Summary

Nikki Haley drops out of the race to be the next Republican presidential candidate. She was the former UN ambassador under Donald Trump and served as his campaign manager when he was running for president in 2016. She has been a supporter of Trump since before he was a candidate, and she has been an early supporter of his presidential campaign. But now that Trump is the nominee, she's decided to leave the race, which is a bit of political malpractice, since she didn't endorse Trump in the primary, and now she's backing away from him in order to give him a chance to become the next president of the United States. What does this mean for the future of the Trump campaign? And what will happen to the stock market now that the dust has settled on Super Tuesday s results are in and the dust is starting to settle? 00:00:00.000 Well, it's the end of the road for Nikki Haley, the former UN ambassador under Donald Trump, former governor of South Carolina.
00:00:07.000 She is dropping out of the race today because Donald Trump dominated Super Tuesday.
00:00:11.000 This, of course, was not a shock.
00:00:12.000 The only question was why she was staying in, because the reality was that in every state, except for Vermont, Trump not only won, he won convincingly.
00:00:20.000 In her home state of South Carolina, he beat her by about 20 points.
00:00:23.000 He beat her 60 to 40.
00:00:25.000 In North Carolina, he beat her 73 to 23.
00:00:28.000 In Virginia, he beat her 63 to 34.
00:00:30.000 These are all, particularly Virginia, Virginia is a moderate Republican state.
00:00:34.000 That is not a left-wing Republican state, or a right-wing Republican state.
00:00:38.000 And he beat her very soundly in that state.
00:00:41.000 In California, he beat her 78 to 18.
00:00:43.000 What this suggests is that she really had no shot at the nomination after Iowa.
00:00:48.000 No one had a shot at the nomination after Iowa, as I pointed out, which is why Rhonda
00:00:51.000 Santos dropped out early.
00:00:53.000 It's also why Nikki Haley then stayed in in the hope that she would win New Hampshire.
00:00:56.000 She didn't win New Hampshire.
00:00:57.000 She overperformed a little bit.
00:00:59.000 And then she stayed in past that, mainly to, I think, put up a flag to the rest of the
00:01:03.000 Republican Party that should Trump lose in November, she will be the leader of the opposition
00:01:08.000 ready to come in and take over.
00:01:10.000 I think that's a misread of how Republicans think of Donald Trump.
00:01:13.000 I think that even if Donald Trump loses in November in the general election to Joe Biden, it's very unlikely that the Republican Party is then going to swivel and turn to Nikki Haley, especially because Nikki Haley seems to be making the same mistake that Ted Cruz made in 2016 after losing the primaries.
00:01:27.000 To Donald Trump.
00:01:28.000 You'll recall that Ted Cruz then went to the Republican National Convention and he said, vote your conscience.
00:01:33.000 Instead of just endorsing Trump, he sort of left it up in the air pleasing no one.
00:01:36.000 He suggested to the Trump voters that maybe he wasn't supportive of Trump and to the not Trump voters that maybe he was supportive of Trump and he ended up winning no backing because of that.
00:01:44.000 Nikki Haley seems to be playing the same game, which doesn't seem particularly politically smart to me.
00:01:49.000 It's one thing for Nikki Haley to say, I'm staying in as an alternative to Trump because I think that he's going to lose.
00:01:53.000 But now that he's the nominee, he's the nominee for her to sit outside and not endorse Trump.
00:01:57.000 seems to me a bit of political malpractice. According to the Wall Street Journal,
00:02:01.000 Haley plans to suspend her Republican presidential primary bid in a speech on Wednesday. The former
00:02:07.000 South Carolina governor and UN ambassador is expected to make an appearance to deliver brief
00:02:10.000 remarks around 10 a.m. Eastern. Her decision arrived the day after Super Tuesday. She won
00:02:14.000 only Vermont among the 15 states, and Vermont is basically Canada. She's not going to announce an
00:02:19.000 endorsement on Wednesday, however.
00:02:21.000 She's going to encourage Donald Trump to earn the support of Republicans and independent voters who have backed her, which presumably could theoretically be a vice presidential play.
00:02:28.000 Maybe she's hoping that he picks her as sort of a unity ticket.
00:02:31.000 But given his dominant performance in the primaries, very unlikely at this point that he feels the necessity to do that.
00:02:37.000 So a lot of eyes are going to turn toward who he actually does pick for his VP.
00:02:41.000 There are a lot of people who have been mentioned, ranging from J.D.
00:02:44.000 Vance, the senator from Ohio, to Tim Scott, the senator from South Carolina.
00:02:49.000 We will have to wait and see.
00:02:50.000 Donald Trump, for his part, delivered a Super Tuesday victory speech in which he triumphantly proclaimed that he was the nominee, which of course has been true basically since Iowa.
00:02:59.000 Once he won Iowa, the thing was over.
00:03:02.000 We've watched our country take a great beating over the last three years.
00:03:07.000 And nobody thought a thing like this would be possible.
00:03:10.000 We wouldn't have Russia attacking Ukraine.
00:03:14.000 We wouldn't have Israel being attacked.
00:03:17.000 Iran, as you know, was broke when I was running things.
00:03:20.000 They were broke.
00:03:21.000 They didn't have money for Hamas.
00:03:22.000 They didn't have money for Hezbollah.
00:03:26.000 We had no inflation.
00:03:27.000 Inflation is destroying the middle class.
00:03:29.000 It's destroying everything.
00:03:31.000 Inflation, if you look back over the history, hundreds of years back, it's called, inflation is called a country buster.
00:03:39.000 And that's what it's doing to our country.
00:03:40.000 What's happened with inflation has been unbelievable.
00:03:44.000 A lot of people say, a lot of experts have said, the stock market's the only thing that's doing well, and that's doing well because our poll numbers are so much higher than Joe Biden's.
00:03:56.000 Okay, so all of that is true except for the last part.
00:03:58.000 Nobody is really suggesting that the stock market is doing well because of the expectation that Donald Trump is going to win in November.
00:04:04.000 The stock market is doing well because when you inflate the currency, people don't have any other place to put their investment money.
00:04:09.000 If you put your investment money in cash, it loses value.
00:04:11.000 So people have started investing in speculative stock bubbles, which is why the price-to-earnings ratios right now on Wall Street are completely out of whack, and probably we're experiencing a bubble.
00:04:21.000 On the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the New York Stock Exchange, for example.
00:04:24.000 Donald Trump then went on to rip Joe Biden on migrant crime.
00:04:28.000 Again, he's doing the right thing in this victory speech, which is put all the focus on Joe Biden.
00:04:32.000 If this entire campaign is about Joe Biden, Joe Biden is not going to win.
00:04:35.000 Trump, I think, knows that.
00:04:37.000 The only question is whether Trump steps on himself.
00:04:39.000 He didn't do it last night, really.
00:04:42.000 We have the worst numbers probably.
00:04:44.000 Probably in the history of the world.
