Former Defense Intelligence Agency head Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn says Obama ignored all the intelligence warning that ISIS was on the rise after the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. He says it was because it didn t match the White House's narrative and didn't match the narrative Obama was trying to sell to the American people. This is a stunning admission by a former administration official, and it's one of the most stunning admissions I've ever heard in my life. Ben Shapiro says it's time to wake up to the reality that President Obama knew about ISIS, but did nothing about it. He also points out that if George W. Bush missed the signs of 9/11 in 2001, what would the media be saying about him in 2004, when he was running for re-election? And what would they say about him after he was re-elected? And how would they treat it now that he's out of office and is no longer the president of the United States? Ben Shapiro explains why this is a massive mistake, and how it could have been done by a previous president. Ben Shapiro's full breakdown of what happened, and what it says about President Obama's failure to recognize the threat of terrorism, and the failure to act on the intelligence that was provided to him by his own intelligence chief, Michael Flynn's admission. He also explains why it's not a good thing, and why it matters more than it should. what happened and why we should have done anything at all, not just to make sure he doesn t get re- elected in 2020, but why he s going to be remembered as the next President of America s next President. 00:00:00.000 Here we are.
00:00:00.000 It is Wednesday, and we have so much to get to.
00:00:03.000 As always, Jerry Brown, the governor of California, is in Paris, and he says something intensely insulting.
00:00:09.000 Plus, this is really some bombshell material out of the Obama administration about just what President Obama is willing to do to get elected.
00:00:17.000 And, of course, things that I hate.
00:00:19.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:00:20.000 This is The Ben Shapiro Show.
00:00:27.000 That tease was so hot that Jonathan, our producer, actually was asking me about it just a moment ago.
00:00:32.000 But here is the deal with President Obama and what he's willing to do to get elected.
00:00:36.000 So, it now turns out that President Obama knew that ISIS was rising almost as soon as America pulled out of Iraq.
00:00:42.000 He knew that once we pulled 10,000 troops out, there was going to be a significant rise in terrorist activity.
00:00:47.000 He knew that ISIS was already on the rise.
00:00:50.000 President Obama's former Defense Intelligence Agency head is a guy named Lieutenant General Michael Flynn.
00:00:55.000 He was on CNN with Jake Tapper, and he dropped this bombshell.
00:00:58.000 And what's amazing about it is that this just went right over the heads of the folks on the left.
00:01:03.000 They just acted like it never happened.
00:01:05.000 But what he's about to say, what you're about to hear him say, is one of the most stunning admissions by a former administration official I have ever heard in my life.
00:01:11.000 It truly is amazing.
00:01:12.000 Here is Lieutenant General Michael Flynn.
00:01:15.000 Do you feel as though your warnings were ignored?
00:01:18.000 You know, I think that they, um...
00:01:21.000 Did not meet a particular narrative that the White House needed, and I'll be very candid with you.
00:01:27.000 I have said, and I believe, that the people that were around the president, his sort of inner circle that were advising him, I think advised him incorrectly.
00:01:35.000 What was the narrative?
00:01:36.000 I think the narrative was that al-Qaeda was on the run, and bin Laden was dead, and he was... The election narrative.
00:01:42.000 Yeah, and they were dead, and, you know, these guys are... These guys are... You know, we've beaten them.
00:01:47.000 And we knew that. 0.99
00:01:48.000 I mean, we've killed more leaders
00:01:50.000 In the Al Qaeda, ISIS, AQI, Boko Haram, more leaders than we can say and they continue to just multiply.
00:01:58.000 So we have to get more realistic on what it is that we're facing.
00:02:04.000 This is a truly incredible thing, what he's just saying.
00:02:08.000 And he's saying it in a soft-spoken manner, so it's easy to miss what he's saying.
00:02:11.000 But what Lieutenant General Michael Flynn just said right there is that as President Obama was gearing up for his re-election, he was doing nothing about ISIS.
00:02:18.000 He was ignoring all of the advice he was getting about ISIS.
00:02:21.000 He was ignoring all the intelligence he was getting about ISIS.
00:02:23.000 He was ignoring all of this stuff because it harmed his re-election efforts to recognize that terrorism was an actual threat.
00:02:30.000 Right, he was saying that Al Qaeda was dead, it didn't match his narrative, and therefore he just ignored the intelligence.
00:02:36.000 Now imagine for a second, if George W. Bush doesn't miss the signs of 9-11 in 2001-2000, imagine if George W. Bush
00:02:45.000 Loses the trail of this, not when he's being elected president, but in 2004.
00:02:51.000 Imagine that in 2004, George W. Bush is getting information that his foreign policy is going to cause a rash of terrorist attacks all over the world and the rise of a huge new terror power in the Middle East.
00:03:03.000 And imagine that George W. Bush says, you know what?
00:03:04.000 I'm not going to listen to any of that.
00:03:05.000 You know what?
00:03:06.000 Doesn't matter.
00:03:06.000 Not going to listen to any of that.
00:03:08.000 And then imagine after his election that there are all sorts of terrorist attacks worldwide from the same terrorists that he just dismissed.
00:03:14.000 How do you think the media would cover that?
00:03:16.000 Would the media perhaps say, it appears that George W. Bush manipulated the information that we saw?
00:03:20.000 Bush lied, people died?
00:03:22.000 Is it possible we would see that?
00:03:25.000 Well, for Barack Obama, that's exactly what he did.
00:03:27.000 And not only did he do it, that is his guy, okay?
00:03:29.000 That's not a Republican saying this.
00:03:30.000 This guy was Barack Obama's former head of intel.
00:03:34.000 He was the guy giving Obama intelligence reports, and he was the one saying just now, you watched him say on live television, that Barack Obama ignored all of those reports,
00:03:44.000 Specifically, so that he could tell the American people Al-Qaeda was dead, we didn't have to face the threat of terrorism anymore.
00:03:49.000 He had somehow cured it.
00:03:50.000 That to pull out from Iraq was a wonderful, magnificent idea. 1.00
00:03:54.000 And remember, in 2010, Joe Biden said that Iraq was going to be part of the bright spot in Obama's legacy, it would be part of his greatest achievements list, would be the stability of Iraq.
00:04:04.000 Remember that just
00:04:06.000 Two years after this, after Obama was re-elected, Obama was still calling ISIS the JV team.
00:04:11.000 In other words, Barack Obama is willing to let people die.
00:04:14.000 He's willing to let people all over the world die to promote whatever is his political agenda.
