The Charlie Kirk Show - Affirmative Truths About Affirmative Action

00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, today on the Charlie Kirk show, I go viral for a tweet about affirmative action.

00:00:04.000 We defend it because we did nothing wrong.

00:00:06.000 And then we talk about the latest news out of Ukraine, 3,000 troops to Europe potentially going to Ukraine.

00:00:34.000 Buckle up, everybody.

00:00:35.000 Here we go.

00:00:36.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:38.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:00:40.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:43.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:46.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:48.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:49.000 His spirit is love of this country.

00:00:50.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.

00:00:57.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:06.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:09.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.

00:01:18.000 So apparently I'm trending.

00:01:20.000 I don't have Twitter on my phone, so I walk into our show prep.

00:01:23.000 And by the way, my day today, I had a great day so far.

00:01:26.000 I love the East Coast because our show starts at noon instead of nine.

00:01:30.000 And you know, there's not positive and negatives.

00:01:32.000 The negative is you end at three.

00:01:33.000 So your day is basically all done.

00:01:35.000 But I spent an hour and a half meeting with our Turning Point USA chapter leaders.

00:01:38.000 And if you want hope, you have got to come to a turning point event and just meet these chapter leaders.

00:01:42.000 These are 15, 16, and 17, and 18-year-old kids.

00:01:45.000 I say kids, I'm 29.

00:01:47.000 I mean, we're almost in the same cohort.

00:01:48.000 And they are courageous.

00:01:50.000 They're passionate.

00:01:50.000 They're convicted.

00:01:51.000 They're energetic.

00:01:52.000 We had 600 of our top chapter leaders right now are receiving world-class training in the room next to me.

00:01:58.000 I've spoken to them twice, once with James Lindsay.

00:02:00.000 I addressed them for an hour yesterday.

00:02:01.000 We had a crazy day yesterday.

00:02:03.000 I did seven hours of speaking yesterday, including our program together.

00:02:07.000 Met with them for a while, and it just gives me so much hope to see that there is this remnant that want to stop the cultural revolution that is swallowing America.

00:02:17.000 These students, I think, are the most important thing happening in the country right now, truly.

00:02:22.000 And so I spent some time with them, spoke to a group there, did some things with Steve Bannon.

00:02:26.000 So I come in for a show prep today, and we have 6,000 people coming tomorrow.

00:02:30.000 I'm figuring out Tucker's logistics and Megan Kelly's logistics.

00:02:33.000 And Donald Trump is coming in.

00:02:34.000 We have 155 members of the press.

00:02:36.000 We have 500 donors.

00:02:37.000 We have, I mean, it's the biggest event of the summer, right?

00:02:40.000 And I'm coming in, and Andrew says, oh, you're trending.

00:02:42.000 I said, really?

00:02:43.000 What am I trending for?

00:02:44.000 Apparently something with Snow White that we talked about, right?

00:02:47.000 Snow White and the DEI dwarves, right?

00:02:50.000 And so it's woke white is what it is now.

00:02:53.000 It's got a tweet.

00:02:54.000 But what I'm really trending for is a comment I made yesterday.

00:02:58.000 Now, mind you, Joe Biden yesterday activated 3,000 troops to go to Europe, which could only be interpreted as getting ready to send American troops into the Ukrainian-American proxy war.

00:03:09.000 There's some really big news happening.

00:03:11.000 Tucker Carlson is talking to candidates in Iowa right now.

00:03:14.000 But apparently my tweet about Snow White is going viral.

00:03:17.000 The first images of Disney's live action remake of Snow White and her DEI dwarves.

00:03:21.000 Snow White is played by a Hispanic actress, and there's only one dwarf and six full-grown adults.

00:03:26.000 Disney says it's taking time, taking the casting of the film in a new direction to avoid reinforcing stereotypes.

00:03:33.000 Disney has lost $900 million at the box office on recent films, and something tells me that figure is only going to get worse.

00:03:38.000 Snow White is set to release in March of 2024.

00:03:43.000 So what do people find offensive about that tweet?

00:03:46.000 I don't know.

00:03:46.000 But what they really found offensive, what they have really fired up, despite the fact that they are, what do they call it, race switching?

00:03:52.000 Is that the official?

00:03:54.000 There's a race swapping, right? 0.96

00:03:56.000 Because snow white must now be snow Latina. 0.99

00:04:00.000 It must now be snow Hispanic. 1.00

00:04:03.000 Really strange. 1.00

00:04:04.000 And the dwarves are no longer dwarves.

00:04:06.000 What are the stereotypes around dwarves?

00:04:08.000 Dwarves, by definition, are small, aren't they?