00:04:46.000 It's sad to see what's happening to our cities.
00:04:49.000 Our cities are being overrun with migrant crime.
00:04:53.000 And that's Biden migrant crime.
00:04:57.000 But it's a new category of crime, and it's violent.
00:05:00.000 Where they'll stand in the middle of the street and have fistfights with police officers, and if they did that in their countries, from where they came, they'd be killed instantly.
00:05:10.000 Instantly.
00:05:11.000 They wouldn't do that.
00:05:13.000 So the world is laughing at us, the world is taking advantage of us.
00:05:18.000 Three years ago, we were at a level, we were energy-independent, we were gonna be very shortly energy-dominant, and today we're Getting oil from Venezuela, can you believe it?
00:05:29.000 Again, he is not wrong about any of this sort of stuff.
00:05:33.000 Now, the exit polls for Republicans showed that their top issue was immigration, which is not a surprise because it is in fact the top issue in the country right now.
00:05:42.000 Even according to much of the polling data for the general American population, The reality is that immigration is a top issue because people are looking at the insane amount of illegal immigration under Joe Biden.
00:05:52.000 You're talking about at least 7 million people have entered the country illegally while Joe Biden has been president.
00:05:56.000 It may be all the way up to 10 million.
00:05:58.000 We literally have no idea.
00:05:59.000 And people see that as a crisis because it is, in fact, a crisis.
00:06:03.000 So the exit polls showed that was the top issue for Republicans.
00:06:06.000 Now, very often when you take exit polls, people will say the economy, but that's always vague.
00:06:11.000 Nobody actually knows what that means.
00:06:12.000 Obviously in a Republican primary, people are going to pick the issue that is the most polarized issue because they're voting Republican.
00:06:17.000 So it's not a shock they're picking immigration, but the reality is that according to a Pew Research Center survey taken just last month, it shows that immigration is a top issue for a huge majority of Americans dealing with immigration.
00:06:30.000 57% of Americans say that that should be the top priority this year is dealing with illegal immigration.
00:06:37.000 When it comes to immigration, Joe Biden is 20 points underwater.
00:06:40.000 This, of course, is leading Democrats down a real rabbit hole here.
00:06:45.000 They have two choices.
00:06:46.000 They can either moderate on immigration or they can pretend that voters are out of their minds.
00:06:51.000 Obviously, they're going to do what you think they're going to do.
00:06:53.000 They're obviously going to pretend that voters are crazy and out of their minds.

00:07:57.000 So last night on MSNBC, after the exit polling came out showing Republicans care about immigration, Democrats like Jen Psaki, who's the former press secretary for Joe Biden, were mocking Republicans for caring about immigration.
00:08:08.000 I mean, if you look at some of these exit polls, I mean, I live in Virginia.
00:08:11.000 Immigration was the number one issue.
00:08:14.000 Of course, I mean, again, these could change in in Virginia.
00:08:17.000 Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia.
00:08:19.000 Very, very contested.
00:08:21.000 What?
00:08:24.000 Hahaha!
00:08:25.000 Or maybe people are worried that illegal immigrants are going to show up where they live and might commit crimes.
00:08:32.000 Or maybe they are worried about the vast cultural changes that could be wrought by importing millions of people who have no familiarity with American concepts of things like free speech and property rights.
00:08:42.000 Or maybe they are simply worried about the fact that you are generating an entire economic underclass of people, many of whom will be dependent on welfare benefits, and many of whom are going to be lowering the wage base.
00:08:52.000 There are a lot of reasons why people in Virginia might be worried about illegal immigration.
00:08:57.000 And again, Democrats are disconnected from this issue.
00:08:59.000 This is the issue, among the issues that Pew surveys, in which there is the biggest gap between how Democrats think and how Independents think.
00:09:06.000 Forget about Republicans.
00:09:07.000 Independents.
00:09:08.000 So, according to the polling data from Pew, 39% of Democrats believe that immigration is a real concern, compared to 57% of Independents and 76% of Republicans.
00:09:22.000 That is a high number of Independents who are deeply worried about immigration.
00:09:26.000 And that number is up from 53% in 2023 and 49% in 2022.
00:09:27.000 43% in 2023 and 49% in 2022.
00:09:32.000 Democrats meanwhile are still stuck down in the mid 30s on this thing.
00:09:36.000 When it comes to policy goals, again, independents look more like Republicans on a lot of these
00:09:41.000 issues than they look like Democrats on a lot of these issues.
00:09:44.000 And that's a problem for the Democrats.
00:09:47.000 The White House, because they are stuck, as I've been saying, in this legacy media echo chamber in which the idea for them is doubled down on the base, they're ignoring all of this.
00:09:55.000 So the White House yesterday, for example, they were asked about Laken Riley's murder.
00:09:59.000 Laken Riley, of course, was the young woman who was killed at University of Georgia by an illegal immigrant.
00:10:03.000 And the White House tried to blame Donald Trump for that.
00:10:04.000 That dog is not going to hunt.
00:10:06.000 The President of the United States is Joe Biden.
00:10:08.000 He needs to close the border and everybody knows it.
00:10:11.000 Will President Biden publicly address Lake and Riley's murder allegedly at the hands of an illegal immigrant who was released by law enforcement multiple times on Thursday night?
00:10:22.000 We want to always, always be sure that we lift up the families who have lost their loved ones in that way.
00:10:28.000 I would be remiss if I did not continue to say that Republicans rejected a bipartisan proposal that came out of the Senate.
00:10:36.000 And so if they truly, truly cared about what was going on at the border, if they truly cared about this immigration policy and trying to fix that, trying to move forward in a step, in a way where we have a tough and fair law, They would work with us on it.
00:10:51.000 They wouldn't listen to the former president who is clearly telling Republicans to reject it for his own political gain.
00:11:00.000 Again, if they think this is a winning political argument, they're out of their minds.
00:11:03.000 And this, again, goes to the reality of today's modern politics.
00:11:07.000 And that is, everybody in the media is convinced that the right wing has gone crazy, and they've gone too far right, and they're picking crazy candidates.
00:11:13.000 And there is some truth to that.
00:11:14.000 If you look at the last round of senatorial races, Republicans picked a bunch of terrible candidates in a bunch of winnable races, and then they lost those races.
00:11:21.000 But Democrats are now doing the same thing.
00:11:24.000 We now have a game of chicken in which both sides have decided to put the radical brick on the accelerator and then just aim the cars at each other.
00:11:31.000 And the question is, who is going to pull away first before the cars crash?
00:11:36.000 Whoever pulls away first in this case actually wins.
00:11:39.000 It is not as though if you just continue along that path and the other guy pulls away, you win.
00:11:44.000 It's the opposite.
00:11:45.000 In fact, basically this game of chicken is both cars are aimed at the cliff.
00:11:48.000 Which side is going to stop before the cliff at all?
00:11:50.000 Forget about close to the edge.