00:04:19.000 And this speaks to what he's been doing in Paris.
00:04:21.000 Barack Obama in Paris, when he says climate change is the real problem here, that's because, for Barack Obama, that is his agenda.
00:04:28.000 And when it comes to terrorism, that's not his agenda.
00:04:31.000 And if he has to lie about the threat of ISIS, if he has to pretend the threat of ISIS doesn't exist,
00:04:36.000 Well then, he just will.
00:04:37.000 And he'll do all of that to push his agenda.
00:04:39.000 In 2010, 2011, 2012, his agenda was getting re-elected, and that meant that ISIS could rise, ISIS could turn into a regional power, ISIS could slaughter thousands of people, and he wasn't gonna do a damn thing about it.
00:04:50.000 People had to die so Obama could get re-elected, and that was okay.
00:04:53.000 And remember, this was the entire argument that was happening about Benghazi shortly before the election in 2012.
00:04:59.000 People on the left were saying, why are you people on the right so exercised about YouTube video versus not YouTube video?
00:05:05.000 What difference does it make?
00:05:06.000 Hillary Clinton famously said at her congressional testimony in January of 2013.
00:05:11.000 What difference does it make?
00:05:12.000 What we said was the cause of the attacks in Benghazi.
00:05:15.000 The point that the people on the right were making, and they were correct, 0.77
00:05:18.000 is that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were lying about what happened in Benghazi, specifically so that they could win re-election, and that they had ignored the decay of Libya, specifically so that they never had to face up to the fact that they had destabilized a country and created a terrorist haven.
00:05:33.000 A terrorist haven where, by the way, ISIS is now extraordinarily active.
00:05:36.000 The Obama administration does all of its foreign policy for show so that they can gain domestic support for the things that they really care about.
00:05:44.000 And those things do not include fighting radical Islam or protecting the American people.
00:05:48.000 You know, Obama said very early in his presidency, he was speaking at a military base, and Obama said at the military base, he turns back to the soldiers, and he's on tape, he turns back to the soldiers and he says, you know, you guys make a great photo op.
00:06:00.000 That's what the military has always been for Barack Obama.
00:06:02.000 A photo-op.
00:06:03.000 Foreign policy has always been a photo-op to President Obama.
00:06:06.000 And it's almost hard to express how disgusting it is that a President of the United States would ignore intelligence not because the intelligence was just brushed over, but purposefully ignore it because it didn't match an election narrative?
00:06:20.000 Because the American people couldn't know the truth?
00:06:22.000 He was still the President.
00:06:23.000 He wasn't a challenger.
00:06:25.000 He was the incumbent.
00:06:26.000 He was the man in charge of keeping America safe, and he was ignoring a rising threat, a threat that has now cost literally hundreds of lives in the West, and President Obama just ignored it.
00:06:36.000 Didn't make any difference, because he had to be re-elected.
00:06:39.000 It was important that he be re-elected.
00:06:41.000 And Obama's doing the same routine now, because his successor must be re-elected.
00:06:44.000 Yesterday, President Obama said in Paris, no, don't worry, a Democrat will succeed me.
00:06:48.000 Well, in order to make that happen, he has to continue lying about what's going on on foreign policy.
00:06:53.000 He has to continue ignoring intelligence reports.
00:06:56.000 He has to continue ignoring the real threats that are out there, so that he can lie and tell us that everything is okay, and that his Secretary of State, who's responsible for the rise of many of these threats, that his Secretary of State is not responsible for any of this, because after all, everything is grand and glorious.
00:07:10.000 Michael Flynn also, during the same interview, he said, you know, Obama's kind of downplaying the threat of terrorism, but
00:07:16.000 It's only a matter of time before ISIS attacks us.
00:07:18.000 So this threat that President Obama said didn't exist in the first place and ignored for his own re-election efforts, that threat, it's only a matter of time now before they kill Americans in America.
00:07:26.000 Here is Michael Flynn.
00:07:46.000 The attack in Mali at the hotel was 10 guys.
00:07:49.000 So two guys, three guys, four guys could have, could raise absolute havoc in a mall or somewhere else in the country.
00:07:57.000 You think it's just a matter of time?
00:07:58.000 I do.
00:07:58.000 I really do believe it's a matter of time.
00:08:01.000 I believe that there's going to be, where our luck is going to run out and they're going to be able to achieve something along the lines of what we saw in Paris.
00:08:11.000 ISIS did not exist when Barack Obama took office.
00:08:14.000 It was a nothing when Barack Obama took office.
00:08:16.000 By the time his first term ended, ISIS was already a rising threat and he ignored it so that he could be re-elected.
00:08:21.000 That is how disgusting the politics of the left has become.
00:08:24.000 They're willing to sacrifice American lives and allied lives. 0.84
00:08:27.000 They're willing to do all of that just so that they can maintain their grip on power.
00:08:31.000 And it's going to cost more American lives because ISIS was not a threat to the United States when George W. Bush left office.
00:08:36.000 It is now.
00:08:37.000 It is now.
00:08:38.000 And by the way, Barack Obama, just three weeks ago, you remember the day before, we talked about it on the show, the day before the Paris attacks, you remember Barack Obama went on national television and he said that ISIS had been contained.
00:08:49.000 Now, his Joint Chiefs Chair, his Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, right, his Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, again, a Barack Obama staffer is just pulling the carpet right out from under him.
00:09:00.000 The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs actually came out and he said, no, absolutely, we have not contained ISIS.
00:09:04.000 Here he is.
00:09:06.000 General Dunford, can you tell me, as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, if you know?
00:09:10.000 We are technically not at war, Representative Ford.
00:09:14.000 So if we're effectively not at war, let me ask you this.
00:09:17.000 Have we currently contained ISIL?
00:09:21.000 We have not contained ISIL.
00:09:22.000 Have they been contained at any time since 2010?
00:09:24.000 Tactically, in areas they have been, strategically they have spread since 2010.
00:09:31.000 Can you ask me if our current strategy in your best personal and professional military judgment
00:09:37.000 I think the right components of a strategy are in place, Representative Forbes.
00:09:44.000 The current strategy, and particularly the military dimension of the strategy, is the strategy that was recommended by the Joint Chiefs.
00:09:58.000 Okay, so he says that now we're on the right track.
00:09:59.000 Now, do you believe him?
00:10:01.000 Do you believe him?
00:10:02.000 He's the one who just said, now, that Barack Obama was wrong two weeks ago when he said that ISIS is contained.
