00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody.

00:00:06.000 Well, it really wasn't her decision.
00:00:07.000 The vaccine could kill her, and she'll explain why.

00:01:55.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:02:04.000 That's why we are here.
00:02:07.000 With the ever-increasing numbers of makes and models, it is now impossible to stock all the parts you need on a traditional chain storefront.
00:02:14.000 Why endure often pointless or seemingly intimidating questions and wait while the counterman orders the parts in your computer, snickering and mocking you, knowing that you are the latest overpriced victim when you actually have the access that he has at rockauto.com.
00:02:31.000 You guys know the jingle, all the parts you ever need, rockauto.com.
00:02:35.000 One reason to repair and maintain your car is to save money.
00:02:38.000 So rockauto.com, they're wonderful.
00:02:40.000 They love their country and they're a family business, serving auto parts customers online for over 20 years.

00:02:51.000 They have everything from engine control modules and brake parts to tail lamps, motor oil, and even new carpet.
00:02:55.000 Whether it's your classic or daily driver, get everything you need in a couple clicks delivered straight to your door.
00:03:01.000 The rockauto.com catalog is unique and remarkably easy to navigate.

00:03:11.000 Write Charlie Kirk in there.
00:03:13.000 How'd you hear about us?
00:03:14.000 That's rockauto.com.
00:03:15.000 Promo code Charlie Kirk.
00:03:16.000 Amazing selection.
00:03:17.000 Reliably low prices.
00:03:18.000 All the parts your car will ever need.
00:03:20.000 Rockauto.com.
00:03:24.000 My whole life, I was told that when Republicans take over our government, they are going to tell you what to do with your body.
00:03:36.000 In fact, it was one of the top talking points that was always used by left-wing activists when I would visit college campuses about what the reason to vote for Democrats or for liberals.
00:03:50.000 And now we see the people in charge of our corporations, our government, and even our schools pushing medicine, pushing an experimental vaccine on our children and our young people.
00:04:05.000 Now, this is a violation of the promise of America.
00:04:08.000 It's a violation of basic individual sovereignty.
00:04:12.000 And this is happening at a rapid and very concerning pace.
00:04:18.000 Now, at Turning Point USA, we have launched a program to stand up for students against mandatory vaccinations where they are being forced to take a vaccine against their will.
00:04:29.000 This was met with some mockery amongst the smug public health people saying no one's actually mandating those vaccines that doesn't exist.
00:04:38.000 And of course, that was a lie.
00:04:40.000 With us right now is a young lady who has made a decision to not get the vaccine, but it's even more complicated than that.
00:04:52.000 It's not even her decision.
00:04:53.000 It is a medical decision.
00:04:55.000 And she has to make a decision I think she already has that will cost her.
00:04:59.000 Olivia Sandor is with us right now.
00:05:01.000 Olivia, welcome to the Charlotte Curtis.
00:05:03.000 Thank you so much for having me.
00:05:04.000 I just want to compliment you on your courage because we have a country full of cowards.
00:05:12.000 Yeah.
00:05:13.000 And you are not a coward.
00:05:14.000 No.
00:05:15.000 Your parents' generation is mostly cowards, and they will obey and they will comply.
00:05:21.000 And you are not one of those people.
00:05:22.000 Introduce yourself.
00:05:24.000 You are going to go to BYU, Brigham Young University, Hawaii.
00:05:28.000 Tell us about yourself.
00:05:28.000 Yes.
00:05:30.000 So I am 18 years old.
00:05:31.000 I'm from Arizona.
00:05:32.000 And I've always had the dream to attend BYU Hawaii.
00:05:35.000 My cousins attended.
00:05:36.000 I have friends that attended.
00:05:37.000 And it was seriously my dream.
00:05:39.000 I was so excited to apply and to get in.
00:05:42.000 And I just prayed for the best.
00:05:44.000 I really relied on my faith.
00:05:45.000 And I was like, this is where I'm supposed to be.
00:05:47.000 And so I applied and took so long on my applications.
00:05:50.000 I tried my best.
00:05:51.000 And I found out that I got in.
00:05:53.000 I had never been more proud of myself.
00:05:54.000 I was so, so happy.
00:05:56.000 And then on June 16th, 2021, BYU Hawaii came out saying that they would mandate the COVID-19 vaccine.
00:06:03.000 And if you want to get vaccinated, then I don't really care.
00:06:05.000 Like, that's up to you.
00:06:06.000 That's a personal choice.
00:06:08.000 And for me, it's not something that I felt was right for my health.
00:06:12.000 So in 2019, I was diagnosed with Guillain Beret syndrome, also known as GBS, which can be caused by vaccines and a number of other viral infections, lots of different things.
00:06:24.000 But I was paralyzed from the waist down for about a month.