00:04:10.000 I don't quite understand it.

00:04:11.000 By the way, there's nothing wrong with being a dwarf.

00:04:13.000 In Lord of the Rings, the dwarves are kind of like the coolest characters in the whole thing.

00:04:16.000 Anyway, so I guess that's offensive.

00:04:19.000 And it has millions of people talking about it on Twitter.com.

00:04:24.000 So now I'm also, but what really gets people fired up is the monologue that I did yesterday, the rant about the self-admitted, let's just say, story that Katangi Brown Jackson and Michelle Obama and Sheila Jackson Lee have mentioned about affirmative action.

00:04:43.000 And they said they are only in, they only got to college because of affirmative action.

00:04:47.000 Now, affirmative action, by definition, is the lowering of standards to prioritize skin color and melanin content over the pursuit of excellence.

00:04:55.000 It is the decline of meritocracy, and you are de-emphasizing people of one race to promote people of other races.

00:05:01.000 So this is the clip in question.

00:05:03.000 It is going totally viral, and I have nothing to apologize before.

00:05:06.000 I stand by it 100%, but people are losing their minds.

00:05:08.000 In fact, one article, Mediaite.com, they call it unalloyed racism.

00:05:13.000 I mean, it's not even a term that people, could you imagine? 0.98

00:05:16.000 You're an unalloyed racist. 0.99

00:05:19.000 Okay. 1.00

00:05:21.000 You are strong as long as you don't care that they call you a racist.

00:05:27.000 They are weak if you do not care what names they call you.

00:05:31.000 Here's the clip in question, play cut 112.

00:05:36.000 In fact, you know, if we would have said three weeks ago, Blake, if we would have said that Joy Reed and Michelle Obama and Sheila Jackson Lee and Katanji Brown Jackson were affirmative action picks, we would have been called the racist.

00:05:53.000 But now they're coming out and they're saying it for us.

00:05:56.000 They're coming out and they're saying, I'm only here because of affirmative action.

00:06:00.000 Yeah, we know you do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. 0.62

00:06:07.000 You had to go steal a white person's slot to go be taken somewhat seriously. 0.97

00:06:12.000 Now you might say people are calling that racist, but hold on a second. 1.00

00:06:15.000 Katanji Brown Jackson's a moron. 1.00

00:06:18.000 She's not a smart person. 1.00

00:06:19.000 She shouldn't be taken seriously. 1.00

00:06:21.000 Evidence? 0.98

00:06:22.000 Play cut 114.

00:06:24.000 Can you provide a definition for the word woman?

00:06:29.000 Can I provide a definition? 0.91

00:06:31.000 No.

00:06:31.000 Yeah.

00:06:32.000 I can't.

00:06:34.000 You can't?

00:06:37.000 Not in this context.

00:06:39.000 I'm not a biologist. 1.00

00:06:41.000 That's a Supreme Court justice who's there because of affirmative action, proving to the world she's a moron. 1.00

00:06:47.000 Can't tell you what a woman is in a sentent hearing. 0.98

00:06:50.000 So logically, this means more qualified students academically gave up their spot. 0.99

00:06:55.000 And by the way, in full transparency, I don't know if I had the brain processing power to go take a physics course at Harvard.

00:07:01.000 I think Blake did.

00:07:02.000 He went to Dartmouth.

00:07:03.000 Other people do.

00:07:04.000 Great.

00:07:05.000 But you have to be honest about the pursuit of excellence.

00:07:07.000 I have certain talents.

00:07:08.000 One of the talents is not being able to get into an Ivy League school.

00:07:12.000 Okay.

00:07:13.000 Now they get really offended by it, even though they have admitted the following. 0.59

00:07:16.000 Joy Reed, I got into Harvard only because of affirmative action.

00:07:19.000 Sheila Jackson Lee, I rise today as a clear recipient of affirmative action.

00:07:22.000 Michelle Obama.

00:07:23.000 I wasn't supposed to go to Princeton because my high school counselor said my test scores were too low.

00:07:29.000 Michelle Obama told you she was not smart enough to be able to get into Princeton.

00:07:34.000 That was a direct quote from Michelle Obama.

00:07:37.000 Additionally, you read Michelle Obama's thesis.

00:07:40.000 It's full of typos.

00:07:41.000 It's not exactly the sumo-theological, it's not exactly a brilliant piece of philosophical accomplishment.

00:07:50.000 Okay, they might be sweet people.

00:07:52.000 They might be nice people.

00:07:52.000 They're acknowledging that affirmative action elevated them when they did not have the objective standards without their race to be prioritized.

00:08:02.000 You're not allowed to say that.

