00:00:01.000I take your questions on a variety of different issues.
00:00:04.000What's the downside of the Civil Rights Act?
00:00:07.000Are you even allowed to talk about that?
00:00:09.000We talk about forced vaccinations and the erosion of private property.
00:00:15.000We talk a little bit about anarcho-tyranny and also are cops killing blacks at a disproportionate rate.
00:00:23.000That and so much more on this Ask Me Anything episode, where I take only questions that have been emailed us: freedom at charliekirk.com at freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:00:35.000And if you want to get involved with Turning Point USA, you could do so at tpusa.com, where we play offense with a sense of urgency to win the American culture war.
00:01:28.000He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:34.000We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:02:34.000And you guys can check it out at charlieforhillsdale.com.
00:02:38.000You know, a lot of people say, Charlie, how do you kind of have the range of topics that you have?
00:02:44.000Well, I discovered the Hillsdale online courses.
00:02:47.000I've had the opportunity to get to know Dr. Larry Arn rather well.
00:02:51.000And I started to take these online courses and I realized that our shows became more interesting, that my ability to predict what was happening came easier, to see things with clarity, because if you study things that came before you that are ancient, that are real, and that are true, then all of a sudden you're able to view history.
00:03:10.000You're able to view what happens right now without some sort of polluted lens.
00:03:14.000So, for example, I have completed Intro to the Constitution, Constitution 101, and Aristotle's Ethics, and I'm almost done.
00:03:21.000I know it's been a couple of weeks of me saying this, but it's been a pretty intense course.
00:03:26.000Intro into Western philosophy, which is amazing.
00:03:29.000I finished the great American story, Land of Hope, with Dr. McClay that you guys can get right there at charlieforhillsdale.com.
00:03:36.000And here are just some of the other courses that if you want to homeschool your kids, first, you should take these courses and get a grasp of these.
00:03:42.000But if you just teach off the homeschool online courses at charlieforhillsdale.com, your children will have a much higher likelihood of loving the nation, loving the Lord, and really having wisdom.
00:03:55.000So, for example, there's public policy from a constitutional viewpoint.
00:03:59.000The U.S. Supreme Court, an introduction to C.S. Lewis, Writings and Significance, Winston Churchill and Statesmanship, the Federalist Papers, a proper understanding of K-12 education theory and practice, great books from the Renaissance to modern, and the presidency and the Constitution, and great books 101.
00:04:22.000And more specifically, another link that I'm going to plug that if you guys want to see some of their curriculum, it's a hard link to kind of write down.
00:04:29.000It's k12.hillsdale.edu is another great link that you could check out for specific curriculum, the 1776 curriculum.
00:04:42.000But let me just say this: that your children should be diving into things that came long before them.
00:04:48.000One of the problems with college in America is that it teaches you that if it was not taught in your lifetime, then you shouldn't, if it wasn't written in your lifetime, you shouldn't study it.
00:05:35.000These are things that will make young people develop character, which comes from the Greek word tattoo or imprint or kind of within your soul.
00:05:46.000Development of character is the most important thing our school system should do.
00:06:28.000And I want to say one other thing about the homeschooling thing.
00:06:30.000If you are not prepared to homeschool right now, maybe it's just too much time and you just are working a job and it's just not for you, then spend one hour a week.
00:06:38.000Here's my challenge for you: spend one hour a week where you get to teach your children something that you learned from these Hillsdale online courses.
00:06:46.000Maybe it's Sunday at 5 p.m. right before after dinner.
00:06:50.000And you sit down and you say, okay, we are going to talk about Alexander Hamilton.
00:06:54.000We're going to talk about George Washington.
00:06:56.000You might say, look, I don't know anything about that.
00:06:59.000Well, that's why we've partnered with Hillsdale, where you can learn so much in a short period of time.
00:07:03.000And there's little quizzes after that.
00:07:41.000Unfortunately, courts have really, in my opinion, they have abdicated their duty and their responsibility to stand up for private enterprise.