00:06:28.000 It was the scariest month of my life.
00:06:30.000 I was a full-time dancer at the time.
00:06:32.000 I thought my life was over.
00:06:33.000 I was walking through Costco with my parents one day.
00:06:36.000 I collapsed on the floor and I, for a month, could not walk.
00:06:39.000 It was terrifying.
00:06:40.000 Was that after you got a vaccine?
00:06:42.000 Yes.
00:06:43.000 So I got the influenza vaccine.
00:06:45.000 And do you think that was the reason that happened?
00:06:47.000 So that's what my medical providers, we were unsure because I got the influenza vaccine, got influenza, and then I was paralyzed.
00:06:54.000 So you can get GBS from having influenza or from the vaccine.
00:06:58.000 So it's a little unclear.
00:06:59.000 Do you think it was the vaccine?
00:07:01.000 Personally, yes, because I think that's why I got the blue.
00:07:05.000 So I recovered from that, which is seriously a miracle.
00:07:09.000 I relied on my faith the whole time.
00:07:11.000 I knew Heavenly Father had a plan for me.
00:07:12.000 And I said, if he doesn't want me to walk again, and if he has a plan for me not to dance, then I won't.
00:07:17.000 So when I found out BYU Hawaii was going to be doing this, I reached out to my medical providers and we decided, yes, that it was not a good idea for me to get vaccinated.
00:07:25.000 So BYU Hawaii came out saying that they would offer a medical or religious exemption and they made it seem very accessible.
00:07:33.000 So I was like, okay, great.
00:07:34.000 I'll write out my exemption form.
00:07:35.000 It'll all be fine.
00:07:37.000 Whatever.
00:07:38.000 I submit it with my doctors, my doctor's notes and everything.
00:07:41.000 And I waited a month to hear back.
00:07:44.000 And they denied me a medical exemption.
00:07:45.000 And I was shocked, to say the least.
00:07:48.000 My whole family was like, oh, no, it's fine.
00:07:50.000 Like, you're gonna get it.
00:07:50.000 You can't get vaccinated.
00:07:52.000 They're gonna let you in.
00:07:52.000 It's okay.
00:07:54.000 So it was a big letdown.
00:07:56.000 Um, I decided to appeal this with my parents.
00:07:58.000 My mom and my dad were very just not happy because their daughter had always had this dream and now it was being taken away from her for something she couldn't control.
00:08:07.000 Like, it just wasn't fair.
00:08:09.000 So, we took it to the highest authority that we could.
00:08:11.000 We got in contact with the president of BYU Hawaii and they said that they would re-review my case and get back to me as soon as they could.
00:08:19.000 And again, I was denied a medical exemption.
00:08:21.000 So, now I've decided that I'm not going to go.
00:08:24.000 But, um, about a week ago, I wrote on my Instagram to my friends and my family saying that I wouldn't be going anymore because everyone knew it was my dream.
00:08:33.000 When I got in, I cried, I was shared it with everyone.
00:08:36.000 I was so happy.
00:08:37.000 Um, so it was a really hard experience.
00:08:39.000 But then that post blew up and it became a place for people to look who are going through the same thing.
00:08:46.000 And I realized that I am not alone.
00:08:48.000 There are so many kids that have reached out to me that are like, I applaud you for reaching out and like talking about this because no one has this.
00:08:56.000 Is a legitimate scandal.
00:08:58.000 Yeah.
00:08:59.000 And where are the adults?
00:09:01.000 I mean, who is this president of BYU Hawaii?
00:09:05.000 I mean, in what perverse world do we live in?
00:09:08.000 Do we think we can steal from children?
00:09:12.000 Right.
00:09:13.000 And so I want to, there's a lot I want to ask you about.
00:09:16.000 No, for sure.
00:09:17.000 Are they mandating the vaccine for staff?
00:09:19.000 No, it's just for the students.
00:09:21.000 It's encouraged for staff, but it's not mandated.
00:09:23.000 So, so we are going to play games with our children.
00:09:26.000 But adults at higher risk don't have to get it.
00:09:26.000 Yeah.
00:09:31.000 What's their explanation for that?
00:09:32.000 I don't know.
00:09:33.000 They really, I read on their page where they had posted about it and said, oh, well, staff is highly encouraged, but it's not mandated.
00:09:39.000 But it's mandated for these kids and mandated for these people who can't get it.
00:09:43.000 We reached out.
00:09:45.000 I have a friend who runs an Instagram account about BYU Hawaii and all this going on.
00:09:49.000 And she reached out to everyone saying, if you submitted a medical exemption, please tell me if you got accepted or denied and send me what they sent you.
00:09:56.000 100% of everyone that contacted her was denied, medical or religious.
