00:00:00.000 Yesterday, ex comedian Jon Stewart looked into the camera and told you not to worry about the Democratic Socialists of America.
00:00:07.000 He said they're just a bunch of enthusiastic kids who are just, you know, gung ho about affordability.
00:00:13.000 Sure, those cute little squirts get a little over agitated.
00:00:16.000 They start jabbering about communist revolution from time to time, but they're really just naive, smart, energetic youngins who are concerned about affordability.
00:00:24.000 He is lying to you.
00:00:26.000 The Democratic Socialists of America are winning because they are promoting actual evil, not in spite of it.
00:00:31.000 Because of it. 0.81
00:00:32.000 The support for 9-11, the hatred of free markets, the love of China and the Palestinians. 1.00
00:00:37.000 This is who they are. 1.00
00:00:38.000 That is their pitch. 1.00
00:00:39.000 The affordability stuff, that's just cover so that useful idiots like Jon Stewart can pretend that they are not revolutionaries determined to tear down America and the West. 1.00
00:00:47.000 The evil is the actual product. 1.00
00:00:49.000 It's the whole thing.
00:00:50.000 The New Democratic Party is being built around it.
00:00:53.000 It is the jet fuel.
00:00:54.000 It is the nuclear reactor of the left-wing machine.
00:00:57.000 And it's being driven by a very hardcore of very specific people.
00:01:01.000 Americans with lots of education and no money.
00:01:04.000 Overeducated brokies, people who believe that they are owed everything and have earned nothing. 0.80
00:01:09.000 This is The Ben Shapiro Show. 0.95
00:01:18.000 Okay, so yesterday, Jon Stewart, you remember him?
00:01:20.000 He's that 63 year old ex comedian who still masquerades as a cool, hip 40 year old who makes funny faces at the camera.
00:01:26.000 Well, anyway, Jon Stewart did a rather fascinating interview insisting that the Democratic Socialists of America aren't actually the evil communists they pretend to be.
00:01:36.000 No, says Jon Stewart, these are just good hearted people who don't actually mean what they say.
00:01:41.000 They're not popular because they're evil, they're popular because they just have so much energy around affordability. 0.94
00:01:49.000 We're in that same bull place now where all these new ideas, suddenly the Democrats are, these democratic socialists, they're crazy.
00:01:56.000 And you're like, well, but that generally their crazy ideas aren't where the energy is.
00:02:01.000 The energy isn't around, like, we shouldn't have prisons or borders.
00:02:06.000 The energy is around a belief that they're economic populism.
00:02:11.000 And when you call it socialism, I think it's a misnomer, like in the same way that if you call Social Security socialism, that's kind of a misnomer.
00:02:21.000 Okay, wrong, as we'll explain in a moment.
00:02:24.000 Just totally wrong.
00:02:25.000 Now, Stewart isn't the only liberal who's been doing this sort of pretzel routine, pretzeling himself into weird contortions in order to avoid the reality, which is that the Democratic Socialists of America are actually evil communists who are using the affordability schmear in order to hide their actual agenda.
00:02:41.000 Barack Obama did this with Stephen Colbert, you'll recall, just a few weeks ago.
00:02:46.000 You look at somebody like Mamdani, who I think is an extraordinary talent.
00:02:51.000 He wants people to be able to afford housing in New York.
00:02:55.000 Well, you know, I would assume liberals in New York want the same thing.
00:03:02.000 And so I don't worry as much about some of these issues within the Democratic Party.
00:03:12.000 What I'm more interested in for Democrats is do you know how to just talk to regular people like we're not in a college seminar, right?
00:03:23.000 Can you talk plain English to folks about it? 0.50
00:03:26.000 I think that's one of the powers that Mamdani has.
00:03:28.000 That's correct. 0.89
00:03:29.000 Is that he also, not only does he talk like a normal person, but he lives a normal life, but he also names what is obviously wrong.
00:03:36.000 Yes.
00:03:37.000 And he goes, we should change that thing.
00:03:39.000 That doesn't make any sense and not have a bunch of gobbledygook around it.
00:03:46.000 Okay, understand the traditional Democrats, they must say this.
00:03:50.000 They must say this.
00:03:51.000 They have to, because if they don't say this, they're endorsing the evil of the people they're actually endorsing, right?
00:03:58.000 Zarmamdani doesn't talk like a regular person. 0.75
00:04:00.000 He talks like a dude who just emerged from a Bowdoin seminar on the Middle East, which is what he is.