00:07:55.000Now, if there's a book I had to recommend that talks about how private business basically no longer was private business, and it details it in such a factual way, the media hates this book.
00:08:06.000It is a thought crime book, is Age of Entitlement by Christopher Caldwell.
00:08:12.000And this book goes through in great detail about how after the Civil Rights Act that was passed, it created a new regime where all of a sudden the federal government and governments had the right to go into private businesses and tell them what to do.
00:08:26.000Now, that's not to say the Civil Rights Act was a mistake.
00:08:29.000I'm saying that the unintended consequences of the rush to market, the monstrosity of the bill, if you actually read the bill, there are five components of the Civil Rights Act, and some that have very little to do with civil rights.
00:08:42.000There's Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, and Title VI is all about enforcement.
00:08:48.000And this is a really important point, which obviously the goal of the Civil Rights Act was to try to get rid of racist behavior, which is an admirable and a moral thing.
00:08:58.000And I personally am, I am invested in trying to make public policy to try to eradicate that.
00:09:08.000But what was the unintended consequence of all of that was trying to insert oneself into the functions of private business where all of a sudden now they can say, if you don't vaccinate your employees, despite the White House staff not getting vaccinated, then we can shut you down.
00:09:23.000If you don't wear a mask or a cloth over your face, we can shut you down.
00:09:27.000And this really all kind of started with the third founding of the United States, as Christopher Caldwell would call it, where you don't have as much rights as you thought you do.
00:09:38.000I don't understand how this is not a HIPAA violation.
00:09:40.000I don't understand, especially some people actually have legitimate doctor's guidance that wearing a mask is not good for them, that it restricts oxygen flow.
00:09:49.000And that's not for everybody, but every single person is medically different.
00:09:53.000And what we have decided to do is wipe away the entire tradition of personalized medicine under the guise of public health, which has always been a mirage.
00:10:15.000We know how this operates and how it works.
00:10:17.000Yet we can't even have a conversation on ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, zinc, vitamin C, vitamin D, not being tremendously overweight.
00:10:27.000If you really want to go back to how all of a sudden your rights were eliminated, go and realize how the radicals hijacked the well-meaning intentions of the Civil Rights Act in the 1960s and used it to create a new powerful post-private property regime where all of a sudden, next thing you know, you don't have the right as a business owner to say, you don't wear masks in my restaurant.
00:10:51.000Well, it's because the framework of private property was obliterated under good intentions, because good intentions do not always create good public policy.
00:11:00.000And instead, the bureaucrats and the activists took over the apparatus of the Department of Justice in the 1960s and they realized this can now be a blueprint, a blueprint to destroy individual liberty, and they could tell you how to live your life.
00:11:17.000Okay, is it possible to avoid digestion problems by eating only healthy organic food?
00:11:21.000It's a nice thought, but unfortunately, it's just not possible.
00:11:23.000You see, your natural ability to digest food declines with age.
00:11:26.000This is because your body produces fewer enzymes, which are the proteins responsible for digesting food.
00:11:31.000Fewer enzymes mean more difficulty digesting food.
00:11:34.000Even organic foods won't provide enough enzymes to properly digest them.
00:11:38.000And especially true if you cook your food because cooking kills enzymes.
00:11:42.000This is where supplementing with a high-quality enzyme supplement can be a huge help.
00:11:45.000I personally recommend mass zymes by Bioptimizers.
00:11:49.000I've told you about Bioptimizer's great magnesium product for months now.
00:11:52.000And Mass Enzymes, also from Bioptimizers, is the best-in-class supplement loaded with a full-spectrum enzyme for digestive protein, starches, sugars, fibers, and fat.
00:12:02.000Taking Mass Enzymes daily can help top off your enzyme level and replace the enzyme your body is no longer producing, which means you'll be able to eat all sorts of delicious foods and digest them quickly and effortlessly.
00:12:13.000Verified buyer Mike C. Gave Mass Enzymes a five-star rating, saying, quote, it has helped me address digestion and health issues.
00:12:19.000You want to eat all the same foods you have loved your life but have recently struggled to digest?