00:10:02.000 So do you have a doctor that has written on your behalf saying that if you get a vaccine, something adverse might happen?
00:10:11.000 Yeah, it could end in possible death or permanent paralysis.
00:10:14.000 This is a legitimate doctor.
00:10:16.000 Yeah.
00:10:17.000 And so if you got the vaccine, you could die.
00:10:20.000 I could die.
00:10:20.000 And it's not that 100% I would, but is that a risk that I'm willing to do?
00:10:25.000 This whole idea that you could die from COVID, therefore you must get the vaccine.
00:10:28.000 Let me get this straight.
00:10:29.000 You have to get the vaccines.
00:10:30.000 You don't die from COVID, but you might die from the vaccines you die from.
00:10:33.000 Yes, yes.
00:10:34.000 It's insane.
00:10:37.000 So not mandated for staff?
00:10:39.000 Not mandated, no.
00:10:41.000 Required for students.
00:10:43.000 Yeah.
00:10:44.000 Don't you have to pay to go to college?
00:10:46.000 Yep.
00:10:47.000 So who's the customer and who's the client?
00:10:50.000 Exactly.
00:10:52.000 It's so, it's so hard to read because it's like the divide between the student and staff right now is insane because there's these kids who are like, I don't want to get vaccinated, but I also really want to go to Hawaii.
00:11:03.000 So do I just conform to this like vaccine and just get it anyway, even though I don't feel comfortable with it?
00:11:10.000 And they are.
00:11:11.000 I know so many people who are and I can't believe it.
00:11:14.000 And then the staff is like, oh, well, we're fine.
00:11:17.000 If we don't want to get it, it's fine.
00:11:19.000 Like, how is that?
00:11:20.000 How is that fair?
00:11:21.000 These kids who are not at high risk, some of them are just getting it to get it.
00:11:26.000 I don't understand.
00:11:27.000 Like, it's this huge divide between the two, and it's just not fair.
00:11:33.000 There's a lot that comes to mind.
00:11:35.000 And I just want to re-emphasize this to compliment you for standing up.
00:11:41.000 And you said this cost you scholarship money too.
00:11:44.000 Yeah, I had almost $200,000 of scholarships from other schools that I had applied to.
00:11:50.000 And then I denied them because I was like, oh, I'm going to Hawaii.
00:11:53.000 It'll be great.
00:11:53.000 It'll be fine, whatever.
00:11:54.000 And I didn't even think about the scholarship.
00:11:56.000 BYU Hawaii had always been my dream.
00:11:58.000 I didn't have a scholarship there.
00:11:59.000 And I was like, it's okay.
00:12:01.000 I'll go anyway.
00:12:02.000 It's my dream.
00:12:04.000 And so I called all my other schools.
00:12:06.000 I was like, I'm not coming.
00:12:07.000 Whatever.
00:12:08.000 I don't need my scholarship.
00:12:09.000 And then they talk about this and announce this in the middle of June, leaving students with hardly any time to find an alternative option.
00:12:17.000 And BYU Hawaii doesn't give an alternative option.
00:12:20.000 There is no online option.
00:12:22.000 They advise you to transfer and go to Pathway or to a different campus.
00:12:26.000 And Olivia, you were a dancer.
00:12:28.000 Yeah.
00:12:29.000 You got the vaccine and you had an adverse event, which was, let me try.
00:12:35.000 I didn't get the COVID vaccine.
00:12:37.000 No, this was an influenza, which is even more scary because it's been around for a long time.
00:12:37.000 I know.
00:12:41.000 And you could, you were paralyzed.
00:12:43.000 Yeah.
00:12:44.000 It was insane.
00:12:46.000 So your body does not mesh well with vaccine.
00:12:49.000 No, my body, when I have a virus come in, I, what I believe how they explained it to me is instead of my body attacking the virus, it attacked my nerves, my nervous system.
00:12:59.000 This happens to a lot of people, by the way.
00:13:00.000 Right.
00:13:01.000 Shut down and I was paralyzed.
00:13:03.000 And they worried about it spreading to my heart.
00:13:06.000 So again, that just begs a more general question.
00:13:09.000 That how many other adverse reactions are happening to vaccines, maybe to children that we're not allowed to talk about?
00:13:15.000 That's not what we're here to speak about in particular.
00:13:18.000 Okay, so you were going to go to BYU Hawaii and talk about the cost.
00:13:22.000 $200,000 in scholarship.
00:13:25.000 So that is not to BYU Hawaii.
00:13:27.000 BYU Hawaii is something that my family and I could afford.
00:13:30.000 And I was very happy about it.
00:13:32.000 It was my dream school.
00:13:32.000 I was like, great, I'll go.
00:13:34.000 And it's amazing.
00:13:35.000 But I did give up $200,000 of scholarship to other schools.