00:04:06.000 Zarmamdani is not a man of the people. 0.94
00:04:08.000 He is an overeducated brokey who ended up as mayor of New York after a totally unsuccessful rapping career.
00:04:15.000 But the traditional libs, they have to pretend this is all some sort of big joke, a giant radical cosplay.
00:04:20.000 The real Zarmamdani isn't radical.
00:04:21.000 He's just overenthusiastic. 0.99
00:04:23.000 Hassan Piker isn't an anti American piece of trash. 0.99
00:04:26.000 He's just overzealous. 0.96
00:04:27.000 Because if the traditional Democrats admit the opposite, that the Democratic Socialists of America are actually evil, and now they're just passengers on that bus, that they are now fellow travelers with the evil, that gets really awkward.
00:04:38.000 Remember, John Stewart is a lot of things.
00:04:40.000 I despise John Stewart as a personality.
00:04:42.000 I think John Stewart has more to do with the devolution of political talk in America than nearly any figure in American history.
00:04:49.000 I truly believe that John Stewart's reduction of political thought in America to funny faces And clips, as opposed to, you know, explication of actual issues, is one of the things that broke American political commentary.
00:05:01.000 But you can't say that Jon Stewart sort of hates America in the same way that Sazor Mamdani does.
00:05:07.000 Remember, it was Jon Stewart who has spent an enormous amount of his career talking about 9 11 first responders and trying to get additional benefits for them.
00:05:16.000 And I am awfully tired of hearing that it's a 9 11 New York issue.
00:05:21.000 Al Qaeda didn't shout death to Tribeca.
00:05:28.000 They attacked America, and these men and women and their response to it is what brought our country back. 0.82
00:05:38.000 It's what gave a reeling nation a solid foundation to stand back upon, to remind us.
00:05:45.000 Of why this country is great, of why this country is worth fighting for, and you are ignoring them.
00:05:54.000 Okay, so again, this was a big cause for Stewart, and I didn't like even how he approached this cause in terms of federalism, but that was a cause of his.
00:06:02.000 So, how exactly does he make common cause with people like, for example, Zarn Mamdani or Hassan Piker, a man who says that America deserved 9 11?
00:06:11.000 This was Hassan Piker in August 2019.
00:06:15.000 So insane. 0.74
00:06:18.000 America deserved 9 11, dude. 1.00
00:06:20.000 Fuck it. 1.00
00:06:21.000 I'm saying it. 1.00
00:06:23.000 Okay, and this is the same guy who, again, hasn't changed his opinions.
00:06:27.000 On Monday, he literally hung a picture of 9 11, a newspaper from 9 12, 2001, in his studio and bragged about it.
00:06:37.000 Not because it commemorated the tragedy of 9 11.
00:06:40.000 Again, he says America deserved it.
00:06:42.000 He's sitting there with Cuban and Chinese flags in the background.
00:06:45.000 And here he is explaining on Monday.
00:06:48.000 Also, you might have noticed something, some changes behind me.
00:06:54.000 I finally framed the Cutie Cinderella newspaper from 9 11, the morning of 9 12, the newspaper right there, the newspaper that covered 9 11.
00:07:06.000 It's now officially sitting behind me, and I moved the North Korean poster up in place of the fan art.
00:07:20.000 So again, how do traditional Democrats deal with this?
00:07:22.000 With the fact that they have a coalition that is now being led by people who truly despise America.
00:07:26.000 How does John Stewart, who stood up for American first responders on 9 11, deal with the fact that Hassan Piker is now a leader of his movement, a man who says America deserved 9 11 and has an actual newspaper from 9 12 sitting behind him?
00:07:38.000 So the only way for John Stewart and people like him to live with the obvious conflicts, with the cognitive dissonance, is to pretend that Hassan Piker is cosplaying.
00:07:45.000 He doesn't mean it.
00:07:46.000 And Zar Mamdani doesn't mean any of this. 1.00
00:07:48.000 But they all do. 1.00
00:07:49.000 Because here's the thing.
00:07:50.000 These are not blue collar people who are upset about their economic circumstances and just turning to economic populism.
00:07:56.000 That is a lie.
00:07:57.000 That is not what they are.
00:07:59.000 In fact, the proletariat in the United States have never been the seedbed of socialist revolution, ever, ever, ever.
