00:00:26.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:27.000 Here we go.
00:00:28.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:30.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:32.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:38.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:39.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:40.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:00:48.000 Turning point USA.
00:00:49.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:00:58.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:01.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:10.000 I've been looking for the right opportunity all week to cover this, and it's just kind of been kicking from one day to the other.
00:01:16.000 Because it's not breaking news, but it's important news.
00:01:18.000 So I said, let's just do it during the Ask Me Anything.
00:01:20.000 We have plenty of time.
00:01:21.000 We build this out every week so that I take your questions.
00:01:24.000 We have at least 200 to 300 emails or messages that I've received about Donald Trump's comments on Meet the Press regarding abortion and Donald Trump's comments with Megan Kelly about the trans issue.
00:01:37.000 And so one of the reasons I didn't consider this to be top of mind is I know Donald Trump personally.
00:01:43.000 I've endorsed him for 2024.
00:01:44.000 He's been very good to me.
00:01:46.000 And he's a pro-life guy.
00:01:47.000 In fact, he did so much pro-life stuff as president that stuff that sometimes gets intermixed with just kind of political cycle chatter doesn't overly interest me, to be perfectly honest.
00:02:00.000 I know who he is.
00:02:01.000 I know what drives him and animates him.
00:02:02.000 And I also know what he did.
00:02:05.000 And so before I play this piece of tape and meet the press and give you my reaction, I also want to remind you I'm 100% pro-life.
00:02:12.000 When I mean 100% pro-life, I mean I go to college campuses with people screaming at me saying, Charlie, what about exceptions for rape and incest?
00:02:20.000 And I make the moral argument that a life is a life.
00:02:23.000 So I'm 100% pro-life and I remain that way.
00:02:25.000 And we cannot waver on the issue at all.
00:02:28.000 I also understand that not every politician running for office is going to be as clear as I want them to be on the issue.
00:02:36.000 And then I'm going to tell you what I think President Trump said in the tape that is really upsetting people because I'm getting a lot of messages from pastors and a lot of people that are really upset about it.
00:02:46.000 And I can see that.
00:02:47.000 But I'm also going to give you my personal interactions with Trump and also, forget my own word for it.
00:02:56.000 Okay.
00:02:56.000 What did he do?
00:02:57.000 So President Trump, as president, just as a reminder before we play the piece of tape, appointed over 150 pro-life judges, including three Supreme Court justices, 43 U.S. courts of appeal judges, and 99 district court judges.
00:03:12.000 He permitted states to defund Planned Parenthood of Title 10 funding.
00:03:15.000 He stopped tax dollars funding abortions overseas.
00:03:18.000 He defunded the pro-abortion UNFPA.
00:03:22.000 He required health insurance companies to disclose of plans cover abortion, settlements and new rule regarding HHS mandate, new office for conscious protection to HHS, allowing states to defund Planned Parenthood of Medicaid funds and cut Planned Parenthood's tax funding and canceled a huge contract for taxpayer-funded experimentation with body parts of aborted babies in June.
00:03:43.000 He was also the first president to speak at the March for Life.
00:03:48.000 In fact, Roe versus Wade would never have been repealed if it wasn't for President Trump sending it back to the states.
00:03:57.000 So let's play the piece of tape here that is getting people fired up.
00:04:01.000 I think some people, not everyone, have a little bit of a memory issue, and they're forgetting that Donald Trump was the most successful pro-life president in American history.
00:04:15.000 Now, I just want to remind you, there is a difference between disagreeing on objectives and values and then also disagreeing on tactics and strategy.
00:04:24.000 Because I think people are conflating Donald Trump's value system with Donald Trump's tactics and his strategy.
00:04:32.000 Those are two different things.
00:04:34.000 Let's play Cut 138, please.
00:04:36.000 If a federal ban landed on your desk, if you were re-elected, would you sign it at 15?
00:04:43.000 Are you talking about a complete ban?
00:04:45.000 A ban at 15 weeks.
00:04:47.000 Well, people are starting to think of 15 weeks.
00:04:51.000 That seems to be a number that people are talking about right now.
00:04:54.000 Would you sign that?
00:04:55.000 I would sit down with both sides and negotiate something, and we'll end up with peace in that issue for the first time in 52 years.
