00:00:30.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:31.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:40.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:00:49.000 That's why we are here.
00:00:52.000 Brought to you by my friends, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage, 888, 888, 1172, or AndrewandTodd.com.
00:01:03.000 Joining us now is Mike Davis from the Article 3 project.
00:01:07.000 So, Mike, I'm told you are ahead of the curve on all of this.
00:01:10.000 Walk us through it.
00:01:11.000 What is the latest and breaking news?
00:01:12.000 What do you know?
00:01:13.000 Well, I mean, we see that Soros-funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg seems like he's pretty determined to bring these political charges against President Trump and indict him on his bogus legal theory, trumped up charges on a bogus legal theory.
00:01:30.000 They, you know, I don't know if he's pausing or backing down or what, because it seems like we're hearing word that the indictment could be pushed back to next week, but you still have the Bragg's office coordinating with the Secret Service, other federal and state and local law enforcement agencies.
00:01:49.000 They have the security fence around the Manhattan courthouse.
00:01:52.000 So it looks like it's bull steam ahead for Alvin Bragg.
00:01:56.000 Mission accomplished for him politically.
00:01:58.000 He's campaigned on the fact that he wants to take out Trump.
00:02:01.000 If you look at his Twitter, both his Manhattan DA office and his personal Twitter feeds, he has penned tweets showing his Trump arrangements.
00:02:10.000 And so this is going to backfire spectacularly on the Democrats.
00:02:14.000 This is waking people up.
00:02:15.000 Well, so let me ask you, what do you mean by backfire?
00:02:17.000 I mean, because I have a ton of respect for you, Mike, but I'm not sure that's true.
00:02:21.000 I mean, the Mar-a-Lago raid didn't wake anybody up.
00:02:24.000 Well, I mean, at the Mar-a-Lago raid, Trump's poll numbers went up by 11 points.
00:02:29.000 The midterms were hardly a resounding success.
00:02:32.000 No, I understand that.
00:02:33.000 But if you look at what they're going to do is unify the Republican Party around President Trump, they're going to do the impossible, which is to I agree with that.
00:02:43.000 Yeah, in the primary.
00:02:44.000 I'm just not sure if regular people, I think, I'm not sure if it's going to have this.
00:02:47.000 And I've been waiting for the boomerang for years, what I'm getting at, right?
00:02:50.000 And I don't mean to be cynical, but I see no evidence that any of this stuff actually backfires.
00:02:55.000 It just seems as if we become less free.
00:02:57.000 I mean, Gretchen Whitmer won re-election in Michigan by eight points, and she was cruel to her people.
00:03:03.000 The news cycle just kind of moves on, it seems.
00:03:06.000 Well, I mean, I think this is waking up people.
00:03:08.000 This is the first time that I can remember in U.S. history where we've had such a political prosecution against, certainly against a former president, but where you have just blatantly politicized the justice system to take out your political enemy.
00:03:25.000 I think this is going to wake up people.
00:03:27.000 I hope so.
00:03:28.000 I hope so.
00:03:29.000 This is going to be that moment.
00:03:30.000 I mean, this is, we're seeing this.
00:03:33.000 Notice how the National Democrats are not crowing about this.
00:03:39.000 You get the crazies out there like Maxine Waters out there calling for Trump scout, but you're not seeing a lot of other Democrats doing this because I think they know that this is going to backfire.
00:03:48.000 I mean, it's like during the Kavanaugh thing.
00:03:51.000 They went too far during the Kavanaugh confirmation with their Me Too stuff.
00:03:55.000 It backfired when Republicans picked up House seats, or excuse me, when Democrats picked up House seats and won the House in 2018, Republicans took out four Senate Democrat incumbents and picked up two seats.
00:04:08.000 That was unprecedented.
00:04:09.000 That's what could happen here: people are so angry that our justice system has been politicized at every level.
00:04:17.000 It's going to wake up people.
00:04:20.000 I hope so.
00:04:20.000 I see no evidence of that.
00:04:22.000 People just kind of move on.
00:04:24.000 And the Mar-a-Laga raid didn't wake anybody up, right?
00:04:27.000 And the Democrats are really good at lying.
00:04:30.000 I mean, you have this politico piece.
00:04:32.000 They're making it seem as if he's a buy-the-book district attorney, right?
00:04:37.000 And I think it's going to be up to us to hopefully force the case.
00:04:40.000 So let me ask you.
00:04:46.000 The question I think in front of the conservative movement, and you as a great legal mind, I'd love your thoughts on this.
00:04:53.000 Is it time for us to now say the kind of neutral clause of doing law is over?
00:05:00.000 Is it time for us to start using DAs and attorneys general to start indicting people in the Democrat mafia?
00:05:06.000 Because they're not going to stop unless we stop them.
00:05:09.000 100%.
00:05:10.000 And I said this more than three years ago when I started the Article III project.
00:05:15.000 It's time for conservatives.
00:05:17.000 It's time for Republicans to take off the gloves, put on the breast knuckles, and break the Democrats' glass jaws.
