00:00:01.000 The embattled Congressman Matt Gaetz.
00:00:03.000 Matt Gaetz was one of the very few members in the entire Congress
00:00:06.000 who bothered to stand up against permanent Washington on behalf of his constituents.
00:00:10.000 Matt Gaetz right now, he's a problem in the Democratic Party.
00:00:13.000 He could cause a lot of hiccups in passing the laws.
00:00:16.000 So we're going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him.
00:00:20.000 If you stand for the flag and kneel in prayer,
00:00:23.000 if you want to build America up and not burn her to the ground,
00:00:27.000 then welcome, my fellow patriots. You are in the right place.
00:00:31.000 This is the movement for you.
00:00:33.000 You ever watch this guy on television?
00:00:35.000 It's like a machine, Matt Gaetz.
00:00:38.000 I'm a canceled man in some corners of the internet.
00:00:41.000 Many days I'm a marked man in Congress, a wanted man by the deep state.
00:00:46.000 They aren't really coming for me. They're coming for you.
00:00:50.000 I'm just in the way.
00:00:52.000 Welcome to Firebrand.
00:00:57.000 We're broadcasting live out of our office on Capitol Hill in the Longworth Building
00:01:01.000 here in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C.
00:01:04.000 So much to discuss. So much to be offended over.
00:01:07.000 I've got a major update regarding recent activity by the Biden administration
00:01:12.000 to weaken our military now for the sake of environmental wokeness
00:01:17.000 more than some of the critical race theory pro-socialism wokeness that we've covered extensively in the past.
00:01:24.000 We've got the live stream running.
00:01:26.000 We are on Facebook, Instagram, Rumble.
00:01:30.000 We are on Getter.
00:01:32.000 Adam on Facebook says it's commie smash time.
00:01:35.000 Kim on Instagram says God bless Representative Gaetz.
00:01:40.000 So unless you were hiding under a rock somewhere the last week,
00:01:45.000 you notice that there was a conference at Turning Point USA in Tampa, Florida.
00:01:50.000 A bunch of the activists that drive the action on policy and politics on the right were there interacting with one another.
00:01:58.000 We had Governor Ron DeSantis lay out the Florida freedom agenda.
00:02:03.000 The pro-parent agenda had a raucous ovation, but there was no energy like when President Trump took the stage.
00:02:11.000 He had a withering critique of the state that we have to live in in America under a hapless Joe Biden.
00:02:18.000 But with all due respect to President Trump and Governor DeSantis,
00:02:22.000 I think the speech that got the most attention at Turning Point might have been mine.
00:02:26.000 Here's a clip. Take a listen.
00:02:29.000 Our America is a pro-life nation proudly.
00:02:35.000 Oh, have you watched these pro-abortion, pro-murder rallies? 0.99
00:02:43.000 The people are just disgusting. 0.92
00:02:47.000 Like, why is it that the women with the least likelihood of getting pregnant are the ones most worried about having abortions? 1.00
00:02:55.000 Nobody wants to impregnate you if you look like a thumb. 0.81
00:03:02.000 These people are odious on the inside and out. 0.87
00:03:05.000 They're like 5'2", 350 pounds, and they're like, give me my abortions or I'll get up in March and protest. 0.87
00:03:12.000 And I'm thinking, March?
00:03:14.000 You look like you got ankles weaker than the legal reasoning behind Roe vs. Wade.
00:03:20.000 A few of them need to get up in March.
00:03:23.000 They need to get up in March for like an hour a day, swing those arms, get the blood pumping, maybe mix in a salad. 0.84
00:03:29.000 I am pro-life. I make no apology for that.
00:03:36.000 I do believe that our country can have a rational discussion among people with different value sets who disagree on when life begins.
00:03:44.000 What's 20 weeks, 15 weeks, what's the appropriate envelope for exceptions?
00:03:49.000 You know, those are, I think, very appropriate, very timely given the Dobbs decision.
00:03:55.000 But the people who deserve no quarter are the ones who show up to rally for the taking of a life.