00:08:04.000 Now, as we've said before, we're living through a cultural revolution.

00:08:06.000 There's only been one cultural revolution before.

00:08:09.000 What's happening, America is less Stalinist, it's less Nazi, and it's more Maoist than anything else.

00:08:16.000 A little bit of French Revolution, but very, very Maoist.

00:08:21.000 And one of the ways they take over the country is they try to shut you up.

00:08:25.000 And that's what they're trying to do to me on social media today.

00:08:27.000 It's all going viral, racist, all this.

00:08:28.000 I don't care.

00:08:29.000 It's 100% true. 1.00

00:08:30.000 You have a Supreme Court justice that can't tell you what a woman is.

00:08:33.000 Michelle Obama openly admits that she did not have grades good enough to get in.

00:08:38.000 I will never back down from the pursuit of excellence and from meritocracy.

00:08:43.000 Meritocracy keeps this country great. 0.77

00:08:47.000 It's also condescending, by the way, to blacks who worked their butts off to get into Harvard without affirmative action. 1.00

00:08:55.000 They want a race-based society. 0.88

00:08:59.000 We want a character-based society.

00:09:02.000 That's the divide.

00:09:03.000 Character-based society or race-based society.

00:09:06.000 Christopher Hitchens, by the way, very well-known atheist.

00:09:09.000 I direct your attention to Obama's 1985 thesis at Princeton University.

00:09:13.000 Its title, rather limited in scope, given the author and the campus, is Princeton Educated Blacks in the Black Community.

00:09:19.000 To describe it as hard to read would be a mistake.

00:09:22.000 The thesis cannot be read at all in the strict sense of the verb.

00:09:25.000 This is because it wasn't written in any known language.

00:09:28.000 That's Christopher Hitchens, well-known, well-respected liberal, saying Michelle Obama's senior thesis is incoherent, Ivy League, race-based, psychobabble.

00:09:40.000 Do you know that the average American spends about 20 years in retirement?

00:09:44.000 That's a long time to live without a steady income.

00:09:46.000 And we want to make sure you enjoy every moment of it and don't outlive your money.

00:09:50.000 Retirement is about more than just investments.

00:09:53.000 It's about living your best life.

00:09:54.000 Let's not retire.

00:09:56.000 Let's pivot.

00:09:56.000 My friends at PAX Financial, who I use for my wealth management future, develop a course for the sole purpose of helping you pivot.

00:10:04.000 If you want your own free guide to pivoting into the new chapter of life with purpose, visit paxfg.com slash Charlie.

00:10:12.000 That is p-a-x-fg.com slash Charlie.

00:10:16.000 PAXFG.com slash Charlie.

00:10:21.000 I got to tell you, I really like Patrick Bett David.

00:10:23.000 He's a great American and a true American success story entrepreneur.

00:10:28.000 I've gone on his show a couple times now.

00:10:29.000 He runs a PBD podcast, Value Attainment.

00:10:32.000 Keep your eye out on that company, everybody.

00:10:34.000 That thing is going to be really successful.

00:10:37.000 He's made a ton of money.

00:10:38.000 He recently was approved to become a minority owner in the New York Yankees, first-generation American Assyrian.

00:10:44.000 It's an amazing story.

00:10:45.000 And I just love, love entrepreneurs, people that take big risks.

00:10:49.000 So I was on a show yesterday, and he hosts a great podcast.

00:10:52.000 He really does.

00:10:53.000 I host a podcast, so I know how hard it is.

00:10:55.000 And it's high energy.

00:10:56.000 It's really clear.

00:10:57.000 He lets you finish your thoughts and then also leads you towards some challenging discussion.

00:11:04.000 And so it's really performing well.

00:11:07.000 It's being seen by hundreds of thousands, hopefully millions of people.

00:11:10.000 And I want to reiterate one thing I said on the show yesterday about Governor DeSantis not attending our event.

00:11:15.000 And there's a big ABC News article out today.

00:11:17.000 Trump DeSantis jab each other over attendance at competing GOP events.

00:11:22.000 I want to just say how thankful I am that Turning Point has now really kind of become the player.

00:11:26.000 Turning point action is now the place, the convocation of grassroots activity in the conservative movement.

00:11:32.000 There really is not a place even close to have the numbers, the enthusiasm, the attention, the eyeballs.

00:11:37.000 So ABC News, they were really fair.

00:11:39.000 Would you agree, Andrew?

00:11:40.000 It was a great piece.

00:11:41.000 And I think they're coming by Isabel Murray and Lali Ibissa.

00:11:46.000 They're sending a big crew?

00:11:47.000 Great.