00:05:24.000 Because this is always a one-way ratchet for Democrats.
00:05:27.000 They will weaponize the justice system.
00:05:30.000 They're going after Trump, Trump's top aides, his supporters, and we sit back and do nothing.
00:05:35.000 We need prosecutors and red states to start going after the Democrats.
00:05:39.000 A good place to start is, hey, did you have a riot in St. Louis by any chance?
00:05:46.000 Maybe the Republican Attorney General of Missouri, for example, should look at bringing RICO charges or some other charges at whoever's funding BLM and Antifa, maybe George Soros.
00:05:57.000 We need to stop being weak and stupid on the Republican side of the aisle, on the conservative side of the aisle.
00:06:03.000 We have to give them a healthy dose of their own medicine.
00:06:07.000 I totally agree.
00:06:07.000 And that's why I say, hey, for all the Democrats out there watching, when we start purp walking all your favorite Democrats, you're not allowed to complain.
00:06:13.000 Okay, you're done.
00:06:14.000 You've lost all rights to complain.
00:06:16.000 If you indict Donald Trump, when we finally got our act together and we get attorneys general that are not a waste of rations, and we start all of a sudden putting, you know, top-level Democrats in handcuffs and we just start going in subpoenas, you guys are done.
00:06:29.000 You have to take it.
00:06:30.000 That's the new America is who can put the most amount of political opponents in jail.
00:06:35.000 I guess that's the new contest, right?
00:06:37.000 Yeah, I mean, that's how Republics fail, but Democrats are at.
00:06:42.000 Look, Democrats only respect power, right?
00:06:47.000 And if you show weakness, they're going to run all over you.
00:06:49.000 This is what happened during the Kavanaugh confirmation.
00:06:52.000 You have to punch back.
00:06:53.000 You have to win.
00:06:54.000 They only respect power.
00:06:56.000 And Republicans are so weak that they're not willing to fight.
00:07:01.000 Particularly, Southern Republicans are the weakest of the weak.
00:07:04.000 Southern white male Republican politicians are the weakest human beings on the planet.
00:07:09.000 And so what we need to do is fight back.
00:07:12.000 Let's look at down in Georgia.
00:07:13.000 If this Fulton County DA is going to go after Trump, maybe the Georgia legislature, maybe the Georgia governor, maybe they should take away the power from these local DAs and just...
00:07:23.000 Well, Brian Kemp is not going to do that because I think Brian Kemp is enthusiastically cheering for the indictment of Donald Trump.
00:07:28.000 He is not a friend of Donald Trump at all.
00:07:31.000 And same with Rothensperger and all the people that are helping in that indictment.
00:07:34.000 And isn't that interesting, though, Mike?
00:07:35.000 How many Republicans are quietly assisting this push to criminally indict Donald Trump?
00:07:41.000 I wonder.
00:07:42.000 No, I mean, it's sickening because they are so stupid.
00:07:46.000 They don't understand that this is so much bigger than Donald Trump.
00:07:51.000 They're like the string orchestra on the Titanic as it's going down.
00:07:54.000 Do they not look at every Marxist revolution?
00:07:57.000 Do you think that they're not going to get killed in the process?
00:08:00.000 I mean, these Marxists are going to go after everyone.
00:08:04.000 They're going to go after every Republican, every conservative, and then they'll eventually eat their own.
00:08:09.000 So I think it's time for a battle plan.
00:08:12.000 So, what is the call to action here?
00:08:14.000 I think it's very simple.
00:08:15.000 If you're a DA, if you're a sheriff, if you're an attorneys general, and you're not currently investigating one of the top 30 criminal actors from Soros to any of these people, the Zuckerberg Zuckerboxes, we have to primary these people, we have to remove them.
00:08:29.000 And when I talk to these attorneys general, they're kind of really sheepish and weak, Mike.
00:08:33.000 I mean, I was just talking to another one.
00:08:34.000 I said, why don't you have any current investigations into Clinton or into Zuckerberg, who had drop boxes in your state?
00:08:42.000 Oh, no, no, we can't do that.
00:08:44.000 We can't politicize the office.
00:08:45.000 That's their answer, Mike, when I say that.
00:08:48.000 It's because they're weak and stupid.
00:08:50.000 Look, our side is so weak and stupid when it comes to this.
00:08:54.000 That we have the Democrat Party has been taken over by the Marxist left, George Soros funded prosecutors.
00:09:02.000 They are willing to earn power and use power to destroy their political enemies, Trump, Trump's top aides, Trump supporters.
00:09:10.000 We need to fight fire with fire.
00:09:11.000 We need to fight back and give them a healthy dose of their own medicine and make them stop doing what they're doing by giving them a dose of their own medicine.
00:09:19.000 What, if anything, can we do to slow down Bragg?
00:09:21.000 Jim Jordan is saying he wants to subpoena him and have him testify.
00:09:25.000 I think that's a good start.
00:09:26.000 It's at least using some power.