00:13:39.000 And that was hard because when I found out that I couldn't go anymore, it was just last week.
00:13:45.000 I was like, wow, well, all that money is gone.
00:13:46.000 And I call these schools and like, oh, well, you told me that you're not admitted anymore.
00:13:50.000 So you have to re-enroll, which would put me back a few semesters.
00:13:55.000 Yes.
00:13:56.000 So basically, you were, you're now out of that $200,000.
00:14:01.000 And I work so hard in high school.
00:14:01.000 Yeah.
00:14:03.000 That's an academic scholarship that I got.
00:14:05.000 And so it was, I tried my very, very best in high school too.
00:14:10.000 That's a real cost.
00:14:11.000 Yeah.
00:14:12.000 So people are saying, well, I don't want to sacrifice for my point of view.
00:14:17.000 I'm afraid of losing my way of life.
00:14:19.000 You have.
00:14:20.000 Right.
00:14:21.000 How does that make you feel?
00:14:23.000 It's hard.
00:14:24.000 That's for sure.
00:14:25.000 But at the same time, I know that what I'm talking about is giving hope and inspiration to so many people because not many people are talking out about this.
00:14:32.000 So I'm like, it does come at a cost.
00:14:34.000 Yes, I lost all this money.
00:14:36.000 But is now this a better experience for me to be able to help other people?
00:14:41.000 So you say you've been getting a lot of emails and messages or comments from other students.
00:14:45.000 Are other students going through this as well?
00:14:47.000 So many.
00:14:48.000 I've had a lot on both sides.
00:14:50.000 I've had students from BYU Hawaii being like, you don't deserve to come here.
00:14:53.000 It's better you die than a whole population.
00:14:55.000 I'm like, okay, well, that's a little excessive.
00:14:57.000 Well, they get vaccinated.
00:14:58.000 They might virus.
00:15:00.000 Right.
00:15:00.000 I'm like, okay, all right.
00:15:01.000 I, that's fine.
00:15:03.000 But on the other end, I have just as many people telling me, I appreciate you.
00:15:07.000 And I needed to hear this.
00:15:08.000 This gave me so much hope, so much inspiration.
00:15:11.000 I truly rely on my faith in my Heavenly Father.
00:15:14.000 And that's what my whole Instagram post was.
00:15:16.000 It's like, look, I'm not going anymore.
00:15:18.000 This was my dream.
00:15:19.000 But I know he has a different plan for me.
00:15:20.000 And if you're going through the same thing, he has a different plan for you.
00:15:23.000 Do not conform.
00:15:24.000 Amen.
00:15:26.000 So what obviously the medical thing is a big thing.
00:15:29.000 You could die.
00:15:30.000 Right.
00:15:30.000 Right.
00:15:31.000 Would you would you go back if all of a sudden you got an exemption now?
00:15:35.000 So that's something I've actually thought about because I'm like, well, what if they just let me in so that I stopped talking in the media, right?
00:15:42.000 They would totally do that.
00:15:43.000 Sure, that's something they would love to do.
00:15:45.000 The second I posted my post and then it blew up, a few days later, they came out and like, oh, if you have any questions or comments or concerns, please email us directly, trying to get us all to stop talking.
00:15:56.000 They had thousands of comments, like, we're not going to shut up.
00:15:58.000 We're not going to stop talking.
00:16:00.000 Yes, again.
00:16:01.000 So I've thought about it.
00:16:02.000 I'm like, yes, it was my dream.
00:16:04.000 Is it my dream anymore?
00:16:05.000 I'm not sure.
00:16:06.000 Because I don't want to go for them just to let me in.
00:16:10.000 The problem is not me.
00:16:12.000 The problem is that they have mandated this for so many people.
00:16:15.000 And it's fine if people want to get vaccinated, but to mandate it and then to not offer religious or medical exemptions is not okay.
00:16:24.000 So, no, I would not go if they just let me in.
00:16:27.000 If they removed the mandate or accepted these medical exemptions, I would consider it.
00:16:31.000 But I do feel like I'd get a lot of backlash from Hawaii for going.
00:16:35.000 Of course.
00:16:39.000 As you know, my friend Mike Lindell has a passion to help everyone get the best sleep of your life.

00:17:42.000 I want to talk specifically about the school.
00:17:46.000 So BYU is a LDS Latter-day Saint school.
00:17:50.000 We have a lot of LDS that listen to our podcast, listen to our radio program.
00:17:54.000 We're broadcasting in a lot of different markets where there's very heavy LDS populations.
00:17:59.000 How does a school that is rooted in faith reconcile mandating an experimental vaccine, where most vaccines, by the way, are developed using aborted fetuses?
00:18:09.000 Wow.
00:18:10.000 Right.
00:18:10.000 Right.