00:05:04.000 I'm not going to say I would or I wouldn't.
00:05:06.000 I mean, DeSanctus is willing to sign a five-week and six-week ban.
00:05:10.000 Did you support that?
00:05:11.000 I think what he did is a terrible thing and a terrible mistake.
00:05:14.000 Okay.
00:05:15.000 But now, does he mean it's terrible morally, or did he mean that it might be terrible politically?
00:05:21.000 Those are two different things.
00:05:24.000 Because President Trump might be saying that it's an unpopular thing.
00:05:29.000 It's kind of, there's some purposefully, there's some vagueness there.
00:05:36.000 So let's take a step back.
00:05:37.000 What is President Trump saying?
00:05:39.000 He's saying, I will try to get people in the room and strike a deal.
00:05:44.000 Remember, Donald Trump looks at himself as the guy that can go after the most impossible deals.
00:05:50.000 Israel and Saudi Arabia and the UAE and trying to get people that otherwise hate each other in the room.
00:05:57.000 North Korea and trying to ease tensions.
00:06:00.000 He has a track record of trying to make impossible deals happen.
00:06:04.000 Now, understand, my moral perspective is there is no deal if you want to kill babies.
00:06:10.000 That's me.
00:06:11.000 And that's the way the pro-life movement feels.
00:06:13.000 But I'm here just trying to offer some context to a man who has not said, because words don't mean anything to me, but proven to be pro-life.
00:06:23.000 That's why when I see interviews like this, I kind of say, look, show me the money, man.
00:06:29.000 Jerry Maguire, show me the goods.
00:06:31.000 Enough talk.
00:06:33.000 Here's the other thing.
00:06:34.000 President Trump, I think, was more focused on trying to attack DeSantis in that particular dialogue than actually talking about the merits of the abortion issue.
00:06:51.000 Now, we as pro-life activists need to constantly be on our toes because we've been let down so many times.
00:07:02.000 Saying one thing about George W. Bush was a Republican who did not speak at the March for Life, and he was almost pro-choice.
00:07:09.000 In fact, his wife was very, very pro-abortion, remains to be pro-abortion.
00:07:14.000 And he talked this good game about Christian values, but when it came to that issue, he was like, oh, we don't want to talk about it.
00:07:18.000 We don't talk about it.
00:07:20.000 Just a little reminder, this is President Trump, the first president ever speaking at the March for Life.
00:07:25.000 Play Cut 161.
00:07:27.000 We cannot know what our citizens, yet unborn, will achieve.
00:07:32.000 The dreams they will imagine, the masterpieces they will create, the discoveries they will make.
00:07:39.000 But we know this.
00:07:41.000 Every life brings love into this world.
00:07:44.000 Every child brings joy to a family.
00:07:48.000 Every person is worth protecting.
00:07:51.000 And above all, we know that every human soul is divine and every human life, born and unborn, is made in the holy image of Almighty God.
00:08:04.000 That's right there bigger than some sort of heated moment where DeSantis gets brought up with Kristen Welker.
00:08:11.000 Forget that.
00:08:12.000 That's like a bar fight.
00:08:14.000 This is right there, straight communication of Imago Day.
00:08:20.000 And then he also did it.
00:08:23.000 He enacted it.
00:08:26.000 Here's something that we as pro-life activists, though, are not honest about.
00:08:31.000 Well, I am, and I get criticized for this.
00:08:34.000 If the 2024 election is a referendum on abortion, we will lose.
00:08:40.000 If it is just about abortion, we will lose.
00:08:44.000 America is not as pro-life as I am.
00:08:49.000 I know this.
00:08:50.000 I know this from talking to moderate suburban Republicans.
00:08:53.000 I say, Charlie, I'm with you on every issue except the abortion issue.
00:08:57.000 I know this on campuses, where it is by far the number one issue.
00:09:01.000 And now, the perspective that some of you might say is, but Charlie, we can't waver on moral clarity.
00:09:09.000 I agree with that.
00:09:11.000 I do.
00:09:12.000 But what Trump is trying to say, though, is, is there any sort of deal that could be struck where you have one side saying you can abort a baby, basically kill a baby right there up into the moment of birth?
00:09:27.000 Here's some data, though.