00:09:27.000 It's just oversight.
00:09:28.000 Is that going to do anything?
00:09:30.000 Look, I've been very critical of Jim Jordan, but I actually think he's right here.
00:09:33.000 And I want to give credit where credit's due.
00:09:35.000 So, yes, he absolutely that absolutely, because you know what?
00:09:40.000 Yes, he's a local prosecutor, a local elected prosecutor, but he doesn't get to decide who the Republican nominee is for president.
00:09:49.000 He doesn't get to decide who the president is.
00:09:51.000 And this is absolutely political presidential election interference.
00:09:55.000 And I'm glad that Jim Jordan's doing this.
00:09:57.000 I agree.
00:09:58.000 Our side is completely weak and stupid.
00:10:00.000 There's no reason why we should not.
00:10:02.000 As soon as they announced all these investigations, we should have had all the attorneys general together, say, boys, is a sad day in America.
00:10:10.000 But we fight fire with fire around here, and America's worth preserving.
00:10:14.000 Therefore, here's our current investigation into all of you that flew on Epstein's plane down with underage girls.
00:10:20.000 Zuckerboxes, funding of BLM, funding of all this stuff.
00:10:24.000 Here's 10 different things.
00:10:25.000 And the attorneys general that have jurisdiction, we're going to look into it.
00:10:29.000 And thanks for playing.
00:10:30.000 Hunter Biden laptop, hush money payments for the Clintons.
00:10:34.000 Here's the top 10 things that we know.
00:10:36.000 And every attorney general that has signs on to it, we are going to have investigations in every corner until you back off.
00:10:43.000 You guys back off.
00:10:44.000 You guys drop the charges against Bannon.
00:10:46.000 You guys drop the charges against Trump or the looming indictment.
00:10:49.000 You drop all this, then fine.
00:10:50.000 We'll back off because I want to live in the country where we used to not do this stuff.
00:10:54.000 Mutually assured destruction.
00:10:55.000 We have nuclear weapons too, Democrats.
00:10:58.000 And so it looks like the grand jury is meeting tomorrow, Mike, and they're debating this.
00:11:03.000 Do you think there's any development?
00:11:04.000 Do you think they might blink?
00:11:04.000 They might back off, or you think they're going for it?
00:11:06.000 Do you?
00:11:06.000 I mean, you've been through a lot of these before.
00:11:08.000 What do you think?
00:11:09.000 It's so easy for a prosecutor to get an indictment.
00:11:12.000 You can indict a ham sandwich, as people say.
00:11:14.000 So I think that they are absolutely going to indict Trump on these bogus charges, trumped up charges.
00:11:21.000 And, you know, like we talked about, Charlie, this is so bad for our country, but we cannot unilaterally disarm our Republican prosecutors around the country need to fight fire with fire.
00:11:37.000 I don't, I am so tired of the Democrats, you know, going after Republicans and the Republicans win power and say, you know, we're going to reset.
00:11:46.000 We're going to get back to the old normal.
00:11:48.000 There is not an old normal.
00:11:49.000 We're not dealing with sane people.
00:11:51.000 We're dealing with the Marxist left, and they're going to constantly keep doing this until I think.
00:11:56.000 And I'm glad to hear you say that because I think that's the only fear with constantly saying there'll be a boomerang and backfire because I think it's an excuse for an action, not for you, but some people.
00:12:04.000 I mean, I was talking to somebody recently.
00:12:06.000 They said, well, this is going to backfire.
00:12:07.000 We can't be as bad as them.
00:12:09.000 It's okay if they indict Trump and they do all.
00:12:11.000 It's not okay.
00:12:12.000 It's bad.
00:12:13.000 But eventually we'll be able to fix it through long-term cultural change.
00:12:16.000 What you're suggesting is no, The only thing they understand is handcuffs and prison time.
00:12:21.000 And it's long past time the Democrat mafia starts to actually have to go through the same sort of punitive process that they're doing to us.
00:12:30.000 Yeah, I called it the dead chicken strategy during the Kavanaugh confirmation.
00:12:34.000 You have to, when I clerk for Justice Gorsage, Justice Thomas told us when he grew up on the farm in Georgia, when dogs killed chickens, you would wrap that dead chicken around that dog's neck.
00:12:45.000 And as it rotted around that dog's neck, that dog lost the taste for chicken.
00:12:49.000 And we need to do the same thing to Democrats, wrap those dead chickens around their necks, start indicting George Soros-funded groups, BLM, and Tifa leaders who are clearly violence, clearly committing tax evasion.
00:13:05.000 We need to stop being weak and stupid on the right.
00:13:08.000 I mean, how is it in what galaxy is it just that Hunter Biden continues to walk free and Donald Trump faces an indictment?
00:13:17.000 I mean, that right there is an insult to every Republican aging.
00:13:22.000 And I know a lot of these people and I've talked to them and I get nothing but excuses, Mike.
00:13:26.000 I get nothing but excuses from local DAs.
00:13:28.000 Meanwhile, they have Trump in Fulton County.