00:08:05.000 By the way, they've never been the seedbed of revolution literally anywhere.
00:08:08.000 The people who always lead the socialist revolution are radicals, over educated radicals, people who generally spring from the upper middle class.
00:08:17.000 And in America, there are people who are over educated in hatred for America.
00:08:21.000 So I have stats to prove this.
00:08:23.000 Coming up, we're going to get into some stats about the DSA that kind of tell you who they are and what they do.
00:08:27.000 But the stats don't tell you everything.
00:08:28.000 See, when you're a parent, you stop thinking in terms of odds and stats.
00:08:32.000 You start thinking in terms of absolute responsibility.
00:08:35.000 Most days are going to be fine, but your job as a parent is to make sure that nothing happens on any day.
00:08:39.000 It's one of the reasons we are excited to partner with Simply Safe.
00:08:42.000 Several people here at Daily Wire have used Simply Safe.
00:08:44.000 The feedback is remarkably consistent.
00:08:46.000 The thing they appreciate most is that it isn't just another alarm that goes off after somebody's already broken in.
00:08:51.000 Simply Safe's outdoor camera series 2 uses advanced AI to identify real threats on your property.
00:08:56.000 And then connects you to US based live agents who can actually help deter crime before a break in even happens.
00:09:01.000 That is a much smarter approach.

00:09:29.000 So, Nate Silver at 538 recently did a study of some stats from the Cooperative Election Study.
00:09:36.000 This study surveyed some 400,000 voters from 2015, 2016, through 2025.
00:09:41.000 And I want to go through them because they're really interesting.
00:09:43.000 So here is one chart.
00:09:45.000 It shows how income and education affect presidential voting. 0.88
00:09:49.000 The group of people who are by far the most likely to vote Democrat from 2016 to 2024 are people who were highly educated brokies. 0.85
00:10:02.000 If you were making $30,000 to $60,000 a year and you were a post grad in terms of your education, 70% rate of voting for the Democratic presidential candidate. 0.96
00:10:14.000 The group of people who are the least likely to vote Democrat were people with a high school degree or less who made a lot of money.
00:10:23.000 Which again makes perfect sense.
00:10:24.000 The people who are the most educated, who believe that they are owed the most by the system, but earn the least, vote Democrat the most.
00:10:31.000 The people who didn't go to college, who believe that they are owed nothing and then do really well, those people vote Republican.
00:10:40.000 Nate Silver points out, based on this grid, what is the most Democratic voting group in America?
00:10:44.000 It's voters with postgraduate degrees, but lower to middle household incomes of 30 to 60 grand per year.
00:10:49.000 This is also very much the sweet spot for the DSA.
00:10:52.000 In the group's most recent member survey in 2021, 80% of members aged 25 or older had bachelor's degrees, but 45% had household incomes below $60,000 per year.
00:11:02.000 By contrast, who are the most Republican voters in the country?
00:11:05.000 It's not necessarily voters with a lot of economic anxiety.
00:11:08.000 Rather, it's the precise opposite corner from the DSA high earners who didn't attend college.
00:11:14.000 Derek Thompson of The Atlantic pointed out on X According to the DSA's own surveys, the share of members who are millennials.
00:11:20.000 Rose from 7% in 2013 to 60% in 2021.
00:11:24.000 If you include old Gen Z and young Gen X, I'll bet 80% of the DSA is between 18 and 45.
00:11:30.000 DSA is extremely millennialish.
00:11:33.000 Many things happening here, but one thing is that the Great Recession made self-described socialists out of a lot of millennials.
00:11:39.000 Okay, so who are you talking about here?
00:11:41.000 The high education, low income people.
00:11:44.000 That's the group. 0.55
00:11:45.000 The high education, low income people are the people leading the revolution.
00:11:48.000 Another chart from Silver.
00:11:50.000 Talks about relative levels of liberalism.
00:11:52.000 21% of people who are post grad and make between 30 and 60 grand a year identify as very, very liberal.
00:12:02.000 You know who doesn't identify as very liberal along any spectrum?
00:12:06.000 People with a high school degree or less.
00:12:08.000 It doesn't matter how poor they are, by the way.
00:12:11.000 It does not matter how poor they are.
00:12:12.000 You can be poor and not college educated and you still do not identify as very liberal. 1.00
00:12:18.000 The revolution is always led by over educated brokies. 1.00
00:12:21.000 This has always been true. 1.00
00:12:22.000 Always. 0.99
00:12:23.000 It was true of Hitler. 0.80
00:12:24.000 It was true of Lenin.