00:11:48.000 So I said this on Patrick Bett David's program yesterday, and he's been really generous to me.

00:11:53.000 So I just want to make you all aware of his show.

00:11:55.000 If you're not a follower of Patrick Bette David, I encourage you to become one.

00:11:58.000 He's a good American.

00:11:59.000 Play cut 111.

00:12:01.000 There's another event going on in Iowa, but they have Ron DeSantis going to his event.

00:12:06.000 But why didn't you invite the governor to your event in Florida?

00:12:10.000 No, we invited everyone.

00:12:11.000 Okay.

00:12:11.000 Yeah, just for the record.

00:12:12.000 And every single candidate got an invite.

00:12:15.000 In fact, we actively were trying to get the governor to come.

00:12:18.000 What was the reason for him?

00:12:20.000 Because it's.

00:12:20.000 He declined.

00:12:21.000 Why would he decline to a Florida event?

00:12:24.000 No, it's perplexing, Patrick.

00:12:25.000 And so it's confusing why Governor DeSantis in his home state would not attend.

00:12:31.000 He's going to be in the state, according to his public schedule in Tallahassee.

00:12:35.000 He could easily come down on Sunday, a day that Trump is not speaking.

00:12:39.000 I think it's a huge missed opportunity.

00:12:41.000 Hopefully, he fixes his error.

00:12:44.000 I don't think he's going to fix his error, unfortunately.

00:12:46.000 And so really thrilled what we've been able to create here at Turning Point Action.

00:12:50.000 And we're hearing from our leaders and people on the front lines that they wish Governor DeSantis would come.

00:12:56.000 I've said this before on the show, but I just want you to imagine: how do you beat an alpha beast like Trump?

00:13:01.000 This is what DeSantis should have done.

00:13:02.000 All the technical stuff.

00:13:03.000 Ron DeSantis should have showed up to our event and said, you know what, I'm not going to give a speech.

00:13:07.000 I'm going to take questions.

00:13:07.000 And those of you who disagree, go to the front of the line.

00:13:11.000 If you disagree, come ask me anything.

00:13:13.000 You might say, wow, Charlie, that's something.

00:13:16.000 Well, we do that every day on a college campus.

00:13:18.000 I've been doing it for six years.

00:13:20.000 You only win by fighting.

00:13:21.000 Governor DeSantis should have gone right into the MAGA base.

00:13:24.000 And you know what?

00:13:24.000 I talked to hundreds and hundreds of students.

00:13:26.000 I said, would that make you increase your support or decrease your support?

00:13:29.000 Oh, that would make me love DeSantis.

00:13:30.000 It would show that he has testosterone, a spine, other anatomy that is necessary.

00:13:37.000 And we love Governor DeSantis, what he's done in Florida.

00:13:39.000 But he is honestly running one of the worst presidential campaigns we've seen in recent history.

00:13:45.000 Look how much money he's raising.

00:13:46.000 That's great.

00:13:47.000 Money's not votes.

00:13:48.000 It's too bad.

00:13:50.000 And it's hard to change narratives and reputations once they start.

00:13:55.000 And the reputation is not good for Governor DeSantis.

00:13:58.000 Not only does he have to turn around the current narrative, but then he has to win back more votes beyond that.

00:14:04.000 Reports are now that Rupert Murdoch and Fox Empire are souring on him and trying to draft Glenn Young to go up against President Donald Trump.

00:14:15.000 Reports are that because he's not really resonating in the polls and not really drawing big crowds and all those things, top donors souring on DeSantis, start looking at Tim Scott.

00:14:23.000 I think we predicted that, didn't we, Andrew?

00:14:25.000 Almost to a T. What show was I on?

00:14:28.000 We were on some program where I said, was it Patrick Bett David?

00:14:32.000 It was some other program recently where I said they're going to start to, was it Megan Kelly?

00:14:37.000 It was something that I said it very clearly that Tim Scott is almost next man up.

00:14:41.000 Politico.com, Tim Scott is the next person.

00:14:45.000 Billionaire Ronald Lauder met with the South Carolina senator and others in the checkwriting class are showing interest.

00:14:52.000 What is Cut 108?

00:14:53.000 Oh, this is Tucker Carlson grilling Senator Tim Scott on Ukraine.

00:14:57.000 Play Cut 108.

00:14:58.000 Why not force a peace?

00:15:01.000 How would you?

00:15:03.000 Well, you could tell Ukraine, and they are a client state of the United States.

00:15:07.000 Without American backing, there's kind of no Ukraine.

00:15:10.000 We're literally paying the salaries of their bureaucrats.