00:11:52.000 Who's going to stop at all?
00:11:54.000 The reason I point this out is because yesterday, Kirsten Sinema, The senator from Arizona who started off as a Democrat and then governed as a moderate Democrat in what is a moderate purple state.
00:12:03.000 Arizona is a purple state.
00:12:05.000 It was largely a red state.
00:12:06.000 It had a state assembly and a state legislature, state senate, that were both Republican with Doug Ducey, Arizona governor, as a Republican until just very recently.
00:12:15.000 And then the Arizona Republican Party decided they were going to shoot themselves directly in the chest by embracing every form of election questioning they possibly could, alienating every moderate in the entire state.
00:12:26.000 And electing two Democratic senators and a Democratic governor, Katie Hobbs, who's a wet dishrag, over in Arizona.
00:12:33.000 Now, the problem is that the underlying political character of the state of Arizona remains purple.
00:12:39.000 There's a reason why, until very recently, both senators were purple to red senators.
00:12:45.000 It was John McCain until he passed away, and Jeff Flake until Donald Trump basically destroyed him.
00:12:52.000 And those were both replaced by Democrats.
00:12:53.000 And so the Democrats who replaced them have had to govern from quasi the middle.
00:12:57.000 So Mark Kelly, who's one of the senators, he's attempted to govern as sort of a bluish purple Democrat.
00:13:04.000 Kyrsten Sinema was so purple that she eventually just went purple and decided to declare herself an independent.
00:13:10.000 But then, she decided not to run for re-election because the Democratic Party had basically cast her out, and they decided to primary her.
00:13:16.000 So instead of just having Kyrsten Sinema being independent like Bernie Sanders, who caucuses with the Democrats, which is what Kyrsten Sinema would do, they didn't trust her enough, so they decided to run against her Ruben Gallego, who's a far leftist in Arizona.
00:13:29.000 And so, the polls were showing a pretty even three-way split with Kyrsten Sinema in the race.
00:13:35.000 You had the entire Democratic Party behind Gallego, There's an Emerson College polling hill survey that was taken just a couple of weeks ago, and it found that Ruben Gallego had 36% support, 30% for Carrie Lake, the Republican nominee for the Senate, and 21% for Kyrsten Sinema, 13% undecided.
00:13:56.000 And so Kyrsten Sinema looked at that.
00:13:57.000 So Democrats could have easily dominated this race if they had just said, OK, fine, we're not going to run against Kyrsten Sinema.
00:14:02.000 We understand she's an independent, but she's going to caucus with us or it's going to stay out.
00:14:06.000 She easily wins reelection in Arizona.
00:14:07.000 She's a pretty popular senator.
00:14:09.000 But they decided not to do that.
00:14:11.000 And so now they're basically getting rid of her in favor of Ruben Gallego, which makes their race actually significantly harder because Gallego is not in the mainstream of Arizona politics.
00:14:19.000 This is a different thing, by the way, than Republicans basically saying to Mitt Romney, it's time for you to go.
00:14:22.000 The reason that's different is because Utah is a deep red state.
00:14:25.000 Utah is a blood red state.
00:14:25.000 Arizona is a purple state.
00:14:26.000 and controversial lawmakers, a centrist who forged bipartisan deals while also regularly
00:14:30.000 angering progressive Democrats. This is a different thing, by the way, than Republicans
00:14:33.000 basically saying to Mitt Romney, it's time for you to go.
00:14:35.000 The reason that's different is because Utah is a deep red state. Utah is a blood red state.
00:14:39.000 Arizona is a purple state. And for Democrats to get rid of a purple senator who is going to caucus with
00:14:44.000 them in favor of a far left candidate like Gallego is really a fascinating turn of events.
00:14:49.000 Now, if only Republicans had nominated someone who, for example, had not run for governor and lost and then claimed that she won for the last year and a half.
00:14:57.000 That might be nice.
00:14:58.000 But they didn't do that.
00:14:59.000 They ran Kerry Lake instead.
00:15:00.000 So it's Kerry Lake versus Ruben Gallego.
00:15:03.000 Clash of the Titans over in Arizona, demonstrating once more, whoever seizes the middle ground is going to win these elections.
00:15:10.000 But both parties, in some cases, seem to be running away from the middle ground.
00:15:13.000 Ironically, in the presidential race, it's Joe Biden who's running away from the middle ground and Donald Trump who's reaching over and grabbing it, weirdly enough.
00:15:19.000 But in many of the state races, Trumpism has been read as a super right-wing, MAGA MAGA, very far extremist right movement.
00:15:26.000 And so, a lot of the people being nominated are people who are also abandoning the middle, which is not smart.
00:15:31.000 See, the dirty secret I've been saying about Donald Trump is that he is politically moderate and rhetorically extreme.
00:15:37.000 And so many of the people who have been running are politically...
00:15:41.000 Extreme and rhetorically extreme, which is not what Americans are super into.
00:15:45.000 And by the way, even rhetorically extreme only works for Donald Trump.
00:15:47.000 It really does not work for anyone else.
00:15:49.000 Donald Trump is a one-of-one.
00:15:51.000 In the same way that Barack Obama for Democrats was a one-of-one, you cannot be Trump.
00:15:54.000 There is no one who can out-Trump Trump.
00:15:56.000 There's nobody who can even be in that same category.
00:15:58.000 Trump is a stand-up comedian who became President of the United States because he's extraordinarily entertaining.
00:16:02.000 He is camera magnetic.
00:16:04.000 He is always funny.
00:16:06.000 All those things are things that no other politician can hold a candle to because he's in a completely different category.
00:16:13.000 He's an entertainer who became a politician, not a politician trying to be an entertainer.
00:16:17.000 In any case, Kyrsten Sinema being ousted from the Democratic Party and then retiring means that Democrats are also ousting the people who are supposedly reaching to the middle.
00:16:27.000 Now, to be fair to the Democrats, with her out of the race, a head-to-head matchup between Gallego and Lake shows that Gallego's lead actually expands to 7 points, 46-39, with 15% undecided.
00:16:39.000 So, Lake is going to have to reach out to the middle if she wants to win that race.
00:16:43.000 But for his part, Bernie Sanders is triumphalist about this.
00:16:45.000 Bernie Sanders on the far left of the party is like, yeah, we are dragging the entire party far to the left.
00:16:50.000 Shortly before our rehearsal today, Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema announced that she will not be seeking re-election this fall.
00:16:57.000 Obviously, a lot of people are going to miss her.
00:17:02.000 Are you?
00:17:02.000 How much are you going to miss her?
00:17:05.000 Not at all.
00:17:05.000 Crazy person.
00:17:08.000 Says the crazed old goofball socialist.
00:17:11.000 But that's the Democratic Party.
00:17:12.000 They've decided they're going to cater to the Bernie wing of the party rather than the Kyrsten Sinema wing of the party.