00:18:11.000 How does that all work out?
00:18:12.000 Honestly, I think it's a really hard thing to talk about because the church is one thing and the school is another.
00:18:18.000 Although the church does influence the school and the school bases itself off of these morals that we have, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I'm very proud to be one.
00:18:30.000 I believe in my faith.
00:18:31.000 I know my faith.
00:18:32.000 I love my faith.
00:18:33.000 But I've had a lot of backlash being like, oh, you're bashing the church for speaking out about this, which I'm not.
00:18:38.000 If you read the post, I'm talking about my faith the whole time.
00:18:42.000 So it's hard because the church has come out and said, consult with your medical providers and decide what's best for you.
00:18:47.000 There's no mandate, no discrimination if you're not getting the vaccine, although it's encouraged if you feel that it's fine for you, right?
00:18:55.000 But the school, on the other hand, is like, nope, you have to get it.
00:18:58.000 There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
00:19:00.000 So it's hard to differentiate the two because the church is saying one thing while the school is saying the other, although the school bases itself off of these church morals.
00:19:10.000 Has the church spoke up yet?
00:19:11.000 No, they haven't.
00:19:13.000 I've had them tagged in my Instagram post.
00:19:16.000 I've had them, people commenting them, emailing them.
00:19:19.000 I haven't heard a single thing.
00:19:20.000 So for any people that are LDS listening to this on radio or podcasts, I would encourage you to write to BYU Hawaii the same way I tell Catholics to reach out to Notre Dame, the same way I would tell evangelicals to reach out to whatever mainline evangelical school that's out there if you find something that you disagree with that's in your religious belief.
00:19:40.000 So you are LDS and the kind of intersection here is very interesting because in the LDS community, I would imagine that kind of having hesitancy towards massive pharmaceutical intervention is a belief a lot of LDS families have, right?
00:19:59.000 Right.
00:20:00.000 So how do they not grant you that medical exemption then?
00:20:05.000 I don't understand.
00:20:06.000 You know, I find that my health is my responsibility and your health is your responsibility, right?
00:20:12.000 So my Heavenly Father blessed me with the gift of agency.
00:20:15.000 That was something I was born with, something I was given.
00:20:17.000 I came here and that's what I believe I have agency.
00:20:20.000 And here in America, we're given liberty and it's the freedom to choose for ourselves.
00:20:24.000 So we have our agency and our liberty and that's not anyone's to take away from me.
00:20:29.000 That is my own choice.
00:20:30.000 So for the school to say that, oh, well, I should just get a different vaccine or I should get an mRNA vaccine because I should be fine.
00:20:37.000 How are you allowed to say that?
00:20:39.000 But it's not your government taking that away.
00:20:41.000 It's your church-sponsored school.
00:20:44.000 And that's where it's hard because it's not the church, but it's a church-sponsored school.
00:20:49.000 So it's so, it's confusing.
00:20:51.000 You would think, at least I would, that of all places that would at least honor that kind of liberty would be an LDS institution.
00:21:00.000 For sure.
00:21:00.000 And you appealed directly to the president.
00:21:02.000 Directly to the president.
00:21:03.000 And they said, no, take your risk.
00:21:05.000 You might die.
00:21:06.000 Thanks for shopping.
00:21:06.000 Right.
00:21:07.000 And that was the hard part.
00:21:07.000 Yeah.
00:21:09.000 And I do believe that.
00:21:10.000 So it's not all church schools.
00:21:12.000 BYU Provo, BYU I, Idaho, and BYU Pathway.
00:21:16.000 That's not something that they've mandated, but it is in Hawaii.
00:21:19.000 And so obviously with Hawaii being the way it is, it's more of a leftist state.
00:21:25.000 And I'm sure that more people there believe that the vaccine is only going to help them, which if that's what they want to believe, fine.
00:21:32.000 But it's not that the church is mandating it on the school, but the school has decided to mandate it on itself.
00:21:38.000 So according to VARES, which is the vaccine adverse event reporting system, there have now been 9,048 deaths associated with the Chinese coronavirus vaccine.
00:21:50.000 I want to tell you about Simone Scott.
00:21:52.000 So here's a good thing.
00:21:53.000 You're still breathing.
00:21:54.000 Yeah.
00:21:54.000 You're alive.
00:21:55.000 Simone Scott isn't.
00:21:55.000 Yeah.
00:21:56.000 Let me tell you about Simone Scott.
00:21:57.000 Simone Scott underwent a heart transplant one month after getting the second dose of the Moderna vaccine.
00:22:06.000 She was perfectly healthy.
00:22:07.000 She was 19 years old at Northwestern University.
00:22:11.000 She got her second dose on May 1st and died on June 11th.
00:22:15.000 Wow.