00:04:04.000 I mean, just think about how depraved you have to be to say that like what you're going to do with your free time is go out and try to like threaten physically a Supreme Court justice for the sake of this heinous outcome, the taking of a life.
00:04:19.000 Just a terrible thing.
00:04:21.000 You know, I think back to like how we viewed protest, at least how I did growing up.
00:04:27.000 You saw people protesting Vietnam.
00:04:30.000 They held up signs that said, make love, not war.
00:04:34.000 It seems that people protesting for abortion could make neither.
00:04:38.000 I was questioned about this recently by WEAR 3 News in my district.
00:04:44.000 That interview also got some attention.
00:04:46.000 Take a listen.
00:04:49.000 What I said.
00:04:50.000 Yeah.
00:04:51.000 Explain what you said and what you meant by that.
00:04:52.000 Well, I'm very pro-life and I make no apology for it.
00:04:55.000 And I'm grateful that Roe has been overturned and that Dobbs is now the jurisprudence on abortion.
00:05:00.000 And I find these people who go out in these pro-abortion, pro-murder rallies odious and just like ugly on the inside and out.
00:05:10.000 And I make no apology for it.
00:05:12.000 I don't believe that every person who disagrees with my perspective on life is an ugly person.
00:05:18.000 But the ones that are out there protesting and marching outside Justice Kavanaugh's home, trying to threaten the court, trying to impose a night of rage on our nation's capital, which is what they advertised.
00:05:30.000 That's just it's just pure ugliness.
00:05:32.000 And I see that ugliness on the inside.
00:05:33.000 I see it on the outside.
00:05:34.000 You know, even in the horrible circumstance where an abortion may happen, it is nothing to celebrate and it is nothing to cheer.
00:05:41.000 Is it safe to say that based off of your comments, you're suggesting that these women at these abortion rallies are ugly and overweight? 0.92
00:05:48.000 Yes.
00:05:49.000 What do you say to people who think that those comments are offensive?
00:05:52.000 Be offended.
00:05:53.000 Don't we all have fatigue as a society for the sense that we have to be offended at everything?
00:06:01.000 Like being a Woketopian sounds exhausting. 1.00
00:06:04.000 You have to be offended by what you see on television, what you see on the Internet, the things you hear, the jokes people tell, the snide remarks that may be made in a political speech.
00:06:14.000 It's just exhausting.
00:06:16.000 And so I guess if people are offended by my remarks, by my perspective, they can just be offended.
00:06:22.000 And you know what?
00:06:23.000 The world will still spin on its axis and hopefully we'll all be able to find a more appropriate way to honor the creation of life.
00:06:33.000 I really believe it dehumanizes our entire society when we allow these late term abortions, these elective abortions, these abortions that really are birth control, sadly, for far too many people.
00:06:47.000 The shrill vipers on The View had quite a perspective on my speech and my reaction to those questions.
00:06:55.000 Take a wait. Hold on. No, I want to I want to preview this the right way.
00:06:59.000 So this is this is The View host, Sarah Haynes.
00:07:02.000 OK, so Sarah Haynes, in reaction to my remarks, wants you to believe that there actually is no one who is pro abortion.
00:07:11.000 Take a listen.
00:07:14.000 I feel like comments like he made really leave no room for any intellectual conversation because he went so low on that.
00:07:22.000 But someone does need to tell him, one, nobody's pro abortion.
00:07:26.000 And like everyone is pro life.
00:07:31.000 God bless abortions and God bless America. 1.00
00:07:35.000 I'm killing them. 1.00
00:07:45.000 I'm killing the babies. 1.00
00:07:47.000 Abortion. 1.00
00:07:48.000 Abortion.
00:07:49.000 Pills.
00:07:50.000 Pills.
00:07:51.000 Forever.
00:07:52.000 Ever.
00:07:53.000 Without this basic right, women can't be free. 1.00
00:07:56.000 Abortion on demand and without apology.