00:13:30.000 They got Trump here.
00:13:32.000 And I mean, it's an interesting question.
00:13:34.000 Is it because, Mike, the conservative movement is filled with so many weak, low-energy neoliberals that think we still live in the 1980s?
00:13:43.000 Yeah, they well, probably 1990s.
00:13:44.000 Let's give them some credit.
00:13:46.000 I think they're stuck in the 1990s.
00:13:48.000 White Republican men in the South and also lawyers are the weakest people on the planet, right?
00:13:54.000 They are, they are, well, I don't want to say it on your air, but they need to find their backbones and they need to start fighting back because we're going to lose our country if we don't fight back.
00:14:06.000 Why do you think that is?
00:14:07.000 I mean, I don't want to paint with too broad of a brush.
00:14:09.000 You said it, but is it kind of, is it the post-World War II German syndrome that they grew up just being told they're horrible people their whole life?
00:14:17.000 So they just kind of cower in a corner and they're constantly being apologized.
00:14:20.000 I mean, that's at least what I get when I meet with German conservatives.
00:14:23.000 They're always like afraid to be too radical because they were told that their grandfather did something really bad.
00:14:29.000 I mean, is that a fair comparison?
00:14:32.000 They are so fearful of being accused of being racist or sexist or, you know, anti-gay or whatever the issue is that they're paralyzed by this fear.
00:14:43.000 And what they need to do is say, you know what?
00:14:45.000 Democrats accuse everyone of being racist and sexist and homophobic and transphobic.
00:14:51.000 It's meaningless.
00:14:52.000 Stop caring.
00:14:53.000 Start using power.
00:14:54.000 Republicans need to do what Democrats do.
00:14:56.000 That is, when power, earn power, use power.
00:15:00.000 And use it appropriately.
00:15:02.000 And especially right now, I mean, it's just, and by the way, somebody, you know, a lot of people are emailing us.
00:15:08.000 They're saying, well, Charlie, why is it that we haven't done this?
00:15:13.000 And they're weak and they're stupid and they're also very self-interested, but it has to be a demand from voters.
00:15:18.000 And I hate to say it, but we're going to have to have Alvin Bragg's running for office where they say, elect me and I'll go investigate Hillary Clinton.
00:15:25.000 I mean, these are going to have to start being promises now.
00:15:25.000 Elect me.
00:15:28.000 Unfortunately and tragically, if they do this, perp walks are coming.
00:15:32.000 Final thoughts, Mike?
00:15:34.000 Maybe when President Trump wins back the White House in 2024, after Alvin Bragg indicts him, he can make me his acting attorney general for a few months because I can't get Senate confirmed because I'm too crazy.
00:15:46.000 I'll give Democrats a healthy dose of their own medicine if I'm the acting agent.
00:15:50.000 I'm joking, but we need people who are willing to go in there and fight.
00:15:54.000 I like the sound of that.
00:15:56.000 Use power, earn power.
00:15:57.000 That's what we need to do.
00:15:58.000 Mike, thank you so much.
00:15:59.000 Appreciate it as always.
00:16:00.000 Thank you.
00:16:01.000 Thank you.
00:16:04.000 Look, Americans have had it.
00:16:06.000 They're done supporting companies that rake in hundreds of millions of dollars, sometimes billions of dollars, while trashing the country that made their success possible.
00:16:15.000 Until recently, we had to take it, but companies like Patriot Mobile are building a whole new economy, one which embraces the values that made America the greatest nation on earth.
00:16:25.000 Look, Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
00:16:29.000 Look, they offer dependable coverage for all three major networks and they offer you a performance coverage guarantee.
00:16:35.000 If you're not happy with your coverage, you could switch to a different network for free without changing carriers.
00:16:40.000 All this, plus the knowledge that you're supporting free speech, the sanctity of life, Second Amendment, and our military first responder heroes.
00:16:48.000 Their 100% U.S.-based customer service team makes switching awfully easy.
00:16:53.000 Just go to patriotmobile.com/slash Charlie or call them today at 878-PAT.
00:16:58.000 Make the switch.

00:17:24.000 Joining us now is Rich Barris, big data polls, people's pundit.
00:17:28.000 Rich, welcome back to the program.
00:17:29.000 We had you on the show a lot during the midterms.
00:17:31.000 It's been a while.
00:17:32.000 How you doing?
00:17:33.000 Living the dream, Charlie.
00:17:35.000 How you doing, brother?
00:17:35.000 I'm doing great.
00:17:36.000 Thanks for having me.
00:17:37.000 So, I want to, I got, I got several questions to ask.
00:17:39.000 I also want to ask about your comments you made yesterday about Ron DeSantis, but I'm just pushing back a little bit on this talking point I keep hearing from people that a Trump arrest is going to lead to a backlash.
00:17:52.000 I see no evidence of that.
00:17:53.000 I hope that's the case.
00:17:55.000 I've now lived through many of these promises of boomerangs, and they don't seem to materialize.
