The Million Person March, otherwise known as or is a protest against sexual orientation and gender ideology in Canadian schools. It's a march in support of the LGBTQ+ community, and in opposition to the Trudeau government.
00:00:00.000I also saw the leader of the NDP, who was also part of Canada's coalition government, Jagmeet Singh, looked me in the eye, and he did that to me. And I also did that best.
00:00:18.160Mr. Singh and Mr. Trudeau, you do not speak for Canadians.
00:00:33.160I promise you, look into my eyes again and you can see it in the videos. I know I put fear in your eyes.
00:00:46.160You bullied our blue-collar truckers, but this white-collar guy is going to make sure you all eat your words.
00:01:02.160So we are in a very precarious position in this country. We need political change, but we also need to resolve to resist.
00:01:16.160We are just about to begin the march. Because of the counter-protest, we have rearranged the schedule to have the speakers after the march.
00:01:30.160Well, a little bit there at the beginning from a huge, a monumental, a gargantuan date in Canadian history, September 20th, 2023.
00:01:47.320Do I look a little tired? Well, I've been up since 5, and I've been covering the Million Person March, otherwise known as the hashtag One Million March for Children.
00:02:06.480Not just here in Ottawa, where I estimate about 10,000 people were there at the peak for the actual march, which occurred about 1120, 1130.
00:02:19.480And people began to leave via East Block and Parliament Hill and went to Wellington and then down Elgin Street.
00:02:30.480Now, there have been marches across Canada today.
00:02:35.480Some of them were very exciting, to put it mildly.
00:02:41.480There were fights at some of these events.
00:02:44.480At the event today, one, I understand it was an adolescent, stomped on the gay pride parade and police arrested him, presumably for a hate crime.
00:02:57.480I'm not sure, but I do understand that this individual was released and the charges were dropped.
00:03:04.480The police were a little trigger happy today.
00:03:24.480We suspect that the counter-protest that erupted was very much known to them and that the police shared intelligence with them about our event with these counter-protesters.
00:03:41.480Now, of course, this event today, this protest was all about SOGI or SOGI, which is the sexual orientation, gender ideology in the schools.
00:03:52.480It's the obsession with sex, sexual orientation, gender ideology, suggesting there's gender dysphoria among six-year-olds, suggesting that there's a need to change pronouns,
00:04:09.480that children should be able to change their gender without their parents not only knowing about it, but not providing their permission.
00:15:19.400I applaud all of the people who worked on this.
00:15:24.080But I really applaud the work of Canada's Muslim community.
00:15:28.400And I think that a bang up job of preparation and planning.
00:15:32.960And it was a huge success today all across this great land.
00:15:37.080And as Camille said today, this is going to be an annual event started today.
00:15:47.200Ladies and gentlemen, we're just starting on September 20th.
00:15:54.240Moving forward, which is 920, will be Families and Kids Liberation Day.
00:16:07.080The work continues, and we will continue to stop the long arm of Trudeau's government from interfering in the lives of individuals who just want the state to leave them and their families alone.
00:16:27.120A lot of folks came out today. I want to congratulate and thank Maxime Bernier, my old friend, former Foreign Affairs and Industry Minister in the conservative Stephen Harper government.
00:16:42.120He was a great member of parliament. He should be back fighting because he's one of the few politicians who showed up today.
00:16:53.660Everybody was invited. Maxime Bernier showed up to support these issues because he's been courageous in defending parental rights and attacking gender ideology.
00:17:06.180Rod Taylor from the Christian Heritage Party was also there. Thank you for being there, Rod, because Justin Trudeau didn't come.
00:17:15.400Jagman Singh came, but of course he was with the wrong side.
00:17:19.080Pierre Polyev, the conservative leader, should have been there.
00:17:23.360I know he's struggling with these issues. I know he's grappling with this right now.
00:17:27.420I know he's counting the cost of supporting the right side here.
00:17:33.760And I will give him the benefit of the doubt today, but he needs to eventually take a stand.
00:17:40.840And he has to a certain degree, but it would have been nice to see him today because he will certainly be the next prime minister of Canada if the polls remain as they are today.
00:17:54.280And I hope he's a prime minister who respects parents in common sense.
00:18:00.160Yes, he seems to be. But I'm going to demand action and not just words because I don't put any politician on a pedestal.
00:18:09.940They will always disappoint you when it comes to re-election.
00:18:15.460We've got to keep them accountable. And that's what this program is all about.
00:18:18.820Thank you for watching today. If you were part of the Million Person March, thank you for coming out today and supporting common sense policies.
00:18:30.440And parental rights and parental rights and protecting our children.
00:18:37.980They were the essence of what happened today.
00:19:27.940And financially support us if you can.
00:19:31.000I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
00:19:33.080And those of you who are doing so right now, who have done so, thank you.
00:19:37.720And all the people who came up to me today and say, I saw you on your station or I saw you on Redacted, which I'm I'm on quite frequently now.