00:07:59.000 Ladies, if you get pregnant, run on down to the abortion clinic. 1.00
00:08:04.000 And have that little bastard. 1.00
00:08:06.000 Shortly after Roe v. Wade, a black woman was able to have an abortion in Illinois. 1.00
00:08:13.000 She was in a relationship that wasn't right for her.
00:08:16.000 And it allowed her to move on and attend nursing school and marry a fellow student and have a child with him. 0.89
00:08:21.000 As my mother, that child was me.
00:08:23.000 And as my mother told me, Renee, I chose you.
00:08:26.000 I owe my life to an abortion.
00:08:29.000 He needs to realize most people that are pro choice are not fighting for themselves.
00:08:33.000 Imagine watching the view and not hate watching the view.
00:08:44.000 It's really quite something.
00:08:45.000 But as we make progress on embracing our humanity, on advancing the cause of life, being a pro life nation.
00:08:53.000 There is an area where we continue to see our country eroded, disrespected and violated.
00:08:59.000 And that is still on the southern border.
00:09:01.000 So I have an important report.
00:09:03.000 And this comes as the daily drumbeat from Republican conference chairwoman Elise Stefanik.
00:09:09.000 Hot numbers.
00:09:10.000 What's going on on the border right now?
00:09:12.000 There have now been over 500,000 known gotaways since the beginning of the fiscal year in October.
00:09:20.000 So remember, these are people where there is no screening, no checking for potentially being on a terrorist watch list,
00:09:26.000 potentially bringing in disease or other discord to our country.
00:09:31.000 Over 500,000 known gotaways.
00:09:34.000 In June, there were 207,416 migrant encounters at the southern border.
00:09:40.000 June was the fourth consecutive month of over 200,000 encounters.
00:09:45.000 I mean, we had a border that was overrun if in the course of a month you had 60,000 encounters.
00:09:51.000 I mean, now you're talking about 200,000 a month for the fourth straight month.
00:09:56.000 It's a 527% increase in apprehension compared to the last June of President Trump's administration.
00:10:06.000 So just during that period of time, you are seeing by a multiple of more than five of these encounters.
00:10:13.000 Human smuggling is now a $13 billion business for the criminal cartels supported by Joe Biden and open border policies.
00:10:22.000 Since Joe Biden took office, over 3.1 million illegal immigrants have been apprehended at the southern border.
00:10:29.000 In June, an additional six illegal immigrants at the southern border were on the terrorist watch list.
00:10:35.000 So just for fiscal year 2022, 56 apprehensions where the person is on the terrorist watch list.
00:10:42.000 I mean, that is just a crazy number when you consider having to apply then that ratio to the 500,000 gotaways and ascertain how many of those pose an even more elevated risk to our country.
00:10:55.000 Frankly, I think all the illegal immigrants pose a threat to our country, to our economy, to our jobs, to our way of life. 1.00
00:11:02.000 It doesn't mean they're bad people.
00:11:03.000 It doesn't even mean that if we weren't in their circumstances, we might try the same thing.
00:11:06.000 But we're Americans and thus we have an obligation to protect America.
00:11:10.000 It means more than finishing the wall.
00:11:12.000 It means ensuring that we deport people who are not in our country legally. 1.00
00:11:16.000 So far in fiscal year 2022, 8,400 pounds of fentanyl have been seized at the southern border by Border Patrol.
00:11:25.000 This is double the entire fiscal year for 2020.
00:11:29.000 So there's going to be a lot more death.
00:11:31.000 There are going to be a lot more funerals.
00:11:33.000 There's, you know, just a wave of fentanyl coming into the country.
00:11:38.000 And I talked to local law enforcement a lot of places.
00:11:41.000 They say you can literally tell when the cartels are doing the drop offs because they see it in the OD clinics.
00:11:47.000 They see it in the ERs.
00:11:49.000 They see it in our in our morgues, unfortunately.
00:11:52.000 So we can stop this.
00:11:54.000 They are they are not securing the border on purpose and people and harm is coming in as a consequence.