00:12:25.000 It was true of Mao.
00:12:26.000 It is true of all the revolutionaries.
00:12:28.000 The philosopher Eric Hoffer broke down potential revolutionaries into a few groups.
00:12:32.000 I talk about this in my book, Lions and Scavengers.
00:12:35.000 First, the vengeful, people who believe they were unfairly deprived of success and who have a lot of free time.
00:12:41.000 If you're a working poor person, you do not have time for the revolution.
00:12:44.000 You have to be a person who has a lot of free time and you believe that you are deprived of success.
00:12:48.000 Think here of like Bernie Sanders.
00:12:51.000 People who are alienated.
00:12:53.000 This is people like Tsar Mamdani.
00:12:55.000 People who are members of a partially assimilated group feel that they're stuck between two worlds. 0.61
00:13:00.000 There's a historian named Mary Matassian who explains that intellectuals in colonialized countries are usually a particularly good breeding ground for dissatisfied revolutionaries.
00:13:10.000 She says, The intellectual may resent the West, but since he is already at least partly Westernized, to reject the West completely would be to deny part of himself.
00:13:18.000 He feels that something must be done and done fast.
00:13:21.000 The assaulted intellectual works hard to make invidious comparisons between his own nation and the West.
00:13:25.000 Think here, again, of people like Zarn Mamdani or Ilhan Omar.
00:13:30.000 Then there are the unappreciated.
00:13:31.000 These are the pseudo intellectual, the artistically unsuccessful, the people who believe their talents are unappreciated by their supposed inferiors.
00:13:38.000 These are the people who got a post grad degree in lesbian nance theory at the university and thought they were going to make $300,000 a year by lecturing people on culture and now make $30,000 a year.
00:13:49.000 And finally, there are the bored.
00:13:50.000 These are people who actually are not part of the struggle.
00:13:53.000 They don't have families, they're just engaged from the larger community, and they have a lot of time on their hands.
00:13:57.000 These would be like university students who joined the revolution.
00:14:01.000 Now, understand this coalition of scavengers, these people, the high education, low income group, these people are not upset because people cannot afford things.
00:14:13.000 That's a lever for power.
00:14:14.000 It always is a lever for power.
00:14:17.000 Always.
00:14:17.000 If the economy is bad and Democrats are in charge, Republicans run on affordability.
00:14:21.000 And if the economy is bad and Republicans are in charge, Democrats run on affordability.
00:14:25.000 Donald Trump ran on affordability in 2024, and Democrats ran on affordability in 2020.
00:14:30.000 What's going on right now is that the people. who have years of education and useless idiocy have turned their seething resentment into a movement. 0.98
00:14:40.000 They have decided that they have been deprived by society. 0.98
00:14:43.000 And now that resentment means that 9 11 was not bad and that Mao maybe was good.
00:14:49.000 Now listen, for some of these people, maybe it's not totally their fault.
00:14:52.000 It is true that we have been sold in the United States a really, really big lie for generations that the best way to get ahead or maybe the only way to get ahead is to go to college.
00:15:00.000 That's a category error.
00:15:02.000 The best way to get ahead is to cultivate a skill set and then make intelligent decisions About the life in front of you.
00:15:07.000 But we've been told that college is kind of the shortcut.
00:15:09.000 So, I mean, like, literally down to board games that you play when you're a kid.
00:15:12.000 So I play the game of life with my kids.
00:15:15.000 And in the game of life, there are two paths.
00:15:17.000 One is the college path and one is the not college path.
00:15:19.000 The not college path is shorter.
00:15:21.000 You get to the end of the game faster.
00:15:24.000 But at the same time, the college path gives you access to a bunch of jobs you wouldn't have had if you went the high school path.
00:15:29.000 And so you choose the college path.
00:15:31.000 So everyone was told, go to college since basically World War II.
00:15:34.000 And universities, who suddenly had a gigantic influx of people coming into college, many of them unqualified to be in college,
00:15:56.000 So now you are churning out dispossessed college graduates convinced not that their college screwed them out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, but that the system, capitalism screwed them, that America large scale screwed them.
00:16:09.000 As Nate Silver says, I'm reminded here of Peter Turchin's elite overproduction hypothesis.
00:16:15.000 It basically argues that America is producing too many college graduates relative to the number of high prestige, well paying jobs available to them.