00:09:29.000 When abortion has recently been on the ballot in Ohio, in Kentucky, and many other states, Kansas, the pro-abortion side, wins.
00:09:42.000 And that doesn't mean it's not an important issue.
00:09:44.000 For me, it's one of my top issues, and it remains that way.
00:09:49.000 But excuse me when I don't get into the outrage cycle by certain commentators when a friend of mine, President Donald Trump, who did more for the unborn, is trying to strike a deal.
00:10:02.000 He already proved he's been pro-life, extremely pro-life.
00:10:06.000 There's another element to this, though, which is that the pro-life movement has a significant structural financial disadvantage when it comes to this issue.
00:10:18.000 And right now we are seeing evidence after evidence, state after state, that this is not a winning political issue in 2024.
00:10:26.000 I wish it was.
00:10:28.000 I wish we had a culture of life.
00:10:30.000 I also wish that we had a culture of life at the border.
00:10:33.000 We have a culture of death across the board.
00:10:36.000 And that's under, you have to understand this is bigger than just the abortion issue.
00:10:39.000 We do not have a cultural life for protecting 12-year-olds from chemical castration, a culture of life from kids getting sex trafficked across the border.
00:10:47.000 And remember, Donald Trump, not you, is facing 500 years in federal prison.
00:10:56.000 So the motivation for Donald Trump is if I don't win, I'm probably going to federal prison for the rest of my life.
00:11:02.000 And he thinks, and there's some evidence to support his belief, that if you do not have some sort of position on the abortion issue in Wisconsin or Arizona or Georgia that can at least be considered to be somewhat middle-of-the-road prudent, you're going to lose.
00:11:21.000 And I am curious for all of my very good pro-life friends out there, do you have any evidence that the pro-life issue is a winning issue?
00:11:31.000 Wisconsin, the Supreme Court justice seat, was a 10-point race.
00:11:36.000 Now you might say, well, Charlie, then why do you talk about the pro-life issue so much?
00:11:39.000 I have a different job.
00:11:40.000 I'm not running for office.
00:11:41.000 I'm legitimately trying to change people's minds.
00:11:44.000 I'm trying to make it so that abortion is a winning political issue.
00:11:46.000 I'm trying to go into the depths of hell of Flagstaff, Arizona, get screamed at and hexed by Wiccans and witches, and I am afforded the opportunity to be morally clear on these issues all the time.
00:11:59.000 That's why I could never run for political office.
00:12:02.000 But I'm also looking at, boy, what is the consequences of not winning?
00:12:09.000 You get zero of your pro-life choices.
00:12:11.000 Zero.
00:12:12.000 You get bad justices, planned parented all over.
00:12:16.000 And so if you get Donald Trump as president, it's not a question you know, you know you are going to get pro-life wins.
00:12:25.000 You know it.
00:12:26.000 We got pro-life wins last time.
00:12:28.000 Big ones, the most of any president in the modern era.
00:12:31.000 And I think it's equally as important to remember that there are some people in his ear that are saying you've got to become more pro-choice.
00:12:44.000 I think this is a healthy dialogue, though.
00:12:47.000 I think some of you that are pro-life that are speaking out, if I was in your shoes and I didn't know the president personally and you hadn't been through this for seven years, I would actually have the same reaction.
00:13:03.000 What I'm just trying to do is add a little bit of context in this, is that you're used to being abandoned on this issue.
00:13:12.000 The fact that there is suspicion amongst the rank and file of the Christian conservative grassroots, that actually gives me some promise.
00:13:21.000 It shows me that you are not robotic Democrats.
00:13:26.000 It shows me that you want to see the clarity, that this is a very big issue, and it's a big issue for me.
00:13:35.000 Mike Cernovich tweets this.
00:13:37.000 If you want to be pro-life with no exceptions, good for you.
00:13:40.000 Lose every election.
00:13:41.000 Have no political power and see what life looks like in a Bolshevik hellhole.
00:13:45.000 Will you feel good because you didn't compromise as your children starve in another halotomor?
00:13:51.000 That's the alternative.
00:13:53.000 Now, I wouldn't be as aggressive as Mike Cernovich here because I do see it on both sides.
00:13:56.000 I see it from both places, especially if you are a pastor or if you are an author or if you are a commentator and your whole thing is about moral clarity.
