00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody, Tana Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:01.000 Peter Navarro joins us and Steve Moore to talk about the midterms.
00:00:05.000 What would happen if you wanted to destroy the country?
00:00:07.000 Well, how would you act?
00:00:09.000 And what's going on in Chicago?
00:00:10.000 One of my favorite topics, or at least favorite topics to talk about, considering what's happening in the once great city.

00:00:32.000 Here we go.
00:00:33.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:34.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
00:00:37.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:40.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:43.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:44.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:45.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:00:47.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:00:54.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:02.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:18.000 Joining us now is Peter Navarro.
00:01:19.000 I really like Peter Navarro.
00:01:21.000 He's a great American patriot.
00:01:23.000 He's very clear and courageous, and he has a new book, Taking Back Trump's America.
00:01:28.000 And he joins us right now.
00:01:29.000 Peter, how are you doing?
00:01:30.000 None too soon to take back Trump's America.
00:01:32.000 That's just not a book for me, Charlie.
00:01:34.000 It's a mission right now.
00:01:36.000 And as I talk about in Taking Back Trump's America, we got to get back to the White House in 2024.
00:01:42.000 But in the next less than 30 days, critical that we get back to Congress, critical that we rip that gavel from Nancy Pelosi's cold, unconstitutional hands.
00:01:54.000 We get the Senate back as well and begin the process of legally and constitutionally rebuilding our economy, rebuilding election integrity.
00:02:03.000 And by the way, send in a few subpoenas their way to figure out why the FBI for the last six years, six years, Charlie, and I was there at the beginning, has been trying a preemptive coup on Donald Trump to keep him from being in the Oval Office or get back there again.
00:02:21.000 So I always appreciate talking with you, Charlie.
00:02:24.000 The folks who listen to your show, that's the future.
00:02:28.000 And these are the folks that we've got to mobilize and give the appropriate information to so that they can make interesting and good choices about how to move forward.
00:02:42.000 It's important.
00:02:42.000 Thank you for those kind words, Peter.
00:02:44.000 So, Peter, let me ask you: you say it's important to take back the House and the Senate.
00:02:47.000 I totally agree.
00:02:48.000 But every so often I get an email from somebody and I counter it on air, but I want your take.
00:02:53.000 They say, Charlie, I live in a state where I don't have great candidate selections.
00:02:59.000 And I have a Senate candidate who is a moderate rhino and a Democrat.
00:03:03.000 Peter, is it the argument at this moment, a couple weeks out from the midterms when the primaries are over, for us to quote unquote take the lesser of two evils and vote for the Republican, even though we know we're not going to agree with them on everything?
00:03:18.000 Is that what MAGA should do at this moment if presented with that choice?
00:03:23.000 Charlie, that's certainly what MAGA should do at this point.
00:03:27.000 But I think the more complete answer to that question right now with less than 30 days to the election is the internet.
00:03:35.000 We live in a digital world.
00:03:38.000 And so rather than whine or worry about the candidates you might be in a state or your own Congress race, there's 50 races out there, Charlie, that are toss-ups right now that we can grab.
00:03:52.000 Okay?
00:03:53.000 50.
00:03:53.000 And so, what I put out in my Baker's Dozen on Bannon's War Room the other day, it's kind of some of the caught my eye.
00:04:02.000 Let me just give you a few of them so we don't overwhelm the audience.
00:04:07.000 But, for example, one of my favorites that we got to get is Zach Nunn in Iowa 3 to Axy Axne, Cindy Axne.
00:04:17.000 She is a Pelosi puppet in a red state of Iowa, and she's hanging on by a thread.
00:04:25.000 So, you can just go and Google Zach Nunn and get that done.
00:04:30.000 In North Carolina, for example, we got Bo Hines.
00:04:36.000 In California, there's a long shot race, which Kevin McCarthy, the Republican minority leader, has ignored for God knows why.
00:04:46.000 Pete Hernandez, this guy's a great candidate in a newly formed Latino district, running against one of the kangaroo court people on that January 6th witch hunt.
00:05:00.000 And if we could win that race, as we should, that would be great.