00:10:08.000 His own Joint Chiefs Chairman is now saying, no, ISIS is not contained.
00:10:11.000 But don't worry, the strategy that we are telling Obama to use, that he's totally gonna use now, yeah, that's totally gonna work.
00:10:16.000 Because he would never manipulate national security for his own personal political gain or anything.
00:10:21.000 And this is a pattern, okay?
00:10:23.000 This is a pattern.
00:10:24.000 Today,
00:10:24.000 Rahm Emanuel.
00:10:25.000 We've talked a little bit about this case in Chicago.
00:10:27.000 This case where this 17 year old guy, I don't want to call him a kid because when you're 17, you're really not a kid anymore.
00:10:33.000 By the time you're 17, actual responsibility is attached to you.
00:10:36.000 He's a 17 year old guy, he was high on LSD and he was, or sorry, PCP apparently.
00:10:41.000 And he was at a McDonald's making trouble, or Burger King making trouble, and someone called the cops on him, and he's walking away from the cops, and a white cop shoots this black guy, and the tape finally gets out, the dash cam video finally gets out, and it turns out that the mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, said on Wednesday that he won't step down, even though there are growing calls for his resignation.
00:10:59.000 So according to The Hill, what was The Hill reporting today?
00:11:02.000 In a visibly tense interview at a Politico Illinois event in Chicago, Emanuel, who served as Obama's chief of staff,
00:11:09.000 Said he would be held accountable by the political process.
00:11:12.000 He said we have a process called the election.
00:11:14.000 The voters spoke.
00:11:15.000 I'll be held accountable for the decisions and actions that I make.
00:11:19.000 No, no, he won't.
00:11:20.000 No, he won't.
00:11:21.000 He just got re-elected on the basis of hiding the tape.
00:11:23.000 That's the whole point.
00:11:24.000 He hid the tape so he could be re-elected.
00:11:26.000 This is like Barack Obama saying, after he was re-elected, oh, don't worry, the voters will hold me accountable for what happened in Benghazi.
00:11:33.000 No, they won't, because you lied to them at the time in order to achieve political victory.
00:11:37.000 Democrats will lie, and they will cheat, and they will steal, and they will allow people to die, so long as it helps them achieve political victory, because the only thing Democrats want is power.
00:11:47.000 That's all that matters.
00:11:48.000 If they can maximize their personal political power, it doesn't matter who has to suffer in order for that to happen.
00:11:53.000 That's an amazing line by Rahm Emanuel.
00:11:56.000 We have something called the election.
00:11:57.000 I won.
00:11:57.000 Okay, well, guess what?
00:11:59.000 Richard Nixon won re-election, too.
00:12:01.000 He did.
00:12:01.000 Watergate happened in the run-up to re-election for Richard Nixon, right?
00:12:04.000 That's what he was doing.
00:12:05.000 He was bugging George McGovern's headquarters.
00:12:08.000 He was bugging the DNC headquarters in the run-up to the election.
00:12:10.000 He won re-election.
00:12:11.000 What if Richard Nixon had said, look, the people spoke?
00:12:13.000 I don't care about your investigation.
00:12:15.000 The people spoke.
00:12:16.000 They already re-elected me, and if they want to do something about it, the people can do something about it.
00:12:20.000 People would rightly look at that and laugh.
00:12:22.000 They would look at that and they would say, no, that's not how this process works.
00:12:25.000 But for Democrats, that's exactly how this process works.
00:12:28.000 You know what the Huffington Post headline said about the interview with Michael Flynn, the one that we played at the very top here?
00:12:35.000 I was talking with Andrew Klavan outside here, and Andrew told me that the headline from the Huffington Post, the official Obama outlet on the internet left,
00:12:44.000 The headline was, Lieutenant General Flynn
00:12:47.000 Obama was right to oppose Iraq war. 0.97
00:12:49.000 Okay, now that is one of the things that he said in the interview.
00:12:52.000 He said the Iraq war was a mistake.
00:12:53.000 Right?
00:12:54.000 He said the Iraq war... But that's not the headline.
00:12:56.000 The headline isn't Obama official says Obama is right. 1.00
00:13:00.000 The headline is Obama official says Obama is a damn liar who's willing to allow people to die so he can get reelected. 1.00
00:13:05.000 That's the headline. 1.00
00:13:06.000 Right?
00:13:06.000 By any news standard imaginable, that's the headline.
00:13:09.000 Because when somebody from the president's side is ripping the president, that's much more of a headline than somebody on the president's side backing the president's play.
00:13:17.000 But the media are so corrupt and so invested in Democrats winning that they're willing to lie, too.
00:13:24.000 And that's the tragedy of all of this.
00:13:26.000 There's a new poll out today about the new presidential election.
00:13:31.000 And the poll is not pretty for Republicans.
00:13:33.000 Trump continues to do well.
00:13:35.000 In the primaries, he's at 27%.
00:13:37.000 Marco Rubio's at 17%.
00:13:38.000 Ted Cruz at 16%, along with Ben Carson, who's sliding.
00:13:42.000 And it looks like his support is bleeding over into support for Ted Cruz.
00:13:45.000 But the part that is really troubling
00:13:48.000 is that when you look at Hillary Clinton versus the field, and I've been saying this for months now.
00:13:53.000 I mean, I have an open bet with radio host Michael Medved that I made with him on the radio.
00:13:57.000 I gave him four to one odds.
00:13:58.000 I took Hillary, he took the field.
00:14:00.000 I said, I'll put up my $4,000 against your $1,000 that Hillary will win, not because I want Hillary to win. 0.94
00:14:05.000 I want Hillary to go down in flaming defeat, but because Hillary has structural advantages and because the media are so powerful in driving narrative. 1.00
00:14:13.000 Here are the poll results, Hillary versus the Republican field.
00:14:15.000 47-41 over Trump.
00:14:18.000 45-44 over Rubio.
00:14:19.000 Okay, that's a shift from last month when there was a five-point lead for Rubio.
00:14:23.000 47-42 over Cruz.
00:14:26.000 Cruz was beating her by three points last month.
00:14:29.000 46-43 over Carson.
00:14:30.000 Compared to 50-40, Carson over Hillary last month. 0.99
00:14:33.000 She's beating all comers right now. 0.99
00:14:35.000 And it's going to get worse, not better, because the media control the narrative.
00:14:40.000 You know, you expect Democrats to be Democrats.
00:14:42.000 You really do.
00:14:43.000 One of the things I learned growing up, and it's a good life lesson, is one of the big mistakes people make is thinking the best of people.