00:14:07.000 I get it.
00:14:09.000 But as Mr. Bismarck told us, politics is the art of the possible.
00:14:15.000 And there is a question of how possible is it to run on just this issue alone.
00:14:25.000 So it's a necessary balance.
00:14:27.000 It's a balance to remind President Trump that his base is pro-life, because I think he could have answered the meet the press question a lot better.
00:14:35.000 He shouldn't have attacked DeSantis.
00:14:37.000 The six or eight week ban is not, it was not worthy of the criticism that he leveled, but he was more going after DeSantis.
00:14:42.000 How should Trump have answered it?
00:14:44.000 He said, look, I was the most pro-life president ever.
00:14:46.000 Every human being is made in the image of God.
00:14:48.000 Right now it's left to the states.
00:14:49.000 A federal abortion ban will never come to my desk.
00:14:52.000 It's widely unrealistic.
00:14:53.000 I will defund Planned Parenthood.
00:14:54.000 I will defund all these other groups and I'll put more justice on the Supreme Court to defend life.
00:14:59.000 End of story.
00:14:59.000 Let's secure the border, end the war in Ukraine, and get our economy going again.
00:15:04.000 That's how I think he should answer it from this point forward.
00:15:09.000 All right, you've probably heard me.
00:15:10.000 It's actually now 25 pounds that I have lost.
00:15:14.000 And I'm sure some of you say, oh, Charlie, I've tried everything.
00:15:17.000 That was me.
00:15:18.000 You know, my first Zoom call with my PhD weight loss, I was kind of skeptical.
00:15:23.000 I was like, come on, guys.
00:15:25.000 All right.
00:15:25.000 I've heard this whole thing before.
00:15:28.000 And boy, was I wrong.
00:15:30.000 They know what they're doing, my PhD weight loss.
00:15:32.000 Look, this is 100% legit.
00:15:34.000 And people say, well, Charlie, you've lost so much weight.
00:15:36.000 And I say, yeah, my PhD weight loss.
00:15:39.000 Hello.
00:15:40.000 But look, they have a different approach.
00:15:42.000 And it's Dr. Ashley Lucas.
00:15:43.000 She's great.
00:15:44.000 I text with her.
00:15:45.000 She does a really, really good job.
00:15:46.000 25 pounds, I'll tell you.
00:15:48.000 And I have more energy and I'm healthier than ever before.
00:15:52.000 Here's why.
00:15:53.000 The program rids your body of the inflammation that is causing so many health problems.
00:15:59.000 If you look around today, America is the fattest it has ever been.
00:16:03.000 Our families, friends, and neighbors are dying of diabetes, heart disease, and Alzheimer's, now called T3 diabetes.
00:16:11.000 PhD has helped so many people who want to have a good active life, play with their grandkids, travel, hike to a waterfall, go for a bike ride, but their weight was holding them hostage.
00:16:21.000 They don't want any of you on experimental drugs for your brain degeneration from Alzheimer's or homebound with an oxygen tank for heart failure.
00:16:29.000 My PhD weight loss knows that losing weight is the best thing for overall health.
00:16:34.000 We are way too fat as a society.
00:16:37.000 And here's the thing: if you're listening to this and you say, boy, I'm a little overweight, it's perfectly fine.
00:16:42.000 Do something about it.
00:16:43.000 Use your free will, your agency.
00:16:45.000 Say, you know what?
00:16:46.000 I'm just not where I want to be.
00:16:48.000 This is an empowerment tool for you.
00:16:51.000 All of these things can be prevented.
00:16:53.000 You look at heart disease, the beast, you know, what they now call diabetes.
00:16:57.000 By the way, there's a great new book by Dr. Peter Atia about longevity.
00:17:01.000 You want to live long?
00:17:02.000 Lose weight.
00:17:04.000 Look, Dr. Ashley Lucas, she is the master of this, and she is the genius behind my PhD weight loss.

00:18:16.000 Charlie, you fear man more than God.
00:18:19.000 You are willing to throw millions of babies under the bus just to win a political race.
00:18:23.000 You have no principles, David.
00:18:26.000 No, in fact, my principles I care about so much that I know that if we do not have political power, our principles are nothing more than a bunch of op-eds and books that people don't read.