00:18:00.000 What do you see?
00:18:01.000 You know, I think that it's a bit more complicated than that.
00:18:05.000 You know, in terms of nomination polling, you know, since a little bit before the midterm, after the midterm, and then, you know, in the couple of months that have developed since, this decline in Ron DeSantis' support is been weeks in the making, Charlie.
00:18:23.000 I'm trying to put this right, but there had been some other things that had gone on.
00:18:28.000 And I mean, we could talk specifically about them, but people started to question, you know, whether he had the right people around him, who was funding him, things like this that really started to raise people's eyebrows.
00:18:39.000 I'm talking about voters.
00:18:42.000 And then over the weekend, the silence and then Monday, you know, kind of confirming it was a very structured response, a very managed response.
00:18:53.000 That's just not.
00:18:54.000 Look, I know a lot of people out there support Ron DeSantis, and that's great.
00:18:58.000 I'm telling you what I see in the polling.
00:19:00.000 This was a confirmation of what some people were worried about.
00:19:04.000 And let's get real for a second.
00:19:05.000 This is why Ron flip-flopped on Ukraine because he saw the decline in the polling as well.
00:19:10.000 It's not just me, it's everyone.
00:19:12.000 They obviously saw it, and they felt they needed to do something about it.
00:19:16.000 And they tried to address this issue of Ukraine, which wasn't handled great either.
00:19:20.000 And at the end of the day, I think on Sunday, Charlie, it was perfect timing.
00:19:27.000 I mean, I did intentionally try to catch this because of the news of the indictment.
00:19:32.000 I think the silence led to a very bad night for Ron DeSantis in our interviews.
00:19:39.000 And it was the one time Donald Trump ever hit 60%.
00:19:43.000 He has never been as high as some of the other polls out there in the nomination polling.
00:19:47.000 He's never been as high as that, or in our polling, he's never been as high as others is what I'm really trying to say.
00:19:53.000 He ranges from a low of 43 to a high of 52.
00:19:57.000 We've never had him at 55, 58, like some of these other polls have had.
00:20:01.000 So for our polling to shoot up, you know, 10 points like that, then yeah, I think it was, you know, temporary.
00:20:10.000 Um, a temporary reaction.
00:20:12.000 He did uh, hold it for that night and then recede a little bit.
00:20:15.000 What i'm not really comes out, it's going to be big.
00:20:18.000 I meant less Trump De Santis, we'll get into that.
00:20:20.000 I meant more broadly that somehow independents are going to be swayed by the criminalization of our just our politicization of the justice system.
00:20:27.000 I, I don't see evidence of that, do you?
00:20:30.000 I think uh, even though this will probably be a made-for-tv show trial, I think eventually there'll be something else to talk about.
00:20:37.000 Charlie and people you know that are not political junkies like us, that are, that are normies.
00:20:42.000 Uh, they're going to be thinking about other things.
00:20:44.000 We've asked in the past independents, the entire electorate, you know, whether or not they expected Donald Trump to be indicted number one and number two, whether or not they thought it was legitimate or it was political persecution.
00:20:56.000 I really do think this stuff is baked in a lot of people's minds uh, that they, they didn't think that people were going to leave Donald Trump alone, that this, you know, attack legally on him was ever going to go away, and most people do see it as a political persecution.
00:21:10.000 So I just, you know, I I think again, I mean the term i'm i'm looking for here is baked in the cake.
00:21:16.000 I I I, at the end of the day, I don't know that I see it as a mass red pill event, you know, for independence I?
00:21:23.000 I just don't think that you know that will matter to Republicans.
00:21:27.000 But some of those independents are just going to look back and the answer that, the question they're going to ask themselves by the time we get there, is whether or not the country is more stable or doing better uh, than it had been doing under Donald Trump.
00:21:40.000 Did they get what they bargained for?
00:21:42.000 Um, and we are, by the way, polling general election head-to-heads right now and it's going to come out very soon.
00:21:47.000 So uh, you know he's, he's still by far the strongest candidate, and so let's kind of let's go through the DeSantis thing you said yesterday on, I think, Steve Bannon's program.
00:21:57.000 That, Steve Bannon, that you think, Steve Bannon, I'm sorry, you think that Ron DeSantis Scott, Walkered himself.
00:22:04.000 What do you mean by that?
00:22:06.000 So this was again.
00:22:08.000 If you go back and look at it, I don't think anybody can make anyone can objectively look at that video and not come to the same conclusion.
00:22:16.000 This was a very managed.
00:22:17.000 They spent 72 hours almost working on the response, and then the the quib that he threw in there like a zinger he was supposed to be and look, he's going to run for president right, so he's not running yet, but it's fair game.
00:22:31.000 Trump's taking shots at you.
00:22:32.000 You know Barnes, uh and I, as he was talking about this last night I totally agree, he's taking shots at you.
00:22:38.000 You can take shots and him back.