00:14:49.000 It's just, it's a mistake that people make.
00:14:51.000 You know, you have to think the best of people biblically.
00:14:54.000 You have to try and, you know, you're supposed to...
00:14:57.000 You're supposed to try and think that the rationale behind what they're doing is not a nasty rationale.
00:15:02.000 You're supposed to give them the benefit of the doubt.
00:15:04.000 There's a whole phrase in Hebrew that's specifically designed to do this.
00:15:07.000 You're supposed to try and see people for their best qualities.
00:15:14.000 In politics, don't.
00:15:15.000 In politics, don't.
00:15:16.000 If you assume the worst 95% of the time, you'll be right.
00:15:19.000 And in politics, the fact is that the media do have bad intent when it comes to all of this.
00:15:24.000 And this is the problem.
00:15:25.000 People are saying, well, you know, Trump will lose against Hillary.
00:15:27.000 I think Rubio will do better against Hillary. 1.00
00:15:29.000 The media haven't even begun to attack Rubio yet.
00:15:32.000 Once he gets in their crosshairs, this is the same media that lied.
00:15:36.000 It's the same media that generated Candy Crowley, who said in an open debate in the middle of a presidential election that Mitt Romney was lying about Barack Obama's take on Benghazi, when Barack Obama was lying about Barack Obama's take on Benghazi.
00:15:49.000 These people control the narrative.
00:15:51.000 That's why I've said on the program,
00:15:53.000 And I'll continue to say that if I have a choice between winning this election and destroying the credibility of the mainstream media, I will destroy the credibility of the mainstream media every time.
00:16:01.000 Because the mainstream media controls the outcome of these debates.
00:16:04.000 Hillary Clinton has a 44% favorability rating.
00:16:08.000 A 44 favorability rating.
00:16:10.000 And she's beating all of these people.
00:16:12.000 Right?
00:16:12.000 She has a significantly lower favorability rating than virtually everybody else.
00:16:17.000 Marco Rubio's favorability rating right now is 37% to 28%.
00:16:20.000 He's got a 9-point positive.
00:16:22.000 Hillary's at 44% to 51%, right? 0.89
00:16:24.000 And she's still beating Marco Rubio.
00:16:26.000 And those numbers are not going to get better for Rubio.
00:16:28.000 They're going to get worse for Rubio.
00:16:29.000 Because once the media decides to dig their heels in and dig their claws in, they're not going to let go until they draw blood.
00:16:36.000 The media will allow Democrats to lie.
00:16:37.000 They have an agenda.
00:16:39.000 That agenda is to keep people like Rahm Emanuel in power so that they can continue hiding facts about shootings, keep Barack Obama in power so he can continue pretending ISIS isn't a threat.
00:16:48.000 And it really is quite dispiriting.
00:16:50.000 It is really dispiriting.
00:16:51.000 And all of this obviously has ramifications for the rest of the world because, well, the left, President Obama, the media create their own magical reality while they do all of this.
00:17:02.000 The real world goes on.
00:17:03.000 The real world continues to exist and the bad guys continue to win.
00:17:07.000 There's a phrase that they used to use in the 60s.
00:17:09.000 What if they gave a war and nobody came?
00:17:11.000 Well, what if they gave a war and only one side came because the other side was too busy?
00:17:16.000 Naval gazing, to put it kindly.
00:17:19.000 Right?
00:17:19.000 Well, that's what's happening in the world right now.
00:17:21.000 Barack Obama is too busy gazing at his own naval to recognize that there is a reality around him that continues to move.
00:17:27.000 And today, that reality continues to manifest.
00:17:30.000 According to the Times of Israel, Miri Mikhaeli, who's the Europe correspondent for Israel's Channel 10, tweets, quote,
00:17:37.000 Chabad.
00:17:37.000 Chabad is the Jewish organization.
00:17:39.000 You've seen them, the guys who have long beards and black hats, and you see them dancing in funny ways during telethons.
00:17:45.000 And they're really a wonderful organization, Chabad is.
00:17:47.000 They do a lot of Jewish outreach to the Jewish community.
00:17:50.000 They're Orthodox.
00:17:51.000 And Chabad, which does all the Jewish holidays, they bring lots of people in of every sort of Jewish sector to celebrate.
00:17:57.000 Chabad has now issued a warning.
00:17:59.000 Chabad says, Paris police ordered us
00:18:02.000 What Chabad does every Hanukkah, and you can see it if you're out here in LA, you can go to Universal CityWalk, and they do this every year.
00:18:17.000 They do it up in Sacramento with the governor.
00:18:19.000 They have these public candle lightings for Hanukkah, right?
00:18:21.000 Because that's what they do.
00:18:22.000 It's like a Christmas tree, except it's a Hanukkah menorah.
00:18:25.000 And in Paris, they've now been told by the police, don't do this.
00:18:28.000 They've now been told by the police, don't do this.
00:18:29.000 And one of the injunctions as a Jew, as an Orthodox Jew, one of the injunctions on Hanukkah is that when you light the candles, you are specifically supposed to put the candles in the window so that people can sort of see the light of God's miracle emanating from your window.
00:18:41.000 That's the goal.
00:18:42.000 It's not supposed to just be in your house.
00:18:44.000 You're supposed to put it in your front window so that passersby can see that you are a Jew and you observe the holiday.
00:18:51.000 People are basically being told now,
00:18:53.000 People are basically being told now that they need to not do this publicly.
00:18:57.000 So the police have now given the okay, but this is what it's coming down to in Europe.
00:19:01.000 Jews in Europe are moving out in droves.
00:19:03.000 Thousands of families of Jews are moving out of Europe in droves because of the Islamic invasion of Europe, which is what is happening. 0.89
00:19:08.000 The left has gone along with it.
00:19:10.000 There's a report today from an ISIS, this is an amazing report, there's an ISIS 1.00
00:19:16.000 An ISIS manifesto, apparently, that has now been revealed.
00:19:20.000 And the ISIS manifesto openly talks about partnering with left-wing and anti-Israel activists, according to this ISIS manifesto.
00:19:27.000 According to the ISIS manifesto, they say that it's pretty clear, their passage is bragging, that some of those involved in the attacks on Paris were quick to take the opportunity of entering into the different countries of Europe.
00:19:39.000 The manifesto touts operatives' training and ability to inflict damage.
00:19:43.000 And it talks about how it's important to create Muslim no-go zones, which are these supposedly non-existent zones where the police don't police because they're dominated by Muslims. 1.00
00:19:52.000 And here's the part that really is telling.