00:17:17.000 Joe Biden ran as Kyrsten Sinema and governed as Bernie Sanders, which is actually a really bad strategy, which means that he has kind of one final opportunity to put a new face on his presidency.
00:17:26.000 That, of course, is going to happen this week with his State of the Union address.
00:17:30.000 As Politico points out, the State of the Union may be one of the most vastly overrated speeches in all of politics, but not this year.
00:17:35.000 The address that Joe Biden is set to deliver on Thursday night will come as the president faces intensifying worries about his age and vitality and a host of confounding international crises and domestic challenges.
00:17:44.000 That backdrop has dramatically heightened the stakes for the White House, with millions of viewers tuning in not just to hear the words he utters, but how he physically delivers them.
00:17:51.000 And this, of course, is the key.
00:17:52.000 The key is not to the State of the Union, whether Joe Biden says anything memorable.
00:17:56.000 When's the last time a president said anything memorable during a State of the Union address?
00:17:59.000 They're all terrible.
00:18:00.000 State of the Union addresses.
00:18:02.000 I hate them.
00:18:02.000 I hate them every single year.
00:18:03.000 I don't care who the president is or of what party.
00:18:05.000 They are a monarchic spectacle in which the other branches of the American government are expected to treat the president as though he is an emperor.
00:18:12.000 The State of the Union was supposed to be a letter issued from the president to the legislature giving them an update on things that were going on because government was originally really small and then it turned into this pathetic Imperial spectacle in which the president walks in and everybody cheers for him and kiss the ring.
00:18:26.000 It's just ridiculous.
00:18:27.000 It's a ridiculous, stupid thing.
00:18:28.000 I hate it every single year.
00:18:29.000 It's stupid.
00:18:30.000 It's particularly stupid when you have a president like Joe Biden who has to be wheeled in on a gurney in order to make the statement.
00:18:37.000 But it will be entertaining this year, as I've been saying for a long time since Joe Biden took the presidency.
00:18:42.000 Watching Joe Biden speak is, in fact, quite exciting.
00:18:45.000 Not in the way he thinks it is, but it's very exciting.
00:18:47.000 It's exciting because it's like watching the Willanda Brothers, right?
00:18:49.000 You're watching somebody cross a tightrope in windy weather above a volcano.
00:18:55.000 And so when Joe Biden speaks, the big question is not going to be how well does he do, it's how badly he will do.
00:19:02.000 There's no world in which he walks out and he is super Charismatic and just absolutely fascinating.
00:19:10.000 Rhetorically shocking.
00:19:12.000 Somebody who you look at and you're like, wow, that is an inspirational figure.
00:19:15.000 The question for Joe Biden is whether he is going to physically collapse on stage.
00:19:19.000 Obviously, we'll be covering this over at Daily Wire backstage.
00:19:23.000 We're going to be covering it live tomorrow night, so make sure that you tune in over at dailywire.com for that.
00:19:28.000 The big question is going to be whether Joe Biden physically survives the speech, which means the expectations are quite low.
00:19:34.000 It also means, unfortunately for him, that, again, the more visibility people get of Joe Biden, the less they like him.
00:19:40.000 We'll get to more on this in just one second.
00:19:41.000 First, during this new year, it's important to slow down and think about how we can lift up and help others.
00:19:46.000 Thankfully, there is a company that dedicates everything to helping the less fortunate.
00:19:49.000 That is Food for the Poor.
00:19:51.000 For over 40 years, Food for the Poor has served communities throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.
00:19:55.000 Through a network of trusted ministry partners and local churches, Food for the Poor supplies non-perishable food items and protein-rich meals to children and families suffering from hunger.
00:20:04.000 Many businesses and informal economies, like day labor and local markets, have eliminated jobs or closed permanently, leaving many parents with no way to earn money.
00:20:11.000 Local ministry partners, feeding centers, hospitals, and schools are experiencing rising numbers of malnourished kids.
00:20:16.000 With the help of their generous donors, Food for the poor is able to provide food, housing, healthcare, education, fresh water, emergency relief, and much more.
00:20:23.000 So, how can you help?
00:20:25.000 Well, thanks to a meal-for-meal match, a donation of $80 can feed two children for an entire year.
00:20:29.000 $160 would feed four children.
00:20:30.000 $320 would feed eight children.
00:20:33.000 Your generous gift today changes how families view tomorrow.
00:20:37.000 Donate now by texting PLATE to 51555 or by visiting foodforthepoor.org slash Shapiro.
00:20:43.000 That's PLATE to 51555 or foodforthepoor.org slash Shapiro.
00:20:49.000 So, Joe Biden, yesterday, was asked how he thinks he's doing in the race, and he said, I'm winning!
00:20:54.000 So, President, what's your message to Democrats who are concerned about your poll numbers?
00:21:03.000 My poll number is the last five polls you guys don't report.
00:21:06.000 I'm winning.
00:21:08.000 Five.
00:21:09.000 Five in a row.
00:21:12.000 You guys only look at the New York Times.
00:21:14.000 They're a great paper.
00:21:14.000 I mean, this must have been a scary moment for him because lurking in the background is his worst nightmare, stairs.
00:21:24.000 Um, but I will also point out at this point that that is not true.
00:21:27.000 Of the last five polls that have been taken, he is losing in three of them.
00:21:30.000 The only ones where he is winning, he is inside the margin of error.
00:21:32.000 Those would be Morning Consult and TIPP.
00:21:35.000 In virtually every poll before that, he is losing.
00:21:39.000 So, that's not true.
00:21:40.000 Also, again, one of the reasons he is losing is because he is no longer with us.
00:21:44.000 So yesterday, he was in a press conference, and he does this weird thing where he says the stage directions out loud.
00:21:50.000 If you've ever been to a play, there are stage directions.
00:21:53.000 And the stage direction is like, exit stage left.
00:21:56.000 Okay, well, Joe Biden reads that, like, he'll sort of just read the stage directions a little bit.
00:22:00.000 Alright, now it's time to take some questions.
00:22:01.000 I better not take questions.
00:22:03.000 I don't know, okay, exit stage left.
00:22:05.000 Joe Biden out.
00:22:07.000 Here we go.
00:22:07.000 I love questions.
00:22:11.000 I better not start the questions, I'll get in trouble.
00:22:16.000 With whom?
00:22:17.000 With whom?
00:22:17.000 You're the president.
00:22:18.000 You have a message for voters.
00:22:25.000 He breathes like every breath could be a death rattle.
00:22:29.000 My goodness.
00:22:30.000 He like, picks up the microphone, just uh, I better not take questions or people are gonna...
00:22:33.000 He needs like the Darth Vader suit.
00:22:42.000 Like this is bad, guys.
00:22:45.000 It's just not good.
00:22:47.000 And then he said yesterday that his staff would drop him a note when it was drop dead time.
00:22:51.000 Unfortunate language for the barely sentient president.