00:22:39.000 But if you want to explain to the Republican voter that you're serious and you understand where we are right now as a country, what we're facing, that this is a uh you know I hate to use this word, but that this is a war for the Soul of the country, uh, then you need to be more serious than this.
00:22:59.000 And he he could have, Ron DeSantis could have had a big moment yesterday, even though he waited, which he should not have.
00:23:05.000 He could have had a big moment.
00:23:06.000 That was a canned, very Scott Walker-like response.
00:23:09.000 For those who don't know what I'm talking about, second presidential debate.
00:23:12.000 Scott Walker was once considered a very strong governor, strong candidate, the dark horse, if anything.
00:23:17.000 And he killed himself 48 hours after he made that.
00:23:20.000 Mr. President, we don't need an apprentice in the White House, courtesy of George Will's wife, who he handed his campaign to, and she ran it in the ground.
00:23:27.000 Very much, by the way, the same group of people, the Paul Ryan consultant class that now surround Ron DeSantis.
00:23:34.000 So it shouldn't surprise anybody that the kind of content you're getting out of Ron DeSantis is what we saw from Scott Walker.
00:23:41.000 Republican voters recoiled from that, even though at that time they weren't sure yet, not and definitely not all of them.
00:23:48.000 We're not sure yet what to make of Donald Trump.
00:23:51.000 But what they saw with Scott Walker was that he was trying to be somebody he wasn't because he was listening to consultants and Donald Trump was being authentic, being who he was.
00:24:00.000 And what Ron DeSantis did yesterday was come out and be somebody that the voters did not think Ron DeSantis was.
00:24:08.000 Yeah.
00:24:08.000 And that authenticity issue is.
00:24:11.000 I mean, and I'll just be honest, Ron DeSantis's path towards the Republican nomination is closing quickly.
00:24:16.000 I mean, I think it's basically if the betting market should have Trump at 99%.
00:24:21.000 Do you agree?
00:24:23.000 Without a doubt, Charlie, I mean, I would love to go through some of these demographics.
00:24:27.000 I don't know how much time we have, but got a couple minutes.
00:24:29.000 Do it quick because I want to get to other candidates just for interest of garden variety, but please continue.
00:24:36.000 Anyone who wants to beat Trump in a Republican nomination has got to break his 30-plus point stronghold lead on non-college, non-college voters in the Republican primary.
00:24:46.000 They will dominate a Republican primary.
00:24:49.000 Even post-grads, Trump now leads with again in our polling.
00:24:53.000 Four-year college grads, surprisingly, are a little bit closer.
00:24:57.000 But the bottom line is DeSantis basically forfeited what base he was trying to create.
00:25:02.000 And then the younger voter, Charlie, you would love this.
00:25:06.000 I mean, the 18 to 24 Republican voter is a Trump or bust voter.
00:25:11.000 25 to 29, Trump or bust.
00:25:14.000 With 18 to 24s, Trump leads DeSantis by more than four to one.
00:25:19.000 Vivik has more support than Ron DeSantis among this age group.
00:25:23.000 These are voters Republicans have got to get out.
00:25:25.000 In the general election, Trump only trails Biden by a little over 10 with 18 to 24.
00:25:31.000 DeSantis is getting cream by 34 points, 33 points.
00:25:34.000 So this is a vote that you would have to try to wrestle away.
00:25:40.000 If it's non-college educated, where else can you look?
00:25:43.000 Seniors, right?
00:25:44.000 Ron DeSantis' strongest group, 65 to 74.
00:25:48.000 It's still not enough to make a base.
00:25:50.000 That lane is shrinking and shrinking fast, Charlie.
00:25:55.000 Yeah.
00:25:55.000 So let's, again, things can change.
00:25:58.000 So I just have a very simple question.
00:26:02.000 And I had a donor of ours who I adore, and they're so sweet.
00:26:06.000 But they asked me, they said, don't you think Nikki Haley has a shot?
00:26:09.000 I said, no.
00:26:11.000 Where is Nikki Haley, Rich?
00:26:13.000 I mean, it's been a very interesting thing to watch, right?
00:26:16.000 I mean, she was once the darling of the entire conservative movement.
00:26:20.000 And now what?
00:26:22.000 And not and nothing, by the way.
00:26:24.000 Go look at her Twitter account right now.
00:26:26.000 Go to her press office.
00:26:27.000 What are they talking about?
00:26:28.000 They're talking about, they're hitting Ron DeSantis over him saying it's a territorial dispute in Ukraine.
00:26:33.000 She hasn't made a peep.
00:26:36.000 And by the way, you got to give it to Vivek, who was smart.
00:26:39.000 He knew that she is taking a lane all of her own, but he knew that Ron DeSantis was trying to walk a tightrope, you know, doing this tightrope act where, you know, I kind of want Trump to be damaged politically by these indictments.
00:26:52.000 That is the pitch he's been making to donors.
00:26:55.000 I'm just going to say that out loud because it's true, but he can't let the Republican voter know that.
00:27:00.000 And Vivek is over there shaking the rope, inviting Nikki and Ron to come and have a press conference with him.