00:05:04.000 You got Caroline Levitt, who I was in the White House, very young woman in the press shop.
00:05:10.000 She's a firebrand, one of the most articulate young folks I've ever heard speak.
00:05:18.000 She's a good one.
00:05:18.000 There's a couple of races in Texas with really good Latino candidates, but this is the thing to do.
00:05:26.000 And by the way, aside from that list, I would say it's critical to help Blake Masters, the Senate candidate in Arizona, to defeat Mark Kelly, the astronaut.
00:05:41.000 That's the only thing that guy's going for him.
00:05:44.000 He's Mr. Spaceman, and somehow that gets you a few votes.
00:05:47.000 But if we can get that seat, we know that McConnell has done everything to stop Blake from getting in there because Blake is not going to support McConnell.
00:05:57.000 But that's a great one to win.
00:06:00.000 And then the governor's, Charlie, the hat trick is Kerry Lake in Arizona, Tudor Dixon in Michigan, which the mainstream corporate media is trying to bury with suppression polls.
00:06:13.000 And of course, Doug Mastriano, who he's a hero of mine.
00:06:17.000 I go back to when the battle, I don't know if you remember this, Charlie, but when we had the original battle in Pennsylvania over election integrity, Mastriano led the charge on that in the state Senate.
00:06:32.000 And this guy, Jake Corman, a Republican rhino, cut his legs out from under him, successfully cut Mastriano's legs.
00:06:42.000 But karma's a Charlie, because Mastriano ran for governor.
00:06:46.000 He trounced Corman, and now he's on the verge of winning a state, which, in my judgment, Pennsylvania, should always be a red state.
00:06:56.000 It's a blue-collar, working-class manufacturing, fracking state.
00:07:02.000 And there's no other reason other than election theft that that thing should ever be in blue land.
00:07:09.000 So, those are just some of the ways.
00:07:11.000 So, when you get those calls, Charlie, it's like, yeah, you got to hold your nose, whatever.
00:07:16.000 But the more important thing is to go out and win some of those toss-up races so we can have Trump Republicans in the House, in the Senate.
00:07:28.000 That's exactly right.
00:07:28.000 And we had Doug Mastriano on the program this week.
00:07:31.000 We're 100% behind Doug.
00:07:33.000 And boy, I tell you what, I live in Arizona.
00:07:36.000 I'm biased.
00:07:36.000 I'm a big Kerry Lake fan.
00:07:39.000 But, Peter, I think Kerry Lake could be a transformational governor in a very positive way and have a really optimistic, forward-thinking message and agenda for all people.
00:07:51.000 And she's running up against a very poor candidate.
00:07:54.000 And Carrie has done things so unconventionally.
00:07:56.000 She doesn't really do big fundraisers.
00:07:59.000 She doesn't run a lot of TV ads.
00:08:00.000 And the latest poll shows her up three points on Katie Hobbs.
00:08:04.000 And it's probably even more than that because MAGA is so hard to pull.
00:08:08.000 And so, Peter, how do you diagnose the kind of health of the MAGA movement heading into the midterms at this moment?
00:08:15.000 I know some of our candidates are surging.
00:08:17.000 Some are kind of in the middle.
00:08:18.000 You know, what else needs to be done?
00:08:21.000 I suppose I could ask from now to the midterms.
00:08:24.000 I think the Taking Back Trump's America book is important because it really is a textbook on how to run a MAGA campaign.
00:08:33.000 And the problem we had in 2020 because of termites in the White House, we weren't able to fully embrace that.
00:08:40.000 But, Charlie, if I may, the difference, as I explained in Taking Back Trump's America between the traditional Republicans and MAGA is this: we agree with the rhinos on a low tax burden for families, on a low regulatory burden for businesses, on strategic energy dominance.
00:09:00.000 We agree on all of that.
00:09:02.000 Where we diverge from the McConnell, Wall Street, Silicon Valley multinational corporation, corporate love China people is on the end endless wars, on securing our southern border.
00:09:16.000 The rhinos love bringing that cheap labor across and on manufacturing and supply chains on U.S. soil, not in the sweatshops of Asia.