00:16:22.000 People who wind up in this situation often carry heavy student loan burdens or other sorts of debt.
00:16:27.000 Even if their material situation is objectively just fine, it's rarely great.
00:16:31.000 They're gloomy about their own financial prospects and they feel aggrieved about the state of the country.
00:16:35.000 Their class status is ambiguous, privileged in some senses, but they're part of the have nots in other meaningful ways. 0.97
00:16:42.000 And this is right. 0.99
00:16:44.000 This is right.
00:16:45.000 Over educated people who live unhappy lives.
00:16:49.000 And they manifest this as a sort of revolutionary cosplay.
00:16:54.000 There's some fascinating clips that come out from Caleb Hammer's show.
00:16:58.000 Caleb Hammer is a sort of financial advisor online.
00:17:01.000 His show is really entertaining.
00:17:03.000 Here he was taking on a self described socialist who calls herself Doomsday, who cut off her parents because they quote unquote chose fascism.
00:17:15.000 A weird fake name.
00:17:16.000 Chosen for me, but.
00:17:17.000 Your parents named you that?
00:17:19.000 My chosen family did.
00:17:24.000 Could you choose to be a family?
00:17:24.000 It's cool.
00:17:26.000 Well, in the queer community, yeah, you don't always get to maintain your most close relatives, your blood relatives.
00:17:34.000 So, like, you build.
00:17:34.000 Do parents miss you?
00:17:36.000 No.
00:17:37.000 Well, it sounds like you maintain them.
00:17:37.000 No.
00:17:39.000 I do not speak with my parents.
00:17:42.000 You chose.
00:17:43.000 They did not choose.
00:17:44.000 Their decisions have made our relationship what it is today.
00:17:49.000 What did they choose?
00:17:51.000 They chose extremism over their child.
00:17:56.000 Okay, says the blue hair.
00:17:57.000 Got it.
00:17:57.000 Okay.
00:17:58.000 Which usually qualifies towards more extreme people.
00:18:01.000 Usually, what's their extremism?
00:18:03.000 Their extremes are just not very minority inclusive, despite what they might say.
00:18:09.000 Their actions say otherwise.
00:18:11.000 What's their actions that are so extreme? 0.89
00:18:13.000 They kill minorities?
00:18:15.000 They're not helping them. 0.97
00:18:16.000 Well, not helping's extreme?
00:18:18.000 Well, what's helping?
00:18:20.000 We've had extended conversations about.
00:18:25.000 What politics looks like in the world, and when they discuss it, the things that they say or choose not to say are pretty detrimental.
00:18:39.000 Okay, so again, this is the type that college is churning out. 0.98
00:18:41.000 This lady, by the way, did go to college, but then dropped out. 1.00
00:18:44.000 She was in college for a couple of years, did not finish her degree, apparently. 1.00
00:18:49.000 And she had invested in a joint business that yielded no returns.
00:18:54.000 She's had legal trouble.
00:18:56.000 This is the seedbed for the revolution, right?
00:18:58.000 This is what it is.
00:18:59.000 All right.
00:18:59.000 Coming up.
00:19:00.000 So how is the DSA selecting their candidates? 0.96
00:19:02.000 I mean, again, they're selecting their candidates among the biggest losers in America. 0.73
00:19:07.000 That is not really even an exaggeration. 0.67
00:19:09.000 We'll get to that in just a moment.
00:19:11.000 First, when I talk about deals on this show, I'm usually not a person who's like, you need to buy right now.

00:20:10.000 puretalk.com slash Shapiro.
00:20:12.000 So what does this mean for democratic candidates?
00:20:14.000 Well, one indicator that the revolutionaries are in charge is that you have to prove that you are a good destroyer of the system, that you are one of the governing class to be a member of the new democratic governing class. 0.98
00:20:26.000 You have to be overeducated and you have to be a brokey. 0.99
00:20:29.000 It is the only way to prove that you have skin in the game against the system. 0.99
00:20:33.000 This is a problem for some of the Democratic candidates.
00:20:35.000 Right now, if you're aspiring for office, then you need to be highly educated, poor, and preferably have some sort of third world background. 1.00
00:20:42.000 That is the thing you're looking for to be part of the revolution. 1.00
00:20:45.000 So, for example, it's fascinating.
00:20:47.000 Look at Abdul El Sayed.