00:12:01.000 Another way the Biden administration is harming our country is by harming our military.
00:12:06.000 And we've covered a great deal how this, you know, white supremacy snipe hunt that the Biden administration seems to be on with our military is driving people out.
00:12:15.000 We've covered extensively how the vaccine mandate has driven people out.
00:12:19.000 The no vax, no service episode with Nick Cupper, certainly one of our best.
00:12:23.000 And that will delve into a lot of the very practical challenges that our service members continue to have with this vaccine mandate.
00:12:31.000 But now our military is being sacrificed on the altar of environmental wokeness.
00:12:38.000 Joe Biden is offering our nation's military essentially as a form of payment to the progressive wing of the Democratic Party.
00:12:46.000 In his latest prostration to the progressives, President Biden has directed the development of wind energy leasing in the waters of Florida's Gulf Coast.
00:12:57.000 Now, why is this important?
00:12:59.000 Florida's Gulf Coast is home to the critically important Eastern Gulf test and training range.
00:13:06.000 This is critical to our military readiness, national security and Florida's contribution to the fight.
00:13:13.000 What's even more worrisome is that Joe Biden's actions here to harm our military in the Gulf of Mexico and Florida and to sacrifice logic and reason on the altar of wokeness may be intentional for a few key reasons.
00:13:30.000 So the Eastern Gulf test and training range is a military training range unlike any other in the world.
00:13:36.000 It's a place where stuff happens that literally doesn't happen anywhere else.
00:13:40.000 In May of 2018, the Secretary of Defense submitted a report to the House Armed Services Committee acknowledging the importance and the uniqueness of Florida's Gulf Coast, calling it an irreplaceable national asset.
00:13:54.000 Moreover, at that time, DOD concluded, quote, no other area in the world provides the U.S. military with a surrogate environment for military operations in the Indo-Pacific theater.
00:14:08.000 As we've discussed, China is our nation's primary adversary.
00:14:12.000 Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, they're compromised by China.
00:14:16.000 And now you see Joe Biden depriving our military of its only training range capable of simulating the environment that we may ultimately have to fight in to preserve American hegemony.
00:14:29.000 But Beijing Biden doesn't seem to care.
00:14:32.000 While Biden aids and abets China and the Chinese Communist Party, he seems intent on dismantling and destroying Florida's cherished military mission.
00:14:42.000 The 96 test wing at Eglin Air Force Base oversees the expenditure of thousands of bombs and missiles annually on the range.
00:14:49.000 The range is becoming a hub of activity for supersonic and hypersonic weapons testing.
00:15:00.000 Now, this is a critical capability, and we've fallen behind China in this area.
00:15:05.000 Russia, in fact, is already deploying these weapons systems, using them in battle.
00:15:11.000 The United States Special Operations Command runs its largest joint special operations exercise, Emerald Warrior, on this very range.
00:15:21.000 The range supports training for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City.
00:15:26.000 That's tied to the mission at Tyndall Air Force Base.
00:15:30.000 Naval Air Station Key West also could be affected.
00:15:33.000 They need the Gulf Preserve for our military, not as a wind farm.
00:15:37.000 The preservation of this range space for testing and training is clearly in the interests of all Floridians.
00:15:44.000 Experimental hypersonic missiles should not be flying over oil rigs,
00:15:48.000 and I don't think that special operators should be parachuting into windmill farms.
00:15:53.000 I can't even believe I have to say that out loud.
00:15:55.000 Why would Joe Biden deliberately diminish our nation's military readiness and destroy Florida's military mission?
00:16:02.000 I think there are a few motives that are on display.
00:16:06.000 First, Joe Biden's strings are being pulled by the progressives, the very same progressives who naively push the so-called Green New Deal,
00:16:15.000 no matter the cost to our country or to our economy or to our security.
00:16:20.000 For decades, Congress and the executive branch have worked together to protect the Gulf of Mexico range from new oil and gas drilling in the name of military readiness.