00:09:28.000 And so, if you're a candidate running wherever you are in this country, that's a working-class message.
00:09:37.000 Bring our manufacturing home through good trade policy, through buy American, secure our southern borders so we don't have our wages driven down, our schools and emergency rooms overrun, and people being shot in the street or raped by illegals.
00:09:55.000 Now, I'll tell you, Charlie, it's sheer math, okay?
00:10:00.000 You can make the argument as Steve Bannon and I always do: like these people are just acting rationally, they're coming to the promised land.
00:10:07.000 It's our job to stop that.
00:10:10.000 But the problem is that statistically, there's an iron law.
00:10:14.000 There's a certain percentage of people who come across that border who are going to commit crimes: burglary, robbery, rape, murder.
00:10:25.000 It's all there in the statistics.
00:10:28.000 And so, the bigger the flow, when you get 2 million, you get a lot more crime than if you get 100,000 over.
00:10:34.000 And we solve the problem.
00:10:36.000 It's all in the Taking Back Trump's America.
00:10:38.000 Well, when Pat Sipalone and the president came up with an idea in 2018 that solved that problem, Biden undidded it, Charlie.
00:10:48.000 I don't know about you, but I spend a lot of time making my house feel like home, indoors and out.

00:12:02.000 That is fastgrowingtrees.com slash Kirk.
00:12:08.000 We have been warning about how extra constitutional measures are being used to be able to isolate and punish people with certain beliefs, things that the government would not be able to do.
00:12:20.000 And what if I told you that the bank that you use might just be able to deactivate your account at any moment?
00:12:27.000 This is one of the reasons why at Turning Point USA, we've been moving all of our funds away from J.P. Morgan Chase.
00:12:34.000 You should never use J.P. Morgan Chase because yesterday, J.P. Morgan Chase comes out and they have cut all ties with Kanye West.
00:12:41.000 They say, we don't want your business anymore, which I can't imagine would be a good business decision to cancel a guy worth $2 billion.
00:12:49.000 And look, you might not like what Kanye had to say recently.
00:12:51.000 I certainly believe he could have said it differently.
00:12:53.000 I don't even know what he was trying to say, but I met Kanye years ago.
00:12:56.000 He's a good person.
00:12:58.000 He's a creative person.
00:12:59.000 He's a Christian, and he's brought a lot of people to the Lord with one of the best-selling, best-performing Christian music albums ever.
00:13:07.000 And there's very good things in there.
00:13:09.000 It really is.
00:13:10.000 And people slander him and they attack him and all this.
00:13:12.000 But you have to understand, Kanye's a creative mind.
00:13:15.000 He communicates differently.
00:13:17.000 And that's for whatever reason why J.P. Morgan then sends him a letter where JPMorgan says, Dear Yay, we're sending this letter to confirm our recent discussion that J.P. Morgan Chase has decided to end its banking relationship with Yeezy LLC.
00:13:32.000 Now, what's so amazing to me is that I was told for years by the market Puritans, which I love free markets, it's great, that companies will never do anything that is not in their profit interest.
00:13:45.000 This is not in their profit interest.
00:13:48.000 This is in their political interest.
00:13:51.000 They stand to lose millions of dollars in fees and commissions to close the Yeezy LLC.
00:13:57.000 To provide the company with sufficient time to transition, we will obviously keep your account open for another month.
00:14:03.000 By the way, I know of at least 10 conservatives, 10 conservatives that have been canceled by BOA, by Wells Fargo, and J.P. Morgan Chase in the last couple of days.
00:14:12.000 At least 10.
00:14:14.000 At least 10 different conservatives that have been canceled all across the board.
00:14:19.000 And here's Kanye West, who then posts this letter.
00:14:22.000 And what is the crime that Kanye West committed?
00:14:28.000 And look, again, I'll say this.
00:14:29.000 Kanye West can be a loose cannon.
00:14:32.000 I don't love what he said, but to indict all of his character and everything there because of one social media post, I just don't like it at all.
00:14:43.000 And by the way, give him a chance to explain it.
00:14:45.000 What did he mean by it?
00:14:46.000 Or ask for forgiveness or an apology.