00:12:23.000Try Mass Enzymes risk-free and see what improvements you notice.
00:12:26.000For an exclusive offer, my listeners can go to massenzymes.com slash Kirk.
00:13:08.000And she details that there were 18, that's right, 1-8, according to the Washington Post, unarmed blacks that were allegedly shot by police.
00:13:17.000And if you go back through the database, it actually shows that out of the 18 people that were black that were allegedly shot by the police that were unarmed, some of them were driving cars, reaching for police officers' weapons.
00:13:30.000But isn't it interesting how the apparatchiks and the smear artists in charge of our media, they don't talk about black on black crime or black homicide victims.
00:13:39.000How many people do you think that are black die by homicide every single year?
00:13:48.000So 18 that are unarmed that are killed by police, and some of which are grabbing weapons and charging them, and 8,300 total black homicide victims.
00:14:11.000Anytime that they mention St. George, George Floyd, which ensued Floyd at Palooza throughout the summer of 2020, you should familiarize yourself with Tony Timpa.
00:14:24.000Tony Timpa was from Dallas, Texas, who eerie had almost an identical situation to that of George Floyd.
00:14:34.000Tony Timpa was a 32-year-old trucking company executive from Rockwell, Texas.
00:14:39.000He'd called 911 for aid, telling the dispatcher that he had schizophrenia and depression, and he had not taken his prescription medication.
00:14:48.000Timpa had already been handcuffed by a security guard when a group of officers arrived.
00:14:52.000They restrained him on the ground while he squirmed, repeatedly crying out, you're going to kill me.
00:14:57.000After he fell unconscious, they kept him prone on the grass for 14 minutes and zip-tied his legs together.
00:15:05.000The officer said, well, he didn't die down there, did he?
00:15:57.000But why is it you care about a white cop on a black person's neck, but you don't care about a Hispanic or a white cop on a white person's neck?
00:16:55.000In fact, we're going to go put a BLM sign outside of our yard, which I just saw in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
00:17:00.000I nearly gagged when I saw it on Arlington Heights Road.
00:17:03.000We've been talking a lot about this idea of anarcho-tyranny, which is policing the law-abiding instead of the law-breaking.
00:17:11.000And that is what's happened in most of the major cities across the country.
00:17:16.000We are told that there's an epidemic of racially biased police killing.
00:17:20.000There is an epidemic out there, an epidemic of black-on-black crime.
00:17:25.000Chicago year to date, 501 shot and killed and 2,399 people shot and wounded.
00:17:31.0002,900 total shot and 527 total homicides.
00:17:35.000In August, 60 shot and killed, 278 shot and wounded, 338 total shot and 61 total homicides.
00:17:41.000And just a couple days ago, a couple coming back from U.S. cellular field, White Sox Park, was shot and killed on the Dan Ryan on the highway going back from the Sox game.
00:17:54.000But no, we must worry about police and unarmed blacks.
00:18:01.000Did you know that over 80% of grass-fed beef sold in the United States is imported from overseas?
00:18:08.000Good ranchers have traveled to the United States, and the only source their meats from American farms and American ranchers that they ship is straight to your door.
00:18:16.000Support American farms and American ranchers.
00:19:01.000Arizona, we are now days away from a report being turned over from the auditors to the Arizona State Senate with its great president, Karen Fan.
00:19:10.000From what I understand, from what I'm hearing, you are going to have in that report the huge swings in numbers.
00:19:18.000You're going to see swings of ballot counts of magnitudes of that.
00:19:24.000And if that is what we see in there, if that is what comes out, there's absolutely no way that this election should have been certified for Joe Biden.
00:19:32.000So what the remedy for all that is and the truth of it, we'll see.
00:19:37.000And as soon as the audit results are out, you can find us on rumble.com, r-u-m-b-le-e.com is where you can find us as we will be streaming.
00:20:06.000I work for the Tampa Bay Lightning, a professional hockey team in the state of Florida.