00:27:06.000 And Ron just bought it, but Nikki Haley was too busy talking about Ukraine.
00:27:12.000 I mean, she's at like six or seven percent, Charlie.
00:27:15.000 I mean, at this point, I don't know where she plans on breaking through.
00:27:20.000 There's just that party is gone.
00:27:25.000 I don't know how else to put this to people.
00:27:27.000 But what's been interesting, Rich, and I just, and I can't, I mean, you saw Mike Pence's statement on Ukraine.
00:27:32.000 What was that all about?
00:27:34.000 Why don't they adjust?
00:27:36.000 That's what I can't understand is that it's so clear the Republican Party has changed.
00:27:42.000 Why don't they change?
00:27:45.000 That's the perplexing, right?
00:27:48.000 That is the $20 million question.
00:27:51.000 I think the answer is horrible, which is that they don't care.
00:27:58.000 They don't want to change.
00:27:59.000 They don't want to understand us.
00:28:01.000 They don't want to, you know, they don't want to acknowledge what are legitimate grievances.
00:28:06.000 They don't agree with MAGA.
00:28:09.000 I don't know how else to put this.
00:28:11.000 And by the way, Charlie, they had been doing this to the conservative base of the Republican Party, you know, the conservative alternatives for years before Trump came along.
00:28:20.000 It was always, you know, your guy may win Iowa, but we're going to beat him in the rest of the nomination.
00:28:25.000 And then you just have to suck it up and hold your nose and vote for our guy.
00:28:29.000 I'm not even convinced they were ever truly conservative, let alone, you know, what the Republican Party stands for now.
00:28:36.000 They simply, the only explanation, Charlie, is they don't care.
00:28:40.000 Yeah, or there's a lifestyle they're trying to support catering to a very specific type of funding.
00:28:46.000 Oh, sure.
00:28:47.000 I really think that's part of it.
00:28:51.000 Noble Gold Investments have made it their mission to stay on top of the most important economic news.
00:28:55.000 There's literally been three bank runs in the last week.
00:28:58.000 If you do not owe gold, then I think you're making a mistake.
00:29:01.000 These are the second largest and third largest runs in history.
00:29:04.000 The government is taking steps to guarantee all deposits.
00:29:07.000 That means more money printing.
00:29:08.000 Plus, the Fed is sitting on unrealized losses of $1.2 trillion on their $8.3 trillion bond portfolio.
00:29:15.000 And the Fed will continue to raise rates, even if they tank the economy.
00:29:18.000 Do you know who are the only ones that are not afraid?
00:29:20.000 The ones that are invested in gold with Noble Gold Investments.
00:29:23.000 Gold is the most stable asset outside of any government control.
00:29:27.000 I love the people at Noble Gold, use promo code Charlie.
00:29:30.000 In fact, we just had a friend of ours that did a $100,000 gold purchase with NobleGoldInvestments.com.
00:29:35.000 And she said her experience was easy, seamless, kind, transparent, ethical, honest.
00:29:40.000 And I'm really glad to hear that.
00:29:42.000 If you want a free five-ounce America Beautiful coin with each gold or silver IRA, go to noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:29:48.000 Use promo code Charlie.
00:29:49.000 That is noblegoldinvestments.com, promo code Charlie.
00:29:52.000 Go to noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:29:53.000 I think the world of them, Colin, who runs Noble Gold, was on our show last week.
00:29:57.000 Great man, ethical.
00:29:58.000 And most people in the gold business are just not great.
00:30:01.000 Noble Gold Investments is the exception, not the rule.
00:30:03.000 They're transparent.
00:30:04.000 I use them for my gold purchases.
00:30:06.000 Go to noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:30:08.000 That is noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:30:13.000 So, Rich, are you seeing any other candidates that might announce for office that might be any sort of competitors, or is this just kind of entertainment at this point?
00:30:22.000 You know, I really think it's entertainment.
00:30:24.000 This was before a two-person race.
00:30:27.000 It really was.
00:30:28.000 I would love to see maybe what happens if Glenn Young, the word is Glenn Young sees an opportunity here.
00:30:35.000 He may, but again, I'm not sure I can see an entire coalition.
00:30:40.000 You'd have to, you know, you're talking about the prediction markets.
00:30:43.000 You would have to put the favorite, the, you know, the heavy favorite as Donald Trump right now.
00:30:47.000 It's just dominant.
00:30:50.000 There's polling we can go back and look at, Charlie, from 15 and 16.
00:30:54.000 Yeah, he's a former president now, but he didn't have this level of dominance even when it became clear that he was going to clinch the nomination.
00:31:02.000 Even polling back then, he didn't have that kind of dominance.
00:31:05.000 So it's very difficult.
00:31:07.000 Again, I'll say this for people.
00:31:10.000 We speak to people all day who don't, you know, that they're donors, they're supporters of different candidates.
00:31:16.000 Yeah, we hear it from across the board.
00:31:18.000 Yeah.
00:31:18.000 Yeah, across the board.