00:19:55.000 If you have ever been at a pro-Palestine, anti-Israel protest, you will see many activists who are not even Muslims, who are supportive of what Muslims are calling for, the fall of Zionism. 0.69
00:20:04.000 It is most likely here that connections between Muslims and left-wing activists will be made, and a portion from them will realize that protests are not effective, and that armed combat is the alternative.
00:20:13.000 In other words, they're now recruiting from the left wing, ISIS is, and they're recruiting from them because they understand who their ideological allies are when it comes to the war against reality.
00:20:23.000 Because the left wing would prefer not to see ISIS as the enemy, but they would prefer to see climate change as the enemy, even as we're in the run-up to a new world Kristallnacht.
00:20:32.000 For those who don't know, Kristallnacht was the night of broken glass when the Nazis went around smashing all the Jewish stores, and it was sort of the open prelude to the Holocaust.
00:20:42.000 Okay, well, speaking of things that don't actually matter, that we're focused on instead of terrorism,
00:20:47.000 The left continues to focus in on climate change like a laser beam, like a laser beam.
00:20:51.000 Jerry Brown, who's the governor of California, the octogenarian governor of California, who stumbles around eating pudding all day, and has said things in the past like global warming is going to mean that LAX is under four feet of water.
00:21:03.000 He actually said this, that LAX will be under four feet of water thanks to global warming. 0.86
00:21:07.000 The reason this is idiotic, in case you don't know, is that LAX is at an elevation of 108 feet above sea level. 0.93
00:21:12.000 Okay? 0.97
00:21:13.000 The most optimistic projections for global warming is that the global sea levels will rise by 4 feet.
00:21:18.000 Okay?
00:21:19.000 They're not gonna go 108 feet above sea level. 0.99
00:21:21.000 Jerry Brown is also the idiot who wants to build a 100 billion dollar choo-choo train to mimic the path of the I-5, which is, by the way, completely empty between Southern California and Sacramento. 0.98
00:21:31.000 If you've ever been on that I-5, nobody's on it. 0.99
00:21:33.000 I mean, I got caught doing 113 on the I-5.
00:21:37.000 There's not a freeway in L.A.
00:21:38.000 I could go 113 on.
00:21:39.000 There's certainly not a freeway in L.A.
00:21:41.000 I could go 128 on, which is what I was actually doing on the freeway on the I-5.
00:21:44.000 But the I-5 is totally unpopulated.
00:21:47.000 Jerry Brown thinks we need to build a train.
00:21:48.000 This delusional dope, he goes to Paris and he says, he was interviewed about what he wants to do about climate change.
00:21:56.000 This is the delusional world in which we live, if you are a member of the left.
00:22:00.000 Jerry Brown talking about the threat of climate change.
00:22:03.000 It's a real race.
00:22:05.000 It's a race against
00:22:07.000 Well, I'm going to go around and
00:22:34.000 Did you ever see Johnny Appleseed running around planting apple trees?
00:22:39.000 I'll do whatever I can, with whomever I need. 0.86
00:22:42.000 So this crazy old coot who's talking to me, he says, did you ever see Johnny Appleseed? 1.00
00:22:46.000 Johnny Appleseed, who is an actual guy, died in 1845. 0.80
00:22:49.000 So it's possible that he actually did see Johnny Appleseed, to be fair.
00:22:53.000 And you see him, folks, you can't see him on video.
00:22:55.000 You can sort of gather what he's doing.
00:22:57.000 But he's kind of moving back and forth and rubbing his arms and shifting back and forth.
00:23:01.000 And you feel like you just went to visit your grandpa at the old age home.
00:23:04.000 And it's kind of sad.
00:23:05.000 And after you leave, you kind of turn to your mom and you go, oh, he doesn't look good, Grandpa.
00:23:09.000 And that's sort of what it feels like watching Jerry Brown.
00:23:12.000 But the line there that I think is worthwhile pointing out is one of the lines that he says right in the middle.
00:23:17.000 He says, there's a lot of big... First, he says Greenland is going to melt.
00:23:21.000 Okay.
00:23:21.000 First, there have been glaciers in Greenland that are melting.
00:23:24.000 It's also true that Antarctic ice sheets are growing by leaps and bounds.
00:23:28.000 So it turns out that the weather changes.
00:23:30.000 Changes a lot, depending on where you are.
00:23:32.000 And global trade winds make a big difference as to whether certain areas are warm or cool.
00:23:36.000 But the line that really gets my attention here, because it shows where the left really is when it comes to climate change.
00:23:42.000 And there's a commonality here to their feelings about terrorism.
00:23:47.000 Is where he says there's a lot of big risks out there.
00:23:49.000 Humankind has brought into the world absolutely devastating technologies.
00:23:53.000 Humankind has brought into the world absolutely devastating technologies.
00:23:56.000 And I remember yesterday, President Obama said in Paris, he said that ISIS just wants to destroy the world.
00:24:02.000 ISIS wants to, and we're here saving the world.
00:24:05.000 The way they want to save the world is to do away with these absolutely devastating technologies.
00:24:09.000 Are we talking about the atomic bomb?
00:24:11.000 Which, by the way, there's a very solid argument to make, that the atomic bomb is what has basically kept human beings on the planet.
00:24:17.000 There's a very good argument for this, right?
00:24:18.000 Without mutually assured destruction, World War I killed a lot of people, World War II killed a lot of people, every war since.
00:24:24.000 Has killed people, but not nearly of that scope, because everyone is afraid that if you go too far and cross the line, somebody's gonna get nuked, and all of a sudden the entire planet is gone, right?
00:24:32.000 That's why there hasn't been any sort of major war in which hundreds of thousands of people have died from Western countries, which was a regular thing apparently, you know, at the beginning of the 20th century.
00:24:40.000 Every 30 years we were fighting wars where millions and millions and 20, 40, 50 million people were dying.
00:24:46.000 But Jerry Brown, he's not even talking about the atomic bomb, right?
00:24:49.000 He's talking about cars.
00:24:51.000 Absolutely devastating technologies.
00:24:53.000 Now, when I talk to normal people, is the toaster, toaster, is it absolutely devastating?
00:24:58.000 No.
00:24:58.000 A car, is it an absolutely devastating technology?
00:25:01.000 Or is it a magical piece of technology created by the ingenuity of human beings that has made our lives immeasurably better, increased economic growth all around the world, and encouraged the cross-cultural exchange of ideas that has led to technological growth, an alleviation of poverty never before seen in human history, and an alleviation of world hunger?