00:20:49.000 Abdul El Sayed fills some of these categories, right?
00:20:52.000 His family came to the United States from a third world country.
00:20:55.000 He hates America.
00:20:56.000 So he's got some of this down. 0.77
00:20:57.000 He is over educated, but, but despite the fact that he is jihadi friendly, again, that's a benefit, he does have nice watches. 0.97
00:21:06.000 That's the thing that's hurting him right now is the nice watch.
00:21:08.000 Among Democratic voters, the big problem for him is he might be too rich.
00:21:12.000 Bernie Sanders' biggest flaw for these people is that he has a lake house. 0.97
00:21:16.000 Not that he is a communist jackass who's been a complete leech for the, like, that's the draw. 1.00
00:21:21.000 The draw is the communist jackass who's been a leech. 1.00
00:21:24.000 Being not wealthy is the pitch. 0.99
00:21:25.000 By the way, it's not even being blue collar.
00:21:27.000 It's not even blue collar solidarity.
00:21:29.000 Abdul Al Sayed is not somebody who's laying brick.
00:21:33.000 Bernie Sanders is not a pipe fitter.
00:21:35.000 It's not about being blue collar.
00:21:37.000 It's about being left behind by the system, especially for people who grew up rich and privileged.
00:21:42.000 So if you grew up rich or privileged, like Zorhan Mamdani or middle class, top of middle class, like AOC, and then claim that you were dispossessed, this is skin in the game.
00:21:50.000 This, by the way, is why Rokhana is an awkward fit.
00:21:53.000 He's way too rich.
00:21:54.000 J.B. Pritzker, awkward fit.
00:21:55.000 Way too rich.
00:21:56.000 It's why Gavin Newsom is trying to cosplay as a kid who grew up in poverty rather than rich.
00:22:01.000 It's always been sort of a weird political oddity.
00:22:04.000 And none of our candidates used to do this.
00:22:06.000 If you go back to the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, even 70s, it wasn't a thing that candidates would go around talking about how they grew up poor and are still poor.
00:22:15.000 But now that's a thing.
00:22:18.000 So Zoran Momdani is a great example of this class, right? 0.67
00:22:21.000 Zoran Momdani's educational background is elite, he was totally useless his entire life.
00:22:26.000 He is currently not rich.
00:22:28.000 And he's supposedly a third world victim of America, despite the fact that his family are some of the greatest beneficiaries of America ever.
00:22:34.000 So he's got all the elements you'd want from a revolutionary.
00:22:38.000 The thing driving the DSA, the thing that Stewart and Obama refuse to acknowledge, because if they acknowledge it, they have to recognize that they are in the passenger seat on the revolutionary car that is headed for the cliff.
00:22:50.000 The thing that drives the DSA is absolute, utter hatred of America, combined with a belief that success itself is evidence of evil.
00:23:00.000 This is why Zorn Momdani spends an enormous amount of time talking about the Middle East.
00:23:05.000 It's why he spends an enormous amount of effort targeting, say, Ken Griffin.
00:23:08.000 It's why he spends an enormous amount of time targeting specific landlords with dark night rises type administrative courts.
00:23:16.000 He's not focused on affordability.
00:23:18.000 What does Benjamin Netanyahu have to do with affordability?
00:23:21.000 Affordability is not the thing.
00:23:23.000 Tearing down the system is the thing to Zorn Momdani's supporters, to his voters.
00:23:28.000 The energy is not about him saying affordability.
00:23:31.000 Elise Slotkin over in Michigan talks about affordability.
00:23:34.000 Have you heard of her?
00:23:36.000 The answer is no.
00:23:37.000 In fact, most Democrats have talked routinely my entire life about two Americas.
00:23:42.000 John Edwards used to do this.
00:23:43.000 That's nothing new.
00:23:45.000 The thing that is new is the hatred of the system.
00:23:47.000 It is the equation of success with evil.
00:23:51.000 And it is the identification with foreign third worldist ideologies that despise the West, which is why, again, yesterday, Zaran Momdani.
00:24:00.000 So he, he had, it's all a cosplay for Zaran Momdani when it comes to actual exercise of power.
00:24:05.000 Zaran Momdani never had the authority as mayor of New York to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu.
00:24:08.000 The Prime Minister of Israel traveling to the UN.
00:24:10.000 He never had the authority to do this, never had the legal authority.
00:24:13.000 Momdani kept saying it.