00:20:09.000I was informed by my boss in the hallway of all places that because I work within 12 feet of our players and other hockey ops personnel, that I will be required to get the Chinese coronavirus vaccine due to the NHL's mandate.
00:20:20.000Meanwhile, our players are not required, but strongly recommended.
00:20:23.000After eight years of this organization, it looks like my time will be coming to an end over an experimental drug.
00:20:49.000Rachel, I want to compliment you and I want to encourage you.
00:20:52.000The nation will be saved because of people like you that stand up and put convenience and lifestyle aside and put truth and courage as a priority.
00:21:02.000If we had a nation of people like you, Rachel, the country would be turned around.
00:21:06.000That's what we're trying to do at Turning Point USA, obviously.
00:21:10.000I can tell you right now that so many people have grown comfortable obeying.
00:21:22.000You are being forced to get the vaccine, even though the players are not.
00:21:26.000You're getting forced to get the vaccine, even though the White House staff is not.
00:21:31.000You're nothing more than the, we are nothing more, Rachel, pawns in the game of the social planners.
00:21:38.000And I really have to say this: I've been really disappointed in how many Republicans have not stood up for their voters or their constituents when it comes to forced vaccinations on a government level and on a corporate level.
00:21:56.000Well, they're too busy giving speeches on the Senate floor trying to say, well, everyone should get vaccinated and it's okay to mandate it.
00:22:04.000And the reason they're able to get away with this, as I mentioned earlier, is that we completely obliterated the idea of private business and private property post the new third founding of our country in the civil rights era.
00:22:17.000So, Rachel, I just want to, again, encourage you and say that you might lose your job, but you will get a life of freedom and you will be convicted to continue to fight.
00:23:47.000He wins, well, Staten Island, and he wins Brooklyn.
00:23:51.000He wins everything except for the sort of wealthier parts of Manhattan.
00:23:57.000Democrats have to understand this is coming, and I don't know where mission control is on the Democratic side, but somebody, Donnie, needs to get that, and they need to start responding.
00:24:19.000Sometimes it's the actual shock troops like Alexandria Acasio-Cortez and her group of rioters that are kind of pushing forward the Democrat Party.
00:25:07.000What if China paid for this to happen and paid Joe Hayden Biden so he could get all the minerals and have a terror group running one of the biggest unmined mineral countries in the world?
00:25:16.000Look, I don't think we should trust the Chinese Communist Party with anything.
00:25:20.000I mean, the Chinese Communist Party is a soulless, atheistic dictatorship that needs to be confronted.
00:25:28.000And the fact that the Chinese met with the Taliban in late July, which we do know of, I believe that China was aware and involved in the Talibans taking over the nation of Afghanistan and likely gave money to the Taliban to pay off the Afghan government.
00:25:45.000Meanwhile, the Taliban, they're sitting on $1 trillion worth of minerals the world desperately needs.
00:25:52.000And this is why I'm afraid this entire situation is going to devolve into a hostage situation.
00:26:00.000It just came out that the Taliban is experiencing a cash crunch.
00:26:08.000The Taliban, they don't have a lot of money because the West, America, we've frozen all their bank accounts.
00:26:15.000So the Associated Press has come out with a story that says Taliban took Afghanistan but faces cash squeeze.
00:26:23.000And that might sound like a good thing, except for the fact that there are thousands and thousands of Americans walking the streets of Kabul that they could very well kidnap and use as hostages.
00:26:36.000The AP says, despite their dominant military blitz over the past week, the Taliban lack access to billions of dollars from their central bank and international monetary fund that would keep the country running during a turbulent shake-up.
00:26:50.000Those funds are largely controlled by the United States.
00:27:09.000If the Taliban, if they get motivated enough or they get in a position where they have no choice, the backs against the wall, what's to say that they wouldn't kidnap Americans, which is probably already happening, and use that to get money in return.
00:27:25.000State-backed projects motivated in part by geopolitics could be a different story.
00:27:29.000China is the world leader in mining rare earths.
00:27:32.000You see, China is an evil country, but they're a serious country.