00:15:14.000 We want you to sit down, as they tried to do, but were stopped by our government, and stop this war and reach a peace as one does, where both sides, you know, concede some of their interests.

00:15:26.000 Like, why wouldn't that be in our interest to do that?

00:15:28.000 I think the faster we get to peace, the better off we are.

00:15:30.000 What we don't want to do from my perspective is allow ourselves to ask for a premature peace that cannot be achieved as the alliances continue to come together.

00:15:42.000 That's neocon happy talk.

00:15:44.000 That's coded language for war forever.

00:15:46.000 Raytheon, give me money.

00:15:51.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:15:52.000 Does lack of energy, memory issues, brain fog, or other mysterious health issues cause you distress?

00:15:57.000 If so, listen up because I dealt with the same exact issues until I found Strong Cell.

00:16:01.000 Strong Cell is a liquid NADH supplement packed with highly bioavailable CoQ10, marine collagen, and tons of essential vitamins.

00:16:08.000 All these work together with NADH to improve your health at this cellular level.

00:16:12.000 There are cells in every area of your body, so if your cells are healthy, you'll be healthier.

00:16:16.000 I'm asked by a lot of nutrition companies to endorse their products, and I say no to most of them.

00:16:20.000 But once I saw what Strong Cell did for me personally, I reached out and teamed up with them.

00:16:24.000 Go to strongcell.com forward slash Charlie today and check it out for yourself.

00:16:28.000 I take it every day, and it's made a big impact on my life.

00:16:48.000 That's strongcell.com forward slash Charlie.

00:16:55.000 Okay, I want to, there's so many stories to go here.

00:16:58.000 So, yesterday, Joe Biden, this should be the number one news story in the country.

00:17:01.000 Not the fact that I mentioned that it's Snow White and the DEI dwarves.

00:17:06.000 It's Joe Biden orders 3,000 reservists to be ready for Europe deployments.

00:17:14.000 Biden approves mobilization of reserves to support UCOM.

00:17:18.000 Reservists set to deploy for Europe-NATO mission following new Biden order.

00:17:24.000 Do you support in the audience right now sending 3,000 troops to Europe, which, of course, is obviously to be used potentially to fight Russia?

00:17:34.000 I said this yesterday.

00:17:35.000 I tweeted it.

00:17:35.000 How'd that tweet to you?

00:17:36.000 Not too well, Andrew?

00:17:37.000 Not that well?

00:17:38.000 Well, I refuse to support a war against Russia.

00:17:42.000 I refuse.

00:17:44.000 I refuse to support.

00:17:45.000 First, I don't support the proxy war against Russia.

00:17:49.000 We have more in common with Russia than we would dare ever admit. 0.77

00:17:53.000 They're not a free society.

00:17:54.000 They're authoritarian.

00:17:55.000 We're increasingly not a free society, but they do have some Christian undercurrents to them. 0.97

00:18:01.000 Why do we hate them? 0.98

00:18:03.000 Do you have to go to war against every country that you hate?

00:18:07.000 Or you have to go to war against every country you don't share values with?

00:18:10.000 By what standard is that happening?

00:18:14.000 The Republican Party is largely purchased by the war machine.

00:18:20.000 The Republican Party does the bidding of Raytheon Northrop Grumman, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin.

00:18:26.000 The military has alienated the people who have long volunteered for it.

00:18:31.000 The people that largely would serve in the military, they don't like DEI.

00:18:35.000 You don't like this woke pride stuff.

00:18:37.000 They don't like the clear decay of the military standards.

00:18:40.000 And they don't like that their government seems to be waging a cultural war on its own people.

00:18:45.000 Our military doesn't inspire young people, so they sign on for benefits at most.

00:18:50.000 And there are some amazing people that still serve in our military, and they're under attack by this woke python that is squeezing them.

00:18:59.000 You know how pythons work.

00:19:00.000 It wraps all the way around and it suffocates its victim.

00:19:05.000 That is what's happening.

00:19:08.000 So the Ukraine news is incredibly disturbing, and the lack of moral clarity from any people in the leadership of the Republican Party is disappointing.

00:19:18.000 Tucker Carlson asked Senator Tim Scott, and by the way, we are live clipping Tucker Carlson's visit at Bob Vanderplatt's event in Iowa.

00:19:24.000 Bob Vanderplatz is a great American.

00:19:26.000 People are trying to say, oh, Charlie, is there competition?

00:19:28.000 No, I like Bob Vanderplant.

00:19:29.000 He said really nice stuff about us in the media, and I will too.

00:19:29.000 He's a great guy.

00:19:32.000 We've had him on the show.

00:19:32.000 He's a terrific guy.