00:25:20.000 I mean, that's true of all carbon-based fuel energies.
00:25:23.000 Carbon-based fuels, oil, is one of the... Look, in 1900, the life expectancy in the United States was 50 years.
00:25:30.000 If you were lucky, you lived to be 50 years old in the United States.
00:25:32.000 Today, the life expectancy for both men and women is above 80 years old.
00:25:36.000 A large part of that is because of nutritional gains brought about by mechanized farming, which is brought about by carbon-based fuels.
00:25:43.000 A lot of that is brought about by better health standards at hospitals, for example, which are powered by electricity, which are powered by power plants, which are powered by carbon-based fuels like coal.
00:25:53.000 The fact is that energy underlies everything.
00:25:57.000 Clavin made a great point on his podcast a few weeks ago.
00:25:59.000 He was talking about Avatar, and he was saying, you know, you watch Avatar and it's all beautiful and nature-y and there's lights everywhere.
00:26:06.000 He said,
00:26:07.000 You know, that's LA.
00:26:08.000 That's what we have with oil. 0.88
00:26:11.000 Oil makes all of that possible.
00:26:12.000 All the things they're railing against, the unobtainium they're railing against, all of that is what makes modern life possible.
00:26:17.000 The fact is, all of the technologies Jerry Brown hates, those are the same technologies that have decreased the poverty rate on planet Earth by 50% since 1990.
00:26:27.000 There were 1.6 billion people on planet Earth who were living on less than $1.25 a day.
00:26:33.000 They were living on less than that every single day.
00:26:37.000 And that has now been decreased to 800 million people over the course of 25 years.
00:26:41.000 Nothing in the course of human history could have ever predicted anything like this.
00:26:45.000 That is thanks solely to technological and scientific advancement that the left hates.
00:26:49.000 Why?
00:26:50.000 Because the left sees us all as you and me baby ain't nothing but mammals.
00:26:53.000 So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel, namely die at age 13 in the wilderness.
00:26:57.000 Right?
00:26:57.000 So the fact is that one of the beautiful things about being human is that we've been able to transcend our own physical limitations because of the power of our mind and the power to harness the wind, and not the wind, but harness those fossil fuels that, by the way, have existed for all of human history but meant nothing because they were underneath the Earth.
00:27:14.000 We were the ones who took this goo and turned it into something so magical that it powers hospitals.
00:27:20.000 Right?
00:27:20.000 That it gets kids to and from schools and powers the lights in the school.
00:27:23.000 And we've been able to do all of these things and make life immeasurably better for bill- The planet could not sustain six billion people without fossil fuels.
00:27:31.000 End of story.
00:27:32.000 But according to Jerry Brown, all that's bad because humans are just like other animals and we should sort of take our place in the pantheon of other animals and we should be brought back down to Earth.
00:27:40.000 There's a real anti-human strain to these environmentalists and it really is quite ugly and quite nasty.
00:27:46.000 Okay, and now on to things that I hate.
00:27:49.000 I'm going to mention something that I like.
00:27:51.000 I always do this because, as I say every day at this time, I want to show that I don't hate everything on Earth.
00:27:56.000 I hate most things, but there are certain things that I like.
00:27:58.000 There's a great movie that you should see from last year.
00:28:00.000 It's called Whiplash.
00:28:02.000 And if you haven't seen Whiplash, it is a really, really terrific movie, and it is worth seeing.
00:28:05.000 Okay, so I spent 20 seconds on things that I like.
00:28:07.000 Now I'm going to spend a few minutes on things that I despise.
00:28:10.000 So a couple of things today that I absolutely despise.
00:28:12.000 Let's start with Hillary Clinton has now dropped a new ad 1.00
00:28:15.000 for her presidential campaign, and her ad is basically, Hillary 2016, I have a vagina. 1.00
00:28:21.000 Here we go. 0.99
00:28:23.000 Dear Secretary Clinton, My name is Scout and I'm nine years old.
00:28:34.000 I'm so excited I have a chance to become the first woman president.
00:28:37.000 Because from George Washington to Barack Obama, it is ridiculous that there has never been a female president before.
00:28:45.000 44 boys is too many.
00:28:47.000 It will be hard work to be a grandma and president. 0.58
00:28:52.000 I know you can do it.
00:28:54.000 I hope you can encourage people to help and save the Earth.
00:28:57.000 Fight for world peace.
00:28:59.000 I would like to see an end to killing by guns.
00:29:02.000 You inspire me so that I can be who I want to be when I grow up.
00:29:08.000 Okay, I can't take any more of this. 0.84
00:29:12.000 Every parent who had their child participate in this should be slapped as hard as humanly possible with a club. 0.88
00:29:18.000 I mean, this is—this is just—to brutalize your children in this fashion, by having them get on camera and read this asinine letter clearly written by a PR specialist for the Hillary Clinton campaign, you know, it's—it's like, no nine-year-old girl is sitting at home, she's like, I'm gonna write the president, the future president of the United States. 1.00
00:29:34.000 And by the way, could you have any more stupid—is Hillary gonna do any of these things? 1.00
00:29:37.000 Is Hillary going to achieve world peace? 1.00
00:29:39.000 I missed the part where she achieved world peace as Secretary of State, considering that terror deaths have risen 80% in the last year.
00:29:45.000 So I'm going to go no on that one.
00:29:47.000 Is she going to save the Earth? 0.74
00:29:48.000 I'm going to go no on saving the Earth, considering that she can't even read an email without having her aids printed out, according to her email exchanges. 1.00
00:29:56.000 Is Hillary Clinton going to stop all deaths from guns?
00:30:00.000 No, she's not going to do that either, considering that she was actually gunrunning guns into Syria via Libya, and half those guns ended up in the hands of ISIS.
00:30:06.000 So I'm gonna go no on all of these things.
00:30:08.000 But this idea that if you are teaching... The part of this that bugs me is not Hillary doing her thing, because Hillary has been doing this stupid crap for years. 1.00
00:30:15.000 The part that bothers me... 1.00
00:30:17.000 Is teaching young girls.
00:30:19.000 Teaching young girls that the only obstacle that they are facing in life is their own femininity. 0.87
00:30:23.000 The only real obstacle is that they're female. 1.00
00:30:26.000 And that obstacle is only an obstacle because of terrible, terrible men.