00:27:35.000America is not currently a serious country.
00:27:38.000We should be the leader in mining rare earth minerals, but we don't because the environmentalists have destroyed that exploration in America.
00:27:46.000They said Monday that they have, quote, maintained contact and communication with the Afghan Taliban.
00:27:52.000China's looking at the Taliban in Afghanistan as another colony where they could get rare earth minerals.
00:27:57.000You see, China has no moral obligations with the Taliban or al-Qaeda.
00:28:04.000That's China's whole ambition is to kill every Chinese Communist Party would love nothing more than to kill every single American except the weak ones that give them access to our markets.
00:28:12.000They are a sworn enemy of the United States.
00:28:15.000And so China wants the lithium to make batteries for electric cars.
00:28:18.000Joe Biden wants to mandate electric cars.
00:28:21.000And then China price gouges Americans.
00:28:26.000It's not a coincidence that the Chinese Communist Party met secretly and privately with the Taliban right before all this stuff started to fall apart.
00:29:15.000There's a lot about Catholicism that I appreciate and admire.
00:29:18.000The Pope is one I just quite honestly can't understand, especially when you have this social revolutionary as a Pope.
00:29:24.000And I say this as an evangelical, Bible-believing Christian.
00:29:27.000And you have the social revolutionary that's a pope.
00:29:30.000That is just, this is just, this is the smallest example of a larger trend where he has politicized the entire Vatican towards left-wing social revolutionary politics.
00:29:40.000Is getting the vaccine the act of love?
00:30:17.000I refuse to all of a sudden deceive people and give them the false promise that they have when they get a vaccine that's only 42% effective.
00:31:04.000At thinker.org, T-H-I-N-K-R.org, they summarize the key ideas from new and noteworthy nonfiction, giving you access to an entire library of great books in bite-sized form.
00:31:14.000Read or listen to hundreds of titles in a matter of minutes, from old classics like Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People to brand new bestsellers like Jordan Peterson's Beyond Order.
00:31:23.000Even better, when they go out of their way to carry titles the left is trying to ban, like Ryan T. Anderson's When Harry Became Sally, a rational response to the transgender movement.
00:31:32.000Whatever your background or interests, you'll find compelling content on Thinker.
00:31:36.000I'm telling you right now, thinker.org, T-H-I-N-K-R.org is terrific.
00:31:40.000If you want to challenge your preconceptions and expand your horizons and become a better thinker, go to thinker.org slash Charlie.
00:32:09.000And if you do have a problem with forced vaccinations, I could forward you to some legal help, some people that we're going to be partnering with.
00:32:16.000There might be some exemptions that you could be granted, but I do want to just manage your expectations that these are tough fights.
00:33:11.000So I'm going to say that it's a massive, it's a massive red flag when all of a sudden the people that are vaccinated and are their biggest pusher of the vaccine, they're the ones that are actually getting sick the most.
00:33:23.000That should bother you and it should worry you.
00:33:53.000I am nervous about his mental decline and not judgmental of it at all.
00:33:57.000I mean, but the reality is you wouldn't, this is the kind of person you wouldn't let drive by themselves to go pick up their medication at the pharmacy.
00:34:03.000So now he's supposed to go to Delaware this weekend for yet another vacation.
00:34:19.000I'm worried about the imminent mental decline.
00:34:23.000And I'm worried about what that means for our nation and for the national security apparatus that is supposed to keep us safe from threats, both foreign and domestic.
00:34:57.000But what they can't do anymore is prevent transmission.
00:35:01.000So if you're going home to somebody who has not been vaccinated, to somebody who can't get vaccinated, somebody who might be immunosuppressed or a little bit frail, somebody who has comorbidities that put them at high risk, I would suggest you wear a mask in public indoor settings.
00:35:16.000Yeah, you want to talk about the people that are skeptics that are actually spreading information about the vaccine?
00:35:22.000It's the only people in charge of the public health department of our country.
00:35:26.000This is currently headed in a direction that requires dramatic action from you.