00:19:33.000 We'll have him on again.

00:19:34.000 It just was a scheduling thing, honestly.

00:19:35.000 You know, we had our event.

00:19:36.000 He had an event, so be it.

00:19:38.000 Let's play Cut 109.

00:19:40.000 So, what's the point at which we'll know that we've achieved our goal? 0.96

00:19:43.000 I would say that the objective should be for Zelensky and Ukraine to be able to achieve victory by maintaining as much of their territory as they possibly can, and then seeing the resources that we've deployed, along with our Western alliances, achieving the peace that I believe comes when you get these two folks to sit down and have a conversation that allows them to determine where those lines will be drawn for the next hundred years. 0.91

00:20:12.000 Now, Senator Tim Scott's a really smart person. 0.92

00:20:15.000 He is.

00:20:17.000 He's earned where he's been.

00:20:19.000 That's actually a really smart, disappointing answer.

00:20:22.000 You might say, well, what do you mean?

00:20:23.000 That answer didn't make sense.

00:20:23.000 It doesn't make any sense.

00:20:25.000 It's smart because he knows what lines not to cross.

00:20:29.000 If I had a transcript of that, achieve victory by the resources of having him have as much land as possible to get them to talk to peace.

00:20:39.000 Bro, that doesn't make any sense.

00:20:42.000 But it's smart in the sense that Senator Tim Scott knows that he can't offend the permanent war machine in D.C.

00:20:49.000 So he kind of has to say things without saying it.

00:20:52.000 What does victory look like?

00:20:53.000 And honestly, to be perfectly blunt with you, Senator Tim Scott is answering the question with the question and the term.

00:21:10.000 It's called circular reasoning.

00:21:12.000 It's like when I go to a college campus and I ask an activist, what is a woman?

00:21:16.000 And they say, well, someone who identifies as a woman, no, you can't answer the question with the definition of the question.

00:21:23.000 You have to tell me what the thing is.

00:21:25.000 And so Senator Tim Scott answered, what is victory?

00:21:28.000 Well, victory is when Zelensky has victory.

00:21:31.000 Okay, what is that?

00:21:35.000 What is the latitude and longitude of a comfort where you're saying, okay, we're done?

00:21:41.000 Is it eastern Ukraine?

00:21:42.000 Is it Crimea?

00:21:48.000 Read between the lines here.

00:21:49.000 The Ukraine war is not going great.

00:21:52.000 And they're worried about things suddenly going into collapse the other way.

00:21:56.000 There's been a lot of narrative about how Russia is losing the war and it's not going their way. 1.00

00:22:02.000 There is a lot of truth to that. 0.86

00:22:03.000 Not that Russia's losing the war, not going their way.

00:22:06.000 But if you know anything about Russian military history, which our agencies will never tell you on television, if you know anything about how Russians fight wars, they proudly win wars of attrition. 0.87

00:22:19.000 They'll just throw more bodies. 0.73

00:22:20.000 They'll outlast you. 0.98

00:22:22.000 An inch a day will eventually reclaim Ukraine. 0.92

00:22:27.000 Russia has won a lot of wars by just suffering more than the enemy. 0.91

00:22:32.000 If you know anything about Russian culture, they kind of embrace suffering as the normative state. 0.96

00:22:38.000 They just are kind of really good at grinning and bearing it. 1.00

00:22:41.000 Russian culture is kind of like, life is terrible. 1.00

00:22:44.000 Onward. 1.00

00:22:48.000 Life sucks. 0.99

00:22:49.000 Onward. 1.00

00:22:52.000 Life really sucks onward. 0.92

00:22:55.000 And I'm not even saying that negatively. 0.98

00:22:58.000 That's just kind of Eastern European worldview stuff.

00:23:04.000 And so they're just going to keep on trying to push the line, and they're not going to give up.

00:23:09.000 In fact, Putin has a core remnant of resolve that he'll just keep on drafting young men from the Russian countryside.

00:23:19.000 Russia lost 24 million people in World War II.

00:23:25.000 Our tax dollars are propping up and funding the Ukrainian bureaucracy. 0.74

00:23:32.000 I could just see soon.

00:23:33.000 Senator Chris Koons gives a speech from the Senate floor.

00:23:37.000 What we need is for the Kiev government to have a diversity, equity, inclusion office.

00:23:44.000 We're going to be funding pride marches in Kiev.

00:23:48.000 And you laugh, but that is the project of American leftism, American Maoism.

00:23:55.000 Why do you think that the left is so obsessed with calling everything colonialist?

00:24:02.000 They've been studying colonization for 70 years so that they can then colonize their desired lands.

