people as a corporation like amazon or like google

00:18:55.040 who controls so much of the marketplace based on your politics or based on your policies like that's

00:19:01.760 a problem for me i don't like big corporate power just like i don't like big government power so even if

00:19:07.940 this is not federally mandated but all of these major corporations and these big tech companies

00:19:12.460 try to enforce uh enforce this when it comes to all of our major public events or tries to bully local

00:19:21.740 governments into enforcing these kinds of vaccination passports like that's still a concern your privacy

00:19:38.180 the digital vaccine passport uh because of equity concerns they say there are a lot of people who

00:19:44.820 don't have cell phones um they recommend a system that's primarily paper-based but with a digital option

00:19:51.420 so that no one is left out the fact of the matter is there's still going to be people who are left out by

00:19:56.400 that option i actually think it's probably more difficult in this country to get a printer and to

00:20:02.420 actually print something out than it is to get some form of a smartphone probably and so you're still

00:20:07.620 going to see some kind of disparity there um there are still going to be people who don't have access

00:20:13.880 to a printer to be able to get the piece of paper i guess it could come to you in the mail as well maybe

00:20:19.980 that's what they're talking about uh still you've got problems there you've got logistical issues there

00:21:28.280 parson of missouri is saying is saying that he does not support a vaccine passport he has no intention

00:21:34.780 of implementing one in the state of missouri we've also got south dakota governor christy noem saying the

00:21:41.900 same thing she is saying that this is one of the most un-american ideas in our nation's history

00:21:47.380 and that we should oppose this texas governor greg abbott um he said that he is not going to require

00:21:55.800 any texan to show proof of vaccination and reveal private health information just to go about their

00:22:01.280 daily lives and so thankfully uh republican republican governments are speaking up against this and this

00:22:08.460 is going to be the tactic that has to be taken um that republican state governments hopefully democratic

00:22:15.500 state governments too because i truly believe this should be bipartisan are going to have to stand

00:22:20.340 up and say no this is not going to happen in my state and if it's not federally mandated

00:23:01.260 the clinton era and she's been a democratic activist for a long time she still considers herself a

00:23:07.080 democrat she voted for joe biden she spoke out against um donald trump and um definitely is a liberal

00:23:16.080 but she's had a lot of concerns about this she's also been called a conspiracy theorist when it comes

00:23:21.660 to some things on this particular issue on vaccine passports uh she has been very clear and very emphatic

00:23:29.960 that this may be the end of our freedoms if we allow the government and this corporate

00:23:45.000 risk that we bring to the table or the benefits that we bring to the table when it comes to

00:24:09.400 of the people listening aren't what we may not know or understand about one what this vaccine passport is

00:24:31.400 technology does so basically it's a complete lie i'm just going to say lie um that we're being sold

00:24:38.600 this vaccine passport as just for vaccine status if it was just for vaccine status which is already a

00:24:45.560 violation of the americans with disabilities act um you would you have a piece of paper and that

00:24:50.920 wouldn't threaten in time you know human liberty i mean i literally have been warning this is the

00:24:55.640 end of human liberty it's a chinese style social credit system and why is that because the vaccine

00:25:02.360 passport is a platform right and the platform once it's launched already has every citizen's um

00:25:21.800 of the back end meaning just a tiny you know like half hour addition of functionality um you can load

00:25:28.760 onto it it talks to your apple pay it talks to your google wallet in fact microsoft oracle and salesforce

00:25:35.560 are presenting an app which is already part of google pay and apple wallet um with another tweak

00:25:43.000 it reads your social media so it can dial you down and switch off your paypal or apple pay if you talk

00:25:49.160 too much in favor of conservatives or of liberals um everywhere you go when you swipe that qr code

00:25:55.240 which they've started to do for the pandemic to avoid germs which is nonsense scientifically when you go to

00:26:01.080 a bar or restaurant the ones that are open it geolocates you right so now every time in israel

00:26:07.080 they rolled out vaccine passports they have to swipe them to buy groceries to go to the beach to get their

00:26:12.440 kids into school to get medical care um every time you do that it doesn't just geolocate you meaning

00:26:18.840 it tells the central database exactly where you are but it also sucks up the data from all your friends

00:26:25.800 who are with you and create maps networks of social influence with those so that you can never dissent again

00:26:33.480 after the vaccine passport is rolled out because your phones will tell the central database who all your friends are

00:26:51.480 rolled out and it's wrong to you can't even boycott it because once it's launched everybody's in it