00:14:49.000 And because of that, he gets completely and totally canceled because of this.
00:14:54.000 He no longer is able to bank.
00:14:57.000 You know, it really is interesting and fascinating.
00:14:59.000 All of the just the mountain of anti-Semitic, anti-Christian comments that you could find with people in Hollywood.
00:15:08.000 Why didn't they lose their banking privileges?
00:15:12.000 What about all the wacky things that Democrats say?
00:15:15.000 Again, I'm not going out of my way to defend what was said.
00:15:17.000 That's not the point.
00:15:18.000 I will say that I will defend Kanye West as a person.
00:15:20.000 I think the slander against him and the smearing against him is wrong and terrible and awful.
00:15:24.000 And I say that as someone who has spent significant time with him, I think he's a really sweet person.
00:15:29.000 And I think he cares about people, truly.
00:15:32.000 I mean, the nonstop propaganda of the anti-white stuff that is said, the anti-Christian stuff, the anti-Semitic stuff.
00:15:39.000 How about this?
00:15:40.000 Why is Elon Omar allowed to have bank accounts?
00:15:44.000 Elon Omar is not just an anti-Semite.
00:15:47.000 I'm not saying Kanye is, but Elon Omar has policies that are anti-Semitic.
00:15:54.000 How about this?
00:15:54.000 Why does University of California, Berkeley, allowed to have bank accounts?
00:15:57.000 They have Jew-free zones at UC Berkeley.
00:16:00.000 Don't believe me?
00:16:01.000 I'll read that article again at University of California, Berkeley.
00:16:04.000 UC Berkeley has Jewish-free zones.
00:16:08.000 It's a real thing, which, by the way, is a directly out of the 1930s, which was Juden-free, meaning no Jews allowed.
00:16:15.000 UC Berkeley says here: Times of Israel, Berkeley develops Jewish-free zones.
00:16:21.000 Universities have areas where Jewish students are not allowed.
00:16:26.000 Why are they allowed to bank?
00:16:29.000 No outrage for UC Berkeley because they're obviously very loyal to the left, but what is the real problem with Kanye West?
00:16:35.000 No, no, no.
00:16:35.000 The real problem with Kanye West is he's starting to get black people to think freely and no longer be part of the Democrat Party.
00:16:41.000 That's why they have to punish him.
00:16:42.000 It's not because he said something wacky or something outlandish or something reprehensible, of which any of those things are potentially, you know, in the realm there.
00:16:51.000 No, no, no.
00:16:52.000 The question is, why do they hate Kanye West so much?
00:16:55.000 They hate him because he brings people to the Lord.
00:16:57.000 He's an outspoken Christian.
00:16:58.000 He's creative.
00:16:58.000 He's a multi-billionaire.
00:17:00.000 He has a very loyal following.
00:17:02.000 And they know that if Kanye West is able to continue to speak against the Democrat Party and calls abortion a genocide on the black community, it's a threat to the regime.
00:17:11.000 That's why they have to debank Kanye West.
00:17:13.000 Again, very similar to Alex Jones story.
00:17:15.000 You do not have to like what Kanye said.
00:17:17.000 You don't have to like what Alex Jones says.
00:17:19.000 A lot of things Alex Jones says I don't like.
00:17:20.000 I disagree with.
00:17:21.000 A lot of things Kanye says that I certainly disagree with.
00:17:23.000 Not the point.
00:17:24.000 Should you be able to bank?
00:17:25.000 Yeah.
00:17:26.000 Speak freely?
00:17:26.000 I hope so.
00:17:28.000 You can't remain silent just because somebody says something you don't like.
00:17:31.000 The question is: do your rights evaporate and disappear to be able to bank, to be able to have private property, just because all of a sudden you're a threat to the regime?
00:17:41.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:17:43.000 The southern border is wide open, and we have to tell the world about it.
00:17:47.000 Our team at Turning Point USA has been working over the last year to have a one-of-a-kind documentary all about the drugs, the guns, the crime, the criminals that are flowing across the southern border.