00:22:55.000 With that, I'm going to turn this over to Lael, the Director of National Economic Council, but I'm supposed to leave for a meeting with the Business Roundtable on the telephone, but I'm going to hang around and listen a little bit.
00:23:07.000 So, with your permission, I'd like to stay a few, and my staff will tell me when the drop-dead hour occurs.
00:23:14.000 They'll pass me a note.
00:23:17.000 What was that?
00:23:19.000 What in the world was that?
00:23:20.000 I have a phone calling on the rotary in a moment.
00:23:24.000 I'm going to stick around just a little bit if that's okay with you, Pudding.
00:23:33.000 Okay, the thing he actually campaigned on yesterday, oh, that's just him being ridiculously senile, but the thing he actually campaigned on, I'm not kidding you, is shrinkflation.
00:23:42.000 So he believes that he is going to be able to pawn off his poor economic record on inflation on the greed of corporations that are putting less in the potato chip bag and charging the same amount of money, which is his fault!
00:23:56.000 Inflation is your fault!
00:23:57.000 You are the president!
00:23:59.000 Inflation began when you entered office, my friend.
00:24:02.000 But here he was yesterday, but he wasn't just talking about shrinkflation, which again, that's going to be a hell of a campaign slogan.
00:24:08.000 I'm Joe Biden.
00:24:09.000 I'm here to fight shrinkflation.
00:24:12.000 I swear, he sounds like Costanza talking about shrinkage here, except he's citing the cookie monster.
00:24:18.000 Now, the open question in this particular clip is whether Joe Biden believes the cookie monster to be a real thing, like whether the cookie monster is a sentient being who walks around on the earth and eats cookies.
00:24:29.000 Here is Joe Biden quoting the cookie monster.
00:24:30.000 This is where we are, folks.
00:24:33.000 In fact, some of the small snack companies, you won't, and think you won't even notice what they're doing when they charge you just as much for the same size bag of potato chips only has a hell of a lot fewer chips in it.
00:24:47.000 I'll tell you what, I'll tell you who did notice, the cookie monster.
00:24:51.000 He pointed out cookies, his cookies are getting smaller, paying the same price.
00:24:56.000 I was stunned when I found out that's what actually happened.
00:25:01.000 When I talked to Cookie the other day, and he said, Mr. President, she is for Cookie!
00:25:07.000 And I said, oh, I do like Cookie.
00:25:09.000 And then I said, Mr. Cookie Monster, can we be best friends?
00:25:13.000 And then a little red monster showed up and also wanted to be friends.
00:25:16.000 And then they put me under.
00:25:18.000 And, uh, anyway.
00:25:22.000 He's, everything's going well.
00:25:24.000 Get ready for 72 minutes of that tomorrow night.
00:25:26.000 Woo!
00:25:27.000 That's going to be some strong stuff.
00:25:29.000 But again, it's not just that he's seen out.
00:25:31.000 It's that he's bad at this.
00:25:32.000 He's bad.
00:25:33.000 He's bad at the president thing.
00:25:34.000 The most obvious, the most obvious place where he's bad at the president thing right now is in the entire conflagration between Israel and Hamas.
00:25:42.000 We'll get to more on this in just one second.
00:25:44.000 First, take a look at your business.
00:25:46.000 Look around.
00:25:47.000 You need better employees.
00:25:48.000 I mean, the ones you have right now, they're fine, they're good, but you need better employees.

00:26:45.000 So, the United States has continued to provide material support to Israel, but rhetorically, they've been undercutting Israel at every possible turn in their battle against a genocidal terror group.
00:26:54.000 And they've been declaring that Israel should negotiate with this genocidal terror group, who currently holds six American citizens hostage.
00:27:00.000 By the way, among the 134 hostages, we don't know how many are alive, and Hamas says they don't know how many.
00:27:05.000 are alive, which is amazing, I gotta say.
00:27:06.000 Hamas, they are incredible accounting bodies, but they have no idea how many hostages are alive.
00:27:10.000 A bomb hits, and five seconds later, it's 27,221 people have been killed.
00:27:16.000 All of them children, and all of them poets.
00:27:19.000 And then, they're like, sure, you know, it's been like three and a half months since we took 134 ho- we have no idea how many of those people are alive.
00:27:26.000 Weird how your accounting skills wildly degrade the minute that we are talking about the people who you are keeping in captivity and raping routinely, presumably.
00:27:35.000 So, the Biden administration has taken the rhetorical side of Hamas by proclaiming a moral equivalence.
00:27:39.000 See, here's the thing.
00:27:40.000 When you proclaim a moral equivalence between a murderer and the person that person is trying to murder, between the murderer and the victim, you are siding with the murderer.
00:27:49.000 If you say, hey, hold up.
00:27:51.000 Here we have O.J.
00:27:51.000 and here we have Nicole.
00:27:53.000 And sure, sure, Nicole is down on the floor bleeding.
00:27:57.000 And sure, Nicole has a right to self-defense if she's still alive.
00:28:00.000 But let's be real, there have been mistakes made on all sides.
00:28:04.000 You're taking the side of O.J.
00:28:05.000 at that point.
00:28:06.000 And that is what the Biden administration has been doing rhetorically, which, again, is the worst thing they can do.
00:28:11.000 Because if you grant an iota of rhetorical sympathy to terrorists, they are going to push you.
00:28:16.000 They're going to realize that they now have leverage over you.
00:28:19.000 And that's what Hamas realizes.
00:28:21.000 The number of lies this administration has either fallen for or told themselves on behalf of Hamas is insane at this point.
00:28:27.000 So, for example, we've been hearing that Israel will not ship in aid.
00:28:30.000 That's not true.
00:28:31.000 Israel allows in hundreds of aid trucks every single day, but there's no one to distribute the aid.
00:28:35.000 You want to know why there's no one to distribute the aid in the Gaza Strip?
00:28:38.000 Perhaps because Hamas hijacks the trucks.
00:28:40.000 Here is tape of Hamas riding around on the aid trucks.
00:28:43.000 This is from yesterday.
00:28:49.000 You see that?
00:28:49.000 These are aid trucks.
00:28:50.000 There are two members of Hamas on top of each one of these aid trucks.
00:28:53.000 These are all civilians who are standing there being like, where's my damned food?
00:28:56.000 And the answer is Hamas is stealing all of it.
00:29:00.000 And then the Biden administration's like, what if we send them more?
00:29:01.000 It's as if the Israelis are being so mean about it.
00:29:04.000 Hamas is stealing the aid and they're killing people who are trying to get the aid.
00:29:08.000 It's totally insane.
00:29:10.000 But then Israel gets blamed.
00:29:11.000 Rhetorically speaking, Israel needs to do more, says the Biden administration.
00:29:14.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden yesterday says, we need a ceasefire because of Ramadan.
00:29:18.000 Okay, I'm sorry, this bulls**t has to stop.
00:29:20.000 It's so ridiculous.