00:24:09.000 They're colonizing our own country, and they're going to try to colonize Ukraine. 0.62

00:24:14.000 Americans lost 450,000 people in World War II. 0.89

00:24:19.000 That's a big number.

00:24:20.000 Russia, 24 million people.

00:24:22.000 And that doesn't count Stalin just killing his own citizens or intentional starvation in the years prior or after.

00:24:32.000 You're dealing with a country that is pretty inoculated to widespread suffering and death.

00:24:39.000 I do not want to go to war against the country. 0.99

00:24:41.000 By the way, think about how stupid it would be for us to send troops within miles of a home country's border. 0.91

00:24:49.000 If you want Russian domestic support to go up for a war, get America more involved. 0.97

00:24:57.000 Russia suffered 10,000 people killed to win the Chechen War.

00:25:02.000 But that's more than we lost in Afghanistan.

00:25:05.000 So what does success look like?

00:25:08.000 And you know who you should feel sorry for? 1.00

00:25:10.000 You should feel sorry for all the civilians. 1.00

00:25:12.000 It's totally, the refugees, it's legit, it's terrible, it's awful. 1.00

00:25:15.000 War is the worst thing human beings do. 1.00

00:25:17.000 But you know who else I feel sorry for?

00:25:19.000 I feel sorry for the young men that are being drafted in the Ukrainian military.

00:25:24.000 We're making into a human shield for the failed project of American neoconservatism. 0.55

00:25:31.000 That's really perverse and sick.

00:25:34.000 The teenagers right now that are dying on the front lines of Ukraine against a better equipped, better trained, psychologically tougher Russian military so that Western leaders can feel good about what exactly.

00:25:49.000 Ukraine is not part of NATO.

00:25:50.000 Ukraine is not a part of the United States.

00:25:53.000 And we just had to get into a huge fight with Russia.

00:25:56.000 Why?

00:25:58.000 Because Russia has laws against gay propaganda?

00:26:01.000 Oh, maybe that's what actually is there.

00:26:03.000 Russia is too socially conservative.

00:26:06.000 Makes you think.

00:26:07.000 It can't be because Russia puts their political dissidents in jail.

00:26:13.000 We warned on this program that we are going to be sending troops to the front lines soon.

00:26:18.000 And that, I'm not, like, that's not fair to say, right?

00:26:21.000 That's not happening yet, front lines.

00:26:23.000 Okay, I want to be precise.

00:26:24.000 But he is sending them into the theater to support the effort, right?

00:26:29.000 This is exactly how we got into Vietnam.

00:26:32.000 Started with Intel, started with, we slowly escalate.

00:26:36.000 We get closer and closer.

00:26:37.000 More equipment, more bombs, more trainers, more intelligence, more people.

00:26:44.000 I do not want to, I do not want to wager the odds.

00:26:49.000 But I do want to tell you this.

00:26:51.000 There is a good chance. 0.95

00:26:55.000 There is a chance that your teenage son, if they decide to go in the military, or maybe even draft it at some point, are going to have to go try to be drafted to go kill Russians.

00:27:07.000 I won't participate in that war.

00:27:08.000 I hope you won't either.

00:27:11.000 End this conflict.

00:27:16.000 The Republican Party remains to be permanent cheerleaders for the war machine.

00:27:21.000 It's making you poorer.

00:27:22.000 It's making us lazier.

00:27:23.000 It's making us weaker.

00:27:25.000 While our own country collapses, we're worried about the front lines of eastern Ukraine. 0.97

00:27:31.000 It's disgusting. 0.99

00:27:33.000 Brainiac, Kamala Harris. 1.00

00:27:35.000 Now, she's not in her position because of affirmative action. 1.00

00:27:38.000 She's in her position because some people would say she engaged in the world's oldest profession. 0.65

00:27:43.000 Not stonemasonry.

00:27:45.000 Something else.

00:27:46.000 Play cut 80.

00:27:48.000 And I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fancy thing.

00:27:54.000 First of all, it's two letters.

00:27:55.000 It means artificial intelligence.

00:27:58.000 But ultimately, what it is, is it's about machine learning.

00:28:03.000 And so the machine is taught.

00:28:07.000 And part of the issue here is what information is going into the machine that will then determine, and we can predict then, if we think about what information is going in, what then will be produced in terms of decisions and opinions that may be made through that process.

00:28:31.000 Money!

00:28:34.000 Money!

00:28:36.000 I actually don't know who wrote the money song.

00:28:38.000 I just know the song.

00:28:41.000 Who did write that song?

00:28:43.000 Cardi B.

00:28:45.000 It's not Cardi B.

00:28:47.000 She wasn't even alive yet.