00:22:18.000 Developed myocarditis and died.
00:22:20.000 And how old was she again?
00:22:21.000 She was 19.
00:22:22.000 Oh, wow.
00:22:23.000 A year older than me.
00:22:24.000 Wow.
00:22:24.000 Yeah.
00:22:25.000 So you're still breathing.
00:22:26.000 Yes.
00:22:27.000 But then in a weird way, it's like, no, Olivia, you must get vaccinated because you might die.
00:22:32.000 And your doctor literally says the vaccine actually is a greater risk of than you getting COVID.
00:22:40.000 Right.
00:22:41.000 COVID that has a 0.04% death rate for all the population and an immeasurable death rate for people under the age of 30.
00:22:49.000 And again, I want to re-emphasize this because people are cutting in and out and sometimes they're listening, you know, bearingly.
00:22:49.000 Right.
00:22:55.000 BYU Hawaii, you have to get it, but a professor doesn't?
00:23:00.000 Correct.
00:23:01.000 Yeah.
00:23:02.000 If it was so, if this was, is there something nefarious going on here where they want the children to get it, but they don't care if the adults do?
00:23:08.000 No idea.
00:23:11.000 Maybe there might be something else at play here.
00:23:16.000 And so what, what are your, what, I want to talk more about the kind of cultural side of this, which, so talk about the negative pressure and response you've gotten from your friends.
00:23:24.000 Have you lost friends over this stance for this opinion?
00:23:27.000 I've lost a few.
00:23:28.000 I've, my, most of my family and my friends have been nothing but kind and supportive.
00:23:32.000 They know what I went through.
00:23:33.000 And so they don't want to see me go through that again.
00:23:36.000 It was the hardest month of my life when I was paralyzed.
00:23:39.000 It was incredibly difficult.
00:23:42.000 But I've also had some people be like, Wow, do you just want attention?
00:23:45.000 Are you just doing this for attention?
00:23:47.000 And that was never the intent.
00:23:48.000 I truly posted my Instagram post to tell my family and friends that I wouldn't be going anymore, but that I knew my Heavenly Father had a different path for me and I would be okay.
00:23:56.000 But I wanted to bring light to the situation.
00:23:58.000 And then when it blew up, I was like, Wow, people need to know about this.
00:24:02.000 And I've had so many people thank me, but I also have so many people being like, You just don't understand, or I'm getting called a racist or not wanting a vaccine.
00:24:15.000 It's so, it just is confusing.
00:24:17.000 And yes, I've lost friends, but it's worth it to me because these kids don't have the ability or they're too afraid to stand up for what they truly believe and they're conforming to this vaccine.
00:24:27.000 And I don't understand how that's okay.
00:24:29.000 And I also want to make this very clear: lockdowns are coming again, and masks are coming because we don't even know the efficacy of this vaccine.
00:24:39.000 Right.
00:24:39.000 Nancy Pelosi staffer contracted COVID today.
00:24:42.000 Is that right?
00:24:44.000 I think that's right.
00:24:46.000 And the Texas Democrats left Washington, D.C. with Budweiser.
00:24:49.000 They came home with Corona.
00:24:51.000 And five of them, right?
00:24:53.000 Is that right?
00:24:53.000 Five?
00:24:55.000 Five of the Texas Democrats.
00:24:56.000 They don't have to wear masks on airplanes.
00:24:58.000 I hope and pray Nancy Pelosi has hydroxychloroquine handy.
00:25:02.000 I hope and pray she can come out and say that Ivermectin saved her life because the vaccine at this point is not going to save her life.
00:25:10.000 So Nancy Pelosi will get the best treatment in the world.
00:25:12.000 She'll probably be fine.
00:25:13.000 I don't wish death upon anyone, even our political opponents.
00:25:16.000 They wish death upon us, which is obviously how they do things.
00:25:18.000 So Nancy Pelosi has COVID and she got the vaccine.
00:25:22.000 So even if you got the vaccine, you might not be inoculated against it, but you might have the downside.
00:25:28.000 Right.
00:25:29.000 So we're seeing the, is this right?
00:25:33.000 9,759 Connor.
00:25:36.000 There's all these numbers.
00:25:37.000 This is this is the con game that's being played right now: is that no one has any agreed upon information?
00:25:42.000 So, hey, CNN, where's the ticker on the side of your on the side of your ridiculous news broadcast of adverse events due to vaccine?
00:25:51.000 How many deaths according to vaccine?
00:25:54.000 So it's 4,903 deaths according to VARES.
00:25:58.000 It's been that way forever.
00:26:00.000 It's not moving.
00:26:01.000 Yet the COVID death count on CNN was going up every single day.
00:26:07.000 It hasn't been updated since the 9th of July.