00:30:29.000 Because after all, other women aren't standing in their way. 0.98
00:30:31.000 It's a bunch of men standing in their way.
00:30:33.000 44 men.
00:30:34.000 44 boys is too much. 0.71
00:30:37.000 Okay, I think you're right.
00:30:38.000 Jimmy Carter was too much.
00:30:39.000 I think Ronald Reagan was a pretty good president.
00:30:41.000 Like, Jimmy Carter...
00:30:42.000 I'm fine.
00:30:43.000 You want to replace him, go back in history, find a female to replace him, cool. 1.00
00:30:46.000 But it turns out that I judge the presidents by their performance, not by their penis or vagina. 0.99
00:30:50.000 But Hillary Clinton doesn't feel the same way, and so she's got all these girls out there preaching to the choir about how they feel like they can finally be president. 1.00
00:30:58.000 First of all, if there's a girl alive right now in the United States who feels like she can't be president because she's a girl, there's seriously something wrong with the parent.
00:31:06.000 Okay, I have a daughter.
00:31:07.000 There's seriously something wrong with you.
00:31:09.000 Okay, the last three Secretaries of State have been female, or three of the last four. 0.96
00:31:14.000 Madeleine Albright was a female.
00:31:15.000 Condoleezza Rice was a female. 0.99
00:31:17.000 Colin Powell, arguably, was a male.
00:31:20.000 But Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was a female. 1.00
00:31:24.000 If you look at the Supreme Court, there are Supreme Court justices who are female. 1.00
00:31:27.000 Women are making more than men in the major cities if they are of the same educational level and at the same level in their careers, and if they are single and don't have kids. 0.72
00:31:35.000 So all of this is nonsense, but it's ingraining in these kids.
00:31:38.000 These kids are going to go around the rest of their lives and think they're victims, victims of the patriarchy.
00:31:43.000 Let me tell you a little something about the patriarchy, ladies. 1.00
00:31:45.000 The patriarchy was what allowed you to vote.
00:31:48.000 The patriarchy invented all the machines that allowed you to not have to use washing boards.
00:31:54.000 If men were really as sexist as the feminist left makes them out to be, we have tremendous upper body strength and we own all the guns. 0.99
00:32:00.000 Okay, the reality is that one of the grand things about Western civilization is that men in Western civilization realized it was nasty and horrible not to treat women equally and give them equal opportunities, and so they changed.
00:32:13.000 Right?
00:32:13.000 This is one of the wonderful things about males.
00:32:15.000 Okay?
00:32:16.000 I speak as a man who
00:32:18.000 Who spends an enormous amount of time with my baby so that my wife can study for tests because she is in medical school and will be a doctor. 1.00
00:32:24.000 She's graduating from UCLA Medical School this year.
00:32:27.000 I'm talking, I grew up in a house where my dad was home with me and my mom was working.
00:32:33.000 Okay, so I fully understand and believe in the rights of women to work. 1.00
00:32:37.000 I don't know a lot of men who don't, but this idea that men are the sort of grand speed bump on the road to female equality is absolute, utter tripe, it's utter nonsense, and it's really damaging to relations between the sexes as well as to political relations in the United States.
00:32:51.000 Okay, final thing that I hate today, and I know we're a little long, but there's a lot of hate, you know?
00:32:55.000 There's just a lot to hate.
00:32:57.000 Today is World AIDS Day.
00:32:59.000 And I don't remember.
00:32:59.000 Was there a World Breast Cancer Day?
00:33:01.000 I don't remember.
00:33:01.000 I know that they have breast cancer things like they have people in the NFL wear the pink spanglies and all this stuff for breast cancer.
00:33:07.000 But I don't remember there being a World Breast Cancer Day.
00:33:11.000 Was there a big pink bow at the White House?
00:33:14.000 I know that every World AIDS Day they have a giant red bow that goes up at the White House to celebrate
00:33:18.000 World AIDS Day.
00:33:19.000 I'm not sure what you're celebrating on World AIDS Day.
00:33:20.000 AIDS is bad. 0.96
00:33:21.000 I don't know why you're celebrating it.
00:33:22.000 But in any case, World AIDS Day is when we're all supposed to stop and we're supposed to recognize that AIDS is a tremendous threat to everyone equally.
00:33:31.000 Here's Hillary Clinton. 1.00
00:33:32.000 She tweeted this.
00:33:40.000 Okay, invest in research.
00:33:42.000 Fine.
00:33:43.000 Expand access to life-saving drugs.
00:33:44.000 Fine.
00:33:45.000 That's called the free market, and as competition kicks in, it will do that.
00:33:48.000 Fight discrimination.
00:33:52.000 Here's sort of the problem with your whole fight discrimination thing, Hillary. 1.00
00:33:55.000 The fight discrimination thing suggests that discrimination is what is leading to a rise in AIDS or leading to a continuation of people obtaining the HIV-AIDS virus.
00:34:05.000 It turns out that the virus itself kind of discriminates.
00:34:08.000 It turns out that this happens to be a virus that actually
00:34:12.000 has a significant behavioral corollary.
00:34:15.000 And one of the things that makes me totally nuts about the left and their supposed belief in science is that they totally don't believe in science.
00:34:21.000 The manipulation of science for the basis of politics is so clear.
00:34:26.000 Look at how the National Institute of Health actually prioritizes research.
00:34:30.000 So I'm looking right now at the National Institute of Health funding for research on particular causes.
00:34:35.000 This is domestic research.
00:34:36.000 Okay, this year they are slated to spend $3.1 billion researching HIV-AIDS.
00:34:42.000 Okay, great.
00:34:44.000 HIV-AIDS, it doesn't kill that many people.
00:34:46.000 Okay, let's be real about this.
00:34:48.000 On a relative basis, it doesn't kill tons and tons and tons of people.
00:34:51.000 Right now, there are 1.2 million people in the United States living with HIV infection, and the number of people who die every year from HIV-AIDS is not even close to 1.2 million people.
00:35:02.000 In 2014, there will be 1.6 million new cancer cases diagnosed.
00:35:06.000 This is every year, and 600,000 people will die from cancer.
00:35:09.000 When it comes to heart disease, heart disease deaths, let's look this up, heart disease deaths in the United States
00:35:15.000 Okay, heart disease deaths in the United States.
00:35:18.000 610,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every single year.
00:35:22.000 One in every four deaths is heart disease in the United States.
00:35:25.000 So, we said $3.1 billion for funding for AIDS research.
00:35:29.000 How much is being spent on heart disease research?