00:18:38.000 Putting principles into power is where politics comes in.
00:18:44.000 So you have principles and then you have power, but the segue between principles and power is politics, which can be very messy.
00:18:54.000 So what do we want?
00:18:56.000 Yes, of course, I want to save babies.
00:18:58.000 I'm 100% pro-life, but I want to win.
00:19:02.000 If you do not win, then your principles are nothing more than bumper stickers and tweets that you can rest on your laurels until the FBI comes and raids your home or until they start transing your kids.
00:19:18.000 Our principles are abstractions without political power.
00:19:23.000 There are two different types of roles: people that are running for political office and people that are in the public commentary space.
00:19:33.000 If I, Charlie Kirk, was wavering on the abortion issue, then I would be completely warranted to receive all the negative emails, but I'm not.
00:19:44.000 Instead, I'm merely offering context for President Trump, who has dedicated his life to beating the bad guys.
00:19:54.000 That's his life's work.
00:19:55.000 The life's work of Donald Trump, especially politically, is to beat the Marxists, beat the open border crowd, even beat the pro-abortion folks.
00:20:07.000 What is hilarious to me is, do you know who really hates Donald Trump?
00:20:12.000 The pro-abortion lobby, because he was responsible for reversing Roe versus Wade.
00:20:17.000 Not everybody, but some of you that have messaged me some very nasty emails about Donald Trump.
00:20:25.000 I wish there was a little bit more gratitude, a little bit more understanding that this guy delivered the goods.
00:20:34.000 You should have saw Washington, D.C. when Roe got overturned.
00:20:37.000 It was the demons came out of the fourth circle of hell.
00:20:42.000 And I am not exaggerating.
00:20:44.000 Those people did not see Trump as an ally.
00:20:48.000 So keep that in mind.
00:20:50.000 Okay, let's now get to the next one.
00:20:53.000 Charlie, let me just actually read it.
00:20:55.000 I'm not going to paraphrase.
00:20:56.000 I think it's too important to read actual questions that have come in here.
00:21:00.000 Charlie, will you do everything you can to help Trump with the messaging around important social issues?
00:21:04.000 I saw him on Megan Kelly, and frankly, I thought it was embarrassing.
00:21:08.000 This likely will not hurt him, but he is stronger.
00:21:10.000 If you can get strong on these issues, can you please help him?
00:21:12.000 I wish our candidates would listen to your show.
00:21:14.000 Vivek likely does.
00:21:15.000 God bless Kathy.
00:21:16.000 Thank you, Kathy, for the kind words.
00:21:17.000 Okay.
00:21:18.000 So I actually think that if you were to get upset about something, Trump on the trans one is probably something more worthy of getting upset.
00:21:27.000 And I actually, I didn't get upset because I know what he believes on it.
00:21:30.000 And I think people are playing way too much into the pause because you actually read the transcript.
00:21:33.000 It's perfectly fine.
00:21:34.000 But let's play this because this is also going viral and people are getting upset about it.
00:21:39.000 Play cut 137, please.
00:21:41.000 Can a man become a woman?
00:21:46.000 In my opinion, you have a man, you have a woman.
00:21:51.000 I think part of it is birth.
00:21:53.000 Can the man give birth?
00:21:55.000 No, no.
00:21:56.000 Although they'll come up with some answer to that also someday.
00:21:59.000 I heard just the other day they have a way that now the man can give birth.
00:22:03.000 No, I would say I'll continue my stance on that.
00:22:08.000 So receiving a fair amount of emails about people, I said, Charlie, how could he pause out of this?
00:22:12.000 Let's just talk about the policy here.
00:22:13.000 Let's calm down, guys, okay?
00:22:15.000 He's not a talk show.
00:22:18.000 He's running for president.
00:22:20.000 Trump said he will sign an executive order banning trans surgeries for kids.
00:22:26.000 Donald Trump also said that he doesn't think men can give birth.
00:22:29.000 That is heretical to the trans alphabet mafia.
00:22:33.000 But here is what I've been saying privately to the Trump team, and what I will say to the president, of whom I support 100%, is it's not 2018 anymore.
00:22:45.000 This is my only piece of feedback, even more than the abortion thing.