00:26:10.000 And by the way, some people think that some people think that the VARES is like one-tenth of the real number.
00:26:21.000 A certain whistleblower says it's over 50,000, right?
00:26:27.000 So Nancy Pelosi has contracted COVID-19.
00:26:30.000 Is that because Nancy Pelosi was hanging out with all those Texas Democrats?
00:26:34.000 Is that right?
00:26:35.000 Probably why.
00:26:36.000 I thought that Nancy Pelosi wears masks all the time.
00:26:39.000 I thought masks prevent this entire thing.
00:26:43.000 So Olivia, you're courageous.
00:26:46.000 Do you want more people to be courageous?
00:26:48.000 I would love for more people to be courageous.
00:26:49.000 It's hard to say.
00:26:50.000 Do you feel free because of your decision?
00:26:53.000 Talk about that.
00:26:53.000 Yes.
00:26:55.000 Well, it's not what I expected.
00:26:57.000 And this last week has been insane, but it has given me so much hope.
00:27:01.000 You're like, I know that there is a greater cause than for me to go to BYU Hawaii.
00:27:07.000 And like all these kids that are going through the same thing need to speak up about it because we are the future generation of this world and this country.
00:27:14.000 Like we need to stand up for what we believe because if not, we are all going to conform to society for the rest of our lives and no one will be able to speak up for what we truly believe to be true.
00:27:25.000 And our generation is quite honestly being used as this massive Petri dish experiment when adults are not even having to comply.
00:27:33.000 I mean, if you have a mandate, a moral mandate, a very basic one is you should not steal from future lives for your own life.
00:27:41.000 That is a very basic moral principle.
00:27:43.000 I don't care if you're secular or atheist.
00:27:45.000 There is no other moral argument against that, right?
00:27:48.000 Right.
00:27:49.000 And yet, at BYU Hawaii, they say kids must take this experimental vaccine and adults don't have to.
00:27:58.000 Have you had so BYU Hawaii has a lot of people involved?
00:28:01.000 Have there been adults or donors that have stood up and said, Olivia, I'm standing by you?
00:28:06.000 Anyone publicly that stood up and spoke out?
00:28:08.000 I've had a lot of turning point people reach out to me and say, We hear you.
00:28:11.000 We love you.
00:28:12.000 We appreciate you.
00:28:13.000 And I appreciate them.
00:28:13.000 It's great.
00:28:15.000 But no one from BYU Hawaii directly has been like, you know what?
00:28:18.000 We're going to work on this and we're going to make it better and we're going to change this.
00:28:21.000 No one at all.
00:28:22.000 Well, that doesn't shock me.
00:28:24.000 And that's not an indictment of BYU or LDS world.
00:28:27.000 That's just an indictment of Western society going on.
00:28:30.000 Where it's just kind of in every, this is the same thing at Notre Dame, by the way.
00:28:34.000 Right.
00:28:34.000 Where Notre Dame has mandated the vaccine for almost all their students and no Catholics are speaking out at all.
00:28:41.000 Like nothing, which is just shocking.
00:28:44.000 But here's what gives me hope: your story is now being heard literally across the entire country and throughout all podcasts across the country.
00:28:53.000 So, Olivia, I want to ask you this question.
00:28:55.000 Someone said that this inoculation policy is based on the state of Hawaii's requirement that students coming to the state must be inoculated.
00:29:01.000 Is that true?
00:29:02.000 No, not true at all.
00:29:04.000 Is the University of Hawaii mandating vaccines for their students?
00:29:09.000 No, the University of Hawaii has not mandated it.
00:29:13.000 And if you go to Hawaii or plan to move to Hawaii, all you need is a negative COVID test and then get COVID tested again into corner.
00:29:20.000 Because this guy says BYU is obligated to follow the state's law.
00:29:23.000 It's not state law.
00:29:24.000 It's not state law.
00:29:25.000 So then he says, Charlie, please don't denigrate BYU Hawaii on national radio without getting their explanation.
00:29:29.000 Well, I think we got their explanation from you, right?
00:29:32.000 And so I guess the other question is: so, University of Hawaii, which is the public school, is not mandating it.
00:29:40.000 No.
00:29:40.000 But the LDS private school is.
00:29:42.000 Yes.
00:29:43.000 How is that possible?
00:29:45.000 I don't know.
00:29:45.000 And it's really hard because BYU Hawaii is this great place where people from all nations come and they join together.
00:29:52.000 And so I see that they're trying to keep their communities safe.
00:29:56.000 I realize that, but that doesn't mean that mandating a vaccine is the right way to go about it.
00:30:01.000 And then not offering any exemptions, religious or medical, philosophical, you name it.
00:30:05.000 There's nothing that they have granted for any students.
00:30:08.000 And that's not fair.