00:29:22.000 This is such ridiculous nonsense.
00:29:24.000 Ramadan is very holy holiday to the terrorists who are willing to literally violate every single other human being's religious scruples.
00:29:31.000 On Ramadan, everybody has to go real easy because people are fasting between sunrise and sunset.
00:29:37.000 Gotta go real easy because it turns out terrorists, they love them their Ramadan in Hamas land over here.
00:29:42.000 Gotta be so easy on them because obviously these are people we have to respect their religious scruples that dictate that they should murder pretty much everybody who is not a religious Muslim.
00:29:52.000 Makes perfect sense, because obviously they have demonstrated enormous, enormous credibility when it comes to respect for other religions.
00:29:58.000 Like, for example, when the Palestinian Arabs were in charge of the holy sites, Jews can't get in.
00:30:06.000 In fact, if Jews tried to worship at their own holy sites, when the state of Israel did not exist, for example, the Western Wall, giant riots would start, like in 1929, and hundreds of Jews would be murdered.
00:30:16.000 So obviously, listen, if there is one thing that the radical Muslim world is known for, it's respect for other religions, which is why they literally blow up churches and build mosques on top of them, or go directly on top of the Temple Mount and put the Dome of the Rock directly on top of the Jewish Holy of Holies from the Temple.
00:30:31.000 It's also why they go to Hindu sites in India, blow up the Hindu sites and put a mosque on top, because if they're, again, when we are talking about colonialist religions, folks, there is one that wins.
00:30:40.000 The most colonialist religion of all time is Islam.
00:30:44.000 But, There can be moderate Muslims.
00:30:47.000 They're just not in Hamas land.
00:30:49.000 There are many moderate Muslims.
00:30:50.000 I know some moderate Muslims.
00:30:52.000 People who don't actually believe in the colonial legacy of Sharia law.
00:30:56.000 But to pretend that Ramadan is the deciding factor in whether Israel should be able to go and try to take back its hostages and kill terrorists is totally insane.
00:31:06.000 Again, demonstrating, once again, radical Muslim sympathy for other religions, the last two major surprise wars that launched Israel were launched on, respectively, the Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar in 1973, and Simchat Torah, which was October 7th.
00:31:19.000 Simchat Torah is the happiest day in the Jewish calendar.
00:31:22.000 It also happened to be a Shabbat.
00:31:24.000 It's like a double holiday for Jews.
00:31:25.000 Perfect time for Hamas to respect the religion, and Palestinian civilians involved, to respect the religion of the Jews by killing 1,200 of them.
00:31:33.000 But Joe Biden's like, Ramadan's coming.
00:31:35.000 We gotta be careful about... Honestly, it's so stupid.
00:31:39.000 It's so stupid.
00:31:40.000 You're not winning hearts and minds by trying to get a ceasefire on behalf of terrorist groups for Ramadan.
00:31:46.000 Who's whispering in Joe's ear who believes this?
00:31:49.000 Or does Joe just believe this in his adult brain?
00:31:54.000 Well, there's got to be a ceasefire because Ramadan, if we get into a circumstance where this continues through Ramadan, Israel and Jerusalem again, it could be very, very dangerous.
00:32:07.000 So we're looking, we're trying hard for that ceasefire.
00:32:11.000 Oh, you mean that there will be, you know, acts of rioting on the Temple Mount, like there is every single year, and then you'll blame the Jews for the acts of rioting by the Muslims on the Temple Mount?
00:32:20.000 I've been up there, by the way.
00:32:21.000 And the Muslim world then suggests that I am, quote-unquote, trespassing or invading the Temple Mount, by which they mean I walk around it.
00:32:29.000 That's what they mean.
00:32:29.000 You're literally barred from praying on the Temple Mount by the Islamic Waqf, so long as you're a Jew or a Christian, by the way.
00:32:34.000 If you're a Muslim, you can be up there playing soccer and eating McDonald's, which is literally what happens on the Temple Mount.
00:32:39.000 There's literally a school in the corner of the Temple Mount, this very holy site to Muslims, where kids are playing soccer and flying kites.
00:32:45.000 So yeah, in any case, this is stupid, but what exactly does it mean?
00:32:50.000 So the Biden administration, they're pursuing a ceasefire and Hamas is rejecting every ceasefire.
00:32:55.000 Hamas literally rejected the last ceasefire offer.
00:33:00.000 That ceasefire offer was an offer for a six-week ceasefire in return for leasing the remaining female hostages.
00:33:07.000 And Hamas rejected it outright.
00:33:11.000 According to the New York Times, President Biden said Tuesday talks on a possible six-week ceasefire in Gaza are in the hands of Hamas right now.
00:33:16.000 He spoke just before Hamas leader in Lebanon appeared to reject a proposed deal the U.S.
00:33:20.000 is backing, insisting Israeli hostages would be released only after a ceasefire was in place and Israeli forces have withdrawn.
00:33:27.000 So Hamas knows they are in control because Biden wants the ceasefire more than he wants Israel to destroy Hamas.
00:33:33.000 That is just the bottom line here.
00:33:35.000 And so because of that, Biden is now shifting his line to mirror Hamas, according to I-24 News.
00:33:42.000 While holding out for Hamas to accept a ceasefire and hostage release proposal, US and Arab negotiators floated a potential short pause to hostilities while the larger deal gets ironed out.
00:33:51.000 So what would that mean?
00:33:52.000 That would mean calling for a ceasefire without any hostages being released, which is called losing.
00:33:58.000 You think the Israelis are going to go for that?
00:34:00.000 It's the most insane stupidity ever.
00:34:03.000 It's ridiculously insane.
00:34:04.000 And the media and the political class, they're like, oh, well, this is because Joe Biden doesn't get along with Bibi.
00:34:09.000 This has nothing to do with Joe Biden and Bibi.
00:34:11.000 Benny Gantz just visited Washington, D.C.
00:34:13.000 He got the same exact treatment from Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.
00:34:17.000 One of the great lies of foreign policy is that foreign policy is constructed based on individual likes and dislikes of the leaders of countries.
00:34:24.000 It is not.
00:34:25.000 It is based on the individual interests of countries.
00:34:28.000 It doesn't matter very much whether you like or dislike Vladimir Putin or whether you get along with him or not.
00:34:33.000 What matters is whether his interests are actually in coincidence with your own.
00:34:38.000 And the same thing holds true with Israeli leaders or with Palestinian leaders.
00:34:42.000 We ought to be absolutely clear and gimlet-eyed about the question of American national interest and the national interest of other countries.
00:34:51.000 And this bizarre notion that America has some sort of disagreement with Bibi Netanyahu personally, and therefore, they have to make some sort of concessions to Hamas, it's absolute stupidity.
00:35:01.000 Meanwhile, by the way, Iran is activating all of its proxies.
00:35:04.000 They know they've got a fish on the line, and that fish is the Biden administration.
