00:00:00.000Hey everybody, Blake Masters joins us running for Senate in Arizona.
00:00:03.000My choice and Turning Point Action's choice.
00:00:05.000If you live in Arizona, make sure you vote for Blake and get your friends to do the same.
00:00:09.000Email me your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:00:11.000We talk about the new conservative movement and also walk through with Blake Masters as he begins to ramp up in his fight against Mark Kelly.
00:00:18.000Very instructive episode if you want to see the future of the Republican Party.
00:00:22.000As always, you can email me your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:00:42.000He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:00:48.000We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:02:01.000And so, but you're coming up against Mark Kelly, who is super well funded.
00:02:06.000Now, Blake, do you feel as if some Republicans have an attitude that a red wave is inevitable and that we have a lot more work than I think they're willing to admit?
00:02:15.000That there might be a complacency spirit.
00:02:25.000But paradoxically, you can't take that for granted.
00:02:29.000Because if you think there's going to be a red wave, well, maybe you'll sit on the couch and you won't do the hard work that we need to manufacture that red wave.
00:03:48.000So I'm pushing for solutions today, even if it means taking on my own party.
00:03:53.000Like bringing down gas prices by allowing more domestic oil production, temporarily ending the gas tax, and cutting red tape to restock shells faster.
00:04:02.000I'm Mark Kelly, and I prove this message because I'll do whatever it takes to lower costs now.
00:04:17.000He'll do whatever it takes to lower costs for Arizona families.
00:04:20.000Dude, you've been in office for almost two years.
00:04:23.000And all he's done is vote almost in lockstep, literally, like 97, 98% in lockstep with the Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, pro-inflation, open borders agenda.
00:04:31.000Like, he's voted for all the trillions and piece of spending has been.
00:07:14.000And so I think the recession, and it is a recession, even if the Democrats try to redefine it, the recession, this economic downturn, all of the chaos and pain that Biden is delivering, I think that does disproportionately hurt people who might like to support Blake Masters.
00:07:28.000And so I have to go toe-to-toe fundraising with Mark Kelly.
00:07:32.000He says he doesn't take corporate PAC dollars.
00:09:25.000So corporate PACs have all this money in support of Mark Kelly.
00:09:28.000But it's the third category that Mark Kelly doesn't tell you about, which is the 501c4s.
00:09:33.000And these advertisements are different, and you've probably seen them before, which is Mark Kelly is the most beautiful person who can walk on water.
00:09:40.000He circulated the moon, cured cancer, and he also is an identical twin, which is actually bizarrely true.
00:09:48.000And therefore, call Mark Kelly with this phone number on the bottom of your screen and tell him how beautiful he is.
00:09:55.000That is considered a social welfare lobbying ad that a 501c4 can get unlimited amount of money that is not disclosed and corporations donate to it.
00:10:05.000So Mark Kelly has these wink and nod favors of tens of millions of dark money that comes in in favor of him.
00:10:14.000I'm telling you, if he flips the seat against Mark Kelly, it'll be one of the most amazing flips in American politics in the last couple decades.
00:10:24.000Look, we talk about current events a lot on this show, but there's other things that are in life that are bigger than current events, bigger things.
00:10:30.000We try to do some shows every so often on these things.
00:10:33.000But look, what am I talking about when I say that?
00:10:37.000Prayer and the Bible or heaven and hell.
00:10:39.000So look, the great C.S. Lewis, who's one of the most amazing minds ever to exist, was a master at addressing these questions.
00:10:48.000And that is why Hillsdale College, the great college, the only college, in my opinion, wants you to learn more about him and his writings and their newest free online course, C.S. Lewis on Christianity.
00:11:00.000And it all starts with taking a short quiz to find out how much you already know about Lewis.
00:11:06.000He wrote more than the Narnia series, by the way.
00:13:00.000And so that should literally be illegal.
00:13:02.000So anytime you see a phone number associated with a political ad, and Republicans do a little bit of this, but it's mostly Democrats.
00:13:08.000Whenever you see a phone number associated with a political advertisement, then that's 501c4 dark money, probably funded by a major corporation.
00:13:17.000So you actually, and here's how specific they are on it.
00:13:20.000It can't be more than 15 seconds of the ad can be political.
00:13:24.000So the first 14 seconds, if they want to look at Mark Kelly, look how beautiful he is.
00:15:34.000And of course, they don't have anything new in the playbook.
00:15:37.000If you have horrible economic policies and you cause a recession, you'd think that they'd want to reverse those economic policies and get out of it.
00:15:44.000No, they double down on the taxing and spending, right?
00:15:48.000They're going to raise taxes on people who are making under $400,000, by the way.
00:15:53.000And then they're just going to spend billions and billions of dollars.
00:15:56.000And somehow, that's supposed to reduce inflation.
00:15:58.000So the new bill is green energy handouts, expanding the IRS authorities and powers.
00:16:05.000Manchin said he's going to vote for it.
00:16:07.000And what I've said on this program, Blake, and this is all public, so you can take it if you want, is why don't we put the pressure on Mark Kelly now and show people, no, this is not some sort of like he's faking a moderate thing.
00:16:19.000Right now, he's the deciding vote to go spend another $500 billion.
00:21:26.000But no, it's important you see it because starting tomorrow, I believe the game is on.
00:21:29.000Who cares about all these other Republican candidates starting?
00:21:32.000As soon as you're called as the winner, which I believe you will be, God willing, people show up and they vote, which we can't take anything for granted.
00:22:11.000So you see this clip where CNN went out to the Wyoming, was it some sort of a rodeo or something?
00:22:17.000We've been talking a lot about rodeos today.
00:22:18.000So CNN goes out to a rodeo, and this poor reporter, God bless her heart, she definitely had a direction from her editor to go find Liz Cheney supporters at the rodeo.
00:22:30.000And she spent like six hours at the rodeo.
00:22:35.000And by the way, the way she covers like a Wyoming rodeo or whatever, Wyoming State Fair is as if it was kind of the best way I could, it's like National Geographic going into the wild, right?
00:22:46.000It's like, and here we are in the rodeo of Wyoming, the far and distant land where people eat deep-fried corn dogs and ride bulls and don't have air conditioning.
00:22:59.000It's like, she's like such in a distant land.
00:24:15.000This is what happens when you sell out your base, when you promise people something, and then in Washington, you deliver something else.
00:24:23.000Turns out people don't like that, right?
00:24:25.000And we have a problem in the Republican Party.
00:24:27.000The Democrats, I think they have this ghastly agenda, but you've got to give them some credit for being in lockstep, being organized, working hard, right?
00:26:13.000Well, you know, you used to be able to do it in this country, right?
00:26:16.000A couple decades ago before all this crazy inflation and globalization.
00:26:19.000You used to be able to raise a middle-class family could exist on one single median wage, maybe at a modest house and a car, and you could have a couple kids, take a vacation every year.
00:26:46.000So by the way, the new numbers haven't been updated, but in 1985, you could sustain a family of four with, I think, 36 weeks of labor a year.
00:28:14.000Here in Cheyenne, more than 1,600 miles from Washington, D.C., almost everyone we spoke with told us they believe Liz Cheney is too focused on Donald Trump and the January 6th committee and not paying enough attention to what they believe matters to the people here in Wyoming.
00:28:31.000She doesn't know what her constituents want here anymore because she's lost touch with the values of the people.
00:28:37.000I don't feel like she supports her people here in Wyoming anymore.
00:28:41.000The things that she's voting for don't really reflect what the people here in Wyoming feel.