00:22:49.000 The country is actually in the favor of, let's just say, traditional biological reality, far more than it probably was even in 2018.
00:23:02.000 Dylan Mulvaney, trans surgeries for kids, trans strippers at the White House, all this crap that we've seen in our country.
00:23:10.000 The trans issue is a losing issue for the Democrats.
00:23:16.000 So my advice to the Trump team is that if there was actually an issue to lean even more into, because remember, politics is the art of the possible.
00:23:26.000 You have principles and you have power and politics bridges those two.
00:23:30.000 This is actually an 80 or 90% issue.
00:23:34.000 And the answer should be no.
00:23:37.000 A man cannot become a woman and a woman cannot become a man.
00:23:41.000 And if you go after our kids, we're going to put you in prison.
00:23:46.000 We're going to remove pornography from our schools and this trans nonsensical propaganda.
00:23:51.000 Trans strippers will not be invited to the White House, and we will not display gay pride flags next to the American flag outflanking them.
00:24:01.000 We're not going to have gay pride flags and trans flags on our embassies.
00:24:05.000 And by the way, let me just remind you, before everyone gets all up in arms, President Trump said that trans people that are suffering from mental delusion, which I repeat myself because all trans people are, are not able to serve in the U.S. military.
00:24:20.000 That was the right move.
00:24:21.000 Biden reversed it.
00:24:24.000 Trans will also keep the trans male scumbags out of your daughter's locker room.
00:24:31.000 So he's excellent on the policy.
00:24:33.000 I would improve a couple things, get a little bit more precise there.
00:24:38.000 But also, and I said this when it happened, that when you're going into an interview with Megan Kelly, there should have been a little bit better preparation on Trump's team because this is Megan's number one issue, where she is the least metropolitan New York-ish that you would imagine.
00:24:56.000 If you just do even like a five-minute overview of an opo, not oppo, but like a prep file for a Megan Kelly interview, of which I'm going on Megan's show next week, where Megan is like 10 out of 10 and a cultural American hero, in my opinion, in the last couple of years, has been her courage on the trans issue.
00:25:16.000 God bless her for that.
00:25:18.000 So, probably could have been better prepared in that regard.
00:25:21.000 And good for Trump, who has the courage to go on the show.
00:25:24.000 You think Biden could sit down?
00:25:25.000 Come on.
00:25:26.000 I want to read a couple emails here that we're receiving as we're doing this live.
00:25:30.000 Charlie, I agree with you.
00:25:31.000 Here's my stance: the Republican Party needs to de-emphasize the abortion issue.
00:25:36.000 Fighting on the Democrats' turf, we need to sell and promote an alternative adoption.
00:25:40.000 Adoption creates opportunity in families, abortion does neither.
00:25:44.000 Charlie, I trust Trump.
00:25:45.000 Actions speak louder than words.
00:25:47.000 Bless you, Charlie, and praise God for what Trump has done to save lives.
00:25:51.000 Charlie, I would rather have a pro-life president that I agree with 95% of the time than Joe Biden who's actually killing children.
00:25:58.000 Okay, well, that's rather reasonable, actually.
00:26:01.000 And look, if you're looking for long intellectual, let's just say, clarity on the trans issue, that's what the Matt Welsh program and the Charlie Kirk show is.
00:26:17.000 I have a great deal of flex in the joints when a baller politician, aka someone who's amazing, might not give the most precise answer, but he's going to sign the right stuff and do the right stuff and has done the right stuff.
00:26:36.000 So it's just, I think that there's some, and President Trump has actually done this to himself because he has turned politics into entertainment, understandably.
00:26:45.000 But I think that we are conflating our pundits, our talk shows, and our speakers with the guy that is going to govern.
00:26:55.000 They're not always the same thing.
00:26:58.000 So I want your continued thoughts of your freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:27:01.000 But if I were to summarize all this, President Trump does have to sharpen up some of these answers.
00:27:06.000 He does.
00:27:07.000 He's got to sharpen up some of them.
00:27:09.000 I wouldn't give them 10 out of 10.
00:27:11.000 I'd give them six or seven out of 10.
00:27:13.000 And if I didn't know Trump personally, if I hadn't been through so many cycles of this up and down the roller coaster over the last seven years, I could see some of the anger or some of the upsettedness on this.