00:16:30.000 This is a policy I continue to support every day.
00:16:33.000 It's a policy that President Trump supported when he issued an executive order banning drilling off of Florida's coast.
00:16:39.000 A big reason for that was this critical, sensitive, nowhere else in the world military mission.
00:16:44.000 However, when oil rigs turn into windmills, it serves the progressive climate agenda.
00:16:53.000 And the true nature of the Democrats' intentions becomes clear.
00:16:58.000 They never cared about military readiness or our national security.
00:17:01.000 They just didn't want to drill for oil.
00:17:03.000 These are the same people who want to radically reduce your defense budget.
00:17:07.000 Keep that in mind.
00:17:08.000 There's another potential motive here.
00:17:10.000 The progressive Democrats who control Joe Biden are running a campaign right now to siphon military mission and military capability
00:17:20.000 and the revenue and economic development that comes with that away from red states and to blue states.
00:17:28.000 Biden appointed bureaucrats in the Department of Defense are crafting policies which will allow service members to leave red states or not take orders to red states if they disagree with their laws.
00:17:40.000 They want to create this new like fighting woke-topian funneling the power and money that they can to them and away from bases in Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma.
00:17:54.000 And if they succeed in diminishing the military mission in red states, if they succeed in damaging the eastern Gulf range off the coast of Florida, it provides them yet another vector to move mission and capabilities to their states and their districts. 0.80
00:18:11.000 We Floridians should not stand for this deliberate effort to destroy our state's military mission and our country's national security.
00:18:19.000 I assure you that we will not stop fighting on this issue.
00:18:23.000 In letters I've sent to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall, I asked them to provide me their plan to preserve and protect this national gem from the intrusion of the progressives and the Green New Dealers who are intent on destroying our capabilities. 0.90
00:18:40.000 I am fighting to protect this range and Florida's military mission through legislation as well.
00:18:46.000 All proud Floridians need to write their elected officials and demand that we protect our treasured military mission and that we not look out at a wind farm instead.
00:18:55.000 If we fail, we'll be less safe as a nation and our military mission and our communities that support that mission could become endangered.
00:19:05.000 Now, Tucker Carlson had a recent speech where he addressed some of the fallacies of wind as a great panacea for the environment.
00:19:14.000 Take a listen to Tucker in Des Moines, Iowa.
00:19:18.000 They're able to think of these schemes that, in fact, destroy the environment.
00:19:24.000 And by the environment, I mean the land because they don't care about beauty.
00:19:28.000 What's beautiful? Is a wind turbine beautiful? No.
00:19:31.000 Actually, rivers are beautiful. Gardenias are beautiful.
00:19:34.000 Springer Spaniel faces are beautiful. Children are beautiful. The sky is beautiful.
00:19:38.000 These are not things that people made. These are things that God made.
00:19:41.000 We're back live. Information Warlord on Rumble says, windmills don't last long in a saltwater environment.
00:19:50.000 They also won't survive a hurricane.
00:19:52.000 Yeah. Can you just imagine after the Florida hurricane, the windmill component parts that are flying around?
00:19:58.000 That is a very, very good point.
00:20:00.000 Let's see. Gilbert Barb says, late to the party, but Matt, you are the man.
00:20:05.000 And Clyde says, I'm still chuckled about be offended. Matt's wit is quick and sharp, LOL.
00:20:13.000 Well, I think it is insane to trade our military mission for this wind mission.
00:20:19.000 And we don't want our paratroopers jumping into wind turbines.
00:20:22.000 We don't want the migratory birds that need Florida as an ecosystem and habitat to be flown into like the bird wood chipper of wind turbines.
00:20:32.000 And I think that the mix we have of protecting our environment wisely, having good resilience where we need to against flooding and then supporting our military mission has led to the prosperity in Florida that is making Florida America's destination.
00:20:46.000 And we should not screw that up for Joe Biden and the Green Dealers. 1.00
00:20:51.000 Thanks, everyone, so much for watching.