00:24:14.000 So yesterday, he had to come out and say that he doesn't have the legal authority, but he did get to say mean things about Netanyahu, which is the thing you want from the New York mayor commenting on Middle Eastern policy.
00:24:27.000 As I've said, I agree with the ICC that Benjamin Netanyahu should be arrested and tried for his crimes, as I do for anyone else charged by the ICC.
00:24:37.000 My administration has reviewed every avenue available under applicable law.
00:24:41.000 To determine whether New York City could execute the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant if Benjamin Netanyahu came here.
00:24:48.000 It is clear that we do not have the independent legal authority to enforce this warrant.
00:24:52.000 The federal government, however, does.
00:24:54.000 And I call on them to join the ICC and execute this warrant.
00:24:58.000 And I want to be equally.
00:24:59.000 Oh, he's calling on things.
00:25:00.000 Benjamin Netanyahu is not welcome in New York City, nor is any other war criminal at large.
00:25:06.000 Well, I mean, I noticed that you are not threatening to arrest any of the other people who are actually under charge by the ICC.
00:25:11.000 There's only one.
00:25:13.000 Okay, here's the thing.
00:25:14.000 Mamdani's political theater around Netanyahu is about the love of loserdom.
00:25:19.000 That is what it is.
00:25:20.000 The reason that the DSA and the far left have decided to use the Palestinians as a moral litmus test is because if you can take the most self created losing group on planet Earth, the Palestinians, who have now turned down a wide variety of peace offers over the course of literally decades, voted consistently for terrorists, openly root for the genocide of the Jews, openly support violence against civilians, and are thus unsuccessful. 0.58
00:25:44.000 Okay, that's the actual story there.
00:25:46.000 And if you somehow turn them into victims, if you, if you somehow invert this, that's putting true ideological skin in the game, man.
00:25:52.000 If you can somehow turn Israel defending itself against genocidal Hamas terrorists into the bad guys, if you can somehow say that Israel was pursuing a genocide while going house to house in Gaza, minimizing civilian casualties, and meanwhile, Palestinian civilians who were very involved in 10-7 are suddenly the innocent victims of all this, and not the innocent victims of Hamas using them as Actual human shields, but the innocent victims of Israel, you're inverting reality in revolutionary ways.
00:26:20.000 And that's the pitch.
00:26:22.000 That's the actual pitch.
00:26:23.000 Not affordability.
00:26:24.000 Not affordability.
00:26:25.000 Jon Stewart is lying to you.
00:26:26.000 Barack Obama is lying to you.
00:26:27.000 They are not receiving enthusiasm because they say affordability over and over and over.
00:26:31.000 Okay, but here's the thing.
00:26:33.000 The DSA has a problem.
00:26:35.000 If the DSA is chiefly overeducated, largely white people who don't earn a lot of money, if that is sort of the core group, there are just not that many overeducated poor people in America.
00:26:47.000 There just aren't.
00:26:47.000 That is not a great seedbed.
00:26:50.000 So that means that the DSA has a racial problem.
00:26:54.000 The DSA has a real class problem.
00:26:56.000 It turns out that a lot of people who, say, went to high school and do not like socialism, those people aren't going to be fond of the DSA.
00:27:02.000 So now the DSA is swiveling directly into old style racial pandering.
00:27:07.000 So Abdul Al Sayed, who is really suffering in his primary against Haley Stevens in Michigan because black voters don't like him, he's putting out tweets like, quote, black women have to work an extra seven months to earn what white men earn in a year.
00:27:20.000 Equal work deserves equal pay.
00:27:21.000 So, I'm just going to point out that that is not true. 0.77
00:27:23.000 The only way that you can make that statistic plausibly true is if you just take, in aggregate, black female wages and white male wages. 0.93
00:27:33.000 But that you'd have to ignore the number of hours worked, you'd have to ignore the type of job, you'd have to ignore the education level, you'd have to ignore time in the workforce, you'd have to ignore all the other confounding factors in order to get to that dumbass statistic. 0.96
00:27:43.000 But the reason El Sayed is doing that is because El Sayed is really, really lagging among black voters. 0.95
00:27:49.000 She is losing black voters 67 to 21.
00:27:51.000 And there's a problem for the DSA.
00:27:55.000 James Tallarico is experiencing something very similar. 0.94
00:27:58.000 His radical brand of liberalism is not appealing to black people. 0.79
00:28:03.000 So Tallarico is trying to cosplay now as like a traditional Texan. 0.79
00:28:07.000 You know, he's the kind of guy who rides a horse, he likes trucks.