00:35:39.000As Joe Biden has betrayed American service members under fire in Kabul, as Joe Biden has left the southern border open, we have seen that the current regime has no interest in actually protecting or preserving the United States government or our Constitution.
00:35:57.000Well, number one, you pray, you learn, you stay aware, stay alert, and say, we're not going to take it anymore.
00:36:03.000We are going to push forward with truth in every way we possibly can.
00:36:08.000We're going to find out what happened in the 2020 election.
00:36:10.000We're going to take over every school board possible.
00:36:13.000This is a direct call to action for everyone listening.
00:36:17.000And you might say, well, Charlie, I don't know what I'm going to do.
00:36:19.000Can you name every school board member you have by name?
00:36:21.000Whether or not they do a good job or bad job?
00:36:23.000Pray for the issues they're dealing with.
00:36:24.000Have you taken them out to lunch, out to dinner?
00:36:26.000Are you spending an hour a week with your children or grandchildren, educating them on the beauty and the tradition and the history of our country?
00:37:40.000They needed not to win any battles so long as they were able to keep the war going long enough to exhaust the patience and willingness to fight of the British opponent.
00:37:51.000Another advantage, an incalculable advantage that the Americans had, I can express in two words, George Washington.
00:38:00.000They had the person of George Washington, a man of such fine and admired, widely, universally admired character and military skills, political savvy.
00:38:16.000He commanded the loyalty of nearly all Americans and thus served as a unifying force when he was made commander-in-chief of the revolutionary American forces.
00:38:28.000He signaled his willingness to play this role by appearing at the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia wearing his military uniform.
00:38:38.000So he was ready to play and from June 1775 on was commander-in-chief of the Continental Army.
00:38:50.000He received the position and accepted it on the condition that he received no pay for it.
00:38:55.000That was the kind of guy George Washington was.
00:38:58.000He was charismatic, courageous, selfless, tireless.
00:39:03.000He was not a world-class intellect like Jefferson, but he was always learning and had a great deal of practical and prudential wisdom.
00:39:13.000The greatest challenge that Washington would face was simply one of recruiting and holding together a credible army.
00:39:22.000There was a sense of fragility about the whole enterprise, so that the morale and willingness to serve of soldiers waxed and waned depending on the circumstances in the field and weather conditions, which were very important in the American Revolution.
00:39:40.000In August of 1776, not long after the Declaration, he had 28,000 men under his command.
00:39:48.000By December, that number had shrunk to 3,000.
00:39:53.000What had happened was that his troops had been driven from New York, New York City, by British regulars back and back and back until they ended up in Pennsylvania.
00:40:10.000It was always hostage to events, to successive peaks and valleys and consequent hope and despair, depending on how the war effort was going.
00:40:23.000Washington, through all of this, had to keep a cool head.
00:40:28.000He had to not be too influenced either by the giddiness of success or the despondency of failure.
00:40:38.000As it turned out, the winter, that winter, 1776 to 77, was an exceptionally bad winter and made for a gloomy time of discouragement.
00:40:50.000Fortunately for the Patriot cause, Tom Paine chose at that time to write yet another contribution to the war effort, a series of pamphlets called The American Crisis, which the most famous lines from that, which some of you may have heard, go like this at the beginning.
00:41:09.000He says, These are the times that try men's souls.
00:41:13.000The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will in this crisis shrink from the service of his country.
00:41:20.000But he that stands it now deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.
00:41:27.000Yes, he conceded that things looked very bad.
00:41:30.000But the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.
00:41:34.000Paine put it just the way Washington would have liked to have been able to.
00:41:40.000And George Washington ordered that Paine's words from the American crisis be read to his troops who were suffering through this bitter winter.
00:41:51.000And they had the desired effect of rousing them to a new burst of fighting spirit.
00:41:57.000And then on Christmas night of 1776, Washington struck back.
00:42:02.000He led a force through snow and sleet across the Delaware River.
00:42:07.000You've all seen the painting of that, which is not exactly historically accurate, but who cares?