00:17:57.000 Our team at Turning Point USA has been working so hard on this through amazing frontline footage that shows the border patrol agents, shows people crossing the border, the illegal drug trade, the economic and societal fallout that illegal immigration has on the United States.
00:18:12.000 Every single state is a border state.
00:18:15.000 And we here being headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, want the rest of the country, want you all across America to see what we are living through in Arizona.
00:18:23.000 It's a one-of-a-kind docuseries available exclusively on salemnow.com.
00:18:28.000 That is salemnow.com.
00:18:30.000 You guys will see the poorest southern border wide open and what we can do to solve it.
00:18:35.000 If you want to learn about the border, this is your opportunity.
00:18:38.000 Brought to you by Turning PointUSA, available at salemnow.com.
00:18:44.000 Joining me now is one of my favorite guests and a fellow Chicagoan as we share our lament of the downfall of a once great American city.
00:18:51.000 That's not why he's here today to talk about, but we always got to start with the Chicago update.
00:18:55.000 It is Steve Moore.
00:18:56.000 Steve, welcome back to the program.
00:18:58.000 Steve, every time you come back on the show, another amazing business has left Chicago.
00:19:03.000 Now it's Tyson Foods.
00:19:05.000 Steve, tell us the latest.
00:19:06.000 Chicago, I think you still live there.
00:19:08.000 You traveled through there.
00:19:09.000 Has Chicago finally hit rock bottom?
00:19:12.000 Hey, Charlie, great to be with you.
00:19:14.000 It is just heartbreaking to me as somebody who grew up in Chicagoland and still believes that Chicago is one of the great cities in the world, although I don't think it certainly was when I was growing up.
00:19:26.000 I'm not so sure you could say that today, given the out of control, the inflation is, I mean, the taxes are so high in Chicago now.
00:19:36.000 The schools are horrific, corrupt leadership.
00:19:40.000 And a lot of the business leaders who I've talked to who've moved out of Chicago, Charlie, they're telling me they could even, they could put up with all of that, but what they can't put up with is the danger that they face and their employees face having a business located in Chicago with the shootings, with the muggings, with the crime that is so rampant.
00:20:04.000 And so you're right.
00:20:05.000 This is about the fifth.
00:20:06.000 I mean, look, Sears is out of Chicago now.
00:20:08.000 Citadel is out of Chicago now.
00:20:10.000 Boeing moved out of Chicago.
00:20:12.000 Tyson's food.
00:20:13.000 And by the way, Tyson's food moved to Arkansas.
00:20:15.000 I mean, my goodness, how bad can it be in Chicago when you're moving out of Chicago, moving to Arkansas?
00:20:21.000 I'm just sort of saying that tongue-in-cheek, but it is so sad to see even the Chicago Bears are moving out of Chicago.
00:20:28.000 Did you see that?
00:20:29.000 Yeah, that's right.
00:20:31.000 They're moving to Arlington Heights.
00:20:32.000 The Chicago Bears can't even stay at Soldier Field.
00:20:35.000 I mean, look, it's just 565 murders this year.
00:20:38.000 Lori Lightfoot is just, she's just continuing the destruction here.
00:20:42.000 And, Steve, I don't want to dwell too much on this, but something that I can't quite get clarity on is: is there zero self-awareness amongst Chicago Democrats?
00:20:51.000 I mean, they have to have some sort of memory of the beautiful city of Chicago of what it once was, which was a world-class city, a safe place, hardworking people, great sports, you know, really amazing businesses.
00:21:03.000 Is it they don't care or they're so prideful and all they care about political power?
00:21:07.000 What's your diagnosis on that, Steve?
00:21:09.000 Well, the interesting thing is that I'm older than you are, but you know, when I was growing up, it was the boss, it was Mayor Daly who ran that city.
00:21:16.000 And he was a Democrat, but he was an old-fashioned Democrat.
00:21:19.000 I mean, was there some corruption?
00:21:21.000 Yeah.
00:21:22.000 Were there payoffs to people?
00:21:23.000 Yeah.
00:21:24.000 But it was called the city that worked.
00:21:26.000 So they got rid of the crime and they made Chicago a place where you could do business.