00:28:49.000 There's a Pink Floyd song called Money.

00:28:51.000 Is it Pink Floyd?

00:28:52.000 I mean, there's probably more than one song called Money.

00:28:55.000 I think it might be.

00:28:56.000 I don't know.

00:28:56.000 Money for nothing.

00:28:58.000 Kamala Harris is talking a lot lately. 1.00

00:29:02.000 It's probably a bad PR communication strategy.

00:29:06.000 You know, people say, Charlie, what happens if Joe Biden doesn't run and Camela does?

00:29:09.000 I'll be thrilled.

00:29:11.000 She's infinitely easier to beat Joe Biden.

00:29:14.000 Gavin Newsom is not easier to beat. 0.96

00:29:18.000 So Kamala Harris defines what is transportation.

00:29:22.000 This is how you know you have a rather unstable government when very basic terms cannot be defined.

00:29:31.000 Play Cut 120.

00:29:33.000 And I again want to thank the Secretary for your work.

00:29:38.000 This issue of transportation is fundamentally about just making sure that people have the ability to get where they need to go.

00:29:46.000 It's that basic.

00:29:48.000 It's that basic. 0.78

00:29:50.000 She was going to cackle.

00:29:52.000 She also said that one of the big issues with commercial airliners is they don't have accessible bathrooms. 0.75

00:29:58.000 Equity.

00:29:59.000 Bathroom equity on an airliner.

00:30:03.000 Okay.

00:30:04.000 Well, the obvious take is: why are you worrying about that?

00:30:10.000 Don't you have other things to worry about?

00:30:11.000 That's kind of the normie take.

00:30:12.000 It's true, but it's just normie.

00:30:13.000 The second one is: what do you mean they're not equitable?

00:30:15.000 Like, yeah, maybe Chris Christie has issues getting into airplane bathrooms, but, or Lizzo.

00:30:24.000 But is there something else that I'm missing about airplane accessibility?

00:30:30.000 Email us recently, freedom at charliekirk.com, if you've been on a flight recently without a bathroom.

00:30:35.000 I don't think that's even legal.

00:30:36.000 I think you have to have a lavatory, right?

00:30:39.000 They what?

00:30:41.000 No, it's about the Chris Christie, J.B. Pritzker types.

00:30:43.000 Got it.

00:30:44.000 Play cut 121.

00:30:46.000 Well, I think culture is a reflection of our moment and our time, right?

00:30:54.000 And present culture is the way we express how we're feeling about the moment.

00:31:01.000 And we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment that is a reflection of joy because it comes in the morning.

00:31:15.000 You're vice president, everybody.

00:31:17.000 If we lived in a normal country, SNL would have 30 million people watching every Saturday night.

00:31:25.000 I mean, the material writes itself.

00:31:28.000 You got Alfred E. Newman, who's like bragging about chest feeding, running your transportation department.

00:31:34.000 You have men who think they're women that are in charge of medicine.

00:31:38.000 You got a president who like collapses. 0.68

00:31:41.000 You got the monkeypox guy who's the highest paid employee.

00:31:45.000 You're not allowed to make fun of any of it, though.

00:31:47.000 You must be serious all the time.

00:31:48.000 The revolution must continue.

00:31:50.000 Do we have the bathroom clip?

00:31:54.000 Yeah, they say that serious people are in charge. 0.55

00:31:57.000 Now, Camilla Harris is Caribbean, right?

00:32:01.000 Is that the technically, politically correct term? 1.00

00:32:03.000 No, she's Indian and Jamaican. 0.98

00:32:05.000 Is that right?

00:32:07.000 So does then the regime consider her to be black?

00:32:10.000 I'm just understanding what they say.

00:32:11.000 Is that right? 0.83

00:32:13.000 Black, but not like not a descendant of slaves. 1.00

00:32:17.000 Ah. 0.96

00:32:19.000 You see, it's very hard to understand all the rules because they're secretly written.

00:32:23.000 Only the secret society is allowed to know the rules. 0.76

00:32:25.000 But when you break them, they cut your head off. 0.98

00:32:28.000 We're the only ones with the rules, but we maintain the right to bring you to the guillotine if you violate them.

00:32:33.000 So you kind of have to infer what the rules are.

00:32:35.000 Like, can we have the rules publicly listed anywhere?

00:32:38.000 No.

00:32:40.000 And then Joe Biden is just going and sniffing on young girls at the NATO summit.

00:32:44.000 Perfectly normal, stable behavior.

00:32:46.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.

00:32:47.000 Email us your thoughts as always: freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:32:50.000 Thank you so much for listening, and God bless.