00:27:25.000 I just happen to be in a different place in the sense of been around him, know what animates him, I've seen this.
00:27:34.000 But the track record is A.
00:27:36.000 That you can't possibly debate.
00:27:40.000 So instead of just kind of all the chatter and the white noise and people that, oh my goodness, guys, look at the record.
00:27:48.000 It's the track record, not the chattering.
00:27:52.000 Because that's what politicians like.
00:27:53.000 Talk, That's all they do.
00:27:55.000 Talk, Enough.
00:27:58.000 He did the stuff.
00:28:00.000 He signed the bills.
00:28:02.000 We have Amy Coney Barrett, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch.
00:28:06.000 Roe versus Wade is done because of him.
00:28:09.000 So I get the initial.
00:28:15.000 Why was Roe versus Wade repealed?
00:28:16.000 Because of Pence?
00:28:18.000 Because of Nikki Haley?
00:28:20.000 No.
00:28:20.000 Because of Trump.
00:28:22.000 So back off.
00:28:26.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:28:27.000 We are saving babies with pre-born by providing free ultrasounds.
00:28:30.000 When you introduce a girl to her baby by providing an ultrasound, you're giving her the truth at the most important time in her life.
00:28:36.000 And more than 85% of the time, when she sees the baby and hears the baby's heartbeat, she will choose life.
00:28:41.000 The voices that call themselves pro-choice are loud and proud, and they are everywhere.
00:28:45.000 It might feel like an uphill battle, but there is no better fight to fight than with the truth of an ultrasound.
00:28:50.000 $140 gives five mothers a free ultrasound and saves babies.
00:28:53.000 $280 can save 10 babies.
00:28:56.000 For just $28 a month, you can save a baby a month for less than a dollar a day.
00:29:00.000 And $15,000 gift will provide an ultrasound machine that will save lives for years to come.
00:29:04.000 Whether you want to save one baby or five or hundreds, that opportunity is just a phone call or click away.
00:29:09.000 I'm a donor to pre-born, and you should be too.
00:29:11.000 Call 833-850-BABY.
00:29:14.000 That is 833-850-2229.
00:29:16.000 Or go to preborn.org/slash Kirk.
00:29:19.000 If you want to save one baby or five or hundreds, the opportunity is just right there.
00:29:23.000 Go to preborn.org/slash Kirk.
00:29:28.000 We're going to get to a non-political topic here.
00:29:30.000 We have a lot of emails about the abortion thing.
00:29:32.000 I think we covered all that fine.
00:29:33.000 Charlie, what are some routines or things that you do in your routine that you think could help others?
00:29:37.000 Also, why are so many kids on antidepressants?
00:29:40.000 Okay, actually, this ties together in some ways.
00:29:42.000 So, I have something that I do that costs almost no money.
00:29:46.000 It only takes a couple of minutes.
00:29:49.000 It's so hard.
00:29:50.000 You think you're dying, but you're not.
00:29:53.000 It makes you mentally resilient, can help with depression, anxiety, which is cold exposure.
00:30:00.000 I do it nearly every single day.
00:30:02.000 Now, this is no fun, but I love this for a variety of reasons, whether it be a cold shower or a cold tub.
00:30:07.000 I do both.
00:30:08.000 Also, I'm a big sauna fan, but we'll just focus on the cold.
00:30:11.000 It's unlike anything I've ever come across because it is so disconnected.
00:30:17.000 The feeling is so disconnected from what is real.
00:30:20.000 So, for example, you know, there is a 42-degree cold tub that I try to do a couple of times a week, and I do dunks and I stay in there.
00:30:27.000 And then you go back and forth in the sauna.
00:30:29.000 It's great.
00:30:30.000 The science is over, the actual real science, not this fake garbage, is overwhelming and it's terrific.
00:30:35.000 But you feel, and it's not an exaggeration.
00:30:36.000 And if you've never done cold exposure, you're going to think I'm making it up.
00:30:40.000 You think you're dying.
00:30:41.000 I mean, it is alarm bells, amygdala response, noreperephrine is just spiking if you're in 42-degree water.
00:30:49.000 And by the way, please check with the doctor before you do this because if you have a bad heart, it could probably not go well.