00:35:08.000 So Hezbollah has been heating up because they know that Joe Biden wants one thing above all, and that is a ceasefire in the region.
00:35:13.000 And so they are ratcheting up their military action in the attempt to gain concessions via the United States from the Israelis.
00:35:20.000 So yesterday, for example, Hezbollah launched 50 rockets into the north of Israel.
00:35:24.000 Now, any self-respecting country receiving 50 rockets across its border would then go and womp The people on the other side of the border.
00:35:31.000 Can you imagine if the Mexican government, not the drug cartels, the government, because Hezbollah basically runs the government in Lebanon, decided that they were going to launch 50 rockets into San Diego?
00:35:42.000 Mexico City would not exist the next morning.
00:35:45.000 At the very least, you'd have Marines sipping tea from the Capitol.
00:35:49.000 But here is what the video looks like on the northern border of Israel, where, again, 30,000 Israelis have abandoned their homes in the north because of Hezbollah threats.
00:35:56.000 And there's widespread expectation in Israel that within the next two to three months, there will be a large-scale war in the north with Hezbollah, which is aiming 200,000 rockets at Israel.
00:36:04.000 Here's what it looks like when a terrorist group fires rockets into another sovereign country.
00:36:09.000 This is Hezbollah just launching rockets over the border at Israel.
00:36:20.000 And it's only thanks to the Iron Dome.
00:36:22.000 You can see the Iron Dome, which is being shot up into the sky to knock down some of these rockets.
00:36:26.000 If it were not for Iron Dome, these would all be falling and killing people.
00:36:30.000 The Biden administration, of course, is seeking ceasefires.
00:36:32.000 Ceasefire, ceasefire, ceasefire.
00:36:34.000 And because they are in hock to their radical base, this all goes back to that central contention.
00:36:40.000 The Democratic Party has moved so far to the left that they can't see straight anymore at all.
00:36:44.000 We'll get to that in just one moment.
00:36:45.000 First, Russia has been in the headlines for weeks due to the actions of Vladimir Putin, obviously.
00:36:50.000 To comprehend Vladimir Putin's motivations, we have to examine the historical context that shaped his behaviors.
00:36:55.000 In the new season of What We Saw in Empire of Terror, host Bill Whittle unmasks communism by taking a close look at the history of the Soviet Union.
00:37:02.000 With the use of deep cut photographs and film, journal entries and other primary sources, this tale of terror offers a compelling presentation on the horrors that plagued the Soviet Union and the viciousness of its leaders.
00:37:12.000 Modern day Russia has been centuries in the making.
00:37:14.000 This series will give you a better understanding of its history, as well as communism that threatens our own homeland.

00:37:54.000 Make sure you check that out on Saturday.
00:37:56.000 Okay, meanwhile, speaking of the Democratic Party captured by radicals, again, you can see the radical base of the Democratic Party is pushing Joe Biden to the left.
00:38:04.000 And again, it is most obvious on a couple of issues.
00:38:06.000 Immigration is one.
00:38:07.000 The Democratic Party could easily cut a deal with Republicans or just enact executive orders.
00:38:13.000 In order to shut down the border.
00:38:14.000 And they're not doing it because they're in hock to their radical base.
00:38:16.000 You can also see it most clearly with regard to Israel and Hamas.
00:38:19.000 This is the most morally obvious conflict in modern history.
00:38:22.000 It is between a democratic state that was literally just attacked with the worst terror attack since 9-11 in the West and a genocidal terror group that is holding hostages right now.
00:38:32.000 And suddenly the left is like, well, I don't know about that.
00:38:34.000 It's pretty, it's pretty convoluted.
00:38:35.000 It's pretty, you know, I don't know what I would do.
00:38:37.000 This is why you get morons like Nick Kristof at the New York Times, a moral I get this question regularly, and I acknowledge that Israel faced a difficult challenge.
00:38:47.000 It was hard to target Hamas without risking civilians.
00:38:49.000 My answer is, what I would not do is kill 31,000 people in Vancouver, including 12,500 children and starve the entire population.
00:38:55.000 The question was, imagine terrorist rockets fired from Vancouver into Portland, Oregon.
00:38:59.000 What would you do?
00:39:00.000 Okay, but you didn't answer the question.
00:39:01.000 So your question is, I wouldn't do what the Israelis would do, but I will sit here and I'll pontificate like a giant jackass.
00:39:07.000 This is the left.
00:39:08.000 This is the left right now.
00:39:08.000 So the left has decided that basically, if you are evil enough, this means you earn a free ticket to left wing land.
00:39:15.000 It's great.
00:39:16.000 If you're evil enough, this suggests that you're victimized.
00:39:19.000 See, in the victim, victim, victimizer narrative, the oppressor oppressed narrative, Whoever is the worst is considered the oppressed.
00:39:27.000 Because remember, you have to link that up with the left-wing idea that everyone who acts badly is doing so because of childhood trauma and people being mean to them.
00:39:35.000 That people are naturally good and naturally kind and naturally wonderful.
00:39:39.000 And therefore, if somebody blows themselves up in a cafe and they take a bunch of kids with them, Then that's probably because they had a really rough childhood.
00:39:46.000 And so they are the victim, not the victimizer.
00:39:48.000 They are the victim.
00:39:49.000 The worse you act, the more evil you are, the more you have been victimized by outside forces.
00:39:54.000 And thus, your actual victims are the victimizers.
00:39:57.000 Complete reversal of victim and victimizer.
00:40:00.000 The most obvious example of this is Judith Butler.
00:40:02.000 So Judith Butler is one of the most damaging academics of the last 60 years.
00:40:06.000 She is famously a founder of queer theory.
00:40:11.000 She's a person who became famous by suggesting that all of gender is a social construct.
00:40:16.000 There's no linkage whatsoever between your biology and your behavior.
00:40:19.000 It's all a social construct.
00:40:21.000 She says that the body itself is a social construct.
00:40:25.000 That it's defined as all about power.
00:40:27.000 She says that gender itself is a verb that constructs.
00:40:30.000 It's a performance.
00:40:31.000 Everything is performative.
00:40:33.000 And gender is a, quote, struggle to rework the norms by which bodies are experienced.
00:40:36.000 And for most of her life, she considered herself a woman.
00:40:38.000 Now she says, thanks to gender non-binary nonsense that she helps create, she is a they-them.
00:40:43.000 But she's really just a crazy lady.
00:40:44.000 And this crazy lady, who is respected in academic circles because she writes absolute turgid gobbledygook that makes no sense to anyone with a sentient prefrontal cortex.
00:40:54.000 This stolt is not just a moron when it comes to Gender theory and her bizarre notions that gender is entirely constructed and made up and all the rest of this garbage.
00:41:03.000 But that links up with her belief that terrorists are not in fact terrorists.
00:41:06.000 So she was talking about the situation between Israel and Hamas the other day.