00:27:47.240 future whether you're on the right or the left and see that this is going to be a problem for you

00:28:01.320 what else is this going to give you like how else are you going to be punished if you don't get the

00:28:05.720 covid shot every year uh how how else are you going to be measured by the way what if it's no longer

00:28:13.320 just vaccination status when it comes to covid what if it's your flu shot as well or what if it's any

00:28:20.120 other kind of medical test or vaccine or some kind of uh standard medical or not that you have to reach

00:29:33.960 uh fetal cells from aborted babies in their research for this vaccine but there are other

00:29:39.800 vaccines that don't i believe we've talked about this before but i believe that it's pfizer that does

00:29:45.080 not um and so not all of the covet vaccines have any involvement with fetal cell research if that's an

00:29:52.680 ethical concern a totally understandable ethical concern that you have and so being against the loss of

00:29:59.720 freedom being against a social credit system whether it's run by the federal government or

00:30:04.120 whether it's run by corporate oligarchy um is not being against vaccines you might not even be against

00:30:10.920 masks or maybe you're not even against mask mandates maybe you're not against lockdowns you can still be

00:30:17.480 against this and also be against the spread of the coronavirus this does not make you a conspiracy

00:30:24.280 theorist that doesn't make you an alarmist it doesn't make you a fear monger you're staring the threat

00:30:36.360 people's information and safety this vulnerable so now we're going to get into the new york times

00:30:51.000 vaccine passport but the vaccination effort in general but first i got to tell you guys about a

00:31:27.800 make you feel safe because it never sells your data to these uh outside third parties that are trying to

00:31:35.480 advertise to you start mail keeps your email private period every email is encrypted even if the recipient

00:47:02.520 caused that that's another blue and on conspiracy theory like there are no pervasive facts that

00:47:07.320 actually uh that actually back that up uh there are also catholic bishops as well who have expressed

00:47:13.480 concerns about the abortion link um but the vatican concluded that the vaccines are morally acceptable

00:47:20.120 however there are many catholics who are skeptical about this in particular because of the pro-life

00:47:26.360 aspects of it of the experimentation or of the usage of fetal cells in some of these vaccines although

00:47:33.480 according to pew research the vast majority of catholics do say that they will get uh that they will get the

00:47:41.000 vaccine so this is another example not just of trying to uh trying to hoist white evangelicals up as the

00:47:51.000 problem um in our society when it comes to all different aspects but also the media refusing to

00:47:58.360 look at their own faults to look at their own hypocrisy look at the lack of trust in the institutions

00:48:04.840 that we have including in the media and maybe taking some of the blame for that they seem completely

00:49:14.520 in the economy at all and so people are worried about these vaccine passports for that particular

00:49:19.480 reason too although i would say i mean even as pew research says the vast majority or just the

00:49:24.920 majority of white evangelicals are okay with the vaccine plan to take the vaccine and i would say

00:49:30.600 most white evangelicals are not worried about the vaccine passport being a sign of the end times but

00:49:35.000 actually a sign of our surrendering of our privacy and our liberty but for those who are wondering about

00:49:43.880 this being the mark of the beast um let's read revelation 13 through 16 or revelation 13 16

00:49:53.400 through 17 um that can tell us about uh the mark of the beast also it causes all both small and great

00:50:04.120 both rich and poor both free and slave to be marked on the right hand this is the antichrist

00:50:07.960 the antichrist marked on the right hand or the forehead so that no one can buy or sell um and so

00:50:17.000 that is the that's the that's the indication of what the mark of the beast is unless he has the mark they

00:51:26.520 of the beast doesn't exist yet a literal reading of revelation and other end times prophecy in the

00:51:32.760 bible shows there is a schedule for the end times events now this also depends on if you're um if you

00:51:45.400 uh jeff durbin about this on two separate podcasts i've done my own podcast on what i believe about

00:51:52.200 the end times he is post-millennialist jeff durbin i am pre-millennialist but post-tribulation

00:51:59.000 um and so all of this also depends on what you believe about the end times based on what scripture

00:53:47.480 that the bible is very specific about where the mark is going to be and i should have mentioned

00:53:52.280 this earlier that the bible says that it is going to be on a person's uh forehead or their right hand

00:53:59.400 so it says this in chapter 13 it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast that the image

00:54:04.760 of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be

00:54:09.560 slain also it causes all both small and great both rich and poor both slave and free to be marked on