00:30:54.000 But most young people, perfectly fine.
00:30:56.000 So you think you are dying.
00:30:58.000 You think that the world is falling apart.
00:31:00.000 It is every possible alarm response in your body is trying to get out of this water as quickly as possible.
00:31:10.000 In fact, if you do it, your diaphragm can actually kind of spazz out if you're not used to it.
00:31:15.000 But what's so amazing is that after about 30 seconds or a minute, it doesn't necessarily get easier, but if you could slow your breathing down, especially after you a dunk or two, now if it's sub 50 degrees, you're in the ballgame because that's cold, right?
00:31:30.000 If you're in 40 to 50 degrees, you're in the ballgame.
00:31:34.000 And you realize that once you get out of the water, it was 100% mental.
00:31:42.000 One of the few things where you feel, because for example, if you were to work out, if you were to run as fast as you possibly can, run wind sprints, and you feel like you're dying, you actually could pass out, right?
00:31:55.000 Something really bad could happen to you.
00:31:57.000 If you're bench pressing and all of a sudden you feel like your muscles are going up, but the cold tub is that the feeling is not necessarily directly correlated with the threat to your body, especially after you get somewhat initiated.
00:32:09.000 So therefore, it's totally the story that you are telling yourself when you are in the cold.
00:32:14.000 You're in the cold shower, you're in the cold tub or whatever.
00:32:17.000 Cold showers are even easier because anyone can do a cold shower.
00:32:20.000 Anyone at any period of time.
00:32:23.000 And it is this question right before.
00:32:25.000 It's amazing.
00:32:26.000 For those of you that don't do cold exposure, you'll learn this.
00:32:29.000 Those that do, you know exactly what I mean.
00:32:30.000 Where you have a decision to make.
00:32:32.000 Am I going to voluntarily do something that is good for me that I don't want to do?
00:32:39.000 That is a great habit to get in.
00:32:41.000 It's a very, very good habit.
00:32:43.000 Where you are in the shower and you go all the way down to as cold as you possibly can.
00:32:46.000 You stay there for 30 seconds.
00:32:48.000 That builds discipline, fortitude, builds resolve.
00:32:53.000 I also love it because the amount of time it takes, you know, some of these interventions, sauna is not, you know, it's very time consuming.
00:33:01.000 Minimum 20 to 30 minutes, super hot.
00:33:04.000 Cold exposure is 90 seconds.
00:33:06.000 If that, anyone can do it at any time.
00:33:09.000 By the way, the studies are overwhelming.
00:33:11.000 It helps with inflammation.
00:33:12.000 It helps with depression.
00:33:14.000 Helps with easing sore and aching muscles.
00:33:16.000 Helps with your central nervous system.
00:33:18.000 Helps with your immune system.
00:33:20.000 Trains your vagus nerve.
00:33:22.000 It decreases the effect of heat or humidity.
00:33:25.000 The benefits are so overwhelming.
00:33:29.000 In fact, instead of just giving so many kids antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and Xanax, maybe we should say, hey, try some cold exposure.
00:33:36.000 But that's hard.
00:33:38.000 But it's good for you.
00:33:40.000 It's great for you.
00:33:41.000 So that's something I hope that some of you in the audience will put into your routine.
00:33:46.000 It's been really great for me.
00:33:48.000 And look, of course, some people say, oh, you can get hypothermia.
00:33:51.000 If you stay in there for 15 minutes, you can get hypothermia.
00:33:53.000 If you do 90 seconds at a time, you're not going to get hypothermia.
00:33:56.000 Okay, but check with a doctor, medical professional, all that sort of stuff.
00:33:59.000 All these disclaimers, because I'm sure someone will email us and something will happen.
00:34:04.000 If they're like, oh my goodness, I stayed.
00:34:06.000 Just please check with your doctor.
00:34:07.000 Okay.
00:34:08.000 But it's about the mental side of it that is the most interesting and invigorating.
00:34:14.000 Where you are just over that water, like, I really don't want to do it.
00:34:17.000 The sense of accomplishment, even after 20 seconds, and it spikes baseline dopamine production for the rest of the day.
00:34:23.000 It spikes baseline dopamine production.
00:34:26.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