00:21:31.000 I mean, today, the Democrats like Lightfoot are just too incompetent to be able to run anything.
00:21:38.000 You know, they don't have any business experience and they don't know how to, they're so driven by a left-wing ideology that they can't make this city a place where people want to live.
00:21:48.000 And unfortunately, it's going to decline.
00:21:51.000 Incidentally, Charlie, the same thing is happening right now in San Francisco.
00:21:55.000 People are moving out of San Francisco in droves.
00:21:58.000 It's the same thing that's happening in Los Angeles.
00:22:01.000 It's the same thing that's happening in Baltimore.
00:22:03.000 It's the same thing that's happening in New York.
00:22:06.000 I mean, our great cities, our iconic American cities, are being destroyed as liberal laboratories.
00:22:15.000 And I, you know, we're here in Texas Hill Country at an undisclosed location.
00:22:15.000 Yeah.
00:22:19.000 And I got to tell you, Steve, it's that they destroy the cities and then they want to go live in the beautiful places that conservatives built.
00:22:25.000 Yep.
00:22:25.000 And I got to tell you, I got a big problem there, right?
00:22:27.000 They said they destroyed Chicago.
00:22:28.000 They're going to go to the next to the next to the next.
00:22:30.000 I mean, Philadelphia has problems.
00:22:32.000 I mean, the solutions to these things are very simple.
00:22:35.000 They have to cut taxes so that they're competitive places for businesses to be.
00:22:39.000 They have to do what Rudu Giuliani did and get crime off of the streets.
00:22:43.000 I mean, by the way, I saw within 18 months, Rudy Giuliani fixed that city of New York and it had an incredible renaissance.
00:22:51.000 And then you've got to have school choice.
00:22:53.000 You've got to allow parents in those cities because you can't have a family if you live in Chicago or New York or Baltimore because you can't afford to send your kids to a private school and the schools are so rotten in our inner cities.
00:23:06.000 And if you did those kinds of things, I think cities could make a comeback, but not with the leadership that we have today.
00:23:12.000 Yeah, I mean, just the most simple thing that could be done is reduce the crime.
00:23:17.000 More police.
00:23:18.000 Don't have this.
00:23:19.000 I mean, and by the way, starting in January, again, I didn't plan to spend too much time on this, but if you guys look at what's starting in January, I have it saved on my phone.
00:23:26.000 It's called the Safety Act in Illinois, which is that if you are guilty of second-degree murder, arson, kidnapping, you can no longer be held with any sort of bail.
00:23:37.000 It gets rid of all bail.
00:23:39.000 You could second-degree murder in Illinois, you're released the next morning.
00:23:43.000 And this is what's happening in Illinois.
00:23:44.000 I mean, it's a purge.
00:23:46.000 It isn't, it's a jailbreak that's happening.
00:23:48.000 And I mean, it's really interesting.
00:23:50.000 I know where this comes from, though, and I hate to complete the point too much, but I was at the campus of University of Texas, Austin yesterday, and I act one after the other, and they said, Prisons are, we should not have prisons, got to get rid of the police.
00:24:01.000 It's all systemic racism.
00:24:03.000 People commit crimes because of the police, one after the other.
00:24:06.000 And this is where it comes from.
00:24:07.000 These idea pathogens start in the college campuses and infect the entire society.
00:24:12.000 So, Steve, you have a new article I want to talk about.
00:24:14.000 I meant to touch on it earlier, but whenever I talk about Chicago, I get rather passionate.
00:24:19.000 Seven ways America is being destroyed.
00:24:21.000 I'm really impressed you were only, you know, had to stop at seven, but tell us about it, especially energy.
00:24:28.000 One of the issues I care about most is how these ideologues and these environmentalists have destroyed America's energy independence.
00:24:36.000 It's one of the great self-inflicted wounds in the history of our nation.
00:24:39.000 Please talk about it, Steve.
00:24:41.000 So, there's kind of a funny story behind this article.
00:24:45.000 I gave a speech at a Freedom Works conference with several hundred free market conservative activists.
00:24:55.000 You do that kind of thing all the time.
00:24:57.000 And so, I really got on the stage and I didn't even kind of know what I was going to talk about.