00:35:32.000 Okay?
00:35:33.000 Because, let's face it, not one in four Americans is dying of AIDS.
00:35:36.000 Not even close to that.
00:35:38.000 Not even close to that.
00:35:39.000 It might be one in...maybe one in forty?
00:35:41.000 Maybe?
00:35:42.000 I don't even know if it's that high.
00:35:43.000 Okay, so we're talking about...in fact, now I want to look it up.
00:35:46.000 How many deaths per year AIDS in the United States?
00:35:53.000 Okay.
00:35:53.000 13,000 people died of AIDS in the United States last year.
00:35:57.000 13,000 people died of AIDS in the United States.
00:36:00.000 So that means that you are talking about the difference between 600,000 and 13,000.
00:36:05.000 Right?
00:36:06.000 So you have a 60 times better chance, basically, dying of heart disease than AIDS.
00:36:12.000 So you would assume the funding would reflect that, right? 0.99
00:36:15.000 Don't be silly. 0.85
00:36:15.000 HIV-AIDS, 3.1 billion dollars. 0.85
00:36:17.000 Heart disease, 1.2 billion dollars. 0.75
00:36:20.000 We spend nearly three times as much funding HIV-AIDS research as we do funding heart disease research, even though a significant component of heart disease is actually genetic and doesn't necessarily have to do with all the crap that you're eating. 0.95
00:36:33.000 Right? 0.86
00:36:34.000 But again, this is all that matters.
00:36:36.000 And by the way, even that number sounds high to me.
00:36:38.000 The CDC, I'm looking at the CDC website right now, there are only 7,000 deaths from AIDS, I guess, in 2012.
00:36:44.000 So it's extraordinarily low, as opposed to 600,000.
00:36:47.000 Okay?
00:36:47.000 And we're funding AIDS to three times that extent.
00:36:50.000 I want to show this one graphic to explain why this is so maddening, and why the left's goal, as I've said many, many, many times on this program, is to
00:36:58.000 Relieve any connection between behavior and consequence.
00:37:02.000 There must never be any connection between behavior and consequence. 1.00
00:37:05.000 Everybody has to be equal, no matter what stupid behavior they engage in. 0.99
00:37:08.000 Okay, it turns out, we'll just look at this chart here. 0.99
00:37:10.000 Okay, heart disease, if you had to attribute heart disease to a cause, you'd probably say that a significant percentage is people eating fatty or not exercising, and a significant percentage is actual heart disease that runs in your family.
00:37:21.000 Cancer, we still have no idea what causes most cancers, and hundreds of thousands of people die from cancer.
00:37:25.000 We know exactly
00:37:27.000 What causes you to get AIDS?
00:37:28.000 In fact, we know it down to the 100%, right?
00:37:30.000 According to the CDC.
00:37:32.000 So, what causes you to get AIDS?
00:37:33.000 Is it a random thing?
00:37:34.000 Is it a fly?
00:37:36.000 Does it bite you?
00:37:37.000 What happens to cause you to get AIDS?
00:37:38.000 Well, 90% of all the people in the United States who were diagnosed with HIV, okay?
00:37:48.000 For people aged 13 to 19 and people aged 20 to 24, well over 90% of all people diagnosed with HIV are males having sex with males. 0.98
00:37:56.000 Right, it's guys having sex with dudes. 1.00
00:37:57.000 Okay, it's homosexual sex. 1.00
00:37:59.000 Homosexual sex transmits AIDS. 1.00
00:38:01.000 That's because there are certain channels in the human body that are more prone to cut and bleed. 0.98
00:38:05.000 Okay, this is just a fact of life.
00:38:07.000 Sorry, it's called biology.
00:38:10.000 Okay, 1.7% intravenous drug use.
00:38:13.000 Right, so if you stick a needle from somebody else's arm into your arm, then you might get AIDS at a 1.7% rate.
00:38:18.000 If you have a male-to-male sexual contact and intravenous drug use, right, so you do both, that's 3%.
00:38:24.000 Right, so really this 90% statistic should look more like 95% is male-to-male homosexual contact because that includes both, right?
00:38:33.000 And finally, heterosexual contact, don't remember, anyone can get AIDS, folks.
00:38:37.000 Anyone can get AIDS.
00:38:38.000 Heterosexual contact, yeah, no, not so much, at least among men. 0.93
00:38:44.000 Women who get AIDS tend to be because a guy had sex with a guy and then had sex with a girl. 0.99
00:38:48.000 Or because a guy had intravenous drug use and then had sex with a girl.
00:38:52.000 But heterosexual contact, men getting AIDS this way, 4.2%.
00:38:55.000 Right?
00:38:56.000 4.2%.
00:38:56.000 So, this happens to be a disease.
00:39:01.000 And this doesn't mean we shouldn't fight the disease, it doesn't mean we shouldn't research the disease, but I don't see us spending an enormous amount of time and money on syphilis research.
00:39:10.000 Because it turns out that there are ways to avoid it.
00:39:13.000 I don't want to spend lots and lots of research money on ways to avoid you running out in front of a car.
00:39:18.000 I would prefer to spend more and more research money on how to make cars themselves safer. 1.00
00:39:23.000 This stupidity that we have, politically correct stupidity, it's actually caused a lot of gay people to die. 1.00
00:39:28.000 Because if you tell people that they're equally likely to get HIV by having sex with a woman and by having sex with a man, then you're lying to them and you're going to get more of a certain type of activity. 1.00
00:39:38.000 If people are not aware of the risk level, they tend to engage in riskier behavior.
00:39:42.000 This is true by every available measure.
00:39:44.000 And so, once again,
00:39:45.000 World AIDS Day, glad that we pay attention to AIDS, glad that we spend money trying to come up with drugs to fight AIDS, glad that people live after having contracted AIDS now in ways they would have thought crazy 40 years ago.
00:39:56.000 All of that's wonderful.
00:39:57.000 I want at least two-thirds of that money shifted over to heart disease research and cancer research.
00:40:03.000 I think those are significantly bigger problems for the United States, and the fact that the President of the United States and Hillary Clinton focus so much more on AIDS than anything else is just more evidence that when it comes to the left,
00:40:13.000 Behavior has to be excused no matter what the consequence, and that is top priority, not saving actual human lives.
00:40:19.000 Once again, always as always, back to bringing it full circle, when it comes to the left, the narrative is more important than human life.
00:40:28.000 Always, always, always for the left.
00:40:30.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:40:30.000 This is The Ben Shapiro Show.