00:30:09.000 That's like there's kids who worked so hard to get there and now can't go over something they can't control.
00:30:16.000 Yeah, so it's not state law.
00:30:17.000 It's not mandated.
00:30:18.000 For example, I could travel to Hawaii right now unvaccinated, which I'm not getting vaccinated.
00:30:21.000 Right.
00:30:22.000 Yes.
00:30:22.000 I just have to have a negative COVID test.
00:30:24.000 So BYU Hawaii is not, they're creating their own law.
00:30:24.000 Yeah.
00:30:27.000 Right.
00:30:28.000 They're creating their own rules.
00:30:29.000 And it's for their campus.
00:30:31.000 Just for their campus.
00:30:32.000 So the LDS school has become like this pro-vaccination portal, basically.
00:30:32.000 Yes.
00:30:38.000 I would say the school has to say as an LDS school, it's confusing because there's other LDS schools that have not done this.
00:30:44.000 Yeah, it's really, it's really confusing to me because University of Hawaii is not doing that.
00:30:48.000 Right.
00:30:49.000 Which is a public school.
00:30:50.000 You would think that they would be at least at the same pairings of that.
00:30:54.000 Well, and BYU Hawaii only has about 3,000 students.
00:30:58.000 It's a very small school compared to the University of Hawaii, which I assume is a bigger school.
00:31:03.000 It is bigger, I'm sure.
00:31:05.000 How it just doesn't make sense.
00:31:07.000 No, it doesn't.
00:31:08.000 So in closing here, how old are you?
00:31:10.000 18.
00:31:11.000 18 years old.
00:31:12.000 What do you have to say for people that just think this is going to get better and you just sit idly by?
00:31:16.000 Has this been a has this been a learning lesson for you?
00:31:19.000 It has.
00:31:20.000 It has really shown me that if I want something to happen, I need to stick up for what I believe.
00:31:26.000 As I was growing up, my dad always was the one who told me, hey, today while you're at school, be the one to change something.
00:31:32.000 Be the one to reach out to someone who's sitting alone.
00:31:34.000 And that was something I learned all growing up: that I needed to speak up for what I believed in, to defend my church, to defend what I believe.
00:31:41.000 And if anyone goes against that, that's fine.
00:31:44.000 That's their own opinion.
00:31:45.000 But I know what I know.
00:31:46.000 And so it really has shown me: like, if you want something to happen and you want a change to occur, you need to speak up about it.
00:31:54.000 I can't be the only one.
00:31:55.000 It's great that the media is starting to cover this and people are starting to talk about it, but other kids need to speak up and do the same because I know I am not alone.
00:32:04.000 I've received thousands of direct messages on Instagram of kids saying, I'm going through the same thing.
00:32:09.000 I'm scared.
00:32:10.000 I think I'm going to get vaccinated and still go, even though I don't feel comfortable.
00:32:13.000 What should I do?
00:32:15.000 They need to stick up for what they believe.
00:32:17.000 Stick up for what you believe.
00:32:19.000 Be courageous and understand there is a cost to this.
00:32:24.000 For sure.
00:32:25.000 Understand that this is going to, this is going to have to require a price.
00:32:25.000 Right?
00:32:31.000 Yeah.
00:32:31.000 And you're okay with that.
00:32:32.000 I am.
00:32:33.000 Some people are emailing me saying you can lead a massive class action lawsuit.
00:32:38.000 That's not something that I have intended.
00:32:41.000 Yeah.
00:32:41.000 Unfortunately, it puts you in this position.
00:32:43.000 And for parents out there, I just want to end with this note.
00:32:46.000 We can't keep on having people like Olivia have to uproot their entire life's plans because of this fear that, but honestly, super unfounded, that if every student at the University of Hawaii gets vaccinated, the stats show that some of them might have some adverse events and reaction.
00:33:04.000 We know how to deal with the virus.
00:33:05.000 There's ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine.
00:33:07.000 We're near herd immunity.
00:33:09.000 Did you have COVID already?
00:33:11.000 I am not sure.
00:33:12.000 I was sick for a while, about a year, like this.
00:33:15.000 You took the antibodies test.
00:33:17.000 Yeah, I haven't yet, but I never went and got tested because I just stayed home and we were in quarantine anyway.
00:33:22.000 Well, thank you for your courage.
00:33:23.000 We need thousands of more Americans to not comply, to push back, and to say, I don't care what the cost is.
00:33:30.000 I'm going to stand my ground.
00:33:32.000 And to stand up against these tyrants and these despots, not Hawaii state law.
00:33:36.000 It's being imposed by some other organization that's trying to make you less free.
00:33:41.000 And quite honestly, it could kill you.
00:33:43.000 Right.
00:33:43.000 And it's time for Americans to start to do something about this in massive numbers.