00:41:11.000 And she decided to lay down a theory.
00:41:13.000 Her theory is that October 7th, which involved the mass rape of women, the murder of men, women, the slaughter of children, the beheading of foreigners and Jews, the kidnapping of women and repeated rape of those women, that all of that was just an act of resistance.
00:41:28.000 Because after all, you have to understand that what we are watching right now is the coalition of the pseudo-oppressed who have decided that any system in which they are unsuccessful, they are the victims.
00:41:37.000 And therefore, they can do whatever they want.
00:41:39.000 When you link up that oppressor-oppressed narrative in which everybody who is a failure has been oppressed in some way, everybody who is evil has been oppressed in some way, you link that up with the friends for no notion.
00:41:51.000 That resistance can come in any form, and that's how you end up with Judith Butler, one of the most evil human beings of the last 60 years.
00:41:59.000 Here she was yesterday, justifying Hamas.
00:42:03.000 We can have different views about Hamas as a political party.
00:42:08.000 We can have different views about armed resistance, but I think it is more honest and historically
00:42:24.000 correct to say that the uprising of October 7th was an act of armed resistance.
00:42:31.000 It's a good thing.
00:42:32.000 It is not a terrorist attack and it's not an anti-semitic attack.
00:42:36.000 It was an attack against Israelis and You know, I did not like that attack.
00:42:43.000 I have gone public with this.
00:42:45.000 I have gotten in trouble for saying it.
00:42:48.000 Oh, you didn't like it?
00:42:49.000 It was, for me, anguishing.
00:42:51.000 It was anguishing.
00:42:52.000 It was terrible.
00:42:54.000 However, I would be very foolish if I then decided that the only violence in the scene was the violence done to Israeli people.
00:43:05.000 The violence done to Palestinians has been happening for decades.
00:43:09.000 This was an uprising.
00:43:10.000 That comes from a state of subjugation and against a violent state apparatus.
00:43:22.000 Oh, as opposed to Hamas, which is not a violent state apparatus, or Iran, which is not a violent state apparatus.
00:43:27.000 It's the democratic state of Israel, which has 20% Arab citizenry.
00:43:31.000 That's the violent state apparatus, according to this absolutely Ridiculous piece of filth.
00:43:38.000 I mean, she's truly one of the worst people on the planet.
00:43:40.000 Truly an awful human being.
00:43:42.000 By the way, she says that she's associated with Jewish Voices for Peace.
00:43:45.000 The best thing about Jewish Voices for Peace is the only actual word in that title that is true is of.
00:43:52.000 They're not Jewish, they're not for peace, and they're not really voices for peace or Jewish voices.
00:43:57.000 So none of that is true.
00:43:59.000 So they're of.
00:44:01.000 When she suggests, again, that narrative is the most dangerous narrative, and it's a narrative that threatens the entire West.
00:44:05.000 This is why when people say, why should I care about what's going on far away?
00:44:09.000 I get it.
00:44:09.000 I do.
00:44:10.000 I understand.
00:44:10.000 Why should you care what's going on?
00:44:12.000 But it's not going on far away.
00:44:13.000 It's going on in your shores.
00:44:14.000 Judith Butler is a famous American academic.
00:44:18.000 Her work is taught all over the United States in gender theory classes to your children.
00:44:23.000 Her entire philosophy has been mainlined into the educational system, not just with regard to gender, but with regard to values as a whole.
00:44:30.000 The post-modernist notion that all morality is effectively constructed, but there's a victim and a victimizer, and the victimizer is always the successful person, and the victim is always the failure, and that's because the system itself is bad.
00:44:41.000 That's how you end up.
00:44:43.000 with genderqueer, nonconforming Judith Butler on the same side as Hamas, who would gladly chop off her head in a moment, were she to be placed into the Gaza Strip.
00:44:53.000 Now, they probably wouldn't chop off her head because they know that she's a wonderful, useful idiot for them.
00:44:57.000 If they knew who she was, they would prop her up because, of course, she's very useful to them.
00:45:00.000 But, if they had no idea and she just wandered into the Gaza Strip, she would look like any other Jewish, lesbian, nonconformist left-winger, and they would chop off her head right away.
00:45:13.000 Okay, so, but you have to understand why the alliance exists.
00:45:15.000 The alliance exists and it is a danger to the West.
00:45:17.000 It is not just a danger to Israel.
00:45:19.000 It is a danger to the West.
00:45:21.000 There are millions of people who believe the softer form of what she is saying.
00:45:26.000 And the left has patted this on the head.
00:45:27.000 The left has imbibed from this well.
00:45:29.000 This is the difference between the old school Democratic liberals and the far left Bernie Sanders wing that is taking over the Democratic Party.
00:45:37.000 And it's all part of a piece.
00:45:38.000 It is all part of a broader whole cloth rewriting of morality.
00:45:41.000 See, typically, when you speak of Judeo-Christian morality, you mean that in any given situation, we can determine whether somebody is a victim or a victimizer by whether they are in fact a victim or a victimizer.
00:45:51.000 Have they done something wrong?
00:45:52.000 Have they done something that violates morality?
00:45:55.000 Have they done something that violates moral scruples and rules?
00:45:58.000 But identity is victim or victimizer, according to the left.
00:46:04.000 And the best way to tell whether somebody's a victim or a victimizer is whether they stand on behalf of the system.
00:46:08.000 And success within the system means you're a purveyor of the system.
00:46:10.000 The system is bad.
00:46:11.000 The fundamental premise of all left-wing coalitional thought is that the system is bad and must be torn down.
00:46:18.000 And so Hamas can end up on the same side as Queers for Palestine, even if they would kill each other.
00:46:22.000 Given the first available opportunity.
00:46:24.000 It's the coalition that matters, Uber Alice.
00:46:25.000 It's the thing that matters more than anything else.
00:46:28.000 The system has to be torn down.
00:46:30.000 And so when we talk about all these issues that seem utterly disconnected, like transing of the kids and support for Hamas, you have to wonder how did they end up on the same side?
00:46:38.000 The answer is both want to tear down Judeo-Christian moral values.
00:46:42.000 That is what they are about.
00:46:43.000 And so when you see a symptom of that crop up in the moral ambivalence about Israel-Hamas, that is a symptom of a much broader malady.
00:46:52.000 And treating that symptom in isolation, as though it has nothing to do with the underlying malady, means that the malady is going to get worse.
00:46:58.000 It's going to metastasize.
00:47:00.000 It's like you have a symptom of cancer, and you just treat the symptom, but you pay no attention to the cancer.
00:47:04.000 You're gonna die of the cancer.
00:47:05.000 That's the West right now.
00:47:07.000 The bizarre left-wing support of Hamas is an amazing indicator of just how deeply rooted the cancer of radical left thought has gone.
00:47:16.000 And it really has gone quite deep.
00:47:18.000 Alrighty, guys.
00:47:19.000 The rest of the show continues right now.