00:25:02.000 And so, I started this kind of riff with the people.
00:25:05.000 I said, Well, because the first thing people start asking me about is, you know, is what Biden is doing, is this intentional?
00:25:11.000 Are they trying to destroy the American economy?
00:25:14.000 I don't know where you stand on that one, but you know, I get audience.
00:25:19.000 This is all this destruction of the economy is intentional.
00:25:22.000 I think 90% of the people raised their hand.
00:25:24.000 And what I said was, Well, I don't know if it's intentional.
00:25:27.000 I don't usually get into people's motives, but I said, You know, if let's assume for a minute that you did want to destroy America, what would you do?
00:25:35.000 What would your plan be?
00:25:37.000 And then I said, I kind of talked about, and this was audience participation.
00:25:40.000 A lot of the people contributed ideas.
00:25:43.000 What would you do to destroy America?
00:25:45.000 And so, very quickly, number one is you'd destroy its energy supply.
00:25:49.000 Wouldn't you agree that they're doing a pretty good job of that?
00:25:52.000 Well, yeah, I mean, not only have they done a good job of it, I think it's all intentional.
00:25:56.000 I mean, they have a green energy, they have this pathological green energy agenda that is so morally morally corrupt, in my opinion, where it puts it puts human dignity and flourishing aside for some sort of far-off, abstract dream that they can't even specify to try to prevent against some sort of sky is falling clamoring of global anthropogenic climate change.
00:26:19.000 And so, you have here in this list destroying the energy supply.
00:26:22.000 I mean, if there was one thing that could create jobs, create wealth, be a tax cut for the regular American, probably end the war in Ukraine, secure American security, have American security, it's energy.
00:26:34.000 And, you know, I think conservatives have played defense on this for far too long because we're afraid of the climate change debate.
00:26:40.000 I think we got to play offense on this.
00:26:42.000 I think decent Americans understand we've been blessed by the Lord to have these unbelievable natural resource assets, and we're deciding just to give it up and allow the worst actors of the third world to go beg Venezuela for oil.
00:26:55.000 Let me just add something to what you just said, even with respect to the environment.
00:26:59.000 Because, look, we as conservatives, we believe in clean air, we want clean water.
00:27:03.000 And so, by all we're doing under Biden, is shifting the energy production out of the United States, out of Texas and Oklahoma, North Dakota, and Alaska, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
00:27:14.000 And we're transferring that production to countries like Iran, Venezuela, Russia, you know, the Middle Eastern countries.
00:27:22.000 Now, not only are most of those countries enemies in the United States, but do you think that those countries have any environmental standards whatsoever?
00:27:30.000 So we're actually making the world more polluted, not less polluted, by shifting production outside of the United States.
00:27:37.000 Notwithstanding, you're exactly right.
00:27:39.000 We're losing hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars for America and $100,000 a year jobs here in the United States because we're not producing it.
00:27:48.000 But just very quickly, Charlie, number two, lose control of your border.
00:27:53.000 You got to agree that that's something Biden's doing.
00:27:56.000 I'm all right, Steve.
00:27:56.000 You got to explain something to me.
00:27:58.000 I don't pretend to understand this.
00:28:00.000 So I check the market before we go live and the Dow is down like 400, 500 points.
00:28:06.000 We're having breakfast.
00:28:07.000 The Dow is down 500 points.
00:28:08.000 So then I do a segment on how the economy is not doing well, assuming the market's still down.
00:28:12.000 And so then I type in Dow today and it says the Dow is up 800 points.
00:28:16.000 So that's a 1,300-point swing.
00:28:18.000 What's going on here, Steve?
00:28:20.000 Can you explain this to me?
00:28:21.000 You know, I cannot explain that because I saw the same thing.
00:28:24.000 You know, the Dow was down 600 points this morning.
00:28:26.000 So you've had, you've had about a, I don't know, 1,100 point swing in the Dow in three hours.
00:28:33.000 And so I don't have a good explanation for it, but I do have an explanation for what's happening to this country's finances.
00:28:40.000 You know, we're looking at one of the worst bear markets we've seen since the 1970s.