00:28:13.000 I've not seen anything so unconvincing since Michael Dukakis rode a tank.
00:28:20.000 Across Texas, people are waking up before the sun, working hard, stretching every dollar.
00:28:26.000 I was born to one of those people, a single mom guided by faith who did whatever it took to provide for me.
00:28:33.000 As a teacher, I saw families doing everything right and still falling behind.
00:28:37.000 In the statehouse, I brought both parties together to lower drug costs and cut property taxes.
00:28:42.000 I'm James Tallarico, and I approve this message because I'll take on corruption and make this economy work for working people again.
00:28:51.000 Okay, there's only one problem with all this.
00:28:53.000 No one believes this. 0.97
00:28:54.000 And black voters, by the way, are not in love with James Tallarico, which is why, presumably, a black lady was screaming at Tallarico at a town hall that black people don't trust him. 0.94
00:29:02.000 I mean, I wonder why. 0.98
00:29:06.000 You stay here, you answer our questions, or you suffer the consequences.
00:29:14.000 I'm happy to engage.
00:29:15.000 We'll come to here in just a second.
00:29:17.000 I appreciate you being here, and I appreciate you traveling in.
00:29:21.000 And I appreciate you.
00:29:22.000 I'm here for my people, not for you.
00:29:26.000 Wonderful.
00:29:27.000 That's wonderful.
00:29:29.000 That's wonderful.
00:29:30.000 It's all right, it's all right.
00:29:30.000 And.
00:29:32.000 This is what this conversation is supposed to be about.
00:29:35.000 Yeah.
00:29:38.000 So, what does Tellerico have to do?
00:29:39.000 Tellerico then has to start with the pandering, the Kamala Harris type pandering.
00:29:43.000 Here we go with James Tellerico talking about how the police are bad.
00:29:47.000 Law enforcement is here to serve us, it is here to protect us.
00:29:54.000 And too often, we see law enforcement weaponized against black and brown communities in this state.
00:30:01.000 We have a deeply broken justice system, we have a deeply broken approach to policing.
00:30:09.000 So, again, The DSA, the far left of the Democratic Party, has a problem.
00:30:13.000 They have a problem.
00:30:14.000 It is a very, very real problem.
00:30:18.000 And that problem is not going away anytime soon.
00:30:21.000 Now, again, it doesn't mean that black voters are going to start turning toward the Republicans.
00:30:25.000 It does mean that in a contest between non DSA candidates and DSA candidates in, say, presidential primaries, it's going to be a problem. 0.88
00:30:31.000 Jasmine Crockett, by the way, wildly overperformed in her Texas Senate primary against James Tallarico. 1.00
00:30:37.000 Here's Jasmine Crockett doing her thing. 0.99
00:30:40.000 At a House committee hearing on the Smithsonian and its racial bias.
00:30:47.000 Here she was suggesting that this was actually a Republican white pride rally.
00:30:53.000 Thank you, Mr. Chair.
00:30:55.000 Welcome to the Republicans' white pride rally disguised as a congressional hearing.
00:31:02.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:31:03.000 Okay, but bottom line is this the DSA, again, represents a core that is now driving the Democratic Party.
00:31:10.000 It's not going to be particularly popular.
00:31:12.000 But if they can smear enough affordability over everything, then they think they can get away with it.
00:31:17.000 And Republicans are trying to figure out exactly how to counter that.
00:31:20.000 So the number one thing that Republicans are doing is they are taking this argument at face value, which I think is a mistake.
00:31:26.000 They are apparently of the belief that in order to counter the DSA, they have to focus specifically and solely on affordability.
00:31:34.000 That's not really true.
00:31:35.000 That's not really true.
00:31:36.000 Yes, of course, people are worried about how much things cost.
00:31:38.000 That is always true forever and always.
00:31:40.000 It always will be.
00:31:42.000 But if you think that affordability is the thing that is driving Republicans down right now, No, what is going to allow Republicans to come back is not really discussions of affordability.
00:31:51.000 It is making sure that people understand the evil of the opposition.
00:31:54.000 What an amazing video you just watched.
00:31:56.000 Wasn't that amazing?
00:31:57.000 Well, you know, if you think so, head on over to dailywire.comslash subscribe to watch the full show ad free or check out this crazy story here.