00:31:19.000 But they're, you know, the, the, the primary will be dominated by working Americans, average Joe's and Jills.
00:31:27.000 And Trump has an enormous lead with these people.
00:31:30.000 Anyone who wants to beat him has got to crack into that.
00:31:33.000 And, you know, even when he was falling in the 40s, it wasn't because of that.
00:31:38.000 It was, you know, because of higher educated people moving away from him.
00:31:41.000 It's a tough, it's a tough nut to crack, Charlie.
00:31:45.000 But let me ask you: what if there were several charges on him?
00:31:48.000 One in Georgia.
00:31:50.000 I mean, if he's on trial for two or three or four different things, do you think that changes the calculus at all?
00:31:56.000 I think something would need to be substantial.
00:31:59.000 You know, I really do.
00:32:01.000 Look at what this man's been through.
00:32:02.000 You know, I mean, there's been so many swings and misses with him.
00:32:05.000 People just don't believe this stuff, right?
00:32:07.000 They don't believe it, Charlie.
00:32:08.000 They don't.
00:32:08.000 We've asked them, is this credible?
00:32:10.000 Are they doing this because this is a credible investigation and Donald Trump has done something that warrants it?
00:32:16.000 Or is this simply to stop him?
00:32:18.000 And with Republicans, forget it.
00:32:20.000 It's almost universal.
00:32:21.000 No, I agree.
00:32:22.000 Donald Trump is under assault.
00:32:24.000 And then even independents who are just trying to live their lives, right?
00:32:28.000 I mean, these persuadable normies, they're just trying to live their lives.
00:32:31.000 It gets annoying.
00:32:33.000 So let me ask you, I think a couple attack vectors, though, that Trump has to be careful with is the vaccine and the people he had around him.
00:32:40.000 I think DeSantis could exploit those.
00:32:42.000 Do you agree?
00:32:44.000 I think the two biggest weaknesses that Donald Trump have is the vaccine.
00:32:48.000 Yes.
00:32:48.000 And I mean, the COVID stuff voters, we've actually asked this.
00:32:52.000 They are not buying that attack.
00:32:54.000 Like, I was a better governor and you shut down the country.
00:32:57.000 But personnel is a real attack.
00:33:00.000 Personnel is a real attack.
00:33:01.000 Personnel and vaccine are his two great attack vectors.
00:33:05.000 Without a doubt.
00:33:06.000 I couldn't agree more.
00:33:08.000 And with him, you know, I mean, staying on the, you know, what he needs to do is just, you know, and I told you so.
00:33:15.000 IBD had a great article the other day or TIP actually does their polling for IBD, Investors Business Daily.
00:33:23.000 Will a Trump Was Right kind of campaign be successful?
00:33:28.000 And they made some really good points in it.
00:33:30.000 Points I tend to agree with.
00:33:32.000 He really needs to grover Cleveland this.
00:33:34.000 And, you know, the two flanks that he has are definitely vaccine and personnel.
00:33:41.000 He needs, he's been addressing personnel with some of the, you know, some of the silent supporters, people that back him.
00:33:48.000 He needs to do that.
00:33:49.000 I would do it openly if I was him.
00:33:51.000 I really would.
00:33:52.000 The other thing he's doing that makes sense is trying to make this comparison.
00:33:57.000 Look at the difference between the DeSantis visit to Iowa and the Trump visit to Iowa and the Trump visit to Ohio.
00:34:04.000 He's being a lot more personal.
00:34:06.000 He's retailing it like he did in 2016.
00:34:08.000 And I wrote a whole piece on this.
00:34:10.000 We did a whole episode.
00:34:11.000 MAGA season two.
00:34:12.000 Go small.
00:34:13.000 Get Trump going in the random people's living rooms, right?
00:34:17.000 Have Trump show up at a little league game, right?
00:34:19.000 Just go pure retail.
00:34:21.000 McDonald's, Little League games, you know, living rooms, you know, just like out of nowhere, all of a sudden he just shows up at a VFW meeting, right?
00:34:31.000 And he just starts talking to people, right?
00:34:34.000 Charlie, that's where he was, where he always was best in the 2015-16 primary.
00:34:40.000 I remember in New Hampshire, he just popped up at the Manchester Police and the fire department heard he was over there and they were all trying to get on the trucks and race over to talk to him.
00:34:48.000 He was shaking the hands of like 15 people and then people were swarming.
00:34:52.000 You know, Trump is over there talking to the cops.
00:34:55.000 That was the best that he, you know, presented himself that whole election cycle.
00:35:01.000 In Iowa, there were farmers who were on the fence and they won over.
00:35:07.000 It plays into this larger than life.
00:35:10.000 He is at his best.
00:35:12.000 I don't think he's at his best right now at the rallies.
00:35:15.000 I think he's at his best in the small, intimate, person-to-person environments.
00:35:19.000 Rich, we're out of time.
00:35:19.000 Thanks so much.
00:35:20.000 Appreciate it.
00:35:21.000 Thank you.