00:28:45.000 When you adjust for inflation, Charlie, people have lost about, especially seniors have lost about 20% of their lifetime savings when you adjust for inflation.
00:28:57.000 Because remember, inflation's run over since Biden's come into office about 12%, plus you've got about 6 or 7% nominal reductions in the stock market.
00:29:07.000 So people are getting crushed.
00:29:08.000 And I'm very, I have to say, I'm very nervous about a financial crisis.
00:29:12.000 You see this all over the world.
00:29:14.000 And the proximate cause of this, Charlie, is that since COVID hit, the developed countries of the world, the advanced countries of the world, the United States and Europe and others have spent and borrowed and printed $22 trillion.
00:29:30.000 The chickens are coming home to roost.
00:29:33.000 Yeah.
00:29:34.000 And it just, it's so self-inflicted.
00:29:36.000 There's an agenda behind this, I think, that most Americans don't quite recognize and realize.
00:29:41.000 This is the intentional destruction of the United States of America just for the for power, for a globalist experiment.
00:29:47.000 It's just unbelievable.
00:29:48.000 One of the things you mention here in your piece, and I'm reading from zerohedge.com, Steve, is you say you would weaponize government agencies by going to imprison or punish your political enemies.
00:29:57.000 Steve, they're rating political opposition and dissidents from Peter Navarro, Bannon.
00:30:03.000 They just raided another pro-life leader a couple of days ago because he was singing hymns outside of an abortion clinic.
00:30:10.000 Steve, just really quick, I mean, you've been in this business longer than I have.
00:30:13.000 Have you ever seen this kind of just blatant, unapologetic, blunt weaponization of government against political dissidents?
00:30:23.000 I haven't seen it, but you know, Charlie, I read about it when I was a kid when we learned about what was happening behind the Iron Curtain in these Stalinists.
00:30:31.000 The Gulag Archipelago.
00:30:33.000 Yeah, exactly.
00:30:34.000 Yeah, that's right.
00:30:34.000 What's that?
00:30:36.000 I saw the Gulag Archipelago in the Soviet Union.
00:30:38.000 That's right.
00:30:39.000 Yeah, this is what tyrants do.
00:30:41.000 They use the power of government to suppress and silence and shut up their enemies.
00:30:47.000 And if they have to, they will lock them up.
00:30:49.000 And that is happening now.
00:30:51.000 By the way, I don't know about you, Charlie, but you should be worried because I am.
00:30:55.000 I'm worried there's going to be a knock on my door someday at my home, and there's going to be six FBI agents that are going to want to arrest me.
00:31:02.000 Why?
00:31:03.000 Because I was a Trump guy.
00:31:04.000 Look what they did to Peter Navarro.
00:31:06.000 Look what, I mean, this is really an abuse of power.
00:31:09.000 Where are the civil libertarians on the left complaining about this?
00:31:12.000 They want to put people like you and me in jail to shut us up.
00:31:16.000 And I'm not exaggerating here.
00:31:18.000 This may be the worst thing of all, what they're doing in terms of the suppressing of our rights.
00:31:24.000 It's not enough for them to try to muzzle us so that we can't speak, but they don't want us around.
00:31:30.000 They want us locked up.
00:31:31.000 And that's what they've done too many people.
00:31:33.000 And it's time to have some kind of revolt against that.
00:31:38.000 It's the great threat here that people are not nearly focusing on enough.
00:31:42.000 And where are these honest liberals?
00:31:44.000 They're okay with the FBI showing up with 30 agents with guns on a weekend to a father of 11 because he sung a hymn outside of an abortion clinic.
00:31:53.000 Meanwhile, you burn down entire cities and no one gets arrested.
00:31:57.000 No one gets held accountable.
00:31:58.000 You burn down Wendy's.
00:32:01.000 It's a very dangerous thing.
00:32:02.000 Steve, thank you so much.
00:32:03.000 Great commentary as always.
00:32:04.000 God bless you.
00:32:04.000 Thank you.
00:32:05.000 Thanks, Charlie.
00:32:06.000 Have a great weekend.
00:32:08.000 Appreciate it.
